Review Khaan Saab - Hyderabad

Deepika V
Loved the food, service and over all experience. 4.5☆ The staffs were always alert to know your requirement or be there to help you with anything you need..they make you feel comfortable and special and keep taking your feedback, which is highly appreciated. Bonus brownie points given for the extra care taken in every little things that they could possibly do in there service. The ambiance however felt a bit dark n dull..i had gone there for lunch and i felt better lightening would have made them get that perfect rating!

The place is on the expensive side, but I really loved the place and the food! The ambience is dim, but really good, has an essence of it's own. Feels royal. The table set-up and the service as well, is quite good. Coming to the food, definitely try the veg starter: Bharwan Khumb - It's a mushroom dish, and even if you're a non-vegetarian, it's bound to impress! The entire group loved it best. All the other dishes we had that day was really good as well.

You will never be disappointed with their service, ambience, food whenever you visit no matter what you order and especially my favourite fruit punch. Khan Saab has been my every time visit whenever I visit Hyderabad. I have been always satisfied by the way they treat us completely worth it.

The place has a feel of majestic grandeur to it. Been with friends for a birthday party and family get together. The kababs are delicious and so are the other non veg items. The ambience is unlike any other place. The decoration and interior give a royal feeling to the dining experience. They have even decorated the lobby in same style !!! A visit is truly advised.

What a place. The Royal feeling of eating in a palace like atmosphere. Tandoori prawns were like godly food. Parat waali biryani was too good. Seekh kebabs, gajar ka halwa were must try.

Royalty is redefined at few places in our city when it comes to good food and ambience. In last 3 years in Hyderabad, I have visited very handful of restaurants where food and ambience are both royal and the classic approach on customer happiness and high standards on food are upheld.
Yes, I have come across such a legend none other than Khaan Saab. It’s in the GVK One mall and the location inside is tricky as there’s a fun one area, so you may have to get help of help desk near food court entrance to guide you. Once you walk in the corridor there is a sight to behold, A giant life size elephant sculpture!!!
No kidding, it’s a huge wooden tusker elephant 🐘 right at the beautiful lounge before you step in to the dining space. The diner is so huge, high ceilings like a ballroom with chandeliers, full wall length portraits of khaan saab in horse 🐎 it’s all royal!
Beautiful cutlery in bronze, we started off with mock tails first so it needs to wait.
.
All their food is damn good and highly appreciating the men in suit who will right guide you to the best food. So do talk to them. We had Pav with mutton stuffings and Pulao and Briyani. Rightly teamed up with the cocktails (which was so tasty, so reduce sugar/syrup) we enjoyed the night.
.
Food-5/5
Drinks-2/5
Service-5/5
Ambience-4/5
Value for money-4/5
.
Follow us in Instagram @eatlikejo

4 rating for this place is a misguided rating. Deserves only 2

Location and Ambiece - 3/5
The place is location on the top floor of GVK mall. The mall is very easily accessible but the restaurant approach on the top floor is not great especially if you are out for dinner. It's gloomy and low in lighting..the interiors are pretty good with a very good staircase leading to the main hall.

Food -2/5
The food is not that great here. The tomato shorba was cold and spicy. Coming to the starters the Reshmi kabab tikka was very spicy and not that great of taste as well. The amritsari fish is average. They have 2 special rotis called burari and malai which are pathetic. High on oil and greasy you will not be able to eat one.

Service - 2/5
They are low on staff and service is slow. The staff is very Cordial and know the menu pretty well but the food is not good.

If you ask me, skip this place and visit some other restaurant. Not worth the visit.
Girish Rohida
Service is worst. You have to look for menu by yourself . Have to call waiter from kitchen to place your order. Half the menu is not available. And the most surprise thing is that they don’t have Soda to make fresh lime. Strongly NOT Recommend

Ambience is good. Food quality is good and the buffet is really good and comes under feasable budget. Can increase their variety on starters.

