Review Indiya Oye - Indore

memoir engraved
What an amazing place to dine ! As you would notice on the photos, the interiors are to die for ! But the real cherry on the cake is the food. The dishes are very innovative. I haven’t had dishes that they have on the menu, anywhere else. Pineapple fennel dip for example is something I discovered only here. Even the mains dishes are delightfully innovative and delicious. I saw a set up for live performances also in there. They were kind enough to even customise the food for my family to make it without chillies. Loved the experience !!

From a western American perspective everything was exotic to me. The flavors were on point and I have no complaints. Came in at 745 on a Thursday and it was empty. Great food, just wish they turned down the music a little.

The experience here was unforgettable. The melodious nightingale- like singing by Seema provided a vibrant and lively atmosphere, with condiments in distinctive canopic jars and the slightly ebbing diya flames warmly welcomed us to this culinary abode, where cooking becomes an art. The connoisseur Nagendar cooked the most flavourful foods in Indian cuisine, also combined with the swift and efficient serving of dishes by Mustafa. I especially recommend trying the signature dish, Galouti Kebab and also the delectable Mango chutney. This is truly a restaurant which excels in all aspects in the culinary world, from presentation and cooking, to reception and service.

It will be a very steep evaluation how i have been served. The reason being u r sitting at an equivalent of a 5 star property. Manifestly, you expect more thn u do frm any other local joint.
Taste is very avg, options are less service is pretty ordinary too. In comparison with other options we have in the city this place looked very ordinary.
SS
Staff too unprofessional, food so spicy, and rowdy behaviour of other guests

Food : 3/5
Cleanliness :4/5
Hospitality :1/5
Ambience :5/5
Value for money '3/5

Indiya oye the restaurant of radisson is an expirement.. I have been here few times... Sometimes you get exceptionally good food that attracts you to visit here again.... But sometimes the food is so pathetic that you feel like never going again...

So you can go here once in a while with fingers crossed.. Not a 100% win win situation always.

Indiya Oye as the name indicates is a restaurant which serves authentic Indian dishes from various parts of the country. It is one of the very few restaurants in Indore serving signature dishes from several Indian states.

To start with, I ordered 'Murgh and Mushroom Yakhni Shorba' which was delicious until the last sip. I could savor the various herbs & spices. A complimentary 'papad platter' too was served on the side. The 'Fish Tikka Amritsari' is my all-time favorite and was prepared just the way I like. The fish was very well marinated and tandoor-cooked. For the main course, I had a 'Mutton Curry', 'Hyderabadi Dum Biryani', and 'Roomali Roti', 'Olive Naan' on the sides. I'm not really a mutton person, so couldn't comment on that. The biryani and olive naan were savory.

And lastly, how could I complete my meals without dessert. I had a 'Gulkand Rasmalai' and their signature 'Kesar Jalebi with Chilled Rabri'. The desserts are served in a very generous amount so do keep some space in your tummy. Their dessert menu has many delectable Indian sweets which are hard to find in restaurants nowadays, I would definitely visit again to try them all.

The ambiance here is very vibrant and the live music keeps up the mood. I loved the lighting and the use of pop colors. The tribal paintings and arts add to the decor. The staff members are well dressed in Indian attire and are gracious. P.S. Don't forget to grab a 'Sweet Paan' at the exist to seal the meal.

I went to Indore for some work and was missing Non veg food. I tried few places but flavours were not Good. Then I came across this place and decided to try this in dinner. The ambiance of this place is set to light mood with gazals playing in the night.

Things I tried

Lucknow ki galouti - This was as good as you will find in the great kebab factory. Full of spices and soft texture.

Sikanderi Raan - Please order this dish if you are more than 2. Raan is the whole leg of the lamb and is a community dish is meant to be shared. It was semi gravy and went very well with my breads

I would also recommend to try Radisson's siganture mocktail called Topaz

Hi guys...!!!
Hope all are doing well..!!

Indiya Oye...!!!
Presently offering Festival of Royal Cuisine...!!
Restaurant offers nice authentic Indian meal in typical Indian ambience. The decor is beautiful inside the restaurant. We had a special Indian Royal thaali which contained various dishes.
Biryani was average nothing special on it and it was lacking flavours, daal was very good though.
There is almost always live music playing which can be enjoyed by the young and elder generations equally.
Humble staff to take care of your evening.
Delicious 😋 food 🥘
Thanks to 👨‍🍳 Chef Himanshu...!!!

India oye is an Indian cuisine restaurant. I went with my family for dinner and it was really a beautiful experience. Live band was performing old songs. Now lets come to food, it was so amazing. Every dish had Traditional Indian touch with various spices. Service was remarkable and even ambiance was beautiful - decor by wall arts and Indian cultural stuff.

Went to Indore after a tour of holy city of Ujjain, one of my local freind took me to this most lavish place in Indore known as India Oye which is situated on the upper ground floor of Radisson Blu hotel. The ambience was top notch and very premium, the decor was pleasing to the eyes. Now coming to the food, first impression the presentation was exquisite. We ordered raan e shikandri, bharwan murg, laal maas, tandoori lambchaap, some mocktails and desert.I must say each and every dish was delicious and superbly prepared.Service was absolutely tremendous and nothing to complaint in that department.

The prefect blend for taste and presentation .
The kebab are a delicacy to savour. This place demands a superior liking of food. The pan ice cream is a must try in dessert . All in all a gem of the radissons Indore.

hi i had bought a rezerved card from carlson... somehow i lost it... when i rung up they the lady called amrut from delhi said you have to register a formal complaint and pay charges for card reissue... so this the price for loyalty they want? i said if i have time i shall do it... thank god they didnt ask for a police complaint...

