Review Haiking - Hyderabad

Divya Pinky
May be Chinese people will like this taste but personally I didn't liked the dishes..only veg fried rice was good..
Yaksh Kishore
Great place for an authentic Chinese food. The taste and food quantities and quality is equally matched to the service provided by the staff. Loved the ginger chicken and hakka noodles. The fresh lime soda was just the best thing post the dinner. Had an amazing time with my brothers and the ambiance was little quietish.
Afiya Anjum
Heart warming atmosphere with mouth watering dishes. Had a great time here. The prawns was the show's topper for me.

Nice, quiet place tucked away right alongside Rd No 36 Jubilee Hills. The ambience is great and so is the staff. I must say, the food has a strong desi touch. Overall a good place to visit though.

Went to this place over the weekend without many expectations and totally random and surprisingly the place amazed me with quality of food. When we went there in the evening it wasn’t much crowded and few very tables were filled which were later occupied over some time. Food: Tried their veg haiking soup, vegetarian noodles and Manchuria gravy. Soup quantity is just right when shared (but if u r a lover of soup like me then you might want to have some more), noodles are soft and delicious. Manchuria gravy is neither bad or nor great. Just okay. Service: Service is okay. Helpful but not helpful. When asked for suggestions not many options were given. It was like the attendant knew only a few handful standard names to suggest and suggested them only. It would have been better if he had suggested some good options with more enthusiasm. One such suggestion which was given was Manchuria gravy for noodles which isn’t the best… Also when asked for chopsticks, the attendant gave me chopsticks of two different sizes. Ideally he should be knowing to give them as a pair(right ones) it would be great if these small things are looked into and corrected.

Liked the place and its Ambience. Also the food is really good. Its basically a chinese restaurant so vegan items are less compared to non veg items. I tried veg items and all the items were really good. It worth the money. Also its very spacious. You can also take good pictures there as the ambience is very good. It feels like you have come to some chinese place. The restaurant is decorated with chinese statues and photos. It totally worth the money. You wont be disappointed.

I've been to this place today and had a very good lunch. Chilli prawn was amazing and so is their fried chicken noodles. Had a wonderful vanilla choco dessert. Very good atmosphere, good seating arrangement. I did visited this place for the second time with my family and they were all very impressed by the food and atmosphere.

Went back to hai king after almost two decades, family had a great time enjoying the ambience and the food. Brought back happy memories of school and college days .

A very old restaurant in Himayatnagar. Good service. The ambience is good. Quantity of food served is sufficient. However the food taste and quality can be improved. Chicken man chow soup was smelly. Prawn and chicken starters were decent. Mixed fried rice was good. Valet service available, so parking isn’t an issue.

Firstly you charge 600+ for 2 chicken dish!!! And send us a portion of a chicken piece which would not cost more than 100 bucks if bought from a chicken store!! DO NOT LOOT AND EARN BLACK MONEY YOU MORONS
Harsha Narra
First the portion served was too less for the noodles provided and also the taste was very bad...it felt like stale food!

We had lunch here with several friends. The food was very good, hot and fresh. We had a variety of dishes selected by our host. Would eat here again

Ambience is good, Food is good but Chicken Button Mushroom was less in quantity & taste also normal.<br/>Chicken Pakoda was great.. loved it.
Apurva Bhandari
The chicken that they have put in the chicken fried rice is worst. You call can those as intestines of the chicken.

Terrible service from Haiking and Zomato. Complete incompetence and disregard for customers. The delivery person is present at the restaurant with the order details but they refuse to honour citing technical error, despite issuing a confirmation earlier.<br/><br/>Zomato on its part seems very quick to want to issue a refund rather than assist the customer. At the same time the restaurant is showing up as a promoted listing.<br/><br/>Much agony and hunger!!!!

Wanted to try this since so long for my love of chinese. This restaurant is a must try if you love chinese.<br/><br/>We had ordered:<br/>1. Chicken Button Mushroom- Medium Spice Appetizer<br/>2. Ginger Fish - Appetizer<br/>3. Chicken Soft Noodles<br/>4. Chilli Chicken Gravy<br/><br/>Quantity and Taste-wise its totally worth it. You can safely count on this as your go to chinese restaurant when in Hyderabad.<br/><br/>Ambience- 5/5<br/>Food-4.5/5<br/>Pricing-5/5<br/><br/>For more of such reviews follow me Thebigbellybrunette on Instagram!<br/>

Ambience : 4/5<br/>Food : 3.5/5<br/>Service : 3/5<br/>Price : 3/5<br/>The staff is quite absent minded and so is the taste. There is nothing new about the flavours. It's your regular Indian Chinese food palette. Ambience is impressive and the place is neat. Overall it's an average outlet to go for.

