Review Lassiwala - Jaipur

Chinnu S Kumar
I stumbled upon Lassiwala Kishan Lal Govind Narain Agarwal while searching for reviews for Niros in Jaipur. Many of the reviews for Niros recommended trying lassi from here instead of having dessert at Niros. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try, and it didn't disappoint. The lassi was everything that the hype had built it up to be - rich, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. It was a perfect substitute for a dessert from Niros. I would advise being mindful to visit the oldest shop, as indicated by the board outside, to ensure an authentic experience. The lassi from Lassiwala Kishan Lal Govind Narain Agarwal was simply delicious, and it's definitely worth a visit for anyone in the area.

This place gets a 5-star not just for the lassi, but for the quick service, hygienically maintained shop/surroundings and the people managing it. The lassi was so irresistibly delicious that we had to come back the next day for more. Make sure to read the board - Since "1944". That's the one - so that you drink your huge kulhad of happiness topped with thick malai from the right place ! And head there before 3 pm.

Lassiwala is one of the famous shops in Jaipur. We ordered kesar lassi(which was yummy), mango lassi(was okay) and normal curd lassi (yummiest). We also had chole bhature, which was amazing. They also have aloo tikki, kachori etcDo visit this place once when in Jaipur.
Avjot Ghai
This is my familia's favourite place to go. This place somehow binds us. Every Sunday morning we decide on our breakfast place while gulping down their delicious Lassi. The best part: They have maintained the same taste for the last 25 years. Impeccable taste Hospitable team. Beautiful Nostalgia! Absolutely Perfect!

Realistically (keeping the hype aside), you can expect very good tasting sweet Lassi that is a medium-large portion size hence quite filling. Should keep you fueled for a few hours as you go on around exploring Jaipur. Try to go earlier in the day as they run out by 2-3pm usually.

Located in the heart of the city this place is a must try lassi place. The taste of lassi is heavenly and they are generally out of stock by 3 PM. As there are many shops named Lassiwala, make sure you go to 312 number, cause trust me the taste of all the other lassi shops are not the same.
Ccc
Ordered both sweet and non-sweet lassi (40 rupees each for small size, 80 rupees for big size). The sweet one was well-balanced (not over sweet like the lassi in the shop next door). The non-sweet lassi tasted like regular yoghurt drink. Just remember to come earlier cos they close early.. before 16:30

One of the best place for lassi in jaipur If you're looking for a taste of authentic Rajasthan, Lassiwala Jaipur is the place to be. Their lassi is the perfect blend of sweetness and tanginess, with a rich texture that leaves you craving for more. The ambiance is traditional, and the service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend a visit to Lassiwala Jaipur!

Quick service, delicious lassi that can be customized to have less sugar which was a win for the older members in the group!

I had the normal lassi here Experience of drinking it in a mullahs was very nice. It was fresh and tasty.

This place has the best lassi in whole Jaipur. It tastes damn good. They use kulhad glasses for lassi so there is a big NO to plastic cups here. Crowd is good too, both friends and families visit the place. And the person who stands outside the shop to make sure vehicles are parked properly was so polite and was so nice. The people working there are really good.

You need to be a real connoisseur to identify the original shop, their shop no is 312!

Been to this famous place for lassi and I must say I loved it completely.

Being a person who don't eat curd and had only 1 or 2 lassi till now, I finished the entire glass of goodness here !

Perfect consistency of lassi, less sweetened, and served in a huge kullhad, they change 60 bucks for large glass and 30 for the small one

Must visit when in Jaipur!

Kishan Lal Govind Narain Agarwal Lassiwala is located at MI road, near Rajmandir cinema. There are many lassi shops nearby, so you should remember shop no 312. They serve lassi in kulhad which undoubtedly enhance the taste. You can either order big one or small depends on your appetite. This legendary place is running successfully since 1944. So don't miss this place if you visit Rajmandir cinema.

Overhyped... Okay types... Rs. 60 for a large lassi... Can't say it was worth it but not bad... Okay... One time you can try... Google is very very misleading!
The Walking Glutton
Oh this amazing Lassi! Texture, taste, thickness - what more do you need in life!
It's little difficult to find when you're new in town, but you will find it by noticing the crowd in there...

You need to be a connoisseur to identify the real Lassiwala.

There are dozens that go by the same name. All you need to remember is 312. That's the shop number which serves the authentic lassi, all others are imitators.

First sip and you know you delved into a heavenly experience. The malai layer on top is the additional delight. Nothing to match the taste.

Must try, when in Jaipur. Whatever be the weather.
Umesh Raut
One more famous place you must add in your Jaipur itinerary. These days are very hot in this region and getting such lassi rejuvenate your soul.

