Buy tickets using the scan code (available near the ticket counter) and avert the waiting. Beautiful location and views. The fort is huge and needs ~2-3 hours to cover. Have a good incline to reach the top, a warm-up workout for hikers 😉

It's a nice place to experience the old architecture. It's big and will take some time to explore completely. It has some good points where you can get good pictures clicked. You will have to walk a lot if you want to get to the top and witness the beautiful sunset. We made it on time and witnessed the sunset. The view is amazing. You can see the city from there. It has multiple spots to get some good pictures clicked. It also has a temple which you can visit. You can find shops selling water, juices and snacks at some dedicated points so no need to carry anything. A very photogenic place just don't litter there, put stuff in the bins which you'll find multiple places within the campus.

A must visit place to visit due to its historical significance. You should visit the fort in day time and avoid entering it after 4pm as the fort closes at 5.30pm in the evening. You will need around 2 to 3 hours and keep some food handy with you, you will not get anything except drinking water at the fort. It is recommended to visit during the second half of the day and then continue with a sound and light show at the fort to know its rich cultural history.

The fort is situated on a granite hill, the inner fort contains palaces, and mosques and there is a hill top pavilion. Most of these palaces and mosques are in ruins now, but still depict the magnificence of this place. If you are in Hyderabad, then you mustn't miss this place. There is a light and sound show in the evening. You can take the light and sound show tickets at around 5.30 PM. Paid parking is available, and parking fee is Rs. 50/-. Entry fee for this fort is Rs. 25/- per head and free for children. Also they only take cash for tickets, UPI or card payment not available, also they expect exact ticket amount, so one need to carry exact change.

A nice historical place that is well maintained. It is quite a big place and the remains of the fort are spread across. One can walk from one end to the other on the neatly paved paths. Reaching the top is a physical exercise in itself. One can rest when tired of climbing the steps and then move on. At the highest point one can get breathtaking views of the city of Hyderabad if the visibility is good. In the evening, the sunset view is beautiful as well. The entry gate closes 30 minutes before the sunset. Guides are available near the gate.

One of the largest fort I have visited till. The fort is very big and it took us 3 hours to explore completely. There will be lot of guides infront of the gate to tell about the history of Golconda, but you have to pay them. Seeing the architecture and the stone walls and forts were 10 times beautiful than in the History books. The fort is well maintained and there is shops inside where you will get refreshments. The top view is so amazing like exactly a birds view of the fort. There is also a small temple inside. If you are in Hyderabad, this is a must watch. We will learn so much about our history and the culture.

The place is a bit too crowded. The way in was heavily jammed! But the fort in general! The lore around it and how new parts were added by newer Sultan's as per convenience. There is a lot of walking around as you explore this ruined but well preserved fort and it's amazing history!

Magnanimous place. Beautiful. The ticket counter closes at 5:30 PM. But once you have the ticket you can go in and visit the place until 7. Built on a massive piece of land. Very strategic design and architecture. Has many historical tales associated with the fort. I suggest taking a guide to the fort. Slowly move to the top, you'll see the sparkling Hyderabad from there, wrapped in lights if you are at the top around the evening. In the evening there are multiple shows portraying the fort's history.
