Review Ice & Spice - Hyderabad

Hyderabadyfoodiediva
Visited ice & spice restaurant to try middles eastern cuisine is known for its flavorful and diverse dishes, and the items you mentioned are indeed popular choices. Shawarma, falafel, hummus, and kuboos (also known as khubz or pita bread) are all commonly found in Middle Eastern restaurants and loved by many. Shawarma consists of marinated and grilled meat, typically served in a wrap or pita bread with vegetables and sauce. Falafel is made from ground chickpeas or fava beans, formed into balls or patties and then deep-fried. Hummus is a creamy dip or spread made from mashed chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. Kuboos is a type of flatbread that is often used as a staple in Middle Eastern cuisine. Enjoying these dishes at an Ice & Spice restaurant sounds like a wonderful culinary experience!

Ordered by Swiggy and Zomato. I have ordered Chicken 65, Chicken reshmi kabab, Chicken malai kabab were very awesome. Chicken muttabaq is awesome too yummy and chicken cheese muttabaq was ok. Their sharwama is good but arabic sharwama is awesome👍👍👍
Dr Suboor Syed
Famous for shawarma Sahan, muttabaq... Also serves Indian cuisine, but not that tasty... Last time I had muttabaq was very salty so be little careful while you order.

If you are looking for the best middle East food in toli chowki, this is the place. Shawarma is a must try.

The hospitality of the owner (or cashier, sitting at the counter) and staff at this place is lovely. They welcome customers very nicely and they all give their best to comfort the customers. I have been to this place multiple times, but have only tried Shawarma all these times. Me being Shawarma lover 😄. So there's this time, when I went there with my wife, and ordered a Arabian Shawarma and a coke. While we were savouring our Shawarma, he politely brought us 2 pieces of hot Falafels with garlic sauce. It was awesome and complementary! It is located in the food court area opposite Shah Gouse.

Decent place to try something different. Arabic dishes. We had mutabbak and falafal. Falafal was good.

I had been fasting on this day and came across ice n spice, thought of giving it a go. Tried the shawarma, mutabbaq and a juice. The craziest part about the shawarma is that it has fries, which I hardly see served in Hyderabad , rather less places. Wouldn't think twice before visiting the place again..would love if you could come up with zaatar fatayr as well

Best place to have sahan shawarma and middle east food always top on my list ❤️❤️
Kosalendra Eethamakula
I ate "Normal Shawarma" here which comes in Naan Bread and was good. The place is neat and quiet. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Many vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks and main course food items are available here along with fresh fruit juices. This is located in a vibrant area surrounding with many other restaurants in Tolichowki. Good for a quick bite.

If you wish to have Authentic middle east food then this is the place. They have renovated the place and the sight of hummus makes my mouth water.

The pics include the following that had been tasted and loved the quality of food. Special call out for the shawarma that had fries in them ( served the right away) and mutabbaq that was lip-smacking

1. Chicken shawarma
2. Mutabbaq
3. Juice

In the famous food circle of yousuf tekri there is this place called ice and spice which is very famous for the arabic food especial mutabbaq which almost many people says that it has a resemblance of what it tasts in arab and i've also kinda ate it a few times and i suggest you try it for once and the 2nd best thing i liked from here was the chicken shawarma which gave me a surprise coz they include fries in it without even putting extra pricing but the wrapped roti was not rumali but it was qubus i guess which still didn't destroyed its taste... Seatings are manageable and fine but wont say comfortable...

Oh, its the most authentic place for shawerma in Hyderabad, its so soft and clear you wont believe me!
Also the thick shakes here are the best in town
Anu Satish
Known for shawarma chicken shawarma was good with lots of chicken filling and falafel is a must try.. they have a mayonnaise bottle on the table where u go to posh restaurant they give it with add on charges it was interesting

Faazil Hussain
It's good place to chill with friends and you can enjoy your food they have 2 different places for having food inside and outdoor and they serve pretty fast and good. Recommend
Sheikh Roohan
They server great Mutton mandhi, one of the best in hyderabad. Ambience is OK but their Arabic dishes are good including shawarma. Would recommend
Souvik Patra
One of my personal favourite place for Arabian delights and also fast foods also in Tolichowki.
We tried the cheese burger, the chicken Muttabaq and then the Falafal Mushkal with Hummus. Overall the taste was great and it's a crowded place. Overall recommended to try with Chicken Muttabaq from this and the cheesy burgers.
Zeenat Ali
A n awesome place for muttabaqs and shawarma too .. I really like the mutabaq here it is awesome .. the falafel are also good !! Must try place for muttabaq ..It has a separate ladies or family section too !!
Zubair Mohammed Iftekhar
Ice and Spice is one of the restaurants which came up when Yousuf Tekri Food Court was in its initial phase.

