Interesting place.. love the Salsa ladies nights - Wednesday!... awesome Latin and Cuban music. The food is delish... haven't tried any signature drinks though.. yet

Week days it is very dull Or pleasent place but the Weekends this is the best Place to bläst the party

Quite a dingy place if you ask me. It's like the same old same old pub. Nothing special. The music is not that good. The DJ was playing some Bollywood stuff and commercial music. The name sounds fancy. One would expect a classy crowd there. Alas, none of your expectations will be fulfilled. Very normal crowd who will enjoy commercial music. Liquor is cheaper than other places. I won't want to visit there again unless we go in a group that to sponsored. I am not paying money to go there.

the rating 4 is for the one and only dj who played bollywood remix on ladies night ie on Sunday after 10.30 pm . till ten thirty pm it is like desert no crowd nothing. i placed order of beer along with corn chilly . corn are not crispy. enjoyed a lot bollywood remix foot tapping music along with new friends of hyderabad as i am from bangalore i don't know there name.

I went it on same building in GVK mall near Hard Rock Cafe ambiance to bit deem but it's was looking beautiful we ordered for few cocktails and shot we enjoyed we had fun with my friends.

It's a nice and spacious pub on top of GVK one mall , it's really nice with ample seating . Went in the evening and there was happy hours and one plus one on drinks . The staff was friendly and nice . The ambience nice . Didn't get to try any food . Would definitely recommend this place ambience 8/10 service 8/10

A good place for people who like deserted environments. Not great music. The ambiance and dance floor could be improved. Many more happening places in Hyd when compared.

Been on sunday night for some relaxation and definately it was worth wrt seating (very comfortable), music (more of hip hop - but ground wasnt able to take bass). Ordered Gobi Manchurian, it was yum and quantity was sufficient enough but should have been hot for total points. Cranberry Juice was from REAL (thumbs up). Will definately visit for relaxation and would try dance floor!

Been here many times with my brother, had golden glow , a moctail made with orange and apple juice, garlic nd pepper fish, and we ordered alcohol nd some coctails, food was not that good , little expensive with respect to the quantity, anthony was the name of the person who served us , he was courteous,overall nice place to visit for parties @

Ridiculously expensive drinks and most of the time they won't even have all the drinks listed. Food is equally ridiculous except for the starters which were kind of okay'ish but monotonous with hardly any varieties.

Never go with a friend who is under 21. Personal experience. Been unceremoniously kicked out even after being the legal age just because I went with a friend who wasn't. Ruined my night. Plus didn't have the beer I wanted.

Disappointed is the word. Brought my team of 17 people. Had to take everyone back as the management didn't allow two girls from my team to enter as they were not carry any Id card. I being a hotelier understand the whole policy but at least sometimes we do make exceptions. The kind of crowd which was entering were only to dance and there were stag who were just gazing at girls. Me and my team wanted pay for food and beverage and enjoy our time not those who were just entering inside to check out girls or dance and leave the place. The manager failed to understand the importance. Did a mistake in choosing this place. Totally spoilt the whole evening. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place.

To start with Cuba Libre.....the entry was 1500 and 1000 can be redeemed ....once you enter inside its like gangsta club.... music is really old and the staff is least bothered about you and your orders....they are only bothered about billing ...ordered a crispy chilli potato for which they took half an hour even when they were no people in the club....asked for a kingfisher draught, the bartender gave us a glass of kf premium...the bartender was trying to show some skills but dropped the bottle twice....my experience here was very bad ....we got the order, gulped the average food and left .....

Loved the ambiance over here, its spacious and so good to relax and unwind yourself on weekend. Perfect for group gathering and IPL screenings. The food is good as mostly they get it from Khan Saab and they have 1+1 offer from afternoon to 8.30 p.m which is awesome.

Pathetic Club... No value for money, Providing liquor in Disposable glasses... The bartenders are also casual... poor service... cannot recommend to anyone... even the managers are not responsible, give a complaint he says i am the first one to say so... the reviews here support me.. the water they provide is of poor quality, the food is blunt and tasteless..  all in all waste of money... there was no feedback forms also available with the manager... its like they do not wish to improve... don't know how GVKone took them in... The Dj was like hell... was playing Bollywood... asked him any English collection he said no.., and when at the time of leaving he started playing them... felt so angry and disappointed... the lighting's is so poor... its darker.... entirely felt frustrated and angry.. where as i came for chilling out..

