Review Cinnamon - Jaipur

Armaj Sombunjaoren
The restaurant was absolutely divine. The atmosphere was intimate within a palatial grandeur. The staff was very well trained and attentive to our needs. We all ordered the trial platter that included all the must try items and all of them were amazingly terrific. Each trial bowl provided a different delight and sensation to the tongue. Even a teenager who doesn't like to try new things in my group, found everything to be amazing. They also really accommodated customers' needs. They asked about food allergies. They even provided vegetarian options if we wanted. We also kindly asked to make each dish as less spicy as possible and all of them were really edible, while still containing the local flavours.

Went to the place with my wife and we did have a splendid treatment with sumptuous food! I would highly recommend making a reservation before visiting as food preparation takes time. We had : Silwatte ka murgh tikka 5/5 must must have chicken tikka tandoori starter. Dal cinnamon 5/5. Slow cooked dal makhni Paneer lababdar 4/5. Was a similar gravy like paneer butter masala, I suppose they can improve the recipe of this dish. The lacha parantha was amazing , all crispy aata flakes and no maida 😁 The above quantity was too much for us 2 people. One starter and one maincourse vegetable would have been easily enough. Do visit for an amazing experience. Not to forget, we had Taj epicure membership through which we got 25% off on our overall bill !

I celebrated my b’day with my family on 4th July. The food was delicious and service was awesome. I like dal makhni Gatta curry and rabri malpua very much. They provided complementary cake which was very delicious. I would like to thanks about their hospitality and quick service.

We had a great dinner at Cinnamon at the Jai Mahal palace. We enjoyed the cinnamon chicken, the subz nawabi handi (veggie dish), some gluten free roti, and garlic naan followed by the cinnamon ice cream. Beautiful setting and nice staff (thank you Manoj!). Would recommend!
Tapasaya Gund
Tasty food ! The chef was very kind enough to listen to our review .

One of the best North Indian food I have had in Jaipur. Prices are not OTT, would say value for money given it is a 5 star property. Recommend the Mushroom Galouti, Dal Cinnamon, Kadai Paneer and Laal Maas.

The food, ambience and service were all amazing! Chef Navraj Giri made a special spicy sauce for us since we like spicy food. All his preparations were delicious and he made sure to accommodate our food requests. Would definitely go back for his food!

‘Cinnamon‘ and they mean it when they named it that way because cinnamon is what you get as you enter. What also stands out is that it’s all traditional, elegant and contemporary. This is part of the Taj Jai Mahal Palace hotel and managed to dine in twice here during out stay , one for a very special anniversary dinner at the ‘Royal Bajot’ section which is a traditional way of low table seating and enjoying the meal being seated on the floor with the food on this decorated low table. The second time we dined in here was during lunch hours in the regular dining section. The ambience is so beautiful and it sure has a royal feel to it. Food and service was excellent. Zafrani Pulav, Vegetable Biryani, Gatte ki kadhi, the excellent mocktails, the wonderful wine, the Badam shorba would be the top pics for me. Highly recommended.

Vibe is worth a shot . Food is delicious so you pay Good 💰 for Good Food. Staff is humble. Staff is less in number but efficient enough to handle things perfectly. Overall had a great dinner night .

I've had the best safed maas dish ever and it was at this place. Super courteous staff. Obviously prices are a tad bit high because you are eating at a Taj chain. But totally worth the money.

We went specially to have traditional Laal Maans (named something different in the menu), and it was delicious. It was a great experience, thank you team.

Little too noisy with the boisterous guests. New money makes people behave funny. The restaurant/ hotel should have a policy to admonish guests to behave.

