Review Blue Fox - Hyderabad

My recent visit to blue fox left me with a mixed impression. The dinner they offered was decent, with a good variety of items spanning different styles and cuisine. The restaurant was well maintained and unique.

An evening we went to watch movie and decided to stop and had dinner at this hotel..and it was worth for stopping. Ambience was good and food was tasting better, liked baby corn manchurian, crispy corn and the dessert. Serving was good and not much noise around us !!!

This restaurant is right opposite to LVPEI and on the first floor of the PVR building. The ambience is good and the decor of the place is well setup. We were quite hungry and went here for a quick lunch. We ordered Chicken biryani and it was very well prepared. The quantity was good for 3 of us and we were satisfied with the food. Overall a good place to have meal.

The restaurant serves veg and non veg with liquor. The food is really tasty and the ambience is calm too. My visit was at weekday and the service was really great there was no time waiting for a service. Humble staff with good food advisory. The quantity off curries served is little more than other restaurants served. The bill was trainable as per the taste , ambience and service served.

It's in the first floor of cinimax n it's opposite to Prasad eye hospital jubli hills, the bonquet hall is suitable for engagement, birthday n all other small functions.The main hall with stage is for main functions n adjacent hall is for dining,the food served is tasty n table arrangements r good, the lighting is sufficient

One of the finest places to relish the dishes of Blue Fox. One thing very clear about Blue Fox is their standard, they don't tweek much with the dishes it's nothing exciting but they are true to their cuisine,standards are amazing once you have it you will come back for more.

Fabulous to see the Bluefox is having beautiful ambience with ample lounge of meetings and conferences. It's has also very beautiful dining and Food quality is awesome and the likes of hospitality will be remembered for life. The team of serving services is well behaved . The location is very artistic in the centre.

Beautiful Ambience , the service was so prompt , food was served so fast also hot and fresh.This is the first time I experienced such great service and food in Hyderabad. I'd recommend this place and branch in particular . Keeping in mind the pandemic every safety and hygiene was taken . Blue Fox.. Name itself speaks at Telangana and Andhrapradesh. Located in prime place. Good ambience. Delicious food and good service.

I have always Loved Blue fox since my childhood. The food has always been delicious here. The quanity served is also generous. In our last visit we ordered Paneer Majestic, Dal Makhani, Kadai Veg, Butter Tandoori Roti and Dum Biryani. All of them were great! Surprisingly the quantity and Quality of Dal makhani was quite good unlike many restaurants. We were 5 people and the food was filling. Would recommend and visit again.

Blue fox is having beautiful ambience and spacious lounge of meetings and conferences. It's has also very beautiful dining room. Well decorated. Food quality and variety is good .staffs are also well behaved . Location of the hotel is also centrally located.

Wanted to go for a restaurant for the first time post lock down, decided on this as there's some level of hygiene that's expected from Blue fox. To our expectation, the level of hygiene is upto the mark with all the staff maintaining the protocol of COVID-19. Regarding the food, we ordered two starters. And rotis as main course along with Kadai chicken. And they didn't let us down, blue fox's standard is intact. Very happy with the food taste. *Chicken spring roll is a must try here* Enjoy your meal with a lovely ambience, with decent safety measures. Expect a large crowd over the weekends.

I ordered dynamite shrimps which where good but the cold coffee was just not coffee but just a chocolate drink. Still giving 3 stars for the ambience

Service was not upto expectations and they asked us to leave before 11 whereas on zomato app it showed open till 12 am.

Happened to stay with Minerva hotel during friends visit to Hyderabad. Blue box serves excellent breakfast with great variety and delicious food. We also experienced dinner here and food was equally amazing. Lamb biryani was winner overall with succulent pieces and right amount of spices infused in rice. Ambiance is average but it gets compensated in food quality and service.

We had ordered food from this restaurant for dinner and Panner 65 was one of the dishes. Although it was exorbitantly priced at Rs. 345, we nevertheless went for it. However, the quality of the dish was appalling. The paneer was as hard as a rock and the taste was not even close to what was expected. It really makes me wonder why on Earth would anyone pay Rs. 345 for such pathetic quality. What was hoped to be a happy family dinner turned out to be a great disappointment.<br/><br/>I hope that the restaurant would consider this as a constructive feedback and improve the quality of their food.<br/><br/>

Another family favourite. Lovely place for spending a weekend with your friends and family. Cool ambience will give you comfortable feel. Staffs are well mannered. Food here is mouth watering. Each and every dish is cooked perfectly. Must try sea food here.