I went to this place along with my mom to have lunch. We ordered tomato tulsi sorba, makai de kebab and murgh tikka biryani. This was my second visit to Khaan Saab as I liked the food when I visited the place first time. Tomato shorba was delicious and exactly tasted the same as before. Now comes the starter....I was expecting a kebab kind of item but it came as spring role type looks. Quantity was enough for 2...10 medium size pieces but the stuffing inside the roll was not at all good. It was giving only spicy taste. Biryani was best....juicy chicken tikka nicely blended with the aromatic rice of biryani....in short satisfied with shorba and biryani but next time if I visit I have to be careful choosing there starters. Ambience also really cool...gives the royal feel....service was quick.

Really frustrating....they are not serving Zomato...please refund my money...first time I went to any hotel for Zomato with my friends and the answer of them is really frustrating...

Sorry to say, I took my family for the dinner, and had to put my head down for being served very pathetic food. Sheek kebab with lot of onions, chicken tikka with lot of food colour, tala hua gosht with no gosht only bone , veg kebab was smelling with burnt oil with bland flavour, lahsuni Palak paneer with burnt garlic smell, we had stomach issues after eating your food, will never be back to eat your food. Thank you for the never comeback hospitality, huge disappointment.

I would like to share my experience which i had with Feast restaurant which is located at Banjara hills . good ambience with good food makes everyone's day.the same thing happened with me when i went to have lunch at khaan saab Restaurant for having lunch. good place to have delicious and tasty food .good place to visit with family, friends and experience the food.

For the kind of hype this hotel has made we wanted to try it out but found below my expectations. Food wasn't that great. The experience was not at all close to the"royal guest" .

Food - 2.5/5
Service - 2.5/5
Ambience - 2/5

Entered into a little dull and dark ambience with few people on a Friday Evening. Waiters lacked energy but were quite committed. Firstly ordered starters, Corn kebabs were a bit over spiced, gosht ke gappe dint seem to live up to the hype. Waiters had to be told to get bottled water and serve food.

Past a half hour,We ordered main course. At one point I just thought of getting the bill after starters and having my dinner at home, but thought otherwise.Ordered dal makhni ,murgh kandahari, rogan josh and malai kofta. They forgot the malai kofta and I had to ask them to get it.Food was good but lacked the delicacy that is expected from a place like this.

Anyways guys go for it if you've heard about it,but I can bet on a few better places in the vicinity.

Best in class in everything. Just like it's name. It's royal. Food was incredible, ambience was breathtaking. Waiters were helpful and courteous. Overall a superb experience. Highly recommended.

You feel like you are dining with the Queen of England (a like too much). I, personally, think that one cannot expect tasty food at places like this, but then again the taste is not terrible.

I don't think I have mention how courteous the welcome was. The place looks marvelous (and expensive).

Unfortunately, it's been quite a while since I had visited the place and I don't remember the items we had ordered. So I can't recommend particular dishes to order.

But I can tell you this: Whatever the item you ordered, ask for 'extra spice'. The place serves Lucknow cuisine so do not expect Hyderabadi taste.

The place is not good for a casual hangout or a casual date or a guy's birthday party, but it is definitely the place for a classy meal.

On the whole, I would not go ahead and say that the I would not revisit the place but I would definitely be careful about the company I choose and the money I would spend for a meal.

I went there with a few friends. In the beginning I thought the place was quiet. I later realised that there is a reason why the place was empty most of the time. The quality of food was poor. The restaurant was dark and dingy. It hides the poor upkeep. This is a never again for me.

Awesome food good ambiences delicious starters very courteous hospitable Staff... specially mr.ainul was very kind with us. Love the place.. planning to come again soon.. cheers..!

The ambience of the place takes you to another world. The food was good too, no alcohol is served so you can use your zomato gold for mocktails only but they were good too. The food was a bit overpriced but worth a try once. Loved the Malai paneer tikka!
Nalini Kanth V
The ambience was great. Ideal for corporate and family gatherings. But I ordered vegetarian starters and was served non-vegetarian. The staff and the manager were like "oh ok...". They didn't even apologise for what went wrong. I definitely am not going back there. But I guess for people who eat both veg and non-veg that might not be an issue.
Jason Corleone Robert
Food and ambience is great.

Service could have been better. A bit understaffed in my opinion.

