The place is good and the staff received and attended us well. There was a singer performing live and overall soothing environment. The quality's of food is ok and presentation is good. However it's not as exciting as I would frequent very often.

The ambience and taste of food is good . But the cost for it is a bit high . And all the flavors are exactly same as Portuguese that's a nice thing because lot of restaurants say we have Portuguese but it's taste like a local dish but here the taste was awesome .

Nice ambience, wonderful selection of marination and sauces with your grilled chicken. The black burger might seem tempting but tastes regular, but looks pure black! Nice grilled chicken. Service can be improved on took a lot of time to get a server come to us even though the restaurant was only about 20% full.

It was my first time when I went accidentally to Barcelos with my son to have some dinner. My son ordered barito and he was very happy to have that he was looking for long time. The taste of food here is awesome. I like the Malibu cocktails which I had after a decade and the taste was amazing the one I remembered so I do love this place.

The ambience is the biggest plus. Sangria was lovely and the food was also great. Ordered fish burger and ceaser salad. Highly recommended.

happening place with good offers at happy hours.. music is not that loud so can't really dance. a family bar & restaurant. cortious staff. tasty French fries with mayo was best combination with the chilled beer with icecool beer mug. really felt happy after been at this place. serving good variety of cocktails n mocktails. amazing experience here with good atmosphere

This place is new, the food is good. I am really happy about the quantity they serve. Compared to rest of the place which charge about the same price the amount of food that we’ve got here was immensely satisfying. I’ve had a Black bun burger while my mum had a Portuguese rice bowl, she mentioned it could’ve been made better. The chicken was really good though. I’m definitely sure I’d go back to this place again. The best of my day was that my waiter seemed to have a genuine interest in serving me the food, rather compared to other places where they just take the order and throw the food on our face.

Food is fantastic I can still feel that smokey flavour damn that food was amazing my bad I couldn't finish the burger at the end it was too much for me Hehe

The place is nice. It has a homely vibe to it where you can relax and have a beer with friends and family alike. Food is good and staff was cooperative when I visited there. A great place to chill after you come out of a movie or before going to one. Worth a visit.

It may have taken a while for me to find a best place for my craving taste buds and without sacrificing on the healthy diet part...... Firstly the ambience takes you to a vintage Portuguese architecture ..... The place is cozy and a perfect hangout with friends. We have munched on the black burger and the signature Peri Peri chicken along with different set of spicy sauces. Tangy lemon was my favorite. Hanging chicken espedata was good. The wedge potatoes are simply amazing. Overall I feel it's value for 💰...:-)

Nice experience. Food was good. We ordered peri peri chicken liver, espetadas, Alfredo and virgin mojito. It was reasonable and tasty as well.

Firstly, the service is just too bad. Not upto the mark. Had been waiting for this restaurant to open. The tables are too small to put our legs inside. The waiter is not aware of the food that they are selling. Pasta was mild hot, the bread on the top was cold. So i asked the waiter if this is how it normally comes out, then he took it back reheated it and bought back (chances of food poisoning). My wife she did not finish it, it was flavour less. The waiter does not even know if they have the seasonings on the side(chilli flakes and oregano). Quarter chicken : the side wedges were so cold, i asked the waiter to hold it. He simply went inside and bought me a portion of french fries which were cold again. I asked the supervisor and he said thats hot and went away. Dint even come back. I had to eat the cold food as i was starving. Appetizer which was ordered was completely forgotten, they wanted to bring it at the end, i told them not to worry. The chicken was very dry, seems like it was cooked long back and then reheated at the time pf order. The spicy rice bowl was the only food that was good. The supervisor didnt even apologize and was trying to give me a 10% discount, which i refused. Never going to visit again.

Never visit this restaurant. They have copied Nandos, but they have fallen flat. The food served is cold. Spicy rice is too salty. They don't even know how to serve food properly. And above all they also dare to charge you a service fee of 10%, and only when I asked them why this charge and reminded them that the Government had banned service fee, and if not removed, I will be compelled to complain, they have removed the service charge. The only USP is the waiter will repeat to you the entire order without writing it on a KOT. If at all this impresses anybody, they can go for it.

Pathetic service , had raw uncooked chicken on plate :( crew has no attention for customers, washrooms are locked as if they keep gold in it. Also simple mint / toothpicks are not available ... pathetic

Definitely a good place for foodie lovers. The service was good as we haven't waited for a long time, and the order was delivered in time as mentioned by the waiter. Grilled Fish Sizzler and Cheesy Chicken Espetada are too delicious.

