Review Midtown Multicuisine Restaurant - Jaipur

Andre Gorgievski
One of the best Thali's I've ever had. Try the Rajasthani Thali, it is amazing. Don't be deterred by the little alley way entry it is well worth it! Raj provided a nice service, not to mention the terrace has a great view of Jaipur.

Found via tripadvisor, was looking for somewhere near me that had a recommendation. This was the nearest to my hotel. It’s a gem. A hidden treasure. Down an alleyway, up the stairs, or the lift, third floor and then some if you want the rooftop experience. When I arrived around 8 it was dead. Still, I persisted. Had a veg jalfrezi (its pure-veg and no booze) and rice, was absolutely delicious. With a soft drink and masala chai it came to 435 rupees. A steal, I left with a happy belly. Shame it’s not busier, it should be. They have wifi but it doesn’t reach the roof top. Music is quite strange. Staff are very friendly.
Arun Verma
Lovely view and can be called the romantic view from the rooftop, very delicious food & one of the best place for family dinning. I love the food and there staff is also very nice.
Joakim Bergman
My friend and I just enjoyed an amazing dinner at the rooftop of this restaurant, and the food as well as drinks was amazing. The service was the best so far on our trip and they were very sweet and cared about what we said and showed genuine interest. I really want to recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience with also an amazing view.
Ben Clancy
Excellent restaurant, highly recommend the Thali. The service was also the biggest highlight. Raj was servicing us and he was brilliant. Even gave us a lesson in flying kites. Great view of the city at sunset.
ANKAN MAJUMDAR
The best Rajasthani food I had over here @250rs per plate... There's even roof top dining for parties and the view is also quite good. Whatever the food was just awesome.
Divyanka Kapoor
This place mostly attracts tourists visiting Rajasthan! They have a variety of Rajasthani dishes which you can eat - I tried their Rajasthani thali and loved it!!
Nishant Kumar
Visited 2 times on a 3 day tour of Jaipur !! Really enjoyed the roof top view and the Rajasthani Thali !!

Finding it is hard/sketchy but it's worth it, excellent food in a beautiful restaurant.
Palak Navdiwala
The owner is a truly gentleman. I had my lunch here when I visited Jaipur with my friends. We were low on budget and yet he wholeheartedly fed us with no compromise in the quality and quantity of the food. The dal makhani we ordered was an absolute delight. Highly recommend having your meals here if you're in the market area. A short walk from choti choupar to this restaurant.

Very nice hidden place. We were for Ute's enough to get to eat at this restaurant via shop owners who we bought goods from and showed us this place. Amazing staff and very large menu. From traditional Rajasthani food to Italian and other European cuisines. We were a bit two minded about how it would be as the menu was so large, so decided to order different types of dishes and it was really goood. We all enjoyed our meal and service. There is seating available on rooftop with a nice view.

One of best places in Jaipur to try out the best Italian and Continental cuisine. The ambience of the restaurant is surreal and peaceful. The price of the food is too modest with the kind of super taste. The service and hospitality of the staff is great and highly friendly. The taste of pasta and pizza are far better than the regular pizza chains of Dominos and Pizza Hut. Overall 5/5 rating for ambience and food.

We were really satisfied. Rooftop is a beautiful place, everything pretty clean, noce toilets and good food. Prices are bit higher but great service and kind staff. To find it you have to go through a gate back in the yard.

A lovely calm clean restaurant in the midst of maddness and mayhem .my husband had a jalfrezi, which he enjoyed and I had a thali which was wonderful we stayed for a long time .we stayed in the air con restaurant as it was too hot, but did go on the rooftop to see the view I would recommend this place to anyone .The only annoyance was the shop keeper from downstairs who was allowed to come in the restaurant and sit at the next table and pester us while we were eating overall 5 out of 5 if the owner keeps shop sellers out xx

Bad food.. Shangri was spoiled.. We returned.. Over priced.. Food was avarage quality and very less quantity.. For 10 mushroom in mushroom tandoori they charged ₹180/..not worth..

Great food, great service and an excellent view of the pink city from the roof top.

Excellent service and cool place to enjoy...............
Upasana Puri
We ordered veg noodles and veg Manchurian. The noodles were uncooked and so was the Manchurian. Returned the food and asked for dal fry, aloo jeera (looked more like aloo chat without spices), raita and tawa roti (decent). Ideally they shouldn't have charged for the food which we did not consume and returned to the kitchen, however they charged us for the veg Manchurian coz we had taken a Manchurian ball from it initially. Kindly visit only at your own risk. Highly recommended not to visit

Worst service ever . The restaurant was empty still the service is worst . <br/>We order some starters and wait for 20-25 minutes and after waiting so long they tell that starters are not available .
Tijo Thomas
The service is quite poor, as someone rightly said the location is a bit weird, but I guess the rooftops is good in the evening<br/>Food is average, but price is High
Kanchan Kumar
Located in a creepy place you won't come across at one go. It has got a small lift to take you up but if you want to take stairs mind it they are very steep. Ambiance is fine on the rooftop, but the staff and service isn't that supportive and co-oparting. They respond very slowly and would come to your service very late even if the restaurant is empty. The taste isn't of the top quality Rajasthani food compared to the price they charge and the portion served is also less on alacarte. However if they improve these services one should visit this place.

