OK..The shawarma might be good and the grills too! Nice work done in hyderabad "the orignal shawarma" guys! But...the shawarma u r selling is overpriced! Seriously! That is not the price a shawarma is sold. I've eaten shawarma's all over the world...Turkish,lebanese,saudi etc in those arab coutries which are very high on taste! And the price of the shawarma when converted into indian rupees does not exceed 100rs...lol They might be paying far more rents and other expenses definitely than a restaurant in hyd. So i highly recommend that u revise the prices so more customers are attracted to ur business and yeah opening a branch in tolichowki will be a killer idea! SHAWARMA FAN HERE

I was horrified to find that Spiced Mushroom had pieces of Chicken in it. This is outrageous and completely unacceptable. I am a pure vegetarian and having this served in my food is the worst experience that I could have with The original Shawarma. I have been a regular customer of this restaurant and after this incident I am definitely not visiting this place again. As a statement of advice, restaurants should be extra careful with serving vegetarian food because it can be a matter of religious practice/ personal/moral principle to not consume meat. And when this is taken lightly by restaurants, it reflects poorly on their service sense.

One of the best spots to be, if you're looking for a great time and delicious pittas. Highly recommended!

Apart from that, I loved the place!

The shawarma is wholesome and one fills your stomach. The outbursts of flavours with the soft khubus is a thing to look out for.<br/><br/>One of my favourite outlets for my staple, it has a good variety of choices.<br/><br/>Only the price is on the higher side.

The Original Shawarma has multiple outlets in the twin city of Hyderabad. I had ordered Chicken Shawarma many times and everytime it was a good experience.<br/><br/>The taste was good and it was consistent all the times whenever I had ordered. The price is reasonable and it's value for money.

I have been here 2 years back and lately too. I could feel the difference in taste. <br/>First time I had shawarma in Hyderabad at this place. The taste was too good. Well balanced spice, olives, salads, and chicken. The pita bread was also well baked. I totally loved the Hummus, no doubt. It was too creamy and light to taste.  <br/>Hookah- Average.  <br/><br/>The lamb gyro & rice under Mediterranean style was also yummy. I didn’t like Baklava though. Chilly chicken kebab was disappointing. <br/><br/>Anyways overall its an amazing place to try different Mediterranean food, specifically Lebanese cuisine. <br/><br/>Looking Forward to visit again soon :)

Saw them offering a 50% off deal on swiggy and couldn't help myself order a chicken souvlaki kebab and a chicken over hummus at a steal price of 130 for the two dishes.<br/><br/>Chicken over hummus - Diced chicken spread on top of hummus served with 2 pita breads. The hummus was good and the chicken on too added a nice taste and tastes even better with the pita.<br/><br/>Chicken Souvlaki kebab - Chicken nuggets marinated in Mediterranean species and grilled on sticks . The taste is very good and is a welcome change from the regular chicken kebabs.<br/><br/>Good food and got a great deal . But the hummus and pita will make me order more from here.

I loved the Arabian dishes here. A delightful experience at the original shawarma. Humus were soft and filled with nice fresh chicken and mayo dripping. Ambience is something they could work on. Food is lovely!

The shawarma had more veggies than chicken. The fries in combo were completely burnt. Weren't in edible at all. If you do not want to give the best food in combo please remove that item.

What can I say, first time I order from this restaurant and there are items missing. Ordered a Shawarma meal which includes a coke but did not get the coke. Moreover, as a Zomato Treats subscriber, I was supposed to get a Baklava cake, which too was missing.

really pathetic food quality and ambience is so-so , outside seating area is very dusty. chicken was cooked on the tawa rather than on the spit, really hard chicken , only one desert option was there and no ice cream for it. rice was made perhaps yesterday or day before and heated , basically tasteless food . I just hope I don't fall sick . do not recommend anyone to try this place

there is no less rating than this otherwise i would hav marked it as zero rating..food came completely uncooked..they just wrapped some mayo n chcken in a dough and packed..when i opened the foil evrything was leaking and broked i just dropped it in the bin

this is the worst experienced I've ever had having a shawarma... the cool drink was completely in hot temperature... with only one sauce sachet and only a couple of French fries were provided.... I will not recommend anyone for this

This is good place to hangout with friends and grab a bite of Shawarma. They provide outdoor seating and also TV on Protector screen. Need to improve the food quality according to the price and everything else is okay.