We went for team party in Barcelos. First thing is the price is really expensive. Food is very spicy and everyone of us were drinking so much water throughout. The quantity is so less for the price we pay. Only thing that we liked is the ambience. If you want to spend some quality time without bothering about food then you may prefer this restuarent

Visited the place after seeing the good reviews on Zomato.<br/>Unfortunately, the first put off was not availability of draught beer.<br/>Subsequently, was served flat beer though it was changed on request.<br/>The crockery was of poor standard with plates chipped.<br/>Music was very loud.<br/>However, the good quality of food and the generous portions made up somewhat for the blemishes.

So I was in Forum Mall few weeks back and was thinking of going to some restaurant for a little drink and some food. Then I came across Barcelos.<br/><br/>First of all I was completely blown away by that Vintage Decor. It was amazing to say the least. So we entered and ordered Spaghetti in Alfredo Sauce and Chicken and along with it we also ordered some Camino Silver and Black Dog. First of all the food was amazing. In general I don't like Spaghetti's much but here it was amazing. Then the courteous staffs who were all smiles and helpful and helped us choosing the correct item.<br/><br/>This was my first visit here and definitely not the last for sure.

The ambience is superb as soon as you enter the restaurant. Seating is bit cramped along both the side walls.<br/><br/>Coming to food we have had good experience when my wife and me had a date there. We had good food with traditional Portugese Sangria and few cosmopolitans.<br/><br/>Price per portion is bit high, so to speak.<br/><br/>Courteous staff. Good food. Good music. Been here many times and as usually the ambience, food and the live crowd really is amazing. Nice courteous staff and amazing taste. They have upgraded the menu. Ambiance is good. Picturizes barcelona village in its theme. But food is not upto the mark. Took longer time for the food to get served

Yes presentation is good but in name of Mexican stuff most of ingredients are those more in dish which are cheap in India whereas prices are too much high.Like black beans portion is too small with fajitas. Even guacamole portion too small, instead of sour cream it’s mayonnaise. Tortilla are hard to chew.parmesan chicken instead of bake they fried it. You are not authentic what is charged for it.

The food quality has detoriated and doesn’t taste the way it use to. Chicken was undercooked and so was the rice that was served on the sides. Service is nothing great, you need to call the servers multiple times in an empty restaurant.

I love burgers here, especially southern fried chicken burger with black bun. This time i tried veg quesadilla and grilled chicken starters with beers. Food was all good. Service provided by our waiter Bhargav was excellent. I'll visit again.

Atmosphere was great ,I didn’t felt that the resto is in mall ull feel an individual resto even it is in mall .anyone can hangout here peacefully.

Recently I visited the Barcelos at Forum with my friends. Amazing place to enjoy your drinks....Loved the food, snacks and drinks here. We were very satisfied with the whole experience, and feel really great to see the hospitality of Mr. Vikash. His wonderful service has really impressed us and I must say that we would visit again soon. It's fantastic place with great ambience. Highly recommended.

Had visited this place at Forum Mall and a friend had suggested to try this out as it's different than the TGIF was ... Surprisingly the place had a good ambience and the serve lemon water which is great than normal water . We ordered prawns , Mexican rice bowl and chicken Verde Pizza ... Located in Forum mall in PVR floor ,this place surprisingly has lovely ambience..you will feel like you are in different country. Perfect place to sit back and relax .The taste and quality of food is very good.They serve large bottle of beers too ..I recommend this place..

I went to this place with my best friends. The restaurant’s ambience was good. The staff was courteous and the food was good too. We have ordered many items and all of them were tasty and good! A must visit if you are in Sujana mall.

Food was very dry and not upto the mark. Gravies had Indian curry taste instead of Continental. Pizza was bone dry. Grilled chicken in wine tasted like local chilli chicken in red sauce. Very dissapointed.

I have been to this place yesterday with a couple of friends during happy hours time. They were playing Telugu item songs when we entered lol. But once we asked them to change, the music was changed.Didnt expect that. We ordered beers and fries as soon as went. Beers were decently priced during happy hours but the fries were undercooked. We ordered a chicken platter, White pasta and chicken Sizzler. Food seemed good.But their service is very late. Though the place was not so crowded they got our beers atleast 20min after asking them. Overall it was alright.

