Review Aama's - Hyderabad

Gopal Mohapatra
It's a small place but the food is brilliant. Authentic cuisine. The Nepalese Chicken Thukpa was awesome. So were the chicken chilli Momos.
Mahima Atishaya
A small lil cozy space serving authentic Nepali Cuisine. We were here for dinner after a long tiring day and the meal was just perfect to ease the tiresomeness. Great taste, super good quantity and reasonably priced for the quantity they serve. The Nepalese Thupka one of my favourites was my go to from their menu. Momos and donuts sorted the rest of the meal.

Food was very tasty. I have tried Chicken Chilli momos * 5/5 (i specially liked that juicy flavour) Nepalese chicken thupka *5/5 Chicken fried rice * 5/5 Cozy place with Very reasonable prices. Ambience was very simple and with fancy look. Good service. Happy and will definitely visit again.

I’ve been visiting this place since it had opened. Small cute outlet serving very delicious Nepali and Tibetan food. Their varieties of momos like Steamed Momos, Jhol Momos, Deep Friend Momos are a must try and they’re delicious. You can also find some authentic Nepalese Thali, Nepalese Aloo Dum, Nepalese Thukpa and many more. Really love their warm and homely hospitality. Prices are also very affordable.

Small cozy place that serves authentic nepalese fast food. Momos are always good and since the day it was opened I haven’t noticed any change in the taste. Mixed fried rice is a must try. Service is good and never had to wait so long.

Good food. Pleasent ambience. Portion sizes are decent. Noodles taste amazing(update, fried rice is better) Chicken thupka is nice, must try. Also try kheema paratha.

Such a great little place! Perfect ambience, great customer service, and the most wholesome, authentic food. Had a lot of fun eating here. The place was small but very neat and had great music too! We ordered ting momo with shyapte and really liked it. It was a steamed bun served with chicken fried in garlic and chillies. The chicken was very flavourful and was a little too spicy for my taste but delectable nevertheless. The bun was soft and airy and went well with the chicken. We also ordered an egg thukpa and that was very balanced too. Really enjoyed dining here. Would absolutely recommend it.

This place is a heaven for food lovers!! You need not worry about the calories when you’re coming off to this place!! 😄 Every dish is healthy and nutritious. This place is quite far from the city but you would definitely leave happy and fulfilled after a meal here. We tried out the momos at first. We started with a chicken pan fried momo and the chill chicken momo tossed in red sauce this doesn’t taste spicy but has a sour and sweet taste and it’s yummy! Do try it out if you love momos!! I’m a coffee lover I tried out the black coffee as an appetiser and then we tried out the Datshi rice. The place is basically themed on a Asian Nepal classic livelihood! The surroundings are simple yet elegant and beautiful has an vibe of the peacefulness. They have quite a few dishes where the recipes are from 🇧🇹 Bhutan!! :) The datshi rice is one such. If you’re visiting the place on a weekend then you’re in for a treat because they have weekend specials on the menu..oh yeah!!! 😋😋 We tried one of their weekend special dishes that’s called the Sekuwa Chicken it’s yummy trust me you gotta try this out! The prices for the dishes are very reasonable! :) Visit this place for a meal and come back happy!!! ☺️ A place for foodies wooo! 🥳

Total 2 four chaired tables, 3 two chaired tables and well, if we are along with friends then we can suggest more than the table capacity. Food and ambience were peaceful Food these guys prepare is authentic to their culture. Very less salt and less spicy But personal opinion is ask them to make it spicy or add salt yourself

Staff with cute vibes and the food is served very fast that too piping hot. It was my first time trying datshi rice alongside Jhol momos, after a long day of exhaustion. I don't have any reference to the authentic datshii rice but, the moment I took a small scoop of it, instantly fell in love with the taste as it gave me the homely vibe. I have tried better Jhol momos in seven sisters. Can tell you that, I would say they're really good with the taste. [4.5/5] ***Easily recommended***

