Review Verandah - Hyderabad

We were here for my sister’s birthday and we had a wonderful time. The consistency of food has definitely changed but not in a negative way. It’s just a little different but fresh. Extremely fresh and flavourful menu. Had some scrumptious food and drinks. Their salad spread was great. Highly recommended for family dinner.

Great food, great ambience, great views overlooking the Hussain Sagar and great service makes this an awesome place for your small get together and parties. The buffet spread is great along with great taste.

Recently i visited this place and i totally loved it. I attended their ministry of brunch, which was so good.. Everything was so perfect and unique.. There were lots of varieties in veg n non veg.. Starting from starters to main course, each and every item was worth it. Highly recommended 👍

Decent food, good ambience and the pool side view makes it one of decent option for lunch/dinner. Desert spread is good but would expect good spread of other main course as well. Would love it if they work on the taste wise quality of the food. Though it's a 5 star but day by day the maintenance is going on low side.

By Far the most hygienic place. Each and every thing is well organized by a cool business mind , nice ambience, automatic sanitizer available at the entrance, drinking water , handwash basin, washrooms everything is available for convenience which extremely improves the customer experience...Pricing is really very decent as per the experience you will get there..not just good food...! Really loved the place with beautiful side view of hussain sagar... The ambience and the hospitality of staff is very good. Coming to the food.. It taste awesome started with soft drink.. Need to try the mocktail of Kiwi flavour... Crispy corn and pizza adding to it... Simply delicious.. Buffet with thier arrangements is so beautiful for eyesight... All though its a fivestar hotel.. People who love taking photos selfies.. Benefit for u guys to capture much photos with a background.. Those who are fond of tollywood movies.. Can relate few scenes in this location.. Worth visiting the place for food, sight view and staffing response for their customers...

I have been to this place .. it's just amazing . Excellent service . Can't describe the hospitality given by one of the most efficient staff SAIRAM . He made my whole team feel so special . Every time we sat on the dinning area . He is always there to help us . Staff and food makes our stay more bful. Kudos to the team and lots of blessings for SAIRAM.

A treat to endure at the five star restaurant. You'll get Italian, continental, what not served professionally and deligent. Try the buffet. Although it does make you find the stars while you pay the bill it does endure the quality you expect. All time suggest for in and around Hyderabad.

Visited for the special bengali food fest for Poila Baisakh and loved it! Though much on the costlier side, each of the item served was delicious. Undoubtedly the best Bengali food I had in Hyderabad

Went here with good expectations for my birthday and it was horrible experience when we asked for cake aa ladie server said ok and after 15min she informed us it will take 20 min and for aa price<br/>We got aa pastry for buffet and they dont even have aa candle<br/>Buffet was with limited items just with one starter<br/>Place was with trainees when we request for something they need to call their senior<br/>Not a fine dining experience for the price we pay<br/>Not recommended

Absolutely not recommended. It’s awful than a small restaurant outside. Bullshit. No menu for buffet and a there are no options in buffet. Cannot be 5star. I suggest to stop making fool by such worst experience.

This place is way overrated. For such a big hotel and a restaurant rating of 4.5, this place is a flop. The cost of buffet it says here in zomato is so wrong. They charged us way more and we wouldnt have minded if we had a good meal but the food quality is aweful and the taste is not anywhere near the standards expected from an establishement like this. I conclude, dont go here, a huge waste of money and calories. Not to mention ruined our dinner occasion too. Ugh!

The ambience is pretty good. The hotel view looks out to the city. <br/>For a group of 5 people, we ordered: <br/>1. Corn seekh kebab: was pretty basic. Nothing extraordinary. <br/>2. Chettinad paneer tikka: this was good, yet not as spicy as we were hoping. <br/>We found the portion size to be pretty small. Each of us got only one starter piece per person. <br/>We also ordered: <br/>3. Chicken Malai kebab: again nothing extraordinary. <br/><br/>For the main course, we went ahead with: <br/>1. Some tomato flavored paneer gravy <br/>2. Murg Dhaniwal korma: the chicken curry was very tasty. <br/>3. Dal makhani <br/>4. Steamed rice <br/>5. Roomali roti <br/><br/>In all, I found the food to be pretty basic. It wasn’t something great to talk about. This is place where we enjoy with family in weekends good listening of live songs from Rupesh singer and my children's enjoy the food especially desserts and the staff was very polite behaviour thank for rahman and tiyash

