Review Chinese Pavilion - Hyderabad

Nasir Mohiddin
Taste is excellent, service is fast and courteous. Welcoming and helpful staff. The place is small but neatly maintained. All dishes we ordered were freshly made with good quality ingredients. Food is not so spicy so you can take children without any qualms. Has Valet parking.

Chinese Pavilion is renowned and celebrated for its perfect fusion of flavor and affordability. The restaurant's interior design is tastefully executed, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. The elegant simplicity of the decor, featuring Chinese lanterns and captivating paintings, adds to the charm. The ambiance exudes warmth and is an ideal setting for a delightful dining experience with family or friends. The staff is impressively trained and attentive to guests' needs. The service is impeccable, with the captain understanding our preferences and offering insightful menu recommendations. My dining journey commenced with the delightful Chicken Manchow Soup, skillfully balanced in spiciness and garnished with crispy noodles. For the main course, I indulged in the Chicken Hakka Noodles and Chicken in Oyster Sauce Gravy. Both dishes were culinary masterpieces, boasting exceptional flavors and more than generous portions suitable for sharing between two persons. Chinese Pavilion's eighth consecutive win as the best Chinese restaurant in Hyderabad speaks volumes about its consistent excellence. I undoubtedly endorse this place to anyone seeking an exceptional Chinese dining experience in Hyderabad. The combination of mouthwatering dishes, outstanding service, and generous servings makes it a must-visit culinary destination.

They serve delicious and authentic chinese dishes. I really loved their thread chicken. This place has an amazing ambience.
Praveena Injamuri
Visited the place a couple of times. First time I just loved all items. Second time it was good, I enjoyed it. The quantity of the food is more. A starter or soup and main course (Noodles and Sauce) was more than enough for 3 people.

Have Always loved the food here. This is our family's go-to Chinese restaurant. Never disappoints. Manchow soup, American chopsuey, prawns, bamboo rice and chicken fried rice are delicious. Only critique I would have is that they could slightly improve their lamb dishes.

Awesome place. Great food. Excellent customer service. The menu has a great variety for both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. We binged on the excellent soups and starters. Among many others, I highly recommend their crispy lotus stems and Tom Yum soup.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and did not disappoint me. Cozy little place with decent ambience and good authentic chinese food. The portion size was great and the prices were reasonable. Altogether a nice family restaurant, worth visiting đŸ‘đŸ»

One of the oldest and finest Chinese restaurent in Hyderabad. Many believe this restaurent as the only authentic chineese one. Everything was great including food, taste ,service, price. The only drawback of this place is it has stairs and cannot be avoided.
Hrithik Saluja
I went to this Chinese dining place located in basement section of the building. The decor and air conditioning is very good. The staff is prompt and so is the food service. We ordered veg sweet corn soup which was average. Main course was Veg. Fortune rice and Veg Manchurian gravy which was very tasty and enough for 3 people .

I had an amazing experience at Chinese pavilion today! The food was top notch. Everything was perfect just like how we had asked them. I even savoured my left overs :). Service was very good too! Highly recommend this place for a good, comforting Chinese meal. My 4 year old son loved everything too.

We were deeply disappointed with the quality, taste and the quantity of the food delivered against our online order yesterday.<br/>The food clearly was not prepared by any professional chef, the Dragon rolls that we ordered were clearly stale, tough and chewy
Not worth even the effort to chew (even if one were to forget that we paid over â‚č400 for it). The noodles and chicken were quite bad as well, not worth putting in the effort to order and wait. It was a disaster for us.<br/><br/>We are rather regular in ordering from Chinese Pavilion and has been usually quite satisfied with their quality of food, though their prices are a bit steep.<br/>

I have ordered for home delivery Veg Schewan Fried Rice Veg Chopsuey and General’s Tsao’s Chicken. The noodles in the Chopsuey smelled oil, the fried rice and chicken dish were reheated and absolutely no taste whatsoever. No freshness in the Dishes. Giving 1 Star rating as there is no 0 Star.

