Review Softy Den - Hyderabad

It's my childhood frequently family place. Nice place for yummy Milkshakes & Thickshakes of different fruit flavors with some hot items too(veg) at very reasonable rates. Looks very simple from out but it's too good for families.

Delicious ice-cream. There are variety flavors that one could choose from and the servings are also large. I ate the choco-choco dip ice cream and it was filling.

Softy Den.. This ice cream outlet has been in Hyderabad since like forever. Located just opposite to St. George's School at Chirag Ali Lane, Abids. My parents used to visit here way back in 1995. So, after a long long gap they were here. It was my first time so I found the place to be good. Prices are slightly on the higher side. However the ice creams are something different. The texture is light, frothy and creamy with a slight sweet taste not too overpowering. The best ice cream I've had in a while. My parents too found the taste to be similar to what they had back in 1995. There are new additions to the menu now like pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, fries and milkshakes.

Been visiting this cafe since my teenage every weekend my sister used to take me to softy den . The pizza and garlic bread are yummy and i love the rainbow ice cream , casata ice cream , chocolate truffle ice cream , milkshakes are very refreshing . Overall very good food.

Favourite place for ice cream we have been going since childhood! Do try their Milkshakes and Ice Cream Sundaes Prices are pocket friendly and would recommend you to visit them definitely!

Icecream is very soft. Try only Chocolate or vanilla. Other options he will put vanilla and essence of that. We had mango and chocolate.

First time visited for ice-cream after dinner. Varieties are good. Self service and simple ambience. Good.

This is the ice cream place I have been visiting since I was in school,I recently took my kids to have ice cream on our visit.Ice cream was good but i strongly feel that neatness should be maintained well.Also the staff should be more proactive.

I remember i used to visit Softy Den numerous times with my parents as a kid. It was previously in the Mayur Kushal Complex and I have quite a few memories of visiting there.<br/><br/>Lately, I have started visiting this place frequently again, only for the Softy 😋. For me, it's really satisfying to have that chocolate softy, a similar version of frozen yoghurt, swirled ice cream in a cone.<br/><br/>Although the ice cream is good, I'd give negative points to this place for hygiene and cleanliness. They need to improve on it!

I've been visiting this place for several years now and it disappoints me to see this place dropping its standards.<br/><br/>This place can house about 30 people at once but the place has not been maintained well. The sofas are visibly damaged and need some reupholstering.<br/><br/>I had the chocolate volcano, chocolate extreme, chocolate fantasy, lichee sundae and the mix fruit sundae. The mix fruit sundae was the only one I enjoyed. The rest were mediocre.<br/><br/>I sincerely hope this place picks itself up.

Being a veggie I prefer Softy den to satisfy my hunger pangs, so I ordered a Veg cheese burger and I feel that rs 70 is little pricey for the Veg cheese burger sent to my home. Overall it's a decent one!

This pace has a range of pizzas , ice creams , sandwiches, milkshakes to offer on the menu with pocket friendly prices and with pretty decent tastes...there's not much to say about the ambience as it a small place ...it's open late nights , and so is good quick bites place...

We had ordered from Softy Den, but one of the zomato delivery boy called us and asked us to cancel the order as he went back to his home, that's really rude.<br/>Till now I did not receive my order and when I checked the order history it shows that it has already been delivered.<br/><br/>

Pizza crust was very soft. Burger was awesome and garlic bread was good enough but could be much better.

I have been going to softy den with my family for years and I am still in love with the softies. Every time I go, I eat a big 500ml bowl of ice cream. The taste of the softy is rich and the cake fantasies are the best. Having tasted all the flavours throughout the years I can say that none of them are bad, just some less good and some more. Being a chocolate lover, the chocolate ones are of course my favourite. The ambience is decent. The softies come in affordable prices and are worth the money. I recommend to try it at least once.

I have tried Panner paratha , Aloo paratha , Chocolate milkshake & butter Scotch milkshake . Panner Paratha and chocolate milkshake were too good . It's spacious too.

It is the best place for ice cream and milkshakes.I have took the combo of parata and milkshake.parata taste good and coming milkshake I choose butterscotch my all time favorite it was scrumptious.combo for those two was affordable.

This place brings a lot of childhood memories, good old school days. Been visiting this place since I was a kid circa 1994 till date. Located in the prime business locality and 4 prominent schools located around it makes it a popular place for school kids.<br/><br/>They are popular for their soft serve ice cream on a cone. I always opted for Vanilla and Strawberry. They also used to have have Rainbow flavour which used to be a blend of different flavours of soft serve.<br/><br/>As far as I know this place is the first to serve soft serve ice creams in Hyderabad. This place is very economical and pocket friendly. When I was in school we used to rush to this place right after school atleast twice a week. They have vide range of flavours and sundaes also. I will call this place a legend in Hyderabad when it comes to ice creams. Must visit for all who love soft serve ice creams.

My all time favourite place for grabbing an Icecream. Located near Rosary convent school is a lighted up cafe which is quite visible to the eye. This place is much more spacious as compared to the other one and equal crowd seen munchin.<br/><br/>As the name suggest its basically known for Softy Icecream which is usually served in a cone and thats how they got famous and tried new flavors too. My favourite is Chocolate Overload which I truely cant resist and keep ordering the same everytime I come. The others which I have tried untill how are equally delicious. <br/><br/>The only thing that can be improvised here is the Hygiene. Since the last couple of times I felt they should be more clean and service should be more fast too. Apart from that every other thing is perfect !

