Review Ohm - Hyderabad

Rajith Krishna Valluru
The dinner buffet was well spread with a plethora of items . The tummy was full until the starters were done . Soup was OKish . Skipped the main course and plunged onto the desserts . Impressive since all the desserts were glorious .

I tried the black pepper tofu and chicken udon noodles here. Despite my enjoyment of the cuisine, the cost seemed exorbitant for the quality & portion of the food that was served. Though I would certainly endorse the food itself, the overall worth of the meal was unsatisfactory for such ordinary dishes. You would get more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Located in Avasa Hotel, Ohm has a pretty luxe ambience. The red-black interiors with spotlighting just add to the whole dining experience. Whether you’re a large group dining in or a family that needs a private dining space, Ohm has all of them. They serve both a la carte and a set menu – kaiseki. The set menu is a recent addition to the offerings at Ohm and is available only for dinner and there are two variants of it – kaiseki – ichi, kaiseki -ni. Unfortunately, both of these are non-vegetarian offerings. The good part though is that they can make a vegetarian version too. The meal started with a serving of hot Jasmine tea. We started with a cheese cigar as an amuse-bouche, it was like our spring roll with a cheesy filling. The next time that was served was soup Spinach Edamame soup. This soup had a striking green colour and a very thick consistency. Then there was a slice of tomato with avocado on it. It looked pretty neat and tasted good too. The next thing we had was Dimsums in Laksa soup. Laksa is a rich coconut-based soup that is mostly a base for noodles in parts of Southeast Asia. The bao that was served to me had crispy Shitake mushroom along with some veggies. Three treasure rice. It was served with a chunk of tofu along with crispy beans with rice. It was a complete meal in itself. We were served a Coconut Panacotta with Passion Fruit gel. The Pannacotta was perfectly done and had the right consistency and texture. The tangy passion fruit gel complimented the rich coconut flavours well. So, if you’re looking for a restaurant that serves authentic Asian cuisine in Hyderabad, visit Ohm at Hotel Avasa, Madhapur. You’ll not be disappointed for sure! The meal is priced is at Rs 1800+ for the set menu, and the dishes justify the price.

This is the second time we've visited Ohm for the lasting menu, and the food was so fabulous, we will certainly visit again. There are two options, both of which had very different starting dishes. The soup was flavourful but so filling, I had to ask for the main course to be parcelled for home. The dimsums were lovely too. And the dessert was out of the world. Will certainly recommend it to anyone. Service is a little slow on weekends because of the crowd, so best go on a weekday if possible.

Must visit for the ambience as well as cuisine. It's Asian cuisine and ala carte. You will be presented with a welcome sweet dish and tea which was just awesome. We had clay pot chicken and fried rice and both were good in taste. Service provided by Pinky was commendable and really appreciate that.

Eaten with four and the food was delicious. Upon arrival a piece of watermelon which was very tasty. Several entrees such as Dim Dum Chicken Kothe and Suhi. Stir fry Bok choy with bamboo shoot as main course. Friendly service. There is dim light inside. Some candles inside the table would be nice. Recommended!

The best eye-catching ambience overloaded place to visit with a savouring food. Loved it to the fullest. And kudos to the service team 👍

Visited for B'day celebration with family. Awesome food. We always like desert. Served by Indranel and Shivam. Service was pleasant. Nice way to spend evening dinner. Quite and cosy. An update: they brought very nice cake with lemon cream. Awesome taste. Very light cake. Yummy. Chef has found delicate balance of sugar with cream. Congratulations. Visited on 17-Jan (again 5 ⭐ experience) Menu is changed to Mekong and this was again brilliant execution of dishes that makes us keep coming back. Served by Pragya and Prayansh and Chef Sukumar, it was again very pleasent and sumptuous experience. Sliced Lamb starter and Fish with xo sauce in main course were something that were so good and balanced and yet delightfully flavoured...

Well curated menu with delicious food and friendly service. Enjoyed the pad thai noodles, butter garlic prawns, passionfruit mojito and tender coconut panacotta. Highly recommend the panacotta, one of the best I've tried.

Ohm is probably my favorite pan-Asian restaurant in town. The menu is not too long but offers good variety, the ingredients are of great quality and the cooking is very well done. Pan Asian cuisine at Ohm has no equal in Hyderabad. The service was quick and polite, but it was a slow day and we were one of two tables at the restaurant for lunch. On busier days it can take a little longer to get your food. The ambience is unfortunately no longer as nice as it once was, with stains on the sofa we sat on and signs of age showing. Some renovations may be in order. Also, the music playing was far from relaxing or ambient and I had to ask twice for it to be turned down. Overall, I highly recommend checking it out if you enjoy Asian food. Oh and do try the absolutely humongous prawns and save room for dessert.

One of the finest Asian brunch in Hyderabad. The set menu is elaborate and very well made. Every dish was excellent. Excellent service

Amazing food. Expensive, but worth the experience.

Its a nice multi cuisine restaurant which is inside avasa hotel. The hotel itself is amazing and so is this restaurant. I tried their sushi, shiitake mushroom bun and dimsums. All were pretty good but the mushroom bun would be my favourite. One thing that i did not like was that the restaurant was too dark for a fine dining restaurant experience. It was a night club which needed that dark ambience.
Sri Krishna Venigalla
A good place to visit. Slightly formal, definitely felt out of place in T shirt and jeans. The service was excellent (Mr.Chaitanya) The complimentary amuse bouche(watermelon wrapped in cabbage) and jasmine tea were excellent. The sushi was on point. Chicken Katsu is excellent. Desert was warm date pudding which was excellent. 2 things prevented a 5 star rating. One- Wasabi being watered down...a restaurant of this caliber should have proper Wasabi where just a dash adds taste, not a weakened version. Second- The addition of ice cream on the date Pudding which didn't pair well with it.

Quite, clean and nice place. No crowds. Food is delicious. Some dishes are modified to locally available ingredients. Good service.