Excellent preparation of Mutton Galauti... By far the best in the town... A feast for hardcore non vegetarians..
And they definitely make you feel special..

The service was not up to the mark.I have ordered some main course dish which the Waiter told that it will be rich in gravy, but when it came it was totally dry.But when i told this to waiter he took the dish and added some gravy in the same dish. This isn't what people are coming to eat at your place.I ordered chilli garlic naan, buy again they served normal naan.
I don't know about others, but i m highly disappointed with the service of this place.
Shristi Patni
Situated on the upper ground floor, India Oye is an Indian speciality restaurant that brings together all the flavors of India. The vibrant restaurant ambiance is created using decorative items and artifacts handcrafted by Indian artisans who hail from different parts of India and have kept the tradition alive.
The menu offers an eclectic mix of the most popular speciality dishes from various regional cuisines across India. Several signature dishes created by their chefs compliment their elaborate menu. I recommend ordering Paneer Tikka Achari, Teen Mirch ka Paneer, Punjabi Kali Kadhai ki Dal along with some Kulche or Butter Naan.

India Dal Roti Sabji restaurant.. with taste of old songs ...
good ambience good service..
hard to remember last we thought to check inn....

As the name suggests, the restaurent flaunts the flavours of India. This is not for the middle class folk who want pocket friendly yet tasty food. The food quality stands apart undoubtedly and the perfection achieved in every dish is just unmatchable. The ambience is lovely and you will enjoy dining in this restaurent. But it will hit you hard on your pocket and monthly budget, mind that!

One thing common with all the restaurants in Radisson Blu, Indore is the warmth & hospitality. Each place is unique & offer varieties in ambience & food.
If talk about Indiya Oye in particular, the hotel successfully implies luxury with good food. From Decor to cutlery, furniture to fabrics, music to set up, everything compliments Indian culture.
They made us taste some new delicious dishes which are yet to be filed in their menu.
There were plenty of dishes set in Vegetarian & Non Vegetarian & also Desserts.
Let me tell you my favorites:
Non Vegetarian Starters
Murgh Bookni Tikka
Mugewala Kukkad
Vegetarian Starters -
Dastane Khumb
Sarsonwali Broccoli
Non Vegetarian Mains-
Murgh Patiyala
Kashmiri Narangi Macchi Curry
Murgh Ka Shweta
Vegetarian Mains-
Hare Mutter Ka Dulma
Triveni Khumb Ka Gujiya
Dum Ki Subz Biryani
Dessert-
Gold Kashmiri Phirni

Finally i was here at Indiya Oye some days back and it was wonderful having served by Radisson der new menu which is going to be introduced soon by the Executive Chef Mukhul.

I really liked the ambiance and the aura which was created by restaurant, everything was Indian. They had huge variety in artifacts and sculptures making this place even more beautiful. Well before starting what i had, let me tell you that this place is Al-a-carte based (no buffet). The staff was well trained and very humble in talking n serving.

Lets talk about the food now ;). We were given a scrolled menu where all the new dishes were written. We were served a 4 course meal in both veg n non veg variant and I'm only gonna tell you things which i really liked

1. Kharode ka Shorba: Not a fan of soups but if you want to have something warm n good for your taste buds then you can pick this. It is served with Laccha paratha . Soup is lamp based n had a strong flavor

2. Peshawar Bharwain Murgh: Peshawari style chicken had a stuffing or minced marinated chicken. I would recommend people to eat this one. (Ungliya chat jayenge aap)

3. Murgh Bookni Tikka: Out of every starter this took my heart n stomach both :p. I cant even tell how good it tasted. Do eat this with pineapple n dahi chutney

4. Dastane Khumb: A mushroom based veg starter. It us called Dastane bcz two types of Mushroom were like holding cottage cheese, amul cheese and dry fruits together. People will relish this completely

5. Dahi ke Kebab: Not like anyother dahi kebab. They were pan fried kebabs. A healthy version of this. You not gonna get this anywhere else. (Higly recommended to taste)

Lets talk about main course.....

6. Bhuna Ghost Sev: A lucknowi style Mutton tasted heaven to me. Like after so long I had this wonderfully cooked delicious minced mutton with strong flavors of aromatic spices made my day (highly recommended)

7. Hare Mutter ka Dulma: You wanted to try something in veg that is like as delicious as a cheese burst pizza. Then here it is . Small balls were made of peas n vegetables n wrapped up in a thick brown gravy. A Must try dish for veg lovers and try it with Oye Dal

8. Lucknowi Dum Ghost biryani: A Delicacy from lucknow served with vegetable curd. Mutton was perfectly cooked complimenting the garam masalas and rice

Here comes our dessert platter, Kashmiri Phirni and Kesar Pista Kulfi: This was cherry on the Cake, Phirni was perfectly made not at all sugary and kulfi was served with Rabdi. A perfect combination ❤

Thank you Radisson for inviting me to taste the new menu and will surely bring my colleagues n friends to taste these incredible dishes. #MyDJ

