Review Terrassen Cafe - Hyderabad

Akanksha Chopra
Everything here is off the charts - the taste, the vibe and the service. They have a fully dedicated vegan menu featuring a wide range of meals. From the vegan menu, we got the tikka masala, kushari, vegan meatballs pasta, kathi roll and dum birayani. The kathi roll were quite spicey but overall food was finger-licking good! Tip - It's inside the Joint Cafe and was hard to spot from outside.

Update: The restaurant location has changed and it is now located in The joint cafe. The menu is just so sprawling where every item is vegan. The location has changed but I prefer the older one as it's more open air amidst the nature. The magic eg-roll just blew my mind!! The owner of this restaurant is a pretty chill and a laid back guy, that summarises how the whole establishment is! Wild, serene and calm The food is great, plated well and you get paper straws and glass bottles so the restaurant takes sustainability very seriously. I had bean burger, vegan chicken nuggets, vegan brownie and ice cream. This is hands down the go to place if you are a vegan and even if you are not a vegan this is an amazing place to hangout!! Need a nice place for a date? This is the answer! This is the first vegan restaurant in the city and the promoter himself is a proud vegan!

This is the first vegan restaurant in the city and the promoter himself is a proud vegan! I have visited this vegan restaurant in Hyderabad so many times in last one year. It wise quite a cosy place to relax yourself, it has good ambience and as it was drizzling when I went it felt quite a good place to hangout inside.. Service was solely run by one person and he did a good job. The place itself is quite rustic in looks and not a lot of tables but then again, it’s one of those niche places that doesn’t have a lot of rush as it’s only primarily meant for select palates. I’d recommend at least one visit for sure. I would definitely go back some day.

Being a non-vegetarian, I’ve never been to a vegan restaurant before. So when my wife first suggested this, I was like No ways. But eventually decided to take the plunge and I must say I was quite happy with the food. At least, it exceeded my expectations given that I had low expectations. Will it ever come close to the satisfaction of eating some good non-vegetarian food? Nope BUT if you really want to try out something different for a change, then this is a must-visit place.

Lovely bohemian place. Loved the aesthetic! Being fully vegan they had a plethora of vegan options! I highly recommend the fidget spinners from here. I'm personally not a fan of rum cake but some people went crazy over it and it was certainly impressive seeing it lit on fire

We had jackfruit dum biryani, oat milk Cold Coffee and Vietnamese Cold coffee. Both the coffees tasted a bit similar to me. Biryani was good, but too pricey.

We were looking for good vegan food and we were not disappointed! Great selection of food there, including tofu based meat (which I don't prefer). We had a fulfilling meal and even others who are not vegan liked the food very much! Definitely worth visiting again and again.

By far the best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They’ve crafted a tasteful menu and covered multiple cuisines. The taste, the flavours, the quality and the vegan variation of dishes is so impeccable. The price is slightly on the higher side but it is so so worth it. Im in love with their beverages and desserts as well. Terrassen Cafe never ever disappoints.

After so much hype about this Cafe, went there to try it myself. One of the first Vegan Cafes of Hyderabad. Ambiance: It has a very naatu look (raw look) almost looks like a mosaic of multiple things sourced from different places. Has both outdoor with greenery and rocks, and indoor (cozy) Coffee: Started off with a coffee made with oat, almond, and soy just to see how it tastes with different kinds of milk. TBH I loved each of them. One main to notice is it's a zero wastage café which means everything is served in reusable containers. Food: Ham Sandwiches: They are made with Sour dough and mock meat. Love the blend, may require a bit of sauce as it little dry. Keema Pot Biryani: Made with Jack fruit, but couldn't smell or feel the fruit. It blended very well Pizza: Pepperoni & Cashew cheese. I need to apricate in finding the right ingredients that go very well. Ice Cream: I am a huge ice cream fan and ice cream without dairy feels a bit like flavored ice water to me. Brownie: Was particularly surprised that it tasted really good even without butter & eggs. Finally, it's not for everyone, it's for niche audiences. Keep an open mind and give it a try. And yeah, it's pet friendly too. Panda Meter: 4