Excellent food and service Went to dinner with wife and 2 daughters after a long time. The ambience was cozy. The food was really good and stood out. The Chef gave us many options and guided us well about the menu. We started of with Tom yum veg soup and Chicken and Prawn soup. The Veg soup was just perfect and kids liked the Non Veg soup The Wasabi prawns was too good. Though was a bit apprehensive about the Wasabi sting, it was actually a taste enhancer and no sting was there. The water chestnut and lotus stem was delicious The crab preparation by the chef was tasty and since only the meat is served, no adventure of breaking was there. The salmon sushi and prawn tempura sushi tasted excellent and the kids loved it. Edamame truffle oil dumpling was also good. The shrimp dumpling came last and by that time the taste buds had its full. Had warm date pudding with caramel sauce without ice cream. A fitting way to end a delicious meal The Chef Sukumar deserves a pat

My first visit to this restaurant was quite surprising. The staff was very courteous and very warm with their support.<br/><br/>Now coming to the food.<br/><br/>I will visit them once again hungry for more.<br/><br/>I believe that should be enough.

Empty Place, inexperienced staff, ultra spicy food and Saturday night busted

Ohm Restaurant - serene calm and delicious experience!<br/><br/>I hada cozy lunch over here, with an office buddy, and it was a wonderful experience.<br/><br/>The service was polished, and food was exquisite - especially the green coconut curry. Do give it a try.<br/><br/>Would love to visit again some day ~ ~ ~

Wen here last week as one of my friends recommended this. Well, to begin with ordered a veg manchow soup with starters which were quite nice. But I was no very happy with the sour sticky rice served with vegetable main course. Sticky rice was still good when compared to the accompaniment we ordered. I should have ordered dumplings perhaps next time. But let me tell you it's not easy on the pocket. The place, however, has a great cozy ambience for those quiet conversations. Hospitality is good. Here goes my rating...<br/><br/>Food: 3/5<br/>Value for Money: 3/5<br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Hospitality: 4/5<br/><br/>So, If you are around hitec city area and looking for a non crowded place for office meetings and willing to shell out a little extra bucks then this is the place for you.

I've only been here once so far so maybe it's early days, but I had a really good experience. I enjoyed the starters and small plates so much that I never did get around to ordering anything from the main course menu. With the exception of the 2 dishes I ordered from the Robatayaki & Teppanyaki menu which I would rate a 4, everything else was exquisitely made and tasted delicious. The servers were attentive and the place offers a nice ambience with the right amount of privacy. Would I go back? You betcha!

Visited Ohm last night to celebrate husband’s birthday and boy were we blown away by the impeccable service and food! A last minute decision but certainly one of the best one we made! We were given a good private spot to dine and our server Srinivas was always around but not intrusive to ensure that we were well taken care of. The highlight is the food of course. We ordered sushi, gyoza, sticky rice, chicken in garlic sauce, and Japanese cheese cake for dessert. Everything was fabulous! All in all a great experience...will definitely be going back for seconds!

This place is just awesome. Great food n pleasant ambience. One of those few places in Hyderabad which has sushi in the menu card. The price is high but worth trying. Portions are small . A very good and extensive pan Asian menu.

Ambience is quite amazing <br/>Very polite and friendly staff really gd at explaining the dishes to choose as it’s much of Japanese and Thai <br/>Tasty food ( must try the lotus stems and the original salmon is avail ) <br/>Fast service <br/>One definitely will enjoy

The restaurant is plain but very suave. You won’t miss out on feeling royal.<br/>Coming to the dishes,<br/><br/>Katsu chicken - it’s just fried slices of chicken , you could skip if you want to.3/5<br/><br/>Unagi uramaki sushi - close to teriyaki sushi , doesn’t let you down.4/5<br/><br/>Edamame black rice roll - I ordered it out of curiosity for black rice and it was lovely.<br/>4/5<br/><br/>Oven yaki lobster - best lobster I ever had in Hyderabad! 6/5<br/><br/>Glazed pork chop - the pork was cooked really fine and was beautifully caramelised. 5/5<br/><br/>And also cabernet savignon for the table cause i love reds. They don’t serve it by the glass though.<br/>

Fabulous sushi, brilliant starters, and amazing desserts. Can't comment on the mains, filled up far too much on the entrees.<br/><br/>The service is superb and the ambiance lovely. Would recommend without any hesitations beyond those imposed by purse strings.

Came in today with a large group of people and saw a huge bandicoot zip past me coming in from the kitchen doors, it ran up the wall and into the ceiling decor.... Unbelievable!

Food is not up to the mark here. Been there for team party and got disappointed with the food they served us. Drinks here are good but meat is not fresh.
Savitr Sastri
Had a wonderful experience at Ohm. The black rice, edamame, asparagus roll was wonderfully different and the sashimi platter was very nicely put together with salmon, tuna and yellow tail. Interesting cocktails as well. Will definitely come again.

We went here to celebrate the birthday of my wife and had a memorable evening . Well as usual I always look for places with good ambience and Ohm exceeded my expectations. It was brilliantly done which gives an authentic oriental feel to the place , the lighting, bamboo decor and all ..The service is expected to be good for the place and doesn't disappoint ..But most of all the food is amazing ..I loved the lotus stem thing..in fact all the dishes were perfect..Have been there a couple of times after that and it has always been pleasant the experience..<br/>Food 4.0<br/>Service 5.0<br/>Ambience 5.0

The food is awesome. We especially like the wasabi prawns. The staff is excellent. However go only if you have plenty of time to spare as the food takes it own sweet time to get to your table

Started our course with small bites, Sushi, Sashimi. They good varieties of Japanese delicacies. I will definitely suggest this place incase anyone is visiting Hitech city, Hyderabad.
TheF&BGuy
Good ambience, the place has a nice dim lighting. Great place for a couple. The food was okay, the portions sizes felt a bit small but for the price they were worth it. Would recommend if your looking for a decent Asian meal for a nominal fare.

