Review Dum Pukht Begum’s - Hyderabad

Mixed feelings about the place. Heard great things from the locals. Tough to get reservations, but worth waiting for it. The food was amazing, flavorful and worth every bit of wait. The service seemed very spotty, the waiter took the order, dropped the food off and showed up for the bill. Pretty basic service in my mind but maybe the food is so good that service is secondary. Ambience is great, you feel like you are in a palace. expensive, but worth a try.

The entrance to the restaurant was grand and the dining hall wasn’t that grand. Food is strictly hyderabadi/nizami. So if you have come with fully blown out Indian menu in mind, wont get it.saag was sour, veg options are less and 0 vegan dishes. My cousins who are vegans were disappointed as they had nothing to order at 1st. Eventually after lot of discussion the chef appeared and took the order. It was nice of the chef to make few dishes out of the menu. Won’t rate those dishes. The mutton biriyani was excellent, i was mind blown, it was that good. Service by Mayur was fantastic, he was around us throughout. All other staff members were polite too. For what we ended up paying(too high) i would say it was good if not great. I would overall rate it between 3.5 to 4, nothing fantastic nothing bad. Definitely take your gf/family once for a classy treat.

Visited on 1st November 2021. Great place to be with family and friends. Prior reservation recommend for seamless dinning experience. Arriving early will allow you to choose from the best available table and seating area options. Ambiance is amazing and the music in the background adds cherry on the top of it. Had a pleasant experience while dinning and the service was excellent and equally matched with the quality and taste of food. Love the touch less experience for menu by the QR code scanning and same while making the payment. Love to visit the place again and enjoy the best dinning services available in current times. Safety well maintained, sanitized adding to the great experience.

Lovely service by Rahul and Pratima at Dum Pukht Begum, we tried Kakori kabab and dum pukht biryani, both dishes demonstrated the perfection of Awadhi cuisine.

Amazing and Authentic place to visit with family & frnds atleast once.Need to book the table 1 week in advance, If the table is reserved on your name, lucky you 😉. I have been to this place on 25th Dec with my childhood frnds, we enjoyed the food a lot. From the list we ordered Marag, Dum Phukt Kakori and Dum Phukt Biryani are excellent. My best is Dum Phukt Kakori, top rated dish made of lamb,with diff spices and zafran. It is so soft, was melting in my mouth once I tasted it. It is one of my best dish till now. I forgot to take the pic, as I got involved in eating more 🤣 Prattima was helping and serving the food. Excellent person, who knows how to treat the guest in best way and infact she suggested best food combinations at Dum Phuk. Thank you!!!

One of the best Premium restaurant we've been to. The ambience is calm and royal, the lighting bright and beautiful. Food is divine. Every bite gives you foodgasm, so delicious. ➖❎ However, the prices are sky high for the quantity provided. I understand that's it's a high five spot, but still the prices are way too high. Anyway, we had a great time and enjoyed our dinner.

What a place, an absolute gem of Hyderabad located at ITC kohenur. The place offers avadhi style cuisine along with extremely beautiful interiors. We stayed at ITC kohenur and realized the restaurant was on the 10th floor, couldn’t resist to try out their food after reading the reviews and seeing pictures of interiors. We ordered DP seekh nilofari kebab (vegetarian) and tarkari pulao (vegetarian), both the menu items tasted extremely rich, loved the flavors, the mint chutney given along the side was amazing. Also, they served mojito which was fantastic in taste. Since they offer avadhi cuisine, the food can only be made mild or medium spicy but not extremely spicy, so please keep in mind to talk to the server about the spice levels.The place has a romantic vibe and overall, the experience was great. If you are in Hyderabad and looking to have good food, I recommend this restaurant, a must visit!

Dum Pukht is a great restaurant with fantastic Nawabi cuisine. Food was superb and the service was excellent. Especially Saloni, our server, was attentive, quick and made our experience a delightful one. Highly recommend!

Authentic cuisine for Dum biryani which you can tell by the aroma of the saffron in the dishes. Perfect for couple dates. Elegant ambience with traditional cutlery.

Yesterday's birthday celebration of my home ministry ;) at "Dum Pukht Begums" - ITC Kohenur ITC kohenur always amazed with their beautiful lobby & massive chandeliers - but to Dum Pukht this is my first visit .. loved the entry path with straight hallway and the seating too Service is top notch right from taking the reservation by calling back, arranging a complimentary birthday cake, even food recommendations everything is well executed and pampered ( reading google reviews on missed reservations and multiple follow-ups had some apprehensions but everything was well handled ) Taste wise liked some dishes and some fell flat too Among the dishes we tried loved - Marag, Murgh Chand tikka, Seb Zameeni ( beetroot stuffed potato patties ), Asaf jahi murgh qqrma, Mande ( whole wheat bread in rumali style) Which fell flat - Asifia badami aloo do pyaaza ( baby potatoes gravy curry ) - felt a bit sour either lots of tomatoes in gravy ... Kulfi Badshah pasand - okish Overall great experience and one more restaurant ticked off in my list Missed to try their set menu ( need min 4 pax to order it )

Had dinner at this place serving authentic awadhi cuisine.. pathar ka ghost, marag soup and naan costed me around Rs. 2.3K, as booked from eazydiner got a complementary dessert per diner. Ambience and service is upto the mark but prices are too much!.

Visited this place for dinner,the food was full of flavours each dish has a unique taste.would like to mention Mayur and Romia for an amazing hospitality especially Mayur who explained the menu to us and recommended us the food which we really enjoyed my parents loved the flavours of dum Pukht biryani. Mayur was so humble and kind to us he made us feel very special and will definitely come back to this place.

Had the best Biriyani ever Will recommend this excellent restaurant to people who want to unwind and relax.Chef Mumtaz gave us amazing recommendations. Service by Rahul, Romia and Pratima was excellent will definitely come back again. The hostess Barnali was also courteous.

Visited Dum Pukht Begum in ITC Kohenur for Lunch, the food was full of flavour nd each dish has its unique flavour nd taste. I highly recommend this fine dine restaurant. From the list i order Dum Pukht Kakori nd Dum pukht Biriyani which was literally tasty and mouth watering.The behaviours of staffs and Chef's are very polite . Chef Mumtaz was very good nd excellent person, who knows how to treat the guest in best way. He suggested the best combination of food. THANK U CHEF❤️

Awesome ambience, looks like a palace. Wonderful place to visit with friends and family. Dum Pukht Begum serves Nizam’s flavours.A bit costly, veg food is average and not sure about non-veg. One should reserve a table before visiting to avoid waiting.
