Review Goli Vada Pav No. 1 - Hyderabad

Ashwitha Chalka
Goli vada pav really has a good name for the food items it serve. Maharashtrian snack dishes are available in Hyderabad at many places but the taste was never upto the mark. But 'Goli' is maintaining its name for the yummy delicacies and serves various kinds of vada pavs along with some other famous Mumbai snack items. The food here is seriously worth trying!
Nipun Chowdhary
Goli Vada Pav is a place where you can have a quick bite or enjoy a full evening's meal. The ingredients are fresh and though it is a small outlet, it gives a good quality of product and service. The taste is just like what you get in Mumbai. Home delivery available.
Sourav Saha
Ordered A few Vada Pav from here, took Delivery in Office. Order delivered in 1hr. Wonderful packing, the Pav was intact with the vada, but the vada was too small. Goli in Kolkata serves better Vada Pav, neither do these taste as good as they do in Pune or Mumbai. Taste wise, they're pretty decent. 1 vada pav is good as a snack for one. 2 or more needed if you want to fill your tummy.
Ravi Teja Sikhakolli
Best place for quick bytes & they're famous for Vada pav. But they've very limited space to eat there. You could get all types of Vada Pav & some snacks with kulfis, they worth to try once.
RAMANATHAN MUTHIAH
It's a shop, carry home is the best way. But if you do that, the vada pav will lose its crispiness. To eat there no space or facility available. I went alone so ate by standing near the counter itself. Very tasty... Nice.
Megha Kedia
Good place to go with family any days weekend or weekdays. The place is generally crowded. But it's a family place so kids could be brought there. The food is North India maharashtra snacks. The owner and staff are friendly. It is on the road and there is some place outside to park your two-wheelers.
Saikrishna Dosapati
Goli wada pav is the best wada pav I ever had, hot crispy pav along with the fried and salted chilly is the best combination to ever have it. And the classic wada pav is classy to have, with the sauce and some chillies.
Vivek Gupta
Yummy! Serves decent stuff... Poor guy's doesn't have the right place for the store. There is actually zero place, not even to stand properly with 1-2 friends.
dinesh kannan
Good variety of dishes!! Downside is we have to wait for long to get the item. Atleast 15 mins

Food is amazing but beware if you are going in a car. No parking space absolutely.

Best place for anytime snack of the day.. This place reminds you the famous vada pavs available in Bombay. And they lot variations in vada pavs...

Tried aloo tikki vada pav , vada pav wid schezwan chutney, classic vada pav, sabudana vada pav... Each one has its unique taste and quality is very good.

Ordered Classic Vada Pav and Aloo Tikki with Cheese Vada Pav. Both the vada pavs were delicious. The classic vada pav was tasty and was spicy with the fried chilli given with it. The Aloo Tikki with Cheese Vada Pav was almost similar to an aloo tikki burger. Packaging was good and the prices are pocket friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.

Crispy wadapav and Maharaja vadapav a must try..there are very few places in hyderabad where you get the real taste of wadapav..this place is one of them..awesome evening snack [health concious people, once in a week is not a bad call :) ]

Finally got to have amazing Vada Pav in Hyderabad. I visit Mumbai frequently and rush to have Vada Pav. Good to know that we have an option here as well that gives that Mumbai feeling.

Ordered sabudaana vada. Very very very oily and no taste.
Never expected such kind of delivery from goli. Excess oil and due to that we were not able to experience the taste.

The Goli Vada Pav is a small outlet in Kondhapur. Goli Vada Pav has opened more than 100 outlets in India after the grand success in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Vada Pav is a staple street food of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Vada Pav is also known as 'Bombay Burger'. Initially, it was very simple dish with Potato Vada, Pav and Chutni. However, Vada Pav has been revamped and now it's available in multi variants such as Schezwan Vada Pav, Sabu Dana Vada Pav and many more.

I had been here few days ago, there's no ample space for parking. I'd recommend to go for the takeaway. I had Schezwan Vada Pav, it was really delicious and awesome. The price is very reasonable and cheap.

The food was so tightly packed and it became so soggy when i received it! The fries and the vada are not at all crispy. Couldn’t enjoy the food as i expected...

This is one of my favourite place to have some quick bites. I visited a lot of times and I was never disappointed with the quality of vada pav. I liked classic vada pav the most, a simple, less spicy and tasty. Keep it up. They have also introduced some new items in their menu, I would love to try it.

