Review Indian Coffee House - Indore

Saju George
This is a busy restaurant. They have a large variety of dishes. The service is slow. The atmosphere is okay. The cleanliness could be better. There were crumbs beneath our table and it seems no one was there to clean. I noticed that the caps of some of the waiters were soiled. Food wise I think the best dish we ordered was veg cutlet. It takes you back to the railway style cutlet which is famous in South Indian railway journeys. The rava dosa was crisp and the masala in it was okay. The sambar has a rustic taste to it. The chutney is okish. We also ordered coffee and special cold coffee. Both were good. The special uttapam was not so special. It needed a hint of salt. The vada sambar was good. This place is worth trying once. Even if it’s for their cutlets. Cost wise it’s ok. Not too pricey for all we had we paid 600 which was good enough for two people.

I have been to most of the Indian coffee house chains, the food taste is almost same since childhood days. I do believe many viewers won't agree with me but there is something naustalgic about the entire experience. It reminds me of amazing meals i have spend with my family there.
Naimish Patidar
Very nice ambience with tasty and affordable food. South India lovers will definately enjoy. Don't forget to have a Sip of coffee after your food. Cheers..
Ritika Singh Chauhan
Taste are too good... I personally liked it and it is affordable too 2 big idli with sambhar is just for 55rs can you imagine omg.... I loved it and also the Vanilla icecream is just awesome... Do not waste your money on cheese sandwich grilled one just waste of money... The main course or the proper lunch or dinner is costly but other wise no compromise on taste as well as the price is also very cheap for all south Indian dishes... Must try

We are regular visitor of this brand ICH since our childhood. They never disappoint us. A great budget friendly place with variety of options of North Indian and South Indian food. No to miss their filter coffee.
Varun Mathur
Iconic branch of Indian coffe house ,servicing south indian (majorly) and north Indian snacks. The staff here is extension of their of oldest Indore branch of Kotbari market. Must try - veg cutlet, masala dosa,idli/vada sambhar. Deserts - Fruit Custard, Tutti Frutti icecream ( not the normal one) They do serve Chicken and Mutton options, Biryani's as well.
Sumeet Girdhani
Absolutely delicious food. I visited only to eat some of the most admired food I have eaten at ICH. Their Masala Dosa, Vegetable Cutlet & Filter coffee has no match, On top of their awesome customer service. Food is always fresh & delicious. Will definitely be visiting again to enjoy their delicious food.

Nice place..i love and most of the time have chicken biryani here...all the items are also good...
Hritik Shrivas
Their food taste is very good. Service is little poor however I love to visit this place often.
preeti chandrayan
My recommendations for this branch - masala dosa, rawa dosa, biryani ( not Kerala biryani, the normal one), chiken 65, noodles These are the few things which I found the best....

Good taste, economic place. Service is a bit slow, taste can be improved a bit. Rest everything is decent. If you want to experience something more of 90's ambience, visit this place, you wont regret.
Raju Krishnan
Nostalgic experience of visiting the India coffee house. Nothing extraordinary in terms of decor, but impeccably dressed and very friendly staff who make you feel like a VIP. Decent food and fast service.
Mohit Chourasia
Best ICH in Indore food is nice service is fast. We had Chai, dosa upma, bread omelet, idli sambar everything is nice.
Kamlesh Khollam
Menu looked good. Did not get chance to order a food. Had only Filter Coffee n Chai. Was very good 👍
Kapil Adwani
Amazing south & north Indian food, very good service , well behaved and decent staff. Economical place to eat with family. I love the way staff dresses in white with service hats.. I would like to recommend the place for simple yet delicious food. Thank you ✌️
Sapna Singh
Mysore masala dosa is just awesome. You can even ask for extra sambhar and chutney . Chowmein tastes super yummy.
Ayyush Agarwal
The ambience is ohkay but the food is mind blowing it is just delicious to another level if u go there you must try dosa
And if you are a non vegetarian you must try chicken soup as it was really really good
And chicken biryani was the best biryani I had in indore since the time I moved here the biryani was really delicious it is a must try
And apart from the food the staff is very decent too and the food want put a weight on your pocket ...
Overall it is a must go to place
Megharima Datta
Childhood memories and Indian coffee house. Earlier used to go in Kolkata coffee house and now Indore coffee house. Everything same. Well behaved staff. Food tastes good. Biriyani over there wowwwww !! Wonderful. Thanks Indian coffee house.
Madhur Jodhani
Pocket friendly place and have same taste at all outlets its a chain from jabalpur but allover a good experience u can visit it anywhere in city.
Aakash Chakravarty
Worst customer service didn't even apologise after late delivery. Feeling too insulted as restaurant won't even care about reviews it is just for the sake of other people who want timely food with good service please don't go to this place as I have been eating in coffee house RNT marg since 24 years now.
Debnathmukherjee92
Excellent!! Finally a Biryani in Indore worth it!! Would recommend this place for a lot of other varieties... Though I have left Indore but I remember this place!!
Chefiature
The place wasn't as I expected it to be. I have had better south indian food, and surely felt a better ambiance, literally everywhere except here. It's stingy and cramped, and the service was so late. A bowl of idli sambhar and a dosa took them ages. The place was crowded sure, however I would not want to be the crowd again. To be fair, the food was decently priced and good tasting, but I prefer a proper experience.
Food - 2.5/5
Ambience - 1/5
Service -1.5/5

