Review The Wonton - Hyderabad

1. Food quality and taste are good šŸ˜‹ 2. Starters price seems higher šŸ˜’ 3. Main course price is affordable 4. Water bottle and soft drinks are very very expensive (only coke available) 5. Waiting time is around 20min for each order and only 2 staff are available for more than 12 tables šŸ˜¤

The Wonton offers one of the best Indo-Chinese cuisine in the city. We really looked forward to it opening up again after the lockdown. We finally got to visit this place post lockdown and were so glad to be relishing their yummy food. We ordered Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup (delectable), and Pepper Prawns (always the best here). We tried their Prawn Nasi Goreng for the first time, and were glad that we did. Okay let me warn you that their Nasi Goreng is not served with the fried egg šŸ³ on top, which we really wished that they did šŸ™ƒ, but it was delicious anyway. We also tried their Cantonese Chicken as a starter, which was not to our liking. The ambience is quirky and warm, and the service was great. We would really appreciate if they focused on cleaner cutlery šŸ˜¬. We had to request for it to be changed.

Place is usually empty, the taste is fresh. My first visit I really liked the food a lot more than my second visit. Do ask the waiter for suggestions or if you have any doubts with the dish. They're input really helps. Not everything is a 10/10 but yeah it's not as oily like some Chinese restaurants.

One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Hyderabad. Its a must try place if you want to eat Indian flavoured Chinese food. I tried few items here and all were really satisfying. I would like to revisit this place and recommend for others to.

The Wonton located at the hustling and bustling streets of Hitech city provides a fine dining experience in an oriental setup serves pan asian cuisine in the city. My review for the session is as follows: Starters: Dumplings served with their special green chilly sauce were a Tibetan delight to senses . Crispy lamb with spring onion were crispy and amazing. Main Course: Pan fried noodles were coated with schezwan sauce . Ambience: 5/5 Service:5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5

This place has a great Chinese menu. Wonton soup is a must try. Same is wonton fried rice. Food is slightly overpriced but I felt it is worth the experience. Currently they have sizzler festival going on and they are really good at making sizzlers taste great. Ambience is great and it was overall a fantastic visit.

Nice ambience and good place to hang out. This restaurant offers variety of sea food and chicken. This restaurant is famous for Malaysian, Thai and Chinese food varieties. Even though price is but high ,it is worth for spending and you will be satisfied with taste of dishes.

This restaurant is super easy to find. The consider the ambience an important feature of the restaurant. It was beautiful with all the designs. I especially liked the bamboo designs. Service is also good. Food was good as well. We ordered West Lake Lamb soup, Thai Chicken Chilli, Malaysian Nonya Fried rice, and Kung Pao Chicken West Lake Lamb Soup was spicy and delicious. Thai Chicken chilli was also spicy. I actually like it because it doesn't have a corn flour covered on it like other chicken chillies. I loved it. Malaysian Nonya Fried rice was not a spicy item but it comes with a soya sauce mixed. Tasty too. Kung Pao chicken has kaju in it and delicious. Recommended.

Breathtaking decor. Variety of extremely tasty & easy on the pocket menu. Polite & courteous staff. Clean washroom. Dishes can be customized to palette which is a big win. Overall this definitely makes it to the favorites list in Hyderabad.

We are Wonton restaurant lovers and has been experiencing its delicacies since 10 yrs. Yesterday we went to wonton (Opp. Cyber Pearl) for dinner and got disappointed because it was closed, My dad asked the security person about it and he confirmed that it got closed some time back. We as Wonton customer would like to ask if the Management is going to open the restaurant at a new location ? We would love to cherish Wonton food as it's amazing.

