What can one say about Vegetable Markets? They are good!! You get almost all types of Veggies. There are Grocery Stores, Pooja needs Stores, Bangle Stores, Medical Stores, Poultry Stores, Ayurveda Stores apart from More Supermarket...all this in one place!! Dotted along the lines! You also have a Grain Wholesale Store. You get Flowers, Beetle Nut Leaves, Fresh Fruits, etc here. Nallakunta Vegetable Market is a very popular place since ages. The place is known by this Vegetable Market. Long back, there was even a Local Bus which had a Nallakunta Vegetable Market stop. They stopped plying that route as the road got congested due to large crowds increasing over the years!

This market is very famous for vegetables, flowers n pooja items!!! You can get different items in one place, always rush in evening times!! Especially in festival times very busy place., Can't even get parking place

It is street in Nallakunta area with vegetable carts on both sides of the road selling fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers making it too narrow for vehicle flow. Started on a small scale 50 years ago, it has become a wider one with shops all over selling groceries and pickles and packing for abroad the speciality of the area for which people come from far off places.

The best place to shop for all your telugu's vegetebale needs. You get all and sundry items for most of the religious cermonies including banana leaves. It was a great pleasure shopping there on a weekly basis as an eleven year old girl from 1975 to 2005, and occassionally now as wehad to relocate . Missed the first generation sellers now, only a very few of them still there to recognise me. The second generation manning the shops are a bit shrewd. The SM traders Kirana shop since1976 or 1977 is a nice shop for all your kirana needs where in you give them the list and things are kept ready. Their warangal mirchi karam (chilli powder) and aava podi (mustard powder)for the aavakaya (mango pickle)are the best in the world. You also get the best mangoes for the pickles in the vegetable market and can have them cut to pieces of your choice (should use your skills selecting the right mangoes).People still come from far flung areas during the pickle season making it a very busy place. You can also shop for fruits , flowers and panleaves. What a shift to see the vast open place of coal depot which was a land mark for address, shift into a concrete jungle called Windsor Plaza. It now houses SL diagnostics and my favourite optician Eye Needs apart from several other commercial shops. Writing this review has been a walk down the memory lane of my life , turning me nostalgic.

We find here vegetables, Fruits, Flowers & etc,....., with very reasonable prices.... Cool atmosphere.., We can go by walk 👣only- from shankermutt temple.. RTC Busses won't go inside.