Just food

Restaurant has a calm ambience. Food quantity was sufficient and taste was great. Chicken noodles and thread chicken were delicious.

The best Hakka restaurant in Hyderabad. It has been a family favorite place for ages and will remain one as they have been consistent with their food, service, flavors I’m never disappointed

Growing up, this was always one of my favourite restaurants! Over the years, I feel like their quality has deteriorated. Was excited to see that they finally deliver on Zomato, considering for all these years they've refrained from tying up with online partners. The spring rolls were so oily, I could literally fry another round of spring rolls in them. The veg manchuria (wet) was oily as well, and the manchuria tasted extremely bad. The only saving grace were their veg soft noodles, which still tasted the same. Chilli chicken (wet) was decent. Overall, a very disappointing experience from one of the well known Chinese restaurants.

Haiking – A Legendary (40years old and ones a fine dining) Chinese restaurant that doesn’t need an intro for native Hyderabadi’s and Food enthusiast’s. I had this place bookmarked for a long time but slipped my thought when I raved for decent Chinese food & finally could make it this time.<br/> <br/>Beholding the ambiance putting my self 20years back, I could imagine how happening it use to be, which faded with time I suppose but still holding good on its loyal customer base. Definitely needs a makeover to reclaim the lost charm.<br/> <br/>Our order was simple with #ChickenCornSoup, #ChillyPrawns, #ChickenPakoda (accompanied chilly dip ), #GingerChicken, #ChickenChineseChopSuy & none of them disappointed. Fare on its taste.<br/><br/>A satisfying meal after quite a while, over a baatcheet with Hyderabadi nautanki’s 😜. All I can do was actively listen 👂 , LOL deep 🤣 and feel my adolescent wasn’t even close by 😏.<br/> <br/>Bill 1800+<br/> <br/>#chinese #haiking #himayatnagar #hyderabad #wheninhyderabad #food #foodie #itsallaboutfood #lovefoodhatewaste #foodenthusiast #foodblogger #annadathasukhibhava<br/> <br/>ClickEatXploreYo #LiveCEXY

Restaurant is ultra posh. Ambience is lovely Situated on the main road of Himayatnagar. Food is bland. Courtesy of staff is too bad. They weren’t hesitant to care about us when they didn’t have a table for two. We didn’t try much from menu, surely they didn’t have many choices in noodles.<br/>Being a Chinese restaurant they don’t serve shezuwan noodles surprisingly huh?!!
Akhila Boga
We visited this place during a week day , it was all empty and there were waiter's sitting and not even giving the menu until we ask. Pathetic service.<br/>We had haiking soup which was normal in taste. Chicken wontons in garlic sauce , the stuff in wonton was quite less and Chinese chicken chopseuy was not up to mark , it was very bland
Vaishnavi Soma
We visited the Himayatnagar outlet and it was Definitely the best Chinese I ever had. The chicken drumsticks and the chicken soup got me drooling over. The best soup ever. Period. However we ordered prawns ginger fried rice and there were hardly any prawns in there 😅. Would've gave it a 5 🌟 but the fried rice can be improved so giving it a 4 🌟.
Varsha
Having been regular customers here since 15 years, I cannot praise it enough. The food is amazing! Definitely try the bread toast starter and the veg Manchurian. The soft noodles and veg fried rice are also really good. Do try the veg chow almond in the curries.

Beautiful interior as well as exterior and tasty and traditional food too. Yummy ,my mouth is still watering when i think about it . Hopefully I’ll visit it again.