I have been here with bunch of colleagues and we really enjoyed the food. Though the price is high when compared.. quality and taste of food is good.

Went here for dinner. The ambience was really good and the staff was very nice and friendly. The food was also very good. It’s a nice place to go out on dinner with family n friends

Quite content to have dined at this ballroom-cum-restaurant which served amazing South Indian and revered Hyderabadi delicacies. Mounted on the median level of #HotelAvasa, Ohm provides solace to one's appetite, which could be possibly undone thanks to the rifting flavours across the city. The food served at #Ohm is a classic example of how dishes get influenced by flavours from across the nation, yet the authenticity remains intact.<br/><br/>Having visited this establishment as part of my cousin's marriage reception, the courteousness by the butlers was quite heart warming. The initial starters of #LahoriMurgTikka, #LahsunMurgMasala, #SaltnPepperVeggies, #PaprikaFishFingers, and #PaneerTikka helped work up an appetite for people present among the audience.<br/><br/>As members from different families kept teeming in, I took the opportunity to explore the main course, which was a decent spread of #Hyderabadi dishes, well known among the locals. Some notable recommendations are the #Mamadiripala #Papalu (A Yellow Lentils based dish!), Fried Okra with Cashewnuts, Paneer Lababdar, Veg Biryani, #ChickenChettinadu, #AndhraStyleFishCurry, and the super famous and delicious #Mutton #DumBiryani. Perfectly spiced, all dishes left a mark on my voracious appetite, barring the Mutton Biryani, which didn't live up to the hype. The meat was good, however the masala didn't do justice to the well cooked rice, yet I must admit everyone else did sing paens about it. #VariedTastes 😋 🙏<br/><br/>Thank you, #HotelAvasa for ensuring that everyone went home, with their hunger pangs satiated. Almost everyone from both sides of the family ate to their heart's content. The folks even left space for some #HotChocolateBrownie, #Rabadi with #HotelJalebis and some freshly squeezed #watermelonjuice and #GoasDelight! 🥙😉🤗<br/><br/>Keep up the good work team! #ChaalaBagundi, and #Meals Super Aayunthi! Do dine at #HotelAvasa and experience authentic #Hyderabadi dishes like none other. #FoodForEveryone #AwesomeSpread #BuffetforEveryone indeed! 😘🍗✌️😊

A very calm and classy place. <br/><br/>All you can get here is Authentic Japanese or Indonesian food with the perfect ambiance. They serve you with a diced watermelon which comes garnished with cheese and coriander as complimentary. So going with the menu, we ordered sushi, the second one on the menu which was sticky rice coated with salmon and crab meat. Absolutely delicious, but you just get 4 pieces with 2-3 small pieces of ginger and a pinch of avocado for Rs 650. This was disappointing. Then comes the Pan fried chicken hunan noodles. The quantity was ok and the chicken pieces came quoted with egg.Taste was good.  Lastly the chocolate truffle, this was the best. Right quantity and quality. Should surely try this.

Amazing starters.<br/>wasabi prawns and chongking chicken were superb.<br/>the service by Mr. Akhil was out of the world.<br/>the place is well maintained and neat.<br/>will definitely recommend it for a quiet meal.

one of the best foods ever treat to ur tummy place has good vibes bring it on guys love the place beautiful to ur taste buds visit Japan in Hyderabad
Apoorva .
Such a great place. The food was scrumptious. Must try Ika tempura, glazed pork chop and prawn sushi! I have tried Porkchop at many restaurants in Hyderabad, but this one made me happier. The pork meat fell off the bone as I touched it with the fork. It was properly cooked and served well. It was hot but not burning which means it was the right temperature. Ambience was lovely and the staff made our night special by surprising us with a chocolate glazed anniversary cake. All credit to Ms. Huthasini for making it extra special! Highly recommend this place. Will definitely go back!

Think Japanese think Ohm. The food is yummylicious. The plating is no less than some sort of artwork. The service is good and the bearers greet you with a smile. The soup Kabocha squash shrimp is the one of best soups ever. Starters butter garlic crab and the sushi are simply finger licking. Oven yaki lobster as main course was worth every bite. It was the first time i visited and now has become one of my favourites!!! The only tiny bit of suggestion I have is, if the options on desserts could be increased. Presently it seems limited. Thanks!

My all time fv place for tom yum soup.. n the <br/>Wonderful service ... one must try chicken dim sim as well .... but I love to visit this place jut for my Tom Yum Soup 🍜

The food is absolutely delicious. One of the best Oriental restaurant in Hyderabad. Friendly staff and good ambiance. I would give it a 9 out of 10

The place is a bit dark not sure why, dimmed ambience and dark ambience have a difference Ohm should understand this. Food wise OK but somehow service is very slow may be a tradition of 5star restaurant. Well the order placed and served did not matched even after the waiter verified the oder twice once while taking the order and again repeating after sometime. The man seemed to be utterly confused. Did not get the menu card for the beverage either. We ordered for Tiramisu but they bought some Belgian cake. I expect much more professional behaviour while you are serving food. Remember I go for an experience not just to eat. Coming to food yes the crab dish was very delicious and so was the noddles but the duck was a bit hard, could have been softer. <br/>Food 4.5/5<br/>Service 3/5<br/>Ambience 4/5

I booked a table here for our sixth anniversary dinner. I must say, it's one of the best dining experiences we had. The ambience was perfect, food was sumptuous and the service was brilliant!<br/>I had requested for a corner table and also mentoined that it is our wedding anniversary, and a complimentary cake and candle light was arranged.<br/>Flawless execution of everything.<br/>The food - we ordered a veg sushi. I think it was called Jalapeno cream cheese uramaki. Mouth watering! We then ordered few drinks, Long island ice tea and Bloody brain. Followed by this was our main course, comprising of Pan fried noodles, Clay pot chicken and Basil fried rice. The main course was WOW! We couldn't stop eating but had to save some space for the complimentary chocolate cake!!<br/>The staff was very friendly, made us extremely comfortable and also provided food suggestions when we had no idea what to pick.<br/>We will be back for more!! Great job , Avasa!! We highly recommend this place.
Aurosikha Priyadarshini
The place looks like an artwork and coming to the food it is breathtakingly amazing. We tried their butter garlic crab. It was creamy and buttery and tasted heaven.
Adithya Lanka
Extremely good service and even better taste!<br/><br/>Earlier, I didn't have a good impression about Avasa for a long time for no particular reason. Everything changed today with one visit. Don't expect harsh flavors- everything is subtle. Sit back and savour the flavors-.
ED
Date pudding and jaggery coconut ice cream is to die for! So deliciously different.<br/><br/>However, vegetarian starters and main course can have more options.
Purba Mukherjee
Extremely nice stay. Avasa has the best breakfast spread I have ever had. The interiors are done with minimalist sense of styling. Would love to go back.

