I visited to Bluefox (Minerva ) with our colleagues for team lunch .
We went as a batch of 11 members and in that 2 are veg including me ,I had tried only veg dishes .
Coming to starters we have tried Crispy corn and Veg Manchuria ,the taste was good and the quantity was decent ,in theain course we have ordered dal makni and Veg do pyaza along with Garlic naan .
The taste was average and coming to the quantity also it will be like a medium portions when compared to other restaurants.
Those who tried non veg was satisfied.
The prices are also slightly high when compared
My overall review is to visit the restaurant for decent atmosphere.

This hotel is only for the nostalgic persons ..I used to visit this restaurant in 2002 - 2004 regularly..I have very fond memories associated with this hotel...Lot of crowd , tasty food , affordable and classy ..
Visited this place last Sunday and it was totally disappointed..The place lost its grace ...It was divided into take away and dining ..Which made it very congested...
The drapes doesn't work..We uses to sit next to glass walls and enjoy hot chocolate while looking at the ameerpet during rainy and winter evenings ..Now nothing is there ..Hardly there were 10 customers ..
We ordered chapati, Masala dosa , sandwich, Chole batura, paneer butter masala dosa ..The portion of the food was inversely proportional to the price on the menu..Taste was good..Nothing less than absolute magic ..But our kids didn't like it .. it was little high on the pricing ..
If you are a new age guy don't visit this place ..If you are sentimental..You can still go once in a while and cherish your good old memories ..
By the way the valet was pathetic ..

It is a very good place to have any type of food....

Went for lunch, service was quick and quality of food excellent.

The rate of the food here is mind blowing, this place is the best oisd to start the day with the breakfast.
this place has many underutilized waiters, particularly one waiter was disrespectful, the attitude of the person in attending the customer requirement and his approach a totally wrong the or not like to name the personv here.
Apart from this one particular incident, the place is really awesome.

Food is ok . Can get good food but ppl who likes more spicy this is not best place. Over all food is good and clean
Shaik Aijaz
Loved the ambience, looks exquisite and extremely clean. This brand is known for its exclusive vegetarian food. The great thing about this place is the good view of the hi- tech city road and the air conditioning is top notch. If you love veg food this place is a good choice. But disliked the fact that the amount of food you get on your plate for the price you pay is unreasonable. 1 did not feel full after eating lunch here. Had to order again.
Krishnachaitanya K
Taste is excellent but felt too costly. Takes so much time for delivering the order.

Food could have been better

Good place. Not a good option for spicy food lovers. Quantity of food is good.

Have been a regular customer since many years. A classic place. Never disappoints in terms of taste.

Ordered food for a patient. This is unbelievably pathetic & sad to know that brands like "Blue fox - Minerva" doesn't have basic quality checks. Waste of money and more than that trust is gone.
Vignan K
This is the worst food I have ever had at a Minerva coffee shop branch. Stale chutney and tasteless sambar. All the way we drive is for the sambar taste we get here but this branch has a pathetic one! I would never ever come either or never recommend this branch to anyone. I want to give negative number of stars but that one star is minimum requirement that the app supports. That's why giving it. Don't even expect that one star quality as well. Thumbs down. Food sucks!

Very sad state of affairs Went for lunch and was highly disappointed. 30 mins wait for a rawa dosa which was soggy and had Alam chutney dumped on it Extremely bad service staff fighting amongst themselves in the restaurant. Least bothered about guest service or water requirement Station centric service and no coordination Seemed I was done a great favour by serving me that dosa Maybe they wanted to push me too towards their buffet like they did to my colleagues. Makes life much easier for all. Anyways never again to that place. I have had good experiences At Himayat nagar and somajiguda outlets but terribly disappointed this time Wish Zomato has a rating lower than 1

Went back to this place after 10-12years.... sambar dipped mini idly was my all time favorite there.... it dint taste the same anymore I felt.... the ambience looked old too.... the place lost the charm and taste....
Jayashree Nandakumar
The thali is good here. It comes with dessert. The service could have been much better. We had to wait for a long time. <br/>Also when we asked for starters, the waiter said it will take half an hour. So we couldn’t try starters. Tomato soup was good too.
Jay Nair
a very poor cousin of the somajiguda branch...the place is gloomy at best. just doesnt have the vibe...the veg buffet at noon was pretty average. if u can reach here u can as well take another 10 min and go somajiguda:-)

Pocket friendly, quick to deliver and makers of the best Bisi bele bath, its my favourite meal of their menu! havent visited the outlet, but delivery was flawless and neat. Good quality disposables and sufficient quantity.

