Review Ghamandi Lassi - Indore

Meenesh Jain
Their are a few places in indore which serve finest lassi.. ghamandi lassi is one of them. I always prefer a lassi while passing by sarwate bus stand.. their lassi is tasty and is very heavy.. you cannot have anything after a full glass of lassi... recommended

Good tasty lassi, just near to Indore railway station They serve different type of lassis and juices, one of the oldest shops! 4 wheeler parking not possible! Decent infrastructure but not at par with hygiene, you may not like to sit in the restaurant!

The name of the shop is Ghamandi (Proud) Lassi. This name nothing concern with Lassi. Lassi available in Plain , Dry Fruit and Mango taste. The quality is good. nothing so special. Shop interior is just ok. You can try for a change.

₹40 for plain lassi, which is good. I asked the owner the story behind the name: the man who started this place was once called "ghamandi/arrogant" by a friend. He certainly had a sense of humour, for he named his business venture "ghamandi/arrogant" after that remark.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Gamandi Lassi, and I must say it was a unique and refreshing beverage that left me pleasantly surprised. Gamandi Lassi is a traditional Indian yogurt-based drink known for its creamy texture and distinct flavor. The lassi at Gamandi was served in a tall glass, topped with a generous dollop of thick malai (cream). The first sip was a burst of flavors that instantly awakened my taste buds. The lassi had a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, creating a delightful harmony of flavors. The yogurt used was smooth and creamy, giving the lassi a velvety consistency that was incredibly satisfying. What made Gamandi Lassi stand out was the addition of aromatic spices, such as cardamom and saffron. These spices enhanced the overall flavor profile, adding a subtle and exotic touch to the drink. The saffron strands floating in the lassi not only looked visually appealing but also contributed to its unique taste. The portion size was generous, making it a filling and satisfying beverage. The lassi was served chilled, which was perfect for quenching my thirst on a hot day. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and the service at Gamandi was prompt and friendly. If you're looking for a refreshing and indulgent drink, I highly recommend trying the Gamandi Lassi. Its creamy texture, delightful flavors, and aromatic spices make it a true treat for the taste buds. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian beverages or simply looking to explore new flavors, Gamandi Lassi is definitely worth a try.

Ghamandi lassi is renowned name in indore, previously they are Indore's best in there sector but from some times they fall to there taste minorly but otherwise still it's good and tasty but can be more better if they can gain that taste again.

Ghamandi Lassi, the name may strike you, but has been almost-legendary in serving the best Lassis in Indore . For those who are new to lassi, it is a sweet & velvety drink made by mixing hung curd, sugar, and cream !!

Ghamandi Lassi<br/>Asi, Tusi and Lassi.<br/>Sarwate Bus Stand, Indore<br/><br/>I was amused by the name and impressed by the reviews. Thats the thing about #Indore, you trust reviews. When it comes to food, the city plays fair.<br/><br/>Lassi might be the ‘ghamand’ of #Punjab but at Indore the local yogurt drink seems to have found its own special place. Sweet & velvety and super thick , best quality curd, sugary, and creamy to the core!! I tried the dry fruit one and the ice cream one and plain one. I had to go three times.<br/><br/>Half, full and special - the most expensive one touches 90 Rs. One special is a meal in itself. Walking distance from station, one can go have a quick drink before hopping on or off the train. <br/><br/>Seriously, for the taste and quality thoda ghamand to hona hi chaiye :).One is enough, but just not enough :) plan multiple trips and go hungry or shall I say thirsty? Cheers! <br/><br/><br/>Instagram tandoori_delight

Couldn't ask for more better Lassi than this! If you get a chance to halt at Indore station please Head towards this outlet known as "Ghamandi Lassi" It's 15 mins away from Indore Station or for the Land mark you can ask the locals to guide you till 'Sarvate Bus Stand'. For sure you'll be full in 1 glass itself. And the best part which is everyone's favorite the Malai! They have my heart for making such kind of delicious and thick Malai. And the Lassi is cheap too!<br/>Price:- 80/-

The only reason i added this place to my food trip was because of its name. Ghamandi maens boastful and this place had all the reasons to be boastful. Loved the lassi here, not the best lassi ive ever had but definitely in the top 10. Also had the falooda here which turned out to be super amazing. Would highly recommend this place.

We ordered mango lassi, special lassi and dry fruits lassi. The lassi's were as delicious as it looks in the pictures!!. Best was the mango lassi. Special lassi was average I thought in comparison to other two but any day better than any lassi in the world. Consistency, quantity and taste was bang on!!.

One of the best dry fruit lassi I've ever had, and maybe the best in Indore. Even in winter this place is full with people. My personal favourite is Dry Fruit Lassi and other will be the seasonal ones which they serve. It is so good, that you could go every night right after your dinner to have this delicious lassi.

