I had to come from a long way to Mostly mono for Momos. It was worth it, There are both Momos, steamed and fried ones with reasonable prices. The Ambience is full Chinese and cool. Good to go.

Mostly Momo is nothing but an extended room of Alex Kitchen. It has same menu, atmosphere and everything else as Alex Kitchen and is also just beside it. When Alex Kitchen gets crowded, they move people to Mostly Momo. Preferable for evening snacks though.

The ambience is ok.Food is ok too.The food you order arrives 30 mins after the order.Wouldn't recommend this place. The staff is not very responsive and they are way too slow. After a long wait the food is below average.

Nice place, good ambience. Food is good too. Momos taste good, both fried and steamed. Fried rice and noodles are good too. Staff is helpful, had a good visit. All in all, good place for a quick bite

A perfect Chinese restaurant. The menu has lot's of Chinese dishes. The place is well decorated to give you Chinese vibes. The hospitality is great and the staff is very cooperative. We ordered lot's of items, chicken chow chow, chicken manchou soup, chicken drumsticks, schezwan friend rice, prawns noodles and fried ice cream. All of the items were delicious with great in quality. The experience of eating with chopsticks was great. The prices are pretty reasonable. It is an extended part of Alex Kitchen.

Located exact beside Alex! Staff was awful and talked in a rude manner just because we were wet as it was raining.. Tried American chopsuey and the taste was ridiculous! Wouldn't ever go there

The third visit in our mini foodhathon as per our list.
It's located just aside to Alex kitchen and surprisingly both the owners are same.
Ambiance is very good
After having good experience with fried rice in Alex it was totally opposite in these restro.
We have ordered Fried Chicken Momos in another 8 to 10 mins we were served with the Momos the chicken filling was very nice and tasty but the outer coating was not upto the mark it was too oily we have to use tissue papers to get rid off from the oil.
The second order was Fried Icecream which was show stopper properly fried with a bread crumb mixture the inside Ice Cream was also tasty where you visit it a must try dish. They serve it in both restro Alex as well as Mostly Momos.
We enjoyed fried icecream a lot.
Service is at par

Cheers!!!
Amir

Update: it now shares the same menu and kitchen as Alex Kitchen next door. The momos are great and the chutney is now revised. Loved it the last time I was here a week ago.
Past:
As the name suggests, I've only tried the veg momos. The sauce isn't as good as momos are normally accompanied with but the momos themselves are huge with a delicious filling.

If you wish to feel the closeness and low-light ambiance of an in-house Chinese restaurant while paying the least possible price for real tasty food, this is undoubtedly one of the places to consider.
I have been to this place about 3-4 times thus far and have tried a good number of items (both veg and non-beg) and the taste is indeed amazing.
The Chinese artifacts hanging and placed all over the place simply make the place feel totally authentic.

The worst chinese restaurant ever to visit. Fully disappointed, better to eat on roadside fast food center. The service is very poor, it took forever to serve the ordered dish.] Typical chinese restaurant, cannot be had by most . It is better to choose any restaurant other than this. This will be a memorable experience(sarcastic) in my life.

This is in continuation with my review about Alex Kitchen and may contain a bit repetitive content.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mostly Momo's is a new place run by the same management as the age old Alex Kitchen, situated right opposite TTD Kalyana Mandapam at Himayat Nagar. It is very difficult to find the place if you are a newbie, unless accompanied by someone. Basically, it is inside the building opposite the Kalyaana Mandapam.

Saturday afternoon, four of decided to meet at Alex Kitchen for lunch as it was place most of us had not tried before. One among us has been a patron of the place for the last 10 years, so we decided to give it a try.

On arriving, I was initially skeptical about how the place is going to be, as the building from outside looks pretty old. But the moment I opened the door, I was taken aback by both the interiors and the crowd. Amazing interiors and a jampacked place for a Saturday afternoon. Never have I seen such a crowd at a Chinese place before. Due to the rush, one of the waiters told us that the next shop, Mostly Momos, is by the same management, i.e. the same place, so we could either sit there and have or else wait. Little did we know that we would be cheated by accepting to dine at Mostly Momos.

The interiors of Mostly Momos is not that attractive as Alex Kitchen. The waiter from Alex Kitchen came in from a side entrance and told the waiter at Mostly Momos that we were his customers and to give us the menu.

For starters we ordered Prawn Chips, Prawn Pakoda Cut Fried and Pepper Fish. It was for the first time that I had tasted Prawn Chips, so never had expected it to come in the form of Fried Papads with Prawn Scent. Later, we were told of its making in which the entire prawns and batter is blended and then understood, but still we didn't like the dish much. The Prawn Pakoda atleast had some prawn pieces. It is made into a ball, cut into halves and deep fried. It had some taste, but was not great. The Pepper Fish was a lump of fish in red batter with a lot of chillis and lacked even the basic pepper taste.

We had also order 2 by 3 Veg Manchow Soup and 1 Canton Soup (Bird Flu scare made us not to order Chicken). The soups were horrible with a lot of corn flour that it looked like some green liquid glue. Even the Manchow Soup lacked the standard dark colour and taste that it has.

After the disastrous beginning, we decided to go for Sichuan Mix Non Veg Fried Rice minus chicken. Trust me, even the roadside chinese shops will serve better tasting fried rice. This was just a mash of rice with some chilli sauce rather than sichuan sauce. There was hardly any vegetables in it except for a few glimpses of spring onions which you might chance upon. The food also had a lot of oil in them.

Overall it was a very bad experience and a day wasted, driving all the way to here from Gachibowli.

One suggestion to all who visit with the intend of visiting Alex Kitchen, if they ask you to sit at Mostly Momo's, DO NOT ACCEPT THE OFFER!

Such a DISASTER. We actually traveled all the way from Kondapur to this place with the hope of trying out "Alex Kitchen" (heard really good review about Alex kitchen), When we entered Alex Kitchen, the waiter told us that it is full and advised us to go Mostly Momo's, which is adjacent restaurant. He promised that this restaurant was also run by the same management and they serve the same food. So this is how we ended up in this so called Chinese place. We have ordered Manchow and canton soup which was a real disappointment. We again cross checked with the waiter and found out that we have been misguided and the kitchen is not same for both the place.

Starters were okay (nothing great) and the main course sucked big time, Honestly i have had better fried rice in street shops, no flavor at all, it was just rice dipped in oil.

Will give it a try one more time in Alex Kitchen and review about the same.

I have had momos near china border and in Sikkim ... The momos here were quite disappointing.. And were very costly comparatively... But the interiors were good , which doesn't matter if the food isn't good..

Really tough to spot. The place is not that large and quite congested. Gives you the feeling of a typical small chinese restaurant that has lots of wall hangings and chinese pottery decorating the walls, the tapestries complimenting the lighting and with sliding back doors that you see in movies... :P But nonetheless the food it serves matches and is quite good. It is also served in fairly large quantities. For the price of the food and its quantity it is definitely a 5 on 5. So well priced, good interiors and fast and efficient service. Overall a very good place to hangout and have a quick bite and keep moving. The fried Ice cream and momos here are popular and they live up to the name. :)

As a dumpling lover came across this place on Zomato near my home. A small place with sombre lighting on a bustling street in Himayath Nagar. A government shop which opens only till 9 PM. Chicken momos though were quite good and decently priced. Staff too was courteous but the only drawback were the timings they are too strict and do not entertain guests if you are late. On a whole a good place if u r a dumpling lover A MUST GO!!!!!!