The Wonton located at the hustling and bustling streets of Hitech city provides a fine dining experience in an oriental setup serves pan asian cuisine in the city.We were invited for a food tasting session for their new menu at a magic pin meet-up. My review for the session is as follows: Soup: The Lung Fung soup is a thick clear cantonese soup had shredded chicken and diced vegetables and Tom Yum soup is a Thai clear soup with prawns flavoured with lemon grass. Both the soup tasted authentic and were perfect to start the evening. Starters: The Hot Green Chilli fish spiced with green chillies had authentic Malay flavours. Crunchy Lamb had crispy fired lamb tossed in cantonese sweet and spicy sauce. Dragon Chicken tossed in sweet and sour sauce with fried cashew nuts. The Pepper Garlic Prawns had butter fried prawns in oyster sauce tossed with a hint of freshly grounded pepper.Chicken Dumplings served with their special green chilly sauce were a Tibetan delight to senses . The Penang Threaded Cottage Cheese is a Malay classic which had paneer blocks coated in ginger garlic chilly sauce enveloped by fried noodles. Schzwan baby corn and mushroom and Chinese stir fry green were crispy and amazing. Main Course: Padh Thai and Padh Thai Thak were Thai classic flat noodles and rice respectively mildly salted with dark soya sauce served with oriental greens sprinkled with crunchy crushed groundnuts. Nasee Goreng and Lachung Chicken also went well as a pair. Desserts: Date Pancake and Hot Chocolate Spring roll Ice-cream were authentic oriental desserts that ended the perfect meal. Ambience: 5/5 Service:5/5 Taste: 4/5 Price: 4/5

The place has nice ambience and the the staff is very nice and quick. We ordered the veg garlic noodles along with Manchurian. it tasted amazing a bit on the spicier side(I like it that way). Definitely worth giving it a try.

I tried in main course Vegetables in chilli bean sauce, nasi goreng fried rice, pad ki Mao noodles. Food quantity was good, noodles and main dish was also good but nasi goreng fried rice could have been better, it tasted just as a normal fried rice. Rice used in it should have been of better quality.

If u like chinese & south east cuisine (thai malesiyan singapore), wonton is one of the best option in Hyderabad. They also introduced new dishes like (pic attached) lotus stem, prawn volcano , fish steak sizzler . Also we have tried phuket fish and thai chilly roasted lamb. All the dishes are mouthwaterly and delicious. They have 2 branches gachibowli and high-tech city with vallet parking option available and differently abled friendly. One can avail car parking in basement.

The staff room as friendly and polite. Had one of the best dumplings in the city. Hidden gym in the city.

Food was fine but the manager was uncourteous. We ordered something and he got something else, he started arguing that we gave the wrong order. When we asked to show the slip on which order was taken, he lied he threw it. We said mistakes happen, need not worry about it but he kept on arguing. Why were they afraid to show the order slip when they are right? The next dish that he gave was full of mud. We didnt want to argue more, so threw the food, paid bill and left the place. Visited thrice before. Never happened that way because that manager wasn't present. Loved the food. Only because of the staff and their immature behavior giving 2 stars. For all 3 previous visits 5 stars from our end. Restaurant management please train the staff, because of their attitude, you lost a family that celebrated special occasions there. Will never go there again.

One of the best places I have been to in Hyderabad for Chinese cuisine experience and I must say it was good. We hadĀ schezwan noodles, momos fried rice and some chicken starter. It was very good and had a good experience as well.
Once there was a hair in my dish and i informed the staff about that against which they repeated the dish after re-preparing it.

Yesterday I visited there with a friend in the evening time.
Ambience was good.
Saw the menu,it was somewhat overpriced for me.
Ordered Veg Pan fried noodles with Manchurian .
It was good in taste and the quantity was also very good .
Service can be improved overall.

Ambience is fine.... Soups are nice.... Starters are avoidable.... Chicken fried rice was excellent.... Chilli chicken gravy was nice too... Hardly any crowd... Polite staff... Would go back for the wonton soup and the fried rice...

The Wonton serves Thai, Chinese and Malay cuisine and has two branches ā€“ Gachibowli and HiTech. The one in HiTech has been operational for around 4 years while the Gachibowli branch has served the city for over 10 years.

Ambiance is really good , Service is top notch. Items like dragon chilly mushrooms , Chilli garlic noodles and Main courses in Chilly/Pepper Sauce are yummy. Been here a couple times , We always left satisfied. The restaurant took our feedback every time we went and provided us great service. Would visit again.

Very Courteous and faster delivery

Visited Wonton today. We ordered hot and sour chicken soup, honey chilli crispy chicken as starter and Shanghai fried rice and general Tao's favourite chicken for the Main course. The service was prompt and the food was tasty to our palate. Overall a good experience.

One of the staff was so rude. The service was very very very slow even at just 30 pc restraunt capacity. The staff refused to provide me feedback form. Even though the staff saw that a particular waitor behaved badly theamager did not make an attempt to approach me. I strongly do not advice anyone to visit this restrauntal and my low raaltingnisbbecausebof my overral bad experience.

