Review Gurukripa Restaurant - Indore

Nidhi Bakliwal
This is my go to place while I am at Indore ! If you are a Dal Batti / Dal bafla lover , this place is most recommended. The place is huge & beautifully designed with multiple dinning areas. The hospitality is warm & welcoming while the service is prompt. The North Indian Food & Snacks tastes good too.

Everything you need to fill your tummy up is there. Food is delicious, service is good, atmosphere is pleasant, they have h big parking space, prices are also not too high... Loved the place and food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I decided to try the chef's special of the day and it did not disappoint! The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was beautiful. The service was also top-notch. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a comfortable and inviting setting. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!

Guru Kripa in Rau is a haven for food enthusiasts seeking delicious vegetarian fare. Their menu presents an array of tantalizing dishes that truly elevate traditional Indian flavors. From aromatic curries to savory snacks, each dish showcases a mastery of spices and culinary finesse. What sets Guru Kripa apart is its commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience. The cozy ambiance, while simplistic, fosters a comfortable setting to enjoy the delectable offerings. The attentive service further enhances the overall visit, adding a personal touch to every meal. Vegetarian diners especially appreciate the diverse options available, catering to various tastes and preferences. The kitchen's dedication to using quality ingredients is evident in the flavors that burst with authenticity. However, occasional reports of inconsistency in food quality might need attention to ensure a consistently delightful experience for patrons. Guru Kripa stands as a commendable choice for those seeking flavorful, vegetarian meals in Rau. Despite minor fluctuations in food quality, the restaurant's commitment to delivering tasty and satisfying dishes makes it a go-to spot for enjoying authentic Indian cuisine with friends and family.

Nice place for meals. Family friendly restaurant. Staff is polite. Waiting time is very less or no time. You can also make reservation. Separate waiting area with small playhouse for kids. Option of having meal outside in open or in hall is available. Food is served timely, you need not to wait long. No problem for parking. Almost 50-60 cars can be accommodated. Food quality is good but little can be improved. Small celebration or party can be arranged here. Overall a good experience. This hotel is not part of other Gurukripa hotels in Indore. And they accept cash and card. Other Gurukripa hotels say no to cards even POS machine is running.

Hello Guys, Visited the place recently, the place is good for long drives, and situated near medicaps & red maple mashal. The place is a proper dhaba, and has a open garden sitting, The place is big, we managed to get seats in time, even when it was crowded. Now talking about the food, Ordered Veg. Kothe, Lahsuni Panner tikka and masala papad in starters, Where kothe and panner tikka was very good, but papad was too thin and taste less, In main course we ordered Kaju masala, panner kolhapuri, stuffed nan, butter nan, garlic nan and tandori roti, Where kaju masala was good, panner kolhapuri was tasty and spicy as it should be, but the nan they served were too thin and were too much cruchy, nan should be soft and not hard to chew, tandori roti was as it should be. Service and hospitality was as it should be in a dhaba, Overall experience was good, One suggestion to every foodie, not a place for experiments. Overall Recommended.

Excellent place for dining with ample space for sitting. Hygienic practices by the food handlers. Token system for ordering food. Clean Toilet facilities available. Space for party available. Filtered Drinking water also available. Overall clean Atmosphere.

Ample of seating space. Morning breakfast is indore poha, jalebi, kachori, hot milk. Items are fresh and taste. Lots of green cover all around and plenty of seating space. Small kids zone and open areas around. Good for breakfast.

Nice place for stop food Here I visited during the weekend. The place requires pre booking or on stop booking and must be recommended for a family dinner. I. Visited here with my 11 family members and we had to only wait for 5 minutes to get seated and the food that we ordered , we didn't have to wait for the same we ordered and we got the same, ambience is very good, place is definitely very crowded if you visit during weekend but the food quality and quantity was so good. and along with this the bill for 11 people dinner cost you very less ,I can say that and I was shocked when I was the bill was affordable for every one. I am recommending the place for a family or friends dinner

Best place to visit with family it’s a non alcoholic place… We can have guilt free food since it’s completely veg. Quality of the food is amazing. Recently they organized otla fest, which waa awesome, we enjoyed with family and friends. Highly recommended

Liked the food. It was not very spicy. We ordered for paneer bhurji and mix veg. We ordered for butter roti garlic naan, dahi, steam rice and masala papad. Everything was good. They gave us pudina chutney and fried green chilly. We were 6 of us and the bill was 1265 rupees. Very reasonable and fulfilling.
SAMPADA JOSHI
The food was too good. I had Masala Papad, Dal Tadka, sone Paneer Sabzi, Tava Roti, Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai. Each thing tasted great especially the Dal Tadka. I became a big fan of it. One must order for their dal tadka for sure. Gulabjamuns were too good, too!

