Makobrew World Coffee Bar is simply amazing! As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by this cozy and welcoming vibe. The place is decked out with cool decorations, and the comfy seats make it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of seriously good coffee.
They pay attention to all the little details, like that incredible aroma of freshly ground coffee beans and how they craft each drink with care, making it feel extra special.
Now, let’s talk about the menu – there’s a bunch of different coffee options to choose from. Whether you’re a fan of strong espresso or prefer a slow-brewed pour-over, they’ve got you covered. But here’s the exciting part: they don’t just do great coffee; their selection of starters is fantastic! Seriously, so many options that pair perfectly with your favorite brew.
If you’re a coffee enthusiast, Makobrew is a must-visit – you won’t be disappointed!
We ended up going here without knowing this is a Vegetarian place (it wasn't mentioned on Zomato/Google), but gladly we loved the vibe. It was lit with beautiful lights and the walls were very well decked up too. It also had a lot of vegetarian options.
We ordered :
Mocha - 4.5/5
Doppio - 5/5
Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate - 3.5/5
Hong Kong Paneer - 5/5
Honey Chilli Lotus Stem - 4/5
Service could improve a little as people don't come to you until you call them... I mean in the first place, even for water. It could be more welcoming!
One of the best coffee bar. Easily recognisable from road has decent bike parking but car parking can be problematic when road is busy. Ambience of the place is too good with open air and closed space options. They have swing seats in open air and my wife enjoyed the seat. Hazel nut cold coffee was awesome and pizza was good. Overall very good experience and repeatable.
Food 4/5
Service 4/5
Ambience 5/5
VFM 4/5
This is a lovely place with both covered and outdoor sitting. During rains it can be slightly problematic but that has its own charm.
Food overall was good but portions were small except for the Pink Sauce pasta. We ordered Mozarella sticks, Lebanese Avocado toast, Falafel in Pita, noodles and Pink sauce pasta. Taste was all of the dishes were nice. The star of the evening certainly was the Pink sauce pasta.
Service was a bit slow with one of our dishes forgotten. Also, there was no one to seat us when we walked in, but were promptly Seated when the person became available.
Makobrew World Coffee Bar seamlessly combines exceptional coffee with a culinary delight. The diverse and quality-focused food menu, paired with a cozy yet modern ambiance, makes it a standout destination. Attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere complete the delightful experience.
I really like the atmosphere, good coffee, and nice interior. This is a good place to chill with friends. Their coffee and foods were all tasty and worthwhile. If you’re up for a fresh place with beautiful architecture then this is a must to visit.
Located in Jubilee Hills, close to the Pedamaguddi temple, Makobrew World Coffee Bar is an easy jaunt for metro travelers. On a recent Saturday evening, I dropped by for a friend's birthday and was taken aback by the serene setting amidst the weekend hustle—surprisingly, the cafe was not packed.
A testament to thoughtful design, the ambiance exudes vibrancy. Drawing inspiration from nature, bamboo ceilings, trees lining the space, and pebble flooring coalesce into a harmonious aesthetic. The omnipresent greenery injects life into every nook, and with a sprawling seating layout, including an inviting open area and patio seating, one isn't short of choices.
Service was top-notch. The attentive, friendly, and efficient staff had us seated promptly and were accommodating to our every request, setting the tone for the culinary journey ahead.
With a large group, we sampled a diverse range: from the spicy zing of Chilli Paneer and the smoky goodness of Paneer Tikka to the crunch of lotus stem starters and water chestnuts. The Exotic Veg Pizza and Alfredo Pasta satiated our western cravings, while the Veg Fried Rice, Veg Manchuria, and Veg Noodles paid homage to Asian flavors. The Malai Broccoli was a succulent surprise, with Thai Curry warming our palates. A hot brownie rounded off the evening. Mocktails quenched our thirst with their invigorating mixes. Freshness resonated in every bite, echoing the use of handpicked ingredients.
All in all, Makobrew World Coffee Bar boasts generous portions and tick marks on all restaurant essentials. A must-visit for those seeking a blend of ambiance, service, and culinary delight.
Hello dear reader, Devendra here.
I have 3 key pillars to rate a restaurant/ cafe and I am sure you would find it worthwhile to read this one.
1. Taste - This is the key part of the review. I had 5 dishes here and they were great!
a. Cheese balls - They serve you with 10 pieces of crispy mozzarella cheese balls. They are bigger than normal ones. Quantity is neither less nor more. Its 9/10 and I have taken 1 point for them using a ketchup instead of fresh tomato purée. I suggest them to try Jalapeño based sauce.
b. Crispy corn - Best tasting crispy corn I had till date. No complaints about excess oil or the corn kernels or the taste. Taste infact was MIND BLOWING.
c. Paneer Tikka Pakeezah - Best tasting paneer tikka of my life. I didn’t know paneer tikka could be this good.
d. Farm fresh Pizza - This was a bad one. I am not a fan of thin crust and hence asked for extra cheese but it was not enough. Then the base sauce of this pizza was chilli sauce and that’s disappointing from this kind of cafe.
e. Pink sauce pasta - This was amazing as well. Will give it only 9/10 because of the horrible garlic bread. It was just toasted bread with no butter or garlic. Difficult to chew.
f. Soda - They inherently dont use ice cubes and that’s something good.
2. Ambiance - Not bad. Definitely better in the night.
3. Pricing - It costed about 2600 for what I ate. I find fair considering that it was very heavy for 3 people
I visited here 1 more time after almost a year and man it still impressed me! My core non vegetarian friends were also super happy with the place and they are doing a good job!!
Location:
-Nearest Metro Station: Peddamma Gudi.
-500 m.
Space feel like:
-Good landscape, Cosy seating, Natural ventilation.
-Evening experience will be more better than day experience here.
Food ordered:
-Veg Lasagna: Tasted good but there was less pasta and more cheese in it.
-BBQ paneer pizza: It was great, with thin crust, nicely rosted paneer toppings.
-Hazelnut & Classic cold coffee: This felt the best of all, every sip of it was awesome.
Pros:
-Good food. Great evening experience.
-Less waiting time.
-Classic Cold coffee (must try).
Cons:
-There was no difference in taste for different cold coffees.
-Quantity was less when compared to it's price. (Veg Lasagna)
My honest opinion:
-Food was good, great ambience, comfortable seating.
-Can visit again.
Very lively atmosphere and birthday parties were going on. Even on a weekday it was fairly crowded.
It is a pure veg cafe. The ambience is very good.
The BBQ water chestnut and honey chilli Lotus stem are very good. Main course was good.
Overall good food and great ambience.
really like the atmosphere, good coffee, and nice interior. This is a good place to chill with friends. The coffee and foods were all tasty and worthwhile. If you’re up for a fresh place with beautiful architecture then this is a must to visit.
A good place for coffee and food...they have plenty of seating space, and good options for vegetarians...they have a comprehensive coffee menu with bean choices from multiple countries