Liked the food,they are tasty.. separate sections for bar and restaurant...but I liked the bar section ;) ...where they have decorated very nicely...with dim lights, colorful hangings and all... restaurant is also good.. biryani is very nice.

They are so inconsistent with their standards. Please do not visit this restaurant if you wish to expect great taste and standards based on their ratings. We as a family have been their patrons since they opened in 1982 but today's delivery was far below their charges. A roadside dhaba serves better food. I am never going to order food from this outlet again. I ordered two egg biryanis along with a pepper chicken. The biryani that was delivered, was an egg concoction with steamed Basmati rice. No biryani rice and egg masala served with your Basmati rice is not egg biryani. If you are charging so much, then you better deliver with great quality. Ignore these chain of restaurants at all times as they cannot meet the same standards now.

Mediocre food, arrogant overconfident stewards and a level of service that's average at best. Blue Fox is a terrible excuse for a fine dining restaurant. Never again.

Don’t know how many times I have visited this place....but always satisfied with the food.....must try Apollo fish here....biryani is also awesome...keema naan also a must try !

If you want to enjoy an actual Metropolitan cultured restaurant, this is the place. The taste of Biryani and that of a typical continental Sizzler will be tied to their own roots. Both under one roof. Try their Chicken with Pesto sauce and assorted rice. One of the best unique dish to experience. Staffs are courteous & descent ambience.

Been to this place number of times before, but yesterday was a bad experience. The table wasn't cleaned properly, the cutlery wasn't changed looked like a used cutlery. Had to call and get it changed. Proper change wasn't returned after paying the bill. Not even a mention of it saying sir change isn't available would have been enough but nothing until asked. The food tasted good which was a chicken biryani. The standards are not like it used to be .

Worst service and no one cares the customers.even after repeated complaints also no one responded .<br/>We literally had to wait 60 minutes for the food

The beer here is highly adulterated, either mixed with water or something, Food is not bad though. Be careful about ordering alcohol because they will make u pay for adulterated drinks and u can’t question them also because you are with family.

Does it have a great ambience? Yes it does! but the food? One of the things which we ordered was a chicken biryani here and what we got was burnt chicken and dried up rice. Absolutely disdained by this experience. When we even told the manager (for whom we waited for like 15-20 minutes because he was busy with some other high profile guests) he just nodded his head and didn't even try to apologise or fix the issue. We just paid for it and left because we were really not in the mood to pick a fight that late in the night. Never ever again visiting this place after this pathetic experience!

Ambience is good and pleasant. The menu has got many options and the food is tasty but the service was bad as we had to wait for a longer time.

The place has the most amazing ambience!! The service however is very very slow and staff is very rude! We ordered for chicken tikka, mushroom tikka, manchow soup, boneless chicken and a vegetable biryani!! Every tasted really good! Loved the chickn tikka and biryani.. very well made!! <br/>

This is my usual place. Ambience and hospitality is good and love the food here especially Andhra chicken and mutton fry in starters. Not much to select in mocktails. The main course is good and totally enjoyed the food.

Service was pathetic took, 35 mins for order to come<br/> then they skipped one of the item n they are telling that calmly n no step to get it again, again next order 45 mins that too there wasn't any crowd to be too busy... Worst services wouldn't suggest if u looking for food

I had Veg Biryani @ 11pm saturday. Quantity & quality is amazing. <br/>The gravy they provide along can add extra spice to it.<br/>Very Impressive ambience wid food !!