Another restaurant in vijay nagar location .
We went for dinner it was good but they need to work on timing because its take very long time to food come on the table rest everything was good .
Nidhin Thomas
the first day of indore I went to get some good South taste from well known ICH. but I couldn't find that from Thali honestly.
second time everything was perfect but the sambar was more watery and tasteless.
third time I got the sambar well. basically I tried to get their best. first I given a point of 1 then lead me to give 2. but third time at least the food was good except the tea.
service is good. need some smiley faces which is missing in your outlet
Rahulchakravorty48
Well ICH or Indian Coffee House it has been the place where i always satisfy my urge for south indian food. But as per my today's visit too ich all thing's got shattered out as i ordered the egg dosa and vada sambhar but i missed the crispness of dosa and tanginess of sambhar was missing. No offence but as per my view again you guy's have to work with the taste.
Chirag Choudhary
I visit this place frequently , with time the quality of filter coffee has degraded , once they served us coffee which wasn't even hot. Coming to the food all the south Indian preparations are good dosa , idli and vada and people will find sambar different from rest of the places but no complaints food is fresh. They used to serve great chole bhature but nowadays the bhaturas they serve doesn't taste good they don't give time for the dough to set so it ruins the taste. Soups are delicious , i recommend non veg hot and sour soup and tomato soup both are great in taste . Overall a pocket friendly place.
Adarsh S Nair
Best place in Indore to have South Indian food. They are polite and I always eat south India food from this hotel. Should be better if they start service of Zomato as well
Aakash Singh
ICH is simply one of my personal favourites. If you want subtle food with low spices and amazing flavours ICH would be your call.
Cheese Dosa and chicken biryani. Oh! And their chhole bhature is pure love ❣️
Khushboo Patel
If you are a South Indian food lover then it is a must visit place for youu....Being a South Indian food lover I always visit in this restaurant....Its like my second home😀Each n every dishes is yumm...Must try chilli paneer dosa and chicken biryani 🍗🍗
Saurabh Acharya Roy

