Good and quite an economical place. Pizzas and pasta are very very delicious and mouth watering. Service is almost brisk. Ambience is great. You have a lot of one on one offers.

A gem of a place, situated in Gandipet, with beautiful decor having both indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately this is rendered closed on Zomato for some reason. They serve awesome food and have prompt service. Ideal for group dinners and dates. The service is also very prompt. They served complimentary brownies after our dinner as a sweet gesture. I really liked their service.

Amazing ambience and food. It's a must go place with friends and family. The view of the pond is great to take pictures at. There's music and drinks too. The place is so clean and the ambience is pretty good. A go to place with friends for lunch or dinner at the outskirts of the city for a change with pleasant sceneries around and fresh air. Would recommend trying the desserts here.

Good Food with decent ambient. Perfect for small group sizes of 6-8 people. They do have all varieties, continental, Indian and American style like pizzas, Italian also. Price would be like for two people 1000-1500/- range.

Lovely place for lunch. Lately the food is improved a lot after change in management I guess. The set up of the place is super. They made a wooden flooring over a artificial pond where you can see fish next to the table you are sitting.

This is nice place with delicious food and beautiful ambiance. Although, Ifound price are upward side of the box during my first visit to this place in October 2019. They have good parking space and helpful staff. I had veg fried rice which come in a good quantity at price tag of Rs. 225. At last, I would like to say go there and enjoy this place.

A decent place to hangout with friends and family. The place is still under construction. Would recommend the indoor seating area as the outdoor area is not well maintained.<br/><br/>Since we went in the evening, the menu was limited. Had the Cheese Garlic Bread, Veg Maggi and Grilled Veg Sandwich and it didn't disappoint. Veg Maggi is a must try in this place.<br/><br/>The ratings could definitely improve if the ambience can be enhanced and they complete the construction soon.

This place near Gandipet looks great but food here is just opposite it doesn't taste good and the service here is very bad though it was empty there was no one for service and even after ordering the food arrived late.I had a bad experience here!

looks great place at good location on the way towards IBS ... over priced and lack of training  to staff ... there mock tails are nothing but sugar syrup ...lemon soda is rs 125 ....  most items mention of A4 paper menu is not available leaving to eat or order what they have .

So this isn't only a lounge but it is also a gaming centre. You have paintball and a lot more games to choose from. They have this beautiful man-made pond out there. It's better if you visit this place in the eve.

I get really excited about open green spaces and happened to see the photos of this place and didn't bother to read the reviews, and thought of trying it out. While this place has great potential and the whole drive from the city to Gandipet is beautiful with a lot of vegetable farms on the way, the food is not upto the mark. It's just the lack of choice here. They could have put up seats on the patio, where people could sit outside especially in the winters. The indoor seating is also not upto the mark.

It can be rated as the best among worst restaurants in hyderabad. Today we went for a team lunch for around ten people. Frst we ordered soups.. The soups are horrible and smell itself is very bad(we cancelled the soups order then) . Then chicken starter not at all properly cooked. Then prawn starter... Very smelly and not cooked well(cancelled this as well) . This restaurant is situated too far from the main city area.The food here is  satisfactory ,but still then its overly priced.Should improve the menu selections and include more food items.Italian pastas were good.Do try this cuisine.

This place seemed to be a sigh of relief for those travelling regularly in the route of shankarpally. Especially for the students of IBS and CBIT.. The ambience of this place is amazing but the food is an extreme disaster and the Service sucks equally..<br/>We had ordered for a crispy chicken and lime sodas. The chicken was overly cooked with oil literally dripping out of it. <br/>The sweet lime soda was served sugarless.. Thats pardonable as human errors are unavoidable. But a rectification of such errors immediately is what a customer expects. We sat there doing nothing awaiting for a bit of sugar in our lime sodas. But the wait prolonged for about 20 minutes and nobody came for our rescue. Finally we cancelled our order and just made the payment for the oily chicken. This is the most disappointing restaurant I have visited in Hyderabad. Though the ambience is good the upkeep is poor, especially the water fountain. The quality of oil is substandard and one can get an unpleasant oily smell all around this place.

went with a group of friends of 7 persons. The ambiance looks great like a floating restaurant. but the menu was limited. Got a clarification from the gentlemen there that they are re doing their menu and existing menu would be there for a very short while. He showed us around the entire soccer theme resort they have. The planning of it looks promising and out of the world. Coming to the food, we left the choice to the service team and all the items were served promptly and the dishes were upto the exotic names they had. wish them all the best in re doing their menu and hope they will maintain the same consistency of the food quality and service by next visits.

This place offers you beautiful ambiance, and that is what urged me try this place, but to my surprise I was disappointed with the etiquette of the management. As we parked our car and entered, a lady came up to us and led us to the dining area only when another gentleman walked in and murmured something to her. It was later conveyed to us that the place was totally booked and they were not going to entertain any other guests that night. I felt so embarrassed and insulted by this behavior of theirs that I would never want to go here again and I'd make sure I never suggest this place to anyone either.