Nested in vijay nagar Indore, India Oye in Radisson blue is the perfect place to quench your thirst for Indian cusine with high culinary standards. If you crave for authentic Lucknowi food or typical avadhi food then head towards Radisson blue. On one fine day I visited this place for testing their new menu. Being a big foodie it was really hard for me to select personal favourite but still I'll try tell you about few dishes from the pallet of India Oye.
Soup: Kharode ka shorba was a great soup specially for winters. It was a bit spicy 🌶 served with Indian chapati which make this soup more authentic.
Starters: Dastane Khumb is a must order dish for mushroom lovers. It has two different mushrooms 🍄 stuffed with dry fruits, amul cheese and cottage cheese which gives this dish a very cheesy and creamy flavour. Believe me this dish will melt in your mouth.
Sarsonwali Broccoli: I think this dish is the brain child of chef Mukul. It was a great combination of English vegetables with mustard tinch. Highly recommended for those who like mustard flavour.
Dahi ke kebab: This was the perfect combination of taste and health. Traditionally dahi kebab are deep fry which consume lot of oil. But this was the pan fry dahi kebab which is hard to make culinary wise but good for health.
Main course: Hare mutter ka Dulma has Hyderabadi flavour for vegetarians. It has spinach dumplings with the filling of green peas. Gravy was very tangy and spicy with the authentic flavour of Hyderabad.
Oye dal: I loved this dal. Actually it is dalmakhini which you should must try.
Trivani khumbh ki gujiya: This half moon 🌙 shape dish reminds me the Indian sweet gujiya. It was the combination of three mushrooms 🍄 cremini mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms and button mushroom served with gravy which has brown onion and brown cashew.
Sweet dish: kesar pista kulfi is a perfect dessert.

Visited once.
Food is having large verities that if you taste them only you will be full. As per as taste is concerned i don’t find it exceptional but good.
Ambience was good as it is Radisson.
Don’t feel like i need to go there once more.
Sometimes i get better food in some mid size restaurants than radisson.
Overall experience was good.
Don’t have any plan to visit in future unless i need to. 😎
The restaurant is a part of Hotel Radisson, Indore and is North Indian cuisine based. I have always visited this place in the evening, and the first thing you notice as you enter is the decor and theme of the restaurant, it's amazing. And the ambience is good as well, they also have a live orchestra playing for the guests during dinner hours, and they even play songs on request. :)

Coming to the menu, the menu is exceptional and kind of interesting as well. There is a great variety of chats that you can find in the menu here and you'd really love it if you are fond of various varieties of chats. They also have various specialities and platters on various days. The food is good, but I won't say it great. I have tried a lot of things on their menu including the chats, platters and even non-vegetarian dishes. for the main course, non-vegetarian dishes are comparatively better.

Service was excellent, I am sure I will be there in this again soon, when I have a trip again in Indore.

My review that I posted few months back on my blog, I thought I should share my experience on Zomato too. I hope it helps :)
Indiya Oye is an Indian cuisine fine-dining restaurant at Radisson Blu Hotel, Indore which serves food delicacies from across India.

I was really delighted when I received invitation by the management of the hotel for food tasting session at Indiya Oye where they introduced us with their new menu which has been revised almost after 2 years. And the change is not minor, There are over 100 dishes in the menu and more than 50 items have been updated or replaced.

Before I get to the food let me tell you that the ambiance of this restaurant is just amazing, from its beautiful multi-colored furniture to traditional decor and the classical music that gives you perfect sense of Indian culture.

So what about food? you must be thinking,

“You don’t get authentic Indian food at 4 or 5 Stars Hotels/Restaurant” or

” The taste of Indian food is bland at luxury Hotels/Restaurants because they cater to international guests as well ” etc.

I’m sure you must have heard something similar many times or maybe felt same way about these category of restaurants.

But is it really true?

I’ll answer this question at the end of this review.

First lets go through what all I had at Radisson Blu’s Indiya Oye.
(Pictures of each item is attached in this review)

SHORBA/SOUP

Gosht nalli ka shorba:

A Mughlai broth made with bone marrow of lamb and Indian spices. Served with a Garlic bread, the shorba is spicy but with little bit of tangy taste to it. Overall It was a delicious start to my meal.

STARTERS

Non-Vegetarian

1) Jheenga Balchao:

An authentic Goan delicacy where tender prawns was marinated in traditional spices. A little spicy but tasteful, it reminded me of Masala Fried Prawns I had in Goa at various shacks. loved the authenticity !

2) Fish Tikka Amritsari:

Fish Amritsari with a twist as Chef describes it , It is a tandoor cooked Singhara fish which is marinated with red Amritsari masala and topped with chaat masala and roasted chana masala. Mouthwatering indeed !

3) Tandoori Chaampein:

At first glance it might look like a regular tandoori chicken but not to be mistaken with same as this delicacy is not that simple, Lamb chops pot roasted in a heady stock red spiced with cinnamon , cardamom and bay leaf and then it is grilled in tandoor. It was very soft and taste was something like I never had before. Must try !

4) Nizami Murgh Tikka:

Hyderabadi Chicken Tikka marinated overnight with sesame seeds and peanut cooked in clay tandoor with local spices, It will definitely be loved by the Nizam in you, Served hot like it just came out of the tandoor, I enjoyed this murgh tikka alot.

5) Lucknowi Galouti:

My favorite delicacy among the non-veg starters , This Oye! Signature dish is a must try at this restaurant. Similar to Galouti kebab from Lucknow , fine minced lamb cooked on a mahi tawa and
served within Ulta tawa paratha which was the highlight here. Dil Maange More for this one!

Vegetarian:

1) Tandoori Bharwaan Mushroom:

Char-grilled button mushrooms filled with spinach and cheese and coated with herbs and spices, the taste just explodes as soon as you toss one in your mouth. For the love of mushrooms do try this , you won’t be disappointed!

2) Subz Mewe ki Seekh:

If you are looking for some healthier option then this could be it, Vegetable seekh kebab flavored with cardamom and coated with khus-khus cooked in a clay tandoor. Try this with some green chutney!