Shyam Pareek
This is a great restaurant for south indian food. The staff is very helpful and nice. The owner of the restaurant personally attended to us. It is a good restaurant if you are looking for Indian Vegetarian food in Vijay Nagar. Good specially for vegetarian. The dosa, idli and vadas are as good as you would get in Indore. Dont compare the food with the taste of south indian food in south. You will be disappointed - its just an average Indian restaurant.
Anup Kumar
Had been here. Serve tasteless food at high cost. The behavior of the Manager at counter is very stupid. I had biryani but it was not cooked well and was taste like boiled. I'll suggest you better go to other restaurant, if you don't want to waste your money and time.
Sanskriti Pahadiya
Yum food always. Real southindian taste.
Dosa are crunchy and delicious. Idlies are soft and fresh. The sambhar is something which enhances the taste of every south indian dish
Nishunk Saxena
Great place for South Indian food, I like sandwich, Dosa idli upma and everything here because it is very cheap.
I think this is the most value for money Cafe cum restaurant in INDORE.
I been here only once because I regularly order South Indian food from malhar mall and this doesn't comes close to that maybe because it's a reasonable Cafe with satisfactory food.
Anshul Porwal
Taste and menu is amazing. Be it main course or South Indian snacks. Dosa, uttapam, biryani, paneer dishes all of them are good. Been to this place many a times. Good option to go to. Economic place though.
Saikat
Had biriyani with 2 of my friend. Friendly staffs. But disappointed to say that biriyani was not upto mark. It was more of like chicken gravy mixed with rice...
Definitely not place for biriyani. Also their menu had mutton but they served only on weekends...
Neha
A decent place to relish on some authentic south indian menu! Veg cutlet, Thali, Masala Dosa, Rawa Masala Dosa all tasted good and fresh! Idli and Vada was super hot and fresh and equally yum!! Go for a good breakfast or a subtle lunch or dinner with family, place is good with a consistent taste!
ViNi Dawre
Good place
Situated in main loaction
Also have parking facility
Foods are delicious specially south Indian dishes
Well dressed staff
There is uniformity in taste in all its branches
Ruchir Maheshwari
Really nice place. I would say price for 2 will be around 300 rs. Had one of the best paneer chilly. Masala dosa is too good to be missed. Best place to eat South Indian food.
Food Lover
Is very good and close to house which is very Convenient to reach out any time it’s best part is this place opens really early so people can have there good breakfast to start there day wd smile that’s the best part
Anurag Tiwari
It is one of my regular go to place.
A simple but a bit crowded place.
Would recommend for the simple taste.
PS: Service is bit slow. But that's how ICH works I guess. ;)
Raj Solanki
The oldest coffee house house in our area excellent for an affordable and delicious coffee plus south Indian platters are too good uttapam and idli are must eat
Willington Gnana
Excellent place for south Indians. Its in BCM heights building which have a spacious parking.

Specialities are almost all south Indian like Dosa Idli Vada Uttappam etc

They had their lunch menu too. Tasted almost all the items like tomoto rice to lemon rice. Chicken cooked here is with curry leaves.

Being a use to custmer the service is really very good
Bighnesh Upadhyaya
The chewing gum toast was so brilliant that I got a teeth and jaw exercise early morning. I ordered the toast to be packed but when I opened the package it was bread and butter and jam( I had ordered both) just sort of sautéed over the pan, not toast. The coffee, admittedly was good.. .
Arpit Dammani
An average and decently priced place offering good taste of food, try tomato Onion uttapam and filter coffee without sugar for experiencing some out of box experience
Midhun Nair
Nice place to go with family. Little crowded and have to wait a bit. In weekend you have to wait for getting a table.
One of the best South Indian food in city. Taste is superb and also the quantity is good.
Service is good and the staff is well dressed and nice.
Must visit place.
Thumbs up 👍
Veidehi Gite
Even though Indian Coffee House, is mostly crowded, I found the quality of food to have declined from what it used to be originally. Recently, I had ordered Chole Bhatura (oily but delicious) and (not so tender) dry Chicken Chilly. Even though I received both the dishes in generous proportions, I am not too happy with the overall taste and quality.
Anshul Agrawal
Great food, lovely prices. They have a wide selection and are always open early. Love that. Service is good too. Gets crowded on weekend nights.
Vaibhav Shrivastava
Masala Dosa, Veg Cutlet and French toast are my all time favourites from ICH. Here staffs are always well groomed and dressed, all from southern part of india, you will enjoy talking to them.
Hannah
This restaurant is good for (and famous for) south-indian cuisine but a lot of improvement is needed when it comes to the hygiene and ambience. The food surely is pocket-friendly.
Hemant Wankhede
Great place to have good south Indian food at good price. Have been visiting this restaurant regularly for more than 4 years now. My favorite Masala Dosa :):)
Aekagra
Ordered Masala Dosa & Idli Sambhar and except the Dosa, rest all sucks...sambhar was distasteful and Idli was inedible. Sitting arrangement is also very congested. Giving 1.5 because of masala & crispiness of Dosa. Will not recommend this place for eating South Indian cuisine.
Anuj Mittal
It's a ok ok place . i had their aloo pyaaz parantha which was good . my friend had nescafe coffee which he told me that it was the worst coffee he had .they also add gst on the bill which was totally inappropriate because inspite of ac restaurant their ac wasn't working.
Jenny Irani
Yummy food . Love everything . Very tasty 😋😋 low price worth the money . Quick service. Love it's lot a lovely place for lunch or dinner 😍😋😋