My vegan partner and I came in here for a late lunch at 5pm ish (or maybe call it early dinner!). Being our first time here, finding it was a bit tricky but we nonetheless made it thanks to maps! They offer valet parking here, though I suppose it's not really needed as you would have to leave on the street wherever you can find the space for your car. My instinctive reaction to the ambience when we walked in was that it felt very modern/contemporary yet old school. The furniture used for seating especially in the outdoors looked like well loved antique pieces. Between the indoor option and outdoors, I'd recommend indoors if you're sensitive to mosquitoes. They don't have air-conditioned seating which would have been nice for the 5pm late noon heat that we were feeling. The staff here wear t shirts with their name printed on the back, which was a very nice personal touch to observe. You could tell that this vegan cafe (apparently Hyderabad's first vegan cafe in 2015) was full of such intimate artsy details. We picked our table and ordered from the QR code based digital menu. The chicken nuggets, the green croc pizza, the game changer burger, the jackfruit meatball spaghetti were all incredible! Mind you this is a slow food cafe, so you will need to wait for your order. Don't come here if you can't wait 20 minutes to get your main course. It will take its time but it's worth it. Some folks brought their pets here as well. Except for the almond milk coffee, none of the dishes I had made me feel that I was at a vegan cafe. Exquisite and unconventional are the words I would use to describe the lush nutrients rich meal that we had. The portion sizes are good, the presentation is lovely and ultimately the taste was yum. I didn't feel like I ate a lot of junk food but that's attributable to lack of calorie dense milk products/meat. The bill was a bit on the higher side though. We paid 1,800 for 2, essentially for a super heavy lunch as we had a complete set of courses from starters to dessert. To bottom-line this long review - Best vegan cafe in Hyderabad, but it deserving-ly commands a premium on your wallet.

I have visited this vegan restaurant bustling in Hyderabad yesterday. It wise quite a cosy place to relax yourself, it has good ambience and as it was drizzling when I went it felt quite a good place to hangout inside.. Coming to the food it has a wide range of menu and people who are vegetarian can try this for sure, they'll love it, mock meat was also good.. it's worth an experience for both veg and hardcore non-vegetarians as well
Shikha Thareja
I like the experience here. The cute little corners of this cafe was something which i admire the most. Vibe of this place is so soothing. I felt that food quantity was a bit less as compared to the price.

First-time tried vegan dishes. dhaba style decor minus the crowd. Couple friendly and family friendly too, my toddler enjoyed roaming around. Parking available but wheel chair access not available.

This is an amazing cafe with a great sociable and friendly owner. The ambiance is great and the food and coffee are just as good. All the items on the food menu are custom creations by the owner chef so even tho they cost more, they are worth it.
Ayitapu Parasuram
For someone who's not a big fan of vegan, this place made it to my favourites. Laal maas and the fermented naan are hands down the best. Mutton biryani is also good. Vegan Chykn nuggets tastes exactly like chicken nuggets. Will be back to have more dishes.

I just went to terrassen cafe for lunch (note: it is multiple restaurants together with separate kitchens). The food was very tasty, thank you for not holding back on the spice levels towards european visitors. I gave a slightly lower rating for atmosphere and service, as we were the only ones there I felt slightly watched. Absolutely loved the waiter's interest in our travel, giving tips about places and sharing his own experiences

All Vegan and freshly made food from fresh produce --- NO Dairy products used! Small place, but has a calm and quiet ambience. Great variety to choose from with each having it's unique taste and health benefits. A Must visit place for all Vegans and health conscious people.
Avinash Matta
One of the best places in town to slow down, cherish food and enjoy life :) A perfect ambience with delicious, nutritious food (vegan with gluten-free options available) made from organic ingredients.
Thota Ra
A beautiful place and awesome food. A must try if you are into healthy eating. Staff was very welcoming. Lastly it's Vegan and not over priced like a few you may have visited in B'lore. The butterscotch icecream and chocolate brownie were quite tasty and so is their Pizza. Cafe should be rated No 1 Vegan Place, for taste and value for money. Hope to visit you soon.
Madhulika Jajodia
Simply superb. The whole menu is to die for. Well planned fresh, whole grain sandwiches are served with amazing sides like salads, wedges, chutneys. The desserts here are flavorful, healthy and tasty. These are Sinful indulgence without remorse. Dhanesh loves to experiment and comes up with a new surprise dish every now and then, so there is something to look forward to every time we visit the cafe. It is our favorite place to hang out with family and friends as prices are reasonable and food is very yummy. Highly recommended.
Vivek Rakotu
One serene place, with a beautifully painted hand cart, hanging planter bottles, the yummiest brownies. Loved your company. The caricatures on the wall made the place lot more interesting. Loved it :)
Sneha Poojary
Amazing staff, delicious vegan food and a lovely cozy environment. Thank you for a beautiful experience :)

Hungry? Perfect place to fill your tummy! Tired? Perfect place to relax! Bored? Perfect place to read! Yummy vegan food!!
Seetha Anand Vaidyam
Simple, wholesome food made with fresh ingredients. I like the sandwiches which are filling, the Apple cake, lemon cake, brownie and coffees are very tasty too. I am not at all a coffee drinker but love the cold coffee here. Love the casual, welcoming ambience as well.
Shravanth Koneru
The best shakes (fig and jackfruit) I've ever had! Absolutely creative! The lemon/apricot cake was just as delicious. It had such a fluffy texture with the best combo of sweet and sour. One would just be so busy exploring the surprise of the taste and its finished too soon.

Being in Hyderabad and not eating non-vegetarian.....And especially if you are a Vegan... This is a must visit place!!! Absolutely sumptuous food!!!!!
Brinda Poojary
The food, the ambience, the people! LOVED ALL OF THEM! Do try out the Cold Cucumber Soup and the Karachi Hour. The desserts are to die for! Can't wait to go back to Hyderabad and visit the café again!