3) Khumb Ki Galouti:

If you are a vegan and couldn’t try Lucknowi Galouti then don’t be disappointed , here at Indian Oye they serve minced wild mushroom galouti kebab served with Ulta tawa paratha which will impress you for sure.

4) Kale Channe ki Spicy Sammi:

My favorite delicacy among the veg-starters, Small Tikkis made from brown chickpeas flavored with fennel and chaat masala , but the surprise element was that it was filled with melted cheese which made it perfect as it blended smoothly with the spices. Oh it’s Delicious!

5) Pithi Wali Tikki:

Mashed potatoes mini tikkis stuffed with moong dal and infused with hing which was very apparent in taste. Very simple south Indian home-like recipe.

MAIN COURSE

Non-Vegetarian:

1) Raan-E-Patiyala Shahi:

Whole baby leg of lamb cooked in traditional Punjabi style with variety of Indian spices from which it gets a strong aroma and taste unlike any curry you have tasted before.

2) Raarah Murg:

Chicken Keema in semi-dry Punjabi curry spiced up with cardamom , yogurt and whole red chillies. Raarah Murg is every bit delicious in taste and appearance. It is a royal treat for the people who love chicken.

3) Nihari Ghost:

This Mughal delicacy comes straight from the famous place in Old Delhi, “Chandni Chowk”. Baby lamb shanks simmered slowly in stock with crushed black pepper, It is a specialty of Indiya Oye. The meat in the nihari is extremely soft, and the spices enhances the taste perfectly. A must try in main course.

4) Meen Moilee:
As sweet as its name, Meen Moilee is perfect for those who don’t want to go on spicy road. Though the recipe originally originated from Malasia/SIngapore, Meen Moilee is a very popular fish stew/curry in kerala that’s cooked in coconut milk and local spices. Mix it up with rice and you have a perfect combination.

5) Chicken Bharta:
I’m a huge fan of home-cooked ‘Baingan ka bharta’ , one of the important thing in a bharta is its texture and to be able to give that texture with shredded tandoori chicken is not a easy thing. This was the first time I had chicken bharta and it was just yummy.

6) Dhaba Gosht:

A less spicy home style mutton curry cooked and served in a cooker itself, the lamb was cooked in tomato based curry which gave it a sweet taste and ginger gave it a perfect counterbalance. It goes best with Rumali Roti.

Vegetarian:

1) Sirka Pyaaz aur Paneer Ka Kut:

A delicacy for paneer fans, Cottage Cheese cooked with pickle spices and served with thick gravy topped with Sirka Pyaaz/Onion which is the highlight of this dish. Simple yet tasteful!

2) Makai Matar Masaledar:

Straight from Rajasthan, this delicacy is about corn and peas cooked together in onion-tomato gravy with traditional Indian spices. A delightful dish for vegetarians. mouthwatering indeed!

3) Khumb Hara Pyaaz:

An exotic mushroom and green onion preparation cooked with yogurt and spices in a onion flavored gravy. Delicious and less spicy, this delicacy is perfect replacement for your regular paneer dishes.

4) Gobhi Methi Ka Tuk:

If you are looking a healthier option then Gobhi Methi ka Tuk should be your pick. It’s a rare combination of cauliflower and fenugreek leaves which makes it a perfect vegetable dish for health or calorie conscious people. Taste Bhi , Health Bhi!

5) Baingan Bharta Rawalpindi wala:
I have already mentioned my love for Baingan ka bharta , At Indiaya Oye I was served Baingan ka bharta with a twist, which was a nice and different experience then the home-cooked style bharta.

RICE/BIRYANI

1) Hyderabadi Kacche Gosht Ki Biryani:

A traditional Hyderabadi Dum Biryani where the lamb is cooked along with the rice in dum itself, I expected more from this dish but was left a little disappointed as the taste was bland and it just felt like I was eating plain rice, Maybe it wasn’t mixed well or wasn’t served right, but I will surely give it another try next time as the lamb pieces in it were quite delicious.

2) Rajasthani Gatta Pulao:

As I am not fond of Gatta ki sabzi or Gatta in general , I was amazed with the fact that I loved this pulao so much, Dum cooked high quality basmati rice with Rajasthani gatta curry and topped with fresh methi on top, It was a delicious and different experience for me. Loved it !

DESSERTS

Sometimes I wish I could just skip directly to the sweets because it’s my most favorite part of any meal. Sweet Tooth FTW !

1)Malai Kalakand:

A Rajasthani Malai Barfi which is known as Kalakand is something one can have at anytime of the day, it was so delicious and If I could say this to a waiter,

“Bhaiya, ye aadha Kilo Pack kardo” I would have. 😉

2) Gulkand Rasmalai:

A signature dessert at Indiya Oye, it’s a unique fusion of Gulkand and Rasmalai which goes perfectly together. So Yummy that I had two !

3) Kesari Phirni:

Kesari phirni is a kesar/saffron colored and flavored sweet dish, traditional to Kashmir. The kesari phirni served was very authentic with taste and the consistency was so perfect it didn’t fallout when chef held the cup upside down.

So finally my answer to the infamous question “Can 4star or 5star hotel/restaurant serve authentic Indian cuisine food?” is , Yes they definitely can. In fact the food at Indiya oye was so delicious and authentic I would recommend everyone to go and dine at this amazing restaurant. Its Worth It !

Very good experience.
But the hotel is too costly.
Everything is costier.
But the service was excellent.
I have never visited this hotel but in first time i have a good experienced.