Authentic Chinese recipe served by bunch of sweet and friendly staff.<br/><br/>Really nice and tasty food. Good options for vegetarian junta aswell.

Cozy place with that downtown chinese restaurant feel. I tried the feking fish which wasn't part of the menu but was recommended by the chef. It was really amazing . I also tried the mongolian chicken and the American chopsuey. It was one of best i had in a while. Service was on point and fast. I recommend this place as worth a visit.

Asian Creamy Soup (4/5): It’s primarily coconut milk with a few veggies. I quite liked it. If you really enjoy coconut flavour, this is for you.<br/><br/>Bamboo chicken (2.5/5): It was not for my palate. It is cooked in bamboo and hence not fried. I wouldn’t call it bland but it lacked flavours.<br/><br/>Bamboo Rice (3/5): I liked the way it was presented. It’s very light on flavours and nice.<br/><br/>Waterchest nut, Asparagus and Babycorn (3/5) : There was nothing distinguishable about it. It went well with the rice but if you are looking out to try something new, this won’t surprise you.<br/><br/>Cost: 1650(inclusive of GST) for 3<br/><br/>The service is great but a little slow. <br/>The place is underground and there’s a chance you may miss it. It’s in the jahapannah building.

On a rainy day, wanted to have hot soup and Chinese pavilion was on my list to cover so headed to Banjara hills branch.<br/><br/>IAM glad my decision was right we has chicken manchow soup it was thick and awesome exactly how I wanted, we were suggested to go for mangolian chicken for starters and it was good chunks of chicken without cornflour coating tossed with Asian spices.<br/><br/>For mains we wanted pot meal with rice and greavy, so on recommendation of captain we ordered Chinese pavilion special rice. Lot of veggies chicken and prawns gravy on a bed of steam rice It was yummy.<br/><br/>Looking at our check-ins one more friend who was nearby joined and we ordered Chinese choupsuey chicken ,it was great.<br/><br/>Would definitely visit again as there is lot to explore in the menu.
Adnan
I should say this is the best and economical Indian Chinese restaurant you can find in hyderabad. I have never seen it empty it’s always crowded.
Ankit Sondhi
This place has been a ever favorite since we moved to Banjara Hills. The hospitality and the quality of food hasn't changed in these years. My favorites are the Chicken Manchow Soup, Chook Cook Rice, CP Noodles , Willy Chicken and their Pan fried Noodles .<br/><br/>I order almost every week from here and there are very few instances when we had any such issue with their food .
Chef Rushali Kundu
Heard a lot about this place, the chimney soup was filling but not that great. I loved the fish in crab meat sauce and chicken in mushroom sauce. They were very different and lipsmacking. I also tried their pan fried noodles which was very good.<br/>What I did not like was the flat noodles, banana leaf wrapped chicken. They were very bland.<br/>Litchi with ice cream was nice
SMART RESOURCE
I have been here many times however todays experience was the best. To start of the taste of Chinese is the best I have been to many over exaggerated chinese places including a few in the 5 star's let me tell you they cook the best they are reasonable 6 of us soups 2 starters 3 main course was just 3000, ambience has always been good very fresh and gleaming last but not the least the service staff is trained, full of etiquette and quick. Must visit place.
Dheeraj Reddy
A pretty decent place to have Chinese food. The quantity of food is satisfactory but the cost is a bit on the higher side. The vegetarian menu could be slightly improved
Khan Syed
Best chinese in town. Excellent in quality and taste. Decent ambience. Home delivery available. Never been disappointed with the food. Try chinese chopswey or Chinese Pavillion noodles for a change

One of best Chinese restaurant in the city with prompt service and courteous staff. The ambiance is serene, with music blending with the place.<br/><br/>Must try:<br/>Bamboo Rice: Lovely light flavors<br/>Chicken with Green pepper: Tender chicken pieces in mildly spicy, sweet & tangy sauce, this was great with the rice!