Follow me on Instagram on veganyums_ for more food fun..

There are vada pavs are wholesome and delicious. Sitting at Hyderabad and eating this vada pav is bliss. I tried their masala vada pav and schezwan vada pav. Both of them are tasty and perfectly spicy. The service of prompt and the packaging is also good. A very convenient place to order food from at picket friendly rates. Will try out options in their menu😋

Vada Pav makes a good snack in the evening and this restaurant serves without delivery charges. I have tried all the varieties and they are good. Things they can improve up on is the bread quality.

Was oily. But nevertheless due to fast it was okay.

If you love Vadapavs, this is the place to visit.
If you don't love Vadapavs, you should go there. You'll fall in love with there Vadapavs.
So many varieties, and so easy on the pocket. They taste as good as any McD or a Burger King burgers.
They have at least 8-10 varieties, and give you an option of having it with cheese or w/o cheese.
The 4 of us had 11 Vadapavs in total.
Personal favourite:
Schezwan Cheese,
Chatpata (w/o cheese),
Paneer Supreme Cheese

i am not satisfied with the food. we ordered a pav bhaji. The food was too spicy without any taste. there was not much customer still we had to wait for 20 mins. we ordered a Vada pav also, that too was not worth its price.

Appetite Filling Food In Budget. Good Taste, Worth A Try!

Worst wadapav ever
Serving aloo potato hash browns instead of wada pav
Not even informing customers that they changed it
This thing is really bad

The vada pav here is fairly good though it isn't the best I've eaten. Good place to go to in case you're hungry, close by and would like to have a quick snack.
Chandann Reddy
The vada Pav was pretty decent ..... sabudana vada could have been better...... can try if u are missing Mumbai’s favourite food!!!! I haven’t had better vada Pav in Hyderabad yet of course did try either.... pls do suggest if any good places around???
Varun MotawalA
Seriously, a frozen vada in a Vada pav? Is eating frozen food good for health? This probably is the worst thing to ever happen to indian fast food, are the cooks here so lame that they can't prepare vada daily. To start with the Vada pav wasn't great and as soon as I realised (To my horror) that vada is frozen (shelf life of 9 months, the one we got was 3 months old), I was really disgusted.
Tripal Reddy
I never had any vadapav in goli before. But my first visit late around 10pm ended with an awesome sabudana cutlet with little mirchi powder ended up ordering 2 more plates..I recommend and will visit for sure.. Price is very much reasonable... as we see coffee/TEA itself (in good outlets) cost 10-15 buck's now-a-days..
Not a great place for hangout for long time, as it is just beside road ..is the only for 4.5/5 else its 5/5
Gaurav Patel
If you are looking to eat really spicy vada pav, this is the place for you. Price is decent and location is just on side of road. Not place for who can't handle spicy.
Sourav Mitra
Small eatery to have a quick bite.. Very average in taste.. It's nowhere near to vada pav in mumbai.. Tasted classic, schewan, aloo tikki.. All were average.. No chatni in between the pavs or with it.. Preety bland tasting.. Had the cheese ungli they serve.. This was okies.. Better than the vada pavs..kulfi was yummy.. Prices were decent.. But they should really learn what a real vada pav taste like..
Sangita Kundu
Nice place for evening snack... . I had Aloo tikka vada pavs , schezwan vada pavs and cheese ungli . I like aloo tikka and both tasted same . And i also had a kesar Pista kulfi . The prices are good.
Sandipan Manna
Road side shop at Shilpa Park. Great taste, prompt in action. Since it's not crowded, it provides great customer experience. If you come near Kondapur, have a goli vada, it's great.
Pradeep Kumar Proddaturi
It's a small setup like any other goli vadapav outlet. Though they have few plastic stools outside, it's very difficult to sit there as it gets dusty during peak traffic hours. Having lived in Mumbai for few years I have tasted a variety of vadapavs. I must say, neither the vada nor the pav here is as good. What's missing here is the crispness in the outer layer of the vada and the flavour of the aloo stuff. A perfect combination of these is just unbeatable. It's a waste of money adding cheese because you hardly find any. I have also tried the cheese ungli. It was good but you will get better ones(frozen food) these days in supermarkets. They also have a sandwich section just outside the counter. I was tempted to try some cheese sandwich as they have put Gateway of india on the menu. I was really expecting Bombay type sandwiches but again disappointed. In bombay, they put loads of cheese but here it is not the case. If you have tasted mumbai vadapav, sandwich and hoping that you will get something similar, you will be disappointed . You should be very careful when you take kids there because the electric sandwich maker is so close to the counter that your kid might accidentally put their hand on it.