The food @ radisson blu hotel indore is the worst. They serve the old basi smelly food. Not only sabji even roti's and papad . They charge so high but fail to serve even 1% of it. It is better to eat at road side dhaba than this hotel, who justifies quality of food against what is charged.

Just waao place !
Chef's are awesome
The food quality is beyond great!
Nice environment,
What I like the most is a pure Indian cuisine Restaurant in one of the best hotel in city .
A lot of option for both veg and non veg lovers.
Specially for the people who loves Indian food !
Good colorful ambience. Overstaffed. Wish they could divert some into their kitchens also. Service is very slow. It takes ages for main course to arrive. And taste a total disappointment. Paapri chaat was a good start. But the kebabs and the goan curry a total disaster. Kebabs were again pieces of unspiced chicken tandoored to cook and served in a pretty platter in a failed attempt to mask the disaster.
Not an extraordinary food! Ambience excellent! Service excellent! Quality of food is awesome! But the taste doesnt match the standard of hotel. The live music was soothing and adding charm to the environment. Overall a good experience but quality of food can be improved !

Radisson has always been a favourite for Sunday brunching scenes for obvious reasons like great ambience & live music, but honestly I've never been a big fan when it came down to authentic Indian food they serve. I'm an Indori by heart. I don't like bland food (sorry, not sorry!) but with this tasting session, they have managed to change my views.

We dined at Inḍiya Oye, which was a first for me. I've been to TCK quite a lot of times, but never tried Inḍiya Oye or Ni Hao. Now, I know I should have.

The first thing I noticed was the colourful interiors, deeply rooted in India's culture featuring handcrafted artifacts & it was a delight to my eyes.

Rustic furniture, embroidered curtains, colourful accent pillows, wooden table with chairs & bench style sofas just added to it's Indian appeal. Terracotta dolls, Handis, lanterns, art metalware of Rajasthan, handwoven baskets, beautiful paintings, wall hangings & all the wooden work successfully creates the true essence of India.

The 'bangle decor' took my breath away. It gives the feeling of visiting a 'haat bazaar' and it was visually appealing.

Time to talk about the food.

Radisson Blu has revised their menu to make it more authentic.

STARTERS

We started with Gosht Nalli ka Shorba. It's a bone marrow broth & you can call it a 'spicy version of the soup.' I'll definitely suggest you to try this one if you're a non-vegetarian as it is indeed a perfect starter.

For vegetarians, the menu includes tomato tulsi ka shorba which sadly I didn't try as I couldn't stop hogging on Gosht Nalli ka Shorba.

NON VEGETARIAN-

1. tandoori Champien-

Here's a little surprise for you lovelies. With this review, I'm SHARING its RECIPE by executive Chef Sujeet Singh -

It tastes as good as it looks.
There we go -

Tandoori Champien or Mutton Chops (served with flavourful chutneys) made the best pairing with the wines and drinks that followed.

You can never go wrong with Lamb chops but the chef has taken it to a new level. Simply phenomenal. DO MAKE THE DISH AND PLEASE SHARE YOUR VIEWS HERE 😄

2. Jheenga balchao

If you like spicy sea food, this is for you. Jheenga (Prawns) Balchao is basically a Goan cuisine, & has a fiery tangy flavour. If it was better seasoned and not undercooked, it could make for a great dish.

3. Fish tikka amritsari

Yes you heard it right. It's not fish tikka or amritsari fish, it's 'fish tikka amritasari' made with singhara fish marinated with red punjabi masala & cooked in tandoor - an innovation by the Chef Sujeet Singh to add that extra zing!

4. Nizami Murg Tikka

This Hyderabadi dish has a flurry of aromatic masalas. It's well tempered & grilled to perfection. Tandoori grilled tikka of chicken reserved overnight in a melange of Hyderabadi spices accented with dry onion seeds.

5. Lucknowi GALOUTI

As they say, save the best for the last. I can still distinctly remember it's taste. 'Galouti' or 'Galawati' means melt in the mouth & these kebabs does just the same. There's an interesting story behind the invention of this dish. This dish was especially made for the ageing Wajid Ali Shah nawab of Kakori, Lucknow. The Nawab had lost all his teeth but not his love for meat. So, galouti was made to satisfy his palate.

Usually They are made with beef but Radisson serves it with Lamb (thank goodness for that!)

If you are a non vegetarian & you haven't eaten this dish, you're definitely missing something. This dish in itself is a delight. I didn't even need chutney to eat it. Kebabs are softer than butter & are served with ulta tawa paratha.

Must try - Needless to say, Lucknowi galouti is the winner in this category.

VEGETARIAN -

1. Tandoori Bharwaaṅ mushrooms

Button mushrooms filled with spinach & CHEESE, coated with spicy marinade & chargrilled. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms but i will tell you that this dish was amazing. I absolutely loved it & yes, you gotta try this one.

2. Subz mewe ki seekh

No veg starter is complete without veg kebabs. These are flavoured in cardamom & cooked in clay oven. Since I was so immersed in eating Galouti kebabs that time, I totally ignored this one. Hence, I can't write about them without being biased so I'm passing.

3. Kumbh ki galouti

This is the vegetarian version of lucknowi galouti made with mushrooms cooked in mahi tawa, served with ulta tawa paratha.

4. Kale chane ki spicy sammi

Iske toh naam Mei hi spicy hai ;) It's made with black chickpeas. The chaat masala adds to its tongue tickling flavour. Sadly, there was nothing special about it. You can pass on this one.

5. Pithi wali tikki

You can never go wrong with potatoes & yet somehow I didnt like it. Maybe it was because of the strong Hing flavour. It has stuffing of moong dal & is cooked on mahi tawa. If you're okay with hing, you should try it.