Absolutely amazing. Nice atmosphere and yummy vegan food.
Sandeep Malpani
Ordered the "Apple Cinnamon" cake. Was soo good, loved it. Family surprised how vegan cake can be so yummy.
Bhakti Motta
I did not liked much of the food that we ordered here. But the dessert is amazing and they serve a generous portion of it. Liti choka felt half cooked. Coffee with coconut milk was a revelation.
Kushika
Best food ,healthy and tasty .
The best vegan food in hyderbad.
Lovely place and space with a nice chilled vibe to spend a few hours. Full vegan menu, enough to keep you coming back to try each dish.

Loved the food...❤️❤️..opened my eyes that vegan food is not boring ..it is just yummy!!

I had my first visit at the weekend. The place was different from all the other restaurants in the city. One can feel like home with seating and ambiance and music was so pleasant and perfect. The order was delayed a bit but our hunger was satisfied with the first bite of the sandwich. Food:We have tried Dabrinda Sandwich, Vegwaty pasta, Keema Pav and finally brownie with two scoops of ice cream. It was a great experience having vegan food mostly with soya, coconut milk, brown bread which I usually don't have at home.
Brandon Dasari
The service takes for ever, the workers also try to act very smart, that's so disrespectful.
Uday Kumar
These guys change the menu every 2 months and the food is made fresh. I had the falafel roll which was loaded with fresh hummus (most cafes in Hyderabad get processed hummus but this place makes it fresh) and harissa. Really like the banana smoothie which i tried before. This is one place where i think where the food quality is good. All other cafes in Hyderabad have a lot to learn from this cafe.

All stars for just the ambience and music!! You can come alone with a book or your laptop, find a cozy corner and you're sorted! The staff is polite and not nosy (which is a big issue in most places). I had the butter chicken with rotis and honestly it didn't feel like i was having mock meat, the gravy was very flavour full and it was sufficient for 1. I tried the kombucha there which they served it with some ice and it was well very refreshing. Tried the ragi cake too ( which was okayish, not over the moon types). I would definitely come back and try everything else, and it's worth a try! Disclaimer: there's a reason why it's priced the way it is, everything is fresh, whole and clean, nothing is processed or overrated, so if you go in baised against vegan food or vegetarian food in general and cribb about the quantitiy or the prices, PLEASE don't go and destroy the mood and vibes of that place and your sanity. ( Coming from a non vegan)!.♥️always
Bhargav Kundem
Great cozy vegan cafe.. has a European vibe to it.. must visit if you are on look out for some good hangout alone or with a friend.. not for big groups..
Rama Krishna
If you want an authentic Latin/Central American breakfast, this is the place! I usually come to this place on the weekend mornings to get my fix. Today, Wednesday , I discovered that they sell their breakfasts in bulk. I had an event this morning with San Francisco Unified School District students where we were not only embracing the Latino Mission District heritage, Latino cuisine, we also held a workshop for youth introducing new tech and work readiness!

5 just for the ambiance and the music.

.

A pretty cosy little cafe... This place serves vegan food... More like 100% vegan... What I loved the most about this place apart from the food is that it's pet friendly🐕 Also, this place ain't gonna burn a hole in your pocket...
Sambhav Jain
Cosy little place. Amazing food(vegan), made and served with love. Litti chokka was out of the world. Coffee was on point. Need more spaces like these where one can just sit and do nothing( the food does take a bit to come to your table, since it is a ‘slow restaurant’.the right feel to go and relax from busy/noisy places to eat.
Food Hunters
Loved the spaghetti and the coffee on the rocks. Everything about the food was great. But, the place could have been tidier. It was too dark and gloomy for my liking. I never thought that I'd end up liking vegan food. The seats were uncomfortable. But, then again, seating is uncomfortable for tall people almost everywhere.
Vasisht Ram
It is amazing to see an exclusive vegan joint in a city like Hyderabad where veganism is not appreciated. Being a vegan myself for over 2 years, I walked in high expectations but I was disappointed with the pizza and the cashew cheese tasted awful. I liked the Vietnamese coffee and the spaghetti bolognese meatball. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you aren’t a vegan and looking to try something new.
Shariq Ansari
Wholesome, and a warm comfy place❤️ the management's really sweet, and the ambience has a soothing energy. The food was great, and had an organic flavor which is difficult to find at bigger restaurants. Great place to relax on a weekend.
Raunika Rawat
This place is our go to place; an absolute no brainer. The beverages and the desserts here are a must try for all! Also, the music is so different and soothing. Good vibes always
Kiran Vamshi
Amazing food, we stuffed ourselves cuz the food was so good, didn't want to waste it. Come here at leisure as service slow. Prefably in a group of 4-5, so that you can get chatty.
Nikhil Gaddale
Extremely delightful place for brunch, very soothing Ambience totally homely, food is very different n good... Nothing tastes same here.....the aroma, taste, flavour everything is just poping out from the dishes. Great place should visit 👍

This place was in my book mark for longtime now and i have finally decided to try this place.
Have been here on weekend, the first thing that catches your eye is the cozy little space which the team has managed to pull off this cafe .
This place had downstairs seating with old style cots and chairs with cute little corners. However the interiors and neatness could have been maintained better which would have given more look.
I have ordered a herbal tea , kheema with pav, Almond milk Latte, brownie with two scoops of icecream.