Happened to hop in here on a Sunday evening.
It had a fair bit of rush even at 5:30pm.
It's a basic set up with just a few plastic chairs outside which were mostly occupied.
I ordered the masala Vada pav with cheese and the schezwan Vada pav with cheese again.
I have to say I couldn't taste the cheese at all.it was almost not there to be honest, and I had to open the buns to find the 2 teaspoons of cheese.
So charging 15 bucks over the normal price seems a bit much when it didn't do anything to enhance the taste, but it surely did it's bit to enhance the bill !
Wanted to try the cheese ungli but maybe another time.
The schezwan variant was a tad better than the masala one, but both were strictly average since my energies were spent in finding the cheese !
Service was fast, and the staff of one or two were efficient.
Each Vada pav cost me 50 bucks which is pretty good and economical.
Will probably visit again and insist for an increase in the topping !
Shivam Pathak
Really nice place to grab a quick bite. The variety of vada pavs is really good. Along with the chutey and chikli its really spicy...!! The prices are good. But one, neither 2 vada pavs aint gonna get ur tummy filled... But good as an evening snack...!!
Makai Palak, Schezwan are must to try. Avoid Cheese fingers and Sabudana
Uday Kanth
While I might not have a point of reference to judge this place as I've never had the Mumbai Vada Pav, on its own merit this place still lacks the punch. Taste is almost always good enough, but nothing that's gonna leave any special impression.

Situated on a traffic laden road so eating at the joint might not always be neither a pleasant nor a healthy option.

Tip: skip cheese variants. They put so less anyway that it makes no difference to the taste.
Ketan Jain
have tasted almost all the Vada pao from this place. good taste. looks hygenic. quick service. decent peices. i like the Maharaja Vada pao most. This place is better than most other Burger and Vada pao joints in the areas nearby considering their price range
Rajya Lakshmi Yellajosyula
This outlet offers some good varieties of vada pav.
There isnt much space for seating and its better to prefer a take away.

Makka palak vada pav and aloo tikki pav are must tries.
Anvesh
Good place. The vada pav here Is good I would suggest him to open more branches in part of the citi. The best in the menu is the makai Palak. Don't miss it.
Food.tales.by.dibyajit
I like the vada pavs from Goli and my picks are the masala vada pav, classic vada pav and the schezwan vada pao. The cheese unglis are somewhat good. Price with in budget. This place is good for a quick snack. Still, the vada pavs do not match or come close to the vada pavs of Mumbai and Pune.
Garnaik Srikant
Your street vendor food, but at a pricier side. Love the Aloo tikki Burger with the French fries. No ambience and no space are the main demerits.
Aditya Rastogi
For someone who knows how fresh vadapav tastes, it is a nightmare. I tried once over here and never visited again.
Food- 2.5/5
Service-3.5/5
Value for money-2.5/5
Sayantani Shine
Average....!!!
I belong from Pune and definitely this kinda wadapav won't run in Maharashtra. Tried 3 types - Masala, Maharaja and Crunchy. Although it's a chain outlet, yet could not match up the taste.
All were similar in taste.
Disheartening experience.
Suhail Ganesh
Now for any one expecting five star ambience and spacious interiors at a shop that advertises for MUMBAI vada pav... Ladies and gentlemen... Surprise surprise... There is NONE!!!
The vada pav comes quite close to the Mumbai flavor (trust me... I lived there for 15 years)... But you would be surprised at the size of the pav... Almost makes the wada inconsequential.... Flavors ok though... Okay for a quick bite
Sindhu
Firstly - My experience with Vadapav is amateur. Here goes my review..
Though amateur and doesn't know how an actual Mumbai Vadapav tastes, I like Goli's Vadapav. Most importantly, they are super cheap for the quality they offer. Having this makes me wonder how good an authentic Vadapav would be. It's a good street bite place 👍

I tried to order vada pav from this store,First my call was hanged several times than i was told they dont have anyone to deliver my food. This is disgusting

We ordered vada pav from here during a team meeting ! We had schezwan vada pav , aloo tikka vada pav , masala vada pav and saboo dana vada ! It was good but nothing special !
Arpita Chakraborty
I had the schezwan vada pav, aloo tiki vada pav, masala vada pav and sabudana vada pav as a part of a office party. The schezwan vada pav was not as spicy as it should have been, the others were also okayish. They didnot have ketchup, but they served a schezwan sauce which was really tasty and also a schezwan powder. Although overall it gets an average rating, I would like to visit there outlet someday.
Tushar Rajpal
A stop by place to have some Vada Pav. Vada is not that much authentic which you except from a Vada Pav. A customized version of the same, but at all is not bad and quite enjoyable.