Good food good service, clean environment though not that catchy ambience but still it's a good place to visit atleast once along with your friends or family....👍👍
Neelam Rana
We went there becoz we were hungry and no restaurant was open
We order south Indian as this was their speciality but than we don't like that much the sambhaar was kuch toh bhi in taste
Bad experience
Devam Baderiya
Good place for south indian n other foods options are also good here. The best part here is the special icecream they serve here. That is truti fruti, it's just the best thing out there. Very warm atmosphere there. I would just recommend that if u go to any of the ICH across the india just eat this desert.
Anurag Tripathi
Indian Coffee House has a good reputation, especially for South Indian meals. I happen to stumble upon the place on a wonderful Friday evening with friends. Ordered couple of Dosas and Rice meals. Service was quick and taste was all worth the money spent.

Ambience would take you to a cafe in historical times of India - Royal and Elegant.

This place is one of my favorites.

Affordable, friendly staff, great taste and ample parking space.

Their dosas are great and must try. The chicken curry and rice is delectable.

One can even drop by for butter toast and coffee. You will surely enjoy it.

While doing my college studies in Southern India, I developed a particular south Indian food taste that I could not found anywhere else after completing my college studies. Since, south Indian food is one of my most favorites, cannot accept any negotiations in its taste authenticity. I have been a regular visitor to ICH Vijay Nagar from last 6 years and it has never disappointed me with the authenticity of south Indian food taste and quality. So I would recommend this place to anyone who knows the actual taste of south Indian dishes and craving to have some. However , I would not recommend anything else apart from south Indian dishes here as you won't be able to get desired taste.
Aurobindo
Best place for breakfast. This place has kept the tradition running perfect with the brand name.
Awesome south indian breakfast, the service is good. A small dinner for limited people, go relax , eat your masala dhosa (my favourite) , have a cup of coffee !!!
Cheery on the top would be very nominally priced.
John Varghese
A perfect place for quality food at affordable rate. All time suitability with variety of food specified for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I personally love the South Indian delicacies and my favourite 'FRENCH TOAST'. Guys do have this once you come over here. It's light, delicious and warm.

Like Dosa and Puri bhaji? Give this place a visit.
Perfect breakfast junction.

Must haves: All kinds of dosas (especially masala dosa and mysore masala)
Puri bhaji (the tastiest puri bhaji I've ever had)
Coffee (traditional and great)

Can avoid: Chinese items (not that great)

Service 4/5, Ambience 3.5/5, the bhavarkua branch is also good. Pocket-friendly.
Rishabh Mathur
This place was quiet astonishing to me..I have been to Indian coffee house in delhi, Chandigarh and Shimla but this was really different.. It had a well maintained ambience and good sitting... The food menu had north Indian and Chinese cuisine as well.. The service was the same and the uniform was the same.. The rates were also different from the standard coffee houses... The food taste was good.. Do try the large variety of dosas they have... Also try cheese dosa... Coffee is the must to try.. They have that really good filter coffee to end your dinner with...quiet economical to the pocket as well
Rumshaa Cheyanne
Running out of time and want to treat your tastebuds with good South Indian food dosa and idli this is the right cheap with good sitting average ambiance located in Bcm heights surrounded by various cafes . It's on ground floor . Even can try Mughlai chicken ! Cold coffee worth trying . Students place !!
Manikandan Rajakannan
Awesome authentic south indian restaurant...no one can serve dosas like indian coffee house..their chicken briyani a must try...pocket friendly yet the best food in indore
Prashant D
Best place for breakfast. Also one of the pocket friendly joints for Dinner/South Induan Food. Good food and all South Indian Dishes are Great in taste. Ambience is more like a Lunch Home but still deserves a visit.

The place starts around 7:30 /8 AM in morning and runs till 11 PM in Night.

Avg. Payout for 2 persons dinner is around 350/400 .