This is an expensive place with a good ambience and the best food!!<br/>The veg and non veg varieties are equally good and yummy! <br/>Do give it a try!👍

Perfect ambience n excellent service. Food I find is ok ! It needs a lot of improvement. U can find good variety of pan Asian dishes which have authentic taste. <br/><br/>Food 3/5<br/>Ambience 5/5<br/>Service 5/5

When a friend visits you after a long time and shares the love to try new food, then drag him/her to this place. Undoubtedly the best restaurant experience in HYD so far for me. The ambiance was amazing. The music soothing and the staff was amicable too in suggestions for the veggies like me and drinks too. Their cuisine is perfect be it those dim sums, or mushrooms, or the Hakka noodles. It was perfect. Even the complimentary dish from the staff the chili watermelon loved it. I could not try out their desserts because of the shortage of time but it definitely was my best Pan Asian restaurant experience here.
Arshita Agarwal
Decent place with great interiors and an interesting choice of lighting! Pleasant color schemes and good service. Food was good, if not more. The Mongolian rice were nice but the cheese corn bake was a disappointment. Definitely not the best food I've had.<br/><br/>Food- 3.5/5<br/>Ambience- 4.5/5<br/>Service- 4/5

not the first time, but definitely not the best experience.<br/><br/>except the Veg sushi, everything was mediocre  ... sad experience.<br/><br/>had to send a dish back too, lamb was bad.<br/><br/>this place is actually known for sushi but crab sushi was bad.<br/><br/>i remember having best cod fish here long back.<br/><br/>hope it was just a bad day in the kitchen. <br/><br/>will go back and update...
Deepita Dey
It was my first visit last weekend to this place. Felt in love with the decor, set up etc and food obviously. They serve wide range of asian varieties, though on the expensive side, considering the quality of service. <br/>When you go out to eat in a place like this, great service or atleast good service in on your expectation list, because you know you will be served good food...<br/>If you rectified your service, you can be one of the best in hyderabad...
Jwalitha Matangi
Great decor and inviting ambience..One of the best PAN Asian restaurant... Courteous staff..was able to talk to Chef to get a customized meal!<br/><br/>Sushi lovers- this is the place to be!<br/>Starters were great...Also the Mocktails :)<br/><br/>Price - ⬆
Apoorva Parichha
Ahh. The ambience is perfect. Food is outstanding. Little pricey. I went twice there and have tried both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items and trust me you can't complain on the taste. They make really delicious food. Quantity is good as well. I will recommend to go in a group of 3 or 4 else you won't be able to try much items.
Ankita Shah
It is not everyday that you visit a restaurant like Ohm so when I did I made sure to try out all my favourites from the pan Asian cuisine that the place has to offer.<br/>Quickly speaking about the ambience and service - I think that's just a straight 5 so we can now move on to the food -<br/>Despite sushi being amongst my least favourite food choices, I gave it a shot. We went for a veg option with Mushroom sushi, a Prawn tempura sushi and also a Japanese special sushi topped with salmon roe. They were served with honey soy and wasabi dipping sauce. Well the sauce was quite delicious. Veg sushi turned out to be a favourite and definitely something unique. The ones with salmon roe might not appeal to everyone's taste but it was delicately assembled and looked absolutely marvellous.<br/>Next we also tried some fried wasabi prawns which were quite good. For main course we had noodles and thai yellow curry which was a bit disappointing since it was too spicy to be authentic.<br/>Coming to the desserts - opted for Jaggery coconut icecream, a Date pudding and a Black sesame creme brulee. All the desserts were super delicious but the creme brulee for me was a winner. Perfect rich flavors, soft texture and carefully torched light crispy exterior beautifully served with sesame and figs to win your heart towards the end of your meal.

Ambience was exotic, service was uncomplainable with very good and quiet staff. Asian cuisine was delicious which made my birthday cloud9 with my friends positive blessings on such a good place to hop at. My first visit at Ohm made me memorable.
Sathya Conjeevaram
I go there for my birthday just to eat sushi. They are the only place i have come across serving good sushi. Very well trained polite staff with enough knowledge on the dishes. Good variety of pan asian dishes. I have also tried their noodles and vegetarian dishes as well and they good. <br/>Definetely recommend. <br/>I would be happy if they bring in more sushi varieties in their menu. <br/>I will give it a 5 rating when their sushi equals that of KI Sushi in San Diego

OHM is undoubtedly one of the best Pan Asian restaurants in Hyderabad. At some point. they are way ahead in service, taking feedback and expertise in cooking than others. I love the dimsums that they make. The hunan style pork ribs are just out of the world and I love the wok style noodles that they make. Special call outs for the staffs working there. It takes a lot of training to be calm, polite and take care of your guests every time. Awesome is the word for OHM.

Love the place.. eat or order from here at least once a month.. A Good Pan Asian selection.. authentic flavors... a bit on the expensive side but worth it.. keep it Up !!!!!

