Review New Ravi Alpahar - Indore

Ravi Alpahar is small hotel/cafe.... It's very popular in indore.. one of my friend suggest this place for morning breakfast. Don't expect some fancy place where you can seat and chill This is just for the food lover. The poha is very delicious. You must try the kachori from here. At morning time it's very crowded. Its very pocket friendly.. . . . . . . ... One suggestions: then need to maintain some hygiene as well. There is no parking space

One of the oldest shops in Indore serving kachoris, specifically aloo ki kachoris and fariyali kachoris. Location is perfect in terms of market place, but parking here is a big big problem specifically during business hours. Quality and taste of kachori is no doubt one of the best in town. Staff is well behaving and cooperative. Rates moderates.

Genuine 5 stars for everything they serve in their outlet. Their speciality is Aloo Kachori. Also poha and jalebi are very tasty. They start by 7.30 in the morning and serve breakfast till 3 in the afternoon. A must visit place for everyone.

One of the best Aaloo kachoris in Indore ! They have Pohe, Jalebi, Khaman as well. The Aaloo Kachori is served with green chutney, tamarind chutney and a dash of grated onions over it. Pohe is also good. Khaman was fresh when we had. It was soft and at the same time delicious as well.

Decent place for early morning breakfast, we visited around 7 in the morning and had poha, their aloo kachori and jalebi and they all were pretty good. Might visit again.

It's one of the best & oldest places to have Poha & Jalebi in Indore. ❤️🍛👍 They also serve kachori with aaloo stuffing. Poha is amazing, it's a must try and will cost INR 20. Jalebi is mouth watering and costs INR 20 for 50 gms, but Aaloo Kachori is good and will set you back by INR 20.

Ravi alpahar, the iconic pohe in indore. They have two stores one in the city and the other in Anand Bazar. Sunday crowd is a lottt. Try avoid going on Sundays. Must try jalebi, kachori and pohe. I tried their khaman which is also great.

A good place to eat. They have limited number of items but all are tasty and fresh. The tea just in front of the shop is also worth try.

Be frankly but the taste was not as per the expectations. I had heard lot about aalo & fariyali kachori so I was really excited about taste. But unfortunately the taste is not as the shop name is famous. I think cost is also high compared to other good ones.

Simplicity and integrity of taste, year after year till it becomes a landmark, that's what Ravi Alpahar has done at that famous little shop at the corner of Anand Bazaar. Mouth-watering aloo kachoris and the light-hearted poha makes for the perfect breakfast for people who visit from far and wide. Remember to smile at the owner in the morning and you'll always get a warm smile back. For me, that's when you've won a customer, taste then becomes incidental. Don't forget that the aloo kachoris run out pretty early because of the demand!

We were on our food trip to indore, so we googled for some good places to eat some kachori in indore, so we found this place while roaming around the city, this small shop serves some amazing snacks like poha, khandvi & special aloo kachori...we had aloo kachori there...they serve it with two type of chutney (tamarind & green chutney) with chopped onions...it tastes so good..a must visit place for some delicious aloo kachori...worth to give a try

It is a small place, but the Aloo Kachori is daam awesome. Its my every sunday breakfast. Poha is also great. I order it through Uber Eats as they give a better deal. Must Try.

Was here for breakfast. A very small place, was jam packed and definitely so. The poha was one of the best I’ve ever had. They were not the yellow ones ive had before but a different kind. The kachori was average. Tried the mango shrikhand that they had and it was one of the best mango desserts ive ever had.

I have had aloo kachori which tasted really good and wasn't too spicy. A real nice kachori for foodies.But the only limitation is of timmings.