If you are looking for a breakfast joint, this is one of the best places to check out.
Bhumi Chauhan
I like the idli samber over here. That's like the best part and apart from that they serve decent food with good quality. Not much fancy a place but a good place for meals. Like the coffee too but not really the actual filter coffee taste.
Gastr♡nomoS
ICH= go to place when the wallet is lean 😑💸 (and otherwise as well 😊)
Never disappoints😏.
Favourites: south Indian dahi vada, chilli paneer dosa, veg cutlets and bread pakodas.
K.s.shibani Shankar Ray
It's a pocket friendly restaurant to dine at. Dormitory set up for siting. Food is good especially South Indian food can be found with authentic taste. Chicken bharta is the preparation I liked the most. You can sit and spend a good time over a cup of quality coffee
Poorvi Deshpande
I have come here a millions of times and this place never ceases to fill me with satisfaction. Apart from the awesome south indian food, you can also try their chinese servings.. The favorites of mine here are veg cutlets, noodles, vada sambhar, omlette's pretty good too. And the tooti frooti icecream. You can also go for a vanilla milk shake to finish your meal in the day. At night, a cup of filter coffee is undoubtedly the choice.
Nitesh Vaidya
This is a place where I can visit anyday and anytime. One of the most peaceful and calm place with great food. Along with the taste this place is very pocket friendly. Being at a place where you would expect a restaurant to have high prices you would be surprised to see the menu.
Debashis Sharma
This is a chain outlet of south Indian breakfast cuisine and coffee. Had visited their counterparts in Bhopal and this place was equally good. There is no ambience as such to talk about. Food was tasty and prices are rock bottom. Getting table on peak hours in Saturday was difficult. However once inside the service was always good. Have rated keeping in mind the prices and the value for money proposition not anything else. More usefull for regular dinner than any special occasion.
Amit Khombhadia
This is a chain of South Indian restaurant run by the coffee co op seen more prominently in central India . Sen it mostly across MP and Nagpur . It should have been good before the gastronomy revolution witnessed in the cities . Filter coffee is OK. South Indian is Avg chutney cold at times but reliable food if u r in an unknown city According to a few friends this was the hangout place till the cafes and malls took over.
Gourmet Cavin
I had chicken briyani and chilli chicken here. Both are tasty. One best thing about this outlet is the quantity they provide. You must not miss the coffee here after your meal.
Tejasswi Juneja
A good place to eat south indian food. The idli is very soft and fluffy. The dosas are average as they are very dry and flaky. Never eat the mysore masala dosa as it has some weird filling in it. If you want to eat something other than the south indian dishes, try the vegetable biryani. That is nice 😊
Pavan Tamiri
Good Filter Coffee as name suggests. We had everything of South Indian in the menu. Food is good and ambience is quite normal. The South Indians Indore can go here without much hesitation.
Badarinadh Kallakuri
Went here for breakfast today. Had sambar idly, upma, onion dosa. Sambar is not up to mark. Best one is onion dosa. Onions fried separately with masala & put in to dosa. Cleanliness needs to be improved.
Avil Porwal
This place doesnt need a review. They have maintained their quality, service, taste and legacy with all their outlets. Very economical and not so luxurious food outlets.
Ar Shivam Kashyap
The Indian coffee house is a wide spread chain in India and accommodates great south indian aliment and coffee.

The quality and taste here is no less and the experience is great. Great place to spend an indolent afternoon out with friends or family for some great coffee and excellent south indian victuals.
Vidit Shah
Can say this place in any city is awesome. Great taste and the same taste is maintained all over. Love their dress and the hat wore by them. Nice place to visit.
Shriram Badrinath
Coming from a south Indian background and having to live in a hostel in indore that serves mainly north indian food with occasional "south Indian food" which can be called south Indian only for its appearance had left me aching for the taste of sambhar. ICH is the first south Indian restaurant i tried and if not great it surely was good. I did get the traditional sambhar I wanted and I was satisfied. The filter coffee was not good also the ambiance wasn't what I expected and kind of a let down. The place looked tightly packed but the service was great.
Poorvaa...
Sunday evening.. Was really very hungry, decided to have have south indian food... This is the best place in the town for it... I usually come here late after 1030pm.. Even at that time the staff was really active and were ready to serve happily... Ambience is ok.. Price is above average according to me, specially when u cosider it comparing with some other restaurents serving good and quality south indian dishes. South Indian Food is excellent in taste .. they will happily provide extra sambar and chutney... If u come here make sure you order south indian food only cuz this is their speciality... Taste of other punjabi, chinese etc food items can be improved... 10/10 for south indian food but 6/10 for anything else... I highly recommend filter coffee after the dinner... Last sunday i was the only one left in the restaurent till 11.23pm they showed no signs of hurry even when it was well over their closing time... So coperative .. Highly recommend this for south indian food...
Prasad
In whichever city I go, I always look for ICH. ICH is reliable brand. But this ICH at Vijaynagar, Indore delighted me. I have been at ICH in various cities but this has one of best interiors and location. The service is smooth, maybe because of I went in happy hours. Food quality is undisputed. You will feel the acidity of a coffee on the sides and tip of your tongue after having a sip. It could be rendezvous for your gang.
Muppa Naresh
It's good, but not up to expectations, main course are not that good, quality is good but not as taste as south Indian food.hygienic is good, serving is good
DDDD
Great food and don't mind the ambience which was not meant to be
Great fresh and affordable food
Good quantity and well made
Full house every weekend
Great hangout for food lovers
Apoorwa Jain
If you are running short of time and want to have pocket friendly stomach filling food than this is the place to be. Famous for its south indian and hot coffee its a place which has maintained its quality of food and taste in all its branches.