Service 4/5<br/>Cleanliness 4/5<br/><br/>Food Pathetic quality and taste. Rice was broken rice used in local mess. <br/><br/>We didn't like this place. This is not like original Minerva coffee shop in Himayat Nagar or the other one on Raj Bhavan Road. <br/><br/>Just wonder how such great names give away franchises to someone who can't match up-to the brand. <br/><br/>
Mohit Bafna
What a pathetic way of service...whole hotel have only 1staff to take order...and he is so hafty to walk on floor and take orders. <br/>Pls avoid going for bf or dinner had really off time chasing him for order.

Rotis were like cardboard. The worst ever!

Don't even think of ordering from this restaurant. They have a very special chef who will add sprouts and lots of black paper in Chinese noodles. Worst experience ever in my life. Ruined our appetite and definitely going to give more pain next day morning!

This is the place where I have been many times . Nice service . Great ambience .Awesome food for veggies<br/>I particularly like the starters here<br/>

Food is good, a bit salty, reduced salt and chill powder in dishes will enhance the taste of the food as well as helping the health of consumers like us. Please try and reduce the salt and chill powder to just right levels and I am confident that your great cooks can accomplish this task. Thank you.

I was the only customer at 9.30pm. The place looked stale and lifeless. Ordered set dosa with high expectations which was just average. I personally like Minerva over chutneys. But my experience was disappointing. Also complimentary was stomach upset. It’s a shame guys.

'Hidden Gem'<br/><br/>Food - I've heard this Minerva name all my life but was never able to make a visit to this famous breakfast restaurant near Ameerpet! But when I did I was the happiest person! Button idli and coffee are the things I had and I just friggin loved it! I seriously didn't expect the food to be so good, the regular idli, dosa were really good and my first meal of the day was with full of thick sambar and tiny lil idlis which literally made my day! The quality and quantity both are great here! For the people who're trying to avoid street side south Indian food, this is the best option for y'all! Food gets 10/10, button idli and coffee area must try!<br/><br/>Service - The waiters are very courteous, they make the table gets cleaned up as soon as you finish and they're always on their toes! The only thing that isn't there is a smile hehe but it's okay you know, nobody will be smiling at 6am lol.. service gets 10/10!<br/><br/>Ambiance - This department is just ok! It is a wide open space with many tables and dim lighting! It's a proper family dining restaurant and it doesn't feel that urban but it is a inclined towards breakfast and I wouldn't actually care how the hotel looks in the morning unless the food is great! It's not bad either, but just not par! It gets 8/10<br/><br/>Why MCS? #Bestbreakfast #coffee #peace<br/><br/>Will I specially go to MCS? OBVIOUSLY :)
Priyamvad Kabra
Decent service, decent food. <br/>A good place to go eat a quick meal, not meant for proper dining. <br/>But there are are plenty of better places for south Indian food, Minerva has lost its credibility.

☆Was amazing morning Breakfast ☆Masala Dosa was amazing .... i liked it in my first try :) the brand ☆Minerva is really amazing .... #Blue Fox is also one of ☆Minerva ;)

1. The coffee hear is way better than anywhere else including CCD, Starbucks. It has its unique taste<br/>2. Masala Dosa is not that good. Have too much curry leaves and the masala is too much plain. It doesn't have proper balance of spices.<br/>3. Sambhar and red colored chutneys are very good. Normal coconut chutney not good. <br/><br/>Suggestion - Kindly focus on recipe for dosas and their fillings. Make it authentic South Indian as your restaurant has a lot of experience.

