Tasty food typical Dhaba style roti's are served here... Ordered methi chaman and the smoky flavor of it is just awesome simply loved it.😋 suitable for friends, family Last time i visited on Sunday it was a bit crowded but fortunately didn't have to wait for long time to get a table for us. Service was quick.

Nice restaurant with North indian food 😋 The server was very kind. I loved the taste of the food. Overall, it was a good experience 😌

Nice place with great food. That too for reasonable prices. But for fried rice you have to buy raita seperately. 😅

Revisit 22/11/23 better than last time but still a long way from the erstwhile taste. Better than most other places though. Revisit 31/08/2023 Some changes in taste. Not as great as before the sadarji is not sitting at the counter egg pula my favorite retained most of its taste but definitely there is a change. Pricing still affordable and quantity and quality nice. A small hole in the wall place that i have been frequenting since the mid 90's . Am amazed at how they maintained the same consistency the food all these years. My favourite dish is egg pulav and its taste quality and quantity has remained the same over more than 22years. This place used to be my daily lunch place for more than 2years when i was working as a sales representative it was 95 and 96 i think. The place provided me with low cost but tasty and quality food i remember the egg pulav to be Rs 24 or so. My recent visit was couple of days back and i was really happy to see nothing changed the same staff the same furniture but best of all the same great tasting food with the same quality. A little betterment in the ambiance may be needed though.

Good place to visit with ganags, price little bit high. With this price you can visit good restaurant. Ambient not good, less space. 2 months ago Old and simple restaurant. It has lost business as compared to the past. It is as old as 30 years. Air force station Begumpet cadets and people in transport business are regular customers. Non veg & veg of north Indian type is served.

Pricing in less and quantity is more, taste is good, they r known for Non veg, 1k for r people e 8 curries roties ,and jeera rice,

It's a small joint, nothing fancy. If you like good food, you can visit but I can't comment on their hygiene.

Me and my friends had tandoor chicken & dal with butter naan. I found it extremely good. The chicken was very well cooked. There is a seperate section for family. Since, I went with my friends, couldn't experience the vibe in family section. Give this place a try guys.

One of my all time favorites since childhood. This restaurant or better be called a lil dhaba is rich is taste and economical. Meethi Chicken and Mutton Masala is a must try. 😋

Its a very small restaurent located in Balanagar. Looking at the interior ome might give a second thought, but they do serve delicious food. Although, size portions are really small. I have ordered take away many a times, and every time I was satisfied with the respect to the taste and quality.They do accept cards

Almost everyone one of us have experienced and prefer at times a restaurant which has a massy ambience but serves delicious food at Cheap prices. Delhi darbar is that sort of Restaurant .<br/>I have never tasted a dish which was a disappointment here . The only dish which came out decent was fried rice .<br/>All Indian Breads are fresh. Starters have the right crisp and taste .<br/>Curries are spicy.<br/>On the whole , it's a great place for friends to have a casual meal together which comes at very affordable cost

We can have good Punjabi and north Indian food at cheap rates .<br/>I have tried Chicken pulao and Butter naan chicken curry it was so good the gravy and also the pulao was cooked so we'll..I can say if you are a biryani lover usually you don't like pulao,but in Delhi Darbar u can enjoy this pulao were it will keep your love on biryani for few mins away.<br/>Ambience is not so good..It's a Normal ambience were you can see on the highways<br/>Service is good<br/>Finally I can say it is the best place to have Non veg food at reasonable price .<br/>Thank you

Ambience is important but not everytime. Some places are all about the food and so ambience criteria doesn't come into the picture. Delhi Darbar is one such place. Lip smacking tasty Punjabi food served with fresh juicy ingredients, be it the vegetables or the chicken! <br/><br/>This place is an old one. Has been around for more than a couple of decades and as far as I'm concerned it is a "Hidden Jewel". So once you are warned about the ambience, you can go there only for the food with minimal expectations on the former.<br/><br/>Anyway, we Ordered Achari Chicken, paneer butter masala and kadai veg to go with a few tandoori kulchas, rotis and naans. Everything was incredibly tasty to say the least. And it's light on the pocket too. That's very good value for buck. All in all, it's one place, that's kind of legendary for the older and younger folks who have been visiting this for ages. Kudos!<br/><br/>

