Review Old Mumbai Ice Cream - Hyderabad

The seasonal ice creams of this place are MUST TRY. Tried Guava Chilly, Custord Apple & Kala Jamun Ice creams! Kala Jamun is the best of all! It's very Rich in Taste & Structure. I have never imagined of Kalu Jamun ice cream before.... But their innovation is a BANG HIT!!!!

It’s a good place to stop by for ice creams, milkshakes and hot lava. Place looks decent and it’s on the busy 100 feet road of Madhapur. Prices were reasonable for the ice creams but little costly for the milk shakes. We have ordered milk shake roasted almond ice cream and lava which is was average in taste but ice cream milk shake were decent in taste. Quick place for kids and youth. Self service and not too crowdy.

Spacious place with a good ambiance. The locality is nice. I ordered 'Nuts Overload' and the taste was quite amazing. The taste is different from the general market ice cream shop including brands like Ibaco or Cream stone. I had a great time here and will visit again. Though I feel the price is little high compared to other shops and yes, we get the best taste here.

They have a really good variety of fruity ice creams. Almost like the brand naturals. Must try are their French vanilla, guava and plum flavours. It is uncannily similar to the original. French vanilla especially is such a refreshing taste. Of course, tender coconut, Sitaphal etc are brilliant too, but we already know the taste of those. For those who haven’t tried them, you will have a joyous time experimenting and enjoying.

Good place to hangout with friends…they have all varieties of fruit ice creams and also some seasonal fruit ice creams..we tried sithapal and tender coconut both tasted good…the seating space is also good…worth trying..

Good one. Quantity is very less compared to others. The taste is good. A single scoop costs you around Rs. 80. A must try is their kaju shake which is priced at Rs. 70. Located on the road. Have parking space for two wheelers and they even have an electric bike charging point.

They are famous for the sitaphal ,(custard apple) roll or ice cream. Also good tries are faluda and other digg's. I loved their pistachio kulfi, it is also very tasty and heavy.

The taste of the flavoured icecream resembles to the orginal taste. We had guava, and it felt very authentic. Reducing 1 star for the quantity.

The items are good. Ice creams are tasty. I tried Anjeer Honey, Happy Choclate and Black forest which are decent. Tastes almost like Naturals but in some way they are good and unique.

Had Kashmiri dry fruit and black forest scoops at the store and packed Kulfis for home. The scoops tasted really good. However, the stars were the kulfis. They offer 3 flavors in Kulfis and all of them were delicious. Not only the Kulfis were delicious, the packaging was pretty impressive. Definitely one of my favorite ice cream places in the city. Went there late at night.<br/>Ambience is cool and spacious compared to 'naturals' which feels crowded.<br/>Taste is also good but still need to improve alot. Overall worth a try in madhapur area.<br/>Recommended.

Not upto mark. Only best icecream was spicy guava. Which was outstanding and the entire 3 star can go for it alone. The other ice creams did not taste well for the price charged for. Prices are inclusive of taxes a plus point. The fruit in ice cream was not soft enough. Nuts were good. Roasted in ghee well. Three star for ambiance, music and spicy guava.

Worst manager<br/><br/>This feedback is specifically for the manager behavior.<br/>He is too obsessed when am tasting ice cream flavors. When a single scoop is charged 70rs, don't the customer taste a minor bit of it?<br/>This is not the case when you go to naturals where the taste is better and costs 60rs per scoop.<br/>Went to this shop as its near my house.<br/><br/>Very unprofessional manager.<br/>Just because of him will never visit this again.

I just saw this Outlet next to Big Cup Theory cafe in Madhapur and my mind instantly associated it with Naturals owing to its display name, the different fruit flavoured ice creams that they offered and the ambience.<br/><br/>The inner seating area is vibrant and you can sit there and enjoy your favourite ice cream even at the midnight time.<br/><br/>I ordered Jackfruit ice cream which was great in taste but I certainly missed Naturals as I felt their ice creams are unformidable in taste.<br/><br/>Do try this place if you are around.<br/><br/>

Actually had come to visit the cafe next to it, but finding it closed sat here instead.<br/><br/>Decent place. With helpful staff. I, of course ordered guava chilli ice cream ( first time I've had in Hyderabad - Apsara ice-cream, this flavour, since then wherever I go, I have to try this!!) And it was yummy!!<br/><br/>Next based on the staff's recommendation, ordered the seasonal Alphonso mango ice-cream, and... I think it took me 3 mins to finish off the icecream😂, the fruits and pulp was that fresh! Was there for a good two three hours, once they ensure you have ordered at least one thing, they are okay with you sitting there and chilling. Families so came in , lot of them... So good for all sorts of crowd.

Try the Black Plum, Litchi and Choco Brownie Stone ice creams - they're as unique as it gets. The Pista Kulfi is fantastic. The roll ice creams are great too, but the thick shakes could be much more flavourful.

I finally came to know about this place while visiting the big cup theory. This place is just beside that. Its spacious cute and quite. Good to spend some time icecream . We took one feraroro rocher icecream roll. Full with crushed nuts and Cadbury it was yummy and enough for two. A try worthy place definitely.

This outlet is situated in the 100 feet road in Madhapur and can be easily spotted. The ambience is really good with a seating space for 20-25 people. I ordered a French vanilla ice cream and a Strawberry ice cream. They were reasonably priced. The service is also good. Scoops come to you very fast but the customized one will definitely test your patience. Taste is good though. Visit with kids might be challenging because of the serving speed

I have tried their Seethaphal, Chikoo and Pan ice cream. I must say, they taste fresh and melts so quickly. A scoop costs Rs 65 and with cone it comes upto Rs 80.<br/><br/>The best part is they have a huge seating arrangement with lot of space. Must visit place!