They have the best Arabic food in town hands down. This is the only place in Hyderabad which adds french fries in their shawarma. The Mandi is great as well and is very close to the Mandi served in the gulf. Muttabaq is their most popular dish and it's absolutely lip smacking. The khubz along with Falafel, Hummus and Garlic Sauce is amazing as well.

Ambience is fine and service is quite good as well. A great place for gulf returns.
Khalid Rasool Khan
The best Arabic food in town and very cheap too..for 300/ two can have a decent meal. Their Muttabak should be tried and also the Sahan. The outdoor seating is nice but take along a tube of Odomos..

Generally hot and cold treatment is reserved for lifeless babies or mental patients but what many people don't realise is that there is another disease for which it works perfectly too and that is : Hunger.
That said Ice and spice dishes out some delicacies, some more delicious than the others but fine in their own way nonetheless. Being a party of four we ordered the mutton Mandi, four shawarma, chicken muttabaq and falafel.

The Mandi was exceptionally good with the tender flavourful meat and well seasoned rice. The side dish of the tomato relish went very well with what was already a superb dish. Let's just say one wasn't enough and we had to go one more time.

The shawarmas were a tad disappointing as the chicken was very dry and there wasn't enough sauce in it. The pita bread was soft and at a nice temperature but I would have wanted more.

The falafel was amazing and at the right temperature. Not to mention the sides of hummus, tahina and garlic sauce were done perfectly. Having lived in the UAE for 18 years I know how a falafel is done and this was perfect.

While the Mandi is the undoubted emperor, the muttabaq proved that it can take the Mandi on in a fight anyday if it wants to. Soft, hot with a crisp outer layer and filled with the perfect fillings , the muttabaq was no less in making us have seconds. An excellent choice indeed.

That said Ice and spice really lets you chill out with some authentic well done Arabian food. A suggestion however would be to add a card swipe facility as they accept only cash or paytm. If you want to relish some steaming muttabaq or crunchy falafel head over and spice up your life.
Syed Ahmed
A good place to dine especially for Arabian food , the shawarma here is nice , also had mandi here which is pretty good, the staff is polite and also they frequently attend you for any assistance, overall hygiene and ambience is good.

Ice & Spice is a small place located at Yusuf tekri complex at towlichoki....The complex has many food joints with lots of choices. Ice and Spice offers pizzas, burgers, fresh juices, ice creams but their speciality is Arabic food. This is must visit place if u r looking for Arabic food. Do try out chicken muttabaq, fried shawarma and hummus. Other food options are good too......
Everard Xavier
This is one place a foodie has to visit the food here is amazing the sahan is amazing, food here is value for money the ambience is not so great , the waiter was friendly and the food was delicious loved it one place you have to visit if near towlichoki.
Food :4/5
Service 3/5
Ambience:2/5 but overall I would gv this place A 4
Siddharth Singh Gaur
This is a decent place and known for its muttabaq and shawarma. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to try muttabaq.

The dishes are accompanied with 3 sauces that adds to the over all taste.
Sandeep Yemjal
After a long time tried there Chicken Mutabbaq and Special Mango Lassi, it was nice. However it could be better as the last time I tried it was awesome.
Mopur Sandeep
Yummy Arabian food. Love their shawarma and the service they provide despite of the crazy crowd. Every one should tr egg maatabbak here which is my favorite.
Rameez Siddiqui
Usually visit this place every month because apart from the many awesome things this place serves, the mutabbaq is my favorite. I recommend everyone to try the mutabbaq at this place. The special shawarma is also a class apart from the regular shawarmas with garlic sauce to go with! Its the perfect deal!
Tummy Boy
Once a tasty joint, recently it has become an average in Taste, Service, Quality and Quantity.