Went in with a Zomato Gold on drinks, however was disappointed to discover that drinks weren't being served. So that was a bummer.

Overall, okay experience.

One step inside this richly furnished and opulent restaurant and you would be taken back to the yesteryears...

The staff were very warm, although we felt that the service could have been slightly faster. But this didn't bother too much because I could wait forever for those treats to find their way to me :)

Gosht ke gappe takes pani puri to an entirely new, succulent and delicious level and is highly, highly recommended. The murgh parat biryani was everything the menu claimed and more - it was tender and mellow, but every mouthful ended with this tantalizing bite of mild green chillies that just had me gobbling more and more :) The mocktails were good.

The other nice thing that stood out to me was that they have a pretty extensive vegetarian menu.

Pricing was reasonable.

All in all, this place is a must visit.

PS - My last visit there was about 2 years back, so this review is NOT reflective of current trends. But in my heart, I know Khaan Saab will not disappoint...
Nitika Rohilla
The ambience is too good. It's like this huge ballroom where people are enjoying their meals. The food I would say doesn't match the standards but it's not bad. It's simply good. But the ambience and the service steals the show. Must visit to enjoy the experience.
Mahesh M
I had been there for dinner and was denied Zomato gold drink offer on mocktails. Had to call the call center to get it resolved. By the time it got resolved I was done with my dinner. So didn’t use the offer. Mosquito around in the restaurant. Starters were good but food was ok. Service also was slow.

Waiters/Waitress seems to be great with JUST taking orders and penning them down on the book!! Everything after that is pure nonsense..Lacks good customer service, serving etc.. and management needs to focus on it before its too late!!
Somasree Sengupta
Khan Saab is worth at least one time visit for everyone to experience their grandeur.
And interestingly this has some awesome culinary treats for vegetarians in contrary to the general assumptions.
I am a nonveg food lover, however I loved their paneer items and dahi korma in starter.
They have almost all variety of Indian bread, all good, chicken kebabs were good , and so were chicken curries, didn't stand out though.

Now coming to the decors and furniture ------ they're grand. I have just added 2 stars only for their interior.
Would be definitely visiting at least 3-4 times again.
Cost for 6 people was 2400 which is pretty low given it's location and grandeur.

This place once used to offer a very lively fine dining experience with amazing food. But that was only in the past. My visit to the Restaurant yesterday left me wondering about what had happened to such a once upon a time fine restaurant. First up the ambience wasn't the most lively and due to some reason we found the lighting to be very dull, the air conditioning can be much much better! Very slow service, had to catch hold of the waiter to place the order and ask for water. Stated off with Dhahi ki Galouti which was amazingly good! Unfortunately that was the first and the only good thing about our meal. The Kashmiri Paneer and the Dal Makhani where very average. The Nan was cheewy and Cold! The Biryani had absolutely no flavour. Overall a very average dining experience.

If you ever crave for Mughal cuisine you must visit this place, this place has got really good food.
Perfect place to take the family out for dinner.
Ambience is put up as royal as the name states..
Make sure you go there with the empty stomach because you are definitely going to indulge a lot of food.
Must eat - Biryanis and kebabs..
Mounika Saini
Ambience is soooooooo good we enjoyed there. Food is good but bit costly. I'm ready to visit again. There is an elephant sculpture where we had a great time for a photo session. I suggest it for friends get-together.
Rajat Mehra
Food was good. But, the variety could have been more. Also, they need to ensure that service levels don’t drop towards the end of buffett time.
Rana Dey
Over here the buffet is very cheap the chillypaneer is very good in taste and the service of the staff is very good the food is good they give the roti item prepared on the table u get a fresh roti items overall it’s good

This place is quite good for having a dinner after watching a movie in inox, but here too not more eating options on he menu, nice ambience for family and food is good, the elephant's statue on the entrance gives a jumanji like feeling.
Kota Srinidhireddy
Ambience goes with the name perfect place, Food Lucknowi style ,mutton gappas like golgappas are so gud , rotis are different and yes so oily should improve, taste good, service has to be improved very slow 👍

I have ordered Biryani from your restaurant but when I checked the parcel and opened it the rice was not good nor even it is cooked correctly.