You can never expect thali to be served to you even if you visit the restaurant before the closing time of thali. Food is just average nothing great I guess management should look into it incase they don't want to loose customers .

When I visited Hyderabad, I walked in for a coffee on a morning. There are only two varieties of Coffee's they offer. Filter-coffee and Instant-Coffee named as 'Nescafe' in the menu. Somehow, it took 20 minutes to reach my table and wasn't great either.Ambiance reminds me of a fancy restaurant in the 90's that I've been to as a kid. I am unsure if it was deliberately set or left like that since long.
Siddharth Jaligama
Visited this place with family for dinner on the eve of my wife's bday.<br/>Ambiance is OK OK. <br/>Food was OK OK.<br/>only thing you can enjoy is IDLY and SAMBAR. even chutney they gave us was stored one. It is very cold when it was served, which means its not fresh and refrigerated one.<br/>we ordered Palak Panner Curry and i tasted one of the worst palak panner curry in my life.<br/><br/>Service is not up to the mark. very slow.<br/><br/>my advice is to ignore this hotel!!!
Kishore ALR
Service is too slow, ambience is out of date, place itself doesn't please one inside, just the brand name and the food that goes with it. <br/><br/>I myself had to step in at an odd timing for breakfast not able to find any chains nearby and ended up here.<br/><br/>Service is really really poor. Kindly look into that.

i'm a regular customer of this restaurant, mostly get the food items delivered to home. today i ordered paneer tikka masala, veg sprng rolls and other items to my home & i found 2 stones in paneer tikka masala, Veg spring rolls has got a foul smell. very disappointed with the service!

During my 21 days stay at Hyderabad I used to have my lunch at Minerva almost daily, about 15 out of total 21 days had been to Minerva for my Favourite Rava Idli, Rava Dosa with Ghee and Gun Powder. <br/>I never had so good south indian food in a very good ambience like Minerva.<br/>Surely recommended for atleast one visit if you are in and around Hyderabad.

I have visited this place for breakfast and evening snacks. The breakfast is similar to other major outlets. The evening snacks are good. The ambience and service are also good.
Tejas Patwari
I visit this place every time I visit Hyderabad ( thrice a month ) as it is on the way to my office. The place has a descent ambience and i like the taste of food they provide specifically idly with ghee and upma are very soothing options for breakfast (don't like taste of uttapam served here though). The only thing because of which it is below benchmark is the service. The man who comes to take order talks rudely and is least interested in customers ( ...from past experience of 5 visits) waiters behave better. Lastly I also feel its slightly overpriced.<br/>So overall rating goes as <br/>Food 3/5<br/>Service 2/5<br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Cleanliness 4/5<br/>Value for money 2.5/5

My first experience with zomato delivery!.. I chose Minerva but am heavily disappointed. The delivery took more than 1½ hr. The butter naan was un-tearable (a new term, I know). Veg fried rice was OK (.5 extra rating for this) and now comes paneer chatpat: the gravy was tasting good but paneer was too hard and probably stale which spoiled the dish!!..I hear ameerpet Minerva is the worst among all Minervas.

Aha I visited this Coffee shop? for dinner :P on Mahashivaratri with my Joint family. :D<br/>We ordered baby corn starter, veg spring roll, Veg fried rice, veg noodles, green salad, butter paneer masala :D, Atlast something lively and butter naan.<br/><br/>Baby corn starter: (I don't actually remember it's name🙈), with every bite you can feel that punch of babycorn, it was good.<br/>Veg Spring roll: Hmm this is some starter, it has some intense taste and they served it quite hot that I burned my mouth. 🙄 It has all that cabbage, carrot, capsicum, onions in it and I liked this one over babycorn starter.<br/>Veg friend rice and veg Noodles: Well, in the name of salad. 😂), Cucumber👍, onions???, tomato :), a mint leaf, and a green chilli( this could be the best part of the salad, it is neither too spicy nor a mild, I ate that with the noodles :P it went really good. :D) and a lemon.<br/>Butter naan and butter paneer masala: Well when I heard my dad was ordering paneer butter masala I was drooling completely, the ordered arrived and :/ it's just average. Enough said. :(

Been here with family once, <br/>Ambience - 3.5<br/>Service - 4<br/>Himayath nagar branch will have better food than this branch, not so appreciable.