Guru Kripa At Pitampur chauraha in Rau on Mumbai-Indore highway around 25 km fom Indore is a huge restaurant serving fresh quality food at reasonable price. It serves rich variety for BF, lunch, dinner, and local and other fast food. It had a huge seating area and ample parking. The place is frequently visited by nearby university students and staff apart from road travelers. I will recommend this place for real value for money and fresh food. Mr Raghuvanshi, attendant at the restaurant was a pleasing person and very helpful.

Been travelling on AB Road to n fro for 30+ years yet first time noticed this spot while travelling back from Khargone on the way to bhopal with my wife and 9month old daughter. That's why choosing a kid safe place was priority. Just saw this place and decided to take a short stop. But what awaited us surprised us big time. When we entered the place, the ambience was amazing and seating was very well put. We decided to take a corner table and kept some of our stuff there on table. To our surprise what we have not seen happening in some 5 stars we have visited happened there, the staff without us asking noticing the baby with us brought a kid feeding chair instantly. That just surprised us and the staff was so polite and so helpful. Daughter enjoyed the place a lot too. They brought her balloons too when we left. We loved the chinese food we two had and still craving the taste. Hygiene was top notch. Very cost effective. Amazing experience. Thanks to staff and management for such a fine experience. Going to visit again soon.

Situated on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway, this restaurant gives an immersive Dhaba feel despite the table-chair dining system. The sitting space is placed below the road level and buffered by greenery to avoid hustling traffic. The staff here is helpful yet a bit absent-minded( brought out wrong orders twice)though they compensate by complimentary dishes if they are at any fault. Price is cheaper than moderate with ample quantity and quality. A must dine-in place if you are exploring Indore.

Very known and reliable place for tasty food. It's a branded chain of GK, Indore. I have been gone to many times at this location. Food was awesome and also the space is very large. Also no issue for parking. You can pay online as well as offline. Rates are also nominal as it's a dhaba outside Indore. You can rely and go for this.

I visited Gurukripa many times. Talking about the ambience , I didn't like it's ambience as it's more like a dhaba but bigger in size. I like it's kaju curry, all paneer dishes, butter roti, peanut chaat, lassi. I don't like it's fast food. If you visit GK in morning time, you will get poha Jalebi, dhokla, kachori ,all of them are worth trying. They have separate counter for icecreams as well. You will find a lot of student crowd there as it is situated in front of Medi-Caps University. You can visit this place for awesome indian food but avoid fast food like pizza, chili paneer, crispy corn etc.

Everything was tasting perfect<br/>The service was also good<br/>There is a waiting on sundays but it is worth waiting
AMBIKA SHARMA
when I ordered veg. pakoda and veg. crispy corn, some beverages were automatically added but the Restaurant people are not aware of it, and hence not supplied.  That way I had to pay Rs.120/- more.  When I asked the Restaurant about this they said it is not there in this order and the it was mentioned in the bill they provided.  Some fraud in between.

The paneer masala is amazing. They have an elaborate menu. There is something for everyone. The best part is that its pocket friendly. Must visit place.

They are providing horrible and unhygenic food. After taking their food i got acidity. Without salt food they are delivering. Food delivery is taking so long time.

Being "polite and friendly", i had the worst experience with this place. This restaurant is famous and its supposed to make good food. I ordered a paneer vege today with daal makhani and butter naan and none of the item tasted even okaish. The paneer was uncooked. Butter naan was not how it is supposed to be and what shall i tell about daal makhani...it was not daal makhani at all. I don even know whether they know how to make it. It was a combination of udad daal with sprouts and rajma! And the gravy was runny as hell without any salt. Over all this, they charged me overly extra for the delivery. I had the worst experience with the restaurant and would not recommend for a home delivery at least.<br/>

Visit recently with friends for a quick lunch. Place is crowded but we are able to get a table for the lunch. Service is quick and smooth. Food is little bit on spice side but taste is good. Overall good atmosphere with a dhabha feeling.