One of the best lassi I ever tasted after coming to Indore . It reminded me of shah gouse in Hyderabad lassi and masaqati of Hyderabad pure and richness of the curd along with the sweetness with dry fruits which made it make you feel like you are having lassi which is made by your mom. Great taste good work keep up. I would love to order again....

One of the most famous lassi shop in Indore from a very long time!<br/>You can step in here with your family and friends to enjoy lassi's, they have gotta great varieties or flavors of lassi's!<br/>

Goood taste very yummy lassi its very great if you are drained out in summer heat multiple flavours are available according to your mood its also very affordable
Krati
Yumm is what I felt after having lassi here.<br/>Authentic place for having lassi and they have some flavoured lassis as well like mango dry fruit etc. Finally I tried Indore’s famous lassi. This was little thick I enjoy punjabi lassi more which is at mil road it’s less thickness.
Ashim Roy
Good taste.....one should try this place as their milk products are really delicious. The only thing that i found bad is it seems to be bit unhygienic.

I come from a family where Gravy is considered as a #Beverage! 🍻<br/><br/>Indore is known for its food. But its time one should care for its beverages as well. One of the oldest outlet in Indore (named Ghamandi Lassi) serves the best lassi in the world. Its thick, sweet, and yummilicious. So. When are you getting drunk?🍺🍷🍻🍹🍶☕🍵 @ghamandilassi<br/><br/>#foodporn #food #foodphoto #foodpic #foodie #foodgasm #foodieforlife #foods #tbt #throwback #instafood #cute #instafamous

This outlet of ghamandi lassi is quite old and located at sarwate bus stand, opposite gurukripa hotel.<br/>They do have different types of lassi which is freshly served, but the quality is just okay and better options are also available in the city.<br/>I would always prefer Heera lassi over this....
Rushil Puri
i just love their lassi since here only i gt real thick lassi with malai.... being near to station the place is always buzzing ... one shld nt think abt ambience since it a small halt n go ....<br/>if in indore must try !! <br/>
Muley N
You need to improve and update your products by the time.<br/>In old days there was no such competition but in 21st century you need to upgrade yourself this place is only famous for lassi and believe no such greatness in their lassi. place is ok service is slow. Better lassi options are available in city and they need to improve there quality and service.
Devanshu Shrivastav
As the name says it all this place is famous for their lassi and shakes...Try any of their lassi and you will like it..Its definitely not the best lassi you would ever had but quite sure you will not get such lassi at such affordable price anywhere else..<br/><br/>Pretty good place for lassi lovers if you are looking for some good lassi at affordable prices..Its completely worth the money & tummy filling as well..
Terribly_tiny_reviews
Only famous for lassi. Worth a try.<br/>Must try: Normal lassi (very good)<br/>Kaju shake (very rich)<br/><br/>Service 4/5, Ambiance 3.5/5<br/>Pocket friendly.
Siddharth Lilani
I had heard a lot about this place. So I visited this place for the first time at least a year ago. I liked it but I didn't find anything special. I have had better versions of 'Lassi'. It is just that it is refreshing and light on the pocket. A normal beverage at Cafes costs around 120 bucks. This is much cheaper.<br/>Not worth the hype. That's all I can say.
Anirudh Purohit
What is their in reviewing this shop. It was the name earlier. Now nothing . Well if you want to have real lassi then you can try at jail road..
K.s.shibani Shankar Ray
If gone by the taste and flavour of the lassi alone, it's a 3/5.. Considering all other aspects it's a 0.5 reduction. Placing order and payment system is bit hazy. Clumsy set up. Okay for quick cycle time, but not comfortable for a bit longer stay. Other items than lassi are not up to mark.
Nikita K
Ghamandi lassi ..I am a huge lassi fan . Mumbai serves the best lassi .So thought of trying out the famous lassi in Indore which is near Sarwate bus stop ..Huge shop ..with ok seating space ..With actually no crowd seated.<br/>They had alot of items ..But wanted to try out their famous n popular ghamandi lassi ..the taste was good but i din like the upper extra malai on it ..That was the minus point ..The malai which one gets in Mumbai is totally yumm n fresh .. this one was stale.<br/>
Hussain Shoaeb
I don't know why I'm reviewing this place now, considering I grew up having this lassi. Sometimes people focus on everything but the basis and forget that basics matter tge most. The thickness of a lassi is the basic requirement and that is the key here. Simply love it.
Rishabh Khande
"Ghamandi Lassi"<br/><br/>A very old shop serving a big glass of lassi in Sarvate bus stand area.<br/>There Is nothing better then a glass of their special lassi in days of summer.<br/><br/>₹40 for one glass is nothing too high for anyone and for that you are getting a thick creamy Lassi.<br/><br/>Dont go here if you are looking for any kind of special service. Go Just for lassi.<br/><br/>Surely recommended.
Mukesh Gajwani
I was wondering why everyone warned me about not finishing my lassi or badam Shake. And soon enough when I saw the bottle and glass I figured out why. The richness and thickness of the lassi can make you skip a meal. And as I'm a big fan of badam Shake I loved the quantity and taste! . A must visit if your in Indore!! :
Aman Makhija
Jabh lassi aisi hi to ghamand to aayega hi ;)<br/>One of the best lassi outlets in indore . its an complete meal in itself.one complete glass I of lassi and you won't ask for food for sure. A must visit place :)
Ashwin Sharma
They serves the best Lassi in the town its just so excellent in taste.<br/>After a good meal you can just visit this place to have some Sweet & Rich Lassi.
Tejasswi Juneja
I guess this is one of the oldest lassi shops in town. And trust me you'll never have such a creamy and tasty lassi anywhere else in town. It's just yumm. So do try it once, you won't be disappointed. 😊
Vidit Shah
No words for this place. The shop owner knows some magic of making lassi and serving it. And yes as name suggests one should have ghamand while having such extravagant lassi.
Ar Shivam Kashyap
Please dont judge the place for its name or its offering. Both stands its value. Lassi that you get here is simply nonpareil. Shopkeeper have every right to be Ghamdi(Too Proud) about it :)
Vrushanka Nadkerni
With limited amount of time in Indore, I was torn between badam milk at Laxminarayan and lassi here. But we were closer to Sarwate, searching for the Panchal aachar, something that my dad had found and taken a liking to during our Mandu stay. So Ghamandi Lassi won and here we were, sharing a half pineapple lassi and a special Lassi between the three of us. The lassi was properly sweet and creamy and having the whole by myself would have made me skip dinner. The Pineapple lassi was unremarkable, didnt seem too much of a difference. The special lassi seems worth dropping by, specially on hot Indore afternoons.
Lalith Jain
Nonsense what's that special in the lassi which it serves I bet I can make even a better lassi at home and my advice it also doesn't require the name ghamandi what's so special no ambience no taste nothing the lassi is an ordinary lasssi