*Mahi tawa is a copper vessel used for shallow frying*

Must try - tandoori bharwaaṅ mushrooms.

That's all for the starters.

MAIN COURSE -

I made the mistake which Iam pretty sure you all do at times. I ate too much of 'starters' to leave only a little space in my tummy for the main course, but nevertheless I ate it all. Being a foodie ain't easy man. Log samajhte hi nahi hai 😂

Non Vegetarian

1. Raan e Patiyala Shahi

It's slow roasted whole baby leg (raan is thigh) of lamb served with masaledaar gravy. It's one of those magnificent dishes that always create a stir when served at table.

2. Raarah Murgh

Enough with lamb, it's time for Chicken. It's a flavourful punjabi dish with keema. It was well cooked and tasted best with laccha parantha. You'll find whole red chillies in it. I'm glad they added yogurt to the mix so it's spicy but not that spicy. I didn't like it that much but it wasn't bad either.

3. Nihari Gosht

We were told that it's an specialty of Indiya Oye & after tasting it, we knew why. Baby lamb shanks simmered slowly in stock with crushed black pepper. If you love mutton, this is a MUST HAVE. Nihari is said to be originated in Old Delhi in the late 18th century when it was ruled by Mughals. The word 'Nihari' originates from Arabic word 'nahar' meaning day as it was served to kings after sunrise who would then sleep till afternoon.

The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. I loved it to the core and so will you if you're a hardcore non vegetarian. This dish is marvellous. It's said, "every good thing takes time" and well oh well Nihari is usually slow cooked overnight, so yes the saying makes total sense.

4. Meen moilee

I'm sorry I can not comment on this one because I've strong aversion for coconut but my friends seemed to love it. It's a popular Kerala fish stew cooked in coconut milk & spices.

5. Chicken bharta

Baigan ka bharta is a favourite so when I heard 'chicken bharta' you can imagine the excitement. It's something different and worth a try.

6. Dhaba Gosht

Ah! Ḍhaabe ke khaane ki baat hi niraali hai. Desipan jhalakta hai 💕 I loved it. Its home style mutton curry preparation flavoured with ginger.

7. Hyderabadi kacche Gosht ki Biryani

Biryani ne toh chaar chaand laga diye! Mashallah! Any Hyderabadi cuisine is bound to be a delicacy and so was this biryani. The texture of the meat was far more tender than how you find in the usual biryanis & the aroma just added to it's charm.

Must try - nihari gosht & biryani.

DESSERT -

Well, a meal is incomplete without the desserts. We were served -

Malai kalakand -

I'm not a big fan of kalakand & it was too sweet for me, Although everyone around me seemed pleased.

Gulkand rasmalai -

This was wow. The fragrance of gulkand and the taste of Rasmalai was a perfect combination.

Kesari phirni -

This was the winner. It's a kashmiri traditional dish. I sincerely can't stop raving about this one. You gotta try it.

Must try - Kesari Phirni.

That would be all folks.
My experience at Indiya Oye was delightful. Nothing beats the combination of Good food, good music 🎶 , good wine 🍷 & even better company.

Ambiance - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Non vegetarian Food - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Desserts - ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Presentation - ⭐️⭐️

Service - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Radisson has successfully created an inviting space for family gatherings. It's a must visit :)@

Food is not just food for me. Food is a language that knows no barriers. It's a conversation. It's a story. It's happiness.
Till next time.

Xoxo.

It's a clean restaurant and food was good my experience was good and staff also was very Maintained .
I'm happy with the food and with staff
I have been a hardcore Lover of the Indian Food all my life. No matter how much one can eat pizzas, burgers, noodles or pasta; true happiness can only be attained by having some chicken shicken te lachcha paratha.😉. Therefore, I was a overly excited when I got the invitation to taste the Radisson Blu’s very famous Indian Restaurant – Indiya Oye’s all new food menu.
Surabhi
Tasting the new menu at Indiya Oye...they have different dishes from various regions of india.yummy food and awesome ambience. If you are looking for some good indian food then visit this place. And yes do try kesar phirni in desserts.
Arush Vyas
Great place to be if you want a traditional indian meal ... except for the service that appeared to be involved in their own conflict but the taste covered it up....the decore is great...a highly recommend Ed place 👍☺
Shruti Vishwakarma
Great place. Ambience and music were all good. Great place to be in terms of everything. I just feel that the starters here were far better than the main course items. Felt this at every Radisson restaurant. Should try Lucknawi galouti cuz the taste was mesmerising.
Preeti
Awesome Food and ambience! We were mesmerized by the music and yummy delights! The service was very nice and courteous!
I recommend india oye to everyone!

On my travel recently I was invited to this restaurant. The ambience was neat....large seating area but very few covers for the night.

We had some prawns and meat platter which was good. For mains we had a Raan with rotis and rice and a gravy to go with. Taste was as expected from a radisson.

The dessert of jalebis with rabbadi was superb.

A bit pricey.....but as I was invited I did not much add this as a factor in my review.

Name delivered quality. Amazing experience. Decor was good though they have become pale and little rust over time. Service was fast and superb. Though range of food is less( menu contained some 4-5 items under some 5-6 heads each), the preparation can easily be customized up on demand and may provide a pleasant experience. Special attention to each and every aspect of diner both by the service persons and the lead will make you feel better. Selected goods of Indian dishes will provide pretty good dining.

