We had a good experience. If you’re looking for a Chinese restaurant in Jaipur, this restaurant might be an option. Shrimp dim sum were my favorite.

Had a wonderful experience at Chao! They have pretty good options for vegetarians too. I had manchurian, noodles, crispy veg, dim sums. Everything tasted good. Service was also great. Ambience is lovely. Would definitely visit next time and try the desserts too! Highly recommended is crispy veg and Manchurian!

Chao is an Asian themed restaurant located in hotel Holiday Inn. This place has such beautiful interiors and ambiance that you will be in awe as soon as you enter. The seating is comfortable and has a fine dining kind of setting. The music goes totally in sync with the place. They have an elaborate menu with some unique Chinese dishes. They have also introduced sushi. They also have full drinks menu. The service is good. The dishes taste delicious. Tried quite a few of them and all of them were full of flavour. The portions are decent. Overall, this is one of the best places in Jaipur of you want to enjoy authentic Asian/Chinese cuisine.

This is a fab place to dine. Staff r awesome and accommodated our needs. Great atmosphere. Food was delish specially the chopsuey chef whipped for us even tho not on menu. Go for bowl meals if u can.

Nice place to spend time with your family. Food is good especially Spicy Edamame and Kimchi Bao. The ambiance of the place is calming. The staff was courteous and helpful. Valet parking is available as the restaurant is located in Holiday Inn.

Wonderfull experience, fabulous Chinese food accompanied with perfect ambience and service. They offer good variety for vegetarians as well. Thupka was exceptional. Only let down was fried wonton as it had salt and garlic at higher end.

Chao.. A Chinese restaurant at Hotel Holiday Inn.. By far the best Chinese food I’ve had in the city.. Some of my favourite dishes would include the dim sums platter, noodles and manchurian.. and you can’t leave without having Darsan 🩷

Chao serves amazing Chinese cuisines, especially their chicken noodles & appetisers. It is worth trying and paying.

The place is well maintained with good staff. Food's taste will never disappoint you. Planned for a 4 day trip to Jaipur out of which preferred going to Chao for dinner most of the times.

We loved the ambience, the selection of dishes and the decor. Special thanks to our Chef who visited our table to ask us about our experience and the food, and to Ravi and Prakash for their great service! We visited here for dinner today while elusively searching for oriental food. We ordered dimsums mixed platter. They were picture perfect. Next came salt prawns. We had requested for shallow fried prawns. They were exactly made as requested. Mind blowing. In main course we requested mixed fried rice and steamed fish. Again they were to the point and very very tasty. Finally to top it off we ordered a dessert called Gula melaka, which had sabudana dipped in roohafza served in coconut milk along with jaggery. It was a visual treat to the eyes and tasted magnificent. In the land of rajwadas I discovered innovative and well cooked chinese food by Chef Surendra Yadav! Fit to be called food for the KINGS!

DimsumsHoney Chilly Fried Lotus StemChilly Garlic Hakka NoodlesPinacolada in mocktails.Everything went 10/10 from my end.If you wanna have chinese you must drop in to Chao.Thanks to the Staff for such a nice experience.

Came on the suggestion of my friend on a trip to Jaipur and really got happy as it was not a bad suggestion... Staff there is very helpful and will make you understand what the Chinese food is all about.... Mr. Atap explained well his menu and suggested some new dishes from Chinese new year menu..... Hats off to chef for a very well balanced food and very good service by Prakash....

Chao Chinese bistro - a place where you will get relaxed and can enjoy real authentic Asian food.. I ordered one hot and sour soup which is my favourite followed by crab in my mains.. Lovely dish, well presented and a five star service on top of that.... 100% recommend for everyone to try once,and those guys will make sure that you will be back again.... Kudos to whole team... 👍

Chao Chinese - a best place to dine with. Came yesterday night, they are celebrating Chinese New Year (year of rat). Better than Dragon house as per me. The Mie goreng was horrible. Even the smallest of the Indian Chinese places have better noodles than that... it did not taste at all like mie goreng. The ribs weren’t cooked well either. The meat wasn’t marinated and had no flavour of its own. <br/>We were so utterly disappointed!

On suggestion Came for a dinner with my friends and truly saying not got disappointed at all with the suggestion given to us.. Wonderful staff with a nice food and friendly chefs will never allow us to forget our dining experience... An amazing place to experience a fantastic oriental cuisine. Impeccable service, sophisticated ambience and of course beautiful presentation of the food. <br/>I been on a busy weekend where I have been greeted well and escorted towards a cosy table, server was very courteous and suggested me sushi and honey chili lotus stem which was wow. For Chinese food lovers Chao is the best place to visit. Last week visited Jaipur in a conference and came to Chao to have our dinner. They have the best soup named Kaho Suey which was the best I ever had. Followed by Honey chilli lotus stem and General TSO chicken as a starter. Taste wise awesome. Mr. Atap suggested us nice sushies that was first timer for us to try. At first we were thinking either to go for that or no but we tried Asparagus tempura which was really amazing and to die for. Recommended for everyone to visit Chao and feel the best taste of Asian cuisine..