We decided to head to Ohm for my birthday as I am fond of Asian cuisine. The place is well decorated with comfortable seating. The staff is extremely courteous and prompt. They give immense attention to the clients without intruding.<br/><br/>The watermelon cheese feta served in the beginning is novel. The food portions at Ohm are large - it makes sense to go in a group of 4 instead of 2 as you can try more dishes in a larger group.<br/><br/>The Dim Sums were not that great. The spring rolls were extremely well cooked and so was the main course.<br/><br/>
SaumyataM
Okay, so we visited this place on our anniversary, the hotel, restaurant, staff and ambiance is inviting. My good old fav "Hot & Sour Soup" was exquisite and tasted divine, we ordered some clay pot noodles, which was a total disappointment (served in a chipped off, greasy pot ) with a side of pan fried fish with greens, a meal savior. The staff is courteous and polite and tries really hard to give the guest a great dining experience. Unfortunately, the food can do with a lot of improvement to keep up with the competition around. Will, I visit again? Not Sure !
Simha Krishnamurthy
I have been a regular visitor to Ohm ( Right from the day it started) never before I was so disappointed with my experience . I and my spouse ordered a vegetarian Soup and we were served Chicken Soup all the more disappointment was they had listed in the bill as Chicken Soup (Which we never ordered). the soup was later replaced and I found it to be very hot (Spicy had extra peppers in it) . Not sure why anybody would prepare extra spicy soup ( After sipping once I put away my soup).   <br/><br/>The staff though courteous lacks experience in handling such situations .
Suvrojit Roy
love this place and the courtesy of staffs, good food specially chicken bao and sushi, spend your time with your loved one and don't miss their famous dessert jaggery ice cream. It's a 5 star experience!

Ohm, the name scared me as something pseudo and a PAN Asian cuisine is always dangerous dining territory in India! But we decided to make a high risk investment, something like the Surat Stock Exchange!<br/>Maybe it was the smiles of the cute North-eastern boys from Imphal that lured us in, or the confident grins of the well fed cook we saw proudly moving amongst the guests! So we dared to enter!<br/>That gamble proved to be worth the risk! First, this is one of the few new restaurants in the world that has thought of sound control and acoustics! You can actually hear your companions voices, make out the words and hold an intelligent conversation! That quality has been lost on the pee brains of restaurant interior design and limited horizons of hotel managers!<br/>Next the service was impeccable! Politeness abounds! <br/>The food here turned out to be amazing! The preparations were sensitive, delicate with exquisite taste! Things like avocado and iceberg wrapped in raw salmon Uramaki are Devine !<br/>They have Tiger Prawns, Cod, Scallops, Duck, Lobster, Shrimp, Pork, Beef and Lamb dishes! Now obviously I did not try all of these, or I would not be alive to write this review ! But these guys have "the stuff!"<br/><br/>I rate this as one of India's best restaurants!<br/>If you are in Hyderabad you must come here and enjoy the cuisine!
Mischamoomoo
Quite an enjoyable experience overall with service being attentive but not intrusive. I ordered the BBQ ribs and a noodles dish which was equivalent to Pad Thai. <br/>I was given a watermelon, feta and chilli Amuse Bouche to start with which was unexpected but very enjoyable. The ribs looked great and the meat was quite tender but if I am to criticise the sauce was a little too sweet for me. I was however warned by the waiter that they were on the sweeter side. The main came soon after and was nice and hot. A selection of accompaniments was also provided to take the spice level to where ever you liked. I found the noodles to have good flavour but were a little too oily for my liking. <br/><br/>If ordering Wine - pour is not very generous and given expense would recommend against!<br/><br/>Overall an enjoyable meal. I would recommend anyone wishing to try and will likely go again myself to experience more of the dishes.
Rishav Sarkar
Restaurant decor was inviting..although service standards were not up to the mark. One doesn't expect to have to ask for a napkin in a restaurant that claims to be of such a standard. The shiitake bao and sushi were very good as was the Hunan spare ribs. The biggest letdown was the "clay pot " chicken. An oily and rather conventional stir fry whose only connection to a clay pot was that it was used as a serving bowl.
Lynn
Lovely food. Amazing ambience. have been there for buffet lunch n buffet dinner .the spread is great specially the dinner buffet. Price is 1500/- for 2persons.

Not so great - for a vegetarian I guess. Ambiance was great though. We ordered 2 starters and 1 of them was good (crispy lotus stem tossed with spicy plum sauce) and the other was OK. But the quantity was less. Wok tossed noodles was good and Fried rice was OK - it would have been better if there were more vegetables in that.

Hands down among the top 3 asian restaurants in hyderabad. It has a modern & contemporary decore with dim lighting. But its food is what steals the show. Barbecue shiitake mushroom bao and creamy cheese and jalapeno iceberg sushi are just amazing. The bao filling was a bit sweet but with the sauses and chutney that they give it's just perfect.<br/><br/>After the spectacular starters the main course definitely didn't dissapoint. Ginger bean sprout fried rice was one of the best rice dishes i have had in any asian restaurant. Couple that with Wok fried noodles with seasonal vegetables and hunan style stir fried chinese greens and you will be a satisfied person. The service was a bit too slow but that is the case with any 5 star hotel.

Great ambience , great staff and the best oriental food in hyd. The last time i was there they kinda messed up but then more than made up for it. Special thanks to Mr Raviraj for making the occasion memorable

I was here with my family during Christmas.<br/>The food is divine.<br/>The never ending number of desserts made me giddy in a good way. I have never been confused when it comes to food, but this time I was.<br/>

Gosh this place is having so good ambience. Had been here with family to celebrate my niece birthday. We got a beautiful cake and their buffet will really make you dumbstruck because they have got a big hall and never ending list of food items. Their pasta and grilled prawns were so yummy. Really a good place but it is expensive!! Worth the price.