This place is so awesome that it has become our adda. Close by and very clean. Food is very tasty and drinks are awesome. Captain Shiva is one of the best people here as he takes care of every order and always is cheerful. Thank u rasassa

Nice place with interesting decor, one serving is ample for two average eaters. The taste of the food was also pretty satisfying and we liked the onion rings a lot. However nothing that we ordered was out of this world, overall a recommended place to try out and possibly we might come back.

This place has a great ambience and service. On a Sunday night we were quickly seated and served with hot food and cold drinks. The food is a little expensive on the pocket, could do with a little more seasoning. The red velvet cake was the best. Wouldn’t mind revisiting

Okay, 3.8 is too generous for this place because I'm going to list the reasons why you should go to this place :<br/>1) We order Hawaiian Chicken Pizza and Lasagne De Carnivale, they said that the dishes were not available because there was "no cheese."<br/>For a high range supposedly Italian restaurant they said they had no cheese.<br/>Like common man, Spar is just downstairs.<br/>2) The Arrabiata and Red Wine Pasta :<br/>a) Was there any sauce? No.<br/>b) Over cooked pasta? Absolutely became a mush<br/>3) The Portuguese Chicken and Rice : The chicken was below average, the rice was just coloured in yellow and undercooked (it was just like the rice grains).<br/>4) The Orange Glaze chicken : Felt like the fried chicken wing was dipped in marmalade.<br/>5) The French Fries : That was the only thing that was better than all the food we ordered.<br/>6) Oh and we found a cockroach near the table(explains the sanitation).<br/>7) Let me talk about the price, all the dishes we brought were nothing worth the prices they were put. It was really expensive for something that tasted like nothing edible.

This is a place that's quite full of itself. They have a deceptive menu that draws you in with combos but most of the items you'd want aren't eligible for the combo offer. Any item that looks even remotely interesting, cost in excess of ₹500 each. The waiters have no sense of who needs to be attended to. You always have to call them. The portions are miniscule. A few appetizers tasted good but the mains we ordered were disappointing to say the least. You can safely avoid this heap of pricey garbage.

While getting into forum mall, you will notice the beautiful posters of restaurant with photos of black bun burger.<br/><br/>We ordered grilled chicken burger. Server said they were out of burgers. He suggested to go for burger platter that gives us four small burgers.<br/><br/>We also ordered grilled veggies on the side. The grilled veggies came. They looked like stir fried veggies dripping oil. There was only onion and capsicum. I imagined they would bring grilled broccoli, carrots etc<br/><br/>Next they got four burgers. There was fries on the side. The burgers were okay. The fries were good. The burgers had very small pieces of grilled chicken which was not a good thing.. For the price of burgers, you would expect more meat..<br/><br/>I asked them about peas salad that came along. I was wondering why it was 80% mayo with hardly any peas in it. There were no veggies in it except peas and corn<br/><br/>We ordered Caesar salad, and it was disappointing too. The dressing was watery. The greens were not crispy at all. The croutons are big from burger bun.<br/><br/>This was overall experience.

Sometimes the ambience and vibe of a place are so vibrant and energetic, even if the food is not really that great you still end up liking the place! I loved the energetic atmosphere here! Anybody of any age can come to this place. You have tables and chairs in the middle and on the sides you have large sofas and tables. You have a bar at the far end in the middle. Lively music is always playing in the background. The staff might be on their toes but they are quite attentive and quick! Coming to the menu, they have a combination of Mexican, Italian, portuguese, American food. In beverages, apart from cocktails and alcoholic beverages, they have milkshakes, juices, and mocktails. Coming to the menu, I wanted to eat something light and could not decide, so the staff suggested I take a veg platter. In that I got 3 starters which included southwestern rolls, empanadas and cheese balls. The southwestern rolls had beans, corn, veggies and cheese and were good. The cheese balls were good but a little spicy. The empanadas were stuffed with peas, cabbage, and some other stuff, they did not taste good. Prices are a little high. One drawback is they do not have desserts. Service is good.

Being a huge Mexican cuisine fan, the dishes need authentic Mexican touch which they lack. Service is very very slow. I stepped in for first time when they opened and took me 3 hours to finish. Most time was spent in waiting for order.

