This is one of my favourite place to go out for dinner with friends and family. This place has got an amazing ambiance with live music. The food is really amazing especially the sizzler. The staff is very professional. Expensive place but worth it. Food-5/5 Service-5/5 Ambiance-5/5

Beautiful place, very nice ambience, interiors are very good, place is quite silent. They have live music even on weekdays. As far as food is concerned we ordered quite a lot of dishes as we went for a family dinner and overall feedback was that good was really good. Mixed sauce pasta, paneer tikka, cheese balls, chicken wings were simply amazing Main course items were good. Again curd rice was too good. So overall a very nice place definitely little pricey but nice place to go if you are good food lover.

Decent place. Was little expensive. Taste was good but quantity was less and we get full bar access. May not get regular drinks but definitely we get the imported drinks. I was surprised to see the country side dish, Kamsupitta vepudu. If you are freak for different dishes, then Kamsupitta is must try dish. Also continental was good. And Italian pizza and breads were worth to note. And karaoke, live performance also available

Food was tasty. Mocktail was really good. The ambience is peaceful and lovely. I had a veg pizza, alfredo pasta wd chicken and i dont exactly remmbr tge mocktails name. There wr like 6 mocktail i got 1 of em. I went there like a month ago. Late review tho.

Good place.. So there is a pub as well as a restaurant side by side.. Resturant is a cosy place if you want to just chat and enjoy... The services are good... Food taste is above average

One of the best decorated places in hyderabad. Separate sections for DJs, Live Bands and outside for people who have come to sit and listen to each other and be mosquito food. Great choice of live bands. Food was awesome, so was the service. Vegetable Golden Cup is a must try!

Great place to visit really liked the ambience but it's more like a mix of the comfort homely environment and the urban culture the people their are well mannered and quite cooperative I was over all satisfied with food and Ambience

Food atmosphere is good it's only with the music that you will find mostly local Telugu most of the time but the place will do the justice it has three section to it and the bar is just too good to hang by it :)

Starters were really good in taste and quality. However the quantity is really less... The options in desserts are really less.. .. Service is good and welcoming... Good time spent there... So i have been here. It was the lunch time . Its a non-crowded place which i like. The place is beautiful with amazing interior and outdoor sitting. It has music to enjoy you’re time.

The food i ordered was the kurkure corn it was very spicy and the chicken tikka pizza was very nice and tasty,but the service was a bit longer.

First things first this place has like an elite bar cum restaurant as a separate place and music lounge separate. I haven’t enjoyed much here and the music sucked too.... food was okay and nothing out of the box. I’d say one time go only for the ambience

Asian chilli chicken - 375/-rs<br/>. 788 chicken wings - 375/-rs<br/>.<br/>Except Malai broccoli tikka everything was waste of money. Chicken was too hard and was so tasteless not how its supposed to be. Nachos weren't crispy atall. Asked the waiter to call the chef to make him taste if what kind of food was served and they kept saying whole time that chef was busy. I've been there on Thursday where the tables were not even half filled and if chef is really still busy!! What would it be if all the tables are full?? They made us wait almost 20min for each order. This is a beautiful place with great ambience ..<br/>And a low Music played in the background was very impressive ,This place was slightly expensive but worth it ,there were three partitions in this place we choose to sit in the backyard and it was good ,the staff really took very good care and they were very helpful . Decent place.. food was ok too.. nothing too great... but the service was pathetic! It took them close to 20 minutes to get the first starter out and by the time the last starter came.. it was time for last order.. Really needs to up their service game!

I had been here for a friends party. I was the only vegetarian on the table. As I didn't have any company to share food with . I decided on ordering something that's a little less to the stomach. After looking at the menu I felt like having the pizza. Ordered the classic margherita pizza and a mocktail. You also have an option to make your own pizza . #788 Avenue didn't dissapoint me . The food was good and the service also want not dissapointing.