Well, who has not been here.<br/>A perfect budgeted restaurant with a delicious taste. Decent ambience, reasonable prices and quick service. This is what makes all outlets of Guru Kripa slightly more better. Whatever you order, they would never disappoint you. My experience has always been good here.

Food was very spicy inspite of special instruction for preparing less spicy.Heard a lot about GuruKripa but order didn't turned out as expected<br/>

It was a decent restaurant. Not a fancy one but it's loved by locals because food is good and so that's why it's always crowded. You should definitely try this place out

Had heard a lot about this place so finally i decided to try this!! Guess what... I still regret my decision. 👎🏼<br/>We were a group of 5 friends over here on a Sat evening. For the first 10 minutes, there was no one to attend. Somehow we got the menu than for the next 10 minutes.<br/><br/>Items ordered were<br/>- Masala Papad<br/>- Crispy Corn<br/>- Veg Lollipop<br/>- Matar Mushroom<br/>- Dudh Sev<br/>- Garlic Naan<br/>- Daal Tadka<br/>- Jira Rice<br/><br/>- Crispy Corn was okay with normal taste and crispness. Nothing special. Veg Lollipop were a huge disappointment. The binding was chewy and hard. The filling was also not up to the mark.<br/><br/>- Matar Mushroom was just okay in taste. However the peas should have been given an extra boil to make them more soft. However the mushroom was totally dry and it felt like they just changed the main ingredient from "Matar Paneer" to "Matar Mushroom"<br/>Dudh Sev, which used to be a famous dish from this place was also a disappointment. You can surely find better taste of this dish in the city.<br/><br/>- Garlic Naan<br/>If this has to be a Garlic Naan, then I must say... There should be no Garlic Naan. 😀 Such a thick bread which so rubber like consistency. The thickness made the Naan uncooked from its corners.<br/><br/>Daal tadka, Jira Rice were just okay in taste unlike other places.<br/><br/>However, they really need to work on their service and serving time. Highway side dhaba style food joints can't have such long service time. I mean, who takes 10 minutes to serve a bottle of coke.<br/>This wasn't a good experience. Wish they work on their service.

Its a good veg restaurant with decent price. The quality of food is also good, and they reaaly have some good variety. Frim snacks to main course, they have everything.
Prashant Jhakarwar
Paneer butter masala was good, but Butter roti is like hell.. so crispy that I needed the knife! I order mausambi juice with icecream which tastes like shit! Better never order juice at your place. Daal was good as well. So I gave overall rating 2.

Delivery experience!<br/><br/>They do provide quick service but one consistent complaint I have with them is the spice level in their food. Pretty much all the dishes have been consistently spicy. <br/><br/>I’d ordered their fried rice and paneer butter masala and their fried rice was spicy and with so much masala I definitely didn’t like it. Their paneer butter masala was great! Sweet and creamy just the way it is supposed to be!<br/><br/>Definitely order their gravies. Rice I’m not so much of a fan!

One of the worst parathas i had.... I ordered 4 kinds of parathas and all were made up from maida purely.... And the garlic lachha parathha... Oh godd.... Worst is not an appropriate word for it.... My god... How can u even make such parathhes....
Sandeep Avhad
Quality and taste of the food wasn’t up to the mark. In Veg biryani founding little stones and Sev tamatar Was absolutely worst quality ever I had.
Saksham Vinchurkar
Ok the place is good but when it comes to items only some of them are worth it I recently ordered crispy corn, and I won't recommend it to anyone as it's tastes like it was burned , but coming to vegetables matar paneer is good the rates are ok overall place to make a stop and have a lunch but not the starters or snacks

Pros <br/><br/>service is fast <br/>Staff is polite<br/>Food quality , quantity and price everything is quite satisfying <br/>Budget friendly <br/><br/>Cons -<br/>Toilet facility may not be upto your expectations, specially for women! <br/>Maximum crowd is local so it may not full fill your expectations in the ambiance you might be expecting <br/>You can go there with friends , family or may be with kids but this place is not for romentic dates or for special occasions!

If you love food after long drive so this place is for you. Actually it's out of the city, so you give some time to your family and friends. Taste of food is lovely and very very pocket friendly.you will definitely like the food with flavors of indore. Seating arrangment is same as dhaba style. But it very much populer singers you have to wait for your no. Some time it takes more than 30,40 min but waiting area is quite engaging for kids. Visit ones and share your review also.

