Review Mocha - Hyderabad

it was time for a relaxing lunch. It is one of a kind place with an indoor and outdoor setting which very few places in Hyderabad can boast of.(*Summer might not be the best time to sit outdoors*). With plants and trees all along the periphery it makes up for a great ambience. The place in the night might be a stunner with all the lights. Overall, nice place, laidback service and would have loved if the food did more justice to the place. Love the place

Tasty food with nice ambience. Outdoor seating also available. Awesome place to relax and chill out with friends. I love their indoor ambience with very dim light. If you want a good place to work in your laptop it's a good place in soothing environment. Hassle free car parking. Even the street also silent.

Yummy food, good ambience , all and all good place to hangout with friends. Pizza here is fantastic while choco lava is a treat too. They are various segregated spaces all around the cafe with respect to the privacy one needs or the group one is with

Best place to hangout in the city limits. Beautiful ambiance and tasty pizzas. Lemonades are worth giving a try here. Hookah is also good and the staff if more friendly.

Best place to hangout with your friends. Quiet expensive but it'll do it. Kiwi Honey Banana Smoothie ( I am not pretty sure of the exact name) was really awesome. I'll surely have that next time. Apart from that it's a best place for Sheesha Lovers (me no smoke sheesha) . They can have a seat and keep smoking all day 😛. But for others I would recommend that smoothie. I liked it and I'm sure you'll like it too. Go for it.

Great food, coffee, service and ambience. There is an excellent outdoor garden area and several different indoor areas on different levels with fantastic decor. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Chocolate stuff on the menu is to die for (or from)

I visited this place on a Friday evening. The irony was that we were said that pizzas , desserts and few of the shakes weren't available! That really disappointed me a lot. Other than that the ambience was extraordinary. We ordered a sizzler noodles , cheese chilly garlic bread and a couple of shakes. I was satisfied with how the food tasted but again it's definitely over priced.

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon.  I must say I was more impressed with the food and ambiance than the coffee. I went with a friend and sat on the open area. It was pretty nice as it still not so hot then. Apart  from the sultry summer days, this area would be the obvious choice for anyone I think. You can sit on a weekend or in the evening after work and laze around with friends. We ordered for veg shashlik sizzler and chicken roast panini. It was really tasty and very filling for two people. In fact it was a bit too much. I had ordered for Cafe Latte which was pretty mediocre. Overall it was a above average experience

Over priced and the hard part was the availability of items listed on the menu. We went after a long day and this place added to our misery, only good part about it was the ambience, which was beautiful.

We reached the place around 9:45 PM, it looked quite dead, the Ac was switched off, coz no one was sitting inside but the outdoor sitting looked ok. Outdoor is the smoking section but since only 2-3 tables were occupied, so there was hardly any smoke. Shady place, dark corners, hookah parlor. Bad food, unfriendly wait staff & coffee which tasted badddd!!! Tried their Thai Green Curry seeing their Zomato Cover pic; was I sorry or what - nice internet sourced picture. I am told this place has been there for years, I am glad I struck it off my list now.

Was in search of a place where I could chill with my friends at the weekend and mocha dint disappoint me with its really delicious food. <br/>The desserts and smoothies will become your favourite if you have a sweet tooth. The lemon iced tea is a must have with some chicken Manchuria and fish fries. The Italian cuisine also had me slobber at its taste with their soft texture. Alfredo pasta has not been that great when compared to Mac and cheese which melts as soon as it enters the mouth. The kitkat shake and oreo shake are must have. The hot chocolate with whip cream over it dint taste as expected but the desserts kept me want more of them.

Looking for a place to hangout with friends for hookah, this is the place for you. The hookah is good so is the food and drinks. The ambiance gives you this peaceful feeling. The country lemonade is good and so is the Oreo brownie shake. A must try.

This is a good hangout place for hookkah lovers. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. Indoor one has screening. The continental mushroom items were good. The service has to improve though. A good hangout place.

Have been here twice. Place has good ambience, especially the rooftop seating. Service is slow. Food quality is okay. During my both the visits I had to go for my second options as what I ordered first was not available.

This place is for Hookah and timepass whole day when ur free or getting bored. Overall, service has to improve. One more thing, i think the taxes on bill has to be more clear and specific rather than adding all taxes in the bill.

Went there for Hookah when it was all going good in the city. Ordered berry blast along with it. Overall the place was really nice and ambience was pretty decent.

Ordered sunny side up breakfast and sweet corn soup. With breakfast there was no brown bread. Also the fries served were similar to the ones available from McD.