Went there for the company dinner and loved the ambience. The service could be improved a bit as it was slow. The food served was excellent, especially the Wasabi prawns and Watermelon cubes.<br/>Ambience 4.5/5<br/>Service 3.5/5<br/>Food 4/5

Enough lighting and the courteous staff. <br/><br/>They served watermelon with Feta.<br/><br/>The wok tossed veg noodles were awesome to my taste. I did mix vinegar and the chilli sauce to match my taste buds😊😊loved it.<br/><br/>Must go place in hyderabad. Don't think twice just go ☺☺

This is located right there in the lobby of Avasa just beside reception.<br/>Lobby looks so grand as this is a star rated property.<br/>Ambiance in the restaurant is so elegant with right amount of light.it is so soothing.<br/>Although this is not a huge place the arrangement of tables and partitions make it look a little big.<br/>Service is impeccable. Staff were so pro-active but not intrusive.<br/>Food was awesome . jasmine tea and water melon cube were served as complimentary.cube was a unique preparation it was dripped in sweet chilli sauce along with cheese.......so tasty.<br/>We had penang laksa soup.oriental veggies and noodled cooked in coconut milk.it was awesome with all flavours blasting in mouth.<br/>For mains we had clay pot chicken and five treasure garlic basil fried rice cooked with sticky jasmine rice.<br/>So delicious that we have finished till the last morsel.<br/>Only let down was portion size were a little small<br/><br/>

I was treated at this place for my birthday. We absolutely loved the experience. Ambience was perfect.. We got an elevated corner, which offered us privacy. We had a waiter assigned just to cater to us. He was very polite and always around for any need. Food was great! Ordered soup, fried chicken with mayo, sushi, fried noodles.. All were perfect, with the right consistency, taste and even temperature 😮😮 talking about temperature, the ac was even set in such way that u don't freeze or sweat ur ass off, just at the perfect temp. Of course price wise it is expensive but definitely worth it for spcl occasions!

The best thing about Ohm is its ambience. Very contemporary and tends to have a soothing effect. <br/>Although the food was presented well and tasted good, I didn't think it to be standing out from other such offerings. <br/>Also it has very limited options for vegetarians which is a big disappointment. <br/><br/>I didn't think there was anything wrong with the place but didn't think it to be great either. There's cope for improvement. <br/><br/>

Interiors give you the cosy and comfy feeling. The lighting and colors are very soothing for a evening dinner. The table setting is is very elegant. Courteous staff, prompt in orders and service. <br/><br/>Appetizing plating of food. The portion sizes to flavor balance is goodThe fruit welcome starter was unique and fresh - watermelon slice, with a sprinkle of spice and vinegar and little bit of cheese .<br/>Dimsum/Dumpling platter - 2 pieces of 4 varieties. Dumpling wraps are thin but can still hold their shape and not chewy. the wrap were slightly colored which gave a variation appearance. Side sauces complimented the dish - its a must try dish<br/>Salmon sushi - Soya sauce was one the best i have had, it balanced the sushi, wasabi was subtle and not very sharp. The sushi has good textures. Salmon tasted fresh<br/><br/>Grilled Stake with mushroom pockets - Stake was cooked to a perfect medium. Sauce had a very nice flavor and consistency. Mushroom pocket on the side was avg, but have to appreciate how the pocket made of egg was so delicately made and plated.<br/>Vanila Ice cream with daarsan - light and crisp fried flat noodles tossed in honey. subtle flavors were nice finish to the meal. ice cream was good.

Love this place! The best spread for the best price. I have been there for breakfast, lunch and Dinner.<br/><br/>Things to definitely try - Waffles (breakfast), Salmon (lunch & Dinner) and the fig and honey ice cream (desserts)

No. of people: 5<br/><br/>DISHES ORDERED: <br/><br/>Starters: sushi - cream cheese and avocado, avocado and cucumber, tofu; crispy shiitake and enoki mushrooms, steamed veg dim sums<br/><br/>Main Course: 2 x pan fried noodles, garlic fried rice, Hunan vegetables<br/><br/>Dessert: Date pudding with vanilla ice cream<br/><br/>SERVICE: Since we knew the restaurant management quite well, the service was excellent. We were first seated near the entrance and upon our request the staff generously obliged us to shift us to a table of our preference. Even though the food is known to be served quite slowly here, upon request all the dishes were served quite fast.<br/><br/>THE FOOD: I had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and had quite a lofty expectation. I must admit the crispy shiitake mushroom starter was excellent. Slightly sweet and very crispy served with a fried potato mesh - yum. It reminded me (ironically) of some very street food-ish manchurian that I used to eat when I was a kid. The sushi was also very good - some of the best veg sushi I've had his far. Same goes for the dim sum.<br/>The main course, unfortunately, was a slight let down. The garlic rice was quite bland, the pan fried noodles were ok, but it had a lot of pepper - a little too spicy for my palette. And the Hunan vegetables, once again, were a bit spicier than I liked and were slightly lacking on flavor.<br/>The dessert however was absolutely brilliant. The date pudding was made to perfection and I had no complaints here.<br/><br/>THE VERDICT: Ohm is a good restaurant with very courteous service. If only the mains were improved a bit, I would happily give it a 4 on 5. Would I recommend it? Yes I would.<br/><br/>TIPS: Book in advance as weekends can get crowded, if you'd like to be served fast do mention it to the waiter and do try the date pudding - it's an absolute peach (haha, date peach...get it??)

Asian cuisine is what is served here. We were out for a business dinner and found it vacant so walked in. Courteous staff members, trying to help you with their complex menus. I liked the appetisers and the rest wasn't even worth remembering.

Been to Ohm recently after going over some good reviews on Zomato.I was pleased with the ambiance and the dim light set up.We booked a table in advance and got the elevated seating in one corner which was quiet.<br/>Got the complimentary water melon cube which i instantly liked it for its refreshing taste and the jasmine tea.<br/>For the starters,we went on to order the famous wasabi prawns and a chicken/fish(don't recall) dish.Did not find the taste to match up to my taste buds but it was fine. The other starter was flavorful.<br/>For the main course, had the cambodian fried rice and red thai curry with chicken. The fried rice tasted unique and delicious. The curry was flavorful, creamy and lip smacking.<br/>For the desserts, tried the ginger ice cream with sweet noodles and date pudding. Both tasted very good.<br/>Service was prompt and very good.Price on a slightly higher side.<br/>Overall,worth trying for pan asian food.