BAKWAAS AND THIRD CLASS ....THIS IS NOT FAMILY RESTURENT...THERE IS NO MANAGER ...TO LISTEN PROBLEM...VAITERS ARE ROUDLY.. THEY PAAS YOU FROM TABLE TO ANOTHER TABLE.
Arpit Dammani
Been to this place on weekend with family, average time was 15min. Starters we ordered paneer pahadi which was extra chewy and veg lollipop which was less cooked . Talking about the main course it was good in taste and justified taste of main course. Generally people come here with a long drive and considerable space in stomach, so a bit lesser taste also sometimes suffice the food.<br/>Ambience was below average , table clothes were dirty and stinky(may be due to climate),people appreciate the service here but I was not satisfied
Rajat Pawar
Experience was good... pocket friendly menu.. Good staff... need some improvement in taste... not satisfied with the taste... overall experience was average.. Not recommended

This is really disgusting that we feel the staff of restaurant is unprofessional about this hospitality .they don't know how to treat with guest we were waiting for an one hour they saying family is must priority what we are not paying money or what. I lol never suggest my friend to this place.<br/>

The perfect feel of a dhaba and the drive adds to it . The service is lighting . The food is awesome with dripping deliciousness of northern highway taste . Will keep visiting

Not so great place to dine, though Indore people feel good about this.. I dont recommend to dine, atleast not with family..<br/>Lazy service and not attentive.. <br/>
Ambuj Gupta
A grandiose setup brushing the highway always horded with customers. A super economic option for travellers as well as for pseudo eating out purpose. The food is above average and perhaps the fact that the deft staff makes the dishes in a standardised way makes this place a safe bet for your eatouts. We ordered Bhindi Kurkuri, Dal Makhani and Paneer Tikka and the food was fine given the prices and outlet setting. The water sprinklers maintained the optimum temperature too. Overall a good experience.

A GK out of GK...another paradise for Indian food.<br/><br/>(+) Easily reachable.<br/>(+) Nice taste - try their day special paneer along with yellow daal tadka, they taste great.<br/>(+) Nice ambience - Nice place to sit with family, safe and secure.<br/>(+) Staff behaviour - I've been to this place many time with my family and every time their service has been nice.<br/><br/>(-) No negatives as such except the rush which you can face on peak hours.. specially on weekends. Try going little early if you are planning to go for a dinner in the evening.<br/><br/>Overall Recommended !!!

A good dhaba while you're driving towards Mumbai or Pune from Agra. Just on the outskirts of Indore, serves good vegetarian food and beverage. Also doesn't have much waiting time and pocket friendly.
Manish Jhawar
Food is too much oily , they are making food in palm oil ........ Service is fast .....<br/>Although rate is too much reasonable but compromising quality
Mohsin Khan
Good taste but service is very slow. Sitting arrangement is not up to the mark. But overall it is cost effective restaurant. We can have some good food here.
Ragini Tindwani
I had recently been there for lunch, it is located on the main road itself. It has quite a large area covered. The seating arrangement was average and the staff was not that attentive too. But the taste for the food covered it all. The food was authentic gurukripa taste.
Moiz Husain Bohra
If you want to be disappointed then dine here. Food was soggy and cold. Slate paneer and mushroom. Wait staff, not friendly. Do not waste your time this place is a dive.

I was totally disappointed by this place. I heard a lot about the place that it serves an amazing food but it was not the case. <br/><br/>It looks like an highway Dhaba with a very reasonable menu. Maximum starter rate would be 95 and a 120 of main course.<br/><br/>We ordered masala papad, veg kothe, paneer tikka in starters and paneer maharani, paneer chatpata, dal fry, rice and breads in main course<br/>. <br/>The food was average not at all good... still for people who are hungry n coming from a long drive like we were... a good Place to have lunch or dinner