#Aamas #NepaleseCuisine #hiddengem #VFM #gopannapally #ClickEatXploreYo Heart craving for something different but isn’t clear what to ..! Was scrolling through #Zomato and my thumb stopped by “Aama’s” Never knew Lingampally has some good hidden gems.. this is near the exit gate of HCU (Gopanpally)..! GoogleMaps -> Search -> Navigate -> Reached ..! Entrance looks catchy..! Cute compact seating which fits in 17-20pax. Menu is even short and sweet not making the options complicated..! Wanted to have Thukpa but they were running out of it so choose Veg Sha Phaley & Ting Momo with Aloo dum..! As I was single requested for half portion & the person obliged to serve.. Veg Sha-Phaley is a seasoned steamed cabbage (authentic one is replaced with grounded beef) stuffed in maida dough and deep fried..! This tasted okay nothing different but the twist was the red chutney served made out of authentic hot spicy Dalle chilli (cherry pepper from northeastern India) which was zing zing amazing ..! Ting Momo a kind of steamed bun made of all purpose dough with yeast (if u see it as poop u can’t relish the taste 😂) which should be ate along with super spicy aloo dum.. My tummy & lips could feel the heat/spice for atleast 30min after meal..! Fantastic it was ..! That could be reason this is called a winter dish..! Overall it was a good and different experience which my heart desired for..! Will I go again ? Yes for Thukpa 😍 Timings 1pm - 10pm (best time is before 8pm) Monday Holiday Recommended - Ting bun+Aloo dum, Non veg sha phaley, Thukpa/Thenthuk Bill 110₹ #Annadathasukhibhava

Near authentic Nepalese and Tibetan food, with great ambience. Do try the deserts, we had cinnamon donuts and they were fresh, hot and yummy!

Peaceful vibes. Good food. My favourite is chicken thukpa. I got to taste the best momos in Hyderabad here. Travelled all the way from Attapur to this place. Must try!

Tibetan and Nepali cuisine in Hyderabad. We tried the tingmo with datsi (mix of Tibetan and Bhutanese cuisine), chicken shyapta, mixed fried rice, veg fried momos, chicken steamed momos. The food was up to the mark and the prices were correctly placed. Ambience was minimalistic and the music was perfectly curated. Loved the vibe and the service was on point 💯. Recommend : pan fried tingmo, veg fried momos.

Aama's is our favorite place when it comes to lunch nearby our home. They offer terrific thalia though they take time to prepare(around 20-25 mins). We went for lunch today and ordered 2 Datshi Rice bowls, 1 Veg Thali and 1 Chicken Thali. As usual thali were amazing. My parents loved them. They were hot and freshly prepared. As me and my wife were not that hungry, we opted for Datshi rice. All items were good, and we enjoyed our meal. Total cost was 640(200 for Chicken Thali, 180 for Veg Thali, 260 for 2 Datshi Rice Bowls).

An accidentally discovered place and it turned out to be our regular spot. Definitely delicious food, amazing ambiance and great service. Every dish we ordered were excellent right from starters to the deserts.

It was amazing experience. The ambience was quaint and cozy. Music gave a very chilled out vibe and the food was heavenly. I would suggest to go for all non veg options as the veg options I didn't prefer too much. I ordered chicken shyapta ,chicken momo, veg thukpa, veg jhol momo, saadek momo, ting momo and donuts.

Great place if you like to try Nepali food.

So with a lot of hesitation tried out this place during the current trying times (can't control the crave sometimes you see). But gotta say they have all the essential measures to ensure a proper environment for us. Not a luxurious big place, just a small place to have a quick bite with a friend. We had tried out the chicken fried momos and the veg manchurian. Gotta say the fried momos where extremely good, and we had an extra plate as well, unfortunately they didn't have enough and offered only half plate. The manchuria though was saucy ( which you ain't gonna like if you ain't a fan of it). But over all it was a good experience and if you a fan of Nepalese type food you gotta try this place, may not be a lavish place but a good cozy place to have something good.

Well i was confused and bit worried of pandemic situation right now but surprisingly this restaurant has well maintained social distancing and it was clean and hygenic. I usually do online ordering but yesterday i visited here and the food was so fresh and as usual tasted amazing. You must try some authentic nepali cuisine. Very less restaurant in this area and this aamas restaurant happened to be one of the best in location. Thank you for taking care of your customers !
SHYAMAL
I use to visit often. This is the nearest momo point from my location. Though m not a big fan of East Asian dishes. But I seriously recommend you to visit this place. This is by far the most tastiest Momo I have ever had in Hyderabad till now. I'm gonna come over and over again.. also will suggest everyone about this place

My favourite place to order from! They never disappoint. Such soulful food. Grateful to have found them ❤️❤️❤️