The place is a little costly. The service is very good but the chopsey is not something you would want to try there. However, the cusines are authentic and the place is not very crowded. Its peaceful and is worth a visit.

Would have given 4 if they could serve the items listed in their menu, we had to re-think on our order twice or thrice before finally concluding as most of the items we ordered were not available (mostly Thai)
Apart from that food is good, the ambiance is ok and service was ok as well, although we faced power outage problem a bit. Dragon chilly mushrooms and Thukpa are my fav here, subject to availability.

All in all, a good Chinese restaurant in the nearby location of hi-tech city and Madhapur.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in town..

Great value for money, especially when you are a zomato gold member.

Try American chopsuey and crispy shredded lamb in oyster sauce here..

Good place with nice ambiance. Service was the best i've ever received. We've orderd 8 pot treasure and Hong kong noodles both items were great. You must definitely try this place if you are into Chinese food.

Wonton deserves a 3 rating however downgraded to a 2 rating due to the most rude and over smart order taker Janardhan. The other service staff was actually very good and the gentlemen in the suit just did not care. The soups - Lemon Coriander and Garlic Veg were actually good. Main course was very average- Soft Noodles, wonton fried rice, Eight Treasure Veg, exotic veg in basil sauce. Both the vegetable dishes had more corn flour thickened sauce than vegetables. Restaurant was empty during lunch and they had no really excuse to dish out such mediocre food. Requires management attention.

I visited this restaurant today with my two young kids. As my kids are sensitive to water born diseases , especially in rainy season we carry home boiled water to each restaurant, including 5 stars. To my surprise, the manager at this restaurant objected in rude manner even after yelling that the water is for kids. We left the place without eating and will never visit again. Very bad experience.
Niket Shrivastava
Bad service and very boring atmosphere. Coming to food, it is just not good if you are in a mood to eat good Chinese food after a long time. Customer service is overlooked at times. I had asked for zomato gold after the bill was generated as i forgot (was with my guest) to mention it upfront n the restaurant manager simply refused to accept.
Harsh Gupta
The worst staff I have ever seen in my life. Only ambience is good, neither the food nor the waiters. Illiterate and idiot people. Asked a waiter for normal onions he said they donā€™t have in kitchenšŸ˜‚ Attitutde of manager is not good. Guys donā€™t come to this place. Thanks Zomato for providing the feedback column where I can write the reality.

Good Ambiance. Excellent Service. Kitchen is visible from dine area which is good. We ordered Dragon chicken, Thai chilly hot poato and Chicken Dumplings as starters. Dragon chicken is juicy and tangy. Thai chilly hot potato is excellent. Chicken dumplings were good. Main course we ordered Wonton Chicken Chopsuey. Crispy fried noodles with tasty saucy chicken were served. Overall itā€™s a great experience at Wonton Hitech City.
Medha
We ordered pan fried noodles, golden fried prawns and chilly chicken. The chilly chicken tasted pathetic, it was not authentic chinese chilly chicken! Since it was mentioned under Malaysian dishes i was skeptical while ordering it. The waiter assured it is authentic chinese chilly chicken. The chicken was made with red chilly paste (tasted similar to tom yum paste) and it didn't go well with our palette! The table beside us had hair in their food! Although the pan fried noodles and other items were good but they have to educate their waiters so that they give better suggestions to the customers..
Jayanth Velagapudi
Decent food. Dragon Chicken is a must try here. The one who took the order have explained about the dishes and asked what spice levels do we want. Gave a 4 star because even after repeated requests no one bothered to turn on the A.C.

I been to this place twice.

First time my experience was okayish.
But second time, it is worst. Service was too slow.
On the above of that food was not great.
When I told the same thing to manager, instead of accepting, he started arguing.
Ambience is the one and only thing left which is good.
Overall, I felt this place is waste of money.
Jatin Mishra
This was a very good restaurant, but what happened today was not acceptable. First they served cold food. Then when we complained they just reheated the same food and served us with less quantity, because half of the food served was cold so that was scraped. Later for our surprise noodles were served with stone. Highly disappointed.

This place is situated at Hi-tech City , Hyderabad. I visited the place today. The Ambience was awesome. Sitting arrangements were very comfortable.

Coming to the food. We took Chicken Hakka Noodles, Chicken Wonton Rice, Kung pao Chicken , Shredded Lamb with Oyster sauce. Every item tasted very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Only service could have been a bit better.