Herbal tea: strong flavors of ginger and mint which was perfect for the season . Hot and tasty.
Kheema pav: Don’t go wrong by the word Kheema, this is tasty kheema of Soya. Chunks of finely chopped soya, onions, veg cheese, green chilies and tomato along with wheat pav.

While the wheat pav was thick but tasty which had a thin layer pf green chutney spread on it . The size of the pav is good and the outer crust is crunchy while it is soft in middle. I preferred less onions in the soya kheema, which would have taken the kheema to next level. While it gave sweetness with too much of onions , and along with this there were two dips, with friend onions . With some good amount of spice, whoch would reduce the sweetness will take the dish to new level.

Almond milk Latte was good , and lastly the dessert as the name suggests brownie with two scoops of icecream.. this was tasty . I liked it . I felt brownie could have been a lil sweet while it lacked the actual taste of brownie. Probably because the food available here is vegan there could be slight taste differences than the regular one.
Overall one good place for Vegan food

Food-3.5/5
Service-4/5
Ambience-3/5
I've grown up in Hyderabad, and for a while, not very far from here. Were this cafe here then my life would have been so much better. Why? Because it's a warm fuzzy place where you can be intelligent and nerdy and weird and be still at home. So if you're looking for a place to hang where there's great coffee with passion as a crucial ingredient. Look no further, this place is for you.

There are comedy open mics here every Friday, in their lower level. Their lower level, with mattresses and very comfy chairs, makes for one of the most cozy spaces for open mics and storytelling. Like Lamakaan or Charminar, it's a very unique, very Hyderabadi place.
Namrata Patwari
Absolutely loved the service . Perfect for anyone trying to make healthier choices , without compromising on the taste . It’s not a very fancy place , but one of the best places for vegans in the city
Gaurav Patel
Love this place

Quiet.

Bang on the road.

Desi feeling. Fresh coffee aroma.

Good variety of coffee and teas and snacking.

Grab a book. Hold a cup. Munch some delicacy. Be with yourself.

Good staff. Good mild music. Good time spent.
Ordered Litti Chokka and Yes Woman dessert.
Litti Chokka - 6/5 so freaking delicious. Will definitely keep ordering this.
Yes Woman - 4/5 It’s healthy and somewhat tasty
Ambika Remyaa Paramesh Nair
One of the best vegan places in town. It lies in the heart of the city. This place takes 35-40 mins to prepare your food as they do it from the scratch. This one has a complete hippie vibe. I love how interesting this place is!
PAWAN KUMAR
Oh yes vegan vegan!!! Love this place all vegan here.
Visited this place recently with friend. The ambiance is so peaceful and so clean. Recommend visit this cafe weekly twice you'll get energized. Coming to food I almost had everything here and I pretty sure you'll love here everything. The quality of ingredients is high. Quality is quite sufficient. Overall the best place.
Kandula Vinona
I had gotten home delivery of 'kosha mangsha'/ 'Shyam bazaar'. The food was incredible. It had just the right amount of flavours and 'mock meat'. The mock meat was cooked correctly just like actual meat, and it was served with four soft sourbread pita. The meal was wholesome and very fulfilling.
Hareesh Attilee
Wow... such a laid back place to spend time with friends . Personally I would prefer more options with sandwiches. I think Rasta cafe would suit more by name 🤘 . Thumbs up !
Abhijit Aachi
Nice small place, friendly staff, food is healty and totally vegan style ( i am not a big fan of vegan food ). I loved the juices and deserts though 🙂 ppl dont make the mistake of asking them tomato ketchup 😅😅

taste is good but quantity is very less..
Madhu Yamini
Hands down my favourite cafe in Hyderabad. A small quaint place in Banjara hills, they serve you vegan and also some gluten free food. Everything that I have tried till date has been yummy (Vegan food can taste damn good). They communicate about their slow service honestly and that's the charm of it. After all its being prepared afresh. One can sit here for hours, reading, working on laptop, or just catching up.
Their desserts and music deserve a special mention. I LOVE the music. It complements the place so well.
The staff is really friendly and wouldn't bother you with time restrictions.
Sada Shivam Prajapati
This place gives an example how simplicity can be at best. Best cozy comfortable ambience. Even the food is so good and minimal. Would love to visit again n again just to spend the time there.
Chetana S
Amazing place and ambience. Must haves: Ginger Kombucha, Black rice pudding, Pumpkin soup. You'll fall in love with the food for sure. Go Terrasen, go vegan! ❤️
Sriganesh
I loved the ambience, comfort, food and service from their friendly staff. My visit to Hyderabad was made memorable by the overall experience I had here. Fidget spinner was my personal favorite in terms of food. Grapesville was heavenly and pizza with cashew cheese and caramalized onion topping gave a unique taste. There was one miss however. The jackfruit meatball was flavourless and it was difficult to finish the dish. I ate the bread with the sauce and dip (which was not bad at all). However that did not affect the overall experience. I will recommend you to visit this place and will myself visit it again.
Rachna Kabra Karnani
Amazing Litti Choka, Pav bhaji and Jal Jeera. Words are less to describe my appreciation on food taste and consistency. Me and my husband are big fan of the place, have been here endless times , sometimes sipping coffee and eating poha.