Aamas is an amazing place to eat, Personally, I like it too much because I have stayed in Gangtok for 4 years. Aamas gives you the exact same feel like you are in Gangtok and eating Momos and Thupka. My person favorite is Steamed Chicken Momos and Aalu. <br/>The place is tiny, and you see mostly college student there. It is very pocket friendly. <br/>Would love to visit again.
Sourav Dixit
Don’t have words for this place, this is a hidden gem ❤️ Tried veg noodles and veg manchuria and the taste reminded me of street food I user to eat in my hometown,

Aama’s truly carries the warmth of Nepalese food dine-in amidst the busy crowded lanes of Hyderabad. I recommend you to visit if you like great food in cozy places served with a genuine smile. :)<br/>Must-try restaurant!

I really liked all the items from here. Specially fried momos in gravy were really amazing.<br/>Veg manchurian gravy was also very tasty.

Been here several times, one thing I like is the taste of the food is consistent. Me and my wife have tried all most all the vegetarian options here and all of them have great taste and amazing flavours. It's a good Nepalese restaurant near university of Hyderabad. Quantity of the food is really good ,and also it's not heavy on your pocket. Ting Momo and jol Momo are really good here.
Mohan Myneni
One can have the best chowmein and chicken chilli momos ..dim lights made this place difficult to find even though it is a roadside food joint..friendly staff and good food..
Khushboo
The place was good ... Small in size with 4-5 tables. Momos were okay. . Soup was good. And chicken which is available only on weekends is yummmm... Must try.
Abhinav Mahanta
For authentic Nepali food, this is the place to be! With a very cute ambience, the place is really small but that lends it its cozy authentic feel to like a Nepali roadside restaurant you might visit on your way to a hill state. The food is really yum, especially the Momos, thukpa and chicken thali. Only thing to be careful and considerate is the lack of parking space for four wheelers which makes frequenting this place tricky and the road is awful currently
Sonali Gangal
Aamas with its perfect quaint look and ambience brings the feel of the mountains into the city. The authentic taste of the food will leave your tastebuds tingling for more. The food is tasty, perfectly balanced in all flavours and reminds one of home cooked food. It's a definite must try place especially for the thali, datchi rice, momos and thukpa

Very polite staff to handle your love for food... A special mention about their chicken thupka, chicken cheese momos, chicken sha phaley and saade ko aloo with poori... A small cosy place which serves authentic Nepali food... You will never regret for been here.

Follow mrsfoodieglobetrotter on Instagram and Youtube.<br/>Whenever it rains or the weather is a little chilly outside I crave for two things, some hot momos and a cup of tea and today I am talking about the former one. In search of some good momos in some new place, I came across this restaurant called Aama's. It means Mother in Nepalese and yes it's a Nepalese restaurant located in Serilingampally very near to Hyderabad University. A really small place with about 5 tables to seat and a pretty basic yet cozy ambinece with that North East feel. You get to see a couple of photographs from Darjeeling, Kalimpong, some wind chimes and those Buddhist mantra prayer flag slowing swiniging at the entrance.<br/>Now coming to my favorite part, food. We started with their Nepalese chicken thupka ( 170 INR) . It had all boiled veggies, that yummy chicken broth with soft noodles and shredded chicken on the top. It was something perfect to start off the lunch. Next we tried a varities of Momos. This one was sponspored by them as they found out that I am doing a YouTube video ( which will be out next week) and that was such a sweet gesture.<br/>So on the plate there were<br/>Steamed Momo<br/>Chicken Chilli Momo<br/>Chicken Jhol Momo<br/>TingMomo<br/>Chicken Sha Phaley<br/>You get 8 pieces per plate for all of the above except the Sha Phaley where you get 4 pieces and the prince ranges between<br/>110- 170 INR. Now coming to how each of them tastes.<br/>Steamed Momo was so soft , the outer layer was so thin and not at all oily. That chicken chilli Momo got a little bit thick curry with a strong flavour of chilli and tomato. Coming to the Jhol one, those momos got a blend of chicken, soyabean and seaseme seed which gives it a very different aroma and flavour. The last two on this plate was something very new to me . TingMomo and Sha Phaley , I tried for the first time, the former one was a soft fluppy steamed bun look like a ride and the later one is actually a pan fried chicken dumplings.<br/>All of them were equally satisfying.<br/>Next we went one trying their one and only Bhutanese item on the menu - Datshi rice . Datshi means cheese in Bhutanese language. It was kind of a very simple dish which is kind of chilli and cheese stew with some butter, rice and boiled potatoes on the top. It gives you a very homely feeling and costs Rs. 130. That day we ended our lunch with Sekuwa half plate ( 170 INR). They served three chicken skewers, where the small chicken pieces were Charcoal grilled and went pretty well with that mint mayo sauce and would have been perfect if was little bit more soft.<br/>I know it was a really long post and am happy that you have read it till this much. Do give this place a try and taste those authentic food cooked there.
Vikash
You might feel something missing if you had Nepali cuisine before but still a place you must try . Service is fast .<br/>