Thought of experimenting this new place since the menu description resembled Nandos. Can't say it is really great but it is not bad either. The marinade is quite subtle and lemony which I enjoy a lot. Tried the grilled chicken with fries and soup.<br/><br/>Serving speed was quick and the waiter helped with picking the right item from the menu.

This place was rated 4 and that's why I planned to spend my Saturday afternoon here after a tiring week. While the ambience is good and cozy. The food is equally bad. The bun in the black bun burger was crumbling like a cookie. The Farm fresh Pizza was as sad as it looks. The Pasta was okay but still lacked taste and flavour. Not going here again. Giving two only because of the service, staff and ambience.

This is a fancy place to have some Italian food. So I had ordered the black burger bun which is supposed to be healthy but I felt it was not fresh. The burger bun was falling apart. :( It lost its essence. Then Farmfresh Pizza, it was as sad as it looks in the picture. There was no taste at all. I had to leave half of the pizza. Spaghetti was okay. That is the only thing I liked so rating 2. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this place.

So guys when zomato says “top dishes people order” they don’t tell you whether people like them or not. People order them bcz they sound interesting like ‘Peri peri grilled chicken wings’ which sounds better than ‘grilled chicken wings’ but are they really good??? No they are not 🙄 They are actually half cooked or 10% grilled chicken with color of skinless chicken. What do you do if you don’t like grilled chicken ??? Ask the waiter. He will recommend ‘Crispy chicken wings’ confidently assuming you don’t have a taste for grilled chicken. Crispy chicken wings tasted like ‘Special rubbery chicken wings’.<br/>

We visited this restaurant to try out the burgers. Sadly, it dint meet our expectations and we were quite disappointed with the service, food and quality. Everything tasted like frozen food. <br/><br/>This was our second visit to the restaurant in 2.5 years and not much has changed since then.

Some dishes were great but some were just bland. The brownie shake was really tasty and the best part of our meal. Some burgers were good but some were boring and the cheese and chicken espetedas definitely lacked some seasoning and just wasn't flavorful enough. The food overall was overpriced in my opinion,and though the portion size was good the flavour delivered by the dish was not much.

Quite overpriced for the quantity i feel, decent in taste and drinks can be improved virgin mojito didn't taste like one . We ordered peri peri pizza,prawns for appetizers, spicy wings , fries , stir fry rice bowl , virgin mary , lime sodas,juices, Budweiser and at the last some good chocolate icecream We were five and the bill came upto 3000.

Extremely poor service. The food is fine, but they should employ more staff. Serving staff is quite less. We had to wait for an hour before our food was served.

Will start with positive note though have not given satisfactory stars. The food was very tasty. good quantity, worth the pay. #barcelos Nice food, though a little on the higher price side but we had a good time with a beer bucket and of course cricket. Garlic bread is worth giving a shot.

Visited this after seeing this place multiple times in Forum Mall. The place has good ambience and great service (we went for lunch). Food is at best average! We tried their recommended Chicken Liver, Soft shell chicken tacos and grilled chicken. Chicken was not as hot, maybe they don’t grill after order. Rice tasted and looked stale. Fries were average. Good place to sit down if you’re tired of shopping but don’t expect much from food.

I am writing this review while having my lunch at this place. I ordered peri chicken chunks as it was recommended. It came with just 4 thigh chunks and very small is size, which is quite less for a dish valued Rs. 365. I gave a thought that it might have a taste worth of the value. But it came out that chicken pieces were a bit stale and I had to chew a lot. Flavor was definitely unique and worth a try but you can't actually compliment the dish much as the main thing of the dish "The chicken" was not fresh.

The gravy, chicken and rice went well.<br/>The price on the menu is little towards the costly end. The ambiece is very good with vibrant interiors and decor<br/><br/>Food -3.5/5<br/>The menu is a copy of Nandos where you get some good chicken with flavoured rice. The chicken here is decent enough but not as good as Nandos. The pasta was ok<br/><br/>Service - 3.5/5<br/>The staff is good but dont know the menu well which delays your order. But staff is friendly and cordial.