🐲Chinese dinner at haiking Himayatnagar🐉<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Of all the Chinese restaurants I've been too Haiking definitely takes points for me the ambience unlike the dim lit red setup..this place has a lovely seating area bright and blue with amazing eastern decor❤️ makes you feel like you are in a Jade palace🔅🔘<br/>.<br/>.<br/>The food was pretty good, can be improved though,<br/><br/>A bit of a issue was with the food portion not the size but with the proportion of ingredients in the dishes, eg: chicken fried rice hardly had any chicken in it😅 anyways the ginger chicken and American chopsuey definitely took points were unique compared to other places, loved the authentic burnt flavor in the garlic chicken fried rice.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>➡️Overall : 3/5 rating<br/>.<br/><br/>➡️Price : 3.5/5<br/>.<br/><br/>➡️Taste: 3/5<br/><br/>.<br/>➡️VFM : 3/5<br/>.<br/><br/>.<br/>.<br/>#chickenfriedrice #americanchopsuey

Ambience was good n very calming and very authentic Chinese food is Available.but some of the dishes dint meet our expectations.like bamboo rice and burnt garlic rice .
The Greedy Hippo
Its has been there for 40 years !! And its not less than a tremendous feat. But with the tremendous feat , comes with its share of botches. <br/><br/>For starters , I was informed they haven't changed their menu since time immemorial. And that there disheartened me. The menu was generalized and I couldn't find my favorite dishes.<br/><br/>The waiters had been there for 22 years on an average and they lack the chivalry that ought to accompany the outlet's glorious past.<br/><br/>The ambiance could be spiced up a little , it seemed dull to me. It mismatches with the cuisine they offer.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, its not Chinese, its Indian Chinese with Indian flavors dominating the palate.<br/><br/>We had ordered Tappanyakki Noodle, Haiking Noodle and Hot Garlic Chicken. Apart from the chicken, didn't like anything. I usually am fond of Chinese, but this outlet ruined it for me.<br/><br/>It was a disappointing experience and I would not like to repeat it. Advice to management, they need to overhaul the complete experience they are offering . Will visit Haiking Jubilee Hills, to figure out what better they have.<br/><br/>Taste: 1<br/><br/>Ambiance: 2<br/><br/>Service: 2<br/><br/>Value for money : 1

I love chinese food, and this is one of my go to places for chinese over years now. The best dishes here include - bamboo rice and chicken friedrice. The only thing I didn't like was while at dine-in, the chicken in the starter was a bit undercooked(twice). Overall a good experience.
Dhana Naidu
It's a go-to place for dinners for me and my family. The cosy ambience is the best part here. Will never get bored of coming here. The bamboo rice here, can get anyone awe-ing. Always loved the food. Not a single disappointed experience.

Veeerrryyyy baddd <br/>Bad experience of food never ever visit this place the waiters and the owner doesn’t have any sense of talking to customers and the food has no taste my suggestion to everyone never visit this place in food if ur out of food also <br/>Doesn’t have cooking sense and my friends have got food poisoning
Harshita Vempati
Besides wanting to eat Chinese, I chose to go to this dineout looking at the ambience. It has a royal interior and dim lights that go with the ambience. We ordered baby corn Manchuria for starters. It was very raw and uncooked for which we requested them to replace. They said this is how baby corn will taste. After further discussion they agreed to replace it with Manchuria which tasted really good. Veg noodles is mildly cooked with low salt and spices, so people who do not want to have spicy food will love it. Would recommend this, but the baby corn starter was a disappointment. However would like to try the fried rice too some day.

One of the oldest and best Chinese restaurants in town. I visit this place regularly. Their Chicken Pakora is a must try. The staff is polite and their service is prompt.

THE BEST CHINESE IN TOWN. <br/>Have been going here ever since I was a child with my family and never been disappointed! <br/>It’s authentic Chinese that just makes my heart (and my stomach) content. <br/>HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR CHINESE LOVERS
Pradeep Gangaraju
One of the best Chinese Restaurants in Hyderabad. The ambience is great , I have visited this place twice and both the occasions I was not disappointed. The service is courteous and food is delicious. Something new to try would be the Chicken Mei Fun noodles with Lemon chicken.<br/>4 stars only because, I felt it's slightly pricy, however the restaurant is definitely worth visiting more than once.
Vipulbhindocha
The Best Chinese i have had till now.<br/><br/>One of the Authentic Chinese Restaurants. I have visited the place many times and tried different dishes one thing i can say that the taste is really awesome irrespective to what i have ordered.<br/><br/>My Fav Dish: Veg Chinese Chopsuey, tried the Chopsuey at multiple places but the best is served here.
Bibekananda Mohanty
Ambience:<br/>Very good. Has a rustic charm to it. It sets in a mood. A relaxing atmisphere where you can enjoy a quiet time with ur loved one or even crank up a party with your noisiest griup.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Food is tasty but had oil on the plus side. This is the reason i am giving 4 stars.<br/><br/>Price:<br/>Reasonable for the quantity served