Tried its masala dosa and idli and chole bhature which was really good but aloo paratha was not up to rhe mark.
Ashish Menon
Indian coffee house as a chain was something new to me especially not being a localite.. However this is the most visited place throughout my stay at Indore..

Service: Service is very good, orders are taken with a smiling face, quick deliverance of the order..

Ambience: Simole, nothing much to talk about.. Neat and clean is all i can say..

Food: Good food at nominal pricing specially for working professionals and also some good authentic south Indian taste..

Recommended..!!!
Som Ghosh
Been there
I liked the most was the staff
Well behaved and quick
Ordered egg curry and it was tasty
Food taste is good and price is also reasonable
Recommended to visit there
Shubha Suryavanshi
Best place! My mommy love this place and m best friend take me to ICH every time he wants to eat Upma that dish is just amazing.
Mitesh Jain
This has always been my favorite place for breakfast! Vegetable cutlet can not be more tasty elsewhere...chai n butter toast will surely quick start your day. Limited servents but super fast service!! Excellent food options and superb taste! Ambience is not classy, interiors pretty ordinary but quality n taste over shadows everything. I highly recommend this place for vegetable cutlets!!
Pinkal Joshi
When no place in mind, only this place clicks for food..lot to choose from..omlete to dosa ...try out cheese omlete. Its yummy..end ur visit with filter coffee...
Anupam Jain
Superb ICH.
Everything is up to the mark.
Service,Staff,Ambience and taste all good.
Reasonable as,as the all ICH is.
Super located.
Love to be there.
Highly recommended ।।
Rohit Kale
The best place to enjoy if you want a nice morning heavy breakfast, serves best south indian food and other snacks, located at a good location near High court.
Susan Rebello
Yipees this my favorite place , whenever u carry less amount of money n u feel damn hungry this place will fill your stomach in less budget samabar the best ? n dosas are very tasty
Siddhant Chopra
ICH... the fast food is good ....delicious but this time we thought to try main course at this restro... we ordered some stuff...
The food was so bad... that we wasted our money here...
The malai kofta was so bad... paneer was not good.. n I dont know why the rates r veryy high.... its overrated
Veryy bad experience :(
Sameer Sharma
Economical place. Hygiene is a big concern here in ICH you will be able to spot stains on their plates and glasses also staff is bit unprofessional. Food quality is moderate but quantity is good.
Dr. Shaleen Jindal
Although the ambience is ok. But the staff and its promptness is amazing. The food..specially south indian has maintained its authenticity. The french omellete is the best i've ever had. I didnt have a chance to try any dessert but I am sure it is worth.

PS: An amazing restaurant with equally amazing taste to visit specially if you have a tight budget. That is, it's very economic. Keep up the work guys.
Devansh
This place looks like some old, broken down place from the outside, but it has a distinct south Indian charm when you walk in.
Although it's famous for its South Indian cuisine, I'm here to tell you that practically EVERYTHING on the menu is DELICIOUS.
Some of my all time favorites are chilly chicken (Yes, CHICKEN!), chicken fried rice, noodle dosa, chhole bhature, chicken sandwich, and coffee. Oh lord, THAT COFFEE!
And don't even get me started on the French toast. It has got to be the best French toast I've ever had! It's amazing, it's delicious, it's like multiple orgasms in your mouth!

