Do visit here for tasty vegetarian food. Located on main road. Parking for few cars is available. Ambience is good. Food is tasty. Lot of options are available. For many items, they do provide half plate - reduces food waste. Better nit to order too many items as qty are large and you might end up in wasting the food. Station is just 10 minutes away from here - through auto.

Delicious taste of food items like paneer makkhanwala, malai kofta.Soup served too was very tasty by young energetic smiling staff. They served a good food overall. Neat and clean washroom that too outside restaurent which clearly depicts their mindset towards cleanliness and hygiene. Tandoor roti was such crispy and fresh because of it you have to eat an extra bite for sure. I would highly recommend this place for frequent visitors and travellers if they are in search of a good restaurent within city.waiting can be an issue but it's worth if delicious food is served.

Covid-19 🦠update:- This was during🎅🎄 xmas dinner with family members and we were happy with their service with staff wearing 😷masks, soaps🧼 at washing area and place being minimal crowded. In fact alternate table was kept empty following social distancing. ~~~~~~~~ Casual restaurant popular with family, groups and couple. Serves pure veg food. Parking in late evening is little difficult.

This is a fine dining place in Indore. The ambiance is good as well as the food is also tasty! It is recently reopened after renovation but still the food quality and taste is like before only. They have a small banquet hall also for small parties and get together. Much recommended place to visit for a North Indian cuisine.

Recently visited one of the popular restaurants of this area. Heard lot about this place. Once you enter the place it has decent cozy ambiance with some amazing wall painting.<br/>Once you order the food you starts getting disappointed that why the hell on earth you selected this place. We have ordered soup, starters and main course, and only thing we liked is soup. Main course was average even their Alav special wasn't that good.<br/>Service was really good with such a courteous staff. I guess it takes no time to serve stale or uncooked food.<br/>So if you want good food don't go with popularity of this place you might get disappointed.

I have ordered 1 veg. Kothe and 1 paneer zaika as main course. With #disappointment i would suggest alav restautent to #maintain the food taste. Veg kothe looks and taste like dry Manchurian and very sweet. And the paneer zaika was very spicy with hard peices of paneer in it. Alav as a premium restaurant should look in the matter and should improve the quality and taste. Thankyou

I recently ordered Dal Tadka nd Butter Paneer Masala, and I specifically mentioned to put less oil nd make less spicy in cooking instructions, but i guess they misunderstood it nd on the contrary put more oil in Dal tadka and Butter Paneer masala was tasteless. Seriously i wonder how come it has 4 rating. Usually i dont put reviews, but i had to this time as i was seriously let down by the quality of food which i was served.

I ordered hyderabadi biryani and it tasted pathetic.It tasted as if it was 2-3 days old dish also there were no flavours in it.Veggies used in preparation were also not fresh.I would never order biryani from here

A good decent place to dine in. More of a family restaurant. The prices are on a higher side as compared to the taste. I had ordered kaju curry and sev tomato. Pieces of kaju were pretty less and sev tomato sabji was also not really up to the mark. Crispy corn was good but the price of the starter is much more than the main course. :) Service was good though without any doubt. Nice polite staff.

I received the soup that was tasting bad (spoilt vegetables) and way too oily. When I contact the restaurant they asked to contact Zomato to escalate the issue so that someone could pick up the order and that they then send me another soup. When I contacted Zomato support I didn't receive any reply from there about the issue that I stated and even waited to hear from either of them but I didn't eventually. A really bad Customer service from both the parties.

The taste and quality of food is quite nice. The service staff is polite, and friendly.<br/>It's relatively small and cosy place, with nice ambience.<br/>Now, though I liked main course dishes, the tomato soup was average. And so was the Paneer starter we ordered. So I suggest stick to main course dishes.<br/>The restaurant has limited parking, and seating capacity.

This is a dish we had was a complete waste. We order Paneer Sizzler and the restaurant manager told that it will paneer as topping but the end product was complete waste. The Crispy Corn was quite good and better than other places. Perfect proportion of spices added to it.<br/>Paneer Lazeez and Paneer Kolhapuri were quite decent. However Kolhapuri should have been on more spicy side as per the name.<br/><br/>Service was fast. Prices decent. Will surely visit again to try other items on the menu.

I have never been to this restaurent but se use to call food parcels from Alav in our office. The food is too heavy and oily. Though the taste is ok but too much oily.

Perfect place for veg food.. awesome thing is there is always waiting for atleast 15-20 mins, still the service is worth the class. Coming on to food, we tried Chinese starters and north Indian main course which was perfectly cooked and surely worth the money. There is always rush during holidays so it’s a bit noisy inside. Just an average place as compared to other dining restaurants in Indore, first of all very noisy place as it is situated on main road so all the times you get to hear horns of vehicles, inner area is big but due to not so effective table arrangement it looks so congested. Food is just OK, so it is a bit costly if i take with respect to its ambiance, atmosphere, services, taste and presentation. can go here for a try still so many Good places in Indore if you want a gud time.