Spread over a large area, on the fifth floor of GVK One Mall, Banjara Hills is Khaan Saab. What attracts you immediately is the warm ambience, larger than life portrait of warrior king and queen, swords as accents on the wall, the majestic staircase and an inadequate lighting for photography, otherwise just all right.

Their starters are something to talk about. From Tangdi kebab to Nawabi Kakori kebab (one of the must tries), the dishes were delectable. Meat so tender melts in the mouth, literally, as was promised in the Menu.
Mains was a dish of Chicken Tikka Lucknowi biryani. All their biryani dishes are Lucknowi. This dish is definitely on the spicier side. So if you want a mildly spicy one, pls choose from the other options.

And do not forget to order the meetha banarasi paan in the end. You can customise your own paan and trust me it's a little treat to yourself!

Akhil Jindal
One of the worst experience that I have ever had. Starting from Uncleaned table cloth and ending with worst experience in food.

Aloo tiki 1/5 was stale
Corn cheese kurkuri 2/5
Dal khaan saab 0.5/5 Not even related to any khan saab experience.
Murgh mirch hara pyaz 0.5/5. It is mentioned as a must try but i can assure you that no wants to try this one.
Had a horrible experience. Had to wait 15mins for a glass of water and wait for 45 mins for a serving of biryani made of half boiled rice. To pay a hefty amount for such an experience was even more horrible.

Went to Khaan Saab on Wednesday. We were shopping in GVK and Khaan Saab looked like a good option for lunch.
The ambiance is apt for the name, Khaan Saab. The dinning area is huge and elegant. Though I felt some extra efforts are needed from the management to maintain the decor. This will enhance the experience further.
Coming to food, we had Shikanji, Crispy Palak starters and Murg Tikka biryani. The taste was good, especially the biryani, which was perfect.
The only disappointment were the deserts. Less options and not up to mark. We ordered kulfi and phirni. Found them just average.
Price wise I found the place reasonable, average cost for two is approximately 1600/-.
Overall, I think Khan Saab is a good place for a regular lunch or dinner plan.
Subrata Pradhan
I visited this place three times in the 2.5 weeks I was in Hyderabad so that itself should speak volumes about my experience. The paya shorba and tawa mutton biryani are must try items.
I have given a 4 instead of a 5 because of the poor service the last time (out of the 3) I visited them. That is one area where they need to improve.
Horrible experience at the retaurant today. We went for Sunday lunch. The service was painfully slow. The main course took forever to come. After the food came, nobody was there to serve it. We were done with the food and yet the drinks did not come! Our waiter just vanished in thin air and we never saw him again! Finally, we gave up on waiting for the drinks and we asked for the bill. That took another 20 minutes to arrive! When we complained to the manager, he said “my kids have done mistake”! The waiters are kids apparently! I would rather visit a place that has “adult” waiters!
Sayan Das
Horrible Service and Ridiculous staff.Totally ignoring our requests. Even for giving the bill it took them 15 mins. We left the place without paying and then a guy came running after us. Really sad.
This place is good but service is a little slow. Food was tasty. Chicken was a little under cooked. Staff is very courteous. When we landed up at 12:30 there was not much of a crowd. They a place for buffet too. We took alacarte and loved it. Starters were very tasty and succulent. Fish tasted great. Few items were not available. They had low spice food which I liked. The Kulcha were excellent. Desserts qubani ka meeta and gajar halwa were very good. Worth the visit.
Gypsy_nomnom
A large seating area with royal ambience and service. We ordered paneer peshawari , which was not so great. Garlic butter naan came with out butter, so it was replaced, however the naan was crispy rather being soft. Laccha paratha was good. Also, veg hariyali with red gravy was good and tasty. Expect 15-20 mins for the food to arrive. Service was good but can be quick.
Vishnu Gupta
Amazing food always. Loved their hospitality. Have been to this place a number of times and haven't got bored of it nor their food. Recommended
Rohan Upadhyay
The restaurant decor is beautiful . But can be refurbished because the wall painting and touch up seems to have been done long time back . Roganjosh taste is not authentic .
The drinks will take time since it is being brought from a level up .One should try only south indian specialities if they are thinking to dine here .
Garima Nahata
This place is a perfect blend of royality and mughali cuisine. We ordered paneer lababdar and vegetable biryani and both of them were authentic in taste.
Would love to visit this place again. Cheers !