Shawarma were best in taste, quantity were fulfilling, service were prompt, quality ingredients but in a recent visit all went for a toss.
Rohit Reddy
This place is in tolichowki and read about it in an article mentioning it for its shawarma.
So we ordered shawarma sahan , spl shawarma and chicken muttabbaq.
In shawarma sahan , you get the chick and fries in a separate plate with 2 kuboos. The chicken and fries were good but the kuboos was not cooked properly.
The spl shawarma we ordered was also with kuboos as I mostly prefer kuboos over Rumali . This was just decent .
The best dish we had here was a Arabian dish named chicken muttabbaq. It was crispy roti kind of sandwich stuffed with chicken egg and onions. It was so good that it is a must try at this place .
The ambience is just decent which you should not be expecting much from. The service was good and prompt
So overall I would rate it as
Food - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Ambience - 3/5

Sometimes we just have to be careful of Zomato viewing of restaurants as well!
I just checked for places serving best mandi and this place popped.

We ordered chicken mandi. Though the price was satisfactory, the mandi was the worst i ever had!!!!!!

The chicken was in a boiled format and it had that smell which did not make me want to eat it.
It didnot have any kind of masala, even the situation of the rice was the same. There was turmeric all over and that was it.

Such a bad experience!!!

Later when i checked the ratings of the reviewers here, it seems like people have the mutabaaq here, which i didnot try.

The worst mandi ever, tricked by Zomato!
Sanjay Biswal
I guess worst place among all the restaurant surrounding it.Hummus served was not fresh, lacked consistency and taste.French Fries served along as side item were literally dull in color, taste and crunchiness. Atleast someone can expect good french fries, but big NO. Only thing I loved was chicken cheese muttabaq. You can parcel and enjoy it at home because the place’s ambience is low and service sucks.
Asutosh Behera
Tried Chicken Cheese Muttabag..Shawarma Sahan and Arabian Shawarma..
Chicken cheese muttabaq was good. Rest two items were worst of their kind accompanied with poorest of poor service. Ambience is super dull !!!!
If you are about to enter this place for shawarma then think twice and take few steps back. Look around and you will find Limra shawarma which is 10 times better than Ice and Spice..
Not going to this place anymore...
Faisal Mohammed
The original Arabic snack factory, this is the place to start shawarma Sahan, Mutabbaq, the others followed suit.

Still a good place for a quick snack.
Zeenath Rehana
Food-3.5
Ambience-2.5
Price-4.0
I went here for lunch with my friends after hearing lots of good things about this place. The dishes we ordered weren't available. They said is only shawarma and mandi are available at lunch and all the other dishes are available at evening. So it was disappointing.we then ordered mandi and it was the best one i had eaten so far.The price is great and one mandi would be sufficient for 2 people.Don't expect a great ambience as u wouldn't get one.
Overall its a good place for take aways for having best arabian food.
F-Maniaa
We happen to drop by anytime we're low on cash, the shawarma here is really good! Not much masala, rather lite...

They add a proportionate amount of freshly cut salad mixed with finely pierced juicy chicken, wrapped in a soft well made pita bread aka "Qubus".

The muttabbaq is alright... Nothing really different, we ordered a chicken, cheese mutabbaq and most of the filling was made with egg, a little bit of cheese and very little chicken...

There were times where we came here only for the lemonade and it was spot on! They tend to grind the juice which gives a kick to the lemonade.

The service is entirely on the mood of the waiters/servers, if they had a good day they're nice, otherwise, they're cranky...
Arun Ns
After a long time visiting this place. A must have dish here is chicken mutabbaq .. Ambiance is nothing special.. . Used to be crowded previously... recent cropping up of new restaurents have toned down the crowd considerably..Service is just about ok
Sameer Yousuf
There was time when one used to stand in queues to take parcel from here...they used to serve the best shawarma in city .... however no more same ...the reason for giving this ratings is becuz of pathetic service they provide....I used to visit this place very often in the past....but now the mohemmdia shawarma is best ....still you can try the shawarma here ..atleast better than which is served beside Kabul Darbar... something with name UKC ...
Hamza
This place serves the best shawarma. A suggestion to the owner to renovate this place and give it a complete makeover. We need to replace the furniture and have bright lights. Even the garlic sauce needs to be checked constantly to ensure hygiene: )
Ali Bahadi
Have a shawarma and mutabbaq here..... Shawarma here cant go wrong ...... Dnt expect anythng else except great arabian snacks...............
Shoeb Patel (Food Assassin)™
Taste is Awesome!!!
Ambiance is good!!!
Price is affordable!!!
Service is OK!!!
Must try Chicken Shawarma, Falafel and Chicken Mutabbaq!!!!!

Have been here several times because of their Arabian shwarama's.

