Review Glocal Junction Kondapur - Hyderabad

Rajendra Kumar
Glocal Junction exceeded our expectations! The venue is perfect for corporate team events or large gatherings, effortlessly accommodating up to 150 people. The food was not only tasty but also of high quality, with a diverse menu that satisfied every palate in our group. The ambience is delightful, creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. The live concert and DJ added an extra layer of excitement, making the evening truly memorable. Valet car parking is a great convenience, making the overall experience hassle-free. Special thanks to Rehman, the Unit Head, for his outstanding coordination. He ensured that every detail was taken care of, making our event a great success. Kudos to the entire team! Highly recommended for those seeking a fantastic venue with excellent service and an added bonus of live entertainment.

Over the weekend, I went to this place for dinner. The ambience and setup were really nice, and they had some good music playing. However, the DJ's song mix wasn't up to par, as it consisted mainly of slow and old songs that weren't dance-worthy 😂. Regarding the food, it was just average. I found their non-vegetarian options to be slightly better than their vegetarian ones, but they did have a diverse range of beverages to try. All in all, I wasn't too satisfied with the food, but the ambience was great for hanging out with friends.

Had a fantastic team dinner here. Firstly, Rahman the unit head, has done a fabulous job in receiving and curating the best package for us. He was always checking with us about the comfort and food, which was very kind of you. Secondly, food was excellent 👌 and the buffet items were made freshly and hot. Always getting filled in within time. Third, the exceptional service by the waiters, front office staff and cleaners. Even it being a buffet, they came with just prepared dishes and servered them voluntarily at our tables. Thr entire place was also super neat. Fourth, the sound system and ambience is too good. A good party place. Kudos to team Glocal for being a great host.

Had our year ending office party over here, amazing ambiance.the pleasure of visiting this incredible place with a great ambiance and positive atmosphere. I experienced the perfect combination of a good place and good vibes. The quantity of food and alcohol provided was generous. Not only did they offer great value, but the taste of the food was also excellent. It was a refreshing and enjoyable experience overall

The food was great with a lot of options but most of the dishes werent available that day,but overall it is a great place to hangout with ur friends considering the ambience and the taste of the food.I highly recommend their pesto pasta and also their butter chicken n naan combo .

The buffet was affordable and value for money. Not very crowded for a Saturday afternoon. The mocktails and cocktails could improve. The mutton rogan josh was extremely well done. Most of the starters are fried dishes. The service was good.

A nice place to spend some time. This is bit odd (the serving plates) When you first look at it. However, the taste is good and they have wide variety of cocktails too.

Consistent, no compromise on quality, never left dissatisfied. But, I definitely enjoyed the food more in my previous visits than the latest one.

This place is well worthy of its high ranking! Service, atmosphere, beer and food were all 1st class. For real lovers the choice was small but beautifully kept and the barman took care in pulling a good pint and from what I could see, knew his stuff preparing speciality drinks. The pub has a lovely atmosphere with a combination of locals and visitors. We were made to feel very welcome. Seated at a table, our waiter was friendly and engaging. So many good things on the menu. Three of us chose the chicken wings. Stunning! Maybe the best chicken wings I’ve ever had. Nothing was to much trouble. A request for more spicy was a ‘yes’ and quickly delivered to the table. All of the other veggie stuff we ordered were first class and very reasonably priced. If we ever find ourselves back in this part of the city we will definitely be back.

This place would be one of the best places among city to hangout with friends, they have lots of ongoing deals and offers. • Special offers and menu available during match hours. • Free liquor for ladies on limited brands during ladies night between 8pm to 10pm. Here we have tried ~ Flavour lasting fries ~ Cheese nachos with chicken ~ Chicken tikka sandwich ~ BBQ chicken pizza ~ Chicken Biryani ~ Dark Brownie with vanilla ice cream ~ Caramel Custard Among all Flavour lasting fries, chicken tikka sandwich, caramel custard are definitely must try.

Went for dinner buffet..the place is very big with ample seating inside and outside and is one of the finest dining n bar concept which promises good food along wit satisfaction for the money we spent. The salad n starters are very tasty, especially amritsari fish, chicken wings, garlic pops, potato snacks, crispy corn, paneer tikka etc.. There are a lot of veg n nonveg curries to have it with roti/Nan. Noodles with chicken wet/ veg wet to choose. There is also chicken dum biryani/ veg biryani available. The dessert section is wide spread wit lot of sweets and cakes. They provide 2 types of ice cream with 4 sauces to add on. They have chicken / veg pizza, which is served at the table. They have a free offer of mocktail/ beer to choose. Overall, our first experience turned out to be quite good and would like to visit again.

One place for good food and drinks (alcohol and non alcoholic) nice ambience and seating... The menu is also quite enough to choose mainly the drinks.. We tried Marinara pasta, Green dreams pizza, orange mint, peach almond rose ice tea..all are satisfactory. Good place to come with friends and have some fun. One thing is they are taking some time to serve the orders.

In case you are wondering about the place this is none other than Glocal that had opened up to a great launch party in their Jubilee Hills outlet. They had already closed this place and had reopened it a couple of months back. I started off with the Gulabo Quarter which was a perfect cocktail with a blend of flavors and had vodka as the base.

I love this place! Amazing offerings on both food and drinks. Plus a dance floor worth realising your stress out on weekends. As it is not so crowded, you will definitely have a gala time here.

Opted to go on a Sunday afternoon for the buffet spread.
Every starter that they had on offer that day was outstanding.
Pick of them were the chicken wings, paneer Tikka and the pizzas!
I would not be exaggerating if I say that the wings here are one of the best in town.paneer was so fresh and soft!!just melted.
They need to tighten up on the main course though as not only the spread wasn't great but most of the items left a lot to be desired.
Service was very slow for most part of our visit.
Overall a decent value for money resto.recommended.
We had been here for a class party . We decided on going to Glocal Junction as they were having buffet at throw away prices ! We were all excited as it is considered on of the most happening places in the city ! We were disappointed with the spread . The number of items served were on the lower side and the desserts were something similar to the ones served at a wedding . The only good part about the lunch were the pizza and the starters ! I feel they should charge higher and have a new set of items served !

Food was average. We ordered cheese tandoor broccoli which was not cooked properly. Also we observed that the same was not tandoored even. But non veg item (chicken wings) was good. They have fabulous serving idea with roasted corn and garlic bread, which I liked the most.
Had been to Glocal junction at Kondapur branch on last Wednesday. The ambience, food, service , different cutlery over there is superb and with the same expectation I have been to Glocal junction at Jubilee hills. But my expectations went wrong and the food spread was just ok ok.

I request the team over here to look into this and both the branches should be the same including the food and spread.

Is the quality difference because, Jubilee hills branch is part of Gourmet passport whereas the other one isn't??

Not at all recommended for veg buffet , very slow service , not at all attentive staff .... veg food was tasteless, desserts were just like eating at any small bakery..
Really dissappointing

I love their pizzas more than anywhere because of the soft base they make. I absolutely loved their four cheese pizza & chicken Tikka pizza when I went there last week with my brother. Desserts were top notch. Literally, the best desserts I have had in my life.

The service was really good.we went at a very crowded and busy time. There was lack of cleanliness and for grilling it was talking really long.
After from the cleanliness every thing was really nice. The food was also really tasty.
Looking forward to visit again.

#HYDERABADI FOOD THERAPY

Glocal Junction - A place which doesn't need any introduction, located at jubilee hills rd no. 45, Near to KBR road, beside China bistro, Ground is for dining while the 1st floor is a small club with dance floor. This place serves indian, chinese and continental food.

So they introduced buffets for lunch which includes mocktails , starters, main course and desserts.

So we had chicken 65, chicken bbq pizza and veg pepper bruschetta and chilly garlic fish.

But main course actually failed to impress me, but I'm pretty sure they're gonna improve on that.

butter chicken, chicken masala, and chicken biryani.

lastly comes the dessert, Their's a saying - If you have a sweet tooth, you'll always have a space for dessert.
And so they have got

Assorted cakes were pretty good, french ville, chocolate mousse

Mocktails - Banana cooler , Orange Mojito

I highly appreciate their staff for their quick service towards us , loved thier mocktails, Will definitely visit them again.

Follow my Instagram page @journeywithfoodiess

I have been here with my pal for dinner to try their all new IPL pizza menu for this IPL season.
I must say the place is magnificently beautiful. The interior is very luxurious and the aura is very calming and soothing. The place is quite big with live screening and live music. Their playlist is amazing.
Coming to the food we started with some refreshing Mocktails like virgin Mojito & tangerine lemongrass cooler which were very revitalising and settle.
In starter we tried House fries which were a mix of French fries, wedges & sweet potato fries sided with mayo and tomato been salsa dip.
From their IPL pizza menu we ordered a veg pizza loaded with cheese and topped with roasted bell peppers, jalapeño, basil, bocconcini & olives which tasted amazingly delicious. Highly recommended.
And the Non-veg Grilled Chicken pizza was topped with sautéed mushrooms, caramelised onions, mozzarella and arugula with balsamic reduction which was quite tasty.

Overall my experience @Glocaljunction was wonderful. I would love to come here again to try out other dishes as well. The service here was really quick & the staff was professional.

A sudden plan for a Sunday Lunch and skeptically walked into this place. With their new launch of Lunch buffet, settled down to go with it. The place was cozy enough with Sofa, tables and Chair seatings. We were served the Mocktail drink which was Mango based with Mint and Lemon. They called it a Summer special drink and true to its reference, it was refreshing! The cutlery represented the garage tools such as pliers, spanners etc.The starters were served on the table. They had Chicken wings, Zaitooni Murg Tikka, Talawa Chicken, Chilli Fish, BBQ chicken Pizza on the Non veg Front. On the Veg front they had: Cheese Ball, Paneer Tikka, Cheese Garlic Bread, Mirchi Bajji and Mexican Pizza. They are seldom places where each and every dish stands out. Each and every item of starters tasted EXCELLENT!!! They were bang on, fresh, piping hot and truly justifying to their name. Beyond any doubt the rating for the starters is 5/5
Tomato Shorba which was the soup for the day tasted divine! Salads section consisted fresh variants of Lettuce, Olives, Roasted potato salad, Faatoush salad, Caesar salad, Water Feta Salad and Green Salad, Hummus Babaganoush, Muhammara and Tomato Salsa. The salads stood up to the expectations set by the Starters. The Main course section was a limited spread of Fish in Chilli gravy, Chicken chettinad, Egg curry and Chicken Biryani on the Non veg front; Kadai Paneer, Subz Handi , Vegetable black bean sauce, Hakka noodles, Rotis, Steamed rice, Dal, rasam etc. The Chicken biryani was below average where as the rest were good.