Place have a soothing interior and good view, but the management is very poor and staff is also not trained properly. Expected some good experience from this place but disappointed..
Yağmur Şimşek
It was the best meal fron indian cuisine. I do not eat spicy food and it was the first meal that i tried which is not spicy at all. I dont remember the name of meal but if you asked for them "DRIED VEGETABLE MEAL", you will have the best vegetable meal. Definitely recommended!!
Shalini Giri
I have been there with my mom... It is a nice place with soothing embience and breathtaking view, to sit and relax with friends and family... The staff is very kind, polite and humble. Last but most important... Food was really really very good...
Im
The place boasts of an extensive menu across Italian and Indian. However what ever dish you ask for is not available. After a lot of deliberation, we ordered North Indian menu - matar paneer, dal tadka, malai kofta, pineapple raita, masala kulcha, rotis and rice.<br/><br/>The dal tadka was nowhere like the staple dish of north India and the malai kofta was like sweet desert. The pineapple raita was more of a pineapple watery rabadi. Matar paneer was decent. Masala kulcha was half cooked. Overall the food experience was bad and leaves one desiring for more.
Konark Vashishtha
Awesome view and very nice place for Friends and Family. Food was also great, we have ordered Mix Veg, Paneer Lababdar and Dal Tadka with Garlic Nan... and everything was perfect.
Priyanka Saha
Food is alright and tables are quite dirty. The service is good though. Dal makhani and laccha paratha are good. Skip the pizza as the cheese and tomato base aren't that great. They charge above mrp for mineral water
Dr. Zainab Qazi
We had to wait for 50 minutes to get our food. The service is pathetic. Even the juice took 50 minutes. They were only 3 tables full including us. Moreover my meal had a hair in it. It’s disturbing. We read the good reviews and went there but it was such a disaster.
Yash Trivedi
All rates are nearly double as shown in zomato..updation of menu rates required..place is gud bit why so difference in menu of zomato and its actual on site menu
Sandeep Poonia
Amazing and affordable rooftop dinner in heart of pink city. You can't expect more from any restaurant. Absolutely brilliant!! We ordered one Rajshathni Thali and absolutely loved it.<br/>
Shashank
I ordered preiminum thali. Quantity and quality of food is good. The lachha pranthas we're good n crispy. Panner butter masala was okay and there was a lot of jeera in the rice. The dal and other panner veg was good in taste.
Julia Roberts
We had lunch last Sunday on my friend's birthday. Food was too good. I tried paneer tikka here which was very good in taste.Staff was very attentive and organised.  I must say this is must visit place if you are visiting Jaipur. ..Also ordered surprised fruit cake for my friend through Giftjaipur.com. Cake got delivered on time.It was fresh and delicious...Overall a Great Day.
Yash Agarwal
Worst service... Staffs not cooperating... No management at all... They didn't serve the food for one hour after we settled down... Staffs were rude and very bad... Worst experience...
Omkar Bhagwan
Mid town restaurant located in the heart of the city, you actually have to walk from the narrow streets and a more narrower walkway leading to the elevator, but the food is real awesome here, we had a Punjabi cuisine truly a flavour of Punjab minced well in the midst of Rajasthan, I suggest give it a try to this place, they have amazing ambience and a roof top.
Vinisha Jayasankar
One of the best ambience ever visited.<br/><br/>We were on a trip to jaipur and wanted some place to refresh ourselves from a very tired day.<br/>Wat we found was the best.<br/><br/>Good food 4/5<br/>Good hygiene 4.5/5<br/>Great service 4.5/5<br/>Awesome presentation of food 4/5<br/><br/>The service was very good... They helped us wid many dishes.<br/><br/>Price for 10 people wer just around 4500rs wich was quiet cheap.<br/><br/>The only issue we had was with the order... Bcz they identified each dish with a specific number which we found to be bit confusing.
MSquare
Overall- 3.5......One can visit if need economical lunch/dinner around Hawa Mahal. <br/><br/>Food --3.5.....<br/>Strictly veg. Pocket Friendly.<br/><br/>We had Paneer Tikka as starter and Tandoori Roti and Naan with Paneer Butter Masala and Dal Makhani for main course. <br/>Paneer Tikka was delicious , soft paneer and lots of ingredients .<br/>Paneer butter masala was not as good as tikka but not bad either ; the slight touch of sweetness/sourness was missing.Tandoori roti was so crispy that I changed my naan orders to Roti itself after I had the 1st piece. Naan was good to but not as good as roti. Sizes are small as compared to an average roti/naan.<br/><br/>Ambiance - 4.0 -- A well decorated , neat and clean and very spacious restaurant. The furniture and dishes are decent . You can definitely visit it with family or friends. <br/><br/>Service--4.0 -- Decent , polite and professional service . Takes a bit of time to prepare food but it is worth the wait. <br/><br/>Location- 1.0 -- It is located in an old building in a small "gali" behind front line of shops. So finding  and reaching it was very difficult the first time.  Suggestion to at least put direction board at the main road .
Vaibhav Vig
Poor service, and pathetic Chinese food. So bad that I doubt it can be better in future. Don't ever visit this place. Interior is decent, cutlery is bad.
Annmary Et
'Don't go there' , this is my suggestion to anyone looking at this place. The service is very very bad and slow. The kitchen is very dirty and doesn't look hygienic at all. The wait time is about an hour here.<br/>
Roshan Nampeli
A bad experience on the whole. There's no waiter who is willing to come and take your order. You need to go and find a waiter and request him to come to your table. And the service is ultra slow.<br/>Won't recommend this to anyone.
Pradeep Nair
Terrible service and below average food. Wonder why they are still in business. A street side vendor has better business sense than these guys, if I had the option of cancelling my order and walking out I would have. Worst is they have TripAdvisor, Zomato recommend stickers all over.
Aparna Sivakumar
The food is very sumptuous and worth visiting. The restaurant is little bit inside but the food is value for money. The positioning of fans and air conditioners could be improved as one fees very hot during pea hot temperature. Otherwise, food is great.