Dhanesh is a great host.

Gourmand
Probably the only fully Vegan restaurant in Hyderabad right now. Its small, nestled into a corner at the start of a steep slope which gave it a very Dharamshala/McLeodganj vibe. The staff is friendly and help you park since there is very limited space to park and at an awkward angle. Service is slow but they tell you upfront and its a place meant to relax. If you are alone, they have books to help you pass the time while you wait for the food.

I ordered the latte with almond milk, with the palm sugar it was definitely a different experience and much lighter than regular lattes.

Tofu quality in the eastern Tofu Salad was really good but the salad didn't seem to have a vinaigrette type of dressing, just tasted like lemon juice without any kind of oil which typically is a part of any salad dressing.

The falafel wrap is really fresh - the roti feels healthy but is a bit too thick. It does help to keep it together but becomes a big mouthful of dry roti as you get to the bottom.

Good place to try Vegan food and know that it can be yummy and filling too.
Kushal Gummadi
Four words fit for this place: Simple, elegant, cosy, tasty.

This place looks so small from out side but it's cosy in its own way. Probably the only vegan cafe in Banjara hills. Staff allow you to sit, read, eat, drink without any questions or time barrier. They even serve gluten free food. Staff were friendly and made good recommendations.

If you are a vegan then this is your place, Even if it is not, it is a must visit. 😊
SATHVIKA SATHVIKA
Tried vegan food for the first time and pretty satisfied with the food, the place is cosy. However, they need to work on cleanliness and hygiene. Though we get to eat healthy food, hygiene plays an important role. The staff comes with a guava in their mouth while serving. You get to see flies over the food. The attitude of the staff is really weird.
Pnats2906
Aloo paratha was tasty. Though the staff were friendly, food wasn’t that great. Cold coffee was just ok. Unfortunately we found a piece of plastic in our kheema noodles. Lost the appetite after that. Service could have been faster.
Vivek
Ordered Pavbhaji. Very disappointed. Bhaji not smashed properly, also masala used was not pavbhaji masala, no flavour. The bread sent with the bhaji was STALE.
Karandeep
A quaint little joint. The service is slow and they have mentioned it in bold.

Kathi Roll with Posto

It's messy to eat and decent pretty good. Felt like Poriyal(the south Indian dish) in the roll.

Alema Meatball Jackfruit
Served with a bread and has kattal(Jackfruit) as the main ingredient. Also, the sauce goes perfectly with the fruit.

Chocolate Drink.
It felt like I was drinking the packaged soy milk except it's made fresh and tastes of Hazelnut

Pizza with Mushrooms, olives
I was surprised how the cashew dip on top supplements the cheese taste perfectly.

Bottom line

If you are Vegan, this is your Mecca
If you are not, it still is a place to visit.

Plate Twice Full
What a fantastic place!! This is a place that transports you out of Hyderabad in a second. I stayed there for almost 8 hours feeling like I was in one of the Gokarna Cafes.

If you a conversation lover you’ll get attached to this place. While you are there, try the poha and pav bhaji... mouth wateringly delicious.
Rohit Rao
This is actually called Slow Food Joint and the cellar is the 'Terrasan' café, like the name goes. As the Slow food joint name says, it's is actually very slow, and they openly accept it.

So, this is what it is. It's a Vegan and Gluten free food joint. Gluten free is optional. And they claim they put in the effort of preparing your order from THE scratch. That is why it's slow and will take upto 25 mins to serve your order. So go here if you have time and want to relax, don't go there and rush them, that's not how that place works.

They have good board games like Chess, Ludo, Snake n Ladder and so on. The people serving there are super cool. Not your conventional waiter who is like head down and sir sir all the time. They are chill buds. You can be yourself here.

Food is good. Tasty, gels in to the feel.of the place.
The ambience is very relaxing. Like a nomadian feel. Very grounded. You have seating like gaddis, like your cot cotton mattress. 3 to 4 tables. Chill, lean back and eat.

One place to be. One break away place and stand out from the rest.
Satya Gullu
Awsome place, they justify their caption. A perfect place if you want to spend quality time for hours(sailent place). Food is too good try out hot chocolate you will it if you are a chocolate lover.

I was never a vegan fan but this place completely surprised me. Their food minus diary products, sugar and meat are absolutely delicious. Calls for multiple visits.