The Desserts section included Assorted Pastries of Mango, Strawberry, Mango mousse, Belgium chocolate cake, Rice kheer, Choco ball, cut fruits and Cheese cake. Apart from the Rice kheer (tasted bad), the rest of the desserts tasted great. The food overall is very much enjoyable. The service was pretty slow and we had to remind the staff again and again for services. Overall a worthwhile visit!

Went on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate Mother's day with my mom and husband. Was utterly disappointed with both the service and food.
Had high expectations reading the excellent reviews on Zomato. Did not live up to those expectations.
The mocktails were good. It took almost 45 mins for them to serve us snacks we ordered which were just average.
Ravioli and butter chicken in the main course were still ok but our mood was already spoilt by the time v got to the main course.
I felt they were having a tough time managing the newly started buffet as well as ala carte at the same time.
P.S: Thanks to the manager who helped us move to the sofa table from the not v comfortable bar stools.

Glocal junction has been my absolute favorite from a very long time. It's always a new experience whenever I pay my visit to this place. So,last week I got a chance to review their PIZZA BY THE BAT Menu which is a promotional run by Glocal junction for this IPL season. They started it two months back and it's going to be till 18th of this month.
.
This menu includes half metre & one metre pizzas which sounds really interesting because,we have been eating those same old round-shaped pizzas from a long time. So,for a change....it's really interested to have these kinda pizzas once in a while.
.
So,I started with my all time favorite mocktail....peach basil Melody...how many ever times I try this at their place ,they never disappoint me. Kudos to the mixologist.
.
So,coming to the main part....they have 4 vegetarian pizzas and non-vegetarian pizzas in their pizza by the bat menu. Everything was different in terms of ingredients, types of cheese, color & taste of it. I only ordered two pizzas as we were only two people and couldn't try more . So,we as usually started with their special non-veg pizza which was a square shaped half metre pizza which had grilled chicken, olives, jalapenos & bell peppers. The base was made perfectly as it was very soft and the pieces came out easily. The chicken on it was tender and spicy. I absolutely loved this pizza. As we tried non-veg section,we thought of trying vegetarian pizza. So, we got four cheese pizza which had four types of cheese in it which made this pizza very special in terms of taste and looks as well.
.
Each and every pizza was priced between 595-1025/- based upon the ingredients in it. I definitely recommend every pizza lover to try this menu & you'll definitely thank me later😉. Okay, enough of writing....try them & let me know your experience 😃.
.
Thanks, Glocal junction
.
Regards, Hyderabadfoodbowl

Went there to have the buffet spread which is one of the newest and decent introductions in Glocal Junction . I personally loved the starters which consisted of 4 veg and 4 nonveg dishes. The pepper Bruschetta, Veg Tikka, Chilli mushroom pizza, and Mirchi bhaji were on the veg side . They were just yumm, all of them. My heart went for the Mirchi bhaji which was very unique and had a great stuffing inside. I bet you will love the taste. The nonveg appetizers were Chicken 65, Sambhar chicken tikka, Chilli garlic fish and BBQ chicken pizza. The best was the fish which was soo well cooked. Chicken 65 could have been better. The pizza was just amazing👌 And with such amazing appetizers you feel soo very good and will end up wanting more. Coming to the main course Chicken mughlai was delicious and Chicken biryani was Good. There were many other dishes in veg section nad nonveg too which are worth tasting. The salad and mezze bar had varieties of salads which consisted of greens , reds , hummus and many more. The summer special mocktail served was of orange flavor and was heavily refreshing. 👌👍 The soup of the day was tomato dhaniya Shorba which was good too. Coming to the deserts section there were assorted pastries of chocolate, strawberry based. Cut fruits and chocolate mousse were there too along with other items.
In whole the whole buffet was worth the price which was only 575/- INR . The menu was great and taste was superb. I would recommend this buffet for sure👍👍👍👌 Good job Glocal Junction!👌👍

Glocal junction came up with new buffet menu. This place was replaced by India bistro but Glocal again came back few months back. Was invited here on Saturday for lunch with some fellow foodies. As usual ambiance is good and place was almost full, service was good and quite attentive despite of rush.

Coming to the food, it all started with Chilly fish which was little spicy and nice in taste,
Veg Bruschetta needs little attention as the base was little too hard. Chicken 65 was decent, nothing special just done the basics.

Pizza - Now this is where glocal does amazing job always, Grilled chicken pizza was amazing in taste, with good amount of moderate spicy chicken pieces with some veggies on the top and same with BBQ chicken pizza thin crust. Both were amazing 😍

Main course: Egg masala was decent, chicken mughlai masala was nice in taste, thick gravy which was complimenting really well with naan. Thai green curry is something which is not suited for my taste bud I guess, so again i didn't liked it. Chicken Biryani I thought was decent so as the noodles.

Dessert: Rice kheer was decent, Assorted chocolate pastries and strawberry pastries needs to be little moist as it was little hard and dry. Chocolate mousse was however better as it was having pure chocolate taste which was little sour at the same time.

Overall it was a decent buffet with decent pricing, Pizza's have always been there speciallity but the dessert section needs little attention in the buffet section specially. Nice place to hangout with friends.

Tried their buffet last Saturday and I must say I’m really impressed. The buffet is really affordable for the food they are serving! Love everything from their appetisers to their desserts. Appetisers menu is so vast and it has everything from chicken staters, pizzas, fish starts etc! Main course was pretty simple but worth it. If you’re a spicy food lover, go to chicken biryani! It’s super yummy and spicy! They have mainly Indian main course. Desserts are mix of Indian and pastries! Chocolate pops are must try!

Global Local gives Glocal

Glocal Junction is designed with the idea of coexistence of like-minded people who are global in their appearances yet local at heart.
It is spread over two floors and has decent interiors.
Coming to the food, so they have just introduced buffets for lunch priced at Rs. 575 which includes mocktails, starters, main course and desserts.
In starters had chilly garlic fish, chicken 65, chicken bbq pizza and veg bruschettà. The chicken 65 can be worked upon more, well the other starters were fine.
Among the main course I loved the thai green curry (non veg). I have had thai green curry before at other places but it has always failed to impress me, but undoubtedly it was perfect at Glocal.
The hakka noodles, chicken Mughlai masala, and chicken biryani, all were good.
Lastly, the dessert, to be honest, it really requires an upscale. The rice kheer served was burnt. The pastries were decent and the mouse was just good in presentation but didn't taste nice.
Though the staff was good and polite, i found that they were very less in number and couldn't attend the guests in time. Since the buffet is on and it will attract a huge bunch of people in a go, the staff should be increased in no. for quicker services.
Nonetheless, the place is good and charismatic, full of energy. Can be and should be tried out.
Recommended!!

Glocal is a well-known brand in Hyderabad and is famous for its fusion take on the global and local flavours.

Ambience: Its a spacious place with a club vibe. It has a bar setting too for some really good mocktails.

They have started their lunch buffet and we were invited to try that. The buffet included the 4 veg and 4 non veg starters, salad & mezze bar, main course and few yummm desserts.

Mocktails :We tried orange and basil mocktail which was so refreshing and much needed for the super hot afternoon.

Starters :Sambar chicken tikka, chicken 65 and chilly grill fish were the non veg starters served. I liked them all especially chicken 65.Grill fish tasted quite nice and was extremely soft. Veg tikka, pepper bruschetta and cheese stuffed mirchi bhajji were the items in veg starters. All the starters were delicious. BBQ chicken pizza and chilli mushrom pizzas were also included in the starters section. And they were lip smackingly delicious. It was surely a delight for cheese lovers. The pizza was loaded with cheese and BBQ chicken pieces. Both the veg and nonveg pizzas were jus yummulicious.

Main Course :In main course there was chicken biryani, chicken mughlai, fish curry, egg masala, kadai paneer, mixed veg, hakka noodles and veg black pepper sauce. I really liked the biryani, chicken mughlai and noodles.

Salad and mezze bar: They had a section for all the salad, dressing and dips. They had some middle eastern dips like hummus ,babaganoush, muhammara .

Dessert: They had cut fruits, assorted pastries (strawberry, lemon and chocolate), choco ball, chocolate mousse, rice kheer and french vanilla. The desserts were jus killer.

Wasn't my first choice to begin with, just wanted some quick bites which turned into an excruciatingly long dinner with dessert coming an hour after food. If you're looking to get hammered, might just be the place, but the dining experience, not so much.

Glocal junction a brand which has established itself in the food scene of Hyderabad in the last few years. Is known for it's fusion food. Local dishes are presented with an international tadka and vice versa.

Located in jublee hills beside China bistro which is also owned by the same management is easy to locate. The place has a club vibe. With dim lighting club style sitting . The place also boost a stocked up bar counter serving some lip smacking mocktails and cocktails.

They also have a projector big screen to telecast sporting events. Was here with friends during the ipl season. They had some amazing pizza under the promotion "pizza by the bay" . Delicious pizza with lipsmacking mocktails and cocktails are my fav combination clubbed with a sporting event.

They have good combinations for veg and non veg.
We ordered sauteed spinach , mushrooms , roasted garlic and mozzarella pizza. Mushroom sauteed in salt and viniger were tender and soft. Thin crust pizza loaded with cheese combined with roasted garlic pieces and spinach was my fav of the lot.