While the food is nothing to write home about, the place itself is beautiful. The lovely koi pond is a delight to watch and the landscaping sets the mood for a romantic date. It is really worth a visit.

The place looks good from outside, but as soon as you enter you start believing that all that glitters is not gold. It took them nearly 1 hour to serve the starters which tasted below average, and 1 starter was served after we received the main course. The service was so pathetic that servers didn't even know which dish they were serving. We even ordered milkshakes which were nothing but melted ice cream. I wouldn't go to this place even if it was the only available option.

Located near to Gandipet Lake on an artificial pond this place is amazing when it comes to ambience and decor. I visited this place in the afternoon with my friends as it is close to my college. They have a great place to start with and can definitely improve the ambience. In spite of the restaurant being empty during the time of our visit we had to wait long for our order to be taken, served and bill given. High point was the food decadent shakes and cold coffee and the lasagna was amazing with great cheese sauce, stuffed vegetables and soft ,moist pasta sheets, nicely baked and layered. worth a try.

Been there around 3.30pm afternoon and was surprised to see that already a group of people were shouting at the service team as they had been waiting for their order since one hour. We still ignored and sat down, to our astonishment we found that there wasn't any team member from service team and we were left unattended. Horrible service and the ambience was also just OK. Nothing Wow!!!

an exiting place for people of all ages,kids are absolutely loving this place though some amenities are yet to come up it would be a wonderful place for a family outing where you can enjoy both sports and food,it has a full size football court and they have regular trainers also,coming to the food you have the menu ranged from Italian to Asian which is pretty good and last and the best part of the place is the ambiance which is perfect for pleasant evening

Penalty box cafe yes just like the name this place is also different and interesting.. First thing the ambiance, this box is small and cute i love the place, its a little far from city still worth going. Food.. We enjoyed the food, spcly fish and chips.. I was waiting to visit this place since I heard about and the pictures which I have saw from other foodie mates. its finally the happened. I had made a plan to hangout with my friends for the week end. Thought it would be best one to make a week end better so been to this place .finding this place will not make u any trouble as it has got clear signage every turn till we reach it. It has got a catchy entrance ambience which grabs the people in when someone be through that road. The way they carved the place was quite intrsting there are many other things gonna come up along with this only the resto cafe was started and a drive in theatre and some other intresting things like food ball and some indoor games and things gonna come up said by one of the person who work their showed us all around with our request. Its definitely a good well designed place for a group of gathering to hangout. <br/>Coming to the food. This place has got an amazing taste of food one could never expect before coming here. <br/>I have expected for a good and tasty food to be served but the food over here is yummy. <br/>I liked every item which I have ordered. <br/>The prices are like not so pocket friendly they are little high. <br/>The service is slow which can be improved. only one person is available to take care of the whole thing. Passing by my college IBS, we had to stop at Penalty Box. Undoubtedly the ambience is 10/10. It looks like it serves Sheesha and Drinks but it actually doesn't which is a little bit sad. Though I didn't eat much, I just had a Lemon Ice Tea which was not bad :) I yet have to visit it in the evenings where I've heard there is a love band playing often. If there was hookah served that would be great! But definitely I'm in love with the way they've structured Penalty Box and created an amazing ambience! Good place to chill with friends after college hours.