Best Momos I've ever had. Especially the Chicken cheese fried momos are damn good. Good songs, great vibes. 10/10 would visit again. Great place to chill.

Offbeat place.. cute little place which would take you back to the hills n mountains.. serves amazing dishes!! We tried ting momos with chicken meatballs!! Soft tender buns will make you go crazy with amazing meatballs in gravy.. <br/>

My friend took me here. Initially, I was complaining for the distance but I was awe struck when I entered the place. It gives a feeling that you are somewhere in the mountains as they tried to keep the similar decor. Kudos guys to the creativity in such a small place ❤ Coming to food, it's even better. We tried ting momos with meatballs which is something unique. Super soft and super yummy. Then we also tried their weekend special, Sekuwa which was char grilled and was equally good. Overall, it's a value for money and a must visit 👍 ❤❤

Visited this place with expectations after a lot of hype from a friend. Aama's is a tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant located in Nallagandla, and resemble those tiny food joints along Himalayan trails. Tried steamed momos, fried momos, chilli momos, jhol momos, fried rice, across a few visists. The food was strictly average, considering the price tag it carries.<br/><br/>Definitely NOT the "authentic Nepalese food" that the restaurant claims.
Forever A Foodiee
• Satisfy your Tibetan Food cravings •<br/><br/>The place next door for the students at University of Hyderabad for some soulful Tibetan & Nepalese food.<br/><br/>They serve a very limited yet freshly prepared menu, which is delicious, and scrumptious.<br/><br/>What I had :<br/><br/>CHICKEN THUKPA - A bowl of warm Soupy goodness to soothe your tastebuds, with hand prepared Noodles made of rice. (Relish it on a rainy day & you shall levitate)<br/><br/>SHA PHALEY : Tibetan dish of bread stuffed with seasoned chicken and cabbage, semi-circular in shape, which is either deep or pan fried like pot stickers.<br/><br/>MOMOS : You already know what this is, but you'll be surprised after tasting how good this is.<br/><br/>The place is very small yet cute, maintained very well and has a Nepalese vibe with prayer flags and much more.<br/><br/>The food I would say is not very expensive from the quality quantity and taste stand point, so you're sure to have a paisa vasool.<br/><br/>Visit the place to experience it.