A mediocre restaurant with good ambience and prompt service. Tried chilly chicken and egg pakoda for starters and prawns biryani for mains and I'm disappointed overall with food.

Nice place for a budget vegetarian buffet lunch on a regular weekday with a price tag of Rs.299/- inclusive all taxes. Reasonable variety of items. Quick service.

Consistency has been the hallmark of Minerva. Had Chole-bathura here, it was pretty good. Lassi here is awesome! Valet parking is hassle free.

I was longing to visit minerva coffee shop for a long time n finally we were here to have our lunch. .even though this place is popular for their south indian delicacies . we opted for the north indian dishes. .for starters we had paneer 65,crispy corn and veg manchurian. .all of them tasted great. .the only problem was that they were a lil spicy for my taste. for main course we had garlic naan ,peas n capsicum makhni n one chef special veg gravy. .i liked the makhni gravy more. .finally we ended our lunch on a sweet note with kubani ka meetha. .overall a good experience.

My favourite south Indian vegetarian restaurant. Quiet ambience. I must have eaten over a 100 times over the last 8 years and never found wanting. But the management can definitely brighten their lighting.

A good South Indian restaurant with quality food and good ambience. Had butter masala Dosa which was really nice also had button idly in the past which is also very nice. Overall nice place to hang out with friends and family.

Visited this place for breakfast many times , their button idly's are quiet famous. We ordered regular idly wada, rawa dosa and button idly's. Dipped in hot flavorful sambar the small idly's tastes great.<br/>so does rawa dosa which is very crisp and tasty.<br/>Must specially mention about the filter coffee, which is awesome... very strong and aromatic.<br/>Service was fast and prompt.<br/>

I have been visiting Minerva since a decade or so and the last time I went here was a few years ago. The experience was so bad, I never visited again. I went there hoping the experience would be better and ordered a South Indian thali. The soup was bland, curries tasteless and none of the dishes, including the rice and curries were served hot. The food was no where up to the standards of similar restaurants.

Earlier it used be a nice place. Now a days this place lost its charm. Better visit somajiguda outlet. Food quality is not up to the mark. Staff is not courteous though you visit regular.

My ideal place for having breakfast with family....the crispy and tasty rawa dosa is what you need after morning walk and badminton and their basundi (which is not available most of the time) is delicious....

Today morning I saw a photo of Button idlis in a bowl of sambar in one of the foodie groups, and it started my cravings. I have been visiting this joint near Maitrivanam many times for their idlis and dosas. Promptly landed up here in the evening for some button idlis.<br/><br/>The button idlis are served in a bowl of hot sambar along with chatni. The sambar has a strong flavor and is delicious (they sprinkle powder on top of the idlis too). A long and a short spoon are provided for properly tackle the button idlis soaked in sambar. My cravings were more than satisfied.<br/><br/>The espresso coffee served was good too. However the real dampener was that the ACs were not working, and as there was no ventilation the place had a stale stink. This was a major irritant.

Had to meet a friend for breakfast and decided on this place, because it was the safest bet in comparison to the roadside bandi’s for breakfast. <br/><br/>Minerva is located In the road behind Mytri Vanam, and just above Oriental Bank of Commerce. <br/><br/>When we walked in, the place looked deserted with hardly two tables occupied. I opted to go for button idli and a glass of watermelon juice, while my other friend was content with Rava Idly and Masala Tea. I like the way they make their button idli, its so far the best button idli you get in town. The sambar along with a little hint of ghee makes it outstanding. The best thing about Rava Idly is that there vegetables stuffed inside a regular idli with cashews sprinkled over it. It decent but not extraordinary, The chutneys served along were normal and lacked the flavors, the sambar was good though. <br/><br/>The watermelon juice was served in glasses, which were untidy and iam sure the glasses might have been from the Nizam era ;-) what surprised me most is that the price of watermelon juice is around Rs 85/ which is way too expensive !! the masala tea seemed as if it was reheated. <br/><br/>The staff is arrogant and very slow. The service is at snail’s pace, I got extremely irritated with their service that I walked to the counter to pay the bill instead. (I waited for almost 20mins for them to collect the bill).
K R
Except the coffee, I didn't find anything good here. We had to wait for 10-20 minutes every time for asking something. We ordered South Indian Thali and waited a long long time for the staff to come and serve us the second time. Once they serve, they will not touch the table for next 20 minutes. Slow service :P