We had a very memorable stay at the Jai Mahal Palace. The pampering started from the moment we stepped into the Hotel - right from the warm welcome given to us by Ms. Misba Ansari to all the other staff... We had gone there to spend some time relaxing and ushering in my birthday and were thrilled by the time we spent there. The staff there was extremely courteous and friendly and ensured that we had a wonderful time and have left a lasting impression on us. The Personal touch in everything was indeed admirable - right from sending a cake and bouquet to the room to organizing a small celebration at the breakfast table. We were amazed at the wonderful spread and tried the various cuisines offered there....... absolutely loved the Italian food - the kids were thrilled by the Pizza and the Risotto. The "Lal Maas" that we had at Cinnamon was superb and we topped it with the in-house Cinnamon Ice-cream, another delight. We loved the way the Chefs interacted with us and explained how they made each dish that we liked......specially Chefs Rajesh Ojha, Mr. Kuldeep Rajvanshi and the Lady Chef at the Breakfast (sorry for forgetting her name !!) and heard stories about what different they had done in each preparations to make them so palatable and delectable.... We also loved the personal attention given to us by the GM, Mr. Rathore and his suggestions regarding what restaurants to try at the Jai Mahal Palace were spot on. He went out of his way to ensure that not only us but the kids also had a memorable stay. The "towel art" for the kids which was organized by Misbah to show them how Swans could be made by a towel was absolutely loved by the kids and they tried their hand at it......We were also happy with the personal touch shown by the Restaurant Managers, waiters at the restaurants specially Mr Mool Chand who won the hearts of the kids by his soft spoken style.... In all, an experience worth repeating soon...thanks to the hospitality of all the staff, especially Mr Rathore and Misbah..... Thank you so much.....hope to see you guys very soon...!!

The Taj Jai Mahal Palace was the best thing in Jaipur. The ambience, the facilities, the restaurants, the beautiful complex and above all the amazing staff. We booked this hotel for my daughters 21st birthday on the 11th February and we were not disappointed, she had the best birthday ever. Dining at the Cinnamon Restaurant was an experience in itself, the table had been decorated with rose petals and balloons, cake and flowers were supplied by the hotel. She totally felt like a princess in fact we too felt like royalty from day 1. I would personally like to thank Arihant, Shiv, Rakhee and Ummed for their hospitality , all the staff were exceptional. We will definitely be visiting again , thank you ïżœ

It was a wonderful evening well spent. The food served was fantastically awesome. I'd like to mention some special names Ms Kartika (FO) , Ms Pragati (F&B) & Chef Pradeep Shekhawat ; all of them were very courteous. Jai Mahal Palace surely one of the best hotel of the city with one of the best restaurants i.e. Cinnamon serving the best Indian food. Thanx Team JMP for such a warm hospitality...!!

An experience which cant be expressed in worlds.. words... I would start by thanking the complete team of Taj Jai Mahal Palace for making our holiday truly memorable in all possible ways. As avid travelers and admirers of Taj properties we have been to many Taj properties till now, however, this was our first time in a heritage property by Taj group. We were fortunate that it turned out to be one of the best holiday decisions that we might have taken in a long time. The level of hospitality that one gets at Taj is well known, however, the staff at Taj Jai Mahal Palace takes it to a different level altogether. There is a certain warmth and peace that flows in the air, a sense of oneness, a feeling that one feels at home or only with people whom we know for years and most importantly an extremely positive atmosphere that greets you at Taj Jai Mahal Palace.'NO' seems to be forbidden word across all ranks and departments at Taj Jai Mahal Palace. Each staff member seems to be waiting for an opportunity to go out of his or her way to provide maximum comfort to the guests. Interestingly the staff at Taj is extremely conscious of the definition of 'comfort' which can vary from person to person and they take pains to customize themselves as per the 'comfort' level of each guest. Infrastructure wise the place will leave anyone jaw-dropped at the way a centuries-old structure has been retained in almost the same fashion as it would been kept under Maharaja Jai Singh's regime. The unique blend of 270-year majestic architecture, a soulful Hindustani classical instrumental background with the finest modern luxuries makes the experience impeccable. To top this all, the exceptional culinary experience of exotic dishes such as Gosht Kachawa, Lal Maas, Daal-Bati and Gatta curry, leaves the guests longing for more. Special thanks to few people who have made our stay so beautiful: Kartika - Guest Relation Shiv Mathur - Overall Hotel Manager Kuldeep ji - Chef Sanjay Mathur - Chef Amerendra - Head Chef Aslam - from Marble Arch Santosh ji - From Marble Arch Pankaj - from Giordino Varun Nigam - General Mnager

