Review Socorro - Jaipur

In terms of hospitality and service, this is one of the best restaurants in Jaipur. The restaurant is located in Crowne plaza hotel. Valet parking is available. We went here for dinner. Sonu was our server who was helpful and nice. They have a kids menu as well. The pasta we had was excellent. The service is impeccable. We did not like the fish and let our server know. The chef came down to discuss this and they changed the fish with a fresh chicken dish which was amazing. The way the entire staff handled the situation, including chef, our servers and the manager was very pleasant. We left with an appreciation for their service and will definitely visit again. The staff's dedication is commendable.

Enjoyed great breakfast buffet. Loved the food, just some items were oily, rest everything was perfect. Waffles were great. Ambience is good. Service is prompt. Dosa, upma and omelettes were good. They have a huge variety in buffet. Overall it was a great experience with a super speedy service.

I have visited crowne plaza jaipur recently, I was hosted by Mr Dinesh, Mithun and Shyam . They were amazing at their service, specially Dinesh, he made sure I eat well and explained everything about the food they serverd. He has prepared daal bati churma for me and I loved it. Experience was good. We had a very good time. Staff was well mannered. There were several options in main course and dessert. Chefs at live counters were very helpful and kindest. If you want to have good food with good ambience then do visit Socorro in Crowne Plaza Hotel…..However we visited during 50% carnival offer. At full price its value for money is not justified…..

STARTERS: Good variety, but the pakodas and Hara bhara kabab weren't hot. MAIN COURSE: Paneer, Thai curry, dal, Gujarati kadhi, and three types of rice were available. Desserts included gulab jamun, chamcham, aamras, and three ice cream flavors. BEVERAGES: The appetizers were accompanied by beetroot carrot, jaljeera, chaas, and lychee sharbat, which were decent. They also served sweetcorn soup. OVERALL: The experience was average compared to the price of ₹619 per plate plus taxes. Some hits and misses._

The tomato soup was outstanding and freshly prepared, and the breads and the salads were delicious and served in variety. The appetizers were also great, despite having only 3 options available. However, the main course is where things fell apart. The kadai paneer had a rather confusing flavor and was not tasty at all. The mutton curry dish, although cooked well, didn't have any fragrant spices, so the taste felt mediocre too. It was rather weird to see that there was no chicken dish in the whole buffet menu. For dessert, the fruit panacotta was awesome. It was sugar-free and thus tasted very natural and soothing. It was one of the best panacottas I have ever had, so kudos to that. All in all, the menu was quite limited for a 5-star hotel restaurant. Secondly, the breads/chapati section was non-existent until I pursued one of the restaurant staff and asked them to make it available to us. They took 20 minutes to deliver the breads to us, by the time our dishes were already cold. At the end of our meal, I did like that they had hired a handicapped person at their restaurant, which touched me. It shows that these people are considerate and gracious. Also, the fact that the restaurant manager gave us complimentary tea was a really nice gesture. For those reasons, I upgraded my review by one more star.