This place is located is located near Hawa Mahal but you ll have to really look hard to find it. Only good thing i can say for this place is, in case you are dying of hunger, you ll get some food. The food served was so bad, I had never tasted Paneer chilly that was so badly made. They just used a few sauces and dip paneer in it and there you go, your paneer chilly is ready. So was the noodles. Avoid the place until you are really hungry and can eat any crap !!
Himanshu Agarwal
epitome of inefficiency and heights of rudeness. They charged 500/- for a membership card and now are denying to reissue the card. He had the gall to ask me to pay 500/- again.
Parag Dharmul
A slightly difficult place to find but worth visiting. All veg dishes are great. They have a great service.<br/>Though ambience could be a bit better.
Jeet Khandelwal
Yesterday I went their ya tha way to restaurant is bit shaddy but I have read a lot of review about it but the quality of food is the worst experience I had in jaipur during my three day stay I ordered a rajisthani thali here but the rice was not cooked properly in dum aloo aloo was raw not boiled at all... Spoiled my whole evening... Will never anyone to go their..
Supriya VS
This place is a very typical example of "don't judge a book by its cover" May not be situated very visibly..but the food here is to die for. Authentic Rajasthani food and the thali is a must order. Kudos to the food.
Vibhuti
Good ambience, very good service and very tasty food. We were tired after visiting nearby places, this place was a great place for a little break while lunch and we were ready for other visits on the city.
Abhijeet Modi
Midtown, as the name suggests is located right in the middle of Jaipur city. Now, it has very quiet indoor seating but all the dingy walls just can't be ignored.<br/> <br/>We ordered a couple of starters like Masala Garlic Bread, Indian Pizza and Beans and Cheese Nachos which were terribly cooked. All the three dishes tasted very ordinary. Specially the nachos were very chewy. Now it was time for the main course which was equally ordinary in taste and the experience was made even worse by their mediocre service. <br/><br/>In conclusion, I would like to say that this place is only worth a visit if you are just looking to add a new restaurant to your directory otherwise I cannot think of a good reason is to why anyone would want to sit in a dingy place, have a substandard tasting meal and then pay more than what I call, reasonable prices.
Karthik Krishnan
Excellent Rajasthani Thali..they serve you Kair sangri Sabji which I could not find anywhere else..the approach to this place is a bit Shaddy but don't let it get in your way of trying out this place..You will go back with your heart as well as tummy full
Adithi
I loved this place. <br/>It's tucked away in a shady looking alley and seems like any other Indian restaurant, but you're in for a surprise. <br/><br/>We tried their thalis. Huge. Literally, two people can can share one. Each dish is divine. Also, for those who are not used to heavy food with a lot of cream and cashew paste, don't overindulge.<br/><br/>I'd recommend their Kair sangri, it's the best I've had till date. <br/><br/>PS: their staff are very friendly and kind. If I had to whine about anything, it would be that they need to replace their table cloth more often, but the value for money, fantastic food and service makes up for it.
Nitish Gupta
It has great ambience. The food was delicious. Also, it is cost effective. Considering it's location, it is the best restaurant. :-)<br/>I couldn't try rooftop.