We(wifey n me) are more of tandoori, barbeque and Biryani people and on any given day if we have to choose for a dineout we always prefer buffet. But, for a change we wanted to try a-la-carte Chinese cuisine. After a little research on Zomato, we found Chinese pavilion is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Hyderabad, who were also awarded with the same title twice.<br/>Coming to restaurant though it is present on a busy main road, once you are in you would feel as if you are in a secluded, calm n serene place. Regarding ambience, place feels like an art gallery are the exact words used by my wife. We were attended by multiple guys and they were all really nice, not a single in-convince. In food we tried Jade chicken soup, which was thick with good amount of minced chicken, we liked the soup. In starters, we tried Satay chicken and butter garlic prawns, satay chicken was little on sweet side which was not of our taste but again that was on us as we didn't check about that with anyone, but the butter garlic prawns were really good. In main course we tried Fook chook fried rice which was the best thing we had. It is egg fried rice topped with good amount of chicken mushroom babycorn, carrots and green peas. We ended this decent lunch with chocolate volcano with ice cream, which was fine.<br/>Would I recommend this - Yes, this is a very decent restaurant with a pretty good chef
Rashika Tamang
the clear wanton soup was so plain had to throw it all. the hakka noodles was ok, if lesser would have tasted better. the quantity was good.
Hari Haran
It was quite sometime that we tried a new place for Chinese since my wife always liked Alex Kitchen at Himayatnagar.<br/><br/>Chinese Pavilion is a small yet cozy and calm place. I liked the restaurant setup which lived upto its hipe all over the Internet. This resto was awarded best Chinese for 4 consecutive times. Its worth it.<br/><br/>We were just 2 of us and tried 2 starters and 1 main along with non alcoholic Peach flavoured beer(malt).<br/><br/>The cripsy filled mushroom was just above average in taste but the winner was the crispy water chestnut snack. A perfect mix of Chinese spices with crispy water chestnut.<br/><br/>For the mains we ordered their own specialty veg manchuria with gravy and burnt garlic fried rice. Both complimented each other perfectly. Their manchuria is not regular rounded balls but flat like discs. Loved the taste to the core.<br/><br/>I must say that we will visit this place again and again.<br/><br/>The service was good & quick.<br/><br/>Overall its a 4.5 star for me.
Dr. Foodie
One of the most highly rated chinese restaurants in town. Love their kung pao chicken and chilli chicken in oyster sauce. American chopsuey is delicious too. Must visit place!
Srikavya
I love this place for many reasons.. This place used to be my drop in place for lunch when i was working in Banjara Hills. Now the frequency as come down but I do make a point to visit when I'm around this place. The food is so tasty that we can just keep drooling during the waiting time. I still remember how I craved for their sauces that they give as accomplishments for starters during my pregnancy. Their specialities Bamboo rice, fuk chuk rice, teppam Soba noodles and their addition of sprouts, tofu, potato are all so unique and tasty. A aunthetic chinese restaurant and a very beautiful one.
Syed Uzair Qadri
Probably a good chinese restaurant I came to after a very long time. <br/>The manager was very helpful and friendly. The staff is great! <br/>The food.... worth every penny! <br/>For sure would come again.
Mahendra J
I visited this res't 12 years back along with my mother , expecting the same type of crisp baby corn manchuria. 2 other new visitors along with me last night also were in a dismay and disappointment because the veg-manchurian dry didnt cook well inside, the baby corn was 'kacha' inside.<br/><br/>HOWEVER IT SHOULD BE WORTH MENTIONING THAT the soup was great and schezuan noodles were too AMAZING, WHICH are available in a near by small hotel at our place.I doubt if non-vegetarian serving restaurants care for vegetarians any more.
Kamlesh Murudkar
This is from the early days when we had just shifted to Hyderabad and wanted to explore which restaurant served the best dimsums. We visited this restaurant for Dinner and ordered their Chicken Dimsums. Portion size is really good and they serve 6 big dimsums in a dish which are semi transparent and really tasty. Would love to visit them again to try their other dishes.
Ekta Bhatia
This ratings is only for the momos i had..their chicken momos is a meal in itself.. Their portion size is good.. Comes in 6 pieces in a plate..Would definitely go again to explore other items on their list..