Zomato asks us to be polite and friendly, however to get a good review you need to provide a good service!!
They have literally just sent STALE chicken Lollipop.
I had ordered for two while they sent only 1 and that too stale. Now I canā€™t even get a refund of my complete order and live with what i have not received. RIDICULOUS!!!
Guys Be careful of what you get yourself into!

Hungry for good and reasonable Asian and Chinese food? Then this is your best bet! Love the pad Thai phak (spicy Thai fried rice) and salt and pepper chicken.

The restaurant manager is warm and friendly and always polite and welcoming. I love this place and no matter how many other places open but this one shall remain on my list forever! šŸ˜
Rahul Anandani Narayan - let's go again this weekend!

Love
Hina & Rahul

Food - 5/10
Ambience - 8.5/10
Food presentation - 8/10
I ordered crispy chicken ,which was really very hard ,it was really difficult for me to chew the chicken.

This was my second visit here for lunch on Friday. The staff was different from the last time I visited. The new staff is not familiar with the menu items and only couple of them could speak languages other than telgu!

We ordered the Crispy lamb, thai chicken wings, honey chilli, chicken thukpa, bamboo shoot fried rice and kawloon prawn curry.

I requested the server and the restaurant manager for sone lemon with the chicken wings to tone down the spiciness to suit my palate and was very unapologetically refused multiple times inspite of it being available in their kitchen. A cup of molten vanilla ice cream was offered as a condolence for not serving the lemons
The lamb could hardly be tasted through the thivk batter coating and the honey chilli chicken was too dry. The bamboo rice was just about average. The saving grace was the kawloon prawn curry.

Overall it was a very disappointing experience with a very slow service.

Food: 3
Ambience: 3
Service: 2
Value for money: 2.5
Overall: 2.5

This place used to be one of my favourites but unfortunately it is no longer capable of providing its best services. Today I went there for dinner with my family and I was shocked to see the chilly vinegar covered with fungus. The staff there did not even saw that !!! The food quality has degraded a lot !! Not a best place for Chinesse food anymore.

It's my visit after 4 years and this is equally mouth licking. All the dishes were very good and tasty. Most favourite was dragon chicken. Quantity was really good

The Wonton offers a wide range of cuisine with wide spread varieties of dishes.

Tried Schezwan babycorn and mushroom, Fish steak and Phad Thai phak. All tasted good.

Ambinace was good with Oragami birds and low lighting. Service was good and friendly, they helped in choosing the dishes.

Wanna try a different dish in new cuisine, head here without any doubts.
Location is really good... one does not have to search for the place, its on road.... food is also nice but they take little time to serve the food... Staffs are really polite and well behaved which is really good... momo was absolutely authentic.. Have tried momo in 5-6 places but this place serves the best amongst all...

Food tasted really damn damn good. The soups were hot and spicy. The Manchuria tasted bliss. Ambience is also good.most importantly, it is very near to my officešŸ˜€

Ordered american chopsuey . different dish for me .had it first time because of gold subscription 1+1 offer. Its a good taste .healthy and hygiene but for me slightly costly.

Cockroach is what we saw on the table, in the plate, and around the place, even though we didn't order it neither was it dead.

Staff knew nothing about what is it be done, manager was not present at the restaurant. Worst experience I have ever had.

Located in Hitec City, Wonton is our Office folks go to Pan Asian cuisine place since forever. We have our team lunches at Wonton and never have any complaint at all.

They make the most delicious starters I've had at Chinese places with utmost consistency.

Worth a visit if you love Chinese cuisine especially the one bite starters.

Ambience was nice. Service was great as well. They were very polite. But food was not up to the mark. Could have been more tastier. Price was great as well.

I tried in main course Vegetables in chilli bean sauce, nasi goreng fried rice, pad ki Mao noodles. Ambience- The place is so beautifully decorated.
The theme of everything on display will make you feel closer to the cuisine.

Food- I went full Kung Fu Panda as soon as the food arrived, from finger licking slurpy soup noodles to gorgeous steamed dumplings. You want to have it all, trust me.

Service- It's up to the mark and the steward will help you with whatever you need.

Making Chinese food more loveable.
#MandateVisit

Food is good, not great. But Ambience is something that I really liked. We have ordered a starter and a main course and it was sufficient for 2 people, so quantity wise it is value for money.