The prices are extremely decent, and the portions are huge. It's not at all heavy on the pocket. You could have an entire meal and walk away with spending just a couple of hundred rupees at best.
The staff are extremely friendly.
I make it a point to come here at least once a week. Makes an awesome place to have breakfast.
Also, I'd recommend this place to anyone who's on a tight budget and is craving a fulfilling meal. This is the place to go!
Chitransh Nagwanshi
The food quality is good but The service provided by the waiters is not good and appreciable. You'll have to wait a long long time for their response and attention. Also the coordination is not good. Bad experience in this outlet of Indian Coffee House.
Harshal Garge
Awesome food .. At a very economic price ..i really like the egg fried rice here.. Plus the seeving time is also very less. A must recommend to everyone
Wasim Khan
Found quality of food ? not consistent.
Ordered uttappam (coconut) and found pieces of coconut (hard part) in the dish.
I have been here lot of times and found overall food fine.
Aman- "The Foodzilla"
This is by far the best ICH, I have been in Indore. Although,I am not very much impressed with the authenticity of food, still this place is far better from other outlets. Situated in the basement area of BCM heights, with all other fancy names in the surrounding this place still holds its customers. The reason for which are many, basic price, highly diverse menu, clean and hygienic food preparation and to top everything, goodwill of the ICH chain amongst people. The ambience is that of a classic joint, hence nothing fancy about it. The only problem is that the tables here are very small, a table for 4 cannot accommodate four people anyhow. The waiters were very attentive and did not required any stationery to take the order for 8 people, must say huge brains under those unique turbans.
As mentioned we were 8 people, back from a highway trip, and at 11.00am, this was the only place to satiate our hungry souls and hungover mind. Our order included variety of stuff, masala dosa, cheese masala dosa, rawa dosa, mysore dosa, cheese sandwhich, veg biryani, chole bhatoore, onion utthapam, idlis and numerous repetition of sambar and chutney. Out of everything the best dishes were surprisingly chola bhatura and veg biryani, both were unexpectedly good, spicy chola with dry and fluffy bhaturas, superb.
Now the south Indian dishes, masala dosa was just fine, just the masala could have been seasoned more, with cheese it was a complete miss, bad choice. The worst part was the mysore dosa, I've always loved this one, but here the base red chutney inside it was tasteless, and so was the masala with huge chunks of unevenly cut onion and capsicum. Who puts capsicum in dosa!! And they did not even gave the tamarind chutney with Mysore dosa, even on requesting. The sambhar was tangy, spicy and served piping hot, bang on, so was the thick coconut chutney.
Overall, the meal was good and came as a savior of the hour when no other place had anything solid to offer.
Just need some improvement on the most important dosa part , call some guys from any of the Jabalpur outlet!!
In conclusion, My search for a perfect crisp masala dosa in Indore is still not complete.

One u have ICH and the other SANKALP at the same location, both famous for South Indian dishes but drastically different when it comes to taste.
ICH is far far better than Sankalp. Be it taste or service.
ICH delivered the stuff well before the expected time which included Idli Sambhar and Masala Dosa.
Size was huge. We two were packed till neck with that.
However, they do lack varieties of chutney with dishes. Just a single coconut chutney.
Also, they do have a scope of improving their Sambhar preparation.
Rest all goes well with this place.
Nothing happ. All basic.
Do visit for that little craving. :)

Love the variety and the price. Hope they maintain the price and quality. I would love to visit their kitchen once to check on their hygiene which I am sure must be good...Overall a satisfactory experience every time you visit.

Great food .
Almost all cuisines at reasonable price.

French Toast - probably the only restaurant in Indore to serve you this amazing dish and trust me eggeterians , its YUMMY.

The Indian Coffee House, like many others around the country, serves some of the best coffee and south Indian dishes.

Despite not being a huge south Indian food fan, the one thing I always love having here are the dosas. The masala dosas with some good coffee make the visit here worth it.

The price is very affordable and doesn't hurt your pocket.

Cleanliness and service are among the best in town.

Great place for all coffee and south Indian food lovers.

I think there is no need to right anything about ICH.
