Review Saranggi Restaurant - Hyderabad

Srivishnu Kalavala
It’s a good pure vegetarian buffet option for someone who is looking for buffet! Even it’s budget friendly compared to many other buffet restaurants! On weekdays it is priced at 550 plus gst! Payment options are upi, card and Dineout are available and u will get discount on payment through Dineout app! Food was good, two kinds of welcome drinks, two soups and two starters were there! Love counter had chat like pani puri dahi puri bhelpuri and sev puri, along with a paneer item although menu in live counter will be changing day be day taste seems to be good! People serving food need to be careful! Main course was routine!

It's a very good place for pure vegetarian buffet at a budget friendly pricing. The ambience was aesthetic with live music. The Flutist played amazingly. If you want to spend a quality time with your family and have some good food this is the place. They have a chat counter, Dosa counter, the starters and soup are served fresh and hot.

Best place to have vegetarian buffet on a weekend. Costs around 550+ tax per person. Starters and soup provided at table. Live classical music is performed. Amazing ambience and great service by the staff. Be sure to get there by 12:30 PM to avoid waiting. Vallet parking is available.

Tasty Vegetarian breakfast , Lunch and dinner with lot of varieties.

I love the idea of a buffet breakfast especially on a Sunday!! And these guys have such a wide variety of South Indian options - and they have great taste too! For INR 300, it's super cheap with the quality of food there is. They have the typical South Indian options - (cute little) mini dosas, idli, vada, pongal etc, with 3 different options for chutneys -- very delicious! Other options are fruits, porridge, parathas. One section which sort of doesn't go with the vibe is the one with bread-y options. Though they're just 2-3 options like strudels, fruit cake etc, it's seemed like it's been kept for people who may not prefer south indian food. They were very average by taste as well. So can do without that option. Oh, the kesri bath is YUM. I was unfortunately too stuffed with the rest of the delish food, but definitely try the kesri bath! Came here only once, look forward to coming here more often. :)

Food was excellent, ambience was great only the starters were served a bit late and naan and kulchas were served only when they were asked for!!! On the whole worth the price with many dishes. They charged ₹570/ per person including taxes. Paan charges are extra. To conclude we had a great memorable day👍👍 sorry I am not sure with the correct price of the buffet, but close to the above mentioned price.

One of the very good -Vegetarian Only Buffets- in Hyderabad. Although it is Dakshina Mandapa they also serve Flat Indian Breads( Tandoori Rotis, Naans etc ) . Lunch Buffets every day. Good spread of Salads and Desserts. Only walk ins on Saturday and Sunday & First Come First Served. Other weekdays they accept Reservations. Tasty Starters & Soups.

Located on SD Road and attached to Taj Tristar, it's quite a large restaurant. Dine-in is available with all post-COVID precautions. I went there because it had been highly recommended, and after reading the reviews. I would rate the decor, the general ambience highly, the service exemplary, (I didn't have to wait much, neither to get the order fulfilled, nor for refills), but somehow I didn't feel that the food was as good as the reviews suggested. No doubt it was good and worth the price, but it didn't match my expectations. The menu has several items, purely vegetarian cuisine, depending on the time of the day. I found the prices to be pretty reasonable and competitive with similar establishments in the twin cities.
Sekhar R
The best buffet. They have good variety food and everything tasted good. Gongura rice, deserts, noodles, starters, soup are my fav. Their hospitality is top notch. Will definitely visit it.
Divya C
A good restaurant with reasonable prices (550 for buffet) with decent range of food items. Quality and Quantity of food was good, but could be better. Friendly staff and excellent service. Ambience was fine with comfortable wooden seating. Special mention to the flutist for the pleasant music.

Some places take your heart in first visit only. This restaurant is one of that kind. We went there very hungry. And it filled our hearts. The restaurant basically remains open 24*7. We have been there for breakfast in which South Indian was available. We had rawa dosa and poori bhaji. Both were very yummy and cheap in price. Then we had filter coffee twice. I have never had such coffee. It was awesome. The bill was very nominal too. I suggest you..if you are Hyderabad and feeling hungry.. straightway go to TMH restaurant.

All the prices on zomato are wrong and it is a high priced place with not good food. Online price for paneer tikka is 170 on google & 200 on zomato and they charged us 260.and the taste was also nott hat good. It is a high priced place and the service was very slow , they took 40 minutes to prepare paneer tikka.

Whoever branded this as a restaurant must immediately leave their job🙏 I've been to several places in Hyderabad but this has been my worst ever experience. They bought us wrong orders which we never placed, also the orders which we placed were not even average. The Manchurian tasted like rubber and was not even crunchy. They seem to be very fond of pepper, sprinkled a lot of it on all our dishes. Staff was not at all trained. Snatched my plate while I was still eating my food. Maybe they knew that I cannot eat their food.