Restaurant is pretty decent. The staff was courteous we were well seated. Coming to the food, we ordered manchow soup, Manchuria and fried rice. Manchow soup was good and it was spicy which I personally enjoy hence thumbs up to that. Fried rice were well cooked and tasted good. Manchuria was over cooked hence it was not edible so that was a big disappointment. On complaining the staff offered to replace it which was something very appreciable. Overall a decent place with courteous staff.

Visited the Chinese Pavilion last evening for dinner. Ordered the spicy crab meat soup and clear lemongrass chicken soup to start off with. The crab meat soup was heart warming and absolutely delicious. The chicken spring rolls that came in next was crispy with just the right amount of filling. Ordered the burnt garlic egg fried rice with wolly chicken for the mains. The fried rice was excellent with crunchy bits of the burnt garlic in every bite and the wolly chicken (stir fried chicken with garlic, spring onions and dried red chillies) complemented it well. The honey noodles for desert to very nice too. The overall service was excellent - attentive yet not intrusive. These guys won the best Chinese restaurant at the Times Food awards very recently and I’m not surprised - they are one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in the city.

Somehow forgot about it and Haven’t been to this place in years and ordered home some food. Absolutely loved it, my 4yr old son enjoyed more<br/><br/>We had mangolian chicken, General tsao’s chicken eggs fried rice. Quantities were decent and thanks to zomato for good discounts as I could order the food at low price :)
Swarna Chaithanya
Every glutton’s dream place. Lipsmacking is all I can say! Ideal for a late lunch. Ambience is a big plus for this restaurant (not the washrooms though!) Service could have been a lot better!

This is arguably one of the best places to eat Chinese food in hyderabad.<br/><br/>The ambiance is pleasant with melodious music playing in the background. The staff is courteous while the service is prompt.<br/><br/>My order included -<br/><br/>Chicken Manchow soup - One of the best I've ever had! MUST TRY!!!<br/><br/>Chicken Dumpling - Six huge dumplings which were cooked well. This dish is pricy for its portion size.<br/><br/>Shanghai prawns - A marvelous mix of spices and heat to turn the prawns into a hero.<br/><br/>Schezwan Fish - A beautifully cooked mildly spiced fish.<br/><br/>Vegetable Bamboo rice - Do not try this if you are expecting fried rice. The dish was well cooked with generous chunks of pumpkin and carrots.<br/><br/>Mixed American Chopsuey - One of the few places in hyderabad which serves decent American chopsuey without turning it into a desert. Inform the staff in case you don't want a runny omlette which is their default serving style.<br/><br/>This place is slightly on the pricier side but the food is well worth your money.<br/><br/>
Shaik Amjad
Ordered shezwan noodles nd chicken manchuria from this place and it was good.... will try more items soon as it looks promising.....although they can improve in the quantity

Perfect place to enjoy Chinese cuisine. Loved everything about this place. The ambience, the service and specially the food. Chinese Choupsey is a must try

Chinese pavilion was known for its quality but all that impression shattered when I got myself some food home delivered from the restaurant today. I specifically ordered for Soba noodle because I do not eat maida and Soba is supposed be made out of buckwheat flour. To my happiness I find Teppan Soba Noodle on Foodpanda menu and I go ahead and order with 100% trust in Chinese Pavillion for its brand.<br/><br/>But I receive a cheap maida noodle bag with no veggies in sight and just oodles and oodles of oil dripping on maida made noodles. When I call the restaurant, they mock me for "not knowing what a soba noodle is" which in their dictionary is just "hakka noodle with butter". The executive rudely cuts me off when I try explaining what Soba noodle actually is and asks me to talk to the owner if I need any further explanation. I call the owner who again cuts me off saying his menu never said soba is buckwheat noodle and "teppan is hot and soba is noodle. Hence it just means a hot noodle". This is like serving cheap ice cream made out of hydrogenised vegetable oil and not milk cream but saying "Why are you complaining? When did we say its made out of cream. We just called it ice cream because its cold!"<br/><br/>Whats the point of paying that premium to a premium restaurant if you get a sub grade experience? Never trusting these people again nor stepping my foot in that restaurant. Be aware of what you eat there!!
Kamran Hussain Khan (Intensefoodcravingsblog)
The restaurant had been recommended by several people . Staff were very helpful especially helping to ensure the food we ordered was okay for one of our group with a food intolerance. The food was lovely and plentiful. We all had a lovely time.<br/><br/>