It's on a official visit we had been here at Avasa. Ambience looks good. Coming to food I havent felt so amazing but its okay. Pasta was a quiet hard, senses as if its not totally cooked. Overall an okay experience.

It was the first time I've been to this restaurant with my family...we were not much familiar to the pan Asian cuisine...<br/>I informed the person Ivo who took my order about it and he did really suggest very delicious food to us..we started with wasabi prawns and crispy lamb starter they were mind blowing...then we were suggested Singapore fried rice and shrimp fried for main course we loved it all and choco pudding for desserts...it was a really great experience of fine dinning for me with peaceful ambience and dimmed lighting...<br/>I advice the readers to try it once if you are expecting a fine dining experience along with the cool looking tissues and even the lotus tea which is served complimentary...

Some of the best pan Asian cuisine in the area. Ambience is nice too. Overpriced though. The range of pan Asian cuisine is extensive. Not sure if there's this kinda range in and around

This place deserves to be the best serving pan Asian! <br/>The chef's made sure that every dish is blended perfectly. Only complaint is mock tails, need some improvement!

One of the best places to visit in Hyd (Hitech city area). What an Ambience ! truly mesmerizing. Everything is perfect here ranging from service to food. The mocktails served here are a special attraction. The food is very tasty and your tongue will never forget its taste. <br/>A must visit place without any second thought.<br/>Overall Rating - 4.7/5

We went to Ohm for dinner and came back pretty full! We started off with some Panco Fried Prawns. We were delighted at the freshness of the prawns and that they had not become rubber bullets even after deep frying. The way they flatten the prawns ensures that they are well fried, but still soft.<br/><br/>The main course was Cambodian Sea Food Fried, Singapore Sea Food Fried Rice and Chicken Claypot. The order was just as we wanted it to be. Light, yet spicy. All the spice came from the Chicken Claypot. If you make the mistake of thinking that the gravy just has a red color and wouldn't be that fiery, you are in for a revelation. It HOT!. The Singapore Fried Rice was something that we didn't expect. It is mostly plain Jasmine Rice topped with a velvety sauce; in our case it was a prawn sauce. Again, the prawns were melt-in-the-mouth variety and big, real big. The Cambodian Fried Rice had a taste I had had never before. It definitely had some red-chilli paste in it, but the good part was the crisp fried onions. Add to it some more great prawns and some greater fish chunks. The fried-rice has a reddish-brown tinge to it, but its not spicy. Mix it with some of the Claypot Chicken and you'll get your Indian taste buds going! After all of this we didn't have any space left for desserts, so we let it be!<br/><br/>The ambiance of the place is perfect for the calm and luxurious dinner, with the some very low volume oriental music. The mirror wall gives the place a great sense of space, although its not that big.<br/><br/>So, if everything was good, why take away that one point. That's for the staff. They are nice and very polite and take care of the food, but they seem to know pretty less about the food. When I was asked what was the difference between the 2 fried rices, our server was totally dumbstruck! I also asked if the fried rices were spicy, he said yes. What we got was not spicy at all. Its a different matter that we loved the rices as they were. I expect the waiting staff to know more, much more. Infact I expect them to know how exactly the stuff on the menu is made and be able to tell me. Its a Five Star after all!

Definitely a must eat restaurant if you're looking for authentic pan-Asian cuisine. Being a top foodie for Thai Food my friends suggested that I must try out this place. I went with the basics, some prawn dimsums, pad Thai, Thai green curry and steamed rice. They did not fail to impress me. It was just the perfect Thai food I had after years. The staff was courteous and the ambience was cozy and comforting! Definitely a great restaurant I'd suggest to everyone! :)<br/>

I will say that the Hotel is really nice. The decor to the restaurant is red & white. Sleek and clean. Not very big restaurant but it was nicely laid out some on main level some up one step. Loved the mixed of couches and chairs. Middle of table has a rotating section for the food serving. Server was very attentive. Food/Drinks came out as it should. The other couple we went with order Curry, noodles, and rice. Very tasty. I ordered Duck; which I thought it was too soupy with the sauce. Thought from the menu description that it was sliced on a plate not drowned in sauce. My husband ordered lamb and his was the same it was a very soupy sauce. Overall good, I'd go again. I hear dessert is good so next time I will save enough room for dessert.

This is a long overdue review of Ohm! <br/><br/>What a great place for Asian food! I am totally in love with Ohm, I don't know what took me so long to try this place. It is a real treasure.<br/><br/>The ambiance is just amazing; the decor, the lights; the elevated seating, the music, everything is impressive. Perfect place for a quiet and peaceful dinner. The service is also good, they were prompt and attentive. <br/><br/>This specialty restaurant is not just all about the looks, the food that we ordered were amazing too. After we got seated in one of the elevated tables, we were served a complimentary water melon cube stuffed with cream cheese and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. It sounded weird to me but when I had it, I was surprised, it was so refreshing.<br/><br/>We were a group of 5 and we ordered the following:<br/><br/>Wasabi Prawns: Ordered this after seeing the review of most of the foodies, it is indeed a must-try dish. The prawns were perfectly cooked and the wasabi coating was smooth; it was not very pungent and slightly sweet. We ordered second time as well cos it was yummy.<br/><br/>Chilly Prawns: This prawn item was also good. Fried prawns stir fried in onions, capsicum, garlic, chilli and soy sauce.<br/><br/>Salmon Uramaki: The ingredients was fresh, the taste was good but I have had better sushi than this.<br/><br/>Crispy Lotus stem: Another suggestion which i picked up from the reviewers, it was crispy and full of flavor.<br/><br/>Veg Dim sum platter: Although I do not prefer veg Dimsums but this one deserves a thumbs up.<br/><br/>For the main course, we ordered:<br/><br/>Claypot chicken: This dish was ok ok and can be done without<br/><br/>Beef tenderloin: The meat was so tender and juicy. It is cooked in soya based sauced, and would go very well with rice/noodles<br/><br/>Seafood Udon noodles: Amazing dish, thick wheat flour noodles in black bean sauce. Another dish which we ordered 2 portion.<br/><br/>Veg Singapore Rice noodles: This one tasted ordinary and can be passed.<br/><br/>Green Thai curry: Best Thai curry I ever had. It was not very thick but yet delicious and creamy, just they way I like it.<br/><br/>After eating this much food, we were too full to order desserts, besides the dessert section was not too appealing; maybe I felt that way because I was too stuffed. So to end the dinner we asked for the water melon cubes again which they gladly served; we prefered that over the ice creams and truffles.<br/><br/>This place is expensive but I would say it is totally worth it, you can choose to go to this place on a special occasion.

