Review Chowpatty - Hyderabad

An @eatlikejo review(Instagram) India is rich in it's street-food culture. This is something which you just cannot avoid in any city, or in any corner street. Talking about Ohri’s... they have taken this experience to it's restaurant chains. They offer the classic street-food at their Ohri’s Chowpatti restaurant at Banjara Hills. . It's always an amazing idea to start with Pani-puri! We had our puris served on the table, but still preferred having them from the live counter. That’s altogether fun right? Palak chaat was one of their first delicacies which was served on table. It’s my favourite appetizer with yogurt, sev, chaat masalas which is also topped with coriander chutney and chilli flakes! . Then we tried their Misal Pav, which is a kholapuri delicacy and one of Maharashtra’s famous street food. The Pav’s served were sliced and diced, served along with spicy chillis which reminded me of my days at Mumbai. In Mumbai this used to be my daily routine with my peeps at office. Whenever you're in Mumbai and hungry... just go grab a plate of Misal Pav. You'll never go wrong! . Then came the Dosa Tacos. They were okayish, and I’m not a great fan of dosas. It was a modern twist to the traditional dosa, but the Mexican taco treatment to our Indian dosas felt refreshing, such an innovative concept, I must say! It came along with Chole Baturae and we all loved this classic breakfast! And then, the Chef worked his way out to present his signature dish Paneer Makhni fondue. This was just out of the world!!! This Indian curry always delights us with its rich gravy. Scrumptious! . For Desserts, we had Badam milk and Jalebis with Rabdi! I’m a big fan of Jalebis and that’s how we ended our street food tour! . Food-4.5/5 Service-3.5/5 Ambience-4.5/5 Value for money-4/5

Pocket friendly tasty snacks with beautiful ambiance and very nice staff. Good place to bring your foreign friends to give them an experience of Indian chat culture. P.S. : its more the ppl merrier the experience P.P.S : Ask for Zomato gold and pay with dineout credits to save extra bucks

Ohri's is a really big brand which started it's legacy in the year 1976. And from then,they never disappointed anyone with their food,service and the maintenance of their hotels. Normally,ohri's is famous for their fine dining's. Recently, they have got into street food &chaat items to which they named as Ohri's chowpatti. . This place is located in the same complex of Ohri's far east,eatmor. This is actually easy to find out the place even in heavy traffic. This place actually serves lot of chaat items ,lassi,soda's etc..; . I have started with mango lassi,rose milk & badam milk. For me,those three are top notch. I can say these three drinks from their menu stands in the first place. Especially in this summer season,one has to relish these amazing drinks. Also,these are available in moderate prices ranging b/w 80/- to 100/- . Ohri's is re-defining the name of golgappa's . They serve it with 3types of water which are khatta,tamarind &tomato flavoured water. But,mostly I prefer to have panipuri's to have with tamarind water. which restaurant gives you Pani puri:' s with three different flavors of water and with a nice presentation,good quality just for 70/-?? But,Ohri's does it. . palak patte ki chaat is an item which is originated in North India. Basically,spinach leaf is coated with besan flour and fried. Finally,served by adding curd onto it and some spicy masala to get the perfect taste. This dish really tasted wonderful. It really melts fast in your mouth and so was the spicy papdi chaat. . Did you ever thoughto having mini dosas shaped like tacos? Ohri's is now providing you dosas with smaller sizes just like tacos and inside filling will be of potato curry. This was really excellent with it's taste and spectacular with it's view. . And the two items which came after dosa tacos were chole bature & pav bhaji fondue really disappointed me. These both would have been better if spicy levels are more in it. . And the most wanted drink which a hyderabadi always waits for, has came to us. Yes,it's none other than chai #bolochai. That was extremely good in taste . It was served hot in a small glass. This has a name called cutting chai which is very familiar to the ones who has it in Cafe's. . Manager Manas & Chef Chand pasha has taken really good care of us . They made sure that every item came in time with a nice presentation and good taste as well. . Rating:- . Food:-4.5/5 . Great place to visit with family and friends. It's a must-try for chaat lovers! Dahi Puri is exceptionally good and all the textures and flavours sing together perfectly. Pani Puri and Palak Chat are fairly tasty. Thumbs up to the Rose mojito. Ragda with Tikki is sub-par. The outdoor ambience is really cheerful and the staff is good too so it is a place where one will have a nice experience.

Weekend at @ohrisindia . As it was weekend and good weather .The ohris at banjara hills eat more is rennovated with nice ambience and karaoak , we Ordered for arabita pasta , pav bhaji , bullseye , the pasta was amazing and the presentation was also good it was served with garlic bread , the pav bhaji was good it was chatpati and spicy too and giving taste of all spieces . Overall the food was very good and desert bullseye was lit . Ambience :4/5 Service: 3/5 Food :4/5 .

Good chaat. Excellent if you have Zomato Gold. But they use sweet dahi for most of the chaats, so no chaat is particularly spicy.

The place had a good ambience to it and food was , what i call 4/5 but the cost might bug you a bit. So try nearby 😁

I had a lunch that is tasty and in exact quantity that I could eat( usually too much food make me feel guilty of wasting food, which happens in all restaurants) I had kheema rice bowl. Rice bowl system is socially responsible menu item saving food wastage. I recommend all restaurants should start this item

Wanted to explore this since a long time, I ordered dabeli, pav bhaji and papdi chat. Food: I became a huge fan of their dabeli and pav bhaji... However papdi chat wasn't that great considering how dabeli raised the bars The truck was hygienic and the staff is polite.