We stayed in this property for 3 nights & 4 days. Everyday, we were treated superbly well by the staff. Let's start from beginning, We were attended & inducted nicely by Ms. Sujata from the (FO). The property is beautiful, serene & just amazing. It is a historical property which is beatufully maintained by TAJ. The team also organized surprise cake cutting for my spouse mid night on her birthday. Dharmesh & Swheta were excellent in fulfilling our demands for meals of different choices. On every aspects, the staff was prompt in providing effective services. They were very friendly and courteous. Special thanks to Mr. Ajay & Sujata ( FO), Dharmesh & Swheta (F&B) and Mr. Surendra from housekeeping for making our stay comfortable, pleasant & memorable one ! This palace should be on top of your wish list. #TAJNESS -- Ms.Dharmesh & Ms.Sujata gave us feeling of Tajness !

This has been the most beautiful palace I have ever seen...lavishing corridors with exotic luxury all around.......along with the beauty of nature all around..it seems to be one of the most memorable places in Jaipur for me. I went their for attending a Seminar for carrying out masters in USA...& really enjoyed it....infact the workers are also well dressed and highly proffessional.

The food was amazing but the cuttlery was not so clean.

The feeling of entering in a Mahal is speechless. Food was very nice. Staff was highly sophisticated and appreciated. Starting from meal boxes to tea , pastries everything was very nice. Lighting and seating arrangement was awesome. Enough space to accommodate hundreds of people. Nice ambience. Peaceful environment.

It is located at Jai Mahal Palace, Jacob Road, Civil Lines, Jaipur. They serve North Indian food. The average cost for two people here is INR 3,600. It is open from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm and then 7 pm-11.30 pm.

Food: Their galawat ka kebab has a taste that is incredible. Their paneer masala is out of the world. Their gatta curry is also mouthwatering. Their ker sangria is sure to be a pleasure to your taste buds. Their kadhi is made using chickpea flour and yogurt and it tastes like a million bucks. Their mutton curry is incredible as well. Their dahi kebab is incredibly tasty. Their cinnamon dal is also absolutely good as well. Their gosht safeda and gosht kavacha is something that you should definitely try.

Ambiance and Amenities: This place has an ambiance that is amazing and is perfect to go on a date. They have a full bar and valet parking available.

We visited cinnamon to celebrate a birthday. We made a prior reservation - I recommend booking a table since it's a cosy restaurant with not many tables.

Ambience - the entrance to the restaurant and the dining area itself was really pretty and had a palatial vibe. The tables were laid with golden cutlery and water goblets which gave a resplendent look to the entire place.

Food - we ordered dahi ke kabab, a mushroom starter, paneer butter masala, dal cinnamon and breads. We also ordered one Rajasthani thali. Though everything they served was great - I loved the dahi ke kebab - they were just delectable.

Service - the service was great, everyone was hospitable. Especially Manoj who attended to us was extremely sweet. Since we were celebrating an occasion, they even arranged an amazing fresh cake for us - which was definitely a delight.

I loved the place and would definitely like to visit again in the future.

Blast of flavours in every dish. Finely crafted delicacies embellished with the signature taste of royalty. It’s a place where you dine like royalty!
FoodieGyan
When we talk about Royalty , Taj Hotels always takes the First Place. If you are in Jaipur then you should definitely visit Jai Mahal Palace hotel. Beautiful hotel with amazing huge gardens and royalty at its best. The Warmth starts from the doorman to every staff. So we went to Cinnamon restaurant for dinner. Beautifully made place and food served in beautiful crockery which makes the food looks more yummy. We tried Badam ka shorba , galawat ke kebab , Safed maas with nice breads and to make it more special in end we ordered Jaipuri Paneer ghewar and Mawa Kulfi . Highly recommend this place.

A thaali (platter) fit for royalty! We had been looking forward to feasting on the dish that includes traditional items from Rajasthan and Cinnamon met all our expectations. The most alluring part is that the entire meal is served using pure silverware. We chose the regularly spiced non-vegetarian version and mildly spiced vegetarian option. Here is what our thaalis included

.