I’ve been to Blue Fox a few times and have ordered from them as well. I have found the food to be good, but nothing unique. I normally order Indian vegetarian food here, so can’t really comment on the rest of the menu. The service generally has been decent so far - nothing to complain about. And I can say more or less the same about the ambiance- it’s not bad.<br/><br/>However I find this place a bit expensive for what it has to offer. Ignoring the value for money factor, I’d rate it at 4.5 maybe. But as it is, value for money is a factor, and hence I can’t rate it above 4 (or rather, 3.75). We really need more granular ratings in Zomato.<br/><br/>By the way, while the restaurant itself is decent, the mall it is located in is in advanced state of decay. At some point it was a halfway decent mall, but seems like the management doesn’t care about it any more. Keep that in mind if you are looking for shopping or something other than food. I have not counted this factor while rating, but it is something to keep in mind while visiting. It is one of the main reasons why I’ve lately been ordering food from the restaurant instead of visiting personally.

tastes not good

Mushroom is coated in mushroom biryani. Veg jalfrazi is not tasty and not cooked properly. The opinion on blue fox fell deep down.

Went for breakfast yesterday after a friend recommended this place. <br/>Food was good, omelette was too oily though <br/>Coffee was awesome<br/>The guy offer us the bill before we ask, while we are still half way eating. Its was like indicating indirectly saying get out of this place if you are done , our next customer is waiting to occupied the table. Pathetic it was! A great multicuisine restaurant if you are looking for a perfect and satisfactory end. Ample parking, pleasant ambience and courteous staff. Please book at table to avoid disappointment as it is usual busy during week days too. Changing ceiling lights can be quite an attraction for kids to remain silent for a while atleast. :) <br/><br/>I love everything there especially biryani. <br/><br/>A bit on the expensive side though (averagely Rs 600/- per person) but is worth every Rupee spent.<br/><br/>The only issue I have is that the place is a bit too dark for my taste. A bit lighting shall certainly not harm unless saving electricity is the cited reason. ;) :P <br/><br/>If one wants to have a quick lunch there is a cheaper option. I had dinner with my family here, the food was over all average, spicy food lovers one must try chicken 65 here, drawbacks - the service was very slow, we were about 11 people & at the time of starters only one waiter was serving us, the lighting was a bit dim, felt like dining in dhabba's, food was bit expensive compared to similar restaurants

First of all, that mall (Cineplex) is in a very sad dilated condition. There is HARDLY anything worth shopping in there, Only thing that works in that mall is the restaurant (blue fox) and the movie theater. For this pathetic option, they charge high parking, and then when you leave your vehicle in their trust, they steal the petrol from your 2wheeler. It is pathetic. <br/><br/>Coming to the restaurant, the ambience is decent, but service is bad. there was dust in my drink and when i asked them to change it, the waiter became full-time investigator and spend a good 2 minutes in front of me trying to figure out if the dust in the drink is from restaurant or customer ! horrible......<br/><br/>Food was ok, but with this overall experience, i am NOT going to this idiotic mall OR this restaurant again.... #peaceout.

Very slow service... Have been waiting for food for more than half an hour... still waiting. Didn't see even a slightest movement in what we asked for. Very sad experience not expected for a tag like 'Blue Fox'.absolute disappointment!

Nice. But soooo dark could not see a thing, almost...the mutton biryani was a tad too spicy. The mutton stringy and most pieces without meat that could not be shorn off with a knife. Hungry, so it sufficed....

Had my birthday dinner here with my friend. Loveeed the ambience however our dinner date was spoiled a bit because of the Gang of drunk men sitting next to our bay who went over board with their talks. Thank God for the partitions in bay in the restaurant. It did felt bit scary though. The staff couldn't say much or do much but I believe the restaurant should have bouncers for such occasions. Anyways had a chicken dish which turned out to be very spicy and naan. The veg starters was yummy. In the end I felt the restaurant bit high on the price. For me I categorize this in luxury dining.

Great ambience and good food no doubt but a tad bit high priced. Family dinner or dates will be a good hit.<br/>Found out that corona beer and chicken wontons go well together. Chicken butter masala was good. Chicken hakka noodles and chilli chicken was another good combo. The place is good fr experimentation but only wid food.