Very Very waste restaurant Menu is wrong which shown in Zomato. Very Very high cost taste is very bad I am totally dissatisfied. Very bad not at all good service hhioeud iueoegeoe

Had visited the place for lunch we ordered Thali food was not at all good tasteless, no difference between south Indian Thali and north Indian Thali only change was pathetic sweet paneer curry total waste of money and time I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Staff argues not worth even one star

Cockroach in food!<br/>Rotten vegetables!<br/>Soiled papad!<br/>Kitchen extremely unhygienic n rats running around! ( Yeah! I did visit the kitchen)<br/>Pickles / sauces / chutneys left open with flies all over it!<br/>Wow! Whatta dinner experience!<br/><br/>

We ordered noodles. Cabbage had artificial color. It was visible on noodles. Other items were also sub par in taste. Horrible quality of food.

The food is extremely tasty... Quantity and quality both are very good. Most awesome restaurant in this part of the town. Chinese bhel and paneer curries are mouth watering and definitely worth a try.<br/><br/>

Disappointed!! We ordered for a tandoori veg plater .. and 3 of us together couldn't even eat half of it even after trying hard.. I'm not talking about the quantity but the taste.. the pic below is all of it that was left out after trying a lot to eat it!! The hara bhara kabab (mostly) was burnt on outside and not cooked at all inside.. in fact most of them were like that.. I couldn't even guess which kebab I'm eating .. 3/5 of the varieties were not cooked properly at all.. panner tikka had no taste at all.. I felt like I was eating raw panner.. the munchurian tandoor was the only thing edible.. just edible!!<br/>

Had the North Indian thali. It was hopeless. There were not many dishes in the thali. There were two very similar vegetable dishes which were practically the same.

Went with family and had North Indian Thali and Tomato soup.<br/>It was no more than a rice plate available at tiffin centers.<br/>Service was also not upto standards.<br/>An over-rated, over priced place.
Kashish Mittal
The first restaurant I dined in Secunderabad, a friend brought me here, situated in so called Sindhi colony, we ordered a tomato soup, a ginger paneer, masala papas and veg fried rice. To be honest the food was great, looks good, taste good, and service was quite good. Pricing was also very affordable.<br/><br/>An unexpected surprise. Keep it up
Lekha
Ambience -3<br/>Food-2.5<br/>Over priced outlet which is not worthy.<br/>Its a casual dine out.veg biryani was ok.veg Palau was not really a great choice.Manchuria was good.

The worst experience at saranggi! Ordered paneer butter masala and methi Chaman! Methi wasn't properly washed and had some mud particles! It have a very bad feeling! Paneer was terrible as well! Hardly any planner pieces. Please don't visit saranggi! Don't waste Ur money

Had been on a Sunday with family. After understanding Sunday's we kept patience and waited for 1.15hrs. After getting a table were jus sitting for half an hour idle. None of them attended. Finally asked one for service. His reply was " ask the person who gave u the table "<br/><br/>Wow. I lost all. Shouted and shouted and back. Food never tasted but now wil never enter there. <br/><br/>They Lost a customer due to service not food.

Had been here with my family for dinner. To start with the ambience, it is a decent place and easy to locate. But the food was a bit disappointing to us. Ordered tandoori Manchurian.. which not at all looked like it was cooked in tandoor. Very poor taste too. Then we had paneer malai tikka. It was soft but very very sweet. Have tried this dish at many other place and yes it is a bit on the sweeter side, but this was way too much to handle. :(<br/><br/>For the main we didn't experiment too much just went with paneer butter masala and veg toofani. The paneer butter masala was the only dish I enjoyed. <br/>

A good vegetarian northindian food.! The place is decent and is usually crowded on weekends being at a centre location.! The service and food both are good.! I liked the corn cernels and the panner varieties.! The dal fry is good.!<br/>Value for money-4/5<br/>Food-3.5/5<br/>Ambience-3/5

Very bad service lyk cum on its soo irritating they 1st tell buffet is there then they tell only for a group of 10 people its the worst hotel one wud ever visit food is average price is high for the portion they give a big no guys please save ur money indeed spend it some where worthwhile lastly never expected the management is hoplesse and lazy to the core as they don't even serve the food and keeping dropping things. The worst hotel ever never visit

It's a family diner with average ambience and food. Manchow soup was good but the Chinese platter starter wasn't. Corn kernels were good, chilly paneer and manchurian tasted like tomato sauce. I liked the main course. The tandoori rotis were well made. Service was prompt even though the staff was stressed because of almost full restaurant.

