Review Lee's Chinese Resturant - Hyderabad

This is a good Chinese restaurant, I visited it for the first time last week and found it good. The ambience is super cool and comfortable, staff is friendly and asks relevant questions to help you order right dish, food is tasty and does justice to a menu curated for Indian Chinese taste buds.😅 They also have a good location, being right there at Road Number 12 has it's own advantage..I feel they are not promoting themselves enough, such place should not be below the radar. Highly recommended for a more relaxed dining experience, if you want great Chinese food over a good chat, this is a place to go.

I had visited the place with my friend and had ordered egg fried rice and haryali kebab. The tast was pretty average to be honest, however the ambience and privacy was at its best. The restaurant was less crowded and could here our laughs echo through the walls.

Great food, mushrooms were excellent. Clean atmosphere, decor was good, but place was a little dark. Service was prompt.

This was one of the option that I use to see in swiggy. Wanted to try it for a while and finally decided to order. The packaging was excellent, I haven't see so carefully packed food when I order something in swiggy till date. I ordered the Veg fried rice combo and it was really tasty. The rice tasted great and the manchuria too. I personally did not like the cabbage salad, but that also was tasty. Ill maybe go to the place and try it out someday. Food-4

It's not unlike the other Chinese Restaurant if you want an authentic Chinese food to be served then you must try this restaurant.

Good quantity. Chicken kung pao is definitely recommended! Also Emperor's chicken will be liked by people who prefer a little less spice.

This was my go to place whenever I've craved for some good Chinese. I felt when it comes to authentic Chinese Hyderabad lacks that greatly. However Lee was amazing to say the least. <br/><br/>I used to order from swiggy and Zomato mostly there combos of Veg fried rice along with Schezwan Chicken, Chilly Chicken, Chicken Manchurian, etc. <br/><br/>My personal favorite was Schezwan chicken however all the items were amazing. Most importantly, There packing was top class and it was easy to eat from there as well.

Had the worst food in my entire life. Took the buffet coupon from nearbuy. Started with manchow soup which was too spicy. Starters were prepared weirdly. Apollo fish was smelling really bad. When we told the staff they started smiling and went away without any response. It was waste of money and time.

This particular restaurant holds good to its name. Designed to amaze, Lee definitely let's you drool over its decor. The food is delectable, succulent & palatable. In simple words, it's awesome!!!! Definitely try the crabby soup.

Best chicken Hakka noodles I had in Hyderabad. I ordered delivery. The flavors were very authentic which is usually used in Chinese cuisine. After discovering this place through Zomato Gold, it became a fast favorite of ours. We have visited Lee's multiple times and will definitely be going back even more. However, on our last visit here it was disappointing to see that they aren't a Zomato Gold partner anymore.<br/><br/>The ambience is done in themes of red and brown, and is very appealing. The soothing music they play is the perfect companion for the food served.<br/><br/>The constants for our meals here are the topping noodles and Tom Yum soup. We've tried a whole range of starters and gravies, and have no complaints. This is one of the finest chinese restaurant I ever visited. We ordered crab soup which had crab chunks which was quite tasty. Then we ordered drums of heaven, tiger prawns and manchurian fried rice. All the dishes were tasty and worth it. Looking forward to try more varieties.

We walked in and walked out, after warmly being greeted by two cockroaches. Dark and dingy, it wasn’t particularly love at first sight. Can’t say will go back there.

No, Lee’s Chinese Restaurant, this is NOT the way to treat your clients. I hate to write bad reviews but I have to remain truthful to my experience and to the readers of this review. I definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are cheaper, better in food and service chinese restaurants in the city. No, no!<br/><br/>1. We arrived there by 2:20 pm for lunch and it was passed 3 pm and we didn’t had plates on our table nor our order taken even though I nicely requested them many times to attend us. We had the buffet. Their excuse is that this buffet is completely served on table and it will take some time to prepare the food “fresh”. This has nothing to do with the fact that you have to wait around 45 mins just to take an order. After more than one hour we received some pieces of chicken and after some another 15 mins we received all the rest of the starters at once. What kind of buffet is this? Then don’t call it a buffet because it’s not! And by the way, very, very limited spread!<br/><br/>2. We used a Nearbuy coupon and bought the buffet lunch at the Carnival Buffet promotion at discounted price for the weekend (it was a Sunday). For our amazement they said that they cannot serve Momos for us because we bought the coupons at discounted prices. I looked in the coupon and nowhere was mentioned that the buffet excluded Momos from being served. Even though I said that they should keep their agreement, they still didn’t served any Momos for us. They should’ve served at least as a compensation for their horrible waiting time, but no, they were very decided to show us that clients don’t matter.<br/><br/>3. They boast (or excuse when they are late) that the buffet is served on table and the food is fresh and hot. Just serve as a normal buffet (if you’re calling it like that), nothing will happen if the food is hot and fresh. All the non-veg starters are coated in a thick layer of some batter or dough and they are not very enjoyable, even the only non-veg main course it’s the same. Noodles were way below average! Dessert was ok, fried noodles with ice cream. So food is far away for being the best. If you look in their a-la-carte menu you’ll find out that the food is quite expensive and the lunch buffet is over priced for what they offer (comparing to other restaurants).<br/><br/>Very bad experience and don’t recommend to any one to try their “fresh and hot” buffet! There are better options in the city! Learn how to treat your customers because they bring you business.