I ordered food from Chinese Pavillion on Swiggy last night. Not only was it delivered to me very quickly it was also delicious! The Chinese and American Chop suey(s?) were my favourite. The American chop suey was kinda sweet, but that's the way I like it anyway. Overall a good food experience. Thank you! :)

The Food was great, freshly cooked, tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. Overall a good meal...

Been to this restaurant Good number of times. One of the best Tom Yum soup in the city. Starters are really good.<br/>Took my frns praising the restaurant, but was disappointed badly in the last visit. Soup wasn't great, starters were burnt, oily. We couldn't even finish the plate.<br/>Hope they keep up with their mark.<br/><br/>

One of the authentic Chinese kitchens in Hyderabad! <br/><br/>Been there many times for mid-day meals and dinner <br/><br/>Must Try:<br/>Banana Leaf Chicken <br/>Fook-Chu Rice <br/>Korean Noodles <br/>Chinese Tea<br/>Crab Meat Soup<br/><br/>My rating:<br/>Ambience - 3/5<br/>Food - 5/5<br/>Hospitality - 3/5<br/>Hygiene - 3/5

The restaurant is hidden underground😂.<br/>The best part of this restaurant is the smiling door man .<br/>The kimchi salad is served for every table 10 mins after sitting down .<br/>The manchow soup was extremely filling .And my fav among the food we ordered.<br/>The chicken sapoa dish had that burning taste to it ..which is expected out of authentic Chinese dish. The dish comes to the table with it's own heater . Which is a really cool visual. The schezwan fried rice was not spicy and perfectly saucy.<br/>The fruit punch was too sweet ..wouldnt recommend it.<br/>Not costly on the pocket despite the fact that it is located in banjarahills.<br/>People who like Indian flavoured Chinese food might not like this place<br/>

Ordered chicken cp rice and hot veg CO rice rice was also less for the amount paid

Been coming here since more that a decade and is one of the most well maintained and consistent restaurants around. Tucked away into the lower ground floor on Bhills, road no1, not many people know this place. But of course it has its own die hard clientele. However, the reason for writing this review is to give a constructive feedback back to a place I like. Went there with cousins who were visiting from the US, and took up a fairly large table. Most of the items we're pretty good as always but was terribly dissapointed with the Veg Manchuria. The pieces were large and absolutely bland with loads and loads of atta. Probably was not as much fried as needed. All the talking I did about the restaurant earlier that day while chosing a restaurant for dinner had gone to the dogs. Hoping this was a one off day and they are still as good as they always were.

Low on spices and rich on flavour, Chinese is my goto food option. I am thoroughly versed with great Chinese/Oriental places across India. I would rate Chinese Pavillion right on the top alongside the best. Delightful menu. Serves up a good variety. Aunthentic prepaprations. Good service. Definitely try the Bamboo Chicken and Golden fried shrimps.<br/>One thing that I especially love about the place is its distinctly Chinese aroma-a hint of sauted vegetables, a twang of vinegar and chillies, full flame recipes, a multitude of sauces and a hint of batter coated fried meats. Heaven.
Arpita Rudra
This review is loooooong due to say the least. Chinese Pavilion has been one of my favorite Chinese hunts in Hyderabad. It was perhaps in 2002 or 2003 that I first ate at this restaurant and was completely bowled over by the taste explosion. 2018 and they are still going strong. Kudos!!<br/><br/>I am yet to try a dish from the menu (which is fairly exhaustive) that did not appeal to me and my friends. Some of my personal faves are Chimney Soup, Sea wars, Crispy Lamb, Bamboo Rice, Pot Rice Lamb in Wolly sauce and Black Bean Chicken Noodles.<br/><br/>The service is prompt and the Manager/Owner is simply fabulous.<br/><br/>Great food and good service, a winning formula through and through! Highly recommended.
Archit Mathur
really appreciate and the food we also yummy.