I have been here many times as ghamandi lassi is the most famous lassi shop in the city...!<br/>They are famous, and they are suppose to be famous because they serve yummiest lassi as there special ghamandi lassi is a must try...creamy lassi with fine consistency and perfect sugar blend is a treat to taste buds..! After So many years now there lassi don't tastes as It use to be before but still it's best in town..!<br/>Except lassi you can get other fruit juices and ice cream there which tastes good :)
Smar Gangs
An unassuming juice and lassi bar on a busy street of Indore where parking is a big problem but once you are served the lassi you'll get back here for sure. I have been here many times for their lassi and was amazed that such good lassi can be found outside the heartland of Punjab. All lassi and no ghamand .... Cheers.
Ekta Rijhwani
You have this lassi and I promise you you don't need lunch or dinner then. A gigantic glass full of thick creamy lassi with just the right amount of sweetness. An arrogant lassi truly it is. And why shouldn't it be..It's one of a kind in indore.
Rohan Raj
A must have if you've finished your food and are in the area. Lassi is what it is famous for. True love. 😍<br/>Ambience is just average as the place is just beside the bus stand.
Shrey Kumar Singh
The place is famous for its lassi as is pretty much evident from its name !!!<br/><br/>And they do justice to their name... Ghamandi means arrogance and this particular lassi is an arrogant lassi.... Very thick for a texture and sweet to the pinnacle.... Great taste and very heavy for a meal.... Seating n all r pretty average !!! Try the lassi here....

Ghamandi is The Brand Name for Lassi in this Region.<br/>Earlier there are 3 4 Outlets in The city.<br/>Now remains lesser.<br/><br/>The Lassi taste awesome and feels like one more.<br/>Must visit.<br/>Recommended<br/>
Yashraj Singh Dhillon
This is one of the best lassis in the world. Sweet, thick and delicious. Will either give you that rush of energy or make you extremely sleepy.<br/><br/>The taste is its pulling power and the price is very reasonable compared to other places.<br/><br/>Always been a perennial favourite of mine and never fail to visit this place whenever in Indore.<br/><br/>Recommended to all lassi lovers and people with a sweet tooth.
Bhushan Shiwalkar
In Indori, you call it And-Band! No other adjective suits it better.<br/>The Ghamandi lassi is full of cream, dry fruits and sweetness. In short it is the richest thing, one can prepare from Milk byproducts. I bet, ladies( or diet concious folks) won't even dare to have their dinner if they have Ghamandi Lassi dose in the after noon. For me, a Lunch at Guru Kripa (GK) accompanied with a Ghamandi lassi is a heavenly treat.<br/><br/>Ratings - Beyond scale!
Hitesh Kyada
Sells only lassi. It seems it is a tradition lassi shop. N sons u can say. <br/><br/>Must must try. Worth it.