Tried their special thali and it was worth the money.<br/>The view from their restaurant is awesome.<br/>Also the prices are pocket friendly.<br/>Staff is friendly and service is fast.<br/>

A decent restaurant with great Thalis on offer and located just in the middle of Pink city. A good place to get away from the heat and fill your stomach after visiting the usual tourist spots nearby.
Jennifer Maurer
Good food on quiet spot removed from main street. We had Indian, but restaurant also offers Italian and Mexican. Place was empty when we got there around one, but a few more groups trickled in.
Rajesh Garg
Awsome food and awsome service. Ate north indian dinner here. Staff was very cooperative and understanding. Another good thing is that they have tawa roti :)
Dina
Well if you are looking for a quality food in the old pink city then this is the place to eat. They have a good Menu with many options. And if you are interested in eating Rajasthani thali then it's a good choice. The taste is not pure Rajasthani as in not so much spicy and oil which being a non-Rajasthani I really liked. The gatte ki sabji is the most yummy and authentic dish. Also they have a terrace restaurant so in the evening it must be very nice although I went in noon. So if you are roaming around hawa mahal or jantar mantar or babu market then take it as the best choice for lunch or dinner.
Louison
Very nice roof top, with awesome view and quite decent indian food! try the rajasthani Thali there. Prefer indian food to so-called Italian food.

Midtown Restaurant (near Sarka Suli)<br/><br/>Had the most amazing dinner at the not so explored and discovered place of Jaipur.A good place to have a dinner with your kith and kins. This place serves delicious Mexican, Italian and North Indian food.<br/>It could be a little tricky to locate this place at once but it is worth that much effort. The seating area was really comfortable as well as the staff is also very courteous.<br/><br/><br/>Pasta 😻😻<br/>Cream of tomato soup😻😻<br/>Deluxe Thali -A total bang on😻😻 Savour the taste of yummy and delicious food here.A big big big Thumbs Up👌👌👍👍

It is a good family restaurant hidden in the midst of Tripolia market. <br/><br/>Food: (4.5/5)<br/>They serve 3 cuisines : North Indian, Italian and Mexican<br/>Must try:<br/>Sizzling brownie<br/>Walking Dead Women<br/>Garlic bread with Masala<br/>Cheese Quesadilla <br/>It does not serve alcohol but has a good range of mocktails.<br/><br/>Staff/Service: (5/5)<br/>The staff is extremely gentle and courteous.<br/><br/>Ambience: (5/5)<br/>It has a rooftop and you can see central palace, jantar mantar, Hawa Mahal, hill side forts ,etc.<br/><br/><br/>At last, I would like to thank the Midtown team for a wonderful experience.
Prashant Thakkar
Very good food. You will find little difficult to find the place but worth going. Very nice food. Punjabi and Pizza are very good.  Staff is very courteous.