Roasted bell peppers , jalapeno , balck olives pizza was another gem. For those who don't savour mushrooms this should be their option . First bite from the outer crust I felt it packed flavours. But a second bite proved me wrong. It was a burst of flavours .

Next we ordered four cheese pizza a combination of mozzarella , cheddar , parmesan and bocconcini . This was certainly a cheese lover delight.

Tangerine lemon grass cooler and pomegranate lemon ginger were perfect mocktails for summers..

They also have some delicious desserts options.. filter coffee lovers u should not miss the filter coffee panacota . The Indian filter coffee given a twist strong coffee flavour with mild sweetness.

Brownie waffle with ice cream. Not the best waffles in town but good considering it to be a restaurant.

The service also was on spot. Overall a very good experience.

Man ! They serve such amazing food and innovative cocktail recipe ! We have been there for my sister birthday, with a bunch of cousins and friends. And we have no idea what all and how much we’ve eaten there. All I remember is how delicious their food was and how much I enjoyed their cocktails ! Not to forget, how polite the staff was. Loved the ambience and hospitality of the staff. Would surely like to visit more often. Didn’t click pictures of the food, just the cocktails. ‘Cause I loved the way they were presented. I’d highly recommend this place.

Visited on a Thursday night.
There are two types of seating.
Downstairs is the live music and upstairs is the Pub.

The staff was great and the restaurant was all posh and beautiful. The food was okay for me.
We ordered Prawns and Max Hell Pizza. The taste was okay. So 3 stars.
Didn't experience the Pub, so cannot comment.

The Glocal Junction is a beautiful space, located on the main road itself nearby the KBR Park. It is a massive and spacious property and is very pretty. They have indoor seating which is divided into two portions ..the lower portion has the dining area and the first floor has a club .
It is a casual dining place and they serve Indian, Chinese, Continental and Italian Cuisines. The place is new and different from all the other places in Hyderabad.
We tried the Teen Bean Salad , Root Vegetable Salad , Paneer Sugarcane Sticks, Methi Malai Naanza, House Spiced Chicken Wings , Falafel In Pita , Malai Broccoli, Coorgi Murgh Dry Fry, Chicken Adana , Ravioli Cheese Burst in starters . All the starters were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. I didnt like the Paneer Sugarcane sticks a lot, there are other options you can opt for.
We had a proceeded for the mains. Smoked Butter Paneer with Roti , khao Suey Chicken and Gongura Mutton Curry with Steamed Rice . And I absolutely fell in love with the Smoked Butter Paneer and Gongura Mutton Curry , Khao Suey Chicken is something you can skip.
Glocal junction is one such place who serves the best of the best Mocktails , so we tried out hands on a Tangerine Lemongrass Cooler ,Kokum Desi Cooler ,Virgin Mojito , Pomergranate Lemon Ginger ,Chilli Monk and Berry Bull .Here Pomergranate Lemon Ginger stole my heart. it was the best ginger based cooler i have ever tried .now coming onto to desserts side .
Someone rightly said that there is always space for dessert. To be honest, I am a Huge fan of desserts served here. I tried the Brownie Waffle and the Kolkata Cheese paan . And both the desserts were truly drool worthy . do visit this place as this place serves you the best food , best drinks along side an amazing live music .

Food - 5/5
Ambience -5/5
Service -5/5
Value for money -4/5

One of my go to places for cocktails and partying. I have been here like so many times. I'm so glad that back again at Jubileehills.

I was here for the launch party. There was set menu for the party, for both food and drinks.

I got try - Chilly chicken bao, chicken 65, shrimp dumplings, chicken cornetos, chicken kebab on sugar cane sticks, Arabic mezze, coorgi murgh dry fry, pav bhaji fondue. I really liked chilly chicken bao, coorgi murgh dry fry. Others could have been better.

From main course - I've tried gongura mutton with steamed rice. It was good.

Drinks - I went for peach basil melody from mocktails. And from cocktails, I've tried - gulabo, Satrangi narangi, dulce franchesca, watermelon mojito, tropical jack. I really like their cocktails. So, I absolutely did enjoy them.

Last but not the least, desserts. Tried the masala Chai panna cotta and Kolkata Paan cheesecake. And I absolutely loved the Paan cheesecake.

I definitely am gonna go back, which I always do. Also love the dance floor.

Went to this place with my foodie friends a couple of weeks back.
We started off with teen bean salad and root veg salad ,the presentation was on another level.
Then we had the paneer sugarcane sticks and as the name suggests it was deliciously cooked paneer on sugarcane sticks followed by the methi malai naanza which had a soft in hard out naan topped with delightful toppings.
House spiced wings were extremely tasty ,no wonder its their signature dish.
Falafel in pita and malai broccoli were just perfect . Neither too heavy nor too light.
For main course we had smoked butter paneer and khao suey chicken with gongura mutton curry rice. The main course though delightful but nothing could beat the starters.
For desserts we had something totally different. Cheese filled pan which i never even imagined was possible. Its was exquisite .
Lastly the beautiful live musicto lighten up the mood.
Highly recommend this place to everybody.
Yesterday night,I had been to Glocal Junction at Jubilee Hills with my bunch of buddies for dinner.
The place has a catchy exteriors, the sign ‘क’ in the name GLOकAL was quit attractive.
The restaurant & pub has a casual and chilled out ambiance and if you’re looking for a place to have a relaxed and long-winding conversation with a long lost friend over a lazy brunch or dinner, the Glocal is one of your best bets.

We were served with the starters,starting with the salads;
•Teen Bean Salad:
Making good salad dressing is one great balancing act,it was a perfect combo of sweet and sour with a dash of acidic hit to your taste bud.Platings where beautifully presented, the black plate made the content on the plate more clear and attractive.

•Roasted root salad:
This root vegetables salad was hearty and healthy. Tender beets, potatoes, sweet potato,carrots,greens-this mix of roasted root vegetables on a bed of hummus gaved a simple yet tasty flavour. The presentation was beautiful the colours of the veggies and the sprouts were clearly visible.quit a colourful and tasty salad.

We were served with few amazingly refreshing mocktails.
•Chilli Monk
•Berry Bull
•Virgin Mojito
•Pomegranate Lemon Ginger
•Kokum Desi Cooler
•Tangerine Lemongrass

Then came in the delicious aromatic appetisers from the kitchen; the fragrance and the presentation where top-notch!

•Paneer Sugarcane Dish:
Mildly spicy mince of paneer and veggies with a crispy outer skewered on a sugarcane stick,it was an awesome pan Fried veg kebab dish.

•Methi Malai Naanza:
A different naanza with a punch of abundant flavour of fenugreek topped with Bechamel sauce giving a soft distinct taste to the Naan, looked more like a pizza. The paneer, olive, jalapeño,cheese and topped with sauces and herbs.Just cant resist it.

•Falafel In Pita:
Warm pita bread, stuffed with crispy hot falafel balls, crunchy diced cucumber & pickles, diced capsicum ,lots of sliced lettuce, and drizzled with nutty tahini sauce.
Falavorfully delicious exotic dish,my personal favorite.

•Cheesy Tandoori Broccoli:
Broccoli florets marinated in fresh cream, hung curds ,cheese flavoured with mace , ginger and garlic and baked to perfection.
Smooth, creamy and cheesy! Simply melts in mouth.

•House Spice Chicken Wings:
Its all about the sauce when it comes to chicken wings and sometimes it's all in the rub! These chicken wing had lots of spicy seasoning that makes them very memorable wings! A great treat to spice lovers 🌶.

•Coorgi Murgi Dry:
I would highly recommend this dish its a must try. Its bits of chicken fried with Coorgi spices, chillies and curry leaves served on top of a waffle made of dosa batter. South Indian flavours served in International style.

•Chicken Adana:
Hot, spicy, greasy and full of flavor are some of the words you can use about this particular kebab.it was flavorful and aromatic.
I was very pleased with these wonderful Adana kebabs.

Then after tasting all the starters,we were entertained by the live music being played there,it was really calming, relaxing and de-stressing. My friends and I were enjoying ourselves.

Then came the serve of the main course, the dishes were perfectly presented and i was very much impressed by the idea of fusion food where the authentic flavours where presented in a new way with little touch of global flavours.

•Ravioli Cheese Burst:
Tender pasta pockets stuffed with melty, gooey cheese was simply delicious , Each bit bursts with flavor and includes hints of black pepper and basil.

•Smoked Butter Paneer:
It is a rich and delicious North Indian aromatic dish. delicious and rich butter based with smoky flavor.

•Khao Suey Chicken:
This vibrant chicken curry captures all of the bright, bold flavours of Thailand.Rich, creamy, and packed with uncompromising flavor from a slew of aromatics.

•Gongura Mutton Curry with Steamed Rice:
A spicy lamb curry with the distinctive taste of it main ingredient gongura or sorrel leaves.
This curry is a popular dish in Andhra cuisine.

Then came my most awaited part of the dinner, the desserts. Who can say no to desserts! They were so finely presented. The idea implemented was quit impressive. They served us the combination of brownie and waffle that was,
•Waffle Brownie:
This dessert felt like chocolate utopia.
It made my insides smile!
Rich,Chocolatey delicious Waffles.

Then came this amazingly prepared delacy, combination of Paan & cheesecake,
•Kolkata pan cheesecake:
Sounds delicious, right?
Indo fusion dessert is one of my favourite, These paan flavoured cheesecake was elegant and definitely it was amazingly delicious.

Glocal Junction is almost synonymous with fusion of food and drinks, blending the best of global and local flavours. It is a nice place with an interesting menu.
The ambience helps you unwind with live music, allowing you to comfortably consider spending long hours in the resto-bar.
This place is amazing!! Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend to anyone!

Glocal Junction renewed & reopened in its Origin Jubilee Hills. They Have Started up with Sunday Brunch’s too. I have been again to reopened version of Glocal Junction for their Sunday Brunch.
They had live music band too..
Starting of with their chef choice non veg/veg soup.

Starters they had many too choose from, In Veg I had falafel pita pockets, vegetable delight pepper fry pizza which was good with thin crust. Guntur Chilli Chicken, Beer Batter Fish Finger was good in Non veg starters.