Photo 1 (vegetarian) - 3 breads (naan, missi (chickpea flour) roti and plain roti), paneer masala, cinnamon daal (lentil), ker sangri (green berries and beans), gatta (chickpea flour dumplings) curry, kadhi (also made using chickpea flour and yogurt), plain yogurt, cumin rice, salad, Paneer tikka and Rasmalai (creamy dessert)

Photo 2 (non-vegetarian) - 3 breads (naan, missi (chickpea flour) roti and plain roti), chicken masala, cinnamon daal (lentil), ker sangri (green berries and beans), kadhi (made using chickpea flour and yogurt), mutton (goat) curry, plain yogurt, cumin rice, salad, chicken tikka and Rasmalai (creamy dessert)

Anyone visiting Rajasthan must absolutely include thaali as part of the itinerary.

Service is excellent. The ambiance, however, is uncomfortable. The restaurant has been built in a long and narrow shape. We were sitting in one of the window areas, which was claustrophobic!

Cinnamon is one of the best restaurants that I have been to. The ambience is amazing with a royal vibe to it and the food is great too. The staff is very courteous and warm. I rated it 5 because of the staff, they sure add more to the happy experience. I absolutely recommend it, be it a romantic date or a celebration.

You want to sit in royalty and enjoy the most beautiful Ambience, This is the place for you. A heritage property by Taj, Jai mahal is elegant in its way. The food is delicious. The ambience makes it alot more delicious. It can be a place anyone and everyone should visit, if you're in Jaipur. Enjoy the royalty, The ambience, the elegance with amazing food. This place if is out of your budget, Should be good for a Coffee. And you'll never regret paying for it.

Fine dining place... Very expensive... We ordered harabhara kabab in starters... Two cocktails. In main course we ordered dal cinnamon and vegetable pullao. For dessert we ordered gulkand kheer.
Food quality 3/5
Food portion 1/5
Ambience 4/5
Service and staff 5/5

Highly expensive in terms of food quantity served.

Devang Jain
Amazing place.
It gives royal category food with a bit of home like flavours, that you really love.
The dahi kebab , cinnamon dal and the signature dish was wonderful.
Mr Arihant here was like a family member he made us feel at home.

Harsha Kogod
The only good thing we found about this restaurant is the ambience which is really Royal and makes you feel special being at this place. In our experience, during our stay at Jai Mahal when we visited this restaurant, the service and the food at this specialty restaurant did not do justice to neither the ambience nor the price at which the food is offered at this restaurant. The breads (roti, nan) were really bad and rubbery. Service was very slow and there were hardly people around to respond to our queries. We had pretty high expectations after going through various reviews, but the experience did not even come to half of our expectations.
Baneet Singh Tuteja
One of finest places to dine in by Taj Hotels .Cinnamon provides u a proper blend of fine taste & luxury experience the moment u enter in the restaurant as the Food will be served to u on Gold Plated Cutleries . Chicken Cinnamon & Dal Cinnamon Is a must Try as it is a proper blend of spices with mild touch of cinnamon which will embrace the taste of your palate .
Meghna
Me and my partner went for dinner. Taj is Taj. Their open garden and ambience would make u fall in love with it. However restaurants are just OK. This restaurant is small. Privacy is not there. You can b heard by others. No good music. Manager was rude. However chef and service staff were OK. They need to improve their standards

My husband and I statyed at the taj last weekend and had a wonderful experience. Therw are some places that just surpass your expectations and one such place is cinnamon at the taj Jai Mahal palace in Jaipur. It offers customizations and if one wishes, the restaurant can curate a thali to give you a taste of the unique Rajasthani delicacies.
The culinary experts at the taj, make sure that all the spices are specially ground everyday and get you the right taste. The must try are: gosht safeda, gosht kachava(the maharaja's fav) and the dal cinnamon which is cooked overnight. This is a true treat to the taste buds for any food lover.
The management ( Mr. Arihant and team) is amazing and truly service oriented. The ambience is in the form of dome and Pilar structures with inlaid Rajasthani designs on the walls.
All in all, you are in for a culinary delight !
Adhiraj Singh Rajoria
One of the best hotels in Jaipur. This restaurant was awesome food was great. Just the right taste i want in my butter chicken. The chef was great and staff very courteous. Like always i enjoyed dining at the Taj hotels.

I went there for a family dinner. Its really royal with gold and silver plates and cutlery and regal setting. The food as usual is yumm with 4 different cusines. The dal cinnamon is a house speciality and a go to dish. The dum chicken and dahi ke kebab were awesome. The connamon ice cream was nice and different.