Once a legend but in tatters. The once beautiful chinese fine dining flag bearer of Hyderabad is screaming for help and I could really hear it. The interiors still are elegant but need a proper clean up or repair. The food is nothing to write about, everything seemed just average. Service is okay but believe it or not I had to hide a tiny roach by pushing it off the table just so that my friend with whom I visited doesn't see it. Just out of love for this joint. Did not want someone to talk bad about the place. Gave it an other go last week and it was equally bad, hence this review. Dear management, I understand it ain't easy and whatever the problems be, I am sure you can at least improve upon the deteriorating food and taste.
Ashish Gupta
The restaurant ambience is quite good taste of starters of non veg here is plus point and noodles is a must try definitely recommend for Chinese food lovers

Food is overall average but pricing is higher, compared to the chung hua / nanking / kim fung.l range of restaurants.<br/><br/>The entry and ambience of the restaurant have a unique feel to it. We ordered wanton soup which was decent. Veg Bullets and Chilli Paneer both tasted average but were pricey.<br/><br/>The Veg Soft Noodle and Mushroom Babycorn Vegetable were decent. Went in with high expectations but came back thinking that a lot can be done to improve.
Anup Kulkarni
The first thing you WILL notice is the interiors. It's a refreshing change compared to the atmosphere outside. Feels Oriental.<br/>Ordered chicken 65, veg fried rice, and veg stater with garlic sauce.<br/>Chicken 65 was bad. They apparently "serve it differently than others", but the taste sucks.<br/>The veg fried was and garlic sauce was a disappointment.<br/>The thing about old restaurant is that it is difficult for them to change according to the current generation and lose the regulars and not change but retain the regular clients.<br/>I guess they are doing a great job balancing in between.
Varun Ahuja
One of the oldest chinese restaurant in my memory ... visited this place after ages... the Cantonese soup is my all time favourite... the pepper chicken is also a good try... the veg bullet was a big disappointment and was served half cooked ... the service is below average ... the food also isn’t as good as it used to be... the restaurant seemed too noisy .could rate it 2.5/5
Devesh Gupta
Very slow service. It took 45minutes to get chicken noodles and 15mins to serve them. The taste isn't worth the price. There are many other better Chinese restaurants
Surya Teja Alimineti
One of the finest and oldest Chinese restaurants in Hyderabad. For some or other reason, I always skipped this place, even when I wanted to visit. Finally I visited this with my cousins. Unlike me they’re too frequent visitors.😉<br/>Had Veg corn soup, veg starter and they had finger fish starter with egg fried rice. It was totally inviting, I’m gonna try other dishes soon and I’d write about them too.
Lokesh
Place was too good enough to have a get together and when coming to dishes which were too awesome to enjoy and first thing is to ask the chef for today’s special to try something new and coming to vehicle parking it’s fine as I haven’t got any issues for my car parking 😁
Swats#food Lover
Pathetic food......we ordered chilly chicken, pepper chicken, prawns chilly and fish fingers in non -vegetarian and in veg crispy corns (looked like pakora )and spring roll ...every item was tasteless only better thing was soft noodles and American chopsuey .....never going back to this place.... yuck and Chuck
Pooja Prahalad
<br/>Went to Haiking, Hyderguda today. Worst service in today’s time. The attendant dropped momos on the table while serving on our plates, American Chopsuey had too much vinegar and the noodles which is supposed to be fried was just uncooked noodles served with sweet and sour sauce! 😑😑 The attendant didn’t have patience to keep plates in front of us so he basically dumped it all with a thud on our table, letting us pick our own plate. We got the leftover packed. After that was done, it was swung and thrown onto our table to be picked up. Such a bad Sunday dinner, it has spoilt my mood not getting the right food 🤦🏻‍♀️<br/><br/>At the end of it, when we got our bill and swiped the card, the attendant had the audacity to come and tell us that the Service charge isn’t included in the bill and says he’s expecting a tip! For which of the above dude!?? 🙄🙄🙄