This place was recommended by some of my foodie friends. Situated in Yousuf tekri complex.. Ambiance is not that great, nothing fancy no show off only about food. Some seating space inside and outside as preferred. I have been with my friends so seated inside in small family section area.

Arabian shwarama was amazing in taste, it wasn't the regular one which we had often at other places. Khubus was also grilled a little bit and been cut into pieces, outstanding one. "Shwarama sahan" is must try at this place so as "Chicken Cheese Muttabaq". Shwarama sahan is served with pita bread, 3 dips (hummus, mayonnaise and Tahina), french fries and grilled chicken. Have tried Chicken mandi too but didn't like the taste, it was more likely on a bland side and pieces were half cooked.

This place is really good for chicken Muttabaq, shawarama sahan and other shawarama's. Mandi can be avoided here. Service is quick, easy on pocket, value for money.
Esam
Well if some one wants a quick bite then this is the place. Its famous for its shawarma sahen ( its a shawarma which is served not wrapped in a pita bread but served instead in a plate) which chicken salad and fries with 3 sauces which is so yummm. They also serve muttabaq which is also a must try its a arabic dry snack. The place is cozy it doesn't have a good interiors but when u get good food sometimes u have to ignore other stuff.
Uzma Alam
This is the place where i first tried mandi..
I just love the shawarma here
I basically love this place..
Falafel shawarma mandi everything is worth ur money
Jitu Samal
Management is not good first of all
2ndly this is not the place for pizza and burgers...mostly ppl look for Arabian dishes...in fact most of the veg pizza items not available.
It could be good for non vegeterian..however not recommend for pizza and burgers..

Been visiting this place for the last 5 years. Totally addicted to the special shawarma here. 70 bucks can't get you better food, anywhere. Huge spoonfuls of freshly cut grilled chicken along with fries, and some mayonnaise make the roll totally juicy and flavorful. Each bite just makes you happier, it's that good. Other specialities of this place include the muttabaq, Mandi and shakes, and are a must try.

Ambience: This is not a very family friendly place, despite having a family section. The indoor seating is not the best and there is a stale smell in the place. This doesn't reflect in anyway on the food, so don't worry about it. There is outdoor seating as well but it tends to be noisy as it's a busy area.

Asif uncle at the counter has become a very good friend of mine, he always asks about my health and gives me health tips 😂. The other staff working here are good too, and the service is blazing fast.

I happened to visit once during Ramzaan, just before the evening prayer, and I was invited to join the meal. Uncle also gave me free shawarmas for that day, it is an experience that I hold close to my heart.

Overall:
Food 4.5
Ambience 3.5
VFM 5
Service 4.5
Hygiene and Cleanliness 3.5

Came to this authentic arabic/hyderabadi joint during Ramzan month and had their Muttabaq, pita bread and hummus which was just delicious and authentic. I just love the Arabic food and this place got full marks for that, typical old cafe type ambience. And please do not expect the spic and span cleanliness the rustic old flavour is the real charm which one should relish once in a while.

My pick will be the shawarma and pita bread with hummus just superb.

So go for it and try some Arabic/ Hyderabadi food.
Mujeeb M
I've been here a few times. Not a bad place to eat. The food is made well. Though customer service could be a bit more prompt. Definitely worth a try.

I've had a variety of stuff here. Mandi, shawarma, khobosa (or something like that). Really does taste good.

Niloy Pramanik
Muttabaq.. Awesome.. Kind of bengali Mughlai porotha.. Easy on pocket.. And filling too..dont miss this food joint.. A must for all foodies..
Shivacharan Chidurala
Had been there based on the review's in Zomato. As suggested by many, tried chicken shawarma and chicken muttabaq both are average. (More salads and less chicken in both the items) Place is not that much comfortable for family or couples. As we know Yousuf tadki is always a crowded place especially during Ramzan season.