Buffet was good.Ambience totally different & soothing.Starters were too good.Less crowded.
A good place to go with your partner or family.Worth it.

one of the finest dining places in Hyderabad, resides where you expect it the least, GVK ONE.. one of the best quality restaurants I've been to in my city. Love the hospitality and food. Would appreciate if their waiters could do a little better.

It’s a good experience here.
Ambiance is good.
Service is good.
Taste is also good.
Enjoyed with friends.
Location is GVK mall means a great things for it.
This place is a Persian culture delight. Aroma of cuisine will take you back to the Arab days and delicacy alongside Nile. Try the evergreen Mutton Biryani and I am sure you will enjoy it. Spread of Kebabs and non-veg dishes are worth a try.

Khaan Saab - A Royal Cuisine. This place is extremely beautiful with full lights , but since it was dim lighted during the day times it made us feel Dull.

As named, their cutlery and the interiors make us feel the Royalty with beautiful paintings, Artifacts, Royal Talvars etc hung all over. The Grand Staircase makes the place look more Regal.

Their Menu is extremely limited with only Authentic Mughal/Awadhi Dishes with no Regular NID/Chinese items.

Starters :
Karare Panner Kebab - Minced and nicely spiced panner heavily covered with crispy Noodle like covering. Extremely Crisp outside and Soft inside. Portion size was good

Dahi ke Galouthi - Being an Vegetarian, I didn't taste any Galouthi Kebabs. But their Dahi ke Galouthi made our day. Hung curd + Desi Spices -> Pan Fried superbly. This was very soft, mouth melting. Only concern was the portions were very less. Only 4 pieces per plate and no special chutneys.

Tawa Macchi was ok. Lal Mirch ke Teekha Tikka, a chicken based Tikka was also spicy and yummy.

Main Course :
Subz Panch Mel Biryani - Vexed with heavily spiced Hyd Biryanis, this biryani was refreshing. An higher version of a Pulao with all biryani ingredients, it was served piping hot topped with deep fried onions.
Dahi aur Pyaas ka Raita - Yummy.

Tawa Mutton Biryani - Extremely yummy. Portion sizes are good for Biryanis.

Drinks:
We opted for Apple aur Pineapple Panna. The first sip gave us the tanginess feel of Pani Puri's Mint Pani. But overall it was something different from regular. Apple was not identifiable throughout.

No major complaints on food but their service is poor.
Staff is not very attentive. Main Course was served after 30 mins and repeated reminders. We had to ask for water many times.

This Place is bit pricey but if their staff service improves, we can enjoy the place on more relaxing note.
Vijay
Service time is too much and guess running under staff. Could have been better . Now we have to check the times food rating too. Very bad experience. Actually came to spend my wife's birthday . But really not happy at all.
Dinesh
Ambiance is ok, food is ok. Must try Mutton dishes.
Staff do not have a clear idea how Zomato Gold works. This was disappointing they couldn't offer a proper service on drinks. Need to in improve.
Asha JS
Wanted to give 3.5 but no Zomato has removed that option. So I happened to visit them today for lunch after a movie...I loved the ambiance. It's dim lit I guess perfect for me for lunch or dinner as gives a calm and soothing effect. We ordered for chicken tikka biryani which a speciality over here and Raj Gosht sabzi with tandoori roti. Loved the biryani it was spicy and all the spices blended well in rice grains and Chicken. Bit spicy though than the normal biryani we eat but it's certainly super tasty. Raj Gosht was brilliant-rich thick gravy with boneless medium cut sized pieces accompanied well with roti and biryani both. Till this we were really impressed and as we love dessert we ordered Lychee ki Tehri which was in menu. We waited almost for 20 to 25 minutes and there was no update on that neither I could see any staff to respond to us. We asked for the bill as by the time our mood was totally off to eat anything over here.

Staff even doesn't bother to apologise or to give any kind of explanation. If that thing is not their for the day just update your guests atleast we can see some other options and order. It's so annoying to keep waiting unnecessary.