When you decide past 11 PM that you want to go fine dining and most places in the town turn you down.. This lovely place welcomes you with open arms.. It turned out to be a saviour for me. I loved the ambiance and the mojito.. The noodles and gravy was pretty average.. But the service has been really warm! We were so lazy and stayed till late, much past their closing time but the service had no compromise.. which is commendable! :)

After a long wait of almost few years, i landed at this place with a foodie friend  of mine for a quick dinner. The place just amazed me with their ambience. proper fine dining, dim lighting on every table and those amazing falling LED tubes on the roof changing their colors every 5 to 10 mins.<br/><br/>This was basically an unplanned visit. as time was less on our hand, we decided to order the following : chicken manchow soup, Russian Salad, Murgh Banjara Kebab, Mutton Kali Mirch, Butter and Garlic Naans , Jhinga Masala. Russian salad for me was the show stopper of the night. The was the best i had in a long long time. kudos to chef for this one. The remaining starter were pretty decent. Nothing wow or worst. Another dish which impressed me was jhinga masala. The service on the other hand was slow but looking at the restaurant with most of the tables occupied, we could give that a go. over all a very decent place for a delicious meal.

This should be listed in top10 restaurants of Hyderabad..amazing ambiance and delicious food..had telangana chicken with pulka..it was perfectly perfect..mouthwatering..in desserts litchies with ice-cream was okay..service is too good..

I went here for a Dusshera lunch . The ambience is cozy and is the only thing good about the restaurant. Ordered Veg Manchow soup which was extremely bland . Had to add lots of pepper to make it taste decent. Mushroom Chili starter was super crispy and tasted real good. Had to wait over 25mins for main course even though there were hardly any customers. Yes, the service was very slow. Schezwan fried was simply average. Overall a disappointing experience. There are much better restaurants in the vicinity.

Been there with one friend of mine back from college days. As he is not a drink lover we chose to have some good dinner near his stay.<br/><br/>This place was suggested by him. We settled down and this place has a great ambiance. We traversed through the menu, I wasn't in the mood to have non-veg so I went for Paneer Fingers and he went for threaded chicken.<br/><br/>I had those fingers and they were yummy with little spices overdose to it. I liked it but it surely wasn't able to make upto my list of favorites.<br/><br/>Followed to that I ordered my favorite curd rice to quench rest of my hunger. It was just another average dish one can make here in down south.

They have a good ambience and food is really great. Their must try would be chicken majestic and schezwan paneer. You'll love the place. You'll feel it to have a little high price but try it out.

A combination of good food, BRILLIANT ambience and slightly higher prices, Blue Fox makes a good outlet for those who have cash on them, and need good quality food with alcohol.<br/><br/>The dim lighting, with focus on each table separately giving privacy from neighbouring tables shows in their arrangement.<br/><br/>Apollo Fish is one if the best dishes. A visit to blue fox is incomplete without that dish. Apart from that Chicken starters are good as well. We tried Chicken Schezwan, and it maintained the schezwan flavour very well.<br/><br/>Lahori Murgh, and 3 butter naan was sufficient in the main course for two people.<br/><br/>Courteous staff + Good quantity + Good service makes it a memorable experience.<br/><br/>Cost may seem slightly on the higher side, but it is worth it (when you take a friend who is treating you :P) Trinisha Thomas :P

4 marks for ambiance and half marks for drinks. Can't remember much about the food. It has been over 6 years but the ambiance is still playing well on the mind.

Ambiance- Its lovely and beautiful, I loved the lights arrangement and actually it gives a romantic kind environment once you enter the restaurant. I went for lunch but it seems like night inside, totally in love with ambiance- 5/5 from my side. Seating capacity is huge and very spacious as well as comfortable.<br/><br/>Food- Ordered for 2 LIITS,Beer, starters Machi Nizami and main course Lahori chicken and tandoori roti. Everything was just perfect and delicious. Being in bachelor mode gives a family man window of opportunity to tick off long time pending list with foodie. So me and my foodie partner BROSKI planned to tick this place on 3rd May for a dinner meetup.<br/><br/>The place is a feel good up-ish style place located in R K Cineplex building in Banjara Hills Road #2. Ambience was dark, relaxed and had a cozy feeling but the moment we took our camera out, we were stopped stating no pictures and need to get permission. BOOM our josh udugaye.. I mean where is the liberty of food reviewing then. So we locked our gadgets back which is a dampener feeling. Still respected their what so called decision.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>We had chicken manchow soup, Russian Salad, Murgh Banjara Kebab, Mutton Kali Mirch, Butter and Garlic Naans , Jhinga Masala.<br/>Everything was good in flavors and quantity.<br/>Russian Salad was amazing and nicely chill - PICK OF THE DAY.<br/>Both starters were amazing and nicely spiced and complimented the old monk for me. Slurp time I should say particularly with Mutton Kali Mirch - Amazing Dish.<br/><br/>Jhinga Masala was also a very good dish overall though I felt the prawns could have been cooked a bit more.<br/><br/>Overall food did impress me in a good way.<br/><br/>Service was nothing WOW but as adequete though it was slow and sluggish as the place filled up over the night. <br/><br/>A bit pricy for a normal dining experience but if you want to have fine dining feel and still have good food in this area, Its a very good option.<br/><br/>Overall impressed with the place and I'm definitely coming back to try more..<br/><br/>Ambiance : 4/5<br/>Food & Quality : 4.5/5<br/>Service : 3.5/5<br/>Overall : 4/5