After hearing about the place from multiple people, we headed out to Aama's on a rainy afternoon. The place is small and gives you a feel of the cafes you'd see in the hills. Ordered chicken thukpa, steamed chicken momos and chicken jhol momos. The thukpa firstly wasn't steaming hot as one would expect. The flavors were not bold and the soup tasted bland. The noodles were cooked well though. <br/><br/>Momos in both cases had a thick skin. the steam variety was decent but the jhol was disappointing. It tasted raw and undercooked. Filling was decent.<br/><br/>Overall, I've had far better momos and thukpa in the city. Prices seemed tad high considering the quality.
Vanessa Anthony
Regularly order from here through swiggy . The momo is okay , the cover is really thick and the filling is not very tasty I think they don't put the chicken fat in as Nepali traditional momo . By far the best momo I had till date is in madhapur near Karachi bakery ,no body can come up to those guys comparison which is 6 momo for 100 rs with rally hot chilly . I hope aamas need to taste that once. Momo needs to be juice and with thin coating. Any ways even jhol momo isn't very tasty with overpowering taste of sesame. I strongly suggest try to taste the momo above and improvise. We need good momo place nearby as madhapur is too far.<br/><br/>Ordered chicken fried rice here yesterday sorry to say it was pathetic! It says seasonal greens but it just had like a few peices of carrots and peas ??? What happened to the shallots ,spring onions ,beans . The chicken was very old and tough and jus boiled meat. The rice was very dry and rubbery and it just did not have any flavour . Sorry to say but it tasted like yesterdays stale rice . Guys please cook and serve for quality not quantity.
Raman Jindal
Excellent food.. loved it !!<br/><br/>We ordered chicken momos, veg noodles and rice. Everything was so delicious. Presentation was also good. Overall great experience. Will love to visit again !!
Mohammad Shabbir
Lovely weather of Hyderabad demands a delicious bowl of thukpa and when ur friend is in town, double date and delicious Nepali/Tibetian food is something not to be missed.<br/><br/>We ripped off the best on the Menu and it was yummilicious !!! Starting off with Sha_phaley, then four plate of veg / non_veg steam Momos. We continued with our highly charged taste buds on bowl of soup thukpa and thukpa - aloo dum and concluded with ( recommend to others too ) Ting Momos with meatballs .
Sung Min
Definitely the best momos in hyderabad. Their thukpas are amazing too. The food tastes good and healthy too as they dont use msg at all. If you happen to visit during weekends you mist try their sekuwa too (it's their weekend special). Overall a very good place to have good food. Will visit soon.
Sanju Thapa
Great food with reasonable pricing. Loved the jhol momo and chicken thukpa. The ambience is also very good given the space is quite small. I had ordered quite a few times before online but nothing beats the taste u get while you dining there. The staff is very humble and i was amazed to see how quick their service is. Will definitely visit Aama’s again. Highly recommended.
Monty Jonty
Momos served like dessert Cold as ice cream<br/>They have been consistent with the temperature. It’s second time unlucky . Will recommend it to add on desert list <br/>It was no way Steam Momos<br/>It was chilled momos<br/>

Awesome Chinese food taste I have been all over Hyderabad actually I am from Mumbai it's far better taste than north side very good and service is also too fast
Bharti Mehta
It's a small cafe in Nallagandla<br/>Visited there after a friend's recommendation.<br/><br/>The place is dark and has only 5 tables.<br/><br/>Ordered Chicken Thukpa, Chicken Momos and Chicken Jholmol Momo's<br/><br/>The thukpa was blande and not very hot as we would have liked in that rainy weather.<br/><br/>The Jholmol Momos had a very strong flavour of something which we didn't like.<br/><br/>Chicken Momos and the sauce served along with it were okayish. The covering of the Momos was very thick<br/><br/>In short I have had better Momos and Thukpa in Hyderabad at other places
Subodhkarki87
This place is very good and you will get very authentic Nepalese and Tibetan food. It has nice ambiance with good music ! Keep up the good work guys!
Raul
Simple place with awesome tasty food. Surprisingly it’s not purely Nepali cuisine, I felt this as I have spent 3 weeks in Nepal (diff places). And confirmed the same from the owner. Nonetheless most of the items are really delicious. It’s damn cheap place guys. I would highly recommend this place.
Shashank
Decent Place.. limited menu.. good taste.. ordered chicken Sha-palay, chicken steamed momo, mixed chowmein and chicken thali. All the items except the thali are absolutely authentic. Good quantities pretty decent rates. The thali is more like a South Indian and is okay.
Harika Reddy
This one was on my list since i discovered this gem on zomato sometime back.Visited this one for dinner yesterday,i love visiting any cafe or restaurent that serves authentic cuisines. This is really tiny cafe with just 5 tables. The prayer flags on the wall caught my attention,so soothing. It is tibetan and nepalese cuisine. My order was 1) Jhol momo- chicken steamed momos served in a sesame based sauce, the sauce was very mild and different.I liked this one.<br/>2) Sekuwa- This was chargrilled chicken meat,i must say it was perfection. The meat had smoky flavour which was very evident and was cooked perfectly. Not so tender, not tough just perfect.<br/>3) Ting momo with meat balls - The meatballs were served in a sauce which was really sour and i didn't like it at all. This was not my favourite, the momo was okay in taste but overall this was a pass.<br/>4) Nepalese staple ofcourse Thukpa- The broth was simple yet flavourful, the noodles were the best i had till date, they were perfectly cooked not soggy or chewy.Tho, different from the one i had in sikkim.<br/>The pricing is really cheap for the quantity they serve, loved this visit,it was a long drive but i really don't regret the drive for this one.
Kiriti Reddy
This place is a jewel at the back of the hcu campus. Take my word, their chicken momos mean serious business- chicken only, and u will not find all the veggies of the world in them. I feel their chicken parata is heavenly
The Food O’Clock
It is located just beside the back gate of University of Hyderabad. The location is not very impressive but it seems it is running well because the food is so good. It doesn’t disappoint you. I love the momos here, it is hard to find a good place for momos in Hyderabad. I have come here especially for momos multiple times. The interior is pretty too. It may be houseful on weekends at dinner time, so you may have to wait outside. Luckily it hasn’t happen with me but I have seen people waiting. <br/><br/>Authentic nepali cuisines are available. They don’t have wide varieties of items but the one they serve are tasty. So, I recommend this place.
Rakshith Torres
Loved the Momo's! Very close to where I live so I try to be here whenever I am not craving south Indian. The Thukpa was delicious too! Cheers! :)