I had chowpatti food after 5-6 year over here. I like taste so much and best part is that it's a very hygienic place. You will not be worried about your health. I'll recommend that let people sit inside in Ohri because it's hot outside these days.

Ohri's Chowpatti is located at the entrance of Ohri's Banjara Hotel on the left with Long Cooking Counters and Attractive Scooters on the table. Their CHAATOLOGY Menu is Fusionized with Indian Chaat's with Continental Style. We Started with Some Kadak Chai , It was good and the presentation was so good served in a kettle. Raj Kachori - It was amazing in taste with good amount Thick Dhai with sev and boondi. Paneer Makhani Fondue - The Mexican Masala Pav with Paneer Makhani was amazing in Taste. This is a must try From Ohri's Chowpatti. Pav Bhajji - The Pav Bhajji was scrumcipous with Buttery Aroma. The Pav was well prepared. Dabeli -Dabeli was so amazing with Roasted Crunchy Peanuts , sev , Mint Chutney and Spicy chutney , I didn't expected that it would be so good. This Dabeli made my day. Paan Ki Chaat - I have Tried this for the first time , This was so innovative with huge amount of dhai into it and with Flavourful Masala Chana Dal Idli with Arabiatta Puree - I think you can assume the taste how it would be , Not only the Assumption even the taste was so good. Need to be improved by adding more Puree. Dosa tacos with Thai curry - One of the best dish i have tried here . This is totally Fusionized with Indian and Continental. The Aloo Filling with Thai Curry was good and This was made with ghee which made a good Aroma. Delhi Chole Bhature - This was good and a must try dish at this place. I loved the Chole Curry which moderate in spiciness. Corn Tokri Chaat - A simple and tasty chaat served in a Moulded Papad. Pani Puri - The Aloo Stuffing was good along with Crispy Puri's ; Khatta Pani and Metha Pani can be improved by making it more flavourful. Spicy Papdi Chaat - The Papad's were crispy even though there is a lot of dhai into it but missed the spicyness. Batata Vada - It was a good but Need to be Improved :) Masala Puri - The Amount of stuffing is good but missed the Crispiness Desserts : Makhaniya Lassi & Mango Lassi - The taste was good but i would like to recommend to reduce the thickness of the Lassi ( it would be easy to drink ). Pista Kulfi and Paan kulfi - Both Kulfi's are tasted so good. This is Ohri’s food truck very near to Begumpet metro station, It is located near the entrance of Ohri’s Jiva And de thali. I had Raj kachori and dabeli from this place. I found both of them yummy. Raj kachori was stuffed with delicious fillings topped with many chutneys, and the most prominent chutney which was hitting the pallet was the sweet tamarind one, and I liked it. If you are a person with spicy food preference, make sure to convey the same to the chef, so that they can customise according to you. Dabeli, was also quite delicious, bun stuffed with potato patty and topped with delicious chutneys and

Chole Bhature<br/>~ A combination of Delicious Chole and Bhature/ Puri accompanied by Onions, Lemon and pickled green Chilli. Chole had an amazing spicy taste. Though the size of Bhatura was quite big it wasn’t Oily, and was perfectly fried.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Price : ₹250/- Approx.<br/>~ Decent Pricing for the taste that they provide. <br/>.<br/>.<br/>Taste: 4/5<br/>~ An amazing place for all Chat Lovers out there. Pani Puri here is also a Must try. I ordered raj kachori and pav bhaji. Raj kachori was good , pav bhaji did had a ton of butter but I didn't liket I felt like it was way too mashed up

Pav bhaji quantity is too less plus it was hot. Paneer Makhani Fondue was great.<br/><br/>We ordered one Schezwan Dosa and it was horrible.<br/><br/>There are far better chat places like Sweet Baskets, Dadu's, Maharaja Chat and Narsingh (in Abids) than this place.

I would say it is the best place for street food in Hyderabad. Everything being served here is too yummy and Prices are also minimal. Must visit place.

Gave my phone for zomato gold id. Person at the counter used it to enter a 5 star rating (see screenshot). I caught him red handed using my phone and zomato account and he had no regret. I don't trust zomato ratings of this place.

Raju was my waiter, he and the other staff were really cordial and took my orders and also reorder due to issues fast. And served well. Food also tasted well.

Since a long time wanted to have some pani puri, so happened to visit Ohris Chowpatti today with my family.<br/><br/>We tried:<br/>1. Pani Puri<br/>2. Palak Chat<br/>3. Pav Bhaji<br/>4. Mexican Pav with Paneer Makhani Fondue<br/>5. Butter Dosa.<br/><br/>Review: There were two stars in todays lunch menu, i.e., Mexican Pav with Paneer Makhani Fondue and Butter Dosa.<br/><br/>Mexican Pav's Paneer Makhani, is a unique combination of mexican flavours topped with tangy flavour coupled with cheese and butter. Totally worth your try. The presentation was also beautiful. Forgot to click the picture, sorry! :p<br/><br/>Butter Dosa served with coconut chutney and ginger chutney, tasted yumm. Coconut chutneys flavour was really unique, flavour of coriander out and out dominated it.<br/><br/>Palak Chat, was our first try and it was totally worth it.<br/><br/>In all, a yummilicious experience.
