Great views and best coconut chutney in Hyderabad. We had gone early for breakfast and had idlis with filter coffee. The idlis are quite jumbo in size and are served with two good chutneys. The coconut chutney has been the best we have tasted anywhere in Hyderabad so far. The other tomato chilly chutney is quite hot. The filter coffee too is a great accompaniment. The place affords great views of the lake which is a big plus

This place really needs to have a disclaimer that it isn't a full fledged version of Minerva Coffee Shop. We went to the restaurant in Somajiguda and were very happy with the food. The menu at this place was extremely limited with some dosa, idly & uttapam options. We ordered a curd rice, expecting it to be the thick and creamy curd rice topped with pomegranate and cashews which we had had at the other Minerva. Instead, we were served with an extremely watery curd rice with absolutely no taste or substance with a few curry leaves and mustard seeds floating on top. It seemed more like buttermilk rice than curd rice and we were so so disappointed.

When I entered in to this this restaurant I liked the way they maintained . Coming to the food I have eaten different varieties of food every thing was fine with the taste and service was excellent the way employee was behaving. Coming to the prices were little expensive for the common people so that was reason i have reduced one star

This is a review from multiple visits:

First the location: awesome set up by the Hussain Sagar lake; one can set for hours together. Ever since we came to know that Minerva has an outlet at Eat street, we stopped visiting their Himayat Nagar outlet, well, almost.

What to eat? All South Indian items; perhaps they serve one of the best sambars in Hyderabad, which goes with their softest of idlis and their tasty chutney with their crispiest of vadas. Poori and masala combo too does tastes good!

Service: it's a self-service outlet and service is efficient!

Been here after years, to taste the chole bhature, again. They have maintained the taste. Two bhature, and pleasantly not oily. Tasty chole with it, with a potato in it. Onions, a slice of cucumber, lemon piece and a blanched chilly on the side. A must try...for 110 bucks AI...

Being at Eat Street, it has a nice location advantage. The South Indian food is good and has most of the common South Indian cuisine items. Has a nice view of the lake and is fun with family and friends. The place gives you choice of other cuisines in the other places at Eat Street as well.

I was always a fan of Their idlis, dosas and chutneys. This time I tried something which I had not tried before. Their South Indian meal. I was fairly good in taste and also variety. But things were not served very hot. Only on request they got some heated refills. The overall experience was satisfactory and can call it a decent place for visiting once in a while.

Had been to this place early morning and trust me this is one of the finest locations in Hyderabad to be at.
Hussain Sagar Lake and ย green Parks around with view of second tallest Flat post in India is the best part. The Ambiance is very nice.We had south Indian breakfast idly ,wada and dosa and they tasted nice.Coffee was just ok. This place is must go for everyone.

Well it's the kind of place where you get good south Indian dishes with a great view.
It is well appreciated by a wide range of eaters for its distinctive taste. The place is usually packed in the mornings and late evenings...
A few items can seem over priced fur the quantity offered but... You gotta let go once in a while, you know...
You gotta sometimes bear with the distinctive odor thrown by our beloved hussain sagar. But if you look past it... It's all good..
What an ambience and great setting. Just outside Husain sagar lake this place is awesome. Pick your food from Minerva shop and get seated. Becomes difficult on a weekend. The sambhar rice is a nice pick.