Live Counters, Ravioli Pasta and My Favourite Brownie, which they served in Brownie Waffle was different from normal waffles and was tasteful.

Salad their special one was Teen Bean Salad with Pineapple Salsa was flavourful with different kind of sauces.

Main Course Mamsam Chicken Curry was good and served in their unique way, Mutton Biryani was Ok, Ok but was disappointed with Butter Chicken curry as it was bit salty and didn’t turn well.

Desserts they had Doughnuts which was softy with chocolate sauce, assorted pastries, Blueberry mouse and my fav Tiramisu which was tasty.

Food:4.5/5
Ambience:4/5
Staff:5/5
Glocal Junction is reopened in Jubilee Hills just beside China Bistro with a new version. It is setup in two levels, with a spacious seating arrangement with a look of more of a dining area and super good interiors. As the name suggests, it is a combination of Global and local cuisines. Fusion here is definitely a hit. I was there for the Sunday Brunch buffet, which was beautifully presented .Tried the following food

Appetizers:

Gun Powdered Potato - Perfect snack with mild flavours. Kids would love this.

Vegetable Delight Pepperfry Pizza - Thin crust pizza served with Cheese, Bellpeppers, baby corn etc. Delicious.

Falafel Pita Pockets - Soft pitas stuffed with Hot falafels and served with a hummus dip.

House Spice Chicken Wings - These wings are baked rather than fried, and juicy in the inside.

Guntur Chilly Chicken - Sauce is so hot and spicy as it is prepared with special Guntur red chillies. Must try!!

Beer Batter Fish Finger - One of the best beer batter fish I had so far.

Keema Mutter Pizza- This is another hit. Thin crust pizza topped with cheese and Minced meat.

In Maincourse, tried the Massaman Chicken Curry, Smoked Butter Paneer and butter chicken. All of them were truly delightful.

Wrapped off the dinner with their amazing desserts from the buffet Best of them was the chocolate waffle and the assorted pastries.

All the dishes were beautifully presented.

Glocal junction is now back with a bang. It is reopened in it's place of origin, Jubilee Hills branch but this time better than ever.
You ask me the best FUSION FOOD place in Hyderabad and Glocal junction would easily top my list.
With fine dining&bar counter in the ground floor and the usual party place with dance floor and bar counter in the first floor it's one of best places for dual purposes

Gachibowli branch is also in successful operation.

We started with salads
Teen bean salad : consists of sprouts and other veggies in pineapple olive oil dressing
The presentation was 👌👌
Roasted roots salad : it is of boiled carrots sweet potato beetroot etc
Was good
.
.
In starters we had
Paneer sugarcane stick : this is my favorite
Mashed paneer mixed with spices and deep fried and wrapped around sugar cane stick
Though sugar cane stick doesn’t add any taste to paneer it feels good to eat the stick after eating paneer
.
Cheesy tandoori broccoli : was tasty but broccoli pieces were too large
.
Falafel in pita : served along with hummus and salsa
Was good
.
Methi malai nanza : Indian version of pizza
Pizza instead of regular base served on naan
A must try here
Was very soft and yummy
.
House spice chicken wings : super spicy and perfect 🔥🔥
.
Churrasco chicken : grilled chicken served on naan with onions 👍👍
.
Coorgi murgi dry fry : it was a little disappointment 👎👎
.
Guntur chilli chicken : was spicy and with lots of chillies
A big 👍👍👍
.
In the main course we have tried
Ravioli cheese burst : this was heavenly
Full of cheese and just melts in your mouth
.
Smoked butter panner with paratha : was very good
.
Gongura mutton curry : gongura flavor dominated mutton taste but was okay
.
.
In deserts we have tried
Brownie waffles : these were crazy
❤️❤️
.
Masala chai panacotta: super tasty 😍
.
.
They also serve amazing mocktails and cocktails
My favorite is watermelon and basil slash cocktail
Food Khalifa
So it all started from here when first time glocal started its operations in Hyderabad. But then they moved to another location in Hyderabad later on again they are back to same premises with their second outlet in the city with more promising ambiance and class added to it's wings underneath. The place has been divided into two sections one is completely fine which is on ground floor and the first floor is pub kind of section for the party lovers. The fine dining area interior is really good the small tent seating on the left side and good amount of center section seating. The right side has a big bar which serves both amazing mocktails and cocktails.

Talking about the food

Appetizers:

Methi malai naanza: It's a Indian version of Italian pizza replacing the pizza base with the Indian bread. Creamy mild and little sweet gravy generously spread with small chunks of fresh and soft paneer was delicious.

Falafel in pita pockets: The pita pockets were well enough stuffed with falafel, salad and sauce.

Paneer sugar cane sticks: Mashed paneer mixed with mild spices and wrap around the sugarcane stick. The concept was new and good but it lack with the infusion of sugarcane stick flavor with the paneer mixture.

Chicken Adana kebab: This dish stole my heart as it became one of my favourite kebab dish. As the shape it's self say that the kebab has Turkish influence and the mild spices flavour were the prove. The delicious kebab was placed on masala pita bread along with garlic mayonnaise and crispy wedges.

House spiced chicken wings: The chicken wings were perfectly tossed in in-house spices which gave the chicken perfect crisp outside and a hint of sweetness with a good amount of smokeyness into it.

Coorgi murgi: With the south Indian inspired chicken dish were chicken cubes marinated in coorgi masala and deep fried it. The crunchy chicken cubes presented on the perfectly made waffle.

Main course:

Smoked butter paneer masala: The butter paneer was good as the gravy was nice and creamy in texture when eaten with hot laccha paratha is completely bliss.

Khao Suey: A dish that travelled from Burma to India has made its mark as it's one of my favourite dish to eat. It's a coconut milk based gravy contain fresh noodles along with other addons to enhance the flavour of the dish.

Dessert: Glocal was famous for few of it's dessert creations and Chai Panna cotta is one of them. The Chai Panna cotta has the perfect flavour of Hyderabadi Irani chai and it is served along with osmania biscuit. Next was chocolate waffle with chocolate sauce drizzle along vanilla ice cream the combo was well complimented each other.

Rating:

Ambience: 4.5/5
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4/5
Overall experience: 4.5/5

Glocal junction (Once again) opened its doors last month and is here with a bang.
For all these years Glocal has been known for its drinks (atleast in Mumbai). They have a separate dining section for family dinner and a pub above.
Starting off with the food.
They have come up with a few Salads. We tried out 2 of them.
1) Root Vegetable Salad - this was a nice salad which was pleasing to the eyes but not extremely pleasing to the palate. It was nice and colourful with orange from the carrots, and then we're the shiny dark beetroots. Also thrown in were a few baby potatoes and some beans. We liked the hummus served alongside. Health freaks would definitely love the salad.

2) Teen Bean Salad: this was a mix of pulses paired with feta cheese. This salad was just okay and failed to hit the spot. Definitely preferred the root vegetable salad over this one.

For the appetizers we had Veg Cornetos with were small little waffle cones stuffed with a mushroom filling. This tasted good but these got over in no time. We would have preferred a larger quantity.

Falafel in Pita: this was one simple and delicious dish. This needs no introduction and was definitely a dish we would suggest.

Methi Malai Naanza: Definitely something to try once. It's a different concept entirely. Overall a decent tasting dish.

Paneer Sugarcane Sticks: this dish was something we loved personally. The paneer was well seasoned and had just the right amount of spices. Loved this starter.

From the Non Vegetarian options we tried the
Chicken Adana, Churrasco Chicken, House Spice Chicken Wings and Coorgi Murgi Dry Fry.

Chicken Adana was a Turkish recipe and Was full of flavour. Beautifully marinated and cooked.

The spicy chicken wings were a bit too spicy to a point where we couldn't taste the chicken due to the overpowering spicy sauce.

The Coorgi Murgi dry fry was one dish we drooled over. Perfectly cooked chicken which was perfectly spiced and plated on an appam waffle. Very innovative and tasty.

Veg Mains
Ravioli Cheese Burst: this dish we highly recommend. Loved the sauce plating and the flavours.

Smoked Butter Paneer: this was a decent dish. Not the best butter paneer for sure.

Non Veg
Khao Suey Chicken: lovely dish. Will definitely have it again. The chicken was well cooked and the gravy was creamy and delicious.

Gongura Mutton Curry: Extremely disappointing, super chewy mutton and the gravy had no balance in flavours. Totally off.

Moving on to the desserts: we tried the Masala Chai Pannacotta which was a lovely concurrent. Will surely be a hot among all the chai lovers.

Waffle Brownie: This dish stood out the most. Definitely going back for the waffles here. Loaded with chocolate and served with vanilla. Delightful!

Beeramisu: this dish didn't really appeal to me. The tiramisu definitely was a miss.

Overall, the service was great, the staff was courteous and the food is good. They also have a dance floor and live performances.

I would rate this place 3.75/5

Glocal Junction needs no introduction in the land of Nawabs. They have got their mark all over Hyderabad. Glocal Junction has now opened up again at their former spot at Road Number 1. The place is all decked up in whole new attire and has got a new range of dishes along with the old menu. This new Glocal have got proper dining places with couches whereas the first floor is dedicated to all the party animals with a electric dance floor.
Glocal is known for their menu which is a cross between global foods with a touch of Indian cuisine into it. We started our session with the serving of house special Teen Bean Salad and Roasted Root Salad. Both of them were just delicious and set the tone right. The crunch from the freshness of the produce was unreal, but the addition of crispy Lavash bread with the light dressing made the dish even more delicious.
Our appetizer course started with another set of stunning dishes, both for the vegetarians and the non-vegetarians. The Methi Malai Paneer Naanza was just beautiful hot and fluffy Naan bread topped with creamy Paneer concoction and cheese. The Lavash Cornettos had crisp Lavash cones filled with Hummus and sautéed mushrooms. It was just plain simply put together – delicious. We also had the Paneer Kebabs on Sugarcane Sticks where the flavourful Paneer mash was wrapped on the sugarcane stickes. But the element of surprise was missing and panner was a little too chewy for me.
For the non vegetarians like me, we had the Chicken Adana Kebabs and House Spiced Chicken Wings. Both of them were terrific and blew my taste buds. The Adana Kebabs had an Arabic influence with mild spiced minced chicken kebabs on top of Harissa loaded spicy bread served alongside a salad. The House Spiced Chicken Wings was from the original Glocal menu with baked skin-on chicken wings loaded with paprika based spice punch. The Coorgi Murgi Dry Fry was terrific as well. It was a well balanced dish and had some great flavors.
For the mains we had Smoked Butter Paneer Masala along with a flaky Laccha Parantha. The smoky flavor was enhanced by the use of charcoal. For the non-vegetarians family we had Burmese Khao Suey curry and a selection of condiments to go alongside.
But nothing ends without desserts. We had Masala Chai Pannacotta and Brownie Waffles with Ice Cream. Everything was so well balanced in terms of flavors, that I was overwhelmed at the end of it.