The place was way below my expectations, very bad management, extremely bad service. We were promised premium liquor and served local liquor. Found this place to be a total waste of my money. Also feel cheated. If possible, would've given negative rating to this place. Highly disappointed.<br/>

I must have chosen a wrong day to visit this place. Liquor- not available, chef speciality- not available, must try- not available. I was looking forward to visit this place from a long time, but the unavailability of items, empty tables, dint quite make a good first impression. Shall give it a benefit of doubt and try again, since I heard a lot about the place. <br/>Although the barbecue chicken wings were 4/5, really good! Tried the chicken lettuce wraps, which dint look so good but weren’t so bad. The greek salad was an absolute disappointment. Terrible service:<br/>The staff is unaware of what is going on! As soon as I walked in, there was no waiter to guide me to a table. Once I asked for a waiter, they came. He was clueless. He didn’t speak proper English. <br/>As I sat down at my table, water wasn’t offered as it should be. Again, had to ask for it. When I asked for the menu card I was given just one even though it was clear that we were a group of 5. While taking the order, the waiter was unsure about the items on the menu and whether they were available that day. I was given only 4 plates and glasses for 5 members. The staff needs to be trained well. <br/><br/>Cleanliness:<br/>The side plates has dust/leftover food on it. The spoon wasn’t washed properly either. <br/>The place was filled with mosquitos and flies.<br/>The AC doesn’t work properly either.

#788 Avenue : My 50th review for this 'Once Favourite' place.<br/>When this place opened its doors last year, I was highly eager to visit it. And, this place exceeded my expectations- Prompt service, White n bright n beautiful decor( d likes of which were not seen in Hyd) & delicious food. Anything u pick from d menu- kebabs, cheese poppers, paneer curry, nachos -was outstanding. The Mongolian rice bowl was exceptionally delicious. I pulled along my family n friends to this place repeatedly. Alas, my experience was on a downward spiral after that.<br/>When u enter d place, it's d eye-catching decor that gives u d right vibes- books hanging from d ceiling, series of wall clocks,#backyard section- all done well.<br/>However, they r under-staffed at d moment. Many items like veg cups n cantonese soup were unavailable (weekend). It took them 50-60 mins to get corn kernels, which I knew were prepared in haste as they were a lil burnt.<br/>I re-ordered Mongolian rice bowl and it was nowhere close to what it was last year- disappointing.<br/>The staff is working hard but they need a mgmt rejig & more staff/chefs. Let me tell u, the place ws 3/4th full even on a Saturday afternoon.<br/>Plus, I saw a rat enjoying d sunny afternoon in d backyard & it killed my appetite completely!<br/>It actually breaks my heart to see how this place has killed its vibes- Consistency is d key & they have defaulted on this.<br/>Never going back unless they decide to pull up their socks & I hear good things.<br/>

Decided to visit this place after almost a year (all excited and eager after the previous experiences), but what a disappointment. A few items on the menu were not available. Ordered for a Cantonese soup, after half an hour, I was told that it too was not available. The crispy corn took an hour to be served ( that too with a hair in it). But they were kind enough not to charge for it. Ordered for a veg Mangolian meal bowl, which was again not how it's supposed to be. The rice was not fully cooked.<br/>Also happened to see tiny rats in the outdoor seating section. Definitely not visiting this place after this experience.<br/>

788 Avenue is located in a individual property in Rd Number 36, CBI Colony, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. A huge place is allocated for parking. This place is known for its unique and spectacular ambience. On the way from the entrance to the dining area, there are books hanging down the ceiling . We decided to sit outdoor. There we can see beautiful greenery, which is properly decorated and a pet named Hashtag!<br/><br/>We had Jalapeno Cheese Poppers which were creamy, cheesy and gently spicy ; Asian Golden Cups Chicken ( Chicken served in eatable crispy golden cups ) , Crisp fried Kajun Chicken (full of Cajun flavour and seasoned to perfection ) , Beer Battered Fish (delicious with super crispy batter) , Rock Shrimp Tempura (tender and melt-in-your-shrimp ) Potato Wedges (crispy in the outside and tender in the inside - mus try. presented in a tiny yellow coloured cart ).  All the dishes were upto the mark.<br/><br/>Food : 4.5/5<br/><br/>From the cocktails , we had #788 Aviation,  Cinnamon Blaze and a classic LIIT which was pretty decent.<br/><br/>Staff were very well trained in receiving and taking order; But the food was served late. <br/><br/>Overly Priced Menu!!