Had to go to Secunderabad on official work. Somehow I don’t like to visit the hotels nearby areas of railway station. Had no option and started looking for a decent restaurant to have quick lunch. I landed on PG road, a bit far from the station and this one immediately caught my attention. Went in and ordered North Indian thali. It is not very great, but good enough for the price they charge (170/-). Thali consisted Masala poori, roti(they served two rotis), Aloo mutter, Bhendi fry, Paneer butter masala, Dhal, rice, Buttermilk and sweet. Masala poori is really good. Out of the curries, Bhendi fry has been good. Sweet is so so. Overall is good. Even the interiors are fine and service is also being good. Will be surely visiting for ala-carte section in future.

Another finest and one of my favourite Vegetarian restaurant in town.... sober ambiance quality food .. Chinese bhel is a must try at this place other then paneer and biryani
Cuisine Bull
Place is little Sad according to me. It's like big hall filled with random tables and chairs. Now here comes the best part we ordered at 1:55pm and got our order at 2:30. What we ordered Simple Corn Kebab, Veg Toofani, two Rotis and dal Makhani. Now come on! They took 35 minutes to get this much. Food was highly okay for me. I don't know why they bring veg dishes in form of non veg. Corn kebabs were Cold, I suppose they just reheated previous leftovers. Okay those who love Spicy than this is place for you. Veg Toofani for my palate was too spicy also dal Makhani. <br/>All in all average experience for me. <br/>Food 2.5/5<br/>Service 1.5/5<br/>Ambience:2/5<br/>Value for money :1/5<br/>Recommend to my Friends: Noooope

Paneer toofani was just minced VEG Manchuria gravy and less if paneer, tasted very average. Next was handi biryani which was smelling of stale peas ,the waiter argued that it was mint leaves and it was tasteless literally. The reason I feel the didn't taste fresh was there aren't too many people visiting to have an active kitchen. We enjoyed roti & naan.
Kotak Poojan
I went there with my wife this weekend for dinner. We ordered butter naan, veg tufani and shahajahani pulao. Naan was really soft and subzi had a decent taste it was just perfect not very spicy not very dull. The exciting thing about this place is, service is awesome. Staff is very attentive and polite. Overall it made our dinner perfect.

Tried Buffet and truly it isn't a buffet. If choose buffet option, they end up serving unlimited food from the limited menu. no choice of soup, only 2 starters, no dessert, 2 curry, awful pulav, and small scoop ice cream. Surprisingly no dessert at all !!! <br/>The worst part was the gutter in front of hotel was overflowing. Vyak :-(
Hari
Good food that preserves the taste of the items as opposed to just making it crazy spicy like many others do. Happy with this "new find" that I chanced upon. Would recommend this place if you are in the area

Tried this veg restaurant today saranggi at sindhi colony.. saw tandoori manchurian on the menu somthing new gave it a try and it was not that good. Ginger paneer was ok... it was saucy.. overall ot was just average place

This resturant is on pg road opposite to bapu bagh colony lane..<br/>A very good resturant with nice ambience for families..<br/>Having a huge muticuisine menu they are one of the best in vicinity..<br/>Paneer kadai and stuff naan are awesome over here..<br/>Overalla a fine dine restuant with good food...

I have been here with friends on a no-non veg day, and I would give this place a moderate thumbs up rating. It's not packed and the staff is very polite, service isn't too delayed or anything. We'd ordered butter paneer, naans, and dal, and all of it was very VFM and good to eat without any heaviness that usually sets in when one has creamy/buttery curries. Shall visit this restaurant again to try out their best dishes soon!

Awesome restaurant... Nice food and pretty good Ambience, service being quick ..added advantage pure vegetarian restaurant...regarding price its worth it.

I've been here quite a few times with family and friends and this place has never disappointed me. The ambience is simple and sober. The food is great but the service a little slow. If you are a fan of kebabs then you must try Saranggi Tandoori Platter. The kebabs are tasty but a bit dry. The Veg. Toofani, as the name says, is spicy and vegetables are cooked just right. The naan is soft but smaller than the usual size. You will definitely have a good meal at Saranggi.

Another Veg restaurant in Sindhi Colony.. Nothing out of the blue, but can give it a try! I felt the buffet was over priced though! The ala carte is better.. We went in for tandoori mushroom which were pretty good! For the mains we had garlic naan with palak paneer..(the naans definitely needed more garlic).. And had their veg Hakka noodles with garlic sauce. Which was the best part of the evening. Can give it a try!