On my last trip to Jaipur, a friend took me to this amazing lassi shop. We visited the shop at 7 am,all the streets leading to the store being empty saving us from heavy rush , we were able to interact with the owner. The lassi was delicious and priced decently.
The uncle serving us was very welcoming and warm reminding us of the amazing hospitality that Rajasthan is famous for.
The utensils in which the lassi was served were “mitti” based glasses which are biodegradable and eco friendly. This initiative is commendable and appreciated. The lassi is served with delicious malai, isn’t too sweet and has a very balanced taste.
Must visit when in jaipur!!!

They serve the best lassi in town. If you are in Jaipur you have to try it.
They also have a sugar free lassi option.

Service is really fast.
How is it possible on earth that you can get so popular just by selling one Drink LASSI !!!
Super crazy place.

Went there first day and thought it’s just a hype people are rolling but really like the way it was served.

Went there on second day at around 4:00 pm and it was closed saying that they have finished everything and this happens a every day. The shop literally goes down because they have to get ready for next day.

As soon as they close the competitions around open and serves similar Lassi but then they are still the best.

Well this place at MI Road in Jaipur is a well known name. They serve amazingly delicious and fresh Lassi in Kullhad.

There are many lassiwalas at MI Road but don't get confused as they are indeed the original ones with the "black" board.

Visiting them since childhood and still they have the same taste and freshness.
Kajal Vidhani
Lassiwalas is really famous in Jaipur. And why won't they be? They serve word class lassis and I can have it everyday! The service is really fast. I love it. ⭐

Wow 😯! The crowd at this shop in the morning and afternoon time on MI road will surely draw your attention to the place and the jam of cars would make u realise the love for lassi people have for this place . That’s what made me stop at this place and have a glass made from mud to have my lassi in and enjoy the experience.
The taste is good and plenty of options to choose from .
Quick stopover to satisfy your taste buds and enjoy the thandi lassi , don’t miss out this lassiwala when in Jaipur .
I generally don’t drink sweet lassi but hearing a log about this place in my trip to Jaipur. Ended up with this place and I completed the whole kullaad in one go. Made fresh next to your eyes the way your grandma made.. creamy

For us, Lassi is one of the best products which can be made from 'Milk'. And it's one our our all time Ifavourite 'Desi Beverage'.

We can have Lassi all day during Summer time, as it's give a kind of refreshment inside our body. We have tried Lassi from many places in Jaipur, but this place has some different thing, which increase this place's value.

Well we wanted to review this place since long time, but didn't got chance to do it, now finally we are reviewing it.

This place is located nearby to Paanch Batti Chauraha, M.I. Road, Jaipur. There 2-3 more Lassis wala nearby to it, but this one is best among all. They are serving Lassi since long time.

The popularity of this place can be seen from the crownd gather there. Indians totally like Lassi, but we have seen many Foreigners also enjoying Lassi here.

They serve Lassi in Kulhads, they have two Kulhad sizes; one is big and another one is small.
.
.
▶Value for Money : 4/5

▶Taste : 4/5

🔷Over All : 4/5
If you guys are looking for a best Lassi joint in Jaipur, then this is the one.

It's one of the best lassi that I have had. There are some great lassi places in Amritsar and Delhi and this place ranks among them. The quantity of the big lassi can be heavy for some people but to me it was perfect and the malai on the top was simply the superb added touch. They open very early and are sold out by 2pm, so plan ur visit accordingly.
Yogita
I was told this is one of the best places for lassi in Jaipur and they are sold out by 1.30pm.so we really had to rush there to get our share.
The lassi was mild, not too sweet and the malai just slipped through our mouth.
Their packing is excellent in earthern cups and also the takeaway is done well.
Locals and tourists flock this place. With ₹50 for a large and ₹30 for a small cup, it surely is a steal.

In Jaipur, one can find a variety of Lassi walas, but this shop #312 Lassiwala beats them all and have the best taste in town. Situated over MI Road, the prime location of Jaipur, prepares the lassi in front of you with freshly churned Malai. Best way to beat the heat in Jaipur is try out the Lassi from this shop witha layer of Malai on top.
Devik Singh
If I have to cover entire Jaipur’s famous and authentic places to eat, then this is also one amongst them. There are many lassi Wala on MI Road now, but this is the oldest and the authentic and the best one. Superb kulhad wali lassi - available round the year and do not miss that malai layer on top of your lassi which makes it super yummy!

This place was on the recommended list in every website and thus i ended up getting a taste of it after a long day at Amer Fort.

I was surprised to see that they serve in Matka (Clay) Glass which is Non-Reusable. The quantity was a lot for a person.