Went there on a Saturday night. Pathetic service. In spite of being at the club pretty early. The bartender said they ran out of glass for beer and came with small disposable mugs. This was at 9:30 and when tables were still available. Had to remind the guys atleast 4 times until we got our liquor. 😣

No crowd on ladies night. Need I say more. We went 4 couples and 1 stag. Ladies night starts at 2030 and till 2230.we reached at 2030 and nobody was there. We left at around 2330 and by that time there were only 20 people max. <br/>Pros: good ample place, pool table, dance floor. Good music but only after 2130(at least that day). Increasing a star just for the ample amount of space Fir dance.<br/><br/>Cons: no crowd, they were hardly pouring alcohol in the free drinks. We had to go to the bar counter and make sure they were pouring enough alcohol. Not so good food for the cost and the alcohol prices are also on the higher side compared to other similar places.<br/><br/>They said they are gonna renovate and reopen after 20days. But never gonna go again.

Been here on a Friday night and a Saturday afternoon, place is very much deserted , no crowd. Ambience gives you a feel of Cuba, Che Guevara :D there are many other places which are more happening than this.

Once a great place to chill out with friends has now become a place that can be completely avoided. Bad service and questionable practices, there a lot if better places than this. I would recommend look over this place! EVERYTIME!

I was dissapointed with this place as Pune's Cuba Libre resonates the spirit of young dining. I visited this place on a Friday night and the dancefloor was empty. There was hardly anyone except a few couples. Though the music was good i did not find the place whimsical. We ordered for ginger ale lemonade and chicken fried wantons. The wantons were yum.

I have visited many clubs in HYD . But when I entered this place no one is there Entire club was Empty on Saturday . <br/>the Place looks like the management is not even bothered as the Sofa and all were torn they are using Red cushion on it just to cover up. Trust me I am the fan of pune's Cuba Libre so I made a visit to this place. But when I entered this place no one is there except 2-3 African guests. <br/><br/>Dance floor is complete dark. The place is quite good , Has a small dance floor with a Dj wasn't that much great in music selection . Food was okayish , Hookah was terrible and I guess there's in need of lot of improvements and update themselves from other compitetors.

Good place with nice Music... Happens to visit the place 2 weeks back, As we had 1 n half hour more for movie in GVK it self. We decided to grab couple of drinks before that. Worst service ever! They only want u to order what they have... And what they have is just 10% of the menu which is overpriced! They don't serve the drinks chilled, the food is not cooked properly and the stewards just don't care for the customers! There is no life in the club anyway! Never will visit this pub!

A good Cuban pub depicting typical laid back chilled out place, they also have a pool table for snooker lover's. Had some booze and Mexican food , pricing was normal overall good place to kill couple of hours

A sudden holiday in a week and we thought this would be a nice place to try. The service and music is excellent I must tell you. Its spacious and a nice place to hang out or dance with companions. But then why 3.5 only?! I somehow didn't like the food quality and the lighting. Its a bit shoddy. Nevertheless one can go and enjoy. Its a reasonable place price wise..happy hours is an additional boon. So if u can neglect the non-likings, its a fantastic place to hang out.

So I was here on a Monday afternoon and the place was stranded with no one. Literally no one. So never go on weekdays in the afternoon time. I guess it gets crowded during the weekends and evenings. The happy hours is pretty normal - a lil pricy though. Well you can try the litchi mojito, cosmopolitan and that's it. Rest all are quite routine. For starters I liked only the chili chicken as the chicken served was very soft, ordered lollipop as well but the taste was just average. Above all the service was really poor as the waiter doesn't respond, the food takes really long to be served(20 min for one starter!) The ambience is okay okay. So after a visit you wouldn't like to go there again.

Been here one afternoon for lunch. The place doesnt please at first sight. The service is poor and the ambience is just about okay. The food was good but when it is served late, the entire experience is overshadowed by the inefficient workers. I would reccomend it for the food but make sure you get after them to serve you.