This is one good place with good theme, went here for lunch strictly followed the rule to go with veg ala-carte, ordered starters, sizzlers kind of food, food was good, well cooked, well served, management was well trained in recieving and taking order, food was served a bit late, but still for good food little bit of wait time is negotiable, desserts were good lot of colored small balls were sprinkled which gave a good taste. Overall Happy with the place. Sligtly prices can be brought down to target all sectors of people, will try non veg and get back with a review.

Zero hospitality , ambience and food great undoubtedly , but serving and communication is below zero. One isnt even bothered to even ask water or finger bowl to the present customers, for everything one has to pull one of the waiters or managers attention and waiting for 10 - 15 minutes . No specific attention to the resto/casual dining. One is always focused on the pub, no one bothered about the attended customer. Very disappointed with the service and hospitality. At the end to the surprise even the bill is given wrong (added wrong item) . Totally dissapointed with the communication and responsibilities.

The worst place to hang out and they ruined my brothers bday dinner ...their sound system literally gave ear ache .... I purposely booked table in this place for the Sarigam Project band ... they came late first of all and they started practicing ..even @10.30 p.m. they haven’t started their performance becoz of the sound system fault ... and top of that they have one waiter for 7-9 tables ... we have to wait 40 mins to get one French fries ... Service is too bad too pathetic I wanted to give zero rating..definitely not visiting again...

This is a very classy place. I love the entrance. The ambience is perfect. Very chic and classy. Coming to the food, i tried their jalapeno cheese balls and  Tai pei chicken. Loved their jalapeno cheese balls. But tai pei chicken was a bit sweet. It was nice but I would prefer my starters spicy. The only thing we enjoyed there was the sarigam band. Drinks were bland. Nachos was good. It took many reminders for the wedges to arrive which tasted bad. The staff is super slow and rude. I was surprised when they said their system is not working to print the bills!! On a saturday night! After insisting many times he agreed to finally give the printed bill .. and they had put extra item which we never ordered. He almost forced us to take that item instead of giving back our money. Finally he had to budge as the restaurant was closing down. The staff is very lazy and not bothered about the customers including the managers. I saw my neighbouring tables complaining too.

Decided to visit 788 Avenue after seeing the reviews on Zomato. We went for a team lunch and decided to sit in the backyard since the weather was good.<br/>The food is amazing. The service is also very decent. The drinks are priced on the higher side though.<br/>The experience was however spoiled by the flies which attacked the table as soon as the food arrived!!

Visited this place on a weekday, they have indoor and outdoor seating options, place was empty as it was a weekday, the ambience is calm, good interiors,they have good interiors, the menu was good, the food is ok but service is not so good with quite long wait times even on weekdays.

Amazing place, good vegetarian spread, the veg platter was amazing, and the exotic veg pizza and spicy garlic noodle were good too. Along with a Good calm & cosy ambience with live band, and prompt service, we would go with a 5 star rating.

Went on a date with bae. Surprisingly Everything about that place felt right, it was definitely cosy but coming to the food I've ordered one of their best chicken stroganoff and was a bit let down. Chicken was little hard and mashed potatoes were a little cold.<br/>The wine collection and drinks menu is definitely what you'll all be looking for, pricing is a little on the high side. Amazing Ambiance, Above average food and Amazing service.<br/><br/>#788 was on my must visit places in Hyderabad. The pathway to the restaurant is mesmerising with a very different thought off theme giving vibes of a peaceful place and it did lived upto it. There was a solo artist singing mix of hindi and English songs.<br/><br/>Me and my friends occupied the seats at the backyard. We ordered: Veg- Panner tikka<br/>Non veg- Chicken 65, Chicken wings, Lamb chops, Chilli Chicken.<br/>Along with mocktails like cindrella, lemonade and virgin mojeto.<br/>Later ordered White pasta and Chicken tikka pizza.<br/>Overall the food tasted above average and quantity was poor.<br/>Welcoming staff and good service weren't above to make up for the taste.<br/><br/>I will surely visit the place again to enjoy its peaceful ambiance and good service.