Been a regular customer for blue fox since ages now love the food as always has the best ambience with great customer service and crowd... even today went to blue fox loved the starters and the mutton biryani... yumm... blue fox is always a safe bet if you wanna go out on a date or with family...

Short and Crisp Review<br/><br/>Happen to land at this place for a quick bite before a movie. The idea was to have some Chinese, like many other Indo-Chinese kind of places this one also serves Chinese which caters to the Indian pallet and in all fairness I really liked the food. It was tangy, tasty and most importantly exquisitely spicy. Soup, Starters & Main Course all were pretty decent. Dim lighting on the roof of the restaurant also looked quite well.

Awesome!!! The ambience was just amazing.. Such a beautiful place to go out with someone and spend quality time. Never seen such kind of atmosphere and ambience in any other restaurants.<br/>Coming to the food, it was nice and tasty. No negative comments!!<br/>Looking forward to visit again. :)

We have ordered take aways many a times from here. One thing you can trust is that there is no bad dish on the menu and you wont be disappointed ordering anything. <br/><br/>If you are having a get together or an office lunch and you don’t know what to order in veg, trust this place, the vege items are fresh and pretty good. Nonveg times are good but the sauces are quite avg. The vegetarian dishes had good balance of spices, and loads of fresh vegetables. Pretty prompt in order delivery, nice spill proof packaging.<br/><br/>Some of the items that I have enjoyed eating from here are :Chicken Manchurian,Sweet & Sour vegetable,Chicken in Hot garlic sauce,Five treasure vegetables,Veg Schezwan fried rice,Chinese veg fried rice and Vegetable dum biriyani.

Went to this place in my engineering second year. The ambience is oh my God 😍 we have two separate places. One side it's like a restaurant with beer glasses hanging upside down. The other side it's like a round table where you can chill with your friends. All the items are good. Staff is friendly. Must try.

Located in of the finest places in Hyderabad, Blue Fox, Banjara Hills has its own speciality in maintaining its ambience. The ceiling lit up with dim lights which gradually change and the tables' order and seating arrangement is just the best way to have a romantic dinner. The service provided to diners was really good.<br/><br/>Apart from these, there is nothing special to talk about. We had a very simple dinner, just 2 plates of crispy corn and 4 butter naans with paneer butter masala. They took 15mins to get the starter and we almost waited for 40 mins to get the main course. The costs were too high and I didn't have the satisfaction to enjoy every penny I had spent.<br/>

considering blue fox brand, i had to glance through other bad reviews before writing this one. initially, i thought may be just bad day for me... after going other reviews my assessment firmed and thought something really wrong with this branch of bluefox. shaddy ambience, definitely no no if you are out with family quite in contrast to its other branches. coming to service, staff and manager - impolite, arrogant and customer service is next to zero. service staff inspite of seeing empty glasses, i had request every time for water. after serving rice it is implicit to serve dal, looks like this branch gives special training to its waiters on how to ignore or provide inferior service. all this i would have accomodated when it was rush hour or peak time, this was when there were hardly 5 occupied tables. something really wrong with this joint, surely to be avoided if you are with family and looking for good service. hope this branch picks some best practices from its himayathnagar branch.