Its one of the best pub's I've ever seen. And the dance floor rocks and the billards table attracts people to check in and beat fornits finger food and but service laggs.!!!!!

It's not a pub,just a simple bar. Such a bore,wasted my weekend visiting this place.The music is not at all engaging and the service is lazy.

In the first place, its not a pub , its a lounge. Do not be mislead with the noun Cuba Libre , there is nothing swanky about this place except two billiard tables.  Being a tourist its my second time in Cuba. The first time was in Feb,2014 and what I noticed then was the awesome crowd which was jam packed in a minimal spaced dance floor.Music was If not good ,average then. And this year i was there on 24th Jan,music played was just noise and the dance floor was empty even at 11 pm,WOW!  Thinking that somebody need to kick start the dance floor , did shake more than a leg, but nothing happened except for a few onlookers. Had a quick drink and left the place for good. Well It was  a disappointment. Thank God Hyderabad has other better Pubs.

Cuba Libre as lucrative the name looks on the contrary is the place in existent. Its basically a pub with the most horrible music and they expect you to shake a leg on those crazy beats, Get a life cuba. The bouncers at this place are so frustrated and frozen that all they do is just stop people, if you have to stop people who are not even doing any kind of anti social activities then whats the point of even visiting such kind of place. I visited this place twice and both the times had the same kind of experience. The only USP is the drinks are relatively cheaper than many other pubs around. <br/>If you have not visited this place you have not missed any thing much much much better places are there in the wonderful city of HYDERABAD to visit, hang out and have a ball.

This place offers you the "pocket friendly" drinks if you visit this pub during the happy hours. we got 1+1 pitcher for just 600 bucks. So if you love to drink this place is a must visit. The food is also not very bad. But make sure you visit this place only after giving a call to the pub and asking them if the. pitcher is available. Otherwise it's gonna cost you a lil too much. <br/>Have fun :)

Cube Libre might sound like a very exotic name for a Pub which is located in the heart of Banjara hills on the top floor of the famed GVK mall. For the uninitiated, apart from the Spanish name it has that resonates the slogan for ‘Free Cuba’, it is also the name of a very popular and heady cocktail made with a mix of cola, dark rum and lemon. Well, the interesting background information on the creative naming ends right there and the place does not actually live up to the expectations one would have when one drops by.<br/><br/>Interestingly, our company held its last annual day celebration (a free for all affair on binge drinking and gouging on food) at this very venue and even before the actual event, I had my serious doubts about this place. I mean, why would an exotic sounding Pub, nestled right in an upmarket mall, decide to play host to a company of two hundred over-worked software geeks. A clear indication the place is bleeding and wanting desperate business.<br/><br/>As it turns out, on that fateful evening, my experience at Cube Libre was very disappointing. On first impression, they have a great location, the interior décor is fairly well done and the large oval shaped well stocked Bar in the centre of the Pub is well thought of and easily accessible to everybody. Unfortunately, the over enthusiastic Bar Men desperately tried indulging in some Pyrotechnics that failed to impress many of us disgruntled guests. But all these plus points have not helped this place in gaining any popularity.<br/><br/>I guess it all boils down to reckless or ignorant management who lack ideas to leverage on their strengths. For starters, the food and drinks are priced exorbitantly, they have a good audio system but the DJ is very juvenile and prides himself on playing the latest greatest rap and hip hop music and may be a big fan of Pitbull and Bollywood. I wonder what the Salsa night is all about though. The Pub even boasts of a private lounge that serves expensive Cigars (a la Cohiba) for the indulgent guest.<br/><br/>Overall, if you haven’t been to this Pub yet, you haven’t missed much.

There is nothing Cuban about the place. This your normal pub with a fancy sounding name. The food here is very normal and nothing special. The good thing about the place is the crowd and the amount of space the place has and the games you can play . This place works for a normal hangout. If there is exquisite Cuban stuff that you are looking at then avoid it.