The service is a bit slow but again you are treated royally. The restaurant manager Arihant as usual is a gem and the server dheeraj gave a good service.

It is expensive and one of the best fine dine restaurants in Jaipur.

I must say the best decision taken in my whole trip. Cinnamon The best place if you are looking to relish some authentic Indian meal. Delicious meal. The "Dal Cinnamon" still the flavors lingures in my mouth. As was told its cooked for 18 hours thats amazing indeed. The lamb dish I ordered gosht kachhawa oh my god a complete beautiful blend of spices. An amazing suggestion by the server. Over that such beautiful service by the staff. I could definitely feel that warmth. As it was the explained to me its indeed home away from home. Thank you for such a lovely and memorable experience. Iam definitely coming back again.

this is my second visit to Jai Mahel Palace and one of the reason to visit this place again (apart from others which are due to the royal facility and ambiance of the hotel) was excellent food provided by Cinnamon.
coming on the feedback about this resturant, i would like to rate it on different points:-
1. food quality:- 5 Star.
Excellent food

2. Ambiance:- 4 Star.
ambiance is very good and good presentation

3. service:- 1 Star
till last time i remember it was excellent. today at lunch the service was good but could be because of no one esle was having food apart us. we planned to go again toyda in the evening but the service was pathetic
no one was there to even receive us, tying to find place. the managet was right infront of us ignoring the new guest and trying to fulfill the requirments of existing customer
i had to come back unattended and planned to go to other resturant in town....
but even having said that, food is very tempting ...!!!! service needs to be looked into in a serious manner

over all 3.5 stars
Cutiepie.sony
Wonderful food coupled up with excellent service!!! That’s what you receive here... I highly recommend this restaurant. Perfect place to celebrate any occasion or be there for a casual meal.

So after ages I went to cinnamon restaurant, rather back to my favourite restaurant. And it has been really enhance ....The food is sooo tempting. The chef came to table.. even the Manager Mr
Chauhan and Khushi our butler was very wellcoming . Lovly experice.
Will surly come back

Vaibhav Malhotra
Liked: Actually I didn’t like anything except that they give you warm welcome as if you are a celeb but it is nothing but a trap.
Disliked: Food, food quality, quantity, high price, service time! One person handling multiple tables.

Actually, if one is planning to ho for fine dining, there are far more better options available. I would rate this place as 2 out of 5.

I went to Cinnamon restaurant at the Jai Mahal Palace with my friends. It is the best restaurant with great ambience as so far which I tried in Jaipur.
The food was really delicious as I and my friends had all the signature dishes. moreover, presentation was really superb. At last, I had the Cinnamon ice cream which was the best ice cream which I ever had, which I will recommend to everyone whoever will come to visit Jaipur and especially Jai Mahal Palace.
Last but not the least, the staff were really so courteous, friendly and helpful too ..specially MR.Arihant and Ms.Khushi
Thank you for the great hospitality.

Cinnamon has always been one of my favourite restaurants in the city. The ambience is excellent.with a view of other restaurant.

My friend and I opted for the Chef's non-veg kebab platter. As expected, each item was presented beautifully and was delicious! Food was served at a good pace, and the staff members were courteous as well. Especially Khushi, Arihant.

Will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Vartika Agarwal
Well ambience 5/5 for a luxury dining along with hospitality at last food matters. Few dishes are good. But most of the dishes were not good and the Indian breads should be more softer. The pumpkin sauce was amazing. Brinjal sabji was amazing and malaiyyo kofta was okyish panner mix veg was okyish. The food is okyish. It's just the interior and cutlery which is an amazing factor but not the food.
For food it's like uchi dukan feekha pakwan.