Try out their apple cinnamon cake for sure!

A small cafe at banjara hills. The place has great food and a calm ambience which will attract u to go back again. Hot chocolate is a must try!

Cannot thank the head Chef and owner, Dhanesh Sharma for showing me how scrumptious, satisfying and healthy vegan food can be. Everything I've tried so far has been top notch and there are plenty of gluten free options making my life a lot easier. Please do not leave without trying the dessert 'Yes Man!', it absolutely changed my life!

This is the first Vegan restaurant that I've been to and it just a very calm and nice vibe to it. It's a cute little space that has two floors of seating. (The downstairs seating is my favourite). It has a very Pondicherry vibe to it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The most interesting part is that they are a slow food joint. They start preparing your meal once you've ordered it so it stays fresh when served. They also don't use ingredients that are ready-made or store-bought which means they have their own recipes for sauce, dip etc that comes with the dish itself as well.I go here every time I need to sit back and calm myself down. In recent times, I've been here twice and these are the things I've tried. 1.Spinach mushroom soup - spinach and mushroom and yummy combo. A very light soup that very tasty as well. 2. Fidget spinner - Its pretty much like Aloo Tikki but made with sweet potato. I love the blend of the sweet and spicy. Their dip is out of this world as well. (cashew flavoured).3.Hazelnut - hot chocolate - This is something I keep going back there for. There have been days I've gone there sat by a window and just had a cup of this. It's absolutely delicious. 4.Vegani kheema noodles - Vermicelli(brown rice) noodles with minced soya granules. This has a lot of vegetables and again is a very healthy dish. 5. Multigrain waffle - This I didn't find on the menu but a friend of mine recommended it and to my surprise, I loved it more than the usual waffles that we get commonly.
I'm not vegan and I love the place and food so I'm definitely going to recommend Terrasen to everybody! its a must try place for sure especially for the ambience and the very interesting menu that they've come up with. I'm very fascinated by it and will make sure that I try every single thing on it.
Disclaimer: Their food takes a minimum of 20 minutes to be prepared (depends on what your order as well). so please be patient and only go there if you have a lot of time.
Sivapriya Sridhar
I was completely blown away the minute step into the cafe. Beautiful ambience and colourful interiors is very attractive and eye catchy.
They serve healthy vegan food which is unexpectedly tasty. The owner is welcoming and understands customer's needs with precision.

A vegan, yet delicious food!!
As said it's a slow joint, food starts getting prepared only once the order it placed.
If you want to enjoy solitude in the peaceful place or have long conversation with your buddy, yes this is the place.

3 stars for the ambience. This is not something that you usually find in the cafes in a city. Remember the quiet and calm and serene cafes that actors go to in movies? Well, this is one such place! 😍 If you're into peaceful environment and want to do some book reading with some calm music running in the background that barely disturbs you, and want some greenery and shady light around, this is your go to place! Really good for introverts or people who wanna spend some time alone.

Now coming to the food, the menu shows a variety of names of sandwiches and pizzas and other stuff. They say that the dough is their own and they do not use maida and it sounds really interesting. But TBH, I would give a 1 off 5 stars for the food I had ordered. I ordered sandwich that had tangy and spicy in its description , and all I received was something that looked like half of a 6 inch sub, with the bread much harder than a pizza base, and some very dry stuffing oozing out from the sides because of bad preparation. It wasn't spicy and it was definitely not tangy.

The pizza we ordered was with corn, smoked tofu and caramelized onions, but what turned out was something that looked absolutely beautiful but equally ugly! It had some kind of a paste on the top of each slice that tasted like something I can never describe and the taste of the entire pizza was just worst.

So there you go! This is my review of the food that I had! I don't know if mine was a bad choice, or the food was actually bad. If you wanna give it a try for the sake of the place, go for it!

Been a big fan if this cafe from it's inception. Terrasen at their new location offers cozy ambience with mouth watering vegan dishes. My personal favorite has always been a Gluten free warm cake of lemon made with almond flour and hot cuppa with almond milk. Flax seed crackers with cashew cheese is my another fav. It also has pizzas and pastas that are guilt free and Gluten free 😉

Concept is good but food doesn’t live up to the mark. Service is slow and the place is not baby friendly. If food was tasty, it would be a nice quaint place.

Not a big fan of vegan but loved the taste of the vegan preparations. Wished they had better ambience and lesser mosquitoes. Great place to hangout.

Woow.. A brilliant place for #Vegan lovers!!! A vegan cafe which serves food and beverage that are made fresh from the scratch after placing the order.

We have ordered the roboy sandwiches and a mint tea which were too good as per the quality and tasted just like homemade food. The bread was very rich in quality.

Highly recommended place for hangouts and for really good vegan/healthy options. This place is added to my list and soon will visit to taste some other creation.

Highlights - Vegan cafe, No Sugar, No Gulten, Creative Interiors, Most importantly Run by Wonderful people. I wish, soon they expand all over city.