Situated in an unlikely neighborhood near Hawa Mahal and City Palace of Jaipur, we found this place on Zomato and had a hard time believing the map directions leading to it because of the surroundings.<br/><br/>Anyhow, the variety of cuisine available at this place is its USP: Indian, Italian and Mexican.<br/>We ordered: Rajasthani Thali - great taste and quantity<br/>Vodka Pizza - Unfortunately they didn't have the liquor permissions at that time but the pizza even w/o the liquor is good (it was basically a pineapple jalapeno and tomato cheese pizza)<br/>Golden Scream Mocktail - Orange juice with Vanilla icecream float and topped with chocolate dust<br/>Somewhat different but tasted cool...try it if you like different mocktails...<br/>Staff is nice and helpful...service is prompt.<br/><br/>Overall had a great family lunch!
Uttam Kalika
located 1km away from hawa mahal...great place...service great...mini meal is real deal...for single traveler like me...a must visit place...
Divyesh Kalbhor
We were at Jantar Mantar and we searched for nearby restaurants. Zomato suggested this place and we visited!<br/><br/>Ambiance - 4.5<br/>Food - 4.5<br/>Service - 4.5<br/><br/>The place is located on the busy road and might not be visible even if you pass by the board multiple times.<br/>It is located in a tiny lane which has a lift that takes us to the restaurant.<br/><br/>The service was really good and the attendants knew about the menu. We tried some Rajasthani dishes too and they were just awesome.<br/><br/>One issue I found there was washroom. Now after visiting many places in Jaipur, you would expect a restaurant like this to have a decent washroom but it has a small space next to reception which they call washroom.<br/><br/>A must visit if you are in that area roaming around jantar mantar or hawa mahal.
Amit Rajawat
A worthy experience after crossing a dingy lane on the pink city market.. On an afternoon when everyone was crying for cash of lower denominations.. Food was exceptionally delicious which included paneer Angara ( waiter's suggestion, not included in menu ).it was worth the wait and the price..would also be eager to try roof top ambience of the restaurant..
Anju Junu
Was a bit difficult to find using Google map, but food was amazing! Had mini meal which was filling and tasty. Don't judge the place by the location or route. Will visit again :-)
Priya Varma
Got superb food almost at midnight.<br/>Really great family restaurant.<br/>Price, taste and service is also good. Can say that It was a random shot which hit the bull's eye.
Jaya Ganesh
awesome food ... price is decent .. had a great lunch wit my family ... the place to get into this hotel is very bad .. but the restaurant looks good . worth the money .
Sukriti Agnihotri
One of the best food places in Jaipur Pink city. Loved the Navratan Korma here! The Ambience is also pretty good and service is quick. The staff seemed non intrusive and it was a good place to sit in after the noisy streets of pink city main market.
Neeraj Tomar | The Food Engineer
Situated at such a crowded place no one can imagine a place like this there to have food. Ordered a rajasthani thali & not disappointed. Actually you can not judge a traditional thalis taste because it may be delicious for someone and pathetic to other as it is according to your taste. But yes you can judge its quality and presentation of food.<br/><br/>Taste : 3.5/5<br/>Quality : 3.5/5<br/>Presentation: 2/5<br/>Ambiance : 3/5<br/>Cooling : 2/5<br/>Missi roti : 4.5/5
Satyadeep Karnati
Don't judge the book by it's cover! We were looking for a cool and peaceful place amidst the hot and chaotic pink city and midtown didn't disappoint us.<br/>Amazing place with great food and ambience in the middle of the pink city.
Naveen
Wonderful experience, nice and tasty food. Loved the ambience. It's our first visit to Jaipur. Was just searching good rated restaurant near by pink city. One the best food i had tasted here in Mid Town. Love to recommend my friends also to visit this multi cuisine restaurant during jaipur visit. Good to order thali. Tastes really good.
Aman
Lot of varieties and delicious food. Quality and service was very good under a very reasonable rate. I think they need a lot of advertising as there are very few customers here
Nand Gopal
Went for Rajasthani thali and it was very satisfying experience. Missi roti was well made, not hard not too soft. <br/><br/>The curries were delicious and rich. Would definitely visit again.
Prateek Gulati
On our trip to Jaipur, stumbled upon this place after seeing it's 3.9 rating on zomato.<br/>The staff was cultured and sophisticated.<br/>Their wood fired special pizza was scrummy.<br/>We had some North Indian food as well as a Rajasthani thali.<br/>In the end, just to taste some Italian, we had barbaresca penne.<br/>Food was luscious and scrumptious.<br/>The instrumental classics added the charm.<br/>We could not expect so much at this price<br/>Was a bit confused why they had few people on a Saturday night.<br/>Had a great time after an exhausted day. Definitely recommended.
Bhandari.disha
The place is highly rated but it is not worth it. I followed the rating and zomato and visited the place for a decent lunch. We ordered for soups, they tasted horrible. The place was unhygienic, the plates had oil stains. It is not a 4-star rated place!
Jinal Chheda
Restaurant hidden in the crowded Tripolia bazar. ordered Rajasthani thali and their deluxe thali (north indian). Food was hot and sumptuous. Was a little disappointed with the number of dishes offered in their Thalis. A bowl of jeera rice in Rajasthani thali but the accompaniment is missing. When asked the staff, they said you can have it with gatta kadhi. Ya right!<br/>Gatta kadhi and ker sangri was terrible. The other 2 subji was good but didn't have the Rajasthani touch to it. It tasted more like the Punjabi dishes.<br/>All in all some of their offerings were good while some completely Nahhhhh!
Maulik Thakkar
Nowhere is it mentioned that no service is available between 1100 and 1230 given that no food is cooked then. English language skills lacking in front of house.
Durgesh Tamhane
Went here following the reviews. <br/>The waiter was unaware of what was on the menu. Most of the things mentioned on it were unavailable. <br/>Cream of vegetable soup and a pasta dish is what I ended up ordering. <br/>Both were colossal failures. <br/>While the rooftop ambiance makes it quite an interesting place to have dinner, but the food, at least that which I ordered negates whatever expectations you previously held. <br/><br/>I suppose, try anything but the Italian cuisine from the menu.
PANKAJ KUMAR
A perfect place of enjoying the taste of home and the hands of Mom.Midtown is the perfect location of Jaipur exact is in midtown of Jaipur. Chinese and Italian food is perfect range and the yearly membership card is the best thought and save money for customers. Thanks a lot for great services.