Looks like owners have spent quite a good amount in setting up this cafe.<br/><br/>They have sign boards starting from Financial district ORR exit.<br/><br/>Coming to the food we ordered barbecue wing, Taipei chicken, Butter garlic prawns , Pwneer shashilik, Italian fritters<br/><br/>Taipei chicken ,Barbecue wings & paneer shashilik were really good and Butter garlic prawns and Italian fritter were just Ok.<br/><br/>Ordered Grilled veg Pizza,Smoked chicken & sundried tomato Pizza , Veg lasanga and Chicken pasta for mains and all of them turned out really good.<br/><br/>And finally desserts turned out the highlight of the lunch. Tried out penalty cheese cake,red velvet cake, Grand opera and pannacota.<br/><br/>All of them turned out really good. This place newly opened just near my college on a Wednesday, and they had an inaugural offer for a buffet. There were a lot of people from my college who made it there that night, and well it was crowded I would say. The minute I saw this place I really liked it - like really! It has both indoor and outdoor seating, but the really interesting part is that the outdoor seating is on stilts and there's a pond below with goldfishes. Even the decor of the place is quite nice. From what I've heard they are planning to do a lot more like an open air amphitheatre screening football matches, and I can only imagine how amazing that would be.<br/><br/>Talking about the service, the staff were really courteous. It was raining the day we went, and some of the seats were wet in the outdoor seating area. They were polite, changed our cushions and made sure we were comfortable. The drawback when we went was that, it was opening night, and there was a HUGE crowd which they had underestimated - after soup and starters, the service became really slow and hay-wire. I would have to add though, the way the staff managing the customers was commendable, they were short staffed, lot of orders and not enough food rolling out, even though the head waiter was literally sweating bullets and was flustered, they continued to be polite. I know a lot of tables didn't even get everything they paid for. I'm sure though this was because it was opening night, and I'm guessing they will improve over time.<br/><br/>Coming to the most important thing - the food! For a Café nestled in the middle of nowhere literally, it was really really good, and even if it were closer to the city, it would serve better food than a lot of places. They mainly serve Asian/Continental cuisine. The buffet included Soup, Salad, choice of any two main course dishes - in Continental and choice of one main course dish in Asian, and choice of two desserts. I had the lemon coriander soup, nothing exceptional, skipped on salads but have heard that the Caesar salad is quite good. Moving to the Chimmychanga for starters, it was a spring roll with an Indian twist - my reviews on it are mixed, not sure if I liked it or not - but definitely unique but they need to make sure they serve it with a proper sause as well. Main course was a veg pizza, pasta and Mongolian noodles. The pizza was good, wood oven pizzas with fresh dough and prepared quite well. However, I have to add, my friends who ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza didn't really like it - the pizza in itself was smelling of stale chicken, and it was like a piece of chicken was kept on each slice. The veg pasta was delicious, if I wasn't already stuffed, I'd have gorged it down in no time. Now the most delicious item they had on their menu was the crème brulé! If I could have, I'd have eaten another 10 of those! They were absolutely delicious. The other desserts served that night were forgettable and honestly are forgotten.<br/><br/>I cannot comment on the price, since we went on inaugural night, and the price was lower as they were looking to pull crowds from our college and people from the surrounding areas. From the looks of the menu, it looks reasonably priced, but I can comment only after I visit once more.<br/><br/>My final verdict would be a definite yes. For people in the city, the drive down to the café would be worth the trouble and makes for a perfect weekend getaway. For the people around this area - it's a no-brainer! It definitely is a nice place to hang out at, serving good quality food (maybe with a few slip ups) but definitely worth the try.

For those searching for a place tucked in the greens and secluded from all the chaos, Penalty Box Cafe is the place. <br/><br/>The name is catchy and so were the sign boards with different catchy lines.<br/><br/>my favourite would be - "take this rasta for an awesome pasta", and I was sold immediately to try out this place.<br/><br/>With some wandering around gandipet lake, we finally managed to reach the cafe.<br/><br/>Talking about the décor, they have come out with a novel concept. Giving the patrons an option to sit in a air cooled environment or experience floating feeling. It is earthy, rustic, simplistic.<br/><br/>We ordered, a Barbecue Chicken Pizza, Lasagna, Tai Pei Cauliflower and Tiramisu Cake.<br/><br/>Talking about the food, it did taste good. The only unpleasing experience that we had was the time, but considering that the place opened a month ago it was Ok.<br/><br/>Must try is the Tiramisu Cake. So creamy and full of taste it just melted in mouth. Bliss !

Waste of time, served stale croissant sandwich in 45 minutes even the French fries was cold. When you complain it falls in deaf ears. Seriously don't waste your time in this place.

I have only heard good things about the place and after today's rendezvous, I can say I have joined that list too! This place has recently come up and has created quite a buzz for itself. They have a whole different world outside the city chaos. <br/><br/>Spacious and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for outdoor. The place is designed like a cottage over a pond and gives a very "fresh" feel. We went for an evening snack but we ended up completing our dinner. :P<br/><br/>Must tries:<br/>- Anything FISH. I don't know how they do it, when I ate "fish fingers" the pieces were melting in my mouth. The NV version of Mongolian rice came with another fish side-dish. Fish again! yes! I was excited. As I already mentioned, it simply melted. I'm not a pasta fan but after tasting it, I wanted more and more and more.<br/><br/>-Milkshakes are great.<br/><br/>-Brownies! Never have I tasted such amazing brownies ever! When I had my first bite of it, I simply thought " .. this is how a brownie should be." <br/><br/>This is all I got to try from their very long menu. Another great thing about this place is the staff and the ambience. A peaceful place you can visit to indulge in what I call 'food experience'.

How can one have such an amazing place in such a seclusion!! May be that is what made this place so beautiful!<br/><br/>We were on our way back from Osmaan Sagar Lake and happen to notice the sign board for this place. Never seen such catchy and innovative sign board. It was at every mile with new caption every time. So just followed them and then came the Cafe Penalty Box. Located in the midst of stretches of greenery, this place has both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. Besides there is also a ship cargo type of seating which was really cool ( though the AC was not working that time but still liked the concept). They also have a pond type of set up on which half of the restaurant stands.<br/><br/>Since this was an impromptu visit, we already have had our lunch so were not that hungry. Ordered butter garlic pasta, cheese cake and pannacotta. The service was quick and all the dishes were yummieelicious. We almost licked the plate of pannacotta :P. <br/><br/>A  must go place, away from the city chaos surrounded by greenery all around.