This place serves probably the best Chinese. The staff is extremely courteous. Prices are reasonable. There is a good balance of flavour in the food, it's not too spicy or too bland.

I have both ordered at home as well as visited the restaurant. Hands down the best Chinese food in the city and the customer service is top notch. Singapore Prawn noodles and chilli chicken (with the gravy on side) is highly recommended.

Soup was so fresh and tasty starters are so hot I have never eaten such hot starters in my buffet experience all the starters have some flavour Apollo fish oh my god what a beauty it was I asked to repeat they did want to ask them to repeat again but felt shy. A definite must try for everyone who loves Chinese. Andrew is the sweetest host and makes you feel welcome from the minute you enter the restaurant. The service and ambience is absolutely amazing.<br/>The basket noodles is a delicacy and something very different and unique.<br/>We ended the meal with fried ice-cream which was by far the best I've had so far.<br/>Over-all, I'd say it was a lovely dining experience. A nice little place tuck away on the top floor on road no. 10. Staff were nice and patient, helped us with menu an d what is best served. Ordered some Hakka noodles, chef's special fried rice, chilli chicken , chilly garlic fish. Must say the food tasted really good and the quantity served was aplenty. Coupled with Zomato gold it didn't burn a hole in our pockets.<br/>Service and staff would alone definitely be a reason to visit again .<br/>

The place turned out to be a pleasant surprise......impressed with the quick and excellent service. Every item we ordered turned out to be excellent. Special mention to be made of the Hakka skewers (tofu) and Buddha's Delight! And the fried ice cream takes the cake. Definitely a must and often visit place.

In love with Lee's Chinese stuff, sort of authentic they are and the combos are available at reasonable rates. Delivery has always been on time and the packaging is very neat.

We Opted for a Home Delivery instead of Dining Out, It's Food Comes in Great Packaging, So Neat to Look at. Tastewise wasn't really Satisfied. Out of 2-3 items that I ordered nothing really Seemed good at Taste. 😭

Veg ReviewWe had a great dinner on a Monday evening, we had the whole place for ourselves. Being empty the service was decent, coming to the food, for starters we had Kung Pao and Fried Wontons. Both of them were good, especially the kung pao. Then we had a Fried Rice and Veg Manchuria Wet, and American Chopsuey. All of them turned out to be good. There were a couple of gripes that I had overall, one the portion sizes were relatively small and the major gripe was the food was just not hot enough, it was warm by the time they got served and became cold quite quickly. Other than that it was a pleasant dinner with family.

Ordered a combo of veg fried rice with chicken Manchuria. The veg fried rice is good in taste and quantity. But the Manchuria which I expected dry i.e in soup and extremely Chinese. Though it tastes good all may not like it. Can order and taste once. The packing of food is good. 👍

My most favourite Chinese restaurant encounter in recent times! Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lee's.<br/><br/>To start with the service of their waiter's is extremely prompt, you will notice it from beginning to end. For me, it's definitely one of the main factors to recognise a good restaurant.<br/><br/>The menu is short and simple, it does have variety but won't confuse you. We loved the Sung Pao chicken (typo maybe) and Tempura prawns in the starters, the main course was this delicious lemon chicken and basket noodles. Both recommended.<br/><br/>The place has a good vibe to it. Definitely our family's first preference Chinese restaurant from now onwards.<br/>

So, I've come across this restaurant through Zomato's under 99 offer. The actual price was 290(not sure) odd something which was stricken over with 99 written beneath it. Thought it was a great offer and went ahead. Ordered a Veg Fried Rice, Kimchi Salad and Chicken Manchuria combo. <br/><br/>Received a call confirming my choice for the starter. The guy on the other side of the line gave me two choices. I believe he was supposed to take 100 more calls that he smashed the phone even before I finished. Was quite unprofessional all through the call.<br/><br/>And, finally what I received was literally worth 99. The fried rice was okay with not much to talk about. The Kimchi salad was the only thing you'd enjoy. Though the Chicken Manchuria was great, all I got was like 4 pieces, so couldn't enjoy much. Had the entire meal in disbelief.<br/><br/>Why claim when you are actually providing 99-worth food? Isn't that a scam?

I'd say the Chinese cuisine food here is very good. Quantity of each dish is sufficient for 2 people. So both on quantity & quality the food is very good here.<br/><br/>Chicken in beans sauce was too good. Egg fried rice was sufficient for 2 of us.<br/><br/>We liked the food we ordered from here. It is at banjara hills rdno 12.<br/>The ambience of the place is good and quite like that of a typical chinese restaurant .<br/>The starters here were really good as at most of the places, the food is mainly concentrated at the starters . The veg starters are tasty too . The maincourse is good but not excellent , we tried a couple of dishes which included Chicken dumplings,crispy diamond veg,crispy corn,spicy beans ,chilly chicken and hakka styled tempura prawns .. The service is good as food is served at fast pace without you having to wait for the starters to arrive. So all in all it was a good dining experience .