After a long time i found some good restaurant which have delicious and tasty food. <br/>Ok so my first time visit to this restaurant and i am fully satisfied with the taste.<br/>Ambience is nice bit cozy but who cares if you spent money and found good taste. Waiters are very well mannered and service is good.<br/>Highly recommended for chinese food.

Amazing Chinese food. The service was quick, and the food was tasty. The chicken manchow soup, tepan noodles and Cantonese prawns are my favourite dishes.

Best Chinese food in the city by far! Love the noodles and chicken in banana leaf! If you’re in Hyderabad, and love Chinese food, you have to go here!

This review is for the vegetarian food. Seeing it's rating I went there with lot of expectations. The ambiance also looked great in pics. But when I reached there I found it to be a decade old theme type Chinese restaurant in terms of ambiance. First thing we were served was a plate of kimchi and sweetish cucumbers (not so fresh). In the menu they have vegetarian options added separately in the second half of menu. Unlike many typical Hyderabadi restaurants they had ample options for vegetarian in the menu. I ordered this coconut milk based Asian secret creamy soup with my previous good experience from another good Chinese restaurant. Along with that I ordered crispy lotus stem for starters. Soup was not good and quantity was a lot as I ordered full soup. Lotus stem being one of my favorite dishes totally disappointed me. It was crispy but tastewise it didn't match any of the places I have tried it at, earlier. Infact it had some very odd seafood type smell in it which I couldn't stand so I had to leave everything. Finally I got walnut brownie with ice cream which was just okayish. Brownie was soft but but sticky and vanilla ice cream was a cheap sweet one. For total of 2 soups, 2 starters and 1 dessert bill came around 1400 which is like bit too much for this kind of food. Probably my first and last visit. And yes my stomach got upset few hours after this experience.
Trupti Bhandari
I ordered for pan fried noodles with some sauce and I don't think I've ever eaten food that tastes this bad.
Tej Ken
The soup was very spicy , noodles were overcooked and very oily,

The only thing negative I can think of this place is of its location which allows very little parking options. The food here was pretty good and the options plenty. Its not the usual cliched Chinese food that we get almost everywhere.<br/><br/>The flavours are honest and the range of dishes good.<br/><br/>Will definitely come here again for the great food and service
Bushra
taste is not bad bt price is high for the taste.

Been at this place for a couple of times. They serve very good Chinese food. Ideal for family and friends. Very polite and courteous staff. Would surely visit again.

The best place to have Chinese. The decor & the ambience is so soothing. Myself with one of my colleagues went for lunch here. Only ordered a soup, honey chilli chicken and fried rice with lime sode and diet coke. I must say that the chilli chicken was the best I've eaten anywhere in Hyderabad.<br/>The staff is very polite and courteous. The service is quite prompt.<br/>A must must visit for every one who loves Chinese cuisine.
Khusro
the food is ammmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaazinggggggg.<br/>no doubt about that at all....<br/><br/>i would suggest that they get their prices down just a little bit and it will become the best chinese restaurant for me in the twin cities.
Richard Rao
Best authentic Chinese food in the city, never fails to amaze me with quality of the food. The ambience adds to the brilliance of the restaurant!
Raj
Good food, great taste. Do try Chicken Teriyaki in starters. Restaurant seems to carry a lot of legacy and ambience of the past. Premium pricing, but portions absolutely worth it. Excellent service and dish on table in no time post order. Sort of underground location and difficult to spot but for valet waving outside.
Vishnu Nimmagadda
Never been a big fan of Chinese cuisine but decided to give this place a shot based on a friend's recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed the food and was impressed by the service. My favorite item by far is the chicken in banana leaves. Definitely a must try.