This is the oldest chinese restaurant and have been visiting them since 12-15 years but wanted to write a review based on my last visit, which turned out to be bad the quality of food has certainly come down in the past years the soup and the maincourse were the only saviour items in my last visit which were the chinese chopsuey and the friedrice.<br/><br/>The starters the apollo fish, pepper chicken and the prawns were all below average.<br/><br/>Guys you need to pull up your socks if you dont want to be forgetten in the hyderabad food diaries.
Disha Singh Rao
I have been to this restaurant many times but my last visit was nothing less than horrible. Food is really good so as the ambience but the waiters and the staff is absolutely not worth it. When I asked for the complaints book the person sitting at the counter gave me a paper which he knew was not actually meant to be kept.
Goutham
Clearly. Indianised version of chinese. Not authentic Chinese. Veg spring rolls were very oily. The ambience is very good. But food is not upto the expectations. Left us disappointed.

When you are born & brought up in Calcutta, it's really hard to enjoy Chinese food anywhere else in the country (barring a few Bombay eateries). But this one place in Hyderabad rarely disappoints me. This evening's dinner was my third visit here, at the Himayath Nagar outlet and it was as enjoyable as my previous trips.<br/><br/>We ordered for veg hot & sour soup, veg gold coin, paneer 65 & veg Manchurian for starters and while the soup, the gold coin & the Manchurian were superb, the paneer, for the first time, was relatively stale.<br/><br/>This was followed by veg fried rice, tossed veg in ginger & garlic and a veg chilly gravy. Too much veg is bad for my health so I ordered a chilli prawn and finished it all alone since the others with me were vegetarian. All of these were good.<br/><br/>My nephew and his friend came in a bit late and ordered a chilli paneer and guess what, the paneer was stale again. :(<br/><br/>I just hope their quality will not go downhill like many other good eateries who saw a bit of popularity.<br/><br/>Overall, a good experience as ever and always recommended as the best Chinese food in all of Hyderabad/Secunderabad.
Sandhya N
Been patronising this place since the late 90’s. It used to be really awesome in every sense - typical, delicious Indian chinese food!<br/>Sadly, that element has left Haiking now. The food doesn’t demand to be savoured anymore.<br/>Last time I came here, I had the sweet corn veg soup, veg spring rolls and fried rice (veg). Nothing was able to leave a mark.<br/>The place had an abandoned look as well.<br/>Service was good though and has probably improved over the years. But please get the old taste factor back.
Sonali Das
Have been frequenting this place with family for the past ten- fifteen years and we absolutely love the food here. The food has considerably changed over the years but some dishes still taste the same and are amazing. Our regular order is a small portion of pepper chicken, ginger garlic prawn, manchow soup, egg fried rice, veg noodles and almond vegetables chow chow. This menu works for us and we have stuck to it from ages. Although the ambience may seem a little old fashioned ,the food is absolutely fantastic.A must visit place in the city if you are a Chinese food lover.Oh yes they also have a branch in Jubiless hills now but I haven't visited that yet.I love the good old feeling of the himayatnagar branch.
Food Delicacies Hyderabad
Considering that it's a chinese restaurant and have such amazing ambiance with chinese vibes. My expectations were kinda high.<br/><br/>Menu is accurate and most things are available which you don't find these days. My friend suggested to try out Bamboo Rice as she have had it earlier and loved it. And also ordered Lemonades.<br/><br/>Bamboo Rice tasted bland though filled with veggies and chicken. Maybe it were my high expectations which killed the taste but my friend too didn't like it very much.<br/><br/>Will I visit again? Negative.

Hyderabad, I consider this place to be my 2nd Home... Went there on 5th January as it was my brother in law's bday and his boss thot of throwing a party over there... The food was nice... The menu is the same which every restaurant has it... Service was too good... Name it and u get instantly... And the decor is good, but the lights are very dim... It would be better if u plz change those dim lights...<br/>Food-3.5/5<br/>Service- 4.5/5<br/>Decor and Ambiance-4/5

This is an authentic chinese restaurant in a prime location. Parking might look a little difficult but not to worry there is vallet parking. Excellent interiors, courteous staff and the place smells great! Notches up the feel-good factor. Though we find Indian-Chinese items on the menu I feel this place is authentic (I reiterate) as they do not taste like elsewhere which definitely disappoints me. The place is very much a happening one with heavy footfall and quite a bit waiting. So apart from me, must be enjoyed by the rest. :)

When you order for a "Chic. Fried Rice", you need to be specifically mentioning that it needs to be made spicy. Orelse a very bland dish might land up on your table. The food is good. This is one of the very long standing restaurants at Hyderabad.