Best service experience at Cinnamon. The team is just wowo. We returned to a hotel that we've loved for some time and have been immediately remembered by the extra-ordinary staff. It's s gccuch a gracious hotel in Jaipur, a real treasure, easy going, with such lovely green spaces in the noisy city, yet elegant. It also boasts one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere, Cinnamon— its complex dishes brought us back night after night..
Yatharth Singh Rajawat
Last week me and my friends visited cinnamon for dinner. I must say best restaurant in Jaipur to savour true Indian flavours with really great food and excellent service. I loved the ambience of the restaurant with pink shades. We had delicious rajasthani thali and a nice mocktail. Dal cinnamon is a must try. All above excellent service by Khushi and restaurant manager Arihant. Memorable experience. Would love to come again.
Vikash Kumar
Once again, we hate to leave the cinnamon. It's such a lovely restaurant.Back in Delhi, friends who know about its special qualities, agree that this is the warmest and dearest place to stay in the city. The staff and all employees of the is outstanding and offer a singular warmth. The jai mahal boasts one of the finest resturants, Cinnamon,in all of North area.It is one of the most elegant having kept its style while other hotels loose their solu to modernism. Jai mahal has all the amenities and comforts that most hotels lack:memory and graciousness.

Visited yesterday for the first time. Great ambience, excellent hospitality, delicious food but the only turn down was extremely slow service... Min 30mins waiting for each order. Did not expect this sought of service. 😕
Jaipur
Lovely restaurant and wonderful experience. Dined few days back and enjoyed an evening with mouth melting kebabs and delicious lamb preparation. Royal ambience with the gold silverware and fantastic service. Staffs are well trained and always eager to delight the guest. Overall a great fine dining experience.

The food at Cinnamon is very good, and the selection is extensive since there are four regions to choose from. The decor is classic Indian, but it’s not over the top. We were not blown away by the decor or overall ambiance, which seems to be one reason many people come here. Also, the restaurant was very quiet, you could hear a pin drop. It would have been nice to hear a bit of background music.

What a royal restaurant with full of gold cutlery, glasses , plates etc, will give you the feel of golden era of kings & queens. Very romantic place for Indian cuisine. They serve Rajasthani thali too. This is an experience dining in this restaurant. Staffs will pamper you and add really value to experience which is unforgettable. We loved the Dal cinnamon & subz begum vegetables from awadi cuisine. Try their gulkand ki kheer if you happened to be there.

I visited cinnamon last week and was awestruck by the ambience. I ordered rajhasthani thali and loved every bit of it. Also murg angara tikka is a must have. I would like to acknowledge Pragati for her warm welcome and helping us with the menu. She is a true asset to ur company. :)

Cinnamon is one of the best restaurants we have visited in recent times. It is located in taj jai mahal palace. The restaurant is golden crockery and cutlery and even the water goblets are gold plated! was amazed to experience true Rajasthani Hospitality in this luxurious setting. We had ker sangri and galouti kebabs with missi roti since we wanted to try something authentic. The menu covers food from 4 princely states of India-Kashmir, Awadh, Hyderabad and Rajasthan. We ordered a la carte but I am definitely going to come again for a private dinner in their bajot

As you enter the restaurant, you’re welcomed by a wall with small mirrors on it and colourful lanterns. We had the rajasthani thali and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and the prompt service. will try their murgh angara tikka next time

A great place to have a royal dinner set amongst the Royal Jai Mahal palace. Managed by the lovely hospitality of Taj..The servers very very nice and helpful . The service amazing. THe Food was great. ORdered the Maas ke soole Laal Maas and the chicken Biryani..The maaas ke soole were succulent pieces of mutton which were soft and nicely coated with spice..Great tatse. The laal maas waa also very nice. Thick red brown gravy with soft mutton..Spices were toned down as per our request. The Biryani was very very nice and the rice had loads of flavour. Perfect end to meal was the cinnamon ice cream..Must have..Cheers

Super ambience and setting, good service and fantastic menu.. unfortunately the good news ends here as the food in this hotel is lousy. Have eaten here 6 to 7 times over the last couple of years.. the starters snacks like Maas ke sule are good but everything else on a buffet table is quite bad.. recent experience was last week, even the rotis come half cooked

Epic epic epic the best restaurant I ate at in the whole India. Amazing taste and variety of indian food from north to south. Amazing setting and staff are very hospitable. Listen to the chef recommendation. Not to be missed when in jaipur

Dined at Cinnamon twice last week. Both, Indian as well as Chinese food was good and service was exptional. Special mention to Mr. Narander Rathore and Mr. Aslam for their personal care. They were all around the place to ensure all the guests in the restaurant had a wonderful time. Great team! Kudos😃

I must say it all but seriously one of the best restaurants in india for cuisine from the northern regions of india. This coming from an Indian who has eaten Indian food all his life. Visited this restaurant for the 3nd time this year and all times found the food to be excellent and service is unique. The malai kofta as well as the dal were truly outstanding. Service has to be mentioned as it was nothing short of being the best. Highly recommended if you want to eat good Indian food.