Whenever I visit this place it brings back my school memories. One of oldest and best ice cream places in Hyderabad. Nothing can be compared to their softy especially their mix ripple and mango ripple soft ice cream but they had reduced the flavour a bit recently.

This used to be "ice cream" place to visit all around 90s .their softies are a pioneer .I used to luv the thumsup softy .and the nut o crunch available here .damn I really wish there were more outlets for softies variety of ice creams

Softy den has been for a long time in hyderabad. So we went there to check it out. Ambience is not so cools .just some plastic chairs and tables.<br/>But it gives justice to the ice cream.<br/>We had the fruit punch, lychee and chocolate sundae. Lychee was spectacular.

Softy den, this name is connected to the childhood memories of students from schools in abids. They still continue to sell their signature Softy ripple Ice creams(5 stars just for it).. Apart from that they also have a variety of snacks to go with..

A lot of memories are attached to this place as i went to school around in this area.This used to be a little shop famous for pizzas and ice creams behind chermas.Now theybhave shifted to this new place which is bigger..We tried chocolate shake the other day but it sucked. The ice creams are watery too. This place was boiling hot. The chairs are broken and there are flies everywhere. They need to fix this.

I have been going to this ice cream place since my college days. I went again recently to have some ice cream. The interiors are nothing great just average but the place is spacious with lots of tables and chairs and long sofas. <br/>Coming to the menu, their main item is obviously ice creams. They serve different types of sundaes, softies, and ice creams.<br/>They also serve snacks like pizza.<br/>We ordered black currant delight sundae and butterscotch delight sundae. Both were vanilla sundaes with black currant sauce and butterscotch sauces on top. They were good. Prices are quite reasonable and its worth a try if you happen to be in the area.

10-12 yrs back when there were no cream stone , oh so stoned softy den was the place to go for ice crms. Even today the taste remains the same . ice crms here are creamy and yummy . they have a lot of varieties for ice crms , coke floats . thick shakes and snacks like pizza burger garlic bread sandwich.<br/>Its a complete happy meal package .<br/>But I usually stick with ice crms .<br/>Love fruit over load and mix fruit Sunday.<br/>Chocolate fantasy , and other chocolate flavors.<br/>Last tym tried the cheese garlic bread. Which had a lot of cheese and was crispy as well .loved it properly spiced up as well.<br/>

Located in the lanes of abids, near rosy convent school, softy den is a ice cream parlour which has made it name in the market. One of oldest parlour in hyderabad serving some thirst quenching drinks and amazing ice creams at a very affordable prices. They have a huuggee menu and you literally get confused Wat to pick. I've always tried their ice cream sundaes and this time too I preferred mix fruit sundae which coated me only 80 bucks. A pretty good place to take your family and kids for a happy meal. They also serve quick bite snacks. But I would stick to ice creams when its soft den.

This was the creamstone of the 2010 decade, ofcourse not the concept but with the same hype and ambiance. I had recently checked in and it's just a 2 minute walk from my school and lot other school crowd to add on. It's a great choice to have the best Ice cream if you're around Abids.

i was Born n brought up in Hyderabad and i spent my early childhood in koti.. so <br/>this place was a must visit for us since our school days...<br/>Back then when there was no Concept of Stone Ice Cream.. Softy Den was the only Ice Cream Parlour offering Rainbow Softy Ice Creams and other Special ice creams....<br/><br/>The food over here is also good you shud try French Toast Sandwich..one of my favorite... Pizzas are okay....i wouldnt suggest people to have vada pavs n all here... but for ice creams its really a good place...

Was a long day for me. Thought i would have something from Softy Den. Well i and my friends ordered for a VadaPav and Grilled VadaPav. Donno why this is very costly here. VadaPav cost me 40 INR and the same, grilled cost 60 bucks. Its really awesome, isn't it ?<br/>Just BULL-SHIT. Do you call that a burger. Well that word, B U R G E R, it has got some standards. Placing a wrecked veg cutlet doesn't allow me call it a patty. And bread, no, let me call it BUN. Worst ever experience in Hyderabad. <br/>Why Zomato isn't providing 0 rating ?<br/>Previously i had a bad experience here, having a pizza. I must have learned from that. This was worse.<br/>At the bottom line, though the ambiance is great, never in my life am going to visit this place ON MY OWN. Hell !!!

So me and the guys went down there had pizza. The pizza tastes like a pizza but was simply an apple fallen far away. Except for the extra cheese we couldn't find the promised paneer or anything else on top. Not satisfying at all.

I'm cmg here since my schooling, best thing is they prepare instant ice creams like cream stone. My favourite are coffee choc truffle and special tutty fruity. Best place for ice cream lovers :) ;)

Great place to go to in case you don't want to go to a parking lot service ice cream centre.flavours are good and so is the service. The only down side was the floor and table were sticky and not clean. May be because it was almost closing time and staff must have been tired. Nice change though.

This is olden golden place. It was pretty famous once upon a time, now eventually lost its charm due to other glam places available around the city. Every kid whoever stayed in the area of Abids or went to schools at these places, like Rosary etc. must have definitely eaten at this place at least once. Im sure it holds up a lot of memories for many people. The ice-cream is here is self-made/manufactured and is of fine quality. You get creamy and rich flavors. The other side dishes like pastas, chat are equally worthy. My favorite would be black current ice cream and Fruit punch :D. A casual visit in the evening times, a walk-by when passing through, it’s a great place to sit around.