This place is very special for me because I celebrated my last year's birthday. Food served was very tasty, ambiance was good with traditional touch, live music was cherry on the cake and service was quick.
Pranjal Devnani
One word to describe- stupendous👍 the ambience looks lovely and feels lavishly laid out with a north indian essence to it! Live classical music was a breeze! Even the live kitchen counters were a great add on!😬 food is hands down!👌🏻 delicious straight from the soups to the desserts! Must try the aloo chaat! Paneer in a palak gravy was really creamy and had that authentic punjabi essence to it! Jalebi and rabdi were fine! But my pick would be the paan icecream! A great serving indeed😋 must visit 🙏

This is one of the restaurants inside the Radisson Blu Hotel. The place is nice with a cool interior and has an Indian feel to it. There is live music (Ghazals and old Bollywood musical compositions). By the look of the restaurant you would surmise that the victuals would be great and tasty, but you will be disappointed. The pabulum we had was no where proximate to the pabulum you can get anywhere in the city and that too at a very decent price. We were not entirely satiated. The service was good though. So, if you are looking to spend mazuma on the ambience then this place is for you but if you optate to spend it on good aliment, then you might want to probe for other places.

Went for today's dinner here as part of Hyderabad food festival & I felt like eating in a road side dhaba.
My experience was
1) Person taken order forgot what was the order.
2) starter delivered on table before soup & the staff gives explanation that soup has been delivered to other table. Come on guys, you are kidding
3) after the starter, he again comes back & ask us to order main course ( all the order given at starting itself)
4) they call it as subz biryani in menu. When I enquired they told it is dum biryani. But the final product not even close to dum biryani ( neither taste nor preparation even close to dum biryani). My self belong to andhra & ate in Hyderabad numerous
times, I know how dum biryani taste.
5) not but least we order rotis with out oil, but it came full with oil.
Dear Radisson blue team, you have brand value in market. people will come to you expecting high level of service. Don't spoil that. Please keep in mind you are charging premium rates. We expect better service for the money we are spending.
For the first time had great food at Radisson. What a fabulous place. Awesome ambiance, cool decor, courteous staff, superb service, delicious food. Everything is just perfect. Wanted to taste everything on menu, so started with veg and non veg samplers, which had variety of 3 types of starters. Then shorba which was served in nice small cups...was almost done by now but the taste was so awesome that couldn't not stop frm tasting the main course. Jungli chicken and allepey machli curry were superb. Some spinach preparation with paneer was also gr8. Overall a must visit place.
Taste - 10/10
Ambience- 9.5/10
Service- 9/10
Value for money- 8/10.

So i wanted to take my mom for dinner with my first salary and luckily she had come down to indore to visit me and somehow i decided to try indiyaa oye ! As we entered this place the whole rajasthani folk decor took me by the sight ! So finally comin down to food ! I wouldnt rate the food as extraordinary. But the Hyderabadi dum biryani was good and so was the chicken chingari (not sure of the name ). Definitely prices are on the higher side as the restaurant belongs to a huge multinational chain of hotel.

A perfect destination for a nice outing. The place has really great ambience with a passion packed staff. The welcome drink , the decor , each and every thing was to detail. All of it represented the Urban Indian culture. The food was delicious. I ordered a veg platter which had all the variety of the starters , the akhrot dahi kebabs were so tender that they actually melted in the mouth. The tamatar ka shorba was so fresh that u could have it all at once and order another. All in all it was a great experience . The staff members were very much helpful and generous. The Jalebi is a must.

Despite my loyalties towards the hotel as a whole, this is one of the few things that are a miss by a mile in my opinion. Have visited the restaurant a couple of times by now, and somehow, when you exit the place, you are left wondering whether it was worth it.......and I do not mean just financially.

The ambiance is traditional to say, but its burdened with such a mix of colours and flavours that should be your first warning sign. What does come out promising is the service staff lead by Saumen and Shrikant who are great in making you feel comfortable, but are unfortunately let down at the pass, through which the food comes out.

Recently having visited the restaurant again (mainly due to some kebab festival advertised), I realised that whats lacking is the actual drive towards creativity and experimentation in providing the palate with a taste that would define the brand that this restaurant represents. Forgive me for this as I have vocally voiced out before that their flagship restaurant The Kebab Factory was way above any other restaurant I had visited in the city, which they shut down for reasons best known to them.

Their festival menu contained fancy names given to items which would regularly feature in any fine dining inclined towards Indian cuisine thereby making the entire experience all the more disappointing. For the herbivores on the table, we had ordered the Paneer Kofta with a request for it to be made spicy, and what was served was something that could have well replaced a dessert. Their seekh kebab or the Mutton Gaulati kebab were just as disappointing, making us savour the veg galauti which is saying something!

When a brand like radisson on one end can boast of a restaurant like Ni hao, this is somewhat a let down, and I daresay that their loss comes from the work force they have behind those transparent windows.

Service is impeccable as is the case throughout the hotel, who own 2 of the 3 stars that I have awarded Indiya Oye in this rating of mine, but thats all there is to it for the moment.