The entrance to the dining area is intriguing with books hanging down the ceiling and mysterious paintings on the wall. We went out in a family group of eight and found a decent place outdoors. <br/><br/>We started with a clear veg soup, mutton and mint shorba and Lemon Coriander soup. The starters were Jalapeno Cheese poppers, 788 Chicken Wings and a couple of veg as well as chicken kebabs. I liked the soups. The starters were quite okay. Indian main-course was better than expectations. We had Yakhni pulao - though yakhni was far from kashmiri flavors, it was still good. Rara chicken was something everyone on the table liked. Veg dishes were good. <br/><br/>I loved the artists who were performing mild pop with just a female vocal and one guitarist. The music was soothing and their covers were wonderful - yet to know the name of the band/artists as I would like to listen to them again.<br/><br/>Would recommend the place. Would visit again.

Amazing place with great ambience, weekends there is mostly a band for live music and the food is very taste the barbecue chicken wings is a must to try. The front yard is the best to click pictures. There is a pet macaw called as ‘hashtag’ it’s a very friendly and lovely one❤️💯

The food is quite underwhelming especially for the price it is offered at. This used to be my favorite place when it was N Grill but now it’s just disappointing. The waiters were rude too.

Setup is nice, music was nice when we went and food was decent and decently priced too, however the service was just astonishingly poor. It really is such a shame that such a well set up place could give you such a downtrodden experience. Staff is utterly disorganized, has no sense of fine dine service and was just clueless 90% of the time. After a disturbing 60 minutes of food and beverage service, the bill took 25 minutes to reach us and came in incorrect - no surprises there. After giving up on any expectation of thoughtfulness from the staff, the owner finally came to the rescue and saved the day by waiving our bill. I feel for you, good sir, but you really have some serious work to do to get this place to where it deserves to be!

The ambience was good and decent as the entrance of the ceiling was covered with full of books which is highlet of this place. Compared to food, We didn’t find any great dishes. Very pricy. I recommend to reserve a table before visiting the place.

We ordered a bottle and waited for 40 min and management is least bothered. And at the end they are least bothered about the customer not even a apologies<br/>

So called "way to hell" if you want to experience it, go to this place. I went to 788 with my friend, they kept us waiting for more then half an hour to take order and when I asked waiter to take orders he asked to " walk out of the place" as if he does not care about the customers, we were disrespected. I never expected that I would get road side restaurant experience by visiting 788.

Very bad experience. Paid for food items I didn't want to eat . Overpriced stuff and they don't have proper staff who knows TELGU, , english or hindi. <br/>Even after calling manager he didn't turn up.

One star rating is a bit too much for this place, the first time I went they double booked our table of 18, even though I reserved the table a day in advance, and the second time I went they had a so called ‘cover charge’ which is not a cover charge!!! They had a fixed menu of a beer whiskey vodka and some starters! The waiters were rude and served as though they did a favour! Not going back for sure and wouldn’t recommend it either!

More than half of the menu items are not available. After ordering something from the menu, they come back and say its not available too, order something else.<br/>Every order takes looooong tiiime to be served.

Went for one of the Capricio events. Ambience is one of the best in Hyderabad. Food tastes good. It's only the sound system that was a little dampener for me. Else it would have been a 4.

This was engrill earlier and now redone and rebranded. The food and ambience without a doubt are good. We ordered the malai broccoli grill, chicken tikka pizza and Korean chicken lettuce wraps which were delicious. However the drinks were not as great. The ambience is decent with an indoor and outdoor seating. We had gone there for lunch but there is a live band playing in the evening. The lettuce served with the wraps were not as fresh and succulent which would have made the wrap even tastier.

The restaurant ambience is very nice n the Food was also hygienic and delicious price is high but it's negliable because the taste and ambience deserves this

Hello team, I went with our friends group and while we were getting impressed with the ambience and feel, we realized that as we were ten, they arrange our table outside where there was only fan and no AC. We requested the manager there but in vain.<br/><br/>It has been a worst experience with your restaurant.