A week back had the misfortune of visiting the place with a few of my friends.....initial impression was that i had entered some local drinking joint....overwhelming smell of stale air was hanging around the place...i have seen better places that allow smoking and still has better ventilation.....dull lighting added to the stale atmosphere.......No music going on.....the first seat we tried to sit, someone had used the corner to very conveniently empty his gut ......should have walked out right then.....we decided to stay and give one more chance....the waiter who came to serve us was irritated since we had disturbed him from his game of pool.....ordered beer n starter.....got both...starter came without any dip or even ketchup.....request for some ketchup was awarded with an angry grunt.....nothing exceptional about the food....finished the beer n got the hell out of the place.......bad decision considering we had ditched Hard Rock Cafe on the ground floor for this place......better atmosphere...better food...n way better service....n for those who have not been to this place hard rock will save u the effort of trying to find ur way through various floors and elevators.......Never goin back to this place ever again.......!!!!!!

Its a Great place If you are a good Salsa dancer.Its as upfront I can be. The Latino themed songs with people grooving around in Salsa steps is an USP of this place. The food I felt to be overpriced considering the taste factor. But overall its a good place for weekend nights...and Incase you want to suprise your partner , then learn Salsa before coming out here

Been to cuba libre a month back, A good cuban pub depicting typical laid back chilled out place.Good to go for a talk with pals over drinks with not much of noise.They also have pool table for the lovers and the place smells of tobacco got infused into the place for a long time.They do happy hours form 12.30 pm to 8 pm and is worth goin.Pricing is not too expensive but a lil more compared to the rest.Dint have much of food to comment on it but tried their crispy corn and fried cheese and was not disappointed.

Hyderabad is known for small dance floors and if you love to dance , that's a total dampener . That's why CUBA LIBRE is a welcome change in Hyderabad. Big dance floor and some awesome music . Starters are really good with some innovative cocktails . If you love Salsa, visit on a Thursday and you wont be disappointed !

Last week, I had a couple of hours to kill and decided to check out this club. It was conveniently located en route to a client's office, and I stopped off for a beer. It was around 6 pm when I got there, and it was quite empty at that point. It's difficult to find if you're going there for the first time, since you have to navigate two elevators which go up just one floor each, and even then there aren't too many people to guide you. I'd have given up if there wasn't someone else heading there as well who offered to show me the way. <br/>There are a couple of pool tables set up and I suppose there's a steady crowd it caters to. The beer was good enough, and the complimentary popcorn was welcome. There was, however, an overhanging smell of stale smoke - which happens when the air conditioning and circulation isn't good enough. Being a smoker myself, I didn't mind it too much, but it would definitely bother those who don't smoke. <br/>Seeing the mostly-male crowd it seems to draw, I'm not sure I'd recommend it for a date. But I could be wrong since I wasn't there later in the evening when the club would be in full-swing. I'll still give it another visit (hopefully later in the evening) when I have the time.

When a pub is typically themed to be English, Irish and and in this case, Cuban, it adds a special charm for non frequent visitors. Ofcourse there is no huge deviation from the standard apart from a few cocktails and an overpriced stock of native liquor from the themed country, the charm also leads to cost saving since the furniture can be lesser expensive that the modern affair.<br/><br/>Cuba Libre is a typical of that breed of clubs that makes great use of this concept. There is no such variety of special Cuban Cocktails that justify the name. The food here is nothing thematic but the general Indian foray without any specialties of in fact any cuisine.<br/><br/>But to be fair, I liked their unlimited package of 1300 AI in which you get unlimited starters, a small buffet and unlimited IMFL(including two types of cocktails). Cuba Libre(the cocktail) was an average affair and didn't meet up the expectations it is obviouslu supposed to. But Long Island(the other one) was just amazing.<br/><br/>For starters we had Chicken tikka and Chilli Chicken in non veg and the taste was good(standard and consistent), the only turnoff being a few bones in many of the pieces that looked boneless. For vegetarians we had Cheese balls which were surprisingly good, Veg Munchurian which was again really tasty and Spring rolls that were a let down due to lack of tang in the filling and a thick crust. The serving frequency was a question mark since they were taking a lot of time in between the rounds of serving, which made us call them multiple times but to no avail.<br/><br/>For the main course, there was a small but unexpectedly tasty buffet with Dal Tadka- That stole the show (especially in a pub) and Paneer Makhni- Brilliant soft pieces of paneer in a buttery tomato gravy that went a little sweet but still not that one can complain. It went very well with the Veg Biriyani. In the non veg section, ideally I would have liked a Mutton Biriyani because there was already a superb Kadhai Chicken in the menu (even thought it was tasty, it wasn't really authentic hence another name would have justified the dish more). The Chicken pieces in the Biriyani was terribly undercooked and spoiled the overall feel. I never found any dessert even after asking for it.<br/><br/>Overall its an average place that becomes very good if you know how to get the worth out of the money you think you should spend here. It There is nothing special, cuban or exotic about it. It is typically Indian but works if you don;t have very high expectations. Recommended!!