“Great food at very reasonable price”<br/>Delicious food. Great rooftop space and heritage view (Sarkasuli, Garh Ganesh and Narhargarh etc). Nice music. Friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend Midtown Multi-Cuisine Restaurant.
Sneha Singh
Midtown café had been bookmarked by me for a small party but that did not happen. On a day out with my gurlies I decided to come to this place for a lunch. We had in mind a visit to Jaigarh or Nahargarh, and I wanted to surprise my friends with a view of Nahargarh from this place as a preview.<br/><br/>This restaurant is situated on third floor but no worries as there is a lift to carry you there. Thereafter there are two levels, one inside seating with 7 to 8 tables at max but the their main attraction is their roof top seating. There is a thatch structure in one corner that helps during sunlight hours when it is hot. They haven’t done much in terms of aesthetics but the view of Sargasuli, Gadh Ganesh and Nahargarh is amazing and the day we visited there was slight breeze and we enjoyed.<br/><br/>Now the part which miffed me a lot…They have quite an extensive Menu with several cuisines on offer and as starter we wanted to order Mexican, but our server told us that it was not available during that time, so I indicated something from Italian, again a no. So I asked what was available and he informed Indian, Pizzas and few other items.<br/><br/>I can understand that whole menu may not be available at all hours of the day, however it must be mentioned within the menu the detailed times for all dishes so that patrons don’t have to go through any heartache after setting their heart on some dish. And this is not something huge to be asked as many establishments do this.<br/><br/>So we decided on Indian and ordered:<br/><br/>Sweet Lime Juice: Well tasted fresh and sweet and salt balance was nice exactly how I had requested (Though server had replied "Dekhte hain ho payega ya nahi"; so overlooking this :) )…<br/><br/>Paneer Tikka: As a Starter, this is an evergreen dish…The Cottage Cheese was very soft, vegetables were crispy and marinade was very flavourful…Loved it!!<br/><br/>Vegetable Jalfrazi: This is ‘semi-dry Indian recipe with a mix of vegetables cooked in a tomato-based gravy’…we know that mix veg can be made in numerous ways and one of the most popular preparation is this and though the vegetables were not that crunchy as much I had liked but they have done justice to this dish with very nice balance of spices, gravy and sweet-sour peppers.<br/><br/>Dal Makhni: Lusciously yummy…Sinfully tasty…yummm….Due to cold breeze the items get cold earlier than inside, so consume fast ☺<br/><br/>Tandoori Roti: Nicely prepared, no uncooked or burnt corners.. <br/><br/>As for service, it was a tad slow even when there were not that many patrons..so that needs to be improved.<br/><br/>Though the prices are reasonable, another issue was that after a long time I saw a restaurant charging Water Bottle at a price higher than the print price on the bottle and then there is a tax over that also. I asked the server to resolve it with management but he requested me to talk to the in-charge. They heard me quite patiently on the issue of General and Commercial use bottles where print value for example may be 15/- for one and 35/- for another, respectively and how in the latter the establishment owners are charged tax by means of increased price and water quality standard may also differ. So, if they had paid only 15/- for a bottle how they cannot charge 35/-. However, I don’t know that they have done something about it or not. And as if I had let a cat out of the bag I have observed it at few other establishments also…As such varying number of taxes has made patrons quite confused, over that this practice is not good.<br/><br/>My final ratings for this place are:<br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/>Service: 3.5/5<br/>Food and Drinks: 4.5/5<br/>VFM: 4/5<br/><br/>Thus, it shows that good ole food is the reason ‘FOOD’ Industry runs and it can overshadow some other areas of lacunae but that does not mean that improvements need not be carried out! So I will need a revisit to form a final opinion...

They serves amazing food. Location is amazing. Right center of the markets. Service is little slow but very humble. They customise the food in an awesome say. One can get their food customise in an awesome way. They give there full time to understand your taste and suggest and customise the food amazingly. Being a Delhiite I loved the way the asked them to spice up but pasta. They did a wonderful job. Keep it up people.!

Very good value for money for the food they serve! I was there with my family on a Saturday evening. We had ordered pasta with white sauce, paneer lababdar, malai kofta, naan, gulab jamun and garlic chutney. Everything was amazing and the service was also very good. On top of all that, we paid so little! Highly recommended.

Worst food please do not visit this restaurant as the food is unhygienic because all our family members are suffering from loose motion and womitting. There was hair in food and when we had complained about it they just told its by mistake. I don't know why people have given such ratings. Please don't visit as its a waste of money and health.

Was excited to hear about a new restaurant within walled city so planned to visit it on Sunday evening. Easily located however parking could be real pain. It has both normal seating & roof top arrangements.<br/><br/>Coming to food both visually & in taste the food was delicious kudos to chef's. They do serve a lot of well prepared & presented cuisines. Shame we were unable to try Italian & Mexican due to unavailability.<br/><br/>The service was not at all good however atleast the manager & owner did accepted their mistake & doesn't simply making excuses. Hoping to try other cuisines next time & a much better service as well.<br/><br/>Overall very nice however I'll hold my recommendation until my next visit.

At the occasion of Bhai Dooj, we were browsing over zomato to try out a new place. It was then that we zeroed down on Mid Town. Located at the epicenter of the city with amazing Sargasuli view from right their rooftop. The menu was wide ranging and tempting. The food served was delightful and the best thin crust pizza I've had.<br/>Ambience at the roof top was peaceful with traditional touch of Rajasthan. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Wonderful place that ought not to be missed. <br/><br/>Updated:<br/>Slow Service

The menu is very detailed but the taste is very poor. Not up to the mark. I ordered Italian food for home delivery. The pizza was cold before i even started eating & the pasta was too spicy to eat. Very very disgraceful.