A small request to the management, the only thing that bothered me was flies! Please look into it
#WhenAtBanjaraHills
So is the caption, So is the logo & So is the place..!
#Terrassen, A slow food joint tucked in the bylines of Banjara Hills (Landmark - close by Roastery coffee house) is Hyderbad first (as they claim) healthy pure #vegan place. Couldn’t talk much with the owner Danish as he is the chef himself and pretty busy. He sets right expectation on the food serving time and he sticks to it.(At least 20min of wait time.)

Little offbeat ambience close to 30pax capacity with first floor being compact yet comfortable seating and ground floor with floor seating. If opting ground floor mind the mosquitos, No AC yet cool and some vibrant coloured carpets hanged over the walls. It has a huge parking space but just that you need to ask them to show.

A bit pricey is what I felt but that could for the reason, everything is prepared fresh and healthy. Even the veggies required are cut after you order, to retain the freshness.

Opted for
Fidget Spinner (150₹)- Named just because the sweet potato patty’s are platted like a fidget spinner but a good one to munch on. ESP the cashew dip that was topped was amazing.

Some tofu Kathi roll (150₹) - Was okaish for me for the taste:qty:pricing. 2/3 bites and it’s done.

Cappuccino (120₹) - which is not in the pics but totally impressed me. Unlike normal/brown sugar here they serve unadulterated sugar or jaggery powder to go along with for sweetness.

Overall an cute little place and can give it a shot Atleast ones.. If I have to go back, will do, for the fidget spinner , coffee and whole wheat pizza’s.

#ClickEatXploreYo #annadathasukhibhava

This cafe is any vegans paradise. A vibrant, homely and quiet place in the heart of the city is one of the most welcoming cafes. The menu has a wide spread of healthy shakes, juices, sandwiches, pizzas, desserts and breakfast.. Every dish is freshly made and guilt free as you bite into a healthy organic meal. The music and ambience is an icing on the cake. A must visit for all those in Hyderabad and those who plan to visit the city 😊

** Rating: 3.5/4 **
This was my first visit to a Vegan Cafe and eat Vegan Food. The cafe is crafted pretty nicely and I would love to spend some time there. The owner Dhanesh is an amazing soul and I suggest you to strike a conversation with him. The food is different and good on taste. We tried a lot of items but my pick of the day was the Kathi Falafel Roll along with the Vegan Kheema Noodles. They use a cashew nut chutney/dip for most of their dishes. My suggestion would be to have something different there because we ordered a lot of items and by the time we finished, there was an over doze of cashew nut chutney. Read my experience on the blog.

It's been recently shifted to a new location. The place is pretty, cozy, colorful. The best time to visit would be after dark when the lighting accentuates the decor of the place. Their music choice is also amazing.

Food is admirable. You MUST TRY THE FIDGET SPINNER. It's something you don't usually get to see anywhere else. The pizza was also pretty good. We had mushroom tofu onions as toppings. In drinks GRAPESVILLE & CAB are ok while the JALJEERA was very refreshing. Finished it off with a decent BROWNIE WITH 2 SCOOPS ICE CREAM. Cost is reasonable considering the location & quality of food.

I placed an order via Zomato of a gluten free pizza, rice noodles and spinach soup. Everything was so tasty and healthy. I really enjoyed it.
The only thing that maybe the next time I will make a note for the tomato pizza sauce, it was too spicy for me.
The delivery was quickly.

It's a cute tiny vegan cafe with two level of sitting space with quite a different vibe. I ordered fidget spinner, Alema's jackfruit sandwich and Ragi cake..all of them were quite innovative dishes.
Taste- 5/5
Service- 4.5/5
Ambiance- 4.5/5
The music was really soothing, will definitely visit again to try other dishes.

A brightly painted place with two levels of seating, serves vegan food. Pocket friendly prices and portion size serves one. We ordered a sloppy joe, a pizza, sweet potato patties, hot chocolate and a juice. The pizza and the sloppy joe were average, the hot chocolate and the patties were really good. To be fair, we were warned that the bread is really crusty when we ordered the Sloppy joe. It was, and rather dry too. The soya filling was really nice though.

What would I go back for?

Sweet potato patties and hot chocolate.

An extremely colourful, cosy Vegan joint, Terrassen.

We absolutely love everything there. From bright coloured windows to the beautiful cactus outside it.
They have some amazing pieces of furniture.
Its like a perfect place to hangout with a good book, or friends, if any. :D

We ordered a Hazelnut Hot Chocolate and a Terrassen Pizza with olives, tofu, corn and capsicum as topping.

Hands down the hot chocolate was the BEST VEGAN HOT CHOCOLATE we ever had.

Pizza was good as well. We loved the base, the toppings were added generously, the sauce was delicious. It was our first time trying Cashew Cheese, so that was a different experience. We'd definitely be trying other items off of their menu pretty soon.

I ordered a pizza from this place. The cheese was stale, disgusting and had far too much garlic. We ended up taking just one bite and throwing the rest of it. Don't know about the other food here, but the pizza is terrible. Just never order that.