Wanted to share a very bad experience at wanton hi-tech city I think after a long time had such bad Chinese food.we had ordered chicken lollylop and Singapore noodles after a long deliberation as the waiter could not help much either the order. The lollylop was more of a drumstick which the chef didn't know it seems and what should I say the lollylop didn't have much of a chicken in it it was a huge ball of batter which was raw from inside and whatever little chicken was inside that it was not at all fresh and so chewy it took a lot of effort to eat that.coming to the chicken Singapore noodles the taste was OK OK but there was hardly any chicken in it don't take me to be too harsh but I think the chef whoever he was should stop calling himself that. The most amusing part is that the manager came to us to ask us about the food when I told him everything clearly he didnt seem to understand that one should offer to replace the dish or maybe give a bill discount he said I will give the feedback to the chef that's it I was in a good mood yesterday surprisingly even after having such bad food I didn't give him a piece of my mind.if I have to give a rating I will give minus 10 to this place which looks nice but behind the facade serves pathetic food and has a lousy chef.
Sorry for the long post friends but I had to do it.
Jatin Kakkar
Is located on the main road so that's a good start. On the food and service front we we're more than satisfied. Try the Shanghai vegetables and the Paneer skewers.
Madhusha Urlam
Services are pathetic...we were a group of 12 and hardly anybody could eat properly
There was a delay of 10-15 mins for every dish they served. Inspite of requesting multiple times, the staff repeated the same and highly disappointed.
Noodles and Lamb are a 'Please Never Try' things here.
The Phuket Fish is the only thing to talk about here and probably will swiggy it if required šŸ˜
Ankita Roychoudhury
This place serves scrumptious and mouth watering Thai, Malaysian and Chinese food. The staff at this place is quite humble and the food which is served is equally good. If you are visiting this place keep your budget at a higher end but otherwise the price gets balanced with the generous hospitality and the overall ambience of this place. A recommendation would be of having ribbon noodles with any of the side dishes.
Noor Mohammed Zubair
The ambience was really good. Had an amazing time with friends. A really nice place for a quiet and interesting lunch. The food did taste good but the authenticity of the dish was lost. The service was good. Staff was polite and cheery.
Saurav Kumar
Overall it was a good experience. We ordered Pepper chicken, Chilly garlic noodles. Both I found to be tasty and with good portion size. Staffs were also courteous and were asking for onspot feedback of taste.
Must deserve a try.

Wonton is located above the cream stone at the busiest lane of HiTech city main road. Specialises in Chinese, Thai and Malaysian cuisines. Interiors are good which gives Chinese like feels. Being a Zomato gold member I had privilege of 1+1 on food.

We have tried,

āž”ļøPenang Threadded cottage chees: Finger cut cottage cheese marinated with Singapore sauce, soya sauce enveloped with noodles and deep fried served with honey chilli sauce. It was crispy and paneer was soft. Being a Malaysian dish, this felt different to my taste buds.

āž”ļø Vegetable chilly Garlic noodles: Soft noodles sauteed with shredded veggies, chopped garlic and green chillies. It was soft and tasted good with the presence of garlic.

Overall experience was not that good as the restaurant lacked maintaining the hygiene. The restroom was full of tiny cockroaches and there was a tiny cockroach running over our table. Probably better to go during the day, to make sure you don't end up eating any insects.

Ambience: 3/5
Food: 3/5
Service: 3/5
Hygiene: 2/5

Went to this place with my girl friend. The place tries real hard to get the flavour right and succeeds to a huge level. Try the pan fried noodles here.

The place seems mostly for non-vegetarians with very few options for vegetarians. Noodles were pretty good but the quantity of Chopsuey was very less. Ambience was decent. The place seemed with lack of staff.

Good Chinese ambiance with good taste. Located beside of cyber towers but little difficult to notice. Little pricy compared to the service..

We have ordered lamb starter but they served us maidha starter šŸ¤” if you know what I mean??
As we couldn't eat that we have ordered Prawns friend rice . This time they didn't surprise us .As expected there are only 2 prawns in itšŸ˜œ. Service is Ok.

Good place for continental food . Malayasian and singapore countries dishes are good and thanks for the chef to make it out with authentic textures on it . We felt the same of eating continental food here . People who wants to try differently apart from spicy , can definitely walk-in here and feel the experience .

Favourite restaurant for Chinese food. Ambience , service and food all in top class. Budget restaurant for the family and you can enjoy your dinner happily over the weekend

Not your typical oriental place. Very nice menu options. Dishes are very good and nicely prepared. Taste is balanced and no single spice take over. Ambience is also very good.

