Review Red Rose Restaurant - Hyderabad

Puri aloo curry is good here for breakfast. Irani chai is too sweetened. Pay UPI or cash at the cash counter only. Check the prices of the items before paying. Waiters will scam u especially if u don't look like a local

Here for sarvi haleem. All we know about Red rose is that it's a famous cafe located just near to the irrum manzil metro station & also located beside the famous AIG hospital. Here one can't doubt its famous Irani tea. Obviously they are great at tea and snacks related at that price point imo. We used to go there every Ramzan season just to have sarvi haleem over there. But this time it is an above average kind of feeling regarding the taste & consistency of haleem. Every time it used to be so delicious. This time it's missing. But it's not their fault I guess it's of sarvis as they provide the haleem. But here you also get veg meals option for 60 rupees I guess. Overall it's a good cafe which is at the center of the city and also it's a vintage cafe which serves excellent Irani chai ☕.

Cheap and Best hangout place for chitchat with tea and snacks with friends or for couples (not for hifi people). Since last more than 15 years this is one of our best hangout place near around panjagutta / irramangil. Inside the hotel/ cafe looks there is no smoking area so even couple or ladies can sit. During last 10 to 15 years many local irani chai / tea cafes are closed near the locations of Panjagutta and Ameerpet, however this cafe is still running but with lot of changes in tea taste (earlier it was more good with true irani flavour) Best time - Any time. Prices - Reasonable. Tea - 15 (As on 10th October 2022) Small samosa - 5 rupees All other snack items are available like biscuits and bonda etc... Good parking place is available for car and bike. (You can park your car, small line road, you can see the picture) but be careful there is no parking board is placed 😊

Good tea. They provide all kinds of snakes, Irani lassi and Irani faluda. Veg meals and juices. Good service 👍🏻 . They use all their own products.

1.Had irani chai it was good in taste but felt milk content was less but overall good to taste. 2.Had samosa stuffing for good but layer of samosa was bit hard when we had them. 3. Ambience is not so great for family/dine in

Very nice place to visit, Food taste also good, Very wide place for sitting, Easy to reach as it on beside to road, But difficult to locate for new visitors as it located under metro station Overall experience is good. Can try for good tea and snacks and to have good time.

Meals are good i wont say best but near the NIMS hospital it is the good one.. it is exactly opposite to NIMS, we need to cross the road. 1 dall, 2 curries, sambar, rice, papad, curd. We won't get extra curd, even if you are ready to pay for it. Curd lovers/eaters can keep this in mind. I asked for curd rice it was not available. Not sure if it is daily or only that day. Service and all good. Better take a water bottle.

Such a different varieties of buns and snacks.. The tea was awesome..

This is the closest irani cafe to my home, so I keep visiting here frequently and my review might also sound biased. But man their chai is too good, it's kadak and not extra sweet, just how I like it. I also buy a lot from their bakery section, they have different kinds of bread, buns and shirmals. I've heard great reviews about their poori bhaji as well, but never really dared to try it.

Had the Faluda and some Mysore Vada here. The Faluda was good and the fritter while hot was not as good. The service was good and fast. Overall, the place is good to go for a faluda if you are in the area and are craving some.

The road next the restaurant is named after it as Red Rose Cafe Road. It left a great impression on me and I decided to give it a try.

I was welcomed on a "not clean" table where my ancestors have left their mark with "tea wet cup bottom" from different ages. I wished to leave my mark as well and ordered tea. There was a option as "Super Tea" which got my attention but I checked my curiosity.

The tea came as a thick yellowish liquid in a cup, partially merged in tea filled plate (for me to leave my mark on the historic table). I discovered the Super Tea as the same tea with more milk, which means it is more thick to leaver a greater impression on the table.

My wife ordered a special lassi. It was very sweet lassi served in a plastic use-and-throw glass. It was topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which was the speciality.

I am still looking for the person who dared naming the road next to the restaurant after it.

The only best thing in this hotel is the irani chai and the onion samosas.....They are really good.....As it is cafe ambience is at it's least as expected.....Many people come here for hanging out with their colleague's...Time pass and Relaxation spot over the employees working in that area.
This place is just a kilometre away from central, punjagutta. It is known for its irani chai and Osmania biscuits. Go for this place only if you are a chai lover and if you do not care about the ambiance. There are cats and mice moving around the cafe all the time.
Sonu
Red Rose Restaurant is located opposite to Erramanzil bus stop. This is one of my favourite Cafe, love their irani chai and snacks. I also tried haleem during ramzan which was average.Nothing to talk about ambience because it's cafe and this place is crowded most of the time.

RED ROSE Cafe (as far as I know)is 30-40+ yrs old err young and still going strong.