Excellent food, decent ambience and quick service is how I would describe this restaurant. Perfect for Indian main course at reasonable prices. I more often than not end up here for good food :-)

Location is great, food is delicious, and has an all time favourite appeal to it. Though it has all the daily available north indian meals, its quality and taSte n its sumptuous quantity are attractions enough! <br/>Last experience of kadhai paneer was a little too spicy for normal customer taste, a thing that can be improved.!

One of the best meal i have had in a long time. We had the paneer tikka as starter. Some kofta and diwani handi. Dal tadka and jeera rice. Everything was fabulous. I look forward to visiting again soon.

It's a very nice place to dinning out with family.I went there 2 years back on my birthday. We were not able to decide where to go then saw this place on zomato with good reviews so thought let's take a chance. That gamble turned out successful. It was a weekend so reserved table on table. They offered a complimentary cake.We ordered starters then main course, everything was delicious. About ambience decent lighting with great wall art and a light music as a cherry on ice cream.<br/>Price was within correct range.<br/>Overall a very good place to have dinner in indore

At 3 PM, we found dis amazing place to hav late lunch with family.<br/>Starting wid a refreshing Chaas, follwed by Hara bhara Veggie and razala koftey... Do dis wid n assorted bread Basket nd a dash of pineapple curd!!!!<br/>Simply delicious.<br/>That soft, smooth bread basket was winner of all!!!<br/>We were so full, dat we had to skip dessert all together!!!<br/>Add to this a very Humble host, courteous staff!!<br/>U jus can't miss.. If I ever visit this city, will def. Make tym for dis place.

This place open couple of years but it's capture hole crowd. It's a best place for vegetarians no one can bit these place. There specialist snacks main cours all stuff are best. Paneer jayeka, garlic tandoori roti, kesar mocktail delicious food beautiful ambiance and fast n good service. Definitely suggest to go this place and we are off course go again and again. Visited this place couple of days back with my team. Nice ambience, food quality is good. We had soups, starters and than main course. Service is also very good and matches the standard of other class restaurants of Indore.

The place opened a couple of years ago and quickly built-up good reputation in people's hearts. Visited there couple of times for lunch/dinner.<br/><br/>The Indoors*<br/>Really liked the indoor area of restaurant, a very rich and elite ambience with good amount of natural light during day hours.<br/><br/>The Food*<br/>Paneer dishes are all awesome, roti/naan/parathas and rice dishes are all good. Dal Lehsuni is a must try!<br/><br/>Service*<br/>Service time - Not to good, not to bad. Staff is courteous and polite.

I don't know why this place is so over hyped. Yeah sure it is a decent place to dine in but why so much of chaos and hurry. Everybody demands good speedy service but that doesnt means you should not let your customer finish the course he is eating at the moment. <br/>They Were in so much hurry that they didn't even let us finish our starters and served the entire main course along with it. <br/>Yeah I can understand that you are very famous restaurant at this particular place but seriously let your customers enjoy their meal at least. <br/>And if you are doing this speedy stuff just to vacate your place for acquiring more customers, then you should plan for an expansion. <br/>How pathetic!<br/>Food quality pretty average, nothing very amusing.

I am a Connoisseur.. & Alav... is The place for vegetarianism love of Connoisseur. Yes this place is pocket friendly as well as having great taste for veggie lovers. Mostly I went there with group of 5 or more, enjoyed variety of Indian Chinese starters and sizzler ;) recently visit with my wife.She just loved the taste of cream of tomato soap there. Also we've tried crunchy Manchurian, crispy corn black pepper followed by Butter Khichadi (actually by which we judge the quality of taste and quantity of food) It was descent enough to full your tummy. As suggested by Zomato, price for two goes around 500/-. Since 500 and 1000 notes are discontinued, we opted for card payment. Waited for few mins than joined the queue at cash counter. One thing should be noted here, If you go after 8PM on weekends, you will find long queue in waiting outside here.

Affordable.

An easy 4 out of 5 . The place is always buzzin with people its likely you have to wait a bit before given a seat . The average prep time here for the meal is around 22 minutes but its all worth it . The prices here are good enough and quantity is appropriate too . A nice place for dinner with family and friends . The ambience is nicely done plus the staff is welcoming . Do try the place if you could u wont be dissapointed 😊👌

There are not many good choices and places for a vegetarian. But I would say Alav can be added to your list if you want some good vegetarian food.

Only problem with this restaurant is that they do not accept CARDS.<br/>Guys move on...<br/>Enough of tax saving... ;-)😂<br/>Food quality is good by the way