Booked a table on Valentine's Day, n all the while we were there it felt like the staff did not want to serve us. Three out of the five dishes we wanted order, we were told, were not available. When asked what was good in the veg section, the waiter named just one thing n said nothing else was available. They wouldn't even serve water, had to keep calling them. The food took too long to come n was below average in taste. Service was pathetic. Food below average. Even the AC was erratic...very bad experience, spoilt the mood of the day. Regretted going there. Not likely to visit again n will probably dissuade friends who want to visit there as well.

The chicken lollipop that we had was one of the best that I have tasted. Very good service and tasty food. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try out Chinese.

I went her for a nice Chinese lunch on a breezy Sunday afternoon. It is located just above cream stone. I have tried the Gachibowli outlet prior to this and found it reasonably good. Following is my review on this place-:

Ambiance- Super impressed by the ambiance which was spacious and the ceiling enthralled with red hangings was the best. Identical Buddha face figurines were placed in a row. It had a nice chilled out ambiance. I found the crowd very less for a Sunday. It can easily accommodate 60 people at a time. It had a fine dine to a pub feel. 4.5/5

Service- Nothing outstanding but good. Waiters were quick and attentive. 4/5

Food- We tried the following-:

Vegetable corn soup- Nice and refreshing but nothing different. Nevertheless it was good and simple. 3.5/5

Tom yum chicken soup- My husband loved this. It has a nice tangy taste which tingles your taste buds. 4.5/5

Garlic cottage cheese- Served on skewers, this one was good. It was the best dish I had there that afternoon. I will be a bit biased as I love paneer. 4.5/5

Spring rolls- Sufficient quantity but useless in taste. Had a peculiar taste and I would not recommend it at all. It's weird that a Far eastern restaurant serves such pathetic spring rolls. 1/5

Veg Hakka noodles- Totally tasteless. I can make tastier at home. Again strange as this is the most basic Chinese dish. A tapri guy makes tastier. 1/5

Veg Manchurian - This was good. This actually saved the Hakka noodles. The balls were delicious and the gravy was yummy. Slightly spicy. 4/5

Will I come here again? Yes, sure will come to try other stuff. This is the best Chinese I have had in Hyderabad.

Looks like Wanton does want to retain their customers. I have visited this place few a times earlier, and found okay.Ā However, theĀ last visit was so pathetic. I always loved this place for its green thai curry based rice.Ā But now, when we ordered some other dishes , they were served either cold or were tasteless , when we asked them about it , they said they cannot do anything about it ! which puts us off much more.Ā All we expect is someone would approach us and try to understand the problem, there was an old man, who was overseeing things at the hotel did not even had the courtesy to come and inquire about the problem, and finally we find a cockroach in the cold drink, and when we complained it, he says that they will do a pest control very soon. Now tell me what would you do if you find a cockroach in your drink ??

If you live around Hitech city and you're looking for some amazing Asian food then this place is just for you. Though they're in a hurry in the closing hours they'll make sure that the quality is not compromised.

One more favourite Chinese Restaurant in my list.
I have been here for lunch with my colleagues.
The ambience and taste of the food was very good. Weā€™ve ordered fresh lime soda, dragon chicken, phuket chicken, wonton chicken fried rice, singapore chicken fried rice and lachung chicken.
Service is also quick.
The only con of this place is the car parking.

The ambiance is really really fascinating. The staff behaviour is very humble. One must come during the happy hours to get the best out with more varieties. It has got various kinds of seating arrangement which is very attractive so you can hangout with friends and family anytime.

It was Republic Day lunch out.
We decided to have some Thai food.

I was not happy with the reply when I Asked for description of a food item in the menu in details.

The had red, green, Yellow written, on the food. We asked, why is it so, the reply was simply addition of colors.
The asked to elaborate. There was no such convincing reply.
The staff should know in detail about the items in menu.

Finally we ordered yellow one!! Assuming it to be less spicy. Yes. It was. It was good. Cooked in coconut milk. Very soft smooth chicken.
Good to have with steamed rice.

We ordered rice vermicelli.
I found it to be over priced. 1 - 3 pieces of small chicken and the rice vermicelli can't be 385 bucks, Also considering the quantity. Also much salted.

People going for wonton. Be careful with the choice of food.