Their service has always been top notch and with brilliant food. All in all, be it for a dinner with friends or an office party with colleagues, this place is a must try!

Glocal Junction is back with a bang. With revamped interiors and menu, this not-really-new outlet has reopened its doors to Jubilee hills at it's old spot once again. They've hit the sweet spot between a diner and a night club. The revived outlet spans two floors each with it's own bar. The ground floor with it's classy ambience including a leather sofa section and kabanas is for houselings who visit for the sole purpose of lounging in tranquility while the upstairs has been revamped for the party animals come weekends making it perfect for everything from a quiet family dinner to a weekend watering hole.

Their menu shows a profound affinity for fusion foods. A melange of global cuisines with local flavours. And quite a few of these items have made it to my list of must haves.

I started off with the Teen bean salad and root vegetable salad. For the starters we picked the following
Veg cornettos- Interesting papad cones with an earthy spinach mushroom stuffing.
Falafel in pita- The fresh pita bread turned this into a relishable experience. The falafels were perfectly done and crunchy. Served with tzatziki sauce, hummus and some potato wedges. A smear of achar on the side gave it a purely optional Desi touch.
Methi malai nanza- A long soft naan topped with a creamy sauce, rich paneer and veggies. Despite how basic it sounds, this was a crowd pleaser. The naan bread mimicked a soft pizza base and the creamy toppings all but turned into a desi pizza. Tastes best when warm.
Chicken Adana kebab- Two grilled minced chicken kebabs served over a soft bread smeared with achar. With a side of potato wedges, sliced onions with sumac, a grilled onion, pepper and tomato, a smear of garlic sauce and a dollop of achar. The Wedges with garlic sauce were addictive and the kebabs with an ever to slightly tangy taste to them didn't disappoint.
House spiced chicken wings- Grilled chicken wings glazed with a chilli spiced sweet sauce tasting strongly of jaggery and mildly of achar. Topped with fried garlic and served with a side of grilled corn on the cob, toast and sliced onions. This one is not for the weak.
The sweet sauce with the seriously fiery kick had all the chilli enthusiasts licking their fingers after every bite!!
Coorg murg dry fry- Dry chicken fry with south Indian spices served over a waffle made from dosa batter. A fine example of glocal's creative fusion. The dish had a comfortingly familiar taste.

From the mains we tried
The Ravioli cheese burst- Ravioli in a tangy sweet butter paneer kinda sauce (without the actual paneer of course) Glocal's take on Italian Desi fusion. The creamy sauce perfectly complimented the cheese stuffed pasta.
Smoked butter chicken- Classic creamy butter chicken served ostentatiously with charcoal smoke at your table with a side of chur chur paratha. In the name of fusion, the smoked flavour in the chicken was too mild if noticeable.
Chicken Khow suey- Egg noodles in a creamy coconut sauce with tender chunks of chicken served with fried onions, garlic, peanuts, cilantro, green onions. The most comforting and satisfying item on the menu. These Burmese dish was done perfectly and called for for an encore.
We also tried the churrasco chicken, smoked butter paneer and the gongura mutton fry.

From the dessert section the masala chai Panna Cotta with it's unmistakable chai flavour stole the show. A cup of kadak chai turned into a smooth creamy panna Cotta.
The waffle brownie was another classic crowd pleaser. A warm, chocolatey, crumbly, rich waffle served with a scoop of basic vanilla ice cream.

My recommded must haves from Glocals menu will definitely be the Khow suey, methi malai nanza, coorg dry fry, house spiced chicken wings, smoked butter chicken and the masala chai panna Cotta.

Glocal Junction have come up with a new branch in Jubilee hills located just next to China Bistro. I just loved how they have done the interiors. It is very spacious with a section of seating just after entering. They also offer another different section exclusively for party nights.

Started my meal with their Teen been salad. Pretty much refreshing and had a really subtle flavors. The pineapple olive oil dressing was itself super tasty.

For starters, I tried their Methi malai Naanza, Veg cornetos, Falafel in pita, Churrasco Chicken, Coorgi Murgh, House spice Chicken wings and Chicken Adana.

Methi Malai Naanza:- This was a kind of boat pizza which was baked to perfection. The base had methi infused toppings along side malai sauce. Truly lip smacking.

Veg Cornetos:- They were really beautifully crafted papad cones which were stuffed with a mushroom and spinach mince. For sides, it was served with roasted chana jor and some fresh coriander. They need to work upon their cone and its consistency. The filling itself was well prepared.

Falafel in Pita:- Classic middle eastern inspired dish. Fresh falafel were wrapped inside pita and was served with a really creamy hummus dip. I really loved this dish.

Churrasco Chicken:- So this dish comprised of chicken that was marinated in a really satisfying, tangy herb infused sauce and was served on top of a flat bread. The meat was super moist and tender. Highly recommended.

Coorgi Murgh:- Coorgi Murgh was inspired by the southern flavors with a really spicy curry based marination. It gave a really nice taste of coconut just to mellow down the spiciness from the dish right at the very end. It was served on top of a waffle. Good dish.

Chicken Adana - A classic turkish delicacy, their version was really mildly flavored chicken. The kebabs were served on a flat bread with Harissa, Hummus and fresh onions tossed in black pepper and lime. Pretty decent dish and is a must try.

House spice Chicken Wings - This one was a killer dish. Classic chicken wings with a really crispy skin and juicy meat was fabulous. I would personally suggest you guys to have a go at this one.

For mains, I had their Smoked butter paneer, Ravioli cheese burst, Gongua Mutton curry and Khao suey chicken.

Smoked butter paneer- I found this dish average. Apart from the smoky texture, it was more or less a really average paneer with a bit disappointing chur chur naan. Need to work on this one.

Ravioli Cheese Burst - Perfectly prepared Ravioli was served in a tangy, desi Indian sauce. Well attempted dish.

Gongura Mutton Curry - The mutton was really chewy and the it lacked the flavor of a typical gongura infused gravy.

Khao Suey Chicken - This was certainly one of best dishes of the evening. Super flavorful coconut based sauce with a really mellow lemon grass flavor, served with springy flat noodles, this dish was the star of the night! Highly recommended.

For desserts, I had their waffle Brownie and Beeramisu. The best of the lot was the brownie waffles. The waffles were moist and fluffy, the amount of chocolate in them was perfect. Served along side vanilla ice cream, it was a delightful experience.

Overall, my experience was good. Apart from 2-3 places of improvement, I see them doing really well in the coming days. Happy eating.. :)

Glocal Junction is back in Jubilee Hills with an all new avatar. Fusion food is either a hit or a miss. There's no middle ground, and glocal sure does many hits! Their revamped menu consisting of some of their all time favorites and some newly launched innovations is sure to wow you. The ambiance is super contemporary with leather sofas and patterned tiles. While the ground floor is more of a dining area, they also have an entire floor dedicated to the party freaks who want to shake a leg.

We began our dinner with a couple of starters - teen been salad and a root vegetable salad. Unlike regular salads, these were aesthetically very pleasing. Served with a pita cracker and hummus, these salds were both decent. They tasted fresh and had clean flavors.

Then came in an array of some innovative starters.
The vegetarians had the following:
° Veg Cornetos - mushroom and spinach mince filled in papad cones served with some chana choor. Though the filling was flavorful, the cone was a disappointment. It was too soggy and very difficult to chew.
° Falafel in Pita - hot falafels snuck inside soft pitas served with a hummus dip. Good textures and flavor.
° Methi Malai Naanza - best of the vegetarian. Super soft naan base with methi flavored toppings and a malai sauce. Must try!
° Paneer Sugarcane Sticks - a paneer mash on a stick of sugarcane, pan grilled. This somehow couldn't strike a chord for us. It lacked texture and was falling apart.

The omnivores had a chicken feast in the starters.
° Chicken Adana - mildly flavored minced chicken sheek kebabs served on a flat bread with hummus and harissa. Very subtle flavors. A mild texture improvement would make this a bomb dish.
° Churrasco Chicken - juicy chunks of chicken marinated in on a herby sauce served with a flat bread. The chicken was super juicy and fresh. Do try!
° House Spice Chicken Wings - flavor punch! Be ready to get your hands dirty with the saucy wings! Beware of the spice!
° Coorgi Murgi Dry Fry - boneless chicken chunks fried with some super awesome South Indian spices served on a utappam kinda waffle. Out top pick! Must try!
° Guntur Chili Chicken - super soft batter coated chicken chunks tossed in a spicy sauce with a South Indian touch. Must try!

The mains came in and they were a slight disappointment compared to the starters.
Veg Mains
° Ravioli Cheese Burst - al dente raviolis served in a makhni kinda sauce. A desi twist on a very Italian dish!
° Smoked Butter Paneer - the flavor of the butter paneer was similar to what one usually finds in other places. The presentation and a slight hint of smokiness makes this one different. There was also a chicken version of this dish. The curry was good but the chur chur naan served was hard and crumbly.