Food is tasty but their is a huge crowd.<br/>Whenever you go there you've to atleast for 25-30mins.<br/>Sometimes you got too much of oil in your dishes.<br/>Servive is very slow.<br/>Taste is good but not upto your expectations.<br/>Price is high as compare to food served there.<br/>Overall average place with a huge crowd.
Ishan Muktibodh
Gurukripa is an age old dhaba located in rau in front of the medicaps college of engineering. Due to its reasonable pricing and decent north Indian food, it is flocked by people all day long. Always expect students enjoying the food and criticising their mess. The decoration is minimal but more than what one should expect at a dhaba. You will definitely get the dhaba feeling here and that is why this place checks on the ambience column.<br/>The seating is quite large. They have both indoor and outdoor arrangements. At night, the family and bachelor's sections are segregated. The service is fast and the waiters are very attentive and enthusiastic.<br/>The food however is not that great, but you can't expect a lavish meal at reasonable price.<br/>Apart from the major north Indian cuisine which the place is known for, it offers some Chinese options aswell.<br/><br/>The things which me and my friends ordered included chilly gobhi, chilly chana and masala papad for starters. The chilly starters were prepared in schezwan sauce and tasted good. Even the masala papad was decent. The papad was roasted well and the masala was well prepared. The starters raised our expectations from the main course, to which it failed terribly. The mandatory dhaba order (for me) which is sev tamatar was one of the two sabjis we ordered. The other one being paneer rimjhim. Sev tamatar was a major disappointment. The paneer gravy was normal, but the way this dish was served was eccentric. <br/>Overall the main course was not as good as I expected it to be. It simply did not match the GK standard.<br/>The place also has a small tea stall. I would say, the tea is a must try beverage there. This tea with ginger leaving its tinge in it to perfection Completes the meal perfectly.<br/>Recommended if you love dhaba's, North Indian food and are low on cash.
Tanmay Fadnis
Good quality food, served fresh and quick service. This place actually give you feel of  dhaba when you sit outside. Easy to locate, overall a good value for taste and money. Must try methi mutter malai.<br/>Recommended..

It's an average place for quick highway food during a journey. All time to-go place for Medicaps crowd.<br/><br/>Can have: Sev sabzi (traditional, very spicy)<br/>bhindi masala (very crispy)<br/>Masala milk (this is really good here)<br/>lassi<br/>Poha<br/>Khichdi<br/><br/>Avoid: too much sabzi (it mostly oily and too much spicy)<br/>Chinese items<br/>Aaloo Bade<br/> <br/>Service 4/5, Ambiance 3.5/5 <br/>Pocket friendly.

I won't recommend it until u can go to guru kripa restaurants at sarwate and m.g. road but if u are near rau and don't want to go far then u can visit here.<br/>At this price guru kripa in indore serves better food with more quantity and nice sitting.<br/>It has only plastic chair and an open air restaurant.<br/>Food is good and also pocket friendly but if u can go to gurukripa in indore then please go there.

A place for all those out there who fancy a long drive and 'dhaba' like ambiance. Except for the absence of cots GK Rau is a dhaba in every sense. This statement is both a compliment and a comment. There are aspects like outdoor seating near the highway and cheap food which make it appealing. But at the other hand the quality of food is something which puts this place to question. <br/><br/>Talking about the location, well as I said it's located on the outskirts of the city. The place is huge if we talk about the land they have. The seating is well organized and one can sit indoors or outdoors according to convenience. They have a big kitchen but the hygiene parameters remain a doubt. Usually this place is full of people. Sitting outside especially at night is pleasing not only because of the location but more so because of the plantation they've done which is quite alleviating. Thumbs up for the huge parking space.<br/><br/>The menu is a typical dhaba menu with primarily Indian cuisine along with few Chinese options. The rates are make this place pocket friendly. Though during one of my visits I found a lack in the coordination between the staff which hampers the service.<br/><br/>I've tried a lot of things here which includes chilly gobhi, chilly chana, masala papad for the starters. The chilly items had similar gravy which was actually the Indo chinese schezwan . Basically it was semi dry in texture. The taste was good though. For the main course we ordered sev tamatar and paneer rimjhim. To be honest the main course was very disappointing. The sev tamatar was bland and lacked the kind of spice the dish originally has. The paneer grave was again average in taste. The presentation of the paneer was good according to the dhaba standards. But as they say it's the taste which matters the most. The food was oily which was expected. But then overall the quality of food wasn't good. <br/><br/>I won't call this place a complete disaster due to many reasons. Having said that for a change this place is perfect. If you are bored of the usual restaurants in the city and want to go somewhere new then this is your place. The food is not delectable but the overall experience makes this place worth visiting.<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

Practically everyone recommended this veg restaurant.....<br/><br/>I am not going to recommend this to anyone based on my experience. Food is okay not so great.<br/><br/>Seating arrangement is not all good, just plastic chairs with no cushion.<br/><br/>Its open air restaurant, and no lawn....<br/><br/>Too much hype about this veg restaurant, but it's not really...<br/><br/>