I came here with my cousin for breakfast on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by the population density (one large table with work peeps, a few couples and friends scattered here and there). <br/><br/>FOOD: <br/><br/>IDLI: Idli was good, but horrendous experience was with sambar. <br/><br/>The accompanying sambar was pathetic. I know different restaurants have their different styles of sambar and different people look for different things in their sambar. But by my highly subjective standards, minerva's sambar was close to roadside cart sambar. It wasn't practically creamy in texture, thickened by toor dal. There were only a few types of vegetables, but the flavor was quite complex. <br/><br/>SERVICE: Service was slow, but I didn't expect it to be fast given the day and the time. Specifically, it was the bill that was slow in coming, not the food. Our order came almost instantly. <br/><br/>AMBIANCE: The ambiance is casual, but also pleasant and relaxing. Although the restaurant gets very busy, its set up so that it's not cramped. <br/><br/>VALUE FOR MONEY: Prices seems to be okay, but first morsel define it overly pricey compare to the taste and quality. When you take my money, you do risk my wrath. I have nothing all good to say about my most recent overpriced meal at minerva. <br/><br/>I guess it wasn't quite what I expected this was a regrettable experience. Still I'm willing to give it another shot, but my meal totally ruined my day. Again, not a place I'd be rushing back too either. If the food had been better, I'd feel differently, but in this city, there are so many other options. <br/><br/>Food-2/5 <br/>Service-3/5 <br/>value for money-1.5/5 <br/>Ambiance-3.5/5 <br/><br/>Overall-2.5/5

At night 9:30 and after a hectic day of attending functions, when your wife does not have the time or energy to cook, you look out for places near home especially when you have a small baby whose sleep time is passed by. Once such day we decided to try Minerva Coffee Shop in Ameerpet. I hadn't heard good reviews about the restaurant but then that was the nearest place where we knew tables would be available and also a known brand and so decided to take the risk and try it out.<br/><br/>When we reached the restaurant it was quite confusing with the Valet situated at the back side of the restaurant and if you don't drop people at the entrance to the restaurant, you all have to walk the whole distance to come to the entrance. I guess since it was late the valet was not available. The seating in the restaurant was prompt and the table we requested was given without a hitch. <br/><br/>Coming to the food, we ordered Idly, well a safe option since you cannot tinker too much with the idly, but must say that the idly was as good as we get in Himayath Nagar Minerva (My benchmark for Minerva coffee shops in Hyderabad). Both the Idly and Sambhar was hot. Next we ordered Masala Dosa, Set Dosa and Onion Rava Dosa. Masala Dosa and Set Dosa were very nice and hot. Set Dosa especially was very good. The only disappointment was the Rava Dosa, it was neither hot nor crisp. The dosa had become a little soggy due to oil. I believe there was a lag between the time it was made and served. The final item we ordered was tea which was as good as expected.<br/><br/>A special mention about the staff, they are very courteous and good. Overall it was a pleasant experience.<br/><br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Ambience: 3.5/5<br/>Service: 4.25/5

This is a good restaurant on a reasonable budget. Keeping with the reasonable budget is the ambience. Not for an extravagant restaurant experience. Authentic place for south indian and among the hustle and bustle of ameerpet.
Bhopendro Meinam Singh
This is one of the best restaurant in Ameerpet area. You can enjoy the fun of having a 70 mm paper dosa here only. All south Indian dishes are really tasty as well as the south Indian thali. Coffee is not that good here. customers service is very impressive. We need not to wait for long. You can come out within half an hour, if you are going only for tiffins....