Attraction point was Sabudana Vada which you can have during your fasting. I was introduced to this place with this attraction point only.
Sahiti Chedalavada
Not as fast as you'd like, but understandable given the skeleton staff they seem to operate on. Tiny, tiny place, takeaway only, but the absolute perfect any time meal. The vada pavs are nicely packaged to be portable, they're filling, savoury, uncomplicated...okay so I'm a fan and have been for a while.
Ranveer Singh
Goli vada pav is some what close to the original wada pav and better than what you get at Jumbo King. This outlet is located in front of Shilpa park.

I had already tried the outlet in Masjid Banda (near Botanical Garden). I visited this outlet on a Sunday evening (20th Mar). It is a small outlet which serves pretty good vada pavs. It also serves Kulfis, lassi and milk, and has 5 plastic stools to sit. They have different flavors of vada pavs, Cheese ungli etc. I tried the Maharaja (with mayonnaise) and Schezwan vada pav. Vada was hot and taste was ok. The wada was actually crispy aloo tikki, but good, with mayonnaise on top of it but is very less. Schezwan vada pav was good. A decent place to grab a quick snack.
Rohan Das
It's a small shop with just a couple of guys running it. Sometimes you might see the nice old grandpa sitting in the shop too. Anyways the vada pavs here are the standard goli outlet vada pavs. It's a nice simple and cheap snack to have with a good range of flavors. Also, if it's your first time here, do try the sabu dana cutlet. Strangely I think it's the best item in their menu of vada pavs.
Abhishek Shetye
I was glad to see a vada pav outlet in Hyderabad. Though this is the standardized version of Mumbai's famous vada pav it does taste quite good.
Abhishek Nagpal
Horrible vada pav. I have eaten at many different goli outlets but the taste here is not at par with the other outlets. I visited the restaurant multiple times but each time I was disappointed. The staff also takes a lot of time in taking/serving orders. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Karthik Gandhi
I could leave office early and so had some snacks craving. On my way back stopped by this place. Its a small kiosk like thing right opp to shilpa park entrance next to desi adda. Menu is super simple and I kept my order simpler than that. Ordered their Classic Vada pav and masala vada pav.

Pricewise they are on par with jumboking as well and so no complaints on the pricing. The vada could have been more crispier and hot that the overall experience turned only ok. nothing bad to complain but def VFM...
Aswan Mohan
Goli's Vada Pav, an Indian Burger. Always a best pick for a quick bite at evening. Tried everything in their menu. I would strongly recommended Kulfi there. They do not have much place to hangout. Its more off pick and leave place. Having there may disgust you as it is on the main road where a lot of traffic goes by. Quite disturbing. But taste of Vada Pav is Quite good. Good for Hyderabad, not par with traditional vada pav from Mumbai/Pune streets.
Deepti Rohan
I ordered 4 classic vada pao. Alu inside the tikki was spoiled. Very disappointed. You should maintain the quality throughout all the outlet.
Srinivasa Ravi Theja
An okok kind of place for Vadapav ; the authentic taste did not completely show up the vadapav but it was a decent try. Vadpav blended with variety of veggies gives us a good choice.

The place at times is crowded and can be visited on a weekend for a peaceful visit.

Overall its a very light snacky place one can visit.
Naman Shah
A good taste and good special wada pav...
One can enjoy it when really hungry.....good variety of wada pav..................................
The Khaanabadoshh
I ordered the vada pav combo from this place through Faaso's app. The combo comprised of a vada pav, sabudana vada and cheese ungli. The food was served with a spicy lahsun chutney and tomato ketchup. The food was delicious and the price was pretty reasonable.
Barsha Sengupta
I had taste classic vada pav and masala vada pav. Classic was good but the masala went wrong .After taking it I had severe indigestion I dont know why the taste was also not good.Dont know about the other items but this went completely wrong. Will try the other items still.
Rahul
It's a small place on a busy street corner and happened to eat only once. Nothing extraordinary, but makes decent vadapav. Decent place if you are looking for a quick bite on the go.
Aanchal Khemka
This is a restaurant which has its chain outlets selling Vada Pav around the country. They offer different kinds of Vada Pav such as classic , maharaja, mix Veg and few more to name.