Best place for momos and Special combos on weekend...... Love it!... Poori with Aloo curry was fine and The combo which contained the meatballs was lovablee!!!
Mohammed Faraaz Khan
The world has changed. It's no longer the humble place it once was. It is filled to the brim with advertisements and marketing tools. But sometimes the best thing that one can do is leave everything to the word of mouth. And this is what aama's does best.<br/>Deftly positioned near the Southern gate of the Hyderabad University, this quaint little hut sees it's fair share of college going youngsters, couples and even the odd lone traveller passing along. The box is very compact with only 5 tables but gives a very peaceful vibe akin to a Nepali mountain range. The food however is on a whole different level.<br/>The Momos are large and filling. Add to that the portions are adequately large for their price and very delicious. They could be a tad softer and moist but it's difficult to find such Momos in any other place in Hyderabad anyhow.<br/>The jhol momo is quite the star. On its own the sesame seed and soya combination blitzed into the jhol paste isn't really wondrous but combined with the Momos it elevates the taste to a whole different plane. Clearly the favourite.<br/>The thukpa is very authentic. It's clear, the noodles are soupy and you have your fair share of vegetables tossed in. Quite large portions make this a clear winner in everyone's books.<br/>In the end, the one thing that allows aama's to stand out from everyone else is : AUTHENTICITY. This is sorely lacking from almost every other restaurant serving Nepali cuisine in Hyderabad. Add to that fact that the owners and managers are Nepali themselves gives you renewed hope that they would maintain the quality and authenticity going forward. Would I return? Most assuredly, starving for more...

Lovely food. Elegant ambience. Ideally spiced. Loved the soup, thukpa, sha paley. Great food, highly recommended. Charming ambience. Most dishes here are wonderful

First time I tried momo’s from Aama’s when the was this restaurant was also not there and I simply loved it. The variety of momos is different and lip smacking. I specially loved the cheese ones, just keep popping in your mouth.
Pragya V
Tried their Datshi Rice, Poori with Saade aloo ke sabji, and Kheer...<br/>Datshi Rice: Very simple and yet very tasty... It is plain rice with aloo sabji over it... But definitely unique due to its simplicity.. It reminded me of my grandma's food... Quantity is sufficient for one person...<br/>Rating: 5<br/>Poori with Saade aloo ki sabji: It is a combo of 5 poori and pickled potato... Again a good dish to try... Ask for their in-house chilli sauce if you like spicy... It goes well with this...<br/>Rating: 4.5<br/>Kheer: It was a basic dessert... I could have liked it more if there is no coconut in it... But if you like coconut in Kheer you can try it...<br/>Rating:3.5

It’s a hidden gem in the city. For all the momos lovers and thukpa freaks, this is the place to be. It is a small sweet cafe that gives a hillside cafe vibe. Must try their sha phaley and Chicken Thenthuk. It’s different and it’s nice.