Sorbets are the best here. Mango, tender coconut and custard apple are awesome ❣️ didn't like the special faluda much 🤐🤐since it's not surely a budget pick and not worth for that taste. No proper parking for cars at this place and very limited parking for bikes.

Visited this place few days back and turned out to be amazing. Nice ambiance and ample of space. Crowd was less though but service is fast.<br/><br/>Have tried multiple flavours of ice cream and there after settled with Gulkand one which was just amazing in taste, all the paan lovers will love it for sure. Other than the traditional scoops and bricks they have stone one too, so tried their mango special which was again amazing. They are not too sweet so my wife also loved it. Price wise also it was decently charged and value for money place. Will visit again to try their other flavours.

This is the one of the finest ice-cream store in Hyderabad. Ambience is awesome. The walls has photo frames reflecting the old Hyderabad and their heritage making. Staff are curtious and very polite. This will definitely be on your bucket list. They have shakes, rolls made of natural fruits. Ice-cream rolls are must try.

Well we had guva with chilly and loved the flavour and ambiance is good and they serve us very quick, location is peaceful and we can definitely hang out with friends

Old mumbai is a chain with branches across cities like Mumbai, Belgaon and is now open in Hyderabad at Madhapur. I was recently here for a session.<br/><br/>They have so many unique flavors of ice-creams, stone creations, sundaes, kulfis and any flavor can be made into shakes.<br/><br/>Ice-creams :<br/>I have tried - black forest, Custard apple, guava, tender coconut, thandai. I absolutely loved Paan masala, it was so refreshing. Black forest was really good too. Custard is available for entire year, which really is amazing.<br/><br/>Stone creations :<br/>As it is the season of mangoes, I wanted to give their new seasonal addition to the menu - Mr. Alphonso. It really was so good, topped with freshly chopped Mango on the top ice-cream.<br/><br/>Also tried the Charlie chocolaty. This was good too.<br/><br/>Shakes :<br/>I have tried the coffee shake, which was made from the coffee icecream they have. It was very good.<br/><br/>Kulfi wasn't available on the day we were there! So, I'll definitely go back and try them.<br/><br/>They really have amazing flavors which are naturally made. You can definitely check them out!

I loved the guava chilli ice cream on my first visit and got back next day to have again! Tried other flavors chikoo, butterscotch and Kashmiri dry fruits which were all good. Pan masala was another unique one. I definitely liked it better than much hyped naturals ice cream. The ambiance gives a cozy vibe to enjoy with friends and family.

There's a plethora of ice cream joints in Hyderabad and another addition is Old Mumbai Ice Cream. This place is located in Madhapur on the 100 feet road.<br/>Their menu gives options of year round available flavors, seasonal flavors, sulfites, shakes and stone ice creams.<br/>I tried the guava flavor, it was sprinkled with a spicy masala which reminded me of the my younger days when I used to buy guavas from a push cart and the guy used to cut it and sprinkle the same masala.<br/>While I could try only one flavor, will surely visit this place and try more options. Pricing is quite reasonable.

This is THE BEST ice cream I have had till date. Their kulfis are also amazing!! Just love it!! 😋😋 One of the definitely to visit places in Hyderabad.

Staying close to this place, I have seen this place many times earlier it was with a different name and now I think there is change in the management. I was passing by this place again and being summer decided to try this place. The ambience is very pleasant and neat, the staff's greeted well and recommened few flavors. I selected the seasonal special thandai with some toppings. The ice cream quality is fantastic and even the nits are roasted properly and added to the taste. After the ice cream being so good took another scoop of sitapal as takeaway. Even that was packed really well. If they could maintain everything the same way this place can become very popular among the neighborhood. I would definitely visit more often.

The ice cream was very good . so was the ambience. But one thing I couldn't understand, why did they charge Rs32as tax excluding all other service charges when we ordered it through delivery. The bill was for rs 180 so tax should not have been more than rs 11 according to gst.<br/>

Not an ice-cream lover but have fallen in love with the ice-cream here. Much better than some age old top rated ice-cream shops. Butterscotch chilli guava, chikoo, sitaphal are must try. Be hurry there will be a surprise offer awaiting you (promotional). I got three butterscotch on 1+1 offer.

This place is really popular in Pune and Mumbai and i’ve heard so much about their quality of icecreams and hygiene. They have finally opened their doors in Hyderabad.<br/>The decor of this place is quite interesting with all the pictures of city’s most famous place hung on the walls and a guitar on the other side.<br/>The staff was really friendly and courteous with us and the owner was kind enough to explain all the items we ordered.<br/><br/>We tried spicy guaua, sitaphal, coconut and strawberry from their seasonal icecreams. The strawberry was my favourite because the flavour tasted exactly like a strawberry fruit.<br/><br/>We also tried their concept icecreams which are Banana caramel rolls, Choco brownie rolls and Fruit fusion and nuts with which i’m totally disappointed.<br/><br/>We even tried few shakes and they are coffee, mango, strawberry and roasted almond.

First thing I have noticed is the interiors, very neatly done. Good ambience but the menu was very limited as far as the ice cream flavours is concerned. Ice creams here tasted good with soft texture and taste.

I visited this place with my friends yesterday to have some desert after a heavy night. This is really nice place with some cool ambience this is located exactly beside the big cup theory which is one of my favourite place to.<br/>If you are someone who likes natural flavours and natural taste this is definitely the place for you I tried few ice cream is over here my favourite was the Gova. Very good place to visit. Especially in the midnights.. all scoops are naturally made with out artificial flavors.<br/>I have tastes almost all the scoops are too yummy & richness of the scoops are amazing..! <br/>My favorites are Custard Apple, Guava & Carrot Halwa.