Ps. Never drink a lassi after a soaking hot roam in the sun.

This place is a must visit for foodie, who love food🍽️.
So finally Jaipur trip came to an end, yesterday we went during afternoon after having lunch to try the famous lassiwala in Jaipur.
Worth a visit, taste was great and little bit crowded but the quantity was less, I think.
For the price they charge, quantity can be increased.
They offer both sweet and salty lassi in small and large kullhad glasses.

Gaurav Chawla
undoubtedly the best lassiwala in jaipur...conveniently located right on M.I. road....the lassi is served in earthen glasses...it greatly enhances the taste...the lassi is just perfect not too thick and not too thin...with a dollop of alai on the top...bliss...

Although the place is doing extremely well and the lassi was delicious but the real disappointment was the quantity they were serving as even the big lassi was not even the small lassi being served at other places.

The oldest, the best and the authentic one is 312 lassiwala at MI ROAD. Loved its taste and thickness. Though i feel its thickness has been reduced within 2 years but still whenever i want lassi, i visit this place only.
Arpit
The oldest lassi place in Jaipur which was recommended to me by a friend. They have two varieties sweet and savoury and both of them are amazing which is not too too heavy. Much recommended.

Not many places have the distinction of keeping their standards the same for years but this place does hold the title! They can never go wrong with their lassi and rightfully hold the crown in that department. Infallibly refreshing and overtly satiating, this lassi is a must-have when in Jaipur.

Fantastic Lassi served in a kullad here. Tried salted and sweet lassi both. Both were authentic which tasted to perfection. The malai on top of the lassi is just incredible. I visit this place every time I come to Jaipur.

This place will always be buzzing with customers no matter what time of the day you go. After tasting it, you'll come to know why.

Highly recommended.

Great taste and purity..just loved it through out my stay at imperial hotel!

Large glass of Lassi is average quantity could have been improved to make it value for money featured :-)

Bhaiyo kahani yeh hai ki yaha ki lassi hai lajwaab. It's better than Gian's lassi in Amritsar. Available in small and large cups, this place is on the radar of every shopper. It's closes at 4pm so ya to lassi peekar shopping karo or wapas aao, lassi peyo and phir shopping karo. Will visit again if I'm in Jaipur.

Our experience with kishan Lal lassiwala was average, not so very good or bad, it was over all OK
We ordered
Sweet lassi good 3/5
Salted lassi OK 2.5/5
Sagar free lassi very good 3.5/5

I think they also add water or lots of ice in sweet lassi and salted lassi, sagar free lassi was thick enough then both of lassi

I am glad i did my research before going to Jaipur.
This lassi is a must try.
It is one of the best lassi's I have ever tried.
It so fresh, creamy and tastes heavenly.

There are some things in life that never change and shouldnt change. This guy i think starts around 11 am and winds up at 4 pm because his yogurt is finished no matter how much he gets . I have seen a lot of foreigners enjoying his sweet lassi.
one sentence about it is that once you drink their hand made lassi you will never like it anywhere else in the world.
Price is Rs 50 per glass for medium and service is faster than Macdonalds.
Please dont get confused with other shops that are right next to it. They will come begging to you to place your order with them. The difference between them and him is when his stuff is finished than they start selling theirs.
Swexchasharma
This place was suggested by my local Jaipur friend and I know I am not a big fan of Lassi but now I have become one, all thanks to Lassiwala. I think the plain lassi is the best lassi I have ever had and If I am in Jaipur again the first thing in my list is to have the lassi 👍🏻
Sakshi Kapur
I am happy that I could visit this place after many attempts and it was all worth while! As the name suggests this place is famous for its lassis.Served in earned glasses (commonly called Kulhads), this is a freshly churned milk based drink, with a dollop of malai on top.Its mildly sweet and usually had with kachoris in Jaipur. Oh and it is important to have it in the right way-mix the malai with lassi and drink it one go! Incase you are not sure-they do two sizes small and large.
PS-I am still bent towards the lassis they do in Punjab, with dry fruits and a little extra sweet 😜
Parikshit Dhodapkar
No need of a long review. They sell only 1 item i.e. Lassi and it was the best I've ever had! All this after the first two sentences is there only to fulfill the minimum 140 characters limit of zomato review! ;)

I had visited Amritsar some time back and had their famous lassi from a very popular shop and I must say that Lassi at Lassiwala in Jaipur is at par with the Amritsar lassi. It is topped with generous amount of malai, consistency is thick and sweetness in right amount. They serve lassi in kulhad. Do try when in Jaipur. Beware of the copy cats!