Firstly ! If you are looking for outdoor seating , this place isn't the one in rainy season , as there are too many mosquitoes spoiling your time there . The music being played was the only saving grace as we sat outdoors! So look for indoor seating . Their food quality is really good . <br/>The one shake I would not suggest is the Ferrero rocher Shake , which was a complete disappointment . Tasted not a bit like its supposed to! Other food ordered was fine.

I went on a Wednesday night where they have stand up comedy. It was a horrible experience. I genuinely like mochas usually but this one it not worth it at all. The service is super poor. There was a huge rat roaming around the eating area and nobody was doing anything about it. When we asked for regular water, they said that their filter was spoiled so no regular water at all. The food took half an hour to arrive. All in all, one of the worst experiences in Hyderabad.

Nice place to relax and have good smoothies or coolers... Sheesha is great... One of the oldest places with nice service... Desserts are a must try... All-day breakfast is something everyone visiting here should try....

Kheema ghotala is must try at this place. Bluberry flavour for hookah. For a best mix of blueberry n other flavours with that. I think they are experts in that. Best food n sheesha. I rate it 5stars

Surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting too much out of this place but the food we ordered was good. Maggi in garlic sauce, Pavbhaji and the honey coated lotus stem (yum). The hookah is missable, flavor isn't strong enough and the price is steep. Great ambience though (minus the mosquitoes)

I have been to this place in 2008 or 2009 twice or thrice after that its mostly over online takeaways, one thing for sure the taste of the food never goes down in quality and quantity its too good.<br/><br/>I ordered Poutine and Mt. Brownie and this was through Zomato online order. <br/><br/>Poutine contains french fries I must it was so crunchy till the end I finished those, which came with creamy cheesy sauce and chicken shredded pieces. All you need to mix and relish it and I must say serve it hot and enjoy the taste in this rainy season. Chicken was small in pieces bit shredded and cooked well in barque sauce which makes the poutine extremely good.<br/><br/>I never thought they will serve 3 chunks of brownies and ice-cream the quantity is good enough for 4 people I must say. Brownies got the buttery flavor with walnuts getting  in mouth.  It was surely a great food to have and enjoy the evening specially when work doesn't allow to go out......in this lovely rainy weather.<br/><br/>Happy eating guys.............will try their salads and sandwiches next time.

Mocha was one of the first Hookah places in Hyderabad. Located on the lane opposite GVK mall( imam Khomeini road), finally decided to give this place a try.<br/>Nothing great about the ambience, but it does have a chill atmosphere. There are sofas as well as mats to sit on the ground and enjoy your sheesha.<br/>The service is good.<br/>Hookah is great too, for the given price !<br/>Food can be skipped. It's more like a formality.<br/>This place is crowded in the evenings with youngsters favorite spot to unwind.<br/>A good hangout place overall.

Undoubtedly the best hangout place for me. I've been there a gazillion times but never bothered to go anywhere else. If you love shakes, this is the best place in town for you. It has different sections, each section has its own unique ambience. You can either chill out  at the Garden and spanish sections for sheesha and slurpees or sit separately elsewhere and focus on your work, where you'll have absolute peace and privacy. The staff is very polite and professional. YES,  service might take time, but it depends on what you order. If you order the most common bun maska, they'll get it to you in a flash. But if you order something complicated, they take time to craft it to perfection. Its definitely worth the wait. Best for the last, they organize comedy nights and live music in the evenings which wraps up my justification for the rating I gave. Cheers Guys!

Being one of the first coffee shop/ sheesha lounge it remains a classic out of all and incomparable.<br/>With a blend touch of royal nizam structure /contemporary ambience set out in quite n beautiful greenery .Just as their mocha they have very fascinating menu with being covered with coffees n food from all around world . <br/>I went there recently with a friend , it was really hard to pick one at a particular time . <br/>The food was exquisite and delicious . <br/>I could never miss jr chocolate avalanche and roasted chicken panini . You get completely absorbed in your experience there . I felt its a perfect place to lounge with sheesha for a good evening . <br/>

This cafe has an amazing location near Banjara hills. The ambience is pretty cool. It has a theme based on old things getting used in modern era. Drinks are good. Food is okaish. Not that pretty much variety available. The service is not that quick also. They take ages to serve.