One of my all time Favourite place in love with the ambience a good date with quality time with my love many times here, this tym its my bday lunch with Apollo fish and chicken man chow soup along with minty passion mocktail and chivas regal scotch quality food keeps tummy yummy, so well and tenderly cooked fish was spicy and mouth watery, not satisfied with the mocktail very good service with perfect ambience, will be back very shortly 😍

Disaster, feeling sick, wrong number, illogical staff service, complete waste of time & then money, spoilt our Sunday Diner totally hopeless. <br/>This and much more is my experience to Blue Fox today the 11/10/2015.<br/><br/>First initially we order 1 fresh lime soda, 1 thumps up and 1 beer along with masala papad. To Start of with is masala papad had very less masala on it.... It looked as if it was made with the left over stuffs.... but yet we took it light coz it was 10.30pm, latter when my friend who is a big time drinker sipped the beer, he felt it flat so called the waiter and told to check the date of liquor bottle, he checked and said 15th May 2015 to which my friend went bonkers coz he never drinks any drink less than 1 month of manufacture & I too know that how particular he is with his drinks. I just took it light until my friend asked to replaced it and the waiter said no sir you will have to finish this only to which I lost it. I asked him to call his senior so he said he is the senior lol. Seeing him no one can tell he is senior manager on the floor. And he kept arguing to an extend I told my friend just crap it let's enjoy the diner.<br/><br/> Ahh bus the extreme worst moment hand to land when I saw the dal fry face and chinese chopsey face ......<br/><br/>Truly Truly speaking my maid cooks thousand time better dal, this dal was so thick without proper salt and tadka with kacha lasan in it with lot of zeera/ria. It looked as if some stale dal which was kept in the fridge for more than 3-4 days was reheated and served.<br/><br/>Now let's come to chinese. Chinese Chopsey, is suppose to be the finest dish as it has no spices in it. But this chopsey was like water. The beaten egg which needs to blend nicely with the chopsey while cooking was completely kacha(uncooked). Till date where ever I have eaten chopsey they have served crispy noodles at the base and the chopsey over it. Over here the case was different one bowl contained chopsey and other bowl contained crispy noodles. No taste at all more over feeling pukky due to it.<br/><br/>Don't take orders after 10pm if you all can't manage it. Why waste someone's time and spoil the stomach and mouth taste.<br/> It's a crime for cheating people like this. God has saved your type of people by not having laws as aboard of suing.<br/><br/>When a customer pays it's his full and legal rights to get the best and not the left over or for name sake stuffs.<br/><br/>I had very high expectations from you all. the other day I guided one of my friend to go to your restaurant rather than dhaba. I guess that's the reason why I had to face this circumstance.<br/><br/>I want the management to respond back to me. Coz this was not all. When we entered we wanted a corner seat, we requested the waiter to let us sit on that table and we shall dine soon and leave, to which he insisted that no you can't sit there as they have to start preparing for breakfast. Have you all lost it, at 10.30pm you tell a customer you can't sit on a particular seat coz we are preparing for next day breakfast God dam is that a joke.<br/><br/>After seating our self's on the other table, the waiter laid the plates without napkins that are suppose to be on the table. More over when the plates were laid (I guess lol) they should be spoon and fork as well. But we had to remind the waiter that buddy where are the spoon do we need to have food with fingers.<br/><br/>Totally hopeless. Don't know even my review will bring some sense into you all & if it does then I need a compensation for it as you all have spoiled the overall experience of my Sunday Dining. Blue Fox is now a Nightmare for me. And I so wish I could have sued you all for this disaster and this uneasy feeling due to eating your dal and that chopsey.<br/><br/>Ask anyone if they have eaten chopsey with onions. to finish my plate food I had to eat onions with chopsey which nobody does in mumbai atleast.<br/>

Very nice place for your date. It has got pink and blue theme. It was 2 of us and we got to get a cozy blue place with comfortable sofas. The food was served quickly and we had tried mushroom veggies. It was delicious and mouth melting. However with starters they were standard and nothing new..But still Ambiance is the thing!! It's the ambience that will get your attention. Those lights are magnificent accompanied by good music just sets your mood right. The food and beverages were good. Didn't have much time to check out varieties of food they had to offer, as we reached there 5 minutes before the last order. However the experience was good and would definitely visit back and pamper my taste buds. Cheers

The food was good lahori chicken and loose prawns was awesome but the tandoori roti was made from wheat flour but manager was arguing me that will be made like that only. But overall the experience was good.