I was so much impressed with their food but if this kind of service they have I will obviously hesitate to bring anyone here. Staff over here seems to be bit reserved and not at all hospitable to me. Well I doubt will I be back or not.

I have been to both the Khaan Saab restaurant .
Both of them gave me same experience, in terms of flavours, service and ambience.
Tonight me and my roommates went for diner and we were delighted by Starters:Dahi kabab my all time fav and my Tunday Kabab : I tried it for the first and it was heavenly melts in mouth spices perfectly balanced , its my new fav just loved .Highly recommended.
Service was awsome .
Ambience is Sahi and one of the best place if u r planning a special diner with ur loved onces.
Neha Akhtar
The restaurant is a mirror of nawab style.. the ambience gives u the feeling of a palace dinning hall. The dim light n the decor r fascinating.. coming to food.. it was delicious..
I went thr bcz of my frnd’s recommendation.. and his wrds were true. The place s worth a visit..
Satheesh
I visited this restaurant last week. First of all, half of what is listed in the menu was unavailable. we ordered a few starters based on their recommendation for spicy options, and werent happy with the quality of food. Not been a great experience.
Aravind Kodam
A royal ambience hotel to check in the centre of city, With a luxurious seating and so spacious (Paisa Zyda meharbani zyada) but cant comment much on food bcoz i ordered for Chicken kebab which was ok and one more starters(left to waiters choice) and muttoon biryani (Good). And place is so spacious that we have to search for the waiter to give an second order,
Overall, A royal experience to the customer( Being khaan)
Raghu Veer
I had high expectations with respect to buffet since the kebabs they serve at A la carte are soo yummy.I loved the fish kebabs especially and the butter chicken with rotis were pretty good.Though when it comes down to buffet nothing from starters to desserts are any good. The buffet is not worth the money you spend here i would sincerely advise that you look for an alternative incase you are planning for a buffet.

The food tastes great at khaan saab
The ambience can extraordinary.
The prices are reasonable according to tastes.
Authentic North indian restaurant.
Debashree
When you enter into the restaurant, you'll probably get floored by its grand entry and spacious nature in an overcrowded mall. The huge elephant statue, wall paintings, lamps, cutlery etc. gives you a good feeling. But it's only till here that the pleasant feeling remains.

Once you get seated you realise that the ac cooling was not very effective. It was being complained by people at other tables too, but the staff wasn't able to rectify it. A closer look at the furniture on which you're seated, you'll realise that it's worn out and hasn't been maintained well.

When you go through the menu, you find pretty decent options of food and hope that the food is good, so when you check with the staff about some of the items, all they're able to say is: This one's sweet, This one's spicy, This one's sweet and spicy. They're unable to get into specifics and explain what kind of preparation it would be.

We thus ended up trying the ones which we would order at any other regular place, just to mitigate the risk. We ordered Paneer Kalimirch, Dal Khan Saab, Laccha Parantha, Naan, Paneer Kulcha and Shikanji.

Paneer in the curry and the Kulcha was sour and wasn't tasting good at all. The one in the Kulcha was almost stale. Laccha Parantha and Naan were thick and thus were still raw from inside. Dal Khan Saab which is Dal Makhani was the only face saver for the restaurant. It was something that was well prepared and with a nice consistency. I can't even describe how bad the Shikanji was. I would probably not have complained had they even given me the regular lime water with sugar and salt mixed. I don't know what this was, that I had.

The staff lacked experience and presence of mind. They'd sometime bring someone else's order onto our table and would take ours elsewhere. They wouldn't even pay attention to their guest and if they intend to order anything else. Each time you had to look around here and there and wave your hands to get someone's attention.

On the price front, the prices were not as high as you'd expect at such places. Yet for the taste that we got, the food wasn't worth the money we paid.
Nikita Jetani
It's recognised as a must-visit eatery in Hyderabad by the Incredible India campaign. So had high expectations from it and wanted to visit it at least once while I was still in Hyderabad. And got lucky not once but twice. Both the times it was my friends' treat.