Took my parents here after hearing wonderful things about it, and it's not a surprise why they've been voted the Times Food awards best restaurant for 3 years in a row now.<br/><br/>The servers were polite and courteous, and prompt. The ambiance is warm, if a little small and a little cramped. But the star attraction is the food, which was quite simply the best Chinese I've ever eaten in Hyderabad.<br/><br/>The Tomyum soup was perfect for me and my father, the shredded chilly lamb was scrumptious, and the crab on toast was crunchy yet tender and delicious. I'm a big fan of the choco-lava cake as well, best served with a side of ice cream.<br/><br/>Can't wait to visit again.
Sukesh Tony
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. I’ve visited it multiple times with both family and friends to both branches and the food has never been less than excellent. No doubts, the best seafood in the city but also amazing variety of rice and noodle dishes. I highly recommend to anyone who loves good Chinese food.
Sarat Kollimarla
This is the best authentic Chinese food I have ever tasted in India. I came back from New York last week and Chinese Pavilion was the number one thing to visit in my bucket list . Before I moved to NYC, I used to come to this restaurant very often and I am very happy to report that the food still tastes great. The sesame potato on toast is so delicious that it makes me want to come to Chinese Pavilion at least once a year from NYC. In addition to the sesame potato on toast, egg fried rice and chocolate volcano with ice cream is a must have!

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to ! Crab on toast and chicken in banana leaf are my favourites here . The soups over here are exceptionally good <br/>

One of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to in a really long time..pricing may seem a little high but considering the quantity n quality of food served it was well worth it.. Right from the starters to the main course everything tasted yummy.. <br/>Our menu included - <br/>Veg corn soup<br/>Sea wars (fish, prawns n squid)<br/>Potato fries<br/>Egg noddles<br/>Choice of vegetables<br/>Veg Dimsums<br/>

Went with couple of friends... Nice ambience and the crowd was less compared to other Sundays... Ordered chicken sweet corn soup, Mongolian chicken@, chicken hakka noodles and Chinese chicken choupsey... Soup quantity and taste both were on par. Mongolian chicken was tasty and left little space for main course.. Chinese choupsey was a bit different from what we expected and didn't like it... Overall experience is nice.. good staff, service is prompt and ambience is good... Overall a must try

Visited this place two weeks ago. We had the entire place to ourselves sparing a table, perfect for a calm lunch on a Sunday afternoon. <br/>We tried their lemongrass chicken soup which is everything you'd want a soup to be with the right hints of sourness.<br/>For main course we tried their bamboo rice and will chicken. The bamboo rice is subtly flavoured with star anise and goes well with the garlicky chicken. I didn't enjoy the black fungus in the rice but the flavour and taste was on point<br/>Must try for authentic chinese food.

Absolute crap of a chinese restaurant when it comes to quality of food.<br/><br/>Lets start with the ambience which is decent, nothing grand and infact feels very dated and dull. Feels a little overcrowded as tables are placed very close to one another.<br/>The cutlery is very low standard and should be upgraded at the earliest.<br/><br/>The food was a disaster.<br/><br/>We ordered Sweet Corn Chicken and Manchow soup with Thread Chicken. The waiter suggested Mongolian chicken as one more appetizer.<br/><br/>I think within a span of 3 minutes the soups and starters were at our table. They dont even know that first soup needs to be served then the appetizers.<br/><br/>The Thread chicken was not even hot considering it is deep fried, maybe it was microwaved and even the Mongolian Chicken had no flavor just red color and chilli paste. Absolute waste.<br/><br/>The Manchow soup again had no flavor and the Sweet Corn Chicken had less vhicken no corn and more egg white.<br/><br/>The quality of the rice used in the Schzewan fried rice was pathetic or it was prepared well in advance and was again just heated in the microwave.<br/><br/>The Manchurian chicken gravy was ok ok but again no flavor to it.<br/><br/>Only the American Chicken Chopsuey was decent yet had unnecessary amount of carrot with a lousy piece of egg omlette.<br/><br/>Chicken Hakka Noodles were again dismal with no trace of chicken and very low quality noodles used or again maybe was prepared well in advance and just heated.<br/>Only I can say that the quantity was good but quality of food was pathetic.<br/><br/>Now coming to the service. That was the only saving grace where the waiters were quick.<br/><br/>I dont understand the motive for switching off the AC when the restaurant is occupied 75% but switching it on when there were only about 2 tables occupied with a total of 8 ppl which included 6 in our group.<br/><br/>I will also appreciate that for 6 ppl they joined 2 tables and made it a 10 seater which gave us room to breathe.<br/><br/>No one was even bothered to ask us how our meal was but the waiters were more interested in clearing our table.<br/><br/>Would not recommend nor ever visit again.<br/><br/>