Food : 3.0/5
Location : 2/5

Nihal Muniah
The best shawarma in Hyderabad. Hands down the best shawarma in the whole of Hyderabad. You might think this is exaggeration but no the Shawarma was amazing. The chicken was tender and the Mayo was super good. All of it for just 60₹. Mandi was also good but it didn't reach the expectations. Best option is to have mandi in Al Zaara Matbaq al Mandi which is just opposite to Ice n Spice and then come down here and gulp couple of shawarmas.
Abid Hussain
Excellent food quality and pricing, very good ambiance. We had much fun trying various Arabic dishes, one of my favourite shawarma was really good.
Junaid Ahmed
The food amazing , especially the mayo 😍 . ambience : average
Taste : excellent
Service : Good
Per head min Rs 100
My fav : chicken shawarma , mutabbaq and chicken nugget sandwich.
Syed Shoeb Ahmed
Good place to have some snacks in Arabian style, tired their chicken shawarma, chicken cheese muttabaq, milk shakes, out of all the chicken cheese muttabaq was outstanding and shawarma is good compared to other fake shawarmas present in the city out lets.
Sujahath Khan (Foodie Tummy)
Wow, simply wow !!! Taste is out of the world, Which is the major factor of my rating, I had eaten some 3 dishes, everything is amazing.. service and place is simply amazing, Highly recommended...
Kiran Kumar
Chicken sahan..wow yummy mouthwatering finger licking delicacy. Made with stuffed chicken from Shawarma with kubuz... vinegar dipped cucumber. It's a mix and mash of French fries with 3 variety sauces.. and the list never ends. Must try.
I have been going to this place for the past 5 years. The folks here have struck the right mix of taste, price and service. Here is what each of the items feel like

Shawarma Sahan: a perfect assortment of Pita, chicken, salad and dips. The dips are the actual differentiator as per me. Hummus is well made and is topped up with olive oil. The tahini is by far the best tahini that I've had in the city. The chicken is grilled to perfection. The quantity can get better though. The pita is decent but I have definitely had better. Shawarma sahan is a must try

Mutabaq: This is the Mediterranean version of the Parsi Baida roti. It has a decent amount of chicken and is topped up with spring onions.

Mandi: The Mandi here is delicious. The mutton is slow cooked and has always been tender. Unfortunately mutton Mandi gets overl by 7:30. That said the chicken Mandi is kickass too. The rice is aromatic and so is the tomato chutney.Tomato chutney strikes your taste buds with an appropriate blend of tanginess and spice.
Do try the mosambi juice . It goes down well with the Mandi. The service staff is pretty friendly and cheerful.
Raghu
A must visit place to try shawarma.
Ordered Shawarma sahan, which had many positive reviews.
It consists of 2khubus, chicken, salad(cucumber, tomato)
3dips- mayonnaise,hummus and regular chutney.
Tastes really good and a must try item from menu.
Regular chutney can be avoided.
Deepak Dhara
Enjoyed the Arabian delight at this place after a good lunch.

OK ambience, service can be improved.

Good place to hangout with friends over a chat !!
Osman Kayaoglu
I was recommended by my friend to pay a visit this place but unfortunately i am totally disappointed with their hygiene and I should admit their shawarma is good but in normal one chicken quantity is very less so you should buy an other one too
Zuhair Fareed
Ice and spice known for the shawarmas muttabaq and variety of arabian food the place is good and the things that are served is good in taste i usually visit for arabian shawarma and nuggets with cheese the concept is good......
Aquib Javed
If you like Arabic food , this is the place to be in Hyderabad. Their Sahan Shawarma is the speciality of the house . They serve it with Humus , Mayonese and Tahina. I went there last week and found it pretty delicious. The chicken was properly cooked and all the juices were flowing in your mouth from the very first bite. We also had Chicken Mandi which was a let down in comparison to the shawarma , as the chicken in it wasn't properly marinated and the rice was also not spicy enough for my pallette.
Service and ambience was decent enough . Will be visiting again soon for their Sahan Shawarma.
Arka Das
Good food. If you like Arabian food, this is the place for you. Large variety of Arabian food. Cleanliness is maintained. Price is reasonable. Nice ambience.
Kamaal Ahmed (zaiqebaaz)
Tolichowki is full of Arabian restarants and when you think of Arabian cuisine, only two or three things come to your mind, Mandi, Kabsa and Shawarma?
Well, that is when you need an intro of Ice & Spice. It is an arabian fast food center with a host of Arabian quick bites, including the mainstream Mandi and Shawarma.

My favourite here is Shawarma Sahan. Shawarma by name but its not a roll. It consists 2 Khubz (the bread). Its like our Tandoor ki roti but not made out of maida. I think its from Rava. It comes with the chicken from the Shawarma grill, accompanied by three dips. 1)The great Hummus, 2)a dip made of sesame seeds and 3)another one with butter and mayonnaise. These three dips are just heavenly. These three little bowls make me go back to this place again and again.
Thats not all in a Shawarma Sahan. There are french fries and a salad gently dipped in olive oil. All these thing on a plate that costs 140 bucks is no less than a blessing

There is Muttabaq which is similar to our Mughlai paratha
Falafel are like arabian pakode, sans spice. Not my thing, but you can try it. Its quite popular.
The Sanwiches are great. They're rich. More chicken and more cheese.
There are several varieities of Shawarmas available.