Amazing, colourful, beautiful little place...with friendly staff. I ordered" Amar Akbar Anthony" (three rice dish) and cold coffee. The food was yummy with such great flavours. Even the cold coffee was a unique concoction, light and having a mild natural sweetness to it. Not to forget the peaceful ambience and music. Loved it! Will visit soon again.

Ordered amar akbar Anthony rice through Zomato.. Was a risotto preparation. The only down side was the veggies were overcooked and the dish overall was too oily. Liked the concept though!

I've been visiting this cafe for quite sometime now, and it has become one of my favourites in the city. Being vegan, I am glad to have stumbled upon here. There is a relaxed and cosy feel to this place.
As soon as you enter, you get a warm welcome from Dhanesh, the founder and also, a wonderful chef. He's very creative with the dishes along with their names in the menu. :D
I've tasted almost everything on the menu, and I must say that I have a lot of favourites. One can find a lot of fresh flavour in the food served here, and it is pretty healthy too.
In the soups section, I like the pumpkin soup and the spinach mushroom soup.
Among the starters, the Fidget spinner and the Tofu-al-avval are my favorites.
Drizzled with peanuts and served with some pepper tofu, I love their Somewhere East Salad.
Amar Akbar Anthony, the rice "aaitem" is also another dish that i like. Although it's a little onto the tangier side, having a blend of three different kinds of rice, makes it nutritious.
The pizzas are awesome. The crust is handmade and the sauces are fresh and flavorful. The multigrain kathi rolls are a must try! I prefer the falafel roll.
The Banana Republic is my absolute favorite. Also, I really miss the Guava Squash.
Coming to the desserts, the Ragi Chocolate cake (I prefer having this with a scoop of Vanilla icecream) and Yes-man are super yum. The nutty chocolate brownie is also good!
I would really like it if they could add vegan buttermilk to their menu.
They have Gluten-free options as well.
Thanks to all the delightful vegan food, I always keep going back to this place. :)

I finally had the most famous fackfruit sandwich. It was delicious,as I had expected it to be. Along with it, I had ordered an apple cinnamon cake.
I have talked a lot about visiting this place. Unfortunately my non vegan friends never cooperate.
The packaging was solid. And I liked the cashew cheese on top of the buyer.

Best place to hangout and eat and chill. This is where I come to relax, chat up with the owner and feel right at home. Food is ridiculously awesomeeeee!!!!

Wholesome, delicious, plant based cuisine at this quaint little vegan cafe in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The food is to die for, and the best part is that nobody had to die for it. All of the sinfulness with none of the sin! Highly recommended.

Fantastic food at a quaint place :) It was lovely to have all vegan options and to be able to eat guilt free! The ambience was brilliant. The experience was that of eating homemade food(it was indeed made to order and very fresh). The owner, Mr. Danish was extremely friendly and helped us decide from the many options on the menu. He ensured that there were lilting tunes playing in the background. In addition the place is inclusive amd employs differently abled individuals. All in all, a great experience.

I loved the ambience, it’s a great place to chill, the food is just exquisite and pulls you in the it’s great textures and combinations. Dhanesh, who is the owner and chef is a wonderful person and an amazing conversationalist. The menu has an array of things for you to try and my all time favourites are tofu alaval and Kevin! Vegan or non vegan, there’s something for everyone here! It’s the ideal place to go if you want to chill, have great conversations and eat without worrying about your food being junk, every bowl is full of health, even the cakes!!

Brilliant healthy food. Must visit for Keto options plus those looking for healthy food like whole wheat cakes and pizza. Can’t believe a place like this exists in Hyderabad!!!

Landed at this place after hearing a lot about the food. It was my first time eating vegan food.

Got here for dinner. From outside, the ambience didn’t look that great and quite deserted. I was having second thoughts to try the place but decided to try it anyway. And I’m so glad I did.

The staff - really courteous and sweet.

We ordered Fidget Spinner for starters and Kevin for sandwich. I loved the taste of both the dishes. Fidget spinner was so good and didn’t even feel like I was eating sweet potato. It was really good. Must try! I actually ordered another portion of this :)

We also ordered the brownie. It had a nutty flavour and equally delicious. Being a sucker for desserts, I loved it. Contrary to the savoury dishes, the portion of the brownie was quite big.

The portions are small but for one person, it’s quite filling and so healthy! Would love to visit again to try the other dishes!

Minimalist, calm place. Friendly and courteous staff. Perfect place to hang out :)

I am in love with Kevin the Sandwich. Mashed potatoes with greens and mushroom also recommended. Filter coffee was light though.

Being an ardent carnivore, I am rather surprised at how much I relished the food here.

Slightly pricey, but definitely worth a couple of visits.

Keep in mind that you can only pay by cash or online wallets (cards are not accepted)

The sandwich was made with extremely stale bread, and the carrot nutmeg cake was greatly under-baked