Since this oultlet is very nearby my house, we happen to eat their Vada Pav once in a week. My favourite is Classic Vada Pav as I find its taste very close to original Vada Pav. They serve it with lahsun chutney and fried green chilli. Classic Vada Pav is a little spicy but real yum. Maharaja Vada Pav is again savour, served with huge Vada and is not very spicy.

Sabudana Vada is also tasty and can be tried.
They have some offers sometimes where in they offer free coldrink in combo pack.

The only flaw of this outlet near Shilpa Park is the staff is lethargic..they are least interested in home delivery and in fact take all the time in the world to even hand over Vada Pav in their shop.
The prices of the food items they offer are very reasonable.

My rating is entirely based on the taste of the Vada Pav..as it is really outstanding..and worth trying.
Ritwik Sen
The USP of this place must be "Easy on the pocket". Most of the Pavs that I tried here were crosses of a traditional Vada Pav with its burger counterpart.

The Pavs and the patties in them are served fresh and crisp. The orders are processed pretty quickly( a waiting time of 5-7 minutes).

The only thing that they could improve upon is most certainly the seating. Best if you want to pick up your food and have it at home.
Mayank Lohiya
Been there 2-3 times. Had classic vada pav with cheese and aloo tikki vada pav. Both were above average. A change for them who like mainstream McDonald burger. Only one disappointment that they dont serve ketchup.
Jaswanth Kumar
Visited it for a evening snack....I am totally disappointed with the quality and the price of the pavs.... Mc donalds is a better option than vadapav in hyd....

Goli Vada Pav !! After hearing a lot of appreciation we went there last Sunday ...
I had makai palak vada pav and my husband took schezwan vada pav. Both tasted good and rates are OK. But, I have a doubt ...Is it the real vada pav taste ...I don't think so. It seems to be more like desi version of Mc'D burger. The filling inside is not at all like aloo bonda.
Else, it is a nice outlet.
Sittings are not ample, just 3-4 chairs outside the shop.
Rohit Goel
Not exactly vada pavs, more like fusion between a burger and a vada pav. Good place to go if you need a quick bite with friends or even alone!
Sarath Teja Vallabhaneni
First time I thought to eat vada pav and searched in zomato... Got this place went to give a try ... Well taste is good and price is reasonable ... But only one thing went to vada pav place and ate veg aloo tilki burger... Didn't get feel of vada pav...

I am big Fan of Vada Pav. My friend told me about this place.
I ordered Cheese Masala VadaPav. It was spicy and yummy i recalled the days from Mumbai.. Love it.. Suggest to try Masala Vadapav if you are from Mumbai/Maharashtra.
Shivraj Patil
A wada that too with potato and the one which is delicious as well. Yes and I understood the worth of this chain when I actually had it after a long time of 2 months. I almost cried (not literally). It is really awesome.
Vikram
Its definitely not the classic Maharashtrian vada pav for sure and a tad costly at ₹25 per vada pav. But amongst the ones I've had in Hyderabad till date, its certainly the best so far. Pav was fresh and overall nice and hot.
Sainath Gupta
Bun seeemed fresh, Tikki was cold in Vadapav.. Tasted average.. Too much spicy.. They don't even offer you tomato ketchup.. Overall Not a pakka maharastrian vada pav..
Chetan Kawade
Vada pav is what all maharashtrians love. This place was near to my house. I being fan of vada pav,i decided to try one here but what I found is,taste is average. Not value for money
Ranjan
Got takeaway from this place as someone we knew was coming from that side of town. The buns or pavs were fresh but a tad cold - I'd have preferred for them to be heated on the tava a bit.

Masala Vada Pav was the pick of the lot, cheese one was ordinary & Palak corn was as bland as it could be! The cheese fingers were good but the sabudana vada wasn't. Too crunchy on the exterior for my liking.

I'd happily polish off 4-5 of the masala ones but the others were not to my liking.
Shekhar
Are you sure it is vada pav joint.. I find it just like local mcd.. who will serve you a vada tht also frozen n fried in front of you.. I m frm pune and to b frank miss vadapav very much. . Tried there simple, cheese n palak vadapav.. nt at all upto the mark.. bt still any maharashtrian just want to give it a try vadapav thn u shud go for it..