If anyone visit the place then don't look into the menu directly because the food and drinks which you see in the menu will not be available over there so, better ask the waiter over there and come to a conclusion....but the ambiance is bit okay

I would like to give 3.5 overall. I was very fascinated about the burger platter. So my order list contained cheese poppers, burger platter of 4 different colour burgers, virgin mohito and cheesecake with ice-cream. Cheese poppers were awesome, proper crispy texture and oozing out melted cheese with proper salt balance. Coming to the burger platter, the buns were quite dry. It contained only single leafet of lettuce, one tomato slice and tikki. We ordered veg tikki. Tikkis were good, the buns were quite rough and dry. They should apply mayonnaise in all buns and should keep cheese slices to alike other burger brands. Virgin mohito which was served, loaded with sourness. We asked them to fix it, and promptly they fixed it with proper balance of sweetness and sourness. Now coming to the cheese cake, seriously I have never eaten this type of cheese cake till yet. There was no taste like cheesecake. It was gluey, lacking of fluffiness. Looked like they didn't use cream cheese. It was only half inch thin. I would recommend not to have cheese cake here.<br/>I would like to talk about food presentation too which was not upto the mark. It should be on proper sized plate, with proper garnishing and all. Otherwise the service was good, staff was friendly and nice.<br/><br/>Food - 3 out of 5 (poor presentation)<br/><br/>Ambience - 4 out of 5<br/><br/>Service - 5 out of 5

The worst experience I have ever had .this is my first time to Hyderabad and this was the first restaurant.they gave me chipped glasses .service was terrible.food was atrocious .I do not know why i came here on a Saturday.

Ambeince was super good , food taste was not dissapointed , will try some things else next time , menu also look different to other restaurants

Good place for quite evening with friends. No rush kind of place and the staff services is great. Could improve on drink variety or atleast have all the drinks that are mentioned in the menu.

Located in Forum Mall Hyderabad, fast smiling seating, Efficient and quick service (4/5). Long island ice tea (4/5) one of the good ones i have had. Spicy chicken wings (4/5) and Pasta (3/5) could have been a bit better with cheese. It was a Sunday lunch visit, but totally worth the effort, look forward to visiting once again.

I liked the ambience & food quality. Improvements suggested in service and cocktails. Value for money as long as zomato gold is working here.

The place is pretty decent. Ambience is okay as well. The staff was surprisingly polite and humble. This place is not bad at all.<br/><br/>So why would I rate them 3* and not 4+? The only reason is finesse. Any place unknown I prefer to be safe and not experiment with the taste. We ordered a sizzler and grilled chicken, both in periperi sauce. Now, only a fool can go wrong in periperi sauce. The sauce they made tasted much Indian than Portuguese ( maybe they used vinegar rather than lemon juice) but it wasn't bad. The rice was good, sauteed vegetables were good as well. What went wrong is the quality of chicken. I found it to be very dry and overcooked. ( Chef- try soaking the chicken in sugar salt water for a few hours to retain the humidity in the meat). Also the sauce wasn't well marinated with the chicken. So the overall taste was ordinary and forgettable. The mocktails ordered were decent though. Liked the various Portuguese cocktails.<br/><br/>But 3* is not a bad rating. Only if the cooking staff can take some efforts to work with new techniques to cook and use some gadgets like thermometers and steamers, it will help them get good results.<br/><br/>If you want to find out how Portuguese food would be, do try this place but don't expect to get blown away. Again, this isn't a 4* place as the taste isn't the best. But 3* is not bad as well.

Ambience is good. Service is ok. Staff was courteous but they were not well trained. I can say this because they had no idea about the cousine on the menu card.

An awesome place for ppl who are in search for quiet time, happy hours was a plus which came unexpectedly after our visit, if you have a taste bud to try different food you'll love this place. Ambience and service was great.

I really disappointed with the services. I ordered one Agilo Pasta, wherein we specifically mentioned with less cheese and less spicy. But instead of same he brought in lots of chillis in it. We asked them to changed, but again it was same. We told the waiter we asked not to add chillies flakes, but he argued that it done the same way. Not very happy.

Not worth the money or time. Their only saving grace is the sangria selection and maybe the chicken livers too. Flame grilled chicken was not juicy at all and the flavour profile was just flat. The sides were mega disappointing- Mac n cheese was a cold macaroni salad, the rice was dry and tasted mostly of turmeric and the garlic bread had barely any semblance of garlic. I will not discuss the sad excuse for gravy they serve with the rice. They could do a lot better with small improvements. Hire a food consultant guys, it will help you a lot.

I like the Ambience. Servers are polite and do understand your request and requirements. They do modify food taste per your preference (works for me all the time), do try if you have preference. Love chicken wings here. Drinks are great too - Mocktail!!