I was really excited to try this place after reading there reviews and seeing there pictures . I loved there ambiance , they have maintained it very beautifully . There service was also great . But I was really very disappointed by there food . I thought although it is very expensive but it must amazing . But that was not the case , it was bland and taste less .

This is the Indian cuisine restaurant within the Jai Mahal Palace. The property is just too awesome with larger than life decor which you can expect from a Taj group. The service , the behavior of the staff was upto the mark. I and my wife talked to the chef regarding our taste preferences and what they had to offer before we actually ordered our meal. The food was tasty. I should highlight the top 3 items which we liked very much ..1) lal maas 2) cinnamon Daal 3) Yakhni shorba.

At the end of the meal there was a special cake arranged (not that we asked for the same) by the manager and it added to the special occasion which i and my wife were celebrating. Thanks for a wonderful experience. If we happen to visit jaipur again , we will make sure to visit this place again.

P.S. Special thanks to the darbaan who made the evening even more special by helping us click pics with a special vintage dummy car that stood within the campus.

I had planned an anniversary dinner for my mom and dad at this place and I must say, it exceeded expectations! The manager went out of the way to make them feel special. The ambience was breathtaking like a dream and my mom kept raving about the Cinnamon dal, which is considered a specialty. Will be sure to visit this place in my next trip to Jaipur.

This one is the Indian cuisine restaurant of the famous Jai Mahal Palace. Ambience, service and decor is out of the world. Completely apt and what you would expect at Taj.
The care and attention you get at any Taj property is unmatched. We went for our special date night and they made it completely worthwhile.
Now coming to food, so we are big foodie and that's always the priority, here I would say I was slightly disappointed. They have a great menu with cuisines from across nation.
We ordered their signature dishes (Daal, Mutton and chicken)
Daal was out of the world, mutton was good but cinnamon chicken was really ordinary. I was slightly taken aback. However rest everything made our day.
And yeah, their Yakhni shorba (Kashmir special) was exceptional. A must try.
I was there with my wife stayed at the hotel for 2nights to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.
So we thought of having dinner at this restaurant.
Ambience was super what u can expect from a 5star heritage property.
We ordered a our drinks nd for starters we order there nonveg platter in which we told them not give sea food. So they gave us more chicken nd lamb as replacement.
The nonveg platter was not at all to the marks of 5star the chicken was dry as if it was microwaved the lamb seekh was the same. It was such a bad experience we didn't want to continue our dinner there.
Management please chk with the quality of food.
What a lovely time spent there !!! Superb interior, very elegant gold plated ( for show piece) plates & lovely food. I highly recommend trying their traditional DAL, I rate it better than DAL BUKHARA of ITC. Chef Danish was very co-operative as well as knowledgeable chef who made a lovely fish curry for me on my request..

This place is exquisite,a perfect place if you want to go out on a royal date.I was impressed not only by the good food but also by the good service . Mr. Kuldeep who is the senior chef there prepares sumptuous Indian curries and we were served by Miss Dharmesh who was very courteous.I tried their achari paneer tikka and cinnamon chicken curry and both were really nice. Also their dal makhani is quite delicious.I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice Indian continental food in Jaipur.

Spectacular experience at this gorgeous restaurant in the lovely Jai Mahal Palace. Everything was perfect- from the complimentary papad platter that came with a fantastic papaya chutney and yoghurt dip, to the friendly and courteous service, from the amazing paneer Chaman to the excellent garlic naan. The interiors are lovely as expected, the crockery is ornate without being out of place, the menu covers Awadhi, Rajasthani, wazwan cuisines plus they had a special menu too. Everything on the menu sounded so good, you are truly spoilt for choice. I would love to revisit on my next visit to Jaipur.