There is an entire menu of Juices and Ice Creams. They serve some exotic juices and the prices go up to 150 rupees.

The place is always filled and how with local teenagers and the African arabs. There is a small family section as well, separated by curtains. There are some tables outside too, where you can probably smoke. A must visit for foodies.
Aditya Rastogi
The food is awesome over here. The staff is also okay. Both veg as well as non-veg snacks are pretty good as well as quite cheap. I tried shawarma, chicken mutabbaq and falafel all were really tasty. Except ambience everything is just great.
Food- 4/5
Price- 4/5
Ambience- 2.5/5

Heard that the food was good here but ended up in a mess.. went on ordering in the hope of getting something good but all in vain.. only falafel is what I liked, I would recommend plate shawarma if you are in for that..
Anvesh
The food here is lips smacking tried there shewarma chicken which was delicious in taste had a good one after a long time. Then mandhi it was good overall a fine affair.

After lunch, me and my squad were planning to go to golconda fort.Had to take a detour on the way cause heat made us hungry again.Heard about ice and spice from my hyderabadi friends so we decided to get in.We entered around 3.30pm and while ordering we were informed that most of tandoori and arabian dishes were over. The waiter was speaking in a rude way which annoyed us.Initally we thought of leaving but we were damn hungry. So holding our tempers we ordered 2 plates of chicken mutubaq which i heard was a well made dish here. And the mutubaq did ease our anger. It was soft and the chicken was well cooked.Gòod stuff to eat and be light on your wallet.Costs 80/- per plate and u get enough pieces to hog.Other than the poor service ,food was good.Didnt get a chance to try the other dishes. Will i recommend this place to anyone? yes. Will i come here again? Dont think so.
Varun Chandra Bantupalli
Value for money and best taste !

I have been going to this place for more than 3 years and it never disappoints me. The shwarma and muttabaq are "must try" .. It's super cheap on your wallet too !

CRITICS AWARD!

Very few restaurants serve authentic Lebanese and Arabian Cuisine. Ice and Spice is among those few restaurants in India.

This this place well deserves those 5 stars for almost everything they serve. One could deduct 2 stars for the ambience but it would be unfair.

They have the best Falafel and Shawarma in Hyderabad. It's normally served with Hummus, Thoum and Tahini. I was amazed that these pastes are made fresh right at that moment and served.

Do not miss Falafel Mushakkal, Shawarma Sahan, Cheese Muttabaq, Chicken Muttabaq and a plate of Kabsa Laham if it's available.

The Grilled Arabic Style Chicken is a must for everyone. The main course does feature Chicken Mandi and Mutton Mandi which is fairly good but it could get better.

A big meal for two with desserts and coke would cost you 600 bucks.

Highly Recommended!

With Priyanka Sangita Hemant Hirve

Hmmmm where to start.

I'm going regularly to the restaurant for past 8 years it's one of the oldest Arabian restaurant in this locality they are managing this restaurant so well I must say price is reasonable taste is very good.
Rahim
Shawarma here is good...(less spicy..less salt...it will excellent if you add more )...
Reasonable prices...if you want to have shawarma..you can try here...
Awais
They are the first one to serve original shawarma in town ,hyd had many shawarma place before ice and spice but every one only have in bun the too spicy version which is also good but not the actual one ,ice and spice started the original one in roti ,with mild flavor they introduce mutabbaq, Sehan shawarma ,arabi shawarma ..... It's the place for Arabic snacks ....don't with the ambiance it's just a pick up place
Farhaan Nasir (bankruptfoodie)
This is a place I visit often. They are known for their Arabic food. If you ever go here i would recommend the Shawarma Sahan and the chicken Mutabbaq. One more thing, try the canned coke/Pepsi over here. The cans are imported from gulf and they taste different and better from the ones in India (I know I have lived in UAE).
Arjun Rao
Had special Chicken shawarma which was really good. They add hummus, garlic Mayo and another sauce which makes tastier. But the real clincher was chicken mutabbaq, which was amazing.
Sunakshi Bhatia
A friend suggested me this place for Shawarma. I really liked the Shawarma and fell in love with Chicken Muttabaq! This place is absolutely pocket friendly , hygienic and has courteous staff and fast service as compared to other restaurants in Hyderabad.
Overall I would give
Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Price - 5/5

Yousuf tekdi! Food paradise!! Every single eatery in this place serves such mouth watering food that you are left eating for more. This place serves some amazing Shawarmas!! I also had their hummus and was immediately hooked to it!!