The mongolian chicken and crispy lamb are amazing starters!!! Their basic haka noodles are the best goto. Mixed with some chili chicken its a perfect combo. The service is lovely. Overall its a great visit. And a definite goto

Fantastic food especially the Banana Leaf Chicken which is just out of this world. Never disappoints and never ever a sad face at the end. The prices are average too. And it's the perfect place to have a nice chat, and to top it off the staff is courteous. What more could you ask for?

Totally loved the place and the ambiance. The food is amazing .. the price is worth the time spent in this place. Perfect place. Good option in veg, non vegetarian starters and main course. All the best.

I visited the Chinese Pavilion on a rainy night. It is situated a floor below so you actually have to step down below ground level. Just before our food arrived we were served two varieties of sauces - one was a dried red chilli and soya sauce while the other one was a sweet based coriander sauce. Next we ordered the Mushroom Pepper Chilly. This was prepared with button mushrooms tossed with garlic, onions and chillies garnished with spring onions.

Been here for a dinner with my wife and I must say this place definitely lived up to my expectations.I was greeted warmly at the entrance and were offered a beautiful table that was on a slightly higher level compared to the restaurant.we ordered 1.spicy crab soup 2.Fish Crab meat sauce and 3.Chicken Munfun. The taste was very delicious and the fish was delicately cooked. But one thing that stunned me was the quantity of the servings which was so good.I never saw such good portions being served till now. The service was also prompt and polite.<br/><br/>Price 4/5<br/>Quantity 5/5<br/>Service 5/5<br/>Food 5/5

5star to this restaurant is also less i can give lot more.<br/>It has actually given me the feeling of any Chinese restaurant of "Park Street Kolkata".<br/>Food is just wow it has excellent Flavors. I tried:- 1. "Jade chicken soup" this a thick soup with spinach paste. People who don't like spinach will actually won't opt for this soup but guys just try this soup once you will fall in love with spinach, Even m not a spinach lover but i trusted the staff who suggested me to have this.<br/>2. "Chicken Banana leaf" this is also now one of my favorite as chicken was cooked in Banana leaf , it has a very delicate Flavour which i'm in love with<br/>3." Chinese pavilion noodles" this one is there special gravy noodles with mixed veggies like mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn etc. Generally one prefer gravy noodles either with steam noodles or with fried noodles but this dish actually has both fried & steam mixed & its just yumm.<br/>4. "Honey noodles with ice cream" this one is actually my favorite dessert whenever i go to Chinese restaurant I prefer to have this desert if they have in their menu.<br/>Anybody after having this much of food will think that the bill will be 1500 or more but i was shocked when the bill arrived. It was just 1300with taxes, <br/>I m ready to pay this amount for this delicious food.<br/>Even with delicious food , ambiance was also nyc & staffs were well behaved..

Let's start with ambience... it was bad.. the place looked quite Meehhhh.. if you know what I mean.. I went there after a lot of raving reviews but was quite disappointed by their American chopsuey... that's probably because I like a particular kind one. <br/> Anyways let's get to the best part. Once when I was craving Korean black bean noodles and this was the only place which had that and it was sooo good. Good enough to satisfy my craving. The starters are quite good. You should try their not so common items. Like bamboo shoot rice and stuff. I love their stuff. Though little on pricy side. You (who ever you are) should give it a try.