We had visited this place last Sunday. We had ordered for the north Indian thali. The thali was good.we were served a Methi puri and rotis and rice with aloo mutter, Paneer masala and two types of daal. The aloo mutter was delicious but Paneer was very bland. The dals were tasty. I would suggest them to include a dry item in their thali. The gulab jamun was okay.<br/>It was priced at 170rs which I felt was value for money.<br/>
Sreejith Thadavana Kandi
I ordered one dish after reading the reviews.<br/>Harabara kabab was the worst dish I ever had in my life very salty and oily... Chutney with it was even worse..<br/>Ambience is good... <br/>Reviews and rating is not worth it... <br/><br/>

Having read some good reviews about this place, I was here with a couple of cousins on a Sunday afternoon. The place was brightly lit and had neat interiors. We made ourselves comfortable at a corner table.<br/><br/>They had a pretty decent menu, with quite a few starters. The Stuffed Mushrooms sounded really interesting, and so I asked for the same, but it was unavailable. I asked for a paneer starter and they didn’t have that either. Apparently, they don’t make their special dishes on Sundays (this was the reason given). Strange! Anyway, we ordered Chilli Baby-corn and Haryali Spring Rolls (which surprisingly was available). For the main course, we ordered some kinda special Kofta curry along with Naan and Roti.<br/><br/>The Baby-corn was served in about 10 minutes. While they looked good, the corn wasn’t fresh and the batter too seemed stale. Therefore, the dish turned out to be more or less a disaster. <br/><br/>The Spring Rolls took quite a while, and were presented. Instead of using regular crepes, these were made with spinach. The stuffing was very masaledar unlike the usual, and tasted pretty good. I would have liked them to be more crispy though. <br/><br/>These guys were very particular about presentation and this was apparent with the Kofta, which again looked really colourful. The kofta balls were soft and well cooked while the gravy was slightly spicy. however, it tasted pretty decent. The Butter Naan could have been better.<br/><br/>Overall, it was an average meal, and not great as I’d expected. The fact that I don’t even remember the name of the Kofta I ordered says something. The service was pretty lethargic, and the fact that they didn’t make specials on a Sunday was a put off. The quantity of food served was good, but the prices being charged were no less either; 800 bucks for two starters, a curry and rotis is quite a lot. You could give this place a try if you’re close by, but it’s not something worth driving to.<br/><br/>Food: 7.5/10<br/>Service: 6/10<br/>Ambiance: 7/10<br/>Meal for 3: Rs. 825/

Nice place,amazing paneer!!!!

saranggi the name itself refers as 100 colours of food, and they maintain their brand name and i'm loving the food there, actually me and my gf has visited this place yesterday night and from their welcome for us till we left the restaurant was so amazing as like five star restaurants instead for me it is 5 star restaurant because the dish what i had their was just so damn amazing it was paneer tufani and handi biryani which i have ordered for. And the taste of it was never expected for me personally. As being a foody i'm just loving the food of saranggi and i prefer only the saranggi but i would also mention and compare saranggi dishes with jalpaan  just 5 blocks side the food what they serve i cant mention the single dish because every dish they made is utter waste and my gf always prefer only saranggi fr having a delicious food and i mention that my gf is not so being a foody she turned to foody after having food in saranggi. so, please do visit the restaurant and make your day like i had.  SARANGGI keep doing the good work.

Nice family place for veg food. Liked the typical north Indian taste. The person taking order told us that Malai Kofta would be sweet. We like sweet taste so accepted. We told no chili to be added to either paratha or curry and they followed this exactly. So we enjoyed non spicy veg food and really relished it. Malai Kofta is cooked in a white coconut milk and cream gravy. The Kofta is made of potato and paneer. The kofta was very soft and tasty with no spice. We had Alu paratha and masala kulcha without green chili. The menu card indicates food which are spicy and hot so it is easy to select. They also have some signature items. Should try them later. Service is also fast.

One of the. Very good restaurant on P G road. Their quality of service is very good. They serve amazing chinese food and sorabas. I simply love this restaurant and one of ideal restaurant for weekends. In term of service they are much better compared to jalpaan which is just five blocks away. I would prefer sarangi to jalpaan anyday simply for their quality of service. They shall also start home delivery to attract more customers

A perfect choice for we veggies. I just the love Mushroom specials here and the mouthwatering delicious SIZZLERS. Both Paneer and Mushroom they just cook fabulous and just yumnnnnn. When you love the food don't look at menu card for prices. Service is bit slow but its really worth the penny you pay. When we decide to have lunch/dinner then my first choice will be Saranggi.<br/><br/>Food: 5/5<br/>Ambiance: 4.5/5<br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Value for Money:5/5