July 1st - Wanted to try something new at Yousuf Tekri and it was already post 11 PM. So we stepped in Ice n Spice. Ordered Muttabaq and Chicken Mandi. We enjoyed Muttabbaq and Mandi. Both were heavenly delicious. Adding few pics :)

Ambiance - 4/5

Service - 4/5

Overall - 4.5/5

Have been to this place for around 4 years and trust me I have not been disappointed even once the price has risen but the quality of food and taste is still the best. Not a place to go with your family or couples, but definitely a place to visit regularly with your buddies.

This ramazan was my first visit here. I had a Hummus along with Pita Bread. Serving and Food quality upto level of perfection. They can work more on keeping the ambiance hygienic and also make the restaurant a little more extensive.

I was on my way to Prasads and thought of trying out this place before movie. This is small place and there is nothing much to talk about ambience.

I ordered special chicken shawarma which was quite good. Then we asked the service guy to recommend something else which is good in here and he recommended chicken mutabbaq. It was really good👌. I never had mutabbaq before and I really enjoyed it.

Overall,I very pocket friendly place which serves delicious non-vegetarian food.

I am a big Shawarma fan after eating Shawarma here....From then I keep having cravings for Shawarma....This review is based on my two visits here...Both the time I have had the same stuffs...Chicken Shawarma and Chicken Sahan Shawarma...
This was the first time I was eating shawarma after a horrible trial somewhere...so i simply fell in love with shawarma as a dish itself...Sahan Shawarma is more of giving you options...Chicken, salad, fries, garlic sauce and hummus with Khubus...everything separately....Well both the things I loved..whenever i get a chance of coming to Yousuf Tekri...This place is a must visit for me..

been here couple of times and tried their special chicken shawarma and shawarma sahan. Both were amazing. Nice cook on the chicken and the roll was amazing.. mayo is top notch as well.

nothing about the ambiance and service is quite OKish. consistently best shawarmas I have had in hyd...

Not impressed with servings prepared here. Neither shawarma nor mutabbaq. The place is not suggestive for shawarma, as none of it's varieties taste good. Mutabbaq wasn't usually ordered much.

Shakes and ice creams : A big thumbs up !
Shawarma and others: A bigger thumbs down !
This place offers a wide variety of ice cream shakes and thick shakes at a very affordable price. If you are ever craving for shakes you can trust on this place to satiate your craving. We ordered black current thick shake. Served in a small beer mug kind of glass, it was doing full justice to its name by being really thick and full of molten icecream.
We tried ordering mutton shawarma, however we were told it's no longer a part of their menu 😒. So we settled with special chicken shawarma which was served in pita bread. Quite a disappointment it was as it was dry and little bland. Next we ordered chicken muttabaq: spiced minced chicken stuffed parantha: average.
Verdict: Go to this place for ice cream shakes, good shawarmas are history now!

The visit to this place was quite abrupt and unplanned as we were in Yousuf Tekri to explore a Mandi place and were waiting for a friend to join us so in the mean while thought might as well give a burl to Ice & Spice as I had heard a lot about this place with people saying that this place offers one of the best Shawarmas in the city.

We got our selves Chicken Shawarma and indeed it was worth all the hype, the Chicken was tender, cooked to the accurate point to tickle the pallet, though this is not the best ever Shawarma's I had but yea definitely one of the best for sure.

This place has multiple other Arabian dishes to offer as well and believe you me they look tempting, had I not got any thing pre planned would definitely tried some of them but never the less would definite visit this place again to start from where I left. :-)

Visited this place for mandi and got disappointed. The chicken is not good. They have wide range of drinks and shakes. I would recommend mutabaqq at this place as it is good.

Can come here for Falafel and shakes. What I like about this place is even being so n old and minimal people from all walks of life come here to have some Arabic, lebanese taste. They may not be authentic but good for petiole looking for variety 😊😊

Dropped in at this place on a Saturday evening when the shawarmas were getting ready! This place is famous for its shawarmas and other Arabic food we heard. Arabic shawarma and chicken and egg muttabaq were very tasty claimed everyone. Being a veggie I opted for some falafel-khuboos-hummus which was great. Both the hummus and tahini sauce were great! Ended up the visit with some simple dessert of a mango sundae - which tasted great as well.