The Verandah at best can be described as a roadside restaurant....or even worse if we look at hospitality and guest-care and guest-delight attitude of the staff. They genuinely make you feel they are doing a favour by allowing you to dine at the Verandah. They genuinely make you feel that you pay for all this in the end. We went to the Verandah on 1-Jan-2020. We were hosting a birthday party to a little girl and combined it with a family reunion for people who have come from various parts of the World.  We booked the table well in advance (in the afternoon). When all of us landed, the first question we faced, despite telling the name on which the booking was done, was "I need to check sir if your booking is there!" and asking me a minute later, "Whom did you talk to for making the booking?" Since there were octagenerians too with limited diet requirements, I personally requested Chef (Gautam) to see if he could make something special for the elders. He smiled and promised. Not once did he come or ask if everything was going fine. The staff didn't know the concept of delivering delight. They were not empowered to take decisions to deliver delight and memorable experience. So, Verandah is the place to go if you have if you are sick of all the eateries in Hyderabad and no where else to go....and experience authentic lousy customer experience.

I came up with great expectations but it disappointed me. I didn’t find much varieties in the food sections but the ambiance is good with friendly service.

It was a great experience at Verandah – The Park. As we entered the restaurant, greeted with smiling faces. Special thanks to Minakshi for taking care of our dining experience.<br/><br/>Moving on to the food. It has a extensive spread with huge collection of Indian and continental (veg and non-veg food).<br/><br/>Mainly appetizers were delectable, I like crispy wings which were near to KFC style and tawa fish was flavorful. I like the salad spread which were fresh and tasty. Main course was also decent.<br/><br/>And finally the dessert spread which looks colorful and delightful. It’s a huge spread with verities of Indian and continental desserts. Opera and Red Velvet were top of the world.<br/><br/> Must visit place for food, ambience and service.

* Late review *<br/><br/>One of the best places for Sunday brunch. We happened to visit on the International Chef's day so they had an even bigger, special spread, with a lot of themed desserts. Live counters were good too, got Oriental noodles served, along with pasta and sautéed veggies. The chaat counter and Indian desserts were tempting, and everything tasted good.<br/><br/>The place is a little congested if at full capacity, and not ideal for dates. Also, comfortable seating is restricted to indoors. However, one can roam around and get a feel of the live counters, and sit by the pool.<br/><br/>Mr. Manikanta served us well, ensuring we had a great dining experience.

Staff is polite and humble<br/>I would like to give a few names for staff for their spectacular service- manikanta and renu<br/>They work tirelessly to try and attend each and every request in time.

Too much crowd makes it feel uneasy for the service and the food too not appealing as before.<br/>Not a good dinner option .

The buffet variety was terrible. They just had one starter each for both veg and non-veg menus which, according to the price of the buffet doesn't seem justified to me.

I came here with great expectations but the didn't find much when compared to other star hotels the ambience would be definitely good service was good the chinese was not as expected even the main course less starters desserts are ok all I can say is don't dare to take the responsibility to take your friends or team they will end up cursing you....

I gave 3 stars because of the very limited non-veg food spread in dinner buffet. Only 5 non-veg items i.e. 2 starters, 1 biryani and 2 curries. This is certainly not up to the standards of a 5 star hotel and is way below the par. Very disappointed with the menu.<br/><br/>The only silver lining was the ambiance and live music. Special mention goes to Mayank Ahuja who was very hospitable, attentive and courteous all through our stay there.

The price is way too high for the variety and I request never ever try to come to this place , it is a dampner. You will be definitely get disappointed for Rs 1800 buffet you just one vegetarian starter. The place is too congested.

We went for a Sunday brunch here and boy oh boy, did it turn out be an experience? Yes, and a good one at that!<br/><br/>The place is located on the 7th floor of the hotel and has a mesmerizing view of the Hussain Sagar lake and the National Flag swaying in the wind. The entire experience gets accentuated on a cloudy, cool day.<br/><br/>Coming down to the food, there is a wide spread with unlimited mocktails, milk shakes etc. The indoor seating area is not huge but is sufficient to handle the crowd. There were multiple live counters serving grilled chicken, fish, prawns and veg fare. They also had jowar roti and accompanying curries in the live section. There were chaats, noodles and fried rice, malpuas and pancakes too in the live section. The curd though used in the chaats tasted a bit sour but everything else was otherwise good. The spread is so huge that you cannot do justice to it in just one visit.<br/><br/>The biriyanis both veg and non veg were one of the best I've had. I didn't have much in the main course as I was way too full by then. If there is one area of improvement, it would be the desserts as they lacked variety and the regular fare of ice creams can be improvised.<br/><br/>A big shout out to the service by Mayank and Rahaman who were on their toes and were available all the time to cater to our requirements. This is one aspect which makes a customer wanna keep coming back and I for one will sure will be doing so!