Non Veg
° Khao Suey Chicken - one of glocal's best dishes. Super flavorful coconut based sauce with the quintessential lemon grass flavor, served with springy flat noodles, this dish was the star of the night! MUST TRY!
° Gongura Mutton Curry - this one lacked the gongura flavor and the mutton was way too chewy. Passable.

For desserts, we had Masala Chai Pannacotta, Waffle Brownie and Beeramisu. The Pannacotta was creamy and had a good masala chai flavor. We somehow couldn't come to terms with the Beeramisu. The best of the lot was the brownie waffles. Gooey waffles with the perfect amount of chocolate served alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream, this was a star dessert.

Overall, glocal leaves you in awe with the presentation of it's dishes. Though there were a few misses, few dishes like the khow suey were fantastic. Service needs improvement. The portion sizes were a tad smaller keeping in view the prices. Most dishes are just for one person.

Rating:
Taste: 4/5
Ambiance: 5/5
Service: 3/5
Value for money: 3.5/5

Follow our food journey on insta and Facebook @thepunjabihyderabadiduo

The place is right at the beginning of Road number 45 and they have dining on ground and the first floor. The ambience is very nice with different seating options like comfortable couches, semi private booths or normal chairs for 2/3 people.

The food was very tasty. I definitely recommend “Khakra” .. the combination they have done is actually cool. We also tried Pav Bhaji Fondue and the pulao .. both were delicious as well.

Would have given this place 5-stars if not for the desserts. We ordered the Beeramisu and Kolkata Pan cheesecake .. both were okay .. nothing much to write about in my opinion.

Barring that, we really liked the place and I would definitely go there again to try out their other dishes.

Glocal Junction had been on my wishlist but they shut it down before I could plan a visit. Now, it's back with a bang at the same place as before, Road no.1 Jubilee hills, near China bistro!

So, we were there for a session on a Thursday evening.

Glocal Junction has it's own aura! The entrance and the glow sign board with the Hindi letter 'ka' definitely stand out! And the vibrant ambience, I just fell in love with it the moment I entered!

The staff were courteous and always attentive with a smile on their face.

Now, coming to food, each and every dish we had, including salads tasted amazing!

We were a group of 10-12 foodies (the other tables were fully occupied too) and they could still manage us really well.

What we tasted:

Salads:
Teen bean Salad
Root Vegetable Salad 👌

Starters: Veg
Veg Cornettos
Falafel in pita
Methi Malai Naanza👌
Paneer Sugarcane sticks👌

Nonveg:
Chicken Adana
Churrasco chicken
House spice chicken wings❤️❤️
Coorgi Murgi dry fry👌

Mains:
Ravioli cheese burst❤️
Smoked butter paneer👌
Khao Suey chicken
Gongura Mutton curry

Desserts:
Masala chai pannacota
Brownie waffle❤️
Biramisu👌

Special mention has to be made about their beautiful presentation, especially the cocktails.

Besides all, the live music by Saregama band had turned the evening more beautiful!

So, will I visit GJ again?
A big hell yeah!

#GastroHogger #LetsHog #GlocalJunction #VidesiJunctionIsBack #LongPostAlert
Its quite a current trend to bring in videsi twist on desi cuisine, well only if you get it right. Glocal Junction did impress me in this aspect but was saddened when they closed their Jubilee hills outlet but I think they heard us, the new refreshing, vibrant looking outlet is back at its den. The new fresh look with family section at ground floor and more peppy section for party and lounge type crowd at 1st floor, keeps it clean and likable. I loved finally how they got rid of their aluminium plates and classy black cutlery gels in beautifully with the decor. It's simple, its elegant and definitely more inviting now.

Coming to food, they have done quite a few changes here as well. With a curated set menu for review, we were in for a gastronomical feast with dishes flying from kitchen at steadfast and impressing us.

From starters, my top picks would be
#TeenBeanSalad (salad with 3 types of grams, which is super crunchy n healthy as well), #ChickenAdanaKebab, #FalafelInPita. Star of the night was definitely #HousSpiceChickenWings, the super tangy and sweet wings (jaggery a bit overdone but adds a whole new flavor profile and gives it more BBQ perspective, DON'T MISS IT. #Cornetos was super cute and single bits which you will love. From mains, #RavioliCheeseBurst with again an Indian twist impressed me with the subtle ravioli and tangy sauce. Unfortunately the #SmokedButterChicken pleaded more smokiness and #GonguraMuttonCurry was a big let down (Which personally I had high expectations).

Fear not, Desserts took us for a heavenly wave as all my favorite classics from their initial days are back.
#MasalaChaiPannaCotta, if you are a chai lover, you are to get addicted. #Beeramisu - Unique and interesting dessert (contains beer) but got subtle sweet notes that you will crave for more. #WaffleBrownie was basic and not quite my fav.

Top 2 things for that makes this Glocal damn impressive yesterday
Cocktails from bar (Skull - gin based and Black Magic - whiskey based), both were top notch . N in came Abhijit Gurjale (who I became a fan listening in Farzi cafe brunches) who just with his magical compositions stole the show PERIOD.. Man u r a rockstar.. The regional band Sarigam Project was pretty engaging and impressive Good job guys.

Overall Glocal Junction Hyderabad (Jubilee Hills) has definitely UPed their game and proved they are good at what they do and service staff stood testimony to this outcome. I hope they deliver - be consistent and get back on track as they used to buzz earlier. All the best team

Glad that Glocal Junction is back to it's place where it belongs!! So, i had the time to go this place last Saturday with my food blogger squad. The ambiance was quite good and warm, The ground floor is specially for dine in and the first floor is exclusive for dancing (A Pub).

The dishes that were served to us were too good, my personal favorite being the chicken Adana kebab. On the whole a great experience.

MUST VISIT PLACE

"Desi food with a modern twist!"

So, Glocal Junction is back with a bang at It's former spot i.e, Road No. 1, Jubilee Hills! So foodies out there, can anything get more exciting than this right now?
Ambience- As usual, the place is set up in two levels and is really spacious. The interiors are lit with a bunch of light bulbs hanging from the roof at the entrance. So there are different seating options on ground level- Beautifully done cabanas/ Luxurious sofa style/ Regular seating! There's a lovely bar set up too with high chairs. The flooring is done with patterned tiles using their signature colours- Black/ Red/ White that complements the decor so well. Upstairs is purely dedicated to party animals with DJ set up, ravishing dance floor and a few tables around!

Food- So, I was here with fellow bloggers the other day and we tried the following,
SALADS
* Sprouted teen bean salad- The presentation was mind blowing you guys! It was a mixture of sprouts and other veggies in a pineapple-olive oil dressing. Comes along with a crispy cracker. Highly recommend this refreshing salad! ( 5/5 )

* Roasted roots( veg )- It was a mixture of grilled vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, beetroot, etc. along with lettuce. It was very light and fresh. ( 4/5 )

APPETIZERS( VEG )
* Lavash cornetto- Grilled mushrooms and hummus stuffed in mini wafer cones! Comes along with fried chick peas. ( 4/5 )

* Cheesy tandoori broccoli- Broccoli marinated in curd, cheese and other mild spices was grilled to perfection! It was topped with generous amount of cheese. Must try! ( 5/5 )

* Methi malai paneer naanza- As the name indicates, 'Naan' + 'Pizza' toppings = Naanza. This fusion dish was the show stopper you guys! A huge fluffy naan was topped with shredded paneer, methi, olives, red capsicum, cheese and mozarella. My favourite from the veg section! ( 5/5 )

* Falafel in pita- Falafel along with hummus and salsa stuffed in a soft pita! Comes along with potato wedges. It was simply delicious. ( 4/5 )

* Paneer kebab on sugarcane sticks- Mashed paneer and veggies along with cheese was shaped around sugar cane sticks and grilled. The kebabs lacked 'sugarcane' flavour somehow! ( 3.5/5 )

NON VEG
* House spiced chicken wings- Chicken wings marinated with in-house spices and sauces was cooked to perfection! They were juicy and spicy. Must try. ( 5/5 )

* Churrasco chicken- Grilled chicken chunks marinated in herbs and spices was layered on a spiced naan and topped with loads of cooked onion threads! ( 4/5 )

* Mutton adana kebab- Minced mutton rolls marinated in arabic spices was cooked in a tandoor and layered on spiced naan! The presentation was pretty much similar to churrasco. It was simply delicious! ( 5/5 )

* Coorgi murgi dry fry- Appam waffle topped with perfectly cooked chicken chunks marinated in south indian spices! It was garnished with curry leaves, onions and coriander. The waffle base tasted bland though. ( 3.5/5 )

MAIN COURSE
* Burmese khao suey( chicken )- Hand pulled noodles along with chicken cooked in coconut milk and other Asian spices was served in a bowl. Comes along with side dishes. It was authentic and delicious. ( 4/5 )

* Smoked butter paneer- Paratha served along with butter paneer gravy! It was presented with smoke. The gravy was rich, creamy and flavourful. ( 5/5 )

* Gongura mutton curry- Plain rice served along with mutton cooked in gongura! The gravy was a let down.

DRINKS
"Do not miss their Cocktails!"
Apart from their Glocal cold coffee, we also tried cocktails like Skull, Turkish mule, Black magic and many more! Honestly, they serve the best cocktails in town. The presentation was top notch as well.

DESSERTS
So we tried Masala Chai Panacotta, Beeramisu( contains alcohol ) and Brownie waffle. Masala chai panacotta was the best! Beeramisu was something unique and is a must try. Brownie waffle was just basic and decent.

The staff here are very polite and friendly you guys!
VFM- 5/5; Service- 5/5

The concept of fusion food has been around for quite some time. Not everyone dares to play with it as it takes some serious culinary smartness. Also an audience that can get it. Glocal Junction is definitely the most successful name in this department. Their innovative and perfect mix of Indian and western delicacies and the state of the art presentation is unmatched.