I would love for this to improve which would take a certain revamping in the ranks, but until that happens, the only reason to visit Indiya Oye would be if you are a Rezerved Carlson member who doesnt have a preference for the oriental cuisine, and are looking for means to swipe that card for discount. Even then....."Caveat Emptor!"
Tanay Pahare
Indian Oye has a great ambience. It has a rustic Indian theme. There's a live kitchen and a stage for music performance. We had Veg Galouti Kebabs, Dahi Papdi Chaat, Daal Makhani, Rajasthani Bhutta, Khatta Pyaaz Paneer (can't recall the exact name) and Afghani Naan. The food was good! Do try the afghani naan, which is made with dry fruits. The place bought a refreshing change from the usual Sayaji and Shreemaya. Do visit this place once, but be prepared to burn a big hole in your pockets!
Gurpreet Saluja
I was stunned when I visited Indiya Oye. I didn't expect this experience to be that pleasant because Radisson didn't please me much when I visited there in its initial months. But, with time, they've transformed and they've changed for better. Highly Recommended. :D
Rajlaxmi Choudhury
What can i say !..Sudh Desi Khanna....so much that you can even smell the aroma of ghee. The entire ambience is very 'Indian' complimentating the name of the restuarant. When I visited, they also had in-house singers singing ghazals and vintage songs. We ordered kebabs, biryani, veg tikkas and much more. Fine taste and splendid aroma. I would definitely suggest a visit. But plan it properly as the rates might get bit heavy on the pockets.

after disappointment at Kebabsville . We headed to Radisson with 0 exceptions .

We discoverd Indiya Oye .

It was happy surprise . Aesthetic Indian Interior , beautiful ambience , live Indian music , good service and tasty food .

must visit

A very nice restaurant in this hotel. Food is tasty with the cuisine being North Indian.
Service is satisfactory and the ambiance is lovely. One of the best restaurants in the city.
Dr. Shaleen Jindal
Amazing ambience, amazing food, prompt staff. I had a chance to visit it once and it is one amazing place to be. Authentic Indian food. The rural setting adds a touch of its own to the place. This place has some mouth watering starters and mocktails too! Much better than TCK.
Thumbs up!
Rahul
The momentbwe reached the door we were ushered in by an efficient ushergirl... Whose name I don't remember... She was so efficient and pro active...that she even offered to shift our table forward...
It has an amazing milieu...decorated with classical Knicks knacks from everyday Indian life... Like a milkman cycle... Rajasthani jhumar...tea pots etc.
Our server kailash was prompt as kite and never let us serve by ourselves from the utensils.
We had Lal mirch paneer for starters which was tastefully chunky.for main course... We had teen mirch ka paneer... Ajwayan bread and olive naan... Amazing.
Guys... Just one absurd thing...charging a measly forty bucks mineral water at 149 bucks is simply not done.
Chiranjeev Kothari
Now this is what we we call quality eating. This restaurant is probably one of the finest places to eat in Indore. The taste, the quality, the feel-it was all spot on.
This restaurant has got traditional interiors which are very vibrant and appear very pleasing to the eye.
The food was great. A perfect place to go with family or friends.
The cooking was artisitic. Simply awesome!
Ardhya
This one found inside one of the best hotels in the city so definitely trying to push harder to sustain the pressure and keep their standards high and known.

Its apparently visible that they are pushing harder and trying out things in pressure and not passion. The food is good but its definitely not where it should be. Service and hospitality is nice (has to be isn't it?). But the food has to be better.

Ambiance is pretty nice.
There is music. At times live. In which they play/sing old Hindi songs.
Definitely trying to keep up the Indian spirits. But hey Indian doesn't have just one genre.

Anyways. 3.5 will do at the moment
Ankitcoward
Food is good but worst service ever seen in the city . very disappointing crew of indiya oye.
Nimish Pande
Good ambience. Good service. Delicious food. The waiters were very courteous. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food was good even on a Sunday

Indian handicrafts, paintings and the rich bright colours so synonymous with our country strikes you when you enter Radisson Blu Hotels exclusively Indian cuisine restaurant. The place is tastefully decorated and furnished with a touch of rural India showing the art's and crafts of the nation.
The menu also does justice to the diverse food gastronomy that is India. They have made an earnest effort to present the popular dishes from the varied regions of our motherland.
The starters include various kebabs, tikkas and vegetarian options which are excellent and served with tasty chutneys. The fish tikkas and galaouti kebab stand out. The main course is designed keeping in mind the regional cuisines which are well represented. The drinks served are from the regular well appointed hotel bar. The also serve a traditional royal cuisine in a thali.
India Oye is a stand out place in Indore to savour the vast range of Indian food in comfortable and appealing surroundings.
Prateek Motwani
India Oye is one of the worst restaurants in Indore..me and my wife visited India Oye in September..we went there on a Sunday..the place was crowed with children shouting and running all over the place...we ordered chicken 69 for entre and mutton curry with malabar parantha and roomali roti..we didnt like the food that time but we didnt complain..later I had to be hospitalized due to severe case of food poisning..I can tell u, you dont want to go through of all the pain I went through..hence long story short..find a better place to eat..this restaurant is not worth ur time, health, and money. Worat restaurant ever, Classless.

I have dined two times at Indiya Oye and I liked the experience both times. The service is excellent and the food is great too. There is live old hindi music playing and while the quality of that isn't great, it provides a nice atmosphere. The interiors have been given an Indian touch. While this is more expensive than the usual north Indian restaurants in Indore, it is worth the money for the combination of food and a fine dining experience.

Food and culture are two issues we handle jointly and I think it very important part of every humans life , what India OYE is trying to so blend some of India's best cuisine to your plate

Ambiance: from the regular pattern of sophisticated looking five star moods they have made it to a different. I found this as a cool place and have a basic feel to make me more comfortable and is decorated with lots of Indianised things, which I would say let everyone to experience it .
Service: I could find it as a great service! At INDIA OYE, Impressed with the welcome and the experience was perfect.
The rice and Yellow Dal was something tinkled my taste buds , paneer tikka and chicken tikka tasted good. The Fresh Lime Soda was the perfect drink to get us going by the dinner. Their quantities are perfect for a family of three.

I would love to come back again to India Oye , since it something different and I felt is it perfect dine out environment