Thanks to my Zomato Gold!!
Only good thing about this place is itā€™s ambience.

The service is really slow and food tastes neither authentic chinese nor indo-chinese.
When we gave this feedback to waiter, he couldnā€™t care less.
On the top of it, the manager was really rude when we reported same to him.
All in all, time and money wasted.
Their menu is widespread. So it takes a moment to go through all the items and decide what to eat (in case you don't have specific favourites or cravings)

Food : 3.5/5 food is decent, there's no wow factor but nothing that you will not like. ( Tom yum soup, crunchy lamb, wonton special rice and chicken some gravy - recommended by the waiter)

Portions are big. 2 of us shared a good heavy meal but even then there was enough left to be parceled.

Service: 6/5 I would be a repeat customer only for their customer service. Extremely nice and attentive, prompt service

Ambience : 4/5 oriental decor
FoodieInTown
+ Food is good.
+ Quickly food served.
+ Valet parking is available.
- Late service to take order.
- Washrooms were dirty, uncleaned.
- ACs were not turned on.

5 stars just for food. Don't miss honey chilli potato or Roasted Chilli chicken in starters, one of the best ever had, chicken Pahd thai is flavorful with peanut sauce, and the best main course is Double cooked lamb. If you want to have something lighter go for Wilted Spinach and Chicken salad in non veg or Gado Gado in veg, they are worth every penny.
Wonton has the perfect chindian food and some.authentic Thai malay cuisine as well.

For the past 6 months we have been regularly visiting wonton in hitech city. The only item we order (blame it on our very first order that we made when we first tried this place) is 'Shui Mai' in prawns. This is a kind of dumplings with minced prawns as stuffing, slowly cooked for about 25-30 minutes. We always order 2 plates and I eat 1 all by myself!

The staff is very courteous especially Me Stephen who takes our order and makes sure the guests are taken care of. Since this takes good half an hour, we call the restaurant and place the order before hand.

If given an option I can literally live on shui mai! šŸ˜

Ambicare and food both were very good. The behavior of the staff was nice too. Overall had a great experience. I recommend to go if you would like to taste Chinese delicious.

Management should take a look at this place. When place is empty rather 2 or 3 tables only, u expect good food and service for sure. Never seen Chilly vinegar at this state. Napkins are dirty. Wait for water to be served till the time you die. Food has gone down below par. I cant say even average. Basics items like chk lollipop, prawn salt and pepper, ma chao soup, Egg fried rice, chicken hakka noodles. Egg fried will get served with egg shell and salt extra. A restaurant chef and a restaurant manager are the captains. Either they can sail you through or get it drown. Worst experience guys. Have time to buckle up.

Been there today for lunch. Hardly any crowd in view of festival holidays. Hence thought we will get better attention and service. But not so. It was just average. Attitude could have been better. One of the veg dishes ā€œ Eight treasureā€ was just not good and was blank in taste. There was a feel of extra cinnamon. We had possibly two spoons tasted and left it. Informed the bearer about it and he didnā€™t have any courtesy to take it up with Chef or didnā€™t even say a sorry!! That was not good. We were fully charged for the same in the bill despite the feedback. Service and attitude makes a restaurant. I sincerely hope this will get corrected. Otherwise Wonton is a place we like and have frequented the Gachibowli location before.

We want to try some chinese, so we went there. Ambience was decent. Manchurian was awesome, and noodles were also good. Service was nice. Manager was really concerned about their food and service.

Overlooking the Hitec Mindspace road, this place has a pretty good oriental family restaurant vibe all the way through. They serve a wide range of Indo-oriental food starting from Chinese to Thai and Malaysian, moderated to serve the Indian audience.Ā

Moving forth with my experience of food, we ordered in a Spicy Wonton Soup to start with along with Crispy Corn Chilly Pepper and Dragon Chilly Mushrooms. The serving size of the soup seemed a little less. The Corn and Mushrooms were great though, slightly spicy, but nonetheless delectable. And the quantity was also good. We then ordered Vegetable Dumplings. I expected a few more pieces for the price, but then again the serving size was standard. After the experience of multiple small servings we decided to order larger quantity of the Pan Fried Noodles, but this one was in huge quantity. Plus it tasted so bland. The quantity of veggies and everything else in the sauce was good, just that there wasn't enough spice to give it some taste in the least. Anywho that was a heavy meal.