We started with a couple of salads and both of them were just an example of great fusion food techniques. The roots salad was an interesting salad with a variety of veggies tossed in Olive oil. The fusion here was the crisp cracker that was served with it and Hummus on the side and also pickle!
The 3 bean salad has 3 different beans and was again served with cracker, hummus and pickle!
Among starters, Chicken Adana was the star! Turkish Chicken kebab, served with various grilled veggies and then given the desi twist with a chilli, pickle and served with hummus. A must try at Glocal.
My all time favourite at Glocal is House Spiced Chicken Wings! These peri peri chicken wings set your mouth on fire but trust me, that's the beauty of it. Spicier, the yummier.
Veg Cornettos is another gem, specially for the vegetarians. A spinach and mushroom preparation filled in wafer cones and served with spicy crushed corn, this is a fun starter!
Methi Malai Naanza is a fusion pizza where the crust is Naan and the toppings include fenugreek and Paneer! Another item Vegetarians will love.
We never miss the Khao Suey here, one of the best Khao Sueys available in Hyderabad.
Desserts are always interesting at Glocal and this time they've taken it to another level.
Masala Chai Pannacotta was a gem of a dessert. Not very sinful, this Pannacotta that looks and tastes exactly like a masala chai is a masterpiece in fusion food! Served just like tea in a kullad with osmania biscuits.
The chocolate brownies that are given shape of waffles were big, gooey and had the perfect chocolate taste.

Overall an amazing dining experience. If you're bored with same set of delicacies served at restaurants, you deserve a visit to Glocal Junction.

Prices are just as much as their competitors. Service was excellent. Shoutout to Chitta, the guy who waited our table. He's experienced and quick!

Hello people! I’m back with yet another tasting, and this time it’s the new-age all-day dining resto-bar which unifies the global and local elements together, Glocal Junction. Glocal Junction is a place where a group of friends or families can come and enjoy mouth-watering food along with a variety of drinks, in a very industrial environment. The restaurant starts as a soothing space as the day begins and converts into a high-energy casual night spot by sundown. The additional feature is the screening facility available here. The multi-cuisine menu serves an amalgamation of global cuisines with a twist of regional flavors. We had a chance to have our dinner at this fabulous place, and here’s our take on it.
Zubair Mohammed Iftekhar
Wow is the right word to describe this place which has a fusion of Global and Local Cuisine. Right from the central location to ambience and more importantly the mouth watering food, Glocal Junction has it all.

I was there with my Foodie Buddies for dinner and we had a wonderful experience. We started off with a few mocktails including Virgin Mojito, Pomegranate Lemon Ginger and Tangerine Lemongrass Cooler. Loved the presentation style and my favourite was the tangy Lemongrass Cooler.

Coming to Appetizers, we had Sprouted Teen Bean Salad, Ravioli Cheese Bust, Cheesy Tandoori Broccoli and Methi Malai Paneer Naanza. Salad decoration was innovative while Ravioli Cheese Bust was my favourite with cheesy flavour all around. Naanza was new to me and I loved the soft bread with all its toppings.

We followed this with a few dishes from Maincourse which included Chicken Adana Kebab, Achari Fish Tikka on Grilled Naan, Rubiyan Meshwi, Thai Chilli Fish and Paneer Butter Masala. Adana Kebab was excellent with Arabian spices along with Achari Fish which was fabulous due to the day long marination. Rubiyan Meshwi (Prawns) was delicious and Thai Chilli Fish was yummy as well with Spaghetti.

We signed off with a couple of desserts mainly Waffles with Brownies and Masala Chai Pannacotta. Both were lip smackingly good.

Service was spot on. I would like to give a shout out to our amazing servers Kiran, Rahul and Moses. Overall, a nice place to chill out. Look forward to experience again soon.
Destination 19th Jan 2019- Glocal

Glocal has been around for a while and going by their element of catering to global tasts and remaining local at heart, they live up to their name.

Ambience: designed as the new age all dining and bar experience. This place has the looks and the confort of a luxury dining experience.

Food: we started out with some refreshing mocktails, proceeded by salad and mains.

Course 1: the Virgin Mojito is definitely a must try for a cooling experience. Takes the edge off the hard long working week. Crushed perfectly this drink has a minty yet subtle hint of lemon taste to it.

Course 2: Sprouted Teen Bean Salad made up of cannellini beans, kidney beans garbazo beans, celery, red onions and parsley with a sweet and sour dressing looked perfectly inviting on plate and perfectly good to my taste buds.

Not a salad person? The Cheese Tandoori Broccoli or the Meethi Malai Paneer Naanza might be the start you need. The broccoli was cooked to perfection topped with cream cheese, a delight to eat. The meethi malai was also a mouth full of flavor, true to its roots.

Course 3: we tried the Achari Fish Tikka on Grilled Naan, Rubyan Meshwi and Paneer Butter Masala. This place lived up to our expectations of blending in the global with the local. Every bite was a burst of flavors and we didn’t know when to say enough. The portions on the meals are good for one individual. But I would suggest bring in a group and try a variety.

Service- we had a pleasant welcome and the waiters were well aware of the menu Glocal offers and they served us with a smile, making the experience wholesome.

Rating: In for some fusion food which knows its roots, get up and get yourself go a Glocal.

Hola ppl we are back once again with an interesting review.
.
Shall we begin.....

Back to base. Yes our own glocal is back to business at their very own place at Jubilee hills. Craving for some fusion food & experimental to feed your palates then glocal Junction is the place for you. They have revamped this place with lower deck & upper deck. Lower deck has the dining area with normal tables & private space for Cabanas. Upper deck has the clubbing area. As we know Glocal is know for the experimental cuisine. Let's see what they have for us.

Appetizers:-
From Appetizers we had the "Teen bean Salad" which is a mix of sprouts, beans and tinge of pineapple flavour in it. "Root Vegetable Salad" which has grilled veggies, sweet potato topped up with some of chat masala. "Methi Malai Naanza" a desi fusion version of Naan & Pizza with malai topping on it. **Should be eaten hot**. "Cheesy Broccoli" though I'm not a big fan of broccoli, here the broccoli tasted very mild & subtle in taste with the creamy cheese on it. " Falafel in pita" this was the first time I'm having a pita bread & it tastes excellent with the stuffing of falafel, mayo & salad in it. "Paneer Sugarcane Sticks" mashed potato & panner cutlets assembled on the sugarcane sticks. The sticks were perfect in taste with crct amount of spices in it. "Chicken Adana" chicken marinated well in herb spice mixture served with a naan bread which go perfect with it. "House Spiced Chicken Wings" chicken well marinated with house spice mix & fried well. The wings were spicy, juicy & succulent. You need to get your hands dirty. French fries were accompanied with these which goes well with Chicken wings. "Coorgi Murgi Dry Fry" chicken dry roasted with spice mix served with appam waffle. Appam waffle was bit down to me, as it became soggy and tasteless if it's cold.

Follow our insta handle Dino for more interesting food updates.

Main course:-

"Khao Suey" it's an Burmese dish which comes with flat noodles cooked in coconut milk, this was the first time I have tried this, but to some reason I didn't like it. "Smoked Butter Panner" this is another fusion dish of bringing smoky flavour to the dish. The panner was creamy enough & subtle in taste which is good. "Gongura Mutton rice" I was surprised by seeing this on the menu, but the chef has done almost a good job in creating this dish, though there is little bit of flaw in it. The sour tinge of Gongura was missing in it. If the chef focuses on it, I guess it would be a must try dish here.

Desserts:-

You could see the whole experimental cuisine over here. "Masala Chai Panna cotta" As Panna cotta is an Italian dessert of sweet thickened cream they have introduced an Indian version by making with Masala chai. It tasted yummy with Osmania biscuit as accompaniment and caster sugar drizzled over it. "Brownie Waffle" waffle served with brownie base & icecream as accompaniment which could relish all your palates. Here comes the show stealer for tonight "Beeramisu" it's an upgraded version of Tiramisu. Chocolate & beer do go well, the chef has owned full marks for this dessert. You could feel the beer maltness as well as the sweetness of masacarpone cheese both at one go. I would totally recommend this beeramisu. I love the froth on it.

Drinks:-

From the Drinks section we had best cocktails as Vishal suggested us few. They are Turkish mule, Skull, Basil & Watermelon Smash, Tropical Jack, Chuski Shots & mocktails. Mocktails & Cocktails tasted good. Do try out their Glocal Cold Coffee which tastes simply superb.

Well this is my honest opinion on our own glocal Junction. Best for party place, to hangout with friends, colleagues. The dishes hydfoodie recommends are Methi malai Naanza, Hot spicy chicken wings, Smoked butter panner, masala chai panacotta, beeramisu (must try), Glocal Cold coffee, Chuski Shots, Turkish mule.

Ambience :- 5/5
Taste :- 4/5
Serving :- 4/5
Overall experience:- 4/5
VFM:- 3.5/5

Do follow our insta handle Dino for more interesting food updates.

The gravy was not tangy enough and lacked depth of flavour

Chai Pannacotta - a smooth pannacotta served with osmania biscuits 5/5

Brownie waffles with ice cream - Classic chocolate waffles 4/5

Beeramisu - a different take on tiramisu with beer 4/5

They have a varied range of cocktails to pair with the food and is just the place to be to enjoy a fun meal with your close ones!