To my surprise, it was new outlet. All deserted. I was little afraid about food quality. They took time but what they served was awesome. Good service and tasty food. I would certainly recommend.

Guys....don't ever plan to visit this restaurant. This is one of the most horrible restaurants I have ever seen. I went there to celebrate my son's 18th Birthday on 16th Oct. Apart from WORST FOOD QUALITY, there wer many things which no one will accept.<br/><br/>1. The plates there had OIL STAINS and it seemed that they were not washed properly. One of the plates were cracked.<br/><br/>2. The cloth napkins were horrible. They changed the napkins twice upon our complaint but I could not find a single one without stains. All of them were not stitched properly and the threads were coming out. They all looked like a DUSTING CLOTH.<br/><br/>3. I ordered Pizzas there and can you imagine that Tomato Ketchup/sauce was served after reminding them thrice and that too after we had finished 3 Pizzas out of total 5 we ordered. Moreover, ketchup was served in a "small katori" with a spoon.<br/><br/>4. The waiters there know nothing about the menu. I ordered for Lasagne and he asked me "what's that". They have Lasagne in their menu. I was oredering him the dishes I wanted and he asked to give the codes (codes on menu card) to take the order. The waiters don't know how to write a ordered dish.<br/><br/>5. This is the only restaurant where I found oil dripping out from a pizza.<br/><br/>6. The gravy of Indian vegetables like Paneer and Malai Kofta were stale. The Dal had a bad smell. Forget about the taste.<br/><br/>7. The waiters don;t know what "Red Sauce Pasta" or "White sauce Pasta" mean.<br/><br/>8. The Tandoori rotis were half cooked.9. There were red ants inside the napkins.<br/><br/>9. Upon complaining on all this, a guy there had a very funny excuse "sir we were not prepared/ready to serve a group of 14 people". We were in group of 14. Is this such a BIG group ?<br/><br/>10. The ONLY thing I liked or good about the place is Water, which was as cold as I liked.<br/><br/>The management there is hopeless and have no shame. I did not go there for some discount but after all this they should have offered me a good discount as a part of being sorry.<br/><br/>So guys, PLEASE don't spoil your celebration, fun mood, evening and AVOID going to this place.<br/><br/>Better go to a Roadside Dhaba, atleast they are prepared/ready to serve a group of 14 guests.

Very bad experience .. I waited for more than an hour for starter (tandoori platter) and that was also half cooked .. And also don't even try mocktails .. It was pathetic<br/>I tried only indian food .. And my experience was really very bad<br/>Only thing i liked in indian here is dal makhani<br/>

Nice place to have a perfect food . rooftop has a view to nargarh fort. Lovely food . too many variants to try with. Inspite being in city area, place lives upto the high expectations in all parameters. Must visit . would love to try Italian and mexican on my next visit.

Read some zomato reviews for a good place to have dinner, after the recommendation of our driver backfired in the afternoon. <br/><br/>Trust that this restaurant lives upto its good ratings that it has got.<br/><br/>It is a fully veg restaurant with pretty good Italian variety on offer. We ordered two pizzas and a pasta based on the recommendation of the friendly waiter and whatever we had was really good. <br/><br/>My sister who stays in California said that the pizza was at par with international standards. <br/><br/>The rooftop ambience added to the feel while the staff was very courteous and ready to help, offering suggestions where we were struggling to find what to order. <br/><br/>And guess what, the pricing was the icing on the cake. We were 6 people and ate our heart out , but the bill that came was a mere 1200 bucks. Thats really value for money! More than that maybe....

Simply AWESOME.....one can not expect that much in such reasonable price. If you are looking for a complete meal, Midtown Special Thali is best one to choose. You should give it a try. Maxican and Italian is just awesome. Specially Burn Wood Pizza....Loved it..!!<br/>Will definitely go there as soon as possible.

Magnifique!!... First time in Jaipur, found this place and thought "why not ? menu looks scrumptious and they have a rooftop"<br/>We ordered Italian sorte of antipasti...which was simply fabulous, perfect pesto and crispy bread.<br/>Then we went royal and ordered the rajasthani thali which proved to be even better. Our meal was washed down with a couple of brilliantly mixed juices. The vanilla infusion with strawberry was impeccable.<br/>This place requires more ratings than it shows here on zomato.

It was a bit difficult to find it, but it was worth the effort. The staff was overly kind, and the food was delicious. You could see the kitchen through a glass, and observe how your meal was being prepared. The decoration is nice, and it even has a rooftop. Totally recommended!

