To start with the positives, the food tastes delightful and the service is prompt. If these two factors are ticked many would rate a restaurant higher. To me what can be improved would be the ambience and the cleanliness. There are no complaints on the quality of food, but the wash basin is not well maintained. If you are looking for a quiet meal, this is not the place. You would often be startled by someone screaming!

Homely atmosphere... Punjabi food... If you like stuffed parathas, then this is the place worth trying... They also serve Chicken paratha... Curd served here is of superb quality, not with malai, but it is like ice cream, very creamy, chunky (not frozen)... the paratha, achaar, and curd combo is the best... Price is not very high, it is reasonable... A meal for 3 would cost around ₹400...

A good place to have local north indian food in hyderabad. Paranthas, dal tadka and butter roti are specially awesome. Decor and ambience are also ok for the price. Worth a visit if you crave for north indian food in hyderabad.

Despite of seeing many negative reviews for this restaurant I decided to give it a try which wasn't so pleasant and later I tried it once again and this time i called the restaurant before and after placing the online order requesting them not to repeat same errors again but the restaurant tean which is too hard to find on phone are least bothered to talk to customers about their order even after keeping call on long hold. The food packing and rice quality is my main concern here which doesn't seems to be rectified even upon requesting. The rice is thick and hard as stone which was just not edible both the times. Despite paying for pulav I get regular white rice which is hard to consume

I wish they learn to cook beyond Rice and Daal. All paneer curries taste same only colours differ a bit. Looks like the owners are punjabi but hope they name the dishes better. What you name Shahi Paneer is not Shahi Paneer. Jeers Aloo doesn’t have dozens of green chilly. It’s just jeera and aloo with salt and may be couple of spice powders. So please stop fooling us by multiple dishes on menu with same taste.

Online Order . I think this place has been under rated in zomato. I ordered Dal Makhani Combo in which two rotis, green pea rice, gulab jamun, dal makhani and one mix veg curry. To be honest the combo was too good, The quantity of rice was quite good, among all the menu in this combo i liked the mix veg curry most. Dal makhani was a bit watery so i didnot liked much. The order was perfectly packed and was on time. Very much pocket friendly.

This place once used to be very good but in recent days it's becoming worse...just today I ordered Shahi paneer in which I got mashed paneer in a spicy curry...I mean how is that a Shahi paneer....they are just trying to give anything that they want nothing more.

Worst place. They were selling 35 rupess Pepsi for 45. When we asked for reason they said if you want it pay 45 otherwise leave it. Very irresponsible and harsh behavior. Not at all customer friendly Nd they don't respect customers. I don't recommend these kind of ridiculous restaurants. Very cheap behavior.

Sorry for the review but i had to, previously also i visited this place about 5-6 times but i never had such a bad experience. This time i had ordered online and the chicken i got in Boneless Chicken Butter Masala is very hard and the gravy is tasting like a Tamarind soup. Usually we see this in Fish curry. Chicken pieces are as hard as Paragon slippers. We hardly eat the pieces. Phulkas were good but the curry's are terrible. Very bad experience this time.

It was the first visit to hotel. Time was 10.30PM.<br/>Worst Experience I had ever had.<br/>1. We sat on a table and ordered food. Later we found many mosquitoes biting us and forced to change the table just under the fan. We eagerly waited for food about 30 minutes( To prepare 6 roti, 1 veg kadai). After 30 minutes another guy came to us asking to place order and we replied to him that order was already placed to another guy. Now both of them are refusing to bring the order saying that table is not mine, and started asking us why did you guys changed your place and I have not taken the order. Such an irresponsible staff.<br/><br/>Also they cheat customers saying that u will get 10 pieces of Chicken lollipop and bringing only 5 onto the table and even that costs 150 rupees .<br/><br/>Chicken was roasted in deep black colour and pieces were really dry. Worst quality and high pricing. No genuinity at all.<br/><br/>I finally say this restaurant is really to cheat customers and the owner is also really least bothered of what is happening inside the kitchen.

I paid by card then got the merchant slip, i offered it back to the lady at counter stating this is yours she first denied then took it suddenly from my hand and threw it away. I like food from gurnihal foods. But this achari chicken was made with just chopped onions and mixed achar! What an ATYACHAAR! Sorry, but I had to add some ginger garlic paste, cumin, and garam masala to make it edible. And even then the big squares of onions were just irritating. Also, zomato should help the restaurants to add details of the dish so that the customers can make informed decision. Jaan bhujh ke ye Atyachaar chicken kaun mangwata hai?

I really liked the taste. I ordered Tomato Chilli and Plain Paratha.<br/>The parathas were very soft and properly fried. I felt like home after eating them. I also liked the number of option you get in the menu.<br/>Tomato Chilli was very hot and spicy. I liked the way the pieces of Capsicum, Onions and Tomato were added to the gravy.<br/>Overall it was a good experience. I would like to order often from Gur Nihal.

I ordered chicken fried rice which had some sort of smell. The chicken pieces were in it clearly left out from a curry which has been diced and sliced eventually mix in the rice. Both rice and chicken has had curry like Yellow color and didn't smell very good. I had it for dinner and did not feel good since then. Not recommend at all, effected my stomach for a bad. Felt completely uneasy.