There are a few brands in the city that have upheld their reputation time and again through their flawless service and customer experience. Glocal Junction is one of such places that has proven its mettle in Kondapur and is all set to create the same buzz in Jubilee Hills..The property is typically Glocal like, extremely posh and well decked. The seating area on the ground floor is an amalgam of cabanas, couches and fine dine style seating so that there is one for everyone. The first floor is dedicated to party animals who can enjoy their drinks on the dance floor..What keeps one returning to Glocal again and again is their experimentation with cuisines where they throw in two polar opposite styles and come up with something unique and fresh. The menu at their Jubilee Hills Branch is no different. What we had:Salads: Tean Been Salad and Fresh Roots Salad, both of which were fresh and light with a dressing of olive oil and a halo of crispy Lavash bread that made each bite even more interesting.Starters: Methi Malai Naanza: This was a Naan-cum-pizza that had a humongous loaf of Naan topped generously with Malai and Cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed this and feel it was one of the most filling starters we tried.Veg Cornettos had Lavash bread cones filled with hummus and veggies, served with roasted chanas and lemon. Although I enjoyed this dish, I feel that they can work a little on the quantity.Falafel in Pita: This was another stunner in the menu that had a generous helping of ground chickpeas stuffed in pita pockets with hummus and salsa.Main Course: I can not stress enough how much I loved the smoked butter paneer. It was cooked in abundance of cream and butter and every bite was as rich and delicious as it gets.Drinks: Well the drinks here are a work of art. We tried Turkish Mule, Tropical Jack and Dulce Franchesca. My absolute favourite was Tropical Jack that had Jack Daniels with strawberry puree and was finished off with sliced strawberries and passion fruit.Dessert: Hands down one of the most creative desserts in town. We were served Waffle with Brownie, Masala Chai Panacotta and Beeramisu. My favourite pick was Beeramisu that had Tiramisu infused with beer.Follow Unsophisticated Foodies on Zomato and Instagram for more reviews and pictures :)

Having been part of this city for so long, Glocal Junction is one brand which doesn't need a second introduction. After making their mark on the IT crowd of Kondapur, the place is back to its former spot at Road Number 1, Jubilee Hills in a brand new attire, loaded with an all new decor and an eclectic selection of dishes in the menu - some old favourites and some all new. The revamped Glocal now sports a proper dining friendly atmosphere on the ground floor with lounge style couches, beautifully lit cabanas and an elegant restaurant style seating space, keeping their first floor all for the party animals with a charming dance floor.

While the inherent aesthetics of the ambience are undeniable, it's the newly curated menu that provides glimpses of beauty, sporting the amalgamation of global cuisines with a twist of regional flavours that Glocal is famous for. The dishes rightly sport the combination of various ingredients and techniques evolving the former and presenting it in a more progressive avatar. My meal for the night began with the serving of house special Teen Bean Salad and Roasted Root Salad both of which set the course right. While the freshness of both the salads was the selling point, the addition of crispy Lavash bread with the light dressing made the dish even more enjoyable.

The appetizer course saw yet another round of stunning dishes, both for the vegetarians as well as the non vegetarians. Methi Malai Paneer Naanza - hot and fluffy Naan bread topped with a creamy Paneer concoction with a generous helping of cheesy spread and Lavash Cornettos - crisp Lavash cones filled with rich Hummus and sauted mushrooms were my favourites from the veg section. Paneer Kebabs on Sugarcane Sticks too was a good dish having a flavourful Paneer mash wrapped on the sugarcane but I expected some element of sugarcane to be brought into the Paneer which left me a tad disappointed.

For the non vegetarians, Chicken Adana Kebabs and House Spiced Chicken Wings were the messiahs of the night whom the whole non veg party bowed to. Adana Kebabs had an Arabic influence with subtle spiced minced chicken kebabs on top of a Harissa loaded spicy bread served with a salad side of fresh onion rings and a creamy garlic aioli, a dish which I would love to finish all by myself. Being their hot favourite dish, House Spiced Chicken Wings came from the original Glocal menu having baked skin-on chicken wings loaded with paprika based spice which packed a punch with its heat. Coorgi Murgi Dry Fry was another star with niblets of chicken tossed in a south style marinade loaded with curry leaves served on top of a Appam batter waffle which provided a great flavour balance.

The mains too were so pleasing both in the aroma as well as the looks that I had to dig in even with an almost-full belly of mine. For the vegetarian party, Smoked Butter Paneer Masala was the star of the night served alongside a flaky Laccha Parantha, all of which was served under a cloche imbibing the smooth smoke right off the hot charcoals. The non vegetarians went a trip down to the South East with a humongous portion serving of Burmese Khao Suey which came with a delectable coconut cream curry and a selection of condiments to go alongside.

The desserts at Glocal were what I would call the highlight of the whole meal. Be it their Masala Chai Pannacotta or their Brownie Waffles with Ice Cream, the balance of sweetness with other savoury elements just hit bullseye each time. My personal favourite however was their Beeramisu which was a boozier, beer loaded version of a Tiramisu which came topped with beer froth providing that hint of beer but the same old lusciousness of well prepared Tiramisu. The service too was on par with the brilliant food with the ever efficient serving staff keeping a keen eye on each and every table, taking care of every diner with utmost promptness and warmth. Kudos to the kitchen for maintaining the flow of food to the tables. All in all, Glocal Junction has always been a crowd-pleaser in each department be it the ambience, service or the food and this time was no exception. So be it for a dinner with friends or a cocktail party with colleagues, this place is a must try!

Glocal Junction is back at Jubilee Hills in a brand new avatar and the new decor is refreshing with leather sofas and bright lighting. The place is spread over two level with dance floor at the upper deck.

The menu includes dishes from various cuisines and their presentation impressed me the most, almost every dish was served with a unique and creative plating. We tried two salads, Teen Bean Salad and Root Vegetable Salad, both again were plated creatively. In starters we had, Zaituni Chicken Tikka, Chicken Adana, House Spice Chicken Wings, Coorgi Murgh Dry Fry, Methi Malai Naanza, Falafel in Pita and Cheese Broccoli. Of these, Zaituni Chicken Tikka was super delicious and we couldn't resist ordering for another serving of it. Coorgi Murgh too was good, with a nice subtle taste of Coorgi spices. 'Naanza' is a fusion of desi Naan and Pizza and with the Methi Malai topping tasted great. Vegetarian starters generally don't impress me much but the Falafel in Pita and Cheese Broccoli here were great.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Khao Suey on their mains menu, I will not say it was as good as I had at authentic Asian restaurants but it was good enough for a pub. Other item that we tried in mains was Gongura Chicken, full marks for putting this on menu but it was average, missed the sour taste of Gongura. Desserts menu again has some unique creative dishes like Masala Chai Panna Cotta and Biramisu, the Panna Cotta with Masala Chai flavor was delightful.

Must try for me – Zaituni Chicken Tikka, Coorgi Murgh Dry Fry, Cheese Broccoli and Masala Chai Panna Cotta.

We also tried few cocktails from their menu, their team of bartenders lead by Vishal did a great job. We tried Basil and Watermelon Smash, Tropical Jack, Skull and Turkish Mule, all of these again were presented very well. Tropical Jack was mixed to perfection and we loved it. Turkish Mule, served in a huge copper tumbler, this is a jaljeera based cocktail.

Overall this is a nice place to come down for some good food and drinks.
Totally dedicated to let loose.

Coming to food:
Tean Bean Salad : Amazing presentation and this crispy and crunchy salad is a must try here.

Root Vegetable Salad : Presentation on point and the diced veggies tasted so good.

Starters:
Methi Malai Nanza : A very unique fusion of naan and pizza.
A huge naan topped with methi malai olives mayonnaise.
It tasted great surprisingly

but have it as soon as it is served ( basically hot) or the naan might get dry and later it might be like naan and sabzi.

Cheesy Broccoli: I am a huge broccoli lover and i must say this cheesy broccoli was perfectly boiled, perfectly crunchy and the cheese on it was the best part. It wasn’t too cheesy which was the best part. Must try.

Paneer Sugarcane Sticks: This was again a fusion where the paneer rolls were served with sugarcane sticks which looked like lollipops These are shallow fried lollipops. Tasted really good. Very soft and delicious.

Falafel with Pita:
This was again well presented. This tasted like harabhara kabab in pita. It tasted good but was dry on my pallette.

Maincourse:
Smoked Butter Naan:
This was naan and paneer butter masala presented by adding some smoke.
The panner butter masala was a total star dish for me. Amazing flavours and tender panner, perfectly made naan not at all dried. Perfect Combo.

Desserts:
Beermisu : Fusion of Tiramisu with Beer . Amazing Presentation.

Masala Chai Pannacota : The best Presentation i have seen so far. A perfect picture for Instagram i would say.

Waffle Brownie: Waffles served with icecream. Glocal Junction, Hyderabad reopens their second branch at Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills. They have a nice set up and ambience, with an upgraded menu. They experiment with their menu, and the results never disappoint.

SALADS:
I was never fond of salads, but Root Vegetable and Teen Bean salads from Glocal changed my mind, and I loved them.

STARTERS:
VEG
Veg Cornetos – These are mini cones filled with mushroom. They’ve an amazing taste.
Falafel in Pita – While I usually love Falafel, this was towards the drier side.
Methi Malai Naanza – This has to be one of the best veg dishes I ever had. It’s bread topped with mozzarella cheese and olives.
Paneer Sugarcane Sticks – A really new and interesting concept, but, the paneer was really dry.

NON-VEG
Chicken Adana – Sheekh kebab, which is well marinated, served on a roti, and complimented with onions and chutney. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish.
House Spice Chicken Wings – These chicken wings were spicy and their masala dominated its taste too much. Other than that, this dish was decent enough.
Coorgi Murgi Dry Fry – Chicken pieces served on waffle, another interesting concept. The chicken was spicy but tasty.

MAIN COURSE:
VEG
Smoked Butter Paneer – Smoked paneer with the most delicious gravy, it’s perfect.

NON-VEG
Khao Suey Chicken – I did not like this much. It was towards the sweeter side.

DESSERTS:
Masala Chai Pannacotta : Decent enough.
Waffle Brownie : Doesn't need an introduction.

#foodandbikes
#foodtastingsession
I was here today evening with my friend. I really loved the ambience, very perfect lighting.
Coming to food, we had ordered achari fish tikka on grilled naan, tandoori aloo barrels and Coorgi murgi dry fry.
Achari fish tikka, I liked the most. It was very flavourful .
Tandoori aloo barrels, I didn’t like it that much, as I found the aloo a bit uncooked.
Coorgi murgi is super spicy South Indian chicken recipe. If you like spicy food, go for it.
And in drinks, I ordered Tangerine lemongrass cooler and I loved it.
.
The food was really good here but the best part is the staffs here. They are so friendly and they come to check if everything you have ordered is liked by you or not. For me, I didn’t like the aloo, so immediately the plate was taken and the corporate chef himself walked to us and tried to understand what we didn’t like and looked into it.