Though I reside very close to this place, have been here only once till date as its always crowded with people which I'm not quite comfortable with. Not a Tea person so didnt have d famous Irani Chai yet. :-|

However, my dear ones manage to get Osmania Biscuits, Mini Samosas, Dilkush, Dilpasand for me. I love mini (onion) samosas the most. :)

Legendary !

Located outside the late to Asian Institute if Grastroentrology in Erramanzil... Is one of those old Irani chai places.

Breakfast : Puri, Chai. The Puri is served with spicy korama.

All day : Chai + Osmsnia biscuit + Chote Samosa

The chote samosas are Onion based.

The aloo samosas are good too, but the chote are better. The dilkhush and dilpasand are usually fresh because of the volume.

Hygienic on Chai joints standards.

On the punjagutta road this irani resturant is a sure stop over for me.
They serves really good samosa ,poori and much more bakery stuffs like egg puffs, veg puffs, tie buiscuits etc..
My favourites are the samosa and osmania buiscuits ..
Tea is their USP as they serve the typical irani chai ..
Standing as one of the oldest Irani cafes in the city it keeps the panjagutta cafe culture alive. Most visitor are repeat offenders for ofcourse the irani chai as well as the most famous Falooda here. Along with tea, coffee, Lassi, Falooda and biscuites, you can also try Onion Samosa, Mirchi Bajji, Kebabs, Tikkas, Punjabi , chinese etc.

I had been to Asian institute of gastroenterology where my uncle had come for test and doctor visit. By the time he was in all the tests. I was feeling hungry as didn't had anything from morning. I went here saw people eating puri sabji so thought of having it. I was sitting at one place saw so many waiters but all seem to be very busy. Somehow caught hold of one person he bought me poori and tea .
Though service pretty fast didn't like the poori was more oily as well as curry.
The tea was excellent
Overall the way it is built like we see in Mumbai for office people having tea break and snacks
Food 3/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 3.5/5

When u r in hyd u ought to visit this cafe.. #red rose Don be fooled by the word cafe , this is a small corner tea stall for short eats .. But what u need to try here is "Irani chai" and osmani biscuits ... The rich creamy taste of the chai and the concept of dipping the already softest biscuits I have seen ... Amazing ..... !!!! U ll not complain on the ambience after U take ur first sip and bite here .... N this feeling only gets better when u get the bill !!!

You can find this to your left when you just pass by the NIMS. The onion samosas offered by them are the most fresh and flavored i had till date. Their Tea and Falooda (Only during the summer) are the best!!. The ambience is what you can expect from a Irani Cafe. Try their biscuits too.
Purushotham Chanda
One of the best Irani cafe I loved in city is Red Rose. Tea combo with Osmania biscuits and onion samosa is best. Their osmania biscuits are too soft and crispy and just melts in mouth. Samosas are also one of the best after Rio secbad.
always you get fresh and hot samosas with good masala filling. For every visit, I dont eat less than 6 to 8 :)

apart from that you can try regular Mirchi and other bajjis out side with the chuteny. The only thing to take care of is the waiters very clever always cheats the customers with wrong billing so u shud count the bill your self. :)
Food:3.5/5
Ambience:3/5
VFM:4/5

One of the oldest retaurants Red Rose has become a landmark in this area. Red rose serves Biscuits and Irani chai with a lot of snacks many of us in other parts of India havent heard off. The Osmania biscuit is famous and do try the small samosas as well. There is also the dil kush and dil pasand. Its a heritage place hence visit for the experience. the food is good and its cheap as well. Try the irani chai for sure.

Well the ambiance outside this cafe is quite happening and you can have very good local tea and osmania biscuit.

Red Rose is one of the oldest Irani cafes in the city. On this stretch most of the folks would have had Irani chai or the most famous Falooda here? There would not be a single person in and around this place not had an Irani chai here. This is one of the few Irani restaurants that still exist in Hyderabad.

At any given time it is always buzzing with all kinds of people and "chai, chai, biskut" (Typical lingo) echoing all around you. You get all kind of biscuits like the traditional Iranian biscuits, tie biscuits, Osmania biscuits here even today and they are very tasty. You get tea, coffee, Lassi, Falooda, Onion Samosa, Mirchi Bajji, Kebabs, Tikkas, Chinese, Punjabi and what not everything under one roof.

Ambiance? Don't think of that. Hope you can understand how the typical Irani restaurants are. Plate, spoons and glass are very unclean and unhealthy. So wanna feel the ambiance and taste of a Iranian restaurant visit this place.

Ambiance 1/5
Food Quantity 4/5
Food Quality 3/5
Pricing 4/5