Jaipur visits are not complete without the famous Lassi from the lassiwala at M.I .road .
The Lassi served at Lassiwala's is thick and pleasantly sweet . Perfectly whipped fresh curd, topped with rich cream makes it enticingly delicious.

I would have visited this outlet after about 20years or so and the Lassi I had tasted at that time, it’s taste was still etched in my mind. We ordered two small glasses (didn’t want to kill our appetite for lunch). In couple of minutes we were handed over two earthen glasses (glass shaped Kullhars). A white milky lassi was topped up with Malai which had a saffron tinge to it. One sip and both of us were unstoppable. The Malai on the top was thick, creamy and flavourful. The consistency of lassi was just right, not very thick not watery. It was cold yet not chilled (had no ice cubes). It was sweet yet not very sweet. While sipping, the flavour of fresh curd blended with the earthen glass which gave you a refreshing taste. In fact, it was a perfect prologue to the lunch. The lassi that I had almost 20 years ago here tasted the same even today. Both of us were feeling great and repented that we couldn’t have the larger glass. Anyways, there is always a next time. #MagicofFlavours

Si finally got the time to review this place too. Have been here many times. The lassi is just Ok, nothing special about it. The only thing is that they dont spice it up with other things like mango, kasar or artificial colors. So if you want some natural and thick taste of lassi this the the place for you.
The Insatiable Foodie
While I was in Jaipur, this place got me hooked. Serving the Lassi in Kullhad definitely enhanced the taste. I was fortunate enough as my colleague from office was generous to have it packed us in last 4 days of my stay. The Lassi is thick , with layers of Malai and the perfect sweetness. Scraping the Kullhad was also fun.

Morning Walk ended up in the famous lassi Wala.
It was really refreshing and absolutely fresh. Loved having lassi in kulhad. Worth every bit of it. It opens pretty early that adds to it's aura. Was asked by my host to hold some space during lunch to savour this lassi. Must say was not disappointed. The place has an old world charm. Efficient and warm... u could see people flocking to get a khullad before it all ends just after mid-day.

We were lucky that we were amongst the last 20 odd glasses. Didn't even get a chance to ask for a second helping. The lassi itself is simple... fair amount of cream on top and no garnishing. I prefer it this way... traditional and soothing. Must say... definitely a MUST VISIT.
Thefoodiepanda
The best and most famous lassi in Jaipur! It's simply so creamy and heavy. The fresh taste of the lassi will compel you to have more of it. Heavy enough to keep you full for an hour or so, it's the perfect option to beat the heat in summers.
Vipul Prakash Bhardwaj
One of the oldest shop to serve a very native cooler in scorching heat of Rajasthan. The lassi was okiesh and had nothing to die for. It was just a plain sweet lassi. Frankly speaking i expected a bit garnishing on top and a flavour of kesar or something of that particular kind but i was deeply let down.
If you go there please dont have expectations of any kind.
Rahul Taluja
Your trip to Jaipur isn't worth it if you don't have Lassi here. Right on the MI road, you would see 4 shops serving Lassi and food. This one is the first shop and only serves Lassi, so try this.
They have customers round the clock and their lassi is easily the best I have had. Don't miss it.

The iconic Lassiwala of Jaipur.
The profound knowledge of "There is no secret ingredient" is something at work at this place.
The feeling of something being special makes it special.
The lassi you have here is pretty much the same as a lassi you'll have at a good place. Thick, fresh and loaded with malai.
The smile with which it is served, no matter how packed this little shop is, makes it way more appealing.

This is the oldest shop serving lassi and bringing smiles on the faces of especially the foodies in Jaipur.! They serve the best lassi and yes though MI Road has many lassiwalas but the taste in here, has something different.!! So, whenever there's a craving for a great lassi visit this awesome place.!😍

One of the oldest, most popular places of Jaipur serving amazing Lassi!

I used to come here a lot as a child with my parents, and I visited it again after a long long time.

This place still has the same charm!

A big glass of lassi would only cost you 50₹!
Lassiwala has made lassi a specially of Jaipur by serving such amazing lassi since 1944.
It's right on MI Road and had neighbors selling lassi to but he's the oldest here!!!
The lassi is heavenly very creamy and thick. It has the perfect balance of sweet and sourness. It's so thick that you gotta use a spoon to eat it rather then drink it and is topped with a thick layer of malai.
It's just awesome 😍😍😍
They even have sugar free lassi for people avoiding sugars!!!
It's only a take away without any sitting options and parking here is a nightmare, but the taste and cravings gets you here despite all the problems......Must try !!!

If you're a tourist and want to have the best lassi of Jaipur then this place is best to have it. Located on mi road so everyone's mid point to refuel for driving in city's traffic.😂