We went to this place on a Saturday night to watch the band-Capricio perform live. If you are a tollywood fan and love telugu music, trust me you cannot find a better choice. Place was packed and the band lit the crowd. Do give it a try :)

Table reservation was denied and we were asked to pay entry fee of ₹1000 per person because some band happened to be performing at the same time.

A nice place to sit down and enjoy food. The live music was nice and soothing. Special mention : malai broccoli- that was easily the most innovative yet surprisingly mindblowing thing I’ve ever had. The pasta was very creamy and just divine. And the walkway is perfect for pictures.

Lovely Ambience! We tried to order varied kinds of food. All tasted great! Polite service and Yeah! Don't miss to see the talking parrot here😄

This place has a lot of hype. Well it does match up to the hype. Classy interiors and great food. Service is very good. Overall it was a nice experience!

Stumbled into this place accidentally while going somewhere else and what a delightful surprise it was. The ambience and the interior decoration is really cool. This is a place where you can enjoy awesome food and drinks along with great live music without the hassle of large crowd.

To give life to the city on a sunday is what #788 did.<br/>The band definitely makes the evenings there. But the food and drinks are worth the go as well.

Been to this place only for capricio, nothing great to talk about as it’s almost same as N grill which used to be here before. Slow service and expensive stuff makes it an average place.

The ambience of this place is good, especially the walk way with hanging books to the ceiling and a world clocks to wall.... <br/>coming to food we ordered Cantonese soup it was 👌🏻 and Asian golden cup chicken was excellent but tawa fried fish was bit salty and lamb shank was not tat great so for food I will rate 3star <br/>Drinks we ordered cocktails in that pisco was good but aviation was not that great <br/>Last but not least service it was okay

Went to this place on a Sunday as capricio was playing here. <br/><br/>They had selected drinks such as Hoegarden, Corona, Glenfidicch, Chivas and other premium brands. Though the menu had many other options, only the premium brands were available to order. <br/><br/>We anyhow ordered the LIITs - which were way too diluted and seemed more of syrup with water! 😂<br/>Avakai chicken tikka was tasty which was the only appetiser that we had ordered. <br/><br/>Go to this place only if you want to listen to some old telugu songs played by the live band capricio! <br/><br/>Too expensive on the pocket 💵

I had gone there to celebrate my cousins birthday party. the waiter assigned to us was the rudest person, he left no hopes for us to just enjoy the dinner. the service was pathetic. the attitude was waiter was at a level where he did not even want to respect the customers. the cake was bought by us and after dinner as the cake was bought to us. the waiter asked us to first leave the restraint cause he said that they won't allow cutting the cake. later over request we were allowed to cut our own cake. being the staffs responsibility to provide cutlery., the waiter back answered saying that he won't be providing anything from plates to spoons for serving or consuming the cake. really disappointed and humiliated. would suggest to go there if you want to get humiliated or a Disturbed mind.

Been here for a food tasting session and almost tasted everything from the menu<br/>This place has some live music in the evenings and you get amazing food <br/>We came here as a group of bloggers,the chocolate tiramisu that I had is one of the best desserts ever I cannot forget the baileys cake too<br/>And the main course items were pretty yummy <br/>If I had to mention something then it’s the cute French fries in a truck and then the bell pepper rice and then the pizza and the pasta<br/>I’d give you a heads up,amazing place!!!

This place is so bloody dead and we still get charged a cover fee of 1500 bucks per person. That is just the beginning of the horror this place delivers. You walk in and you are told that the cover fee only covers all the shit drinks and shit food on the menu. The icing on the cake is the food tastes like shit.

We went to the drinks section or the so called pub area of #788. The most poorly managed service ever. The management just doesn’t know how to manage a crowd that goes berserk after a few drinks, plus, we were made to clear the bill even when we had more to order! And our next order was never tended to! I’m never going back to this place, and wouldn’t recommend it to anybody who would expect efficient service! <br/>PS: They really need to work on the seating and the space available!