My Worst Experience Ever:<br/><br/>I am a elderly man of 54 yrs. I am a regular and loyal customer of Ravi Alpahar since last 10 yrs. Today I along with my son visited New Ravi Alpahar situated at Anand Bazaar. My son was having his class for the preparation competitive examinations at New Palasia Indore, which was about to start and I after obtaining the token very politely asked the owner standing on the counter to pls give me my meal a bit faster, There was only one customer standing in que, The Owner very arrongantly and arbitrarily told that “You have to wait, as this man is also <br/>waiting since half-an-hour, or else get your money back”.. I was having no option but to tolerate this but,<br/>I as a customer felt very insulted and ignorant..<br/>Such Mis-behaviour is largely detrimental for such a famous and established place and a matter of great concern for Zomato even as they are having their tie-ups from such type of shops which fails to maintain the expected standards which is deliberately expected by the visitors..<br/>A customer having self-respected should never visit this shop..<br/>Pathetic Behaviour by the Owner..<br/><br/>Regards<br/>Rajeev Bais<br/>(9407451558,9425060558)

Very good street food in indore.. the taste of kachori is so good... they have diffrent types of kachoris and samosas. Good place for indori breakfast.

You can droll over the kachories here. Do not do the mistake of getting it packed. Try there and then, taste, menu and courteous people have not changed even a bit. Again let me go on record that I visited this place too after 20 long years.<br/><br/>My favourite kachories in the worrrld ... SLURRRRP!<br/><br/>Ps: do not do the mistake of skipping it because of ambience, high time we realise the real street food and enjoy it in those streets rather than a boutique restaurant.

They live upto the spirits of the city kachori and poha. But I must say there Bengali square branch is totally out of order. I hope they clean up that mess soon.

I used to eat poha twice a week . But now the poha offered is cold not at all warm . The jalebi was very thick and made in a mess . I have eaten Ravi since child hood and it was my fav . But now not liking it at all .

A popular destination for Indori- poha! Although they sell other items too but poha beats all. Once can also try sabudana wada, aloo wada. I have been eating here for quite long and they have maintained the taste through the period. <br/>Good taste, good service.

Great Place to grab a typically Indori breakfast, of poha and crispy-chashnee laden Jalebis. The Poha is done just right and the condiments on top sev, Onion, Lemon and the Masala are perfect. In fact the masala is the bomb, kept separately in a shaker outside. Add in copious amounts and squeeze in some lime.<br/>Its a hole in the wall place that's complete value for money.  Their kachoris were ok, not reat but not too shabby either. But come here for the poha jalebi, washed down with sweet-cardamom tea from the tea seller next door and you will leave home with a satiated smile.

Hello guys, <br/><br/>I recently went to Ravi alpahar in Saket, mostly I visit Ravi located at novelty as its near my locality and is always a confirm visit If I have gone to novelty. Ravi servers a small variety in kachori, like fariyali kachori, alu, battla and dal kachori. <br/><br/>Its a very small place but it is easily visible, now its between a few new and famous food joints at Saket. <br/><br/>I took alu kachori and faryali kachori well the taste is almost same as novelty shop, but there is a slit difference which I felt and which is better at novelty shop. Well but there is not much difference so people at Saket locality have nearest best place to have kachori. <br/><br/>Overall try and decide as per your preference

Best place to have pohe and kachoris. These two are the best things although fariyali khicdi and kachori are also available. <br/>They serve pohe in morning around 8 to 11 a.m. and kachoris in evening from 4 p.m.<br/>Now, they are serving jalebis too. I have been eating here since 5-6 years and 3-4 times a week and I can tell you that they are the best.

Starting the morning with Poha and taking some delicious Kachori or Sabudane ki Khichadi in the evening is the among the most memorable times at this place.. Students, workers, tourists, Indooris and Outdooris, with big and small pockets, this fits for all..

I visited this place hundreds of time still they maintained the quality of there Kachori and other stuff,  owner is this shop is gem of a person with very good behavior. In the morning time you can get one of the best Poha for your breakfast and in the evening you get famous Aloo ke Kachori here.

This outlet is at Anand Bazaar. I wasn't completely satisfied with the aalo kachori. This makes me an exception out here, as most of the reviews are quite positive. The quality of kachori is just okay not too delicious and nothing special.