I ordered a shawarma. As I was waiting for it, he started to fry some chicken pieces on a pan. When asked , he said the shawarma machine wasn’t working. So, what’s the point in selling a shawarma. You should not be selling those until you get the machine fixed.

I used to love The Original Shawarma for it's Lebanese food. I've ordered innumerable times in the past, my fav being their shawarma ofcourse. I placed an order for the Chicken Shawarma Meal Combo 1 which consisted of Rice+Minced Chicken Shawarma meat, a portion of Greek Salad and a beverage. <br/><br/>The greek salad I wasn't aware had an overhaul recently. It was four pieces of cabbage with a sauce which was very tangy. Nothing else. Yup, thats the new Greek Salad folks! <br/><br/>The chicken in the meal was very dry, seemed like it wasn't stored well or they were using old stale meat. It was chewy and hard. The 2 sauces that would have saved the rice were the tahini & the tzatziki.<br/><br/>Now here is the deal, you sent me a sauce (tzatziki) which was spoilt. Yup, it smelled and tasted even worse. I sadly had a spoon trusting you monkeys and now I am sat here at home punctured by frequent visits to the rest room.<br/><br/> Please don't take this lightly and work on your quality. I am saddened that this place which I enjoyed so much food from is now serving stale food to its customers. I would have definitely given you lesser than 1, but Zomato has told me I cannot do that.<br/> <br/><br/>PS : Stop serving food that puts your customers into trouble.

The staff of the outlet is all local who don’t know much about any other language other than theirs, could be a difficult issue while ordering. <br/>The shawarma and it’s quality is pretty good. The mayo and other fillings except for the chicken is good as well. It’s a a good overall experience other than the language problem.

Pita bread was not good, the bread was not cooked properly, hence it was very very chewy, and hard to break. <br/><br/>Mushroom wrap: The outside bread had the same problem as the pita bread, but because of sauces inside it was comparatively softer. The filling inside was very tasty. <br/><br/>Chocolava: I didn't like the Chocolava cake. It wasn't really Chocolava, the gave it with chocolate sauce and the taste was wierd. It's texture was weirdly rubbery so didn't like it.<br/><br/>Falafal pita pocket: Very tasty. Although it had too much southwest mayo.<br/><br/>Hummus and pita bread: Bread was cooked properly but I didn't like the hummus. Tried their chicken shawarma meal. Really liked the combo of sahaan chicken and salad. The quantity is enough for two people. Thumbs up for good taste and packaging.

Frequented this restaurant after a year and it was a sorely disappointing experience. There was no waiter to take our order and after sometime we had to go inside to place our order. Most of the items on the menu were not available. When our meals finally did arrive it was cold. I ordered a shwarma and the middle of it was ice cold, meaning the food is not freshly prepared but frozen and reheated. I'm terrible vexed at my horrible experience at what was once a good place to dine.

We took the combo 1 chicken shawarma and Combo 1 paneer shawarma. The chicken shawarma and Paneer shawarma tasted mediocre and the fries tasted okay. The ambiance wasn't that great.

The closest replica to the shawarmas I’ve had in Dubai is the one served at the Original Shawarma! Just loved it combined with the cheesy fries

i used to be a regular customer of TOS. i had Lebanese platter many times but always in dine in. First time I ordered for delivery and disaster. yes I will call it a disaster because quantity is less and lamb chops are missing. lamb seekh kebab quality and TOSS kebab was good. falafel was ok. chicken used to be so different previously but now it is no different from tikka kebab and reshmi kebab and it is not soft. And the most important part is lamb chops were not even present. i don't know this is due to lack of packing containers or not. i have paid ₹24 for packaging only and I am getting a not that big container stuffed with kebabs. it is normal that much quantity cannot be stuffed in one container. They were not bothered about quantity. Stuffed items which can be pushed and left the rest. Even did not bothered to put lamb chops. So delivery experience pathetic. I will not visit this joint for sure. I dislike lack of consistency.