Overall I would say, the service was a bit slow; ambience was decent; serving size was inconsistent; overall price, I would say pocket friendly. Moderate recommendations from me. There are other places with better Oriental cuisine (check my dineline, if you are interested). You can use your Zomato Gold here on the food though.

#SpamAlert: In case, you're looking for a referral code, use SIDHANF For what it's worth, you get Zomato credits worth INR250, free.

We visited this place on 30th December, 2018. It was chilly winter night and we got craving for some oriental cuisine! So we decided to give "The Wonton", Hi-Tech city branch, a try. So let's get started with the review.

Ambiance
=============
The waiting space(the gate) was very well decorated with fairy lights as it was New Year eve. The restaurant had a very cozy feel to it. It's bit dimly lit, but goes well with the theme. Overall, loved the vibes. Ratings - 4/5.

Service
=============
We were promptly seated and the waiters were very courteous.Ā We were a bit confused with the Menu and we were very ably guided by the person, who took our order. Food was delivered pretty quick as well. So overall I am satisfied in this aspect.Ā Ratings - 4/5.

Food
=============
Yeah, that's the main deal! We ordered for crispy chicken wings, which tasted pretty average. It was a bit of disappointment, as the starter was not upto the mark. But then came the Main course, "Chicken Pahd Thai". The quantity was sufficient for two of us. Oh boy! it was really yummy! Its basically a rice noodles, topped up with bell pepper, paneer, chicken, vegetables, what not! A bit on sweeter side, it just made up the night! Brownie points , just for this dish! Ratings -4/5.

Value for Money
==============
Generally Oriental cuisines are always heavy on the pocket. But I must admit, "The Wonton" have still kept prices at a very competitive range. With just 600 bucks and the taste of "Chicken Pahd Thai" still lingering in my mouth, I would say, its reasonable! Ratings - 3.5/5.

Let's fetch the calculator now,

Rating = (Ambiance + Service + Food + VFM)/4 =3.875

Final Thoughts

----------------------

If you are thinking for Oriental cuisine, I believe you won't be disappointed to give this place a try. But to be on the safer side, do check the dishes which they prepare best, from Zomato reviews. I bet, you will just love this place. Give it a try!

First mistake was to visit on new yearā€™s night. Not a happy new year for me. Service was very slow. Had to ask for water and napkins for four times. Staff did not care.
Second mistake, I ordered yellow thai curry. It was full of galangal (sort of ginger/turmeric taste). It wasnā€™t edible at all. After telling this to staff, they refused to cancel/replace or even taste the dish. Instead they tried educating me on yellow thai curry. After more arguments, they added more coconut milk to dilute. By the time i had lost my appetite.

I've visited it wid my frnd. ambience was fine,so was the food.food was ordinary enough but was yummy .I din't get to try much there and the menu is very limited thus will be easy to choice may bešŸ˜œ. Anyways good place to hangout and u'll enjoy it with some good company.

It has Chinese, Malaysian and Thai food.
Dragon chicken is a must try. Their golden prawns was not impressive at all. Overall, if you like asian (Non-Indian) cuisine, this place is recommended. If you expect the Indian style spicy/masala rich food, it won't satisfy your needs
Minsoh Gastronomy
We stopped here for a quick bite. Tried the Chicken satay which was average in taste. Quality of chicken was good. They serve a dessert made of coconut and comes along with a a scoop of ice cream. Very unique I must say.

#RecentVisit
Visited this restaurant this weekend only.
As we where only two of us so couldn't taste more dishes.
We order veg clear soup and chicken Lung Fung soup, both of them tasted decent.
In starter we ordered chilly cottage cheese. It's a simple preparation of chilly planner but what I liked about the dish was the mix of spices which gave it some Indian flavour to it.
In main course we order Wanton fried rice and Eight treasure pot. Both of them tasted good.
All in all a pretty good experience :)

So the craziest thing happened here. We went in for a dinner and couldn't finish most of our food and wanted to get the leftovers packed to take away. The manager of whoever runs this place decided to not give the food to us because we were availing zomato gold. He started by saying that it was zomato's policy that the complimentary item couldn't be taken away. He brought out the policy booklet and we pointed out that it wasn't zomato's policy, it's mentioned that this can or can not be done on the restaurant's descretion. When we said that you would rather waste the food than parcel it for us, this guy says that's our business. Now I am not saying if it was right or wrong, but yeah I am never going back to this place