Cuba Libra is surely one of the weekends clubbing places in Hyderabad. The first good thing about this place is that it is located in GVK mall, Banjara Hills which is pretty near to major places in the city. <br/>I have heard so much about this place, especially about Salsa socials they conduct on weekends. So, my friends and I went there on last Sunday to hang out and have couple of drinks. <br/>The ambience is good, very much like a 3 star pub. There is bar counter in the center of club which appear to be major attraction, that set up reminded me the 10D, there is a decent dance floor with good space, good enough for 20 couples to feet on... and there are handful of Tables and separate Que ball game room. It's a place can accommodate 150 to 200 people max but not more than that. <br/>The Menu is decent, it's pretty much continental and drinks menu is the same. It's the same old classic list. We have ordered few cock tails which are pretty decent, although the prices appear to be average for a 3 star club. I paid 385 for a Margarita (Tequila 60ML). This place also supplies Hookah, which was really good and charged as 500 for the entire group which I think is very decent. <br/>The waiters and pub management seems bit grumpy, there was absolutely no smile on their face and we had to repeat our order trice to make them understand which was quite frustrating. <br/>And apart from pub management, this place highly need improvement in DJ selection, the music sucked up badly, they started with pop on a Sunday night and then moved into Bollywood music, seriously? Who dance on Bollywood on Sunday? DJ needs to understand the mood of the crowd and swing accordingly... <br/>With all that, I also hated one more thing about Cuba Libre, every Sunday before 8:30 they said it is happy hour and you get 1 on 1 for drinks, I have got so excited about that unfortunately my Margarita is not were on 1 on 1 category which I wasn't told prior placing my order. I felt I have got manipulated. Otherwise, over all I think Cuba Libre is one of the decent hang-out places in Hyderabad. <br/><br/>And so, I give 3 out 5 :)

To start of with Cuba's cocktails..I simply loved them..a few errors here n there...but all in all good collection of cocktails...which I simply adore! u cannot compare Cuba's starters...just perfect...u will relish them if u are a foodie..specially d non veg platter..I personally liked d ambience very much...since I have been a regular to dis pub..hence I know which days will be happening!!! I would like to appreciate Mr. Uday Lama on this forum for his hospitality displayed during our visits..he's a true hospitality personal...we tried this pub for d first time through snapdeal when it just opened...n ever since then has been our favorite spot for hangouts in Hyderabad! awesome place n awesome ppl....

Terrible service, rude management . Advice everyone not to go.

I went to this restaurant with a couple of friends, the ambience was decent, but the service was pretty bad, it wasnt even full , they forget your orders,i had to ask mine for 3 times to get it. I also did not like the quality of the drinks it was very bad, less alcohol more ice, when we asked the waiter about he said he was sorry, and will make it up in the next drink , but we did not want to have a next drink.we started dancing then he asked all stags to sit down, as some foreign delegate was coming and stags werent supposed to dance at that time.Any way a bad place for stags & service . Try it at your own risk. The management is also very rude unless you know someone there. Vovotel is much better for the same price.