Staff is very friendly and polite. The food is very good and was quite happy with the recommendation given by the captain's. The ambience is a bit dark and dull so there is room for improvement there. Also could work a bit more on the mocktails. Definitely worth a visit again just for the food.

Finally got a new place to eat simple non spicy chinese. Tried Lee’s today for the first time and it was a great experience. The ambience was decent and staff and service was great too. When comes to food I loved it. We ordered satay with peanut sauce, vegetarian kum pau and basket noodles with fresh lime. quantity of satay was little and was ok in taste cause i’ve had best satays but the peanut sauce was nice, veg kum pau was super, crunchy and the sauce drizzled on it made it more tastier plus the fried noodles which were garnished on it were fresh and not that oily. Basket noodles was one of the best basket noodles i have ever had. Usually the basket noodles i always had were too spicy, but here the basket noodles were just perfect with right amount of vegetables and perfect taste. When it comes to fresh lime i guess after a long time I had perfect fresh sweet and salt lime. All in all after long I tried new place for chinese and surely will go again to taste the rest of the menu. I hope the taste and the service they offer is maintained.

We went to Lee's with the whole family. Kids, grandparents etc. Unanimous hit with all. The food is really fresh and wonderful service by Andrew Lee! Delighted to know that the noodles are freshly made everyday amd they tasted yum. Authentic Hakka food. I'd want to really try some of the other stuff on the menu. The menu although purposely small has a wide variety of veg options too!

One of the best authentic Chinese restaurant where taste is not tampered for localization. I have travelled from Madinaguda to this place and its really worth every penny. The owner a Chinese hailing from Calcutta knows what he is serving and is a connoisseur of food. The Lee's Fried ice cream at the end was a cherry on the cake. We had lunch today and started with Manchow soup which was a bomb, from that moment i knew food will be good. Then we ordered a starter which was recommended "Hakka Style Tempura", then we ordered Chili Noodles and Cantonese Noodles (gravy noodles this is Calcutta Style). I was expected the chili noodles to have chicken cubes but it was shredded, never the less it was good. They steal the show as the noodles are made in house and not bought and its so tasty. The owner is very friendly and made us at home in some minutes. I would keep going back with all friends and families. Thank GOD i found some Tangra and Calcutta style Chinese food which i was longing for.

Very good Chinese food. The place is very quiet and looks like secluded. Not much crowd, only couple of tables were occupied even though it was a weekend. Their main course fish and prawns starters are amazing! Dim sums are also decent. Mocktails are not so great, they gave lemon soda in the name of mojito. A very very budget friendly place though.

I like the noodles except that they put red chilies in that. taste was good and quantity was too much for two people. value for money and taste. packing was decent

The food at Lees is always very good and they maintain the standard very well indeed. It is one of our favourite Chinese restaurants.

Had been here yesterday. I was a bit skeptikal about the place but to my surprise it turned out to be awesome. Its authentic chinese ambience and the staff was so friendly and service was great. We disnt had to wait for long for the food. Would love to<br/>visit again.

The good is always excellent at Lee's and if one cannot visit the restaurant ordering online is a very good option.

This place was not part our list but we tried as there was some food festival going on for Gold members...<br/>But but but..... they surprised us with the service,food and taste...<br/><br/>We had a good conversation with Andrew (who owns the place)... <br/>Food is extraordinary...<br/>They have Limited buffet but great taste for what they provided...<br/>Good Service is all we need to be comfortable..<br/>Being a gold member we got it for 399 and thats a catch...<br/>Love being Zomato gold member..<br/><br/>Guysss don’t miss this place .. The food was delicious. The sauces were light and the food was fresh. This is definitely the place when one wants to have Chinese. The place is nice and clean. The portions are a good size. The service is also very good.

The food was vry good bt we landed up getting wrong iteam, v had paid for non-veg fried rice bt got veg fried rice.... vry satisfied bt dissapointed.

Your search for good inhouse Chinese food stops here. Amazing food, ambience and hospitality. Do try their home style chilli dishes and they have the best manchow soup in Hyderabad as well. Definitely one of my favourite places now.

Was here for their lunch buffet a couple of days back. Simple ambience and pretty good service. Each dish was made to order and served on the table. The buffet had limited menu but was good enough.<br/><br/>Manchow veg soup - loved it.<br/><br/>Veg Starters- liked babycorn of the lot.<br/>Dumplings were yummm.<br/>Veg spring rolls were okay<br/><br/>Non veg starters - Fish fingers dint quite like it.<br/>Sriracha chicken wings - deep fried and loaded with sauces ( a little over top)<br/>Kung pao chicken tasted great. The only thing was almost half of the starters had same sauce and obviously tasted the same. This could be done differently.<br/><br/>From the main course had Chicken fried rice with chicken in hot garlic sauce and this was tasty.<br/><br/>There's only one dessert but I truly loved the strawberry icecream, it tasted fresh .<br/><br/>Definetly value for money and is easy on pocket.<br/><br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>Ambience- 3/5<br/>Service- 4/5<br/>VFM - 4/5<br/>