Excellent: Clay pot chicken.<br/>Excellent: Lemon coriander soup.<br/>Excellent: The raw mango & pepper mocktail.<br/>Good: Burnt garlic basil rice.<br/>Good: Lotus stem (appetizer).<br/>Good: Service. Staff was friendly.<br/>Not so good: Shredded lamb (appetizer).<br/>Not so good: "Pretentious" does not begin to describe the soup portions.<br/><br/>All in all: Slightly heavy on the pocket but will visit again!

First thing you will notice on your way in is the lovely decor, beautiful combination of white chairs with red upholstery , well plated round tables and pretty wine glasses.<br/><br/>Tried the sushi with cream & jalapeño and it was really good . Quickly followed by Avocado Tempura which I thought lacked a bit of seasoning but overall it was good. Then I had the pan fried vegetable noodles which was amazing. The perfect balance of vegetables with the sauce and noodles.<br/>For desert tried their special ohm ginger icecream with sweet noodles that was mouth watering. We followed it up with Dutch Truffle which I found be good but not as par with other restaurants.<br/><br/>The service was good & prompt. <br/><br/>Bill was obviously towards the higher end.<br/><br/>Food -4.5/5<br/>Ambience -4/5<br/>Service -4/5<br/>

Hmm.... so many things to write about the place. <br/>Parking: waited for at least 5-7 minutes outside, nobody came to take my car for Valet. (though i do not own any of the BMW, Merc & Jaguar - kind of the cars the valet drivers were eager to park. decided to park my own. Very bad decision, ended up in god forsaken place in the basement.  0/5<br/>The restaurant scores 5/5 on ambiance<br/>Service is good initially, but after 10:30 pm, when we're last people in the restaurant,  the guy started rushing - while i was eating, he was serving me more noodles, when i told him, i am eating, he asked, "sir, should i parcel it?" Looks like he was in hurry to go home. <br/>I had to ask for green tea 3-4 times, then we're served. <br/>I do not expect this service level from - quoting restaurant manager - "fine dining" restaurant. 2.5/5<br/>We ordered: <br/>Lemon coriander chicken soup: the quantity was less than little. he came with big dish but soup was less than 100 ml :P <br/>It had very strong lemon taste. 2/5<br/>Crab & Avocado sushi: 3.5 / 5 - sushi was tasty but wasabi tasted very mild. <br/>I would still prefer Syn & Amara sushi over this place. <br/>Chicken flat noodles with tangy tamarind sauce: Served veg noodles . :( 2/5 <br/>The noodles were mediocre. <br/>Clay pot chicken: the chicken was really good. 4/5<br/> The restaurant can take few lessons from its cousin - Mekong ;) <br/>Overall  my experience was not that great and still very heavy on wallet. <br/>I would still prefer Mekong.

Service 8<br/><br/>Taste 8<br/><br/>Ambiance 10<br/><br/>Value for money 7<br/><br/>the ambiance will sizzle once we step in and the menu will sizzle us later on!!! to be frank, the quantity served to the rate charged does not match and may be not here

Went here with collegues for lunch .Good place for people who crave for traditional Chinese / Japenese food. The ambience is as soothing as it can get. (Apt lighting and light instrumental Music) <br/><br/>Drinks : 3/5 <br/>Starters : 4/5 (Must Try : Lotus Stems, Sushi Platter(Veg/Non Veg).<br/>Main Course : 3/5 ( not very covincing)<br/>Desserts : 4/5 (I hate to be diplomatic but whole dessert menu is mouth watering. Must Try : Date Pudding and Cheesecakes)   <br/>Service: 3/5 ( Bit slow considering the crowd)<br/>Ambience : 4/5 <br/>Overall : 3.5 <br/><br/>Little heavy on your pocket . But definitely worth a visit.

I think it would be one of my favorite places i Hyderabad to have some contemporary Asian food. Me along with three other friends went to this place. Avasa being star rated property has no problems with parking and ambiance. The Restaurant itself has a very contemporary Asian look. The place is a bit on the higher side but thats the price we pay for the service and the promptness of the place. The staff is well versed and helpful. We loved the Wasabi Prawns and California Uramaki. The Prawn tempura was also excellent. The pan fried noodles was nothing out of ordinary but again the Teppanyaki Chicken dish was lip smacking. Donot miss the Wasabi prawns, whoever goes to this place

A very quiet place . The entrance is a little jarring to the eye but once inside it is a different world. The service was excellent . Loved the food .

We took dumplings & chilly lamb for entrees...spectacular fare. The thai chicken in red sauce with sticky rice was impressive too. They've a Hunan version of the iconic honey glazed rack which wasn't too bad..maybe it's something that grows on you. A little more range with single dish main courses would be nice.

Being an ardent lover of chinese food and after trying so many other places, I can say this is the best place to have chinese food in Hyd.<br/><br/>The food is too good, starting from starters till desserts. They have got quite good options in drink menu as well. We asked them to make our food little more spicy and it was just perfect!!! <br/><br/>Ambience is awesome. The service is attentive yet non intrusive.<br/><br/>All in all an extremely nice place with brilliant food.<br/><br/>Repeat act? Definitely!