Stopped at mocha last night, it was pretty busy for a tuesday night.They have valet service which makes the parking a breeze.I used to come to this place pretty often back in the day, it was nostalgic to come back here after a couple years, alot have changed..they gave a pretty modern touch to the interior,though they always had a hippy touch to it but now its just better. We order hookah,a kitkat shake and banana kiwi smoothie. The smoothie came in a mason jar,tasted more of banana but no complains,kitkat shake was good too.About hookah,well i have smoked better hookahs but the service for hookah is the best i have seen so far. The couches were clean,well maintained. Overall i had a really good experience,would comeback for sure.

Known to be one of the oldest Café in town, Mocha is a simple but surreal experience. It's tucked in one of the quietest streets in Banjara Hills and will definitely serve as an escape for anyone who goes there.  <br/><br/>The Ambiance is worth mentioning, they have a rooftop seating with a North Indian menu and then the lower levels and outdoor seating for sheesha and simpler food. I was here for dinner this week and I had a really nice time. <br/><br/>We ordered greek salad with smoked chicken, Club sandwich and Half and half pizza. The food is good, not over the line, just good. I have also ordered from this place the Kit-Kat shake and the brownie shake is amazing and the fish and chips are okay as well. <br/><br/>Mocha is an ideal place for a group of friends to just hangout, relax, have sheesha and enjoy the ambiance having some light snacks.

Very good ambience. I love the stand up comedy show here every Wednesday. Milkshakes here are great. I also love the food here. Salads and the cheese chiili toast are my favourites. Hookah here is served in many flavours. The fruit flavours are my favourite and they make it very well. Service staff here is however a little slow.

This is the oldest cafe in the city. Love the ambience here .. The seating arrangements are quite cool and comfortable. <br/>The starters, the cold coffee and the shakes are really good here. Do try the mocha and ferrero rocher shake, it's yummy here. <br/>Good memories with this place :)

Very chill place, it's nice to sprawled across and spend time with my friends here. The coffees were great! We didn't eat, but we tried a whole range of drinks, hot and cold. A little shady ambience, some lights weren't working etc, but overall good.<br/>

Went there on the weekend! The place is huge and it happened to be empty. The service was quite bad, I had to keep leaving my seat to look for a server. The table was dirty, we asked for the table to be cleaned which never happened. <br/><br/>We order some shakes, my Ferrero Rocher Shake was average and tasted synthetic, tasted more like some cheap chocolate sauce was used. The other shakes were really good though. <br/><br/>We ordered a portion of fries which came with cheese to pour over it. The fries were probably cooked in old or overused oil and the fries tasted bitter because of that. We sent the fries back and told the server to cancel the order. Five minutes late the server came back with new fries which we never asked for and he said if we don't eat it then it would get deducted from his salary. <br/><br/>Now I was not only left with bad fries but was made to feel guilty about it. I spoke to the manager who blamed the server for not cancelling the order, honestly I felt bad for the server. The manager was outright rude and wouldn't even listen to what the real problem was. He just kept repeating that the fries are soggy due to the sauce and that's why we didn't enjoy it. After his arrogant behaviour we decided to just take the fries and leave <br/><br/>Mocha needs to teach their manager to manage a place properly and how to at least listen to a complaint. If he can't handle it, he's in the wrong job. Such a bad experience!!!

Mocha is supposed to be a hangout place for the college students. However, I see that the Hyderabad outlwt of this brand is more of a hookah parlor for the boy gangs. Really, you'll hardly see any girls visiting the place. Strange though. The place does serve some really good coffee. However, no fun in looking at a shabby all boys gang giggling the whole day.

A place to chill out irrespective to any time. Coolers and sheesha(especially panrasna vanila) keeps you cool. Tried new cooler named flusher, made me to redefine the word cool.

I have been visiting Mocha since 10 years and it's never been disappointing. I have been to many coffee shops but nothing matches Mocha standards... It always comes with new ambience, menu etc.. Which makes the customers visit the again and again and never lets it standards down. It has that Hyderbadi feeling.. It's like my second home.. Keep up the brand name Mocha team!!!

Worst place in banjara hills area..service is pretty bad..they dont even serve water..they dont have more than half of the veg menu..pathetic! We came here for the comedy event but its all ruined now..

I heard alot about the place and hence decided to celebrate my birthday here and to my dissapointment this place did not reach my expectation at all.<br/>Such a dull atmosphere around..would not visit again.<br/>And to top this while giving them the list of our order...half of the choices we made were not available..and hence we could not eat much here..that did annoy me as they did not have much food to provide.<br/>Suggestion: please improve this.<br/>The pasta and pizza we ordered tasted good and that was a small relief as something positive occured.<br/>Not recommended!!