If you are from north india and crazy for street food and mainly vada pav then go for it. You wont get better vada pav anywhere in the vicinity(atleast that i know of) .

Started in Mysore, then in Bangalore and now almost every South Indian city, these small outlets have made their way into every nuk-and-corner. Vada Pav, from what I have heard is from Mumbai or maybe it is a Maharashtrian dish. In simple words it's an Indian Burger!

I would not say, that it is wonderful or just very filling, but the Vada Pav is just a small snack you can munch to stop the growling of your stomach when you are way too hungry. I couldn't really find any difference among the varieties of the Vada Pavs' offered, obviously I mean the taste of each Pav. These Indian Burgers are good, but can be even more good, infact really has to improve on their taste.

Ambiance and Hospitality, I just can't explain about these. It's right on the main road, traffic, IT sector, pollution - 'coz this is India, obviously the outlet guys can't help it or even do anything about it.

My Report Card for this Indian Burger outlet:-
Taste - 3/5
Price - 3.5/5
Hospitality, Ambiance, Clealiness, etc. - As mentioned above, I cannot tell anything.

I am a big fan of Vadapav.... But there is something you should know of:

In Gujarat, from where I come from, when you order Vadapav first they will put some "oil/butter" on the TAVA. Once the oil is hot enough they will put garlic+chilli powder on the TAVA and allow it to cook. They will then apply the cooked powder on the PAV and allow the PAV to cook for some time. Now they will put the VADA on the TAVA for some seconds just to ensure it is hot. It is served with Coriander chatni and Tomato Ketchup.

This is something you will never find anywhere. With all due respect to Pune and Mumbai readers, I know this is not the authentic and original VADAPAV that we get in Maharashtra, but most of the Gujjus would love the modification.

Golis tend to prepare the VADAPAV to a great extent in Gujarati style. But they have failed miserably. The PAV would be a bit hot, they would apply the necessary chatnis and serve with Ketchup. The VADA is something they will have to work on.

However, you can try their Tikki. I found Goli Masala Vadapav very very spicy. No improvement is taste, but they would apply chatni in abundant quantity. You can also try:
1. Cheese Ungli
2. Sabudana wada
3. Hariyani mix (not sure of the exact name)

They have 3-4 stools and 2-3 chairs. It is on the road side of Shipa Park so traffic is at its peak in the evening. Definitely not a place to visit during that time. I also feel the place is a bit over-priced.

My rating: 3

Being from Pune , i know what a vada pav should taste like. Having eaten at the places that serve the best vada pav, not one true blue Maharashtrian will not know what a vada pav should taste like.

Having see this Goli stall for the past month, finally i went up to it to satisfy my curiosity.

There is no ambiance as such to this place. Its a road side stall and thats how it should be. There is no point in eating a gourmet vada pav at exorbitant prices in a upmarket restaurant.

A normal vada pav stall in Pune will serve vada pav, potato and onion bhajji's and may be tea. Goli is no different, unfortunately this is where everything else starts to go down south.

I ordered for a cheese , simple, palak corn , masala vada and sabudana vadas.

I got the order in 10 mintues and headed home.

I opened the cheese packet first and the first bite bit me back. It was just raw spice all the way. As hard as it to bear a vada pav gone wrong, its even harder to eat a lump of chilli powder.

The cheese vada pav is nothing but a slice of cheese on the AP style aloo bonda.

A maharastrian vada pav , vada as a strong presence of garlic to counter the gaseous after effects of the potato and laced with some chutneys and supplemented with peanut or garlic dry chutney.

Nothing of that sort was expected from this vada pav, but i never expected the raw lump of chilli powder either.

The masala and plain were similar. Except for the difference in price, and not to forget the loads of chilli - i couldnt taste the vada at all after the chilli started to bite back ! dyamn it was bad. The best of the worst may be the palak corn with sufficient cut down in chilli powder or was it my luck.

Only saving grace was the sabudana wada. 2 circular discs was a clear indication of prepacked, frozen and shipped produce. The hand made sabudana wada is close to being round , crisp, white and amazing to eat.

The Goli sabudana was much better compared to the vada pav. Only complaint is the round discs dont give it a natural feeling and it doesnt appeal to me to eat it the way it was presented.

All in all, good for ppl who havent tasted the real deal. For folks from Mumbai/Pune, give it a pass or make it at home.