If you want to eat authentic Punjabi food, this is the place to be, the best items here are Vegetable Maharajah, Ginger Gobi, Slice vegetable gravy. The must have and the top most dish here is their vegetable fried rice. I have eaten at this restaurant since 1985 and even in 2016 this restaurant is strong with the same taste. Please dont expect ambiance here go for taste or get a take out.

Absolutely amazing food. Small place with a dhaba like ambiance. Located in an industrial area it's packed all through the afternoon. Food is reasonable and totally vfm. I come here at least once a week as I work close by.

Visited Delhi darbar after a long gap. Have to say was a bit disappointed as the taste has gone down or it might just be an odd day for them .<br/>Visited this place on a sunday afternoon with Frnds . <br/>Easy to locate just ask any one in balanagar and they will guide you to this place. <br/><br/>A simple place known for its taste . nothing to talk about the ambience . they have simple sitting. <br/><br/>We ordered veg Manchuria and chilli paneer. Veg Manchuria was good served hot and spicy. Chilli paneer was ohk the flavour was good but the paneer was not soft. <br/><br/>For curry we ordered ginger aloo and kadhai veg. Kadhai veg was decent . the gravy of ginger aloo was good but the aloo was hard. <br/>Roti was ohk. <br/><br/>Veg fried rice was yummy. <br/><br/>We ended with lassi. Which was a real value for money. <br/><br/>This place is very pocket friendly. And a good place to try the Punjabi tadka in food.

But the main thing FOOD is awesome. As 90% of panjabi dhaba's you will get delicious north indian food here. You can order food from home  through your mobile on "040 23777796". I am a vegetarian so i don't know much about non-veg food here. But I can tell you about veg foods. Chilli Paneer(joy while eating pain in morning :)), Veg Manchurian, Palak Paneer( tasty and healthy) , Kadai Paneer(if you are sweet lover), Mixed Veg and Vegitable Maharaja are best here. Along with that you can take Butter Naan(hunger killer), Allu Paratha(mouth watering), Butter Tandoori Roti and Mixed Fry Rice(one of it's kind). After eating you must try Raita (raita is awesome and refreshing). You can order starters like dry manchurians, paneers etc. Also you can get desert also like Icecreams, lassi etc. Cold Drinks are also available. Costs of food are somewhat high. Delhi darbar....... This place has an old school charm to it. Any north Indian can relate to its dhaba style decor.... With old wooden tables and plastic chairs. It is a small place on the Balanagar mainroad just opposit BHEL. It is famous for its methi chicken and has been awarded as the best methi chicken in hyderebad. My friend Arjun had already been to this place earlier and his review about the methi chicken had heightend my expectations so much that when i actually had it, i was a little disappointed. Anyways.... <br/>The good:<br/>Old school pinjabi diner charm<br/>Chicken tikka (crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside)<br/>Methi chicken (it is good but not sure if its the best i ever had)<br/><br/>The bad:<br/>Butter chicken( bland and with no flavour)<br/>Breads ( tandoori roti and lachha parantha are made of maida and not aata, major flaw)<br/><br/>As for the cost it is reasonable.