Hidden gem of Hyderabad!<br/><br/>Cute little corner with barely three tables attached to a home kitchen this place serves mouthwatering Nepalese cuisine.<br/><br/>After tasting food from here I wanted to shout out "Why didn't I come here all these days?". Food served here is fresh and home cooked.<br/><br/>🥟Sha phaley is similar to deep fried Momo's with minced meat stuffed in the momo dough and hand weaved to close it. Crunchy outside with perfectly cooked minced chicken inside along with red sauce was an excellent starter.<br/><br/>🍜 Nothing can get soupier than Then thuk. Soupy noodles along with lots of veggies and chicken it's a complete meal in itself. For South Indians it reminds of tomato rasam with noodles in it. Very mildly spiced I can eat this for dinner rest of my life.<br/><br/>Aama's serves affordable and authentic Nepalese food.
Ashima Singh
It was cute small cafe type place. They don't have much staff as of now, but that do not effect their service in any way. Food is authentic sikkimese/Nepali/ Tibetan. Very pocket friendly and kind owner.
Maria Lizbeth Antony
The meat is Halal<br/>they have good quantity at a really good price!<br/>The food is great<br/>The staff is friendly<br/>You have to try their chicken cheese momos!
Kritika Purna
Amazing and delicious food! Super worthy of it's price and the owners are very sweet and approachable! It's our go to place as it's right next to the university gate and I've never been upset with the quality of the food here. It's always fresh and you can sense it!

Searched for this place right from Bhel.<br/>Finally got the place.<br/>Its a small, very creatively decorated interior. We ordered Aloo Thukpa, Chicken Thukpa, chicken Momo.<br/><br/>Quantity wise I loved the chicken Thukpa, it had good amount of soup and noodles, every sip was yummy.<br/>I loved it.<br/>Momos were good.<br/>But can be better. The outer layer if gets thinner, the Momo will get tastier..<br/>Aloo Thukpa was good.<br/>Will definitely visit this place again!!

I have been eating at Aama's since it got its first outlet. The food is great but the warmth of the people are greater. The thukpa is my all time favourite. It never fails you, even when you are looking for a light meal, or you have an upset stomach or if you have a toothache and can't chew. Also, puri with Sade Ko aaloo, ting momos and sekuwa are a must try!

The new hike in prices is too exorbitant and too sudden. It feels way too expensive to visit regularly now. Datshi rice increased from 100 to 130 in the span of just a month. I love the food here, but it no longer feels easy to just go there without a second thought

It felt like a robert frost poem-me wandering around without a destination and found this gem of a place --cute and pretty restaurant in stark contrast to its surrounding--a very warm interiors for a cold night--perfect place to hangout and eat momos!!! Loved their veg momos!!

Cute, lovely ,homely are the few description that sums up this place.Few places in Hyderabad which serves Sikkimese and Nepalese cuisine.<br/>Though I tried their different momos which were nicely steamed and filled with fresh stuffings.<br/>Value for money.<br/>Will visit this place again to try their Nepalese cuisine.
Parijat Ray
A small food joint with a unique set of menu. Their thukpas and sha phaley are the special mention. The quality and the quantity of the food is good. The service is prompt. A must try place if you are a fan of momos and thukpas.

Must visit this place whenever you are around Lingampally. Tried chicken chilli chicken Momo's and with no doubt they make the best Momo's in town.

Ordered from this place once. The food was horrible and absolutely tasteless. It was no where close to authentic Nepalese cuisine. Will never order again.<br/>

Finally found the place for which we where craving for past 4 years ! <br/>Craving started for thupka because of our college situated at sikkim , since than past 6 years didnt got a chance to experience the same , until yesterday ! <br/>Dry aloo thupka with omlette reminded me of college days .<br/>It was perfect , couldnt ask for anything else ! <br/>We tried steamed momos, chilli momos and egg thali too.<br/>Steamed momos was perfectly steamed , the size was bigger though, maybe smaller sizes can be made with more quantity ! <br/>Chilli momo disapointed a bit, it felt more sauce in the gravy ! <br/>Egg thali felt bit expensive compartively ! <br/><br/>Overall , if you want authentic thupka and momos , definately try this out ! <br/>Its the best place in hyderabad for sure ...<br/>This rating was only because of 2 dishes veg steamed momos and dry aloo thupka with omlette ...<br/>Do try them out with friends and family !

Orur visit was long due..Finally could make it on one early evening. The place was already full, waited for around 10 min. It was a very small but nicely decorated place.. Had bit difficulty in finding the place as it was wrongly marked in google maps, which we communicated to the staff. Hopefully they will take care of it.<br/><br/>We ordered veg thukpa, veg momos and pha shaley. Since we had thukpa for the first time, can not comment on the authenticity but the flavours were really nice. Momos were well stuffed which was accompaned with chilli sauce. Sha phaley are like fried momos so basically same taste like momos. Staff was polite and service was on time. Overall great experience. Would definitely visit again to try more dishes.