Best Sheesha experience! <br/>Though it has got a gloomy feel to it, the interiors are done very tastefully. Just lit up the right way for a hookah parlor.<br/>Very impressed with the mocktails! Was here in the evening to catch up with a fried. Since I had my lunch only a few moments ago, and room only for dessert(of course!) banoffee pie caught my eye. And it was worth every bite!<br/>However, I have qualms about the service. My companions had ordered cream and cheese maggi and a paneer tikka sandwich. The maggi was good BUT our sandwich didn't arrive for an hour. Somebody apologized and said 5 min more but half an hour later, no show. That was very disappointing.<br/>Would probably come here only for the pie again.<br/><br/>I recall being here earlier once and the veg platter was amazing.

Situated in the bylanes of bhills opp to gvk one mall its a great place to hang out for coffe and more..<br/>This place has been renovated and this time and this time its more cool colour full and relaxing in atmosphere..<br/>It was there vertigo pasty which was my favourite a chocolate pastry soft and layerfull and a big sized one..but its been taken out of the menu..<br/>But now its chocolate avalange which is quite popular ..its a combination of chocolate mouse brownie chocolate ice cream and choco sauce ....<br/>Go in for some relaxing time over coffe and snacks..

We went with very high expectations.<br/><br/>Ambience is quite good. Especially the ground floor space. But it is not well maintained. Some of the bulbs are missing in the lighting above our head. Fell in love with this place when I visited it the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday.  A very cozy and laid back feeling was imminent due to the way it is designed. <br/><br/>One of the best frappes (mocha caramel frappe) & Banofee pie that I had was here. <br/><br/>Coffee , Panini's , burgers, sandwiches, pizza, seesha's have all been tried and tested and <br/>all have been nice. <br/><br/>As the ambiance is very relaxing , people do relax here for a long time and waiters do not disturb them often, but many times the waiters need to check up on people who came there for food and would like to be served quickly. Happened to me on several occasions but it still needs to improve.<br/><br/>Overall : A nice place to relax with friends, chit chat over hukkah, have that casual informal meetings etc.

Not very sure about how the food tastes, but apart from the very nicely lighted and ambient place, the hookah served is one of the worst I've ever smoked. Not a place where you'd like to try hookah!

I had high hopes for the Hookah but the Hookah was disappointing. Ambience is super cool and the service was not up to the mark! I'll give it another chance soon but this visit was definitely not as good as I expected it to be.

Last time i visited this place Congress was still in power. And that impression left a bad impression. It was rather a shoddy place with bad service which compelled me to never visit this place again. <br/>Somehow this place took an 180 deg change and transformed into a chic place. Went along with a colleague while bunking office to grab a quick evening bite. Ordered a poutine which was alright. As mentioned on menu, it was totally gross and messy and delicious. Well, it was. My friend who's a sucker for pasta ordered chicken penne in spicy arrabiata. It was slightly bland but tasted good nonetheless. If there is one thing that will make me want to visit this place again is their blueberry brain freezer. I had a mini foodgasm and didn't wish for my drink to end. <br/>It's one of those places that you will visit once and probably will never come back. That's just my opinion. Interiors was well decked with rustic hues and contemporary interiors with fine detailing on furniture. Service was very prompt and courteous. <br/>Over all a one time visit place. :)

Super laid back,excellent service, good food and drinks. The couches badly need a revamp. Comedy nights are cool. Fun hangout spot as it retains its charm though it's been on the Shisha scene for a while now. A revamp of the seating will do a lot more good to the place.

Had been there with a friend once. We had ordered a sizzler, starter and coffee. The ambience is really gloomy and depressing. Would not prefer to go again.

I would give it a 3.5 star, because of the amazing ambience it has and also the reasonably priced hookahs. The food here seems expensive but the drinks are amazing, value for money. It is a great place to hangout for hookah lovers. The coal service and service in general needs to improve

One of the oldest shisha place in the city. Pleasant ambiance is what I love here and live music on Fridays. I would recommend this place if u want to relax having a shisha with tasty food. Service is bit slow. Perfect for a evening hangouts.

Loved the backyard open area. The coffee was very good and service was timely. Would love to try more on the menu. The hookah tables were really full. Not a fan of hookah myself, however the energy was good around.