Located in the Yousuf Tekri Complex - Very important hub for food lovers. No idea about other cuisines but Arabian food section in the menu card never disappoints you. Shawarmas are always the best. Mandi is also mentioned in the list but not sure when exactly it is available. You also get different kind of desserts and milk shakes, I've tried out Chocolate milk shake and sweet lassi which is actually good. Pocket friendly place and they won't surprise you at the end by adding all unwanted taxes on your bill.

I'm a favorite of the Yousuf Tekri food court in Tolichowki as I think it has perfect blend of all types of eateries for Muslims (as tolichowki and mehdipatnam are Muslim population areas). Ice and spice is actually famous for their Arabic food and juices. I visit this place very often as this is the best place to have sahans. The shawarma sahan you get here is just awesome. Also the Mandi is pretty descent. Mutton Mandi, shawarma sahan, chicken mutabbaq and hummus are must tries here. They also serve chicken nuggets which are very unique in taste from the normal McDonald's or any other American restaurants.

Amazing !!! Its a great place for arabic food especially the shawarma and the shawarma sahan. Its a one stop place for ice creams, milkshakes, pizzas, burgers and ARABIC cuisine. Ambience -3.0 Food-4.5 Service-4.5

In a place that houses the best of Arabic restaurants, the name 'Ice and Spice' doesn't really catch your attention! I mostly used to ignore this place on my visits to Tolichowki, until a good friend of mine specifically recommended it for its shawarmas.

And true to his words, they do serve the tastiest shawarmas in the vicinity. And moreover, it is priced exactly the same as thr roadside outlets in the area! I generally prefer the shawarma sahan - which is a assortment of all the stuffs the wrap is made of, but served individually.

There's not much to write about the ambience or decor, but the staff has been quite friendly in all of my visits there.

ICE N SPICE -True to the name have something cool and spicy served at the same place.
Located in the all famous Yousuf Tekri food court that houses legendary eateries such as 4 seasons,Mandaar and Siddiquis it is next to Mandar and people can hardly miss this place.
It has got 2 seating options one at the entrance overlooking the parking and the other is an AC section.
This place has got serves some authentic shawarma some of the popular arabic delicacies, fruit juices and milkshakes.
Coming to the food I had ordered for a Chicken shawarma,Chicken muttaba and a falafel sandwich.
The shawarma was good and had the right mix of salad, chicken and mayonnaise letting you enjoy the chicken and not worry of the sauces dominating the taste.
The Chicken muttaba is my favourite at this place and never disappoints be it in terms of quality or quantity it is similar to the erstwhile popular moghlai chicken paratha with the only difference being the presentation.
Then the Falafel sandwich -this is the star of the 3 dishes and I am surprised with the taste and crispiness of the falafel loaded in the roll, this is not a regular sandwich made of bread instead it is served in a roll similar to Shawarma.
Overall a total vfm place which serves amazingly fresh food at decent prices.

I have Been here over a number of times and I love the food everytime I go, never got disappointed, they serve the best arabic food in tolichowki without any doubt, definitely worth the price, place is little bit noisy and crowdy but when you get some lip smacking food nothing of that matters.
Ambience of the place is good ,but sometimes the service might dissapoint you.
I always order for chicken sahan and chicken muttabaq , I never get bored by trying these same dishes everytime.
This place is very much pocket friendly and a total value for money, must visit it when you are in tolichowki.

Service - 3.5/5
Ambience - 3.5/5
Food - 4/5

Went to ice and spice for dinner with my husband, we ordered the falafel platter which came with hummus, garlic mayo, tahini, cucumber salad, khubz and some fries. Besides the fries being stale, all the other things were delicious! The falafel was out of this world, it had a crunchy exterior and soft flavorful inside and all the sauces were delicious too. We also ordered some fries on the side which were fresh.
Then, my husband ordered Mandi, he can't go a day without eating rice! I had a bite of it, it was also pretty good.
I ordered the chicken muttabaq, it took a while to come out but it was worth the wait. It was fresh and tasty. The we flushed it all down with a small bottle of coke. We were stuffed!
Everything tasted awesome and the cost was reasonable for the amount of food we ordered, I definitely want to go back and try some of their other Arab items.