Hey there if you want to have some good Chinese food and value for money then this is the place to visit with family in Hyderabad. Must try the bamboo veg rice. It’s served in bamboo stick with delicious gravy and rice with lot of veggies and all the veggies are cooked perfectly without loosing their color which makes your food appealing for all the senses. Not to forget the crispy corn which just pops in your mouth with adequate crisp. The vegetable fried rice and veg Manchuria is deadly combination for the kids as they are really mild for kids and healthy with lot of fresh vegetables . The kids will enjoy the ambience specially the Chinese statues and all the Chinese decor gives you feel good factor . Thank you to the haiking team of Himayathnagar for making this family visit a memory .

I visited this place for dinner and really didn't like the food here..Or I'm not sure if it's just the choice of food.<br/>Okay..So starting with the ambience, its quite good with Chinese decor and music.you'll definitely feel those Chinese vibes, but what really matters in the end is the food.<br/>I had pinned so many hopes after seeing a lot of positive reviews from many..We've ordered fish fingers, mix noodles, canton soup and all of them were BLAND... May be a sauce Could have added some flavor, but we were given only chilli sauce which didn't satisfy our tastebuds.<br/>Only life saver was caramel pudding which is well balanced between bitterness and sweetness.
Hussain Abbas
One of the very old and famous restaurants here in Hyderabad. It's my families constant dinner place whenever we wish to have Oriental. The starters, soups and especially the Lemon Chicken gravy are really really good!
Vivechana Kiran
From the ambience to the serving of dishes to the fab taste - all give you the feel of a proper Chinese restaurant. The bamboo fried rice, ginger chicken semi-dry, chicken-soup are all worth trying.<br/>Service is quite fast and good. Spacious ambience is good for a family dine out.<br/>I've been to this restaurant since my childhood and love the food here.
Sandeep Raja
After long time visiting this restaurant and almost had all the veg items the only negative part is poor service and quality food . Rest is all same. <br/><br/>Need to improve their service <br/><br/><br/>I can frankly say it's a top-notch restaurant in Chinese version of food.<br/><br/>One of the restaurant in my WishList has been ticked now as everybody said it is one of the oldest restaurant in himayatht Nagar and the best Chinese restaurant I ever visited, because the quality and the quantity has been matched perfectly. I have come with my family and I enjoyed the different cuisines especially the vegetarian dishes which are available in the menu like soups noodles and Sanchez fried rice and American Chopsey. One more thing that is I really like the environment which is so gloomy and especially the Fish tank really got attention to my kid and enjoyed the delicacy over there.
Dr.Sharath Chandran
Good food. The interior theme is authentic Chinese. Food too is good. Wouldn't call it authentic as the starter we ordered was too spicy to be Chinese. It's a Hyderabadi take on Chinese cusine
Vikram Pande
Good food.... nice ambience!!!<br/>Courteous waiter good service... We were well looked after. Portions size is good. Starters and main course was nice.

We ordered Teppanyankinoodles and it tasted very bad and the chicken in it was reeking. We complained them instead got no response except a waiter came up to ya took the plate off without saying a word

A childhood favourite!! Always order their Finger Fish and their Chinese Chop Suey while we're there. The staff is always very courteous and nice. My family always reminds me of an incident where one of the waiters saw me struggling with my chopsticks and tried to teach me how to use them. Loved the place then, love it now!
Sandeep Udgirkar
One of the best authentic Chinese restaurant I have been too. Their vegetable bullets and manchow soup is a must have. Insist for discount. Ambience is wonderful and there is valet parking available.

Food was ok but the staff was very rude, they tried to insult my dad when he left a small tip for the bearer...<br/>My family and friends will never visit this place again....
Veda Jonnalagadda
It's a cozy place with beautiful ambiance. Hakka noodles and Veg Haiking Soup are my favs. This place has been maintaining its glory for years now and is still one of the best places.

These guys had invented a new dish called hot bar chicken which is not even there in the menu and it sucks to the core......and they gave it to me when i ordered hot garlic chicken....and finally blame me for their stupid mistake.......rude behavior and low maintenance......very disappointed...