Mocha is always a good place to chill and relax in every city......this one has a good ambiance......a very good service and good set of attendants.....food is nice.....hookah is amazing.....music is quite impressive...... Crowd is very nice.....overall a very nice cafe.....will visit this place soon again and will suggest people who are new to this city like me to try this lounge for sure :D

My Mocha experience was not a good one. I was really excited to check it out after looking it up on Zomato and checking with a few friends- but, the menu was extremely disappointing. We were offered just ONE option in coffees- cappucino.. Zomato should remove this place from the "great coffee" list. The ambience and service was pretty OK.. But, it kinda dashed my spirit that I could not get ANY option on coffee.

Firstly a very well designed place with an excellent ambience. Every single dish u order is served to perfection. U will get the best sheesha over here and finally the service is very good with pleasant people.

This place has run down feel to it. The ground floor open space is the best, but as I said it's pretty run down and the cushions are disgustingly dirty. Some have holes in them! Ugh! I disliked their coffee and tea. So what's left? Hookah? I dont smoke. So that's the end of Mocha. Food - average.<br/><br/>Cant they clean it at least? The first floor is dark and dingy. No one cleans the air. The waiters are annoying and force you to drink Himalaya which I hate. I dared to ask for Kinley and was given a lecture in broken English by a dirty waiter (everything here is dirty) who told me Himalaya is "branded" water. Well... what if a guest doesnt want "branded" water??<br/><br/>Not at all recommended. I get the feeling it USED to be nice. The location is awesome though - main road opposite GVK One mall.

It was a Saturday late afternoon and I walked in quite tired. I'll finish this real fast, we ordered a Brazilian coffee, a masala chai and, at their recommendation, an OMG burger. The coffee came within a few minutes and was okay. The tea came after 30 minutes and the burger took almost an hour, after several reminders.<br/><br/>For some reason, I found the place quite disconnected from what you'd expect from a Mocha.

This is one of the best place for Hookah! Awesome Ambiance! Good Service. Great place to hangout with friends for sure! Live music on the weekends is one thing you'll enjoy! <br/><br/>You'll also notice some Tollywood celebs coming here regularly on the weekends. Also, Chess you can play chess while sipping on the shisha! <br/>Birthday bashes are almost everyday here because it's a very happening place in Hyderabad man!<br/><br/>The only reason I gave it a 3.5 because, I really donno whats happening with their pricing. I mean they are charging an extra VAT on you. I understand we don't actually care. But I really want  to know why is it happening here?

One of the oldest hang out places in hyd..this used to be our college adda...It's a bungalow which is converted into a hookah place.. The food is good but service needs to be improved a lot.. The ambience and place looks much better after the renovation.. Being a hookah parlour it serves really good hookah..over all a fine place to chill out..

This place is a bungalow converted into a cafe. Pretty decent place to hangout if you haven't visited this place.. The interiors are a bit shady..that being sitting at a sit out is a much better idea. Love the shisha..food is just okay..

Mocha has been a place known for friends hangout and today it was a venue for b'day celebration ...<br/><br/>Boy o boy we had great fun laughing over amazing sheesha along with great shakes n pink lemonade was yummy ... Dishes flavorful <br/><br/>Mocha rocked the treat .... A must visit again from my end.

Was not a planned visit, just dropped as was lingering around in that part of city. The place is well located on Lane no. 7 Banjara Hills. They have 3 sitting areas, outside garden sitting, ground floor and first floor. All the sitting areas was good and on3 relax for hours after long day work. Ordered hukka and mocha Frappuccino. Hukka was decent and coffee as well, none of them the kind I expected them to be. Nice place if in or around that area.

Good ambience, not-so-good food. The seating outside looks pretty and colourful, a nice place to go to, to get some fresh air and catch up with friends. The mocktails come in nice looking jam jars but that's about it.

The ambiance at this place is really good and even the hookah but I would visit this place not so regularly as the food menu is way to limited.<br/>I would love to have a lot list of menu so I can finish my hangout and dinner at the same place if I'm not having time to do both at different places

It's a cool little place, one of the oldest hookah and cafe in banjara hills. The most striking thing about Mocha is it decor, little bistro and British type. Man, the coffee is divine! <br/>The food is not that bad but could have been better. I had a panini chicken along with a lemonade. Thumbs up for that big jar in which they will serve it! <br/>The shisha is average, I had better!<br/>The one minus point is that some of the sofas and chairs are quite dirty.<br/>And I didn't like the ambience too much, there is huge improvement to be made on the ambience ! <br/>0.5 point for the service and the cutlery in which they will serve you, I wanted to buy them all :D<br/>Improvement in food and ambience needed, otherwise cool nice place where u can hang out till late night!