Really loved Striped veges, oriental veges, Bok choy and silken tofu with chilli garlic noodles and jasmine rice. Such a wonderful combination. Visited with my spouse and really loved this place!! Cordial and well mannered staff, delicious food, good service! Right from the moment we entered we were impressed with ambience and overall professionalism among staff members. Mr. Atap Tiwari provided excellent suggestions when he saw us struggling in making a choice and provided prompt help in conjunction with the waiter. Very bad experience, staff is very cold. We unlocked Zomato gold and the waitress later(after the food was done) told that it is not applicable on sushi. Sushi was good though otherwise food wasn't upto the mark.<br/><br/>Won't recommend it as the staff is unbearably rude. A little smile won't kill guys.<br/><br/>Not a pleasent experience here. We visit this restaurant for lunch and it was a great experience. the staff is polite and well informed about their menu, the service is prompt and the ambience pleasant.  <br/>We ordered: <br/>1. Dimsum basket: perfectly formed dimsums with delicious flavours. very delicate and delicious.  <br/>2. Honey chilli lotus stem: one of the favourites from the meal - super crispy, spicy, sticky and delicious.  <br/>3. Wok fried greens - we ordered these in soy garlic sauce and they cam just how we ordered. perfectly cooked vegetables (not over cooked at all) in a very mild sauce, as specified.   <br/>4. Thai green curry (Kaeng khiao wan pak) - again a flavour bomb, tasted great with the hakka noodles.  <br/>5. Veg hakka noodles - no fuss delicious noodles.    <br/>6. Mei gorang (Fried rice) - this was bit of a miss, could pass on this as it was a bit spicy for our taste and looked a little bit like desi Chinese, something we weren't expecting considering the rest of the meal.

This joint turned out to be worth its reputation as an authentic asian restaurant. Ambience and service etc.are, of course,pretty good. I also liked the sitting arrangement.<br/>What is nice about these joints,is that they never overdo a dish,not do they use extra cooking medium(in a useless attempt to make the dish 'palatable'. The assorted dim sum basket was a pleasant surprise.Some of the nuggets were a tad too salty,but overall the delicate balance of flavours was so well maintained. The steamed fish was great,quite like the basa we usually cook at home,but,one gets an edge by using special adjuncts to the main dish. It is how the final product turns out to be, which matters!<br/>The menu was extensive,and I would certainly want to try more.

I have been there for short visit from Qatar. i was so tired and was not in the condition to go out from my room but my business partner forced me to step out from the room. so finally we have decided to have some Chinese food. so we went to the restaurant at Holiday inn. Amazing hospitality by the staff of the hotel, specially in the Bistro Asian restaurant. Hostess Lari was there to welcome us. we had ordered for Mushroom & asparagus kothe, chicken salt and pepper and assorted dim sum basket with some beverages. which was sooooo delicious. we met with the manager Atap, he was so polite and genuine with his commitment. After the meal we called the chef to say thanks. Glad to met with chef Jagdish and lalit. They made my visit more meaningful. <br/>I will highly recommond the restaurant for the asain food.

Chao! Chao! Chao! What a nice place is this.<br/>I came yesterday to Jaipur for a visit. During my visit I asked my colleagues to go for Chinese dinner. They suggested CHAO at Holiday Inn. As I was new to the place I was needing suggestions. I called there manager and literally he suggested us mouth watering and finger licking food. I enjoyed there signature appetiser Lotus stem. Followed by chili garlic noodles as a main course and fried ice cream as a dessert. I really loved the food and the concept. Next time my visit would be for sushi 🍣. Thanks to Mr. Atap for recommendations and chef Lalit to let us know more on sushi.

My favorite food is Chinese and Thai as always. On my tour to Jaipur we heard about Chao Chinese bistro by one of our collegue and we decided to go and try some owsum food. Their dumplings was mouth watering that I can't stop eating it,with a general TSO chicken was a good match, I enjoyed fried ice-cream as dessert as it was different and fascinating. I recommend you to go as it's a worth of price on ur visit to Jaipur. Plus the beauty of Jaipur city was cherry on cake. All the staff was very friendly and cool. I wish to have I chef from this restaurant to be with me for whole life to feed me well. Well done guys u made my day and our trip.

One of the best Chinese bistro in Jaipur... beautiful interiors and comfortable seating..<br/>In starters we ordered prawns Salt and pepper & Cantonese five spice fish..both were outstanding and well prepared..all beverages were perfect..<br/>In main course we ordered prawn & fish in chilli oyster sauce and Yangzhou chicken rice... followed by fried ice cream... everything was cooked to perfection...had a wonderful evening.. Went to Chao after hearing a lot about it. The restaurant is tiny yet so beautiful. I am completely in love with the ambience. The place has a bar display and a live kitchen at the entrance, which makes it look more amazing. I tried many things but our server Jatin recommended stir fried mock meat, which has become my favourite. The drinks were also nice. Dimsums were served as per the right standard but i feel chef can do a lot to improve the presentation, the food is excellent though. <br/>All the servers were quick and knowledgable. I m looking forward to visit this place again very soon.

An amazing experience, I had come with no expectations but left very satisfied!<br/><br/>The interiors are done beautifully giving you an Asian feeling from within, the service was very very prompt, they also have a section of live cooking.<br/><br/>We had ordered for an appetizer, flat noodles with asparagus and broccoli, one main and sticky rice.<br/>It was a very delightful and delicious meal, indeed!