Food was simply awesome. Everything from indian cusine to Italian tasted nice and everything was fresh. Service is also good. Ambiance is nice and roof top is also nice

So directly coming to the point, the food is good, given the locality ambience is pretty decent with free WiFi:D.<br/>As far as our order we ordered paneer tikka masala ,aloo chana and dal tadka .<br/>All of them were pretty good and the service was also fast .<br/>Overall you can try this if nearby .:D

Found about this place through zomato's *trenidng this week* column and was suprised when i saw the location, opposite to sarkasuli since fond of lalaji patashi we might have crossed this restuarant 'n' number of times but never noticed it.<br/>So its said that people makes the place. I know i should have written about food first but what left imprint on me more than food was their stewardship.<br/>Too helpin too polite...since we chose rooftop all the seats were occupied still they laid proper table for us and were wearing broad smile all the way!!<br/>Coming to food...<br/>We ordered mix items soups, mushroom masala ,tawa panner, navratan khorma...every item was well coooked and tasted good but yes white pasta was really mouth watering so dont miss it.<br/>servings were sufficicient and food was fairly priced in fact i will say it was cheap bargain when compared to food quality and portion served.<br/>For 10 peoples we paid 2900 bucks!!<br/><br/>Even the apologized saying we could give you better service but today we were little understaffed so i just wonder what level of hospitality they want to offer.<br/><br/>Just little bit of more publicity and this place will rock!!<br/>Just 1 drawback_location..rest everthing amazing!!<br/>so i would recommend this place for sure...yummy plus in budget

Anikesh Sethi
Well it won't be wrong to say that food is just amazing. Woodburn Pizza's in fact whatever we ordered was just amazing. Good staff and chef. Highly recommended if ambience is not a very big concern.

We came here to eat breakfast and were a little early (they open at 11), this was no problem as we were allowed to sit and wait on the rooftop. <br/><br/>The people were nice, the food was absolutely amazing. Great taste, great menu, would absolutely recommend. Delicious!

Went to this place on a friends recommendation. I was somewhat confused to go to a restaurant in city that too in overcrowded Tripolia bazaar but finally went. Yes the parking in city is an issue but the staff helps you in case of trouble.<br/><br/>When we entered the place, it was a real surprise to see such a fine dining place in walled city. Its a 2 floor restaurant with fine dine on 3rd floor and a nice rooftop above it with mesmerizing view of Sargasuli and Nahargarh in the backdrop.<br/><br/>The ambiance of fine dining is also good with live kitchen adding to the experience.<br/><br/>Thats all on the place, now to food.<br/><br/>We ordered mix things from the menu to taste the variety they had to offer. Some key dishes not to miss when you go there are:<br/><br/>White Pasta - Too good and probably for me the best in Jaipur<br/><br/>Spinach cheesy Dip - Truely amazing fondue served with bread crumbs<br/><br/>Honey chilli potato was also good<br/><br/>The best thing was thin crust veg Pizza, really mouth watering and tasty.<br/><br/>In Indian food - we tried Paneer tikka which too had goodness all over it.<br/><br/>Coming to service, yes they have kept it up to the mark, fast service with courteous staff always smiling. That is actually what makes or breaks your experience and this time it made up our experience.<br/><br/>Now finally to the hole in Pocket - The cheapest food I have eaten in Jaipur with such quality, ambiance and service. Its true more than value for money.<br/><br/>A must visit if you are in Jaipur<br/><br/>The great part was that post having lunch for nearly 2 hours with chit chat, kids wanted to enjoy kite flying and staff was so courteous to allow us the same till we were drained and they kept us serving for all our pitty needs. This was the best thing from them

Just awesome , ambience is also great , service is also very good, food is awesome. Went yesterday with family , I found it to be a great place, in fact there is no other place in walled city with such a huge menu and reasonable price. Gone are the days of LMBs . Starters are too good , honey chilly potato is just out of this world.<br/>A must place to visit for all. That day is not far when this place will be a most visited restaurant for its customers. Full marks to the midtown team and giving us a great option in the walled city .

Located in heart of city ie Tripolia bazaar just opposite to Sargasuli/IshwarLat, <br/>very near to City palace and Hawamahal, <br/>Midtown offers a fine dining place in wall city. Being situated on the third as well as forth floor, Patrons can experience the fine dining along with glass through live kitchen as well as can taste the exotic delicacy of Italy on the roof top on a windy cloudy evening with mesmerizing view of Sargasuli/Iswarlat and Nahargarh in the backdrop. Dressed in simple chic manner, the restaurant brings out the soul of Royal Jaipur in its attire.<br/><br/>The menu is well versed with tastes from domestic as well as international regions. One can satiate the carving for Italian and Mexican delicades here. Pasta is one to die for Rajasthani food and dishes from north Indian is also a part of electric menu. The dishes are priced fairly and won’t burn a hole in client’s pocket. If one is looking for a place to enjoy the acute foreign dish, Midtown is the place that you are seeking . Complimentary WI-FI facility for guests is available. <br/><br/>Any type of event can be organised at Midtown. Midtown is having the capacity of @70 Persons in AC Hall and @ 150 Persons on roof top decorated with village look like bamboos along with lanterns.<br/><br/>Apart from above Midtown offers facilities at your door steps also - home/Shop/Office delivery without any extra charges . Midtown is having a excellent experience in outside catering also