Ambiance is Good. Soup was good, ordered crispy corn it was below average, vegetable noodle was just made in desi style. I went around 2.30pm after 3pm i could find only 1 waiter for service. Price little high as per taste.
Suhair Y
We tried the chicken mushroom soup..american chop seuy and chicken noodles..every dish was served hot nd tasted amazing..the ambience nd service was great but they can improve on the air conditioning systems out there..all in all this place is worth giving a try.<br/>

What a beautiful ambience?! Great food. I can find Hyderabadi taste in chinese food just as the title of the restaurant. The friedrice cooked in bamboo shoot os spectacular. It is a signature dish of the restaurant. I would love to visit again and again. The soup is amazing and starters are just wonderful. In short it is "wow Chinese"!
Khaja Nizamuddin
Nor so great as it sounds in Zomato reviews. It is just over rated.<br/>Starters are fine. Chicken pakoda, drumsticks, chilly prawns were my favourites. Panneer tikka and chilly baby corn were good in veg. <br/>Service was disaster. We expect far better service at these kind of restaurants but what we found was disappointing. They did not even serve, just left the dishes on the table for us.<br/>Not even required forks/ spooms were provided. After starters, not even plates were provided for main course.<br/><br/>Haiking chicken/veg noodles were little overrated. Were just average as any other mixed non veg/veg noodles.<br/><br/>Bamboo veg/chicken rice were salt less!! 😐<br/>You have to add salt, pepper and little veneger to make it tasty. I'm not sure whether its proper Chinese or was faultly made!<br/><br/>Food - just average<br/>Service - disaster<br/>Ambience - good

From Charminar to China. A place which makes you feel like you are eating in China.<br/>Haiking is in the business from very long time. If you crave for quality chinese food, I recommend Haiking is good to go restaurant. Though the prices are little expensive, but every penny is worth it. What we ordered here was mix noodles. One full plate can satisfy hunger of two people (unless you are very hungry). The noodles were soft and smooth. Such delicious noodles, I have never ate as of writing this post.<br/>The ambiance makes you feel like you have come to China. There's Chinese traditional paintings, idols and swords hanging around. Traditional chinese music is playing in the background with dim lightings. Hospitality here is super friendly and they provides chopsticks (but you gotta ask them :p)<br/><br/>I can't wait to visit them again soon and try more of the menu. Till then Sayonara.

Have been going to this place since school days but this is my first attempt at writing a review for it. Went there yesterday after a long time and was pleasantly surprised to find that nothing much has changed. Brought back fond memories of the earlier visits. <br/>Ambiance is dimly-lit and quite spacious. Food as usual was delicious. <br/>We ordered sweet corn chicken soup and chicken 65 for starter. For the main course we went for the tried and tested chilly chicken accompanied by the chicken noodles and chicken fried rice.<br/>All the items were good and the portion sizes were amazing. <br/>Will definitely keep coming back here whenever I crave authentic chinese food.

I expected this place to be an average Chinese restaurant but I was totally wrong! The interiors are pretty good and food is amazing. The schezwan noodles was the best among all! We didn't like the chicken 65 that much- felt like it had too much turmeric in it. The quantity is good and the service is quick! Do visit this place<br/>Food- 4.5/5<br/>Ambience-4/5<br/>Service- 5/5

Another legend place with a long time history! If you have been around Hyderabad for a couple decades you would know this place. <br/><br/>The ambience is just the same minus some charm with the entry seating now changed to parking. Seating starts at floor 1. It lost a little bit of china feel here. But still a nice clean place. Service is good and quick, although the servers look in a bit of rush. <br/><br/>For food, we ordered Chicken canton and Corn soups, both good and fresh. Starters included Chilly chicken (average), Fish fingers (not great, no tartar sauce), and Chilly Prawns (good). All of the taste would have been amazing 10 years ago but with so many good places opened now, it needs a starter overhaul. <br/><br/>For main course, we ordered Fried noodles with veggies in white sauce, Egg fried-rice, and Chicken in Garlic sauce. The main course is simple and can beat any new place, it was great. <br/><br/>Overall, this place needs a little bit of doing in starters but main course is still good. Sure visit if not been here in a while. Enjoy!

Seeing the restaurant since ages now and visited it again recently. No change from how it was last time when I visited. I fail to understand why in spite of being one of the famous places for Chinese food , this place has never been done up..the upstairs section always remains closed. The ambiance is very basic n doesn't give you a fine dining feel. We ordered a veg sweet corn soup to satisfy our rainy day cravings n it was perfect. There were surprisingly very few options for vegetarian starters n that prompted us to stick to the basic veg manchrian. A tad spicy than normal n blackish appearance put me off but it was decent to taste. Overall this place is pricey for the ambience and the portions it offers. The service is good though.