Suprised to see this place, as many don't notice this place even it's on daily routine route.. I was struck by the softness of butter Naan even after the meal, I didn't expect that this road side dhaba could serve so mouthwatering food. Butter chicken with Butter Naan.. The combination is perfectly maintained.. I could taste the flavour till the last bite. Even the egg has it's own taste mark here.. Exhausted after work, we thought of trying some random restaurant and what a finding, a Dhaba with authentic Dhaba flavors. As they say, don't judge a book by its cover, with the first looks you don't feel the worth of the food here coz of its poor ambience. Anyways, ambience is not be talked about in these kinda restaurants.<br/><br/>We ordered Methi Chicken, Palak paneer, Dal makhni, Tandoori roti, Butter naan and Lassi. Without a doubt, the Methi Chicken, what they claim to be the best in Hyderabad, is really one of the best you will have. Palak paneer and Dal makhni were also good. Aah... And the tandoori roti. After a very long time I was having real Dhaba taste rotis which you won't find that easily in Hyderabad. Lassi, I wouldn't say that it was the best but it was tasty and well made... On the whole, thumbs up for the place. Recommended for Dhaba lovers like me.. :p

This dhaba had been one of my favourite places to cherish the yummy food since my childhood days.<br/><br/>A day before yesterday, suddenly planned to visit this place along with my hubby and relish those old memories with yummy food. If one is looking for an ambiance, then this is not the place. One must forget about the ambiance here. A typical old dhaba with tables and chairs and less space to move around.<br/><br/>We were served with complimentary onion salad and mix pickle. We ordered for masala papad and paneer tikka to kick start our lunch. It was a crazy paneer tikka made using mustard oil. Trust me it is a must try dish... Paneer was very soft and had very good flavours of spices, we enjoyed every bit of it.<br/><br/>Moving to the main course, we placed order for dal tadka, mix veg and some "karare" tandoor rotis. Both the curries were good in taste. Breads were awesome... Even after sometime they weren't soggy... They were actually "Karare" as we had asked for. we have ordered(Take away) chicken pulav , mutton pulav , butter nan and methi chicken for a small office gathering<br/><br/>Butter Naan and Methi chicken  were really good.<br/><br/>Chicken pulav is a disaster..chicken under cooked.<br/><br/>We GOt a COCKROACH in chicken Biryani.... This place churns out the best food every single time I've been there. Camouflaged in an area having industries and workshops , this little restaurant packs a solid punch. Love the chicken tikka masala and the rara chicken here. The breads are also soft and freshly baked. Ambiance is not that good but if you really love your food you'd not let ambience come in your way!.

Delhi Darbar this is one of the oldest place I've been visiting since my child hood very nice food very taste we always enjoy there vegetarian food service always good compromising ambience very crowded place it's an common family restaurant better to had the take away.

Dnt judge this simple shack at the corner of the road by the way it looks. Itz a compact place which is always full of people. The service is also a tad slow. But once the food hits your mouth you wnt be thinking of anything else. Amazing food. Brilliant taste. Simply wow. Typical dhaba food at dhaba rates. A surprise package.

I have been visiting this place since my college days when dal makhani was 17 rupees and 5 of us friends would hog to our hearts content at just 500 rupees. Things haven't changed much. It still retains that great taste and amazing balance between the spices. Must try dishes are Kadhai Chicken and Tandoori chicken. The ambience can be a little off putting from outside but trust me, you will see a lot if high end cars parked here on the weekends. That alone should tell you how good this place is.

Living in the same area in which this restuarant(Dhaba) is located is a preivelage for me.I visit this place almost twice a week.The best thing about the place is the taste and the price, The prices are quite cheaper than any restuarant in the location. This place is regular hangout our family. Don't look for ambience. Just food. Methi Chicken is our regular order along with tandoori roti. They serve you plateful of onions and mixed pickle. The vegetarian dishes not that great. And this is the place where you will find courteous staff. Last but not the least the owner always welcomes you at the entrance if he presents there and he reminds us our grandpa. At the time of billing Candy free for children.

been there may b a million times cos I work nearby. its one f the most authentic Punjabi joint(read dhaba) near balanagar if not entire hyd. and its dirt cheap . try any thing u will love it. I recommend methi chicken(it got kingfisher travellers award for this dish), also try chicken butter masala or NY thing else for that matter u will love it. one caution u may not like its biriyani though , its good but not authentic Hyderabadi (its a punjabi dhaba). try any fried rice instead veg or nv . overall its one of the greatest value for money dhabas in town.