Umm...strange for a non drinker to be reviewing a bar..but i suppose, there would be more like me who visit this place. This review is specifically for them. :)<br/>Starting with the place i was there for....the music and dance floor...well, nothing i have to complaint in that section. Though not perfect, but as i was slightly drunk(i usually dont drink, but just tasted a cocktail they had to offer which went by the name Cube libre...Flavor wise, not bad) so everything seemed good. :) <br/>The seating was not very comfortable if you wish to sit down and chat, but anyhow, how are you expected to chat with that loud music.<br/><br/>Play area was not as per my expectation...1 pool table for the whole bar...now that not called for. Atleast 3 is required. The things people mostly do in a bar is smoke, play , drink and dance... and i believe a pool gave with a glass and a smoke is an ultimate combo people look for ( i have seen people enjoying this combo a lot). the play area could be made sound proof which it was not.<br/><br/>the food served in the corporate package i was in, was just a biryani. Both veg and non veg, but just a Biryani... :(<br/><br/>Though the starters tasted good... the paneer was very creamy, better than most of the places in hyderabad.<br/><br/>All in all a mixed feeling. Cannot go for points as i am not the right person to rate a bar, i can just share my experience. :)...

This place is known for hosting the best salsa socials every Thursday evening. <br/>The have big dance floor, you don't have to worry anyone stepping on your toes (Unless its extremely crowded day). But in general I like to go to this place every Thursday and enjoy some Latin music and Salsa dance. <br/>If you happen to have an urge to see the best salsa dancers in Hyderabad Cuba Libre is your first choice. Its great place to unwind to salsa lovers....<br/><br/>Cheers.

Went there with a couple of friends. The setup seemed decent enough. They have giant screen telecasting the match and a separate room which has a snooker table as well.<br/><br/>The service, food options, food quality, presentation, taste are all pretty average which I answered my question on why isn't this place crowded and popular.

Went there for Corporate night with my colleagues, it was a bit over crowded but was a great night(as went with my colleagues for the 1st time). A separate pool room made the evening and the dance floor added the flavors to the night. As we went for the corporate night the drinks were limited. <br/>They had some special drink (don't remember the exact name) which was not that good as one might have expected(according to my friends). Food was limited and was fine. <br/>For me the place was good as we enjoyed the game of pool and the dance floor. <br/>Otherwise, the place is just average.

I went there on 24th of Aug 2012. It was a corporate night. We went at around 7 p.m. in happy hours. After ordering some 12 pints for 3 people we asked for 6 more pints. They refused saying you have to finish these first within happy hours. Ok may be they had different policy but could have told us in a polite manner. The Manager was very rude. He was of age 24-26 yeras so his feets were not on ground it seemed. Very rude. <br/><br/>Now comes the pathetic part.We experienced the food was very good in happy hours with a beautiful menu which they changed after happy hours. They brought one laminated paper menu which u usually see in dhabas. WTF. There was no discount on food menu in happy hours (Offcourse there shouldnt be any) then why changing it and giving very few options to the customers.I was totally confused why they did it. I told to Manager i came to know about this place from zomato and please improve on ur problems or else i will mention the same on zomato but he had no concern and infact started showing attitude. No courtesy for the customers at all<br/><br/>I feel the place was good but because of so much nuances I will never return to the place.

went there once, there was some corporate get party going on, the music was terrible, food was also not great, havent been there again

Place is good i went here after i was disappointed from Rain.Don know it was due to residual frustation from Rain which pushed me to like CUBA but overall it was good.<br/>Only draught beer was available and we stayed till the manager transferred our drinks to the disposable and showed us way out.<br/><br/>worth going again,specially who love bollywood music.<br/><br/>:)

Visited this place when DJ NASHA was playing for the first time in this PUB. PUB is average, quite spacious. But any spacious location will become really bad if it is too crowded, the same happens here.<br/><br/>Only 8-9 items in menu, but yes they are tasty (little in quantity)& ofcourse too costly. French fries - Rs. 195/- (so just imagine).<br/><br/>In beer --- Only one (brand) PINT beer is available that to Rs. 500/- per bottle.<br/><br/>In other drinks you have few options ( of course not many)<br/><br/>People who enjoys bollywood music should not go there as they mostly play's commercial (more of music & less of songs, either english / hindi).<br/><br/>Service is ok. Ambience is good.<br/><br/>And remember !!! to get this place you may have to change 4 lifts in the GVK building if you dont choose the right one at the first go.<br/><br/>Overall 2 / 2.5 out of 5.