The ambience is royal but the lighting makes it look like dull. Didn't feel royal about the service though. The food wasn't good either after setting high expectation due to reasons mentioned above.

We didn't have any choices with the soup, only one in veg(Tamatar Tulsi Shorba) and that too was icky. We mainly had veg dishes which were average. In short, nothing great about the food.

Caution Zomato Gold Users! Don't order drinks! Just don't. Once you reveal that you want to use Zomato gold for drinks, only basic ones remain available and pricy drinks go out of stock. And even the basic ones tastes like cough syrup!(Tried LIIT and margherita)
The food saved our evening. All the items we ordered were lipsmacking. Be it veg or nonveg dish. Plus they have prompt service.
So overall, good place for food just don't order any drinks.

Ambience: Great. Murgh malai Chandi kabab was good. Mutton fried in Tawa was alright. Chicken biryani was alright. Expected spectacular dishes but the dishes we ordered were OK. Will probably try the Rann next time around.

I visited this place yesterday for lunch. The theme of this restaurant is set to give the customer a royal feel and treat ( not really though ).

The place lacks liveliness ( may be due to dull lighting and dull ambiance ). The seating is good and plenty enough, so you rarely need to reserve a table for yourself.

Coming to food, I had Paya shorba soup and Murgh makhani chops for starters. Chops had just amazing taste but the soup lacked some crispness that it should have had. And, for the main course I had some mutton biryani. It's really hard to get the taste and feel of Hyderabadi biryani and Khaan saab is no exception for this. I couldn't enjoy my biryani.

Overall,

An overpriced restaurant with least attention towards taste of some regular dishes.

Food and service - 3/5.

Starting from royal ambience to luscious food.It had everything. In starters Murgh chop dakhni kebab is a must try .The tawa mutton biryani was appetising as well. And yes if you're planning for a family lunch or dinner this would be a decent and perfect place..Overall
Ambience-4/5
Service-4.5/5
Food-4/5

Nice place to sit and chill but all you experience here is your food cooling down till your order comes
Ordered a dish which was served hot .. tasty indeed but the wait never ended for the next round of butter naan's and tandoori roti
The service was too slow
I don't know if the khaan Saab guys were going down to the food court to get their coke cause they took forever to deliver us the coke
Coming to the food
Served hot ? yes
Tastey ? Yes
Quantity ? Yes
Presentation ? Could be better
Otherwise it's a nice place to have a friendly gathering and have a gala time with your pals
Do visit though I liked the food :)

Food is really good, but it takes a lot of time to prepare it, after you order the wait is 30 mins or more. I hope that time can be reduced. Overall ambiance is really good. I love this place.

Khan Saab is such an old glorious restaurant that it's not really required to write a long review anymore. The place surely has a Royal fragrance and the older it gets the authentic it looks. Food is good and very very reasonable. I loved the mutton biriyani with a lovely royal zafron fragrance and a little tinge of sweetness. This distinguishes the taste of biriyani from the rest of the common Hyderabadi Biriyani places. Paneer quality was good enough and overall quantity was pretty good. I could only find a gap when it came to desserts. As it is popularly said, alls well that ends well, to a foodie a lip smacking dessert is absolutely a must have. I could not find a right choice here.

Amiable dinning place with congenial ambiance & treatmemt worth visitng once at GVK mall Banjara hills, If you are hyderabadi food lover, Food will be more distraction than a desire, the prices are bit high, we ordered Tawa mutton biryani, Murgh malai chandi kebab, murgh khandahar with punjabi kulchas. Apart from kebabs other items are below par.

rotis were good and fresh considering it was home delivered, but the paneer butter masala was like a basic ready to eat like dish and pretty sweet

Nice palak paneer curry, but the raita. If this is how a premium restaurant prepares a raita, then I would recommend the chef to go home and learn the basics from her mom.
Rekha Subodh
very less quantity

Very bad experience at khaan saab.. Waiter behaviour to customer is very rude.. Asked him not to put coriander in dish due to allergies but got the dish with coriander.. Food taste was also not good.. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant
Monish Thatraju
Nice way of fooling the people with giving a small portion of dessert.. Can't see the dessert worth 170rs..