Had been there for many times. In the past 4months, this is may be the only place I have visited so frequently. Aama's provides an wonderful ambience. Being a Northeast bong and staying so far from my place, Aama's helps me to keep in touch with my place's cuisine. I can say Aama's is the best place serving Nepalese and Northeast Cuisine in Hyderabad. But I would like to request to make it a bit cheaper.

The food was really nice. I liked the Momo's especially the sauce. Ambience was good though being small. One should definitely try Momos there.<br/>

It is very warm, quaint and a peaceful place to spend an evening with friends and family.<br/>You can enjoy authentic Nepali food here, it serves one of the best momos in Hyderabad.<br/>I find it slightly over priced with respect to the quantity.<br/>Food-4/5<br/>Ambiance- 5/5<br/>Service- 4/5<br/>Price- 2/5

3.5<br/>Its quaint. Very quaint. And it looks like a place which is just off the highway. Go there is you want to have warm conmforting food. The saade ke aloo are prize-winning and if someone gets their hand at the recipe, i want it!

Loved this place. Nepalese chicken thupka and momos were great and aromatic. Good balance of taste. Huge portions of food and reasonable price.

Aamas, a great place to visit situated near HU is a cozy place to hangout with friends. The food there is just awesome, everyone reading this should try their food once. There is room for improvement that's why I haven't given them a 5 star. As I am a Nepali and love my cuisine, they need to have the dish called shapta with ting mo (haha) just a suggestion. Food served is quick, hosts are polite and all in all everything seems homely there. We often visit you. 😊. Thank you for your great service and food.

Nice little restaurant, the ambiance is just fine but the dinning area is relatively small. Given the price tag, food served here is really good. <br/><br/>They serve Tibetan food along with their main theme "Nepalese food", which felt like a plus point to me. It is definitely a place to visit. <br/><br/>I would recommend having:<br/>      Nepalese Thukpa (Chicken) - It a blend of noodle and soup. <br/>      Chilli chicken momos <br/>       Tingmo (Tibetan)<br/><br/>Ambiance: 2/5<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Service: 3/5

pathetic momos..... not even warm enough.... least tasty, actually empty mostly and sauce too tasteless... that can't a bestseller for sure

One of my favorite kind of cuisine. It is flavorful and does justice to all their dishes. My favorite is the chicken and cheese momo . Even their fried rice is worth trying.

I have been here last weekend. This place on my list since I moved to Lingampally but hardly could make time for it. Last Friday, I was feeling like having momo and set my mind to drop in to Aama's.<br/><br/>Small cozy place onroadside , can be easily tracked. I should use the word 'Cute' for this joint. I parked my vehicle in the Verandah (not sure if this word is appropriate to use here) of the joint and went inside. Ambiance is very simple with dim lights on and small tables and chairs - very very little space and can accomodate max of 18 people if I am not wrong.<br/><br/>I sat on the table on my right just after the entrance door. The menu was lying on the table and I skimmed through it, and decided to order steamed momo and thukpa (my favourite always).<br/><br/>Anyways, the order was ready almost earlier than my expectation. I went home and opened the box - the first look of momo was good but Thukpa was not that impressive by look. So, we started having the momo - it's was average and lacks authentic taste. Thukpa wasn't that impressive - the noodles were boiled too much and the whole of it was lacking taste. <br/><br/>Overall, kind of OK OK place. I am in neutral position to receommend - you might want to go for it and check if their offerings suits your taste buds.<br/><br/>My ratings are as follows:Food - 2.5/5<br/><br/>Ambiance - 3.5/5<br/><br/>Pricing - 3/5<br/><br/>Service - 3.5/5

My friends been crazy over this cutest Nepalese cafe ever since they visited for the first time. Though it’s far from my place. Ambience is super cute. Even the food was very good just that we ordered Ting momo with Veg Manchurian which had a more of ketchup taste in it, rest everything was very good.<br/>We ordered Veg steamed momo, Chicken Sha Phaley, Jhol Momo and Chicken chowmein.<br/>If you are a momo lover, you should definitely hit this place soon!!!❤️

Food was very good lovely service . You can hangout for a cheap meal with friends . Thupka was very good a must try item and dasti rice was tasty too. Should work on Momo's they weren't that good.