The rating says it all.<br/>I eat here almost every single day.<br/>It's my fav spot.<br/>Staff is unfriendly but I am concerned with my food not with the staff.<br/>So no grudges and happy 😊.

Great location. Great ambience. Great food and great service. Light on the pocket. Friendly staff. They have a highchair for babies. (Makes the life of mom waaayyyy easier). Haiking is our go to restaurant for chinese food. Must visit.

Been visiting this place since 2005, though not a frequenter. Loved the Chinese cuisine and the ambiance makes you feel this is authentic. Noodles, be it any variety, are the best here. Hakka noodles, chilly chicken, pepper chicken and fried prawns are my favs here.

It is since ages and the quality is like up to the mark....but these days they decreased the quantity!!<br/>Coming to the food...its quite good<br/>We ordered-<br/>Chilli prawn - 4/5. But too much oil.<br/>Ginger chicken (dry)- 2.5/5 . Very bad and too oily.<br/>Chicken noodles-4/5<br/> Ambience is good but a bit gloomy.

Outstanding Food that I have been having for the past 20-odd years.<br/><br/>My maternal family stays in Hyderabad, and I was born there. Which is why I have had the privilege of being one of the highest frequenters of this restaurant.<br/><br/>The ambiance is decent, but the service is impeccable (typical Hyderabadi hospitality). As far as the food goes, it is absolutely marvelous. My favourite is the Fish in Honey Sauce. Every single day, I dream about this particular dish. I would recommend every single hungry person out there to try this dish out. Then you will too, become a frequenter of this restaurant. (oh, and the Lemon Chicken is excellent as well)<br/><br/>Keep it up.

I must admit that this place is best for Chinese Cuisine. Starting with the starters and the main course were awesome. The only thing was we were keen to have this special tutti frutti ice cream which my mom and my wife loves so much but it wasn't available and a few other dessert choices from the menu were not there as well. so that disappointed me being the fact that its such a reputed and classy restaurant this NOT AVAILABLE should not be there. Overall was a good experience.

A soup which is famous in Indo-Chinese cuisine that tastes sour and a bit spicy. It is usually topped with fried noodles. This place is located at Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad. Since I was too busy having fish and other chicken dishes there, I couldn't spare a thought to click pictures of them. If you're up for authentic Chinese delicacies, then you must visit this place. One of my all time favorites in this particular cuisine. 3.3/5 Cheers!!!

So I wish I could give this restaurant a negative rating.<br/><br/>Went on a winter Sunday evening hoping to eat some Chinese food, and mind you it wasn't my first time here. <br/><br/>We then got a table, after minutes of contemplation by the "busy" staff and the entire first floor - unused.<br/>The waiter almost threw the menu at my face, I survived, and we decided what to order, then were looking to place the order. <br/><br/>No one to take the order, we waited...... After almost freezing at our table (and complaining to the "busy" staff about the air conditioning at our seat) we spoke to one of the "busy" waiters and walked to an empty table on the other side of the restaurant.<br/><br/>And waited there - as it wasn't cleaned up. And waited......<br/><br/>Then again after several minutes of further contemplation and group discussions, all we were told by some other really "busy" waiter was was "Reserved hai". That's it!<br/><br/>Nether did they ask us to wait, nor sit while someone else finishes. Zero manners, zero etiquette.<br/><br/>The food maybe good, but the quality of service had always been pathetic, and today reached a new low.<br/><br/>The staff here honestly needs to know how to speak to and treat their customers well.

Nice ambience. Soothing music. Childhood memories. A favorite of mine. <br/><br/>This was the definition of Indian Chinese in my childhood. Still maintains that quality overall.<br/><br/>Ginger chicken/prawns, chilli chicken/prawns, soft noodles, chicken corn soup are on my list. If you like prawns, choose that over chicken. Tends to be mild in spice level. Portion sizes are good <br/>

A family favourite for over 20 years, Haiking continues to maintain their food quality to an upmost standard. I particularly enjoy the pepper chicken, chicken 65, chilli chicken gravy-style and the chowmein. 👌🏽