Order came on time but bummer, there was no bill, the delivery guy said, Resturant said they don't provide bill. When we called the place, the guy is not willing to talk to me, and said if we want bill, can come by and take it. <br/><br/>Then they start hanging up on us. We did a complain to zomato for same.<br/><br/>This isn't all, there is more....<br/>We opened the packet and found missing items, Grilled Pita and Falafel dumplings were missing. As they were not ready to talk, we had a chat with Zomato customer support, and the best part is, they were not picking up the Zomato customer care call too. What a shame!!! These guys are not ready to accept there fault.<br/><br/>About food, there is nothing to say, it's just average, there are lots of other places which serves much better than this.<br/><br/>So..... Never Again !!!

I have tried the pita pockets, shawarma wraps and the spiced mushroom. Each dish was well prepared and really touched my taste palette. The pita and kubbus bread were very good too. The staff is very welcoming and are quick in service. Even though the place is very well maintained, the ambience can improve. So go for a takeaway or get it delivered.

For the price that they charge the meals are quite sumptuous and hence worth the price charged. Although I did not quite like the dips that they give but barring that quite a good place to order take out from on a budget.

Original Shawarma is one of a very few places that serve authentic and delicious Shawarmas in the city! There is a big list of items besides shawarmas. You may find many a food stalls serving shawarmas, but this place surely is better than many of those with the delicious taste, hygiene environment and decent ambience. <br/>lamb shawarma is a must try from this place. They also serve a few other items like flavoured rice, pockets and pita bread with hummus. Though the prices are a little higher than the other places around, it’s worth for the quality of the food being served!

Ordered one chicken shawarma...price 174 rupees...exorbitant.....taste below average....i reiterate till date the best shawarma in hyderabad is available at malepally ....and also road side eateries opp to ratnadeep super market,madhapur....when compared with both of these...the original shawarma taste is nothing.... first they have ti improve the taste and next they have to reduce the price...else in one year they have to close shop...i will never ever visit again...

The restaurant does not understand the meaning of shawarma. The rolls are full of olives, onions jalapeños and Chuck's of chicken( not grilled but cooked on frying pan) . shawarma is generally non spicy. Their's is full of spices. I won't ever return here

A decent place to have shawarma in Hyderabad. Taste is amazing. Ambience is neat. The only let down is the service. People are slow and not attentive. They need to look into this. Had chicken shawarma and minced lamb roll. Both are delicious. Can visit this place multiple times provided you have patience

My first visit here was to pick up a Minced Lamb Shawarma for takeaway and it tasted so delicious that I parked the car by the side and finished eating it peacefully. So naturally, the second visit was looked forward to. But sadly, the second one wasnt as good as the first. Was there on a weekday for dinner and we were seated outside and had IPL on large screen to keep us entertained. There was only one table that was occupied apart from ours. We ordered for the paneer stuffed pita bread, lamb cutlet meal and the fries with cheese. The Pita bread and paneer was okay. Nothing bad to write about it, but it wasnt anything to go bonkers over either. The Lamb Cutlet meal was disappointing though. Am not familiar with Lebanese cuisine, so am not sure if the cuisine itself isnt as high on spices and tends to be bland or if the preparation here was the culprit, but it tasted bland. Even found it low on salt to be honest. The flavored rice was okayish, but when the cutlet itself was off the mark, it would be too optimistic for the rice to save it. Since we werent very full and had time to kill, ordered for French Fries with cheese. Make no mistake, you get loads of cheese. So if you arent a big fan, make sure you let them know in advance. We found the cheese content too high for our liking, but it nonetheless tasted nice. The pricing is decent I would say. But I am now sure that I would pick this place blindly for the shawarmas (as if the name didnt suggest already, duh!), but would not be too excited about other things

Ambience was good except there was no a/c or water sprinklers in this scorching hot environment neither indoors nor outdoors.Outdoor seating with bamboo chairs was nice but cleanliness can be improved.Service was prompt.We had grilled chicken shawarma kabab,chicken shawarma wrap and paneer pocket which were good.We will give the place one more try sometime.

I had ordered food for delivery from here so I can't comment on the ambiance and the service in the restaurant but I can tell about the taste of the food. <br/>I had ordered Falafel Wrap and Hummus with pita bread. <br/>The falafel wrap was good it wasn't dry and there were perfect quantity of sauce in it. The falafel was cooked to perfection and tasted good. <br/>Not taking about the hummus with pita bread, the hummus was good with a pungent taste of how it should actually be. There was nothing special about the pita bread it was like any other place.