So I visited this place on my birthday. I was accompanied by 7 more people. As it's a lil huge number we were alloted to sit in the backyard. Where it's a lil open space with long tables to accommodate huge crowds. The whole place has lil less lighting. Food was really good. We ordered pizzas, pastas, tikkas, garlic bread, and rice items too. Rice items took ages to be served but the wait was really worth. As it was a bday party I was least bothered about the prices. But at the end I stepped out as a happy customer :)

Worst service, rudest staff I've ever experienced at a restaurant. I won't suggest it to anyone. The food is fine but there is no point when the staff is not courteous.

I ended up with up my girls after hopping to one cafe before this. We had a nice Sunday evening with good ambience, food specially Thai Curry (its not in the picture so don’t look for it😜) and drink was amazing.

The service was not efficient at all. <br/>The behaviour of the staff was unappreciable.I would advise to improve on their service and hire staff who are well-trained and if I ask about something on the menu they should be in a position to explain properly. <br/>The service staff got the bill before we even finished the main course!!! Did they want us to get out ? <br/><br/>The only thing nice about this place was the ambience.

A very nice place with a pathetic management who are very biased. Have to beg to get a table and beg again to get the car from the valet. Definitely not coming back.

Amazingly renovated place from<br/>N grill. Good place with good music and some really lipsmacking food. <br/><br/>Had to spend little less time here but whatever I've had, it was toothsome. I had crispy corn for my veg buddy, classic fish n chips for me. We paired it up with all time fav beers. Though I was there for less time, I want to say if you are searching for a good dark loud place with amazing food, this can be in the list. Service was also decent.

I called the manager in the morning are the stags allowed into club... He clearly told me that you come down sir. . no problem .. I had a flight that catch. . I came down with luggage. .. after reaching their .. the guy says. .. stags are not allowed ....

It's one of the beautiful places I have been. I enjoyed time with cuckatoo.. I really had good time with my gurl. Nice drinks as well. Good place and nice live music as well.

Adding one star because 0 is not acceptable on Zomato. <br/>To begin with, we had a reservation in this place for a special occasion and the receptionist was very courteous in accepting it and even informed us about the live band that'll be performing over there, telling us that they'll be performing in Telugu, and if that's okay with us. Reserved for 7:30 pm on a Friday night.<br/>Cut to when we reached there- the ambiance hasn't been changed much to when the place was N-Grill, by the virtue of which it scores a point in that domain. <br/>But boy the service! - Absolutely un-hospitable place. We were asked to wait even after reaching on time at the venue because the band was practicing and "how can we disturb the band?"- as said by the totally rude manager with an annoyed tone. He didn't even have the reservation list and started blaming the person who took reservations, saying that it was not his responsibility to arrange us a table now and that it'd be only first come first serve basis. When we decided to wait in the open area of the restaurant, the head waitress started staring at us with  poker face and lack of interest clearly visible. She sat us down without any acknowledgment of the situation or even a word of assurance. while we were waiting there for almost 25 minutes (it was 7:50 by now) no one tended to us- even though the place was not busy and the waiters were moving about right in front of our table. We decided to give one last try before leaving the place and went to the area where the band was supposed to play- where we had our original reservation- only to find that we wouldn't be allowed inside (it was 8:15 by now), since the band was "still practicing". almost 20 other people were waiting around us. I've been to numerous places where live bands perform and never heard this excuse for not allowing the customer in and making them stand practically in the parking!<br/>Somehow we got in (8:30 pm) and guess what, we were given 3 separate tables (we were a team of 6, as we had clearly mentioned while making reservation), which couldn't be joined together as they were round and on steps; and asked to sit on them as the tables which could actually and wholly accommodate 6 people were booked "3 days before". Well, of course, such amazing restaurant, people make reservations before 3-4 days. When asked why we weren't told about all of this when we made reservation, the super rude manager started saying either we sit there or can move to the other side of the restaurant, also hinting that we can probably leave. Guess what, we did. <br/>Utter disregard for customers, absolutely un-courteous staff and complete miss-management in busy hours makes this place a total NO GO for me. Would recommend the same.
