Deserves a Michelin star! The best food I had in India while traveling for two weeks. So good I went twice. Order the thalis! Clean, good atmosphere, serves beer and wine, and fantastic food.

Great food. Veg and non veg. International and home local beers. Local wines too, try the Sula wine in red - best one I have tasted. Toilets clean. Lovely!

Really great food. Clean, great range on menu service is relatively fast. Tandoor is great choice. Not budget priced but still value for money.

Siddharth Mathapati
Good food and run by a very sincere gentleman. Ambience is great too. One of the few good restaurants in this part of Jaipur.

A clean and ambient restaurant in middle of the city of Jaipur. Very accessible with ample parking facilities. Very comfortable and accommodating staff. Clean and tasty good with both veg and non veg options
Pravin P
Excellent food, we ordered Chinese and Gatta Curry and all turned out super nice. All hygiene factors (covid +) are considered, they have enough parking place. Mineral water is also available. Staff are friendly and their services are very prompt. It won't pinch your pocket. Ended with thoughtful satches of mouth freshner.

Yums! Somehow there’s something magical about Biryani in India, and lassi in India. The ones I had in this restaurant won my palates. Great service, comfortable dining area and quite an array of choices to food.
Marie Turner
Huge portions very yummy and a tiny bit of spice as requested🥰

Good place. It was very clean and nice. The tables were big and chairs comfy. Pretty modern too. The service was average, and the food came quickly. We had dosa and idli. The dosa was pretty good but the idli was not great. It was really crumbly and didn't taste right. I definitely recommend having Kheema Paratha. It had a really good taste and was filled with tasty chicken. I loved it so much that I ate half of it when I was full. The price was good. Give this place a go as there are many options and something for everybody.

Had an amazing experience. The food was really tasty and quantity was also sufficient. Best part was the service. The owner gave special interest to each and every customer and was very polite and friendly. The Handi Chicken and Laal Maans is a must try. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

I really enjoyed the ambiance, the service was way above any expectations I had. The food was really good, totally authentic flavor. A very good place to visit with the family.

The food at this place is very delicious, worth it at it's price point! Their thali(s) is more than sufficient for a single person! The non-veg thali here is a must try. The butter chicken tastes so good, and the egg curry is full of flavours included in the non veg thali! Lastly the sweets are so good! Great ambiance and great service indeed! #greatfood #worthit

Order was booked, then refused the order after 30 minutes, its totally unrealistic. Its not good to give order for this restaurant. Why this restaurant is listed on zometo, its deficiency of services by zometo.

Wonderful place to visit...ambience seems smoothing ... Food is too good ... friendly staff... must visit this place on the main road that goes towards jal Mahal... over all a good experience

On our way back from Amer fort we were pretty hungry so stopped at this place on suggestion by our travel guide.

This is an ok place , reflects a motel vibe because of its placement.

Ambience is old school and comfortable.
It was filled with local college going or working couples.
Service was very good and so was the food.
We ordered local cuisine and absolutely loved it.
Over all it was an ok experience.

I would rate
Food- 4/5
Ambience- 3/5
Service- 3.5/5
We visited this restaurant three times in a row, just for the amazing laal maas. They make it simply amazing - with the right amount of spices (you can even tell them how spicy you want, and they will make it accordingly). We had it with roti, missi roti, naan.

They have an extensive menu - North Indian, Rajasthani delicacies, South Indian, Chinese, Italian.
The restaurant is located in quite a central location, the ambiance is good and service friendly. This restaurant is a must-try when in Jaipur.

Rainbow is a casual dining restaurant which serves north Indian, south Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisine. Basically located at ramgarh mod, near post office, amer road, jaipur. Very simple ambience. We tried: noodle soup, paneer tikka, vegetable platter, Russian salad, veg. Biryani and shahi paneer here. Food was good in taste. I don't like their service. Very slow. Overall, for a one time experience you may visit this place.
Shubham Gaikwad
The food quality was good & taste too but the service was absolutely disgusting. If you order something it takes more than half an hour, and also the attitude of the staff towards customers is worst. Would never recommend such a place.
Adrita Banerjee/Thatfoodsciencegraduate
Good for a casual family lunch. Decor and ambience are okayish, food is good though. The service needs to be a little upgraded. Ordered for aloo paratha, egg curry, roasted papad here. Quantity was adequate.
Shubham Majhi
Tried the Prawn Manchurian and chicken tikka
Chicken tikka was good but Prawn Manchurian was not up to mark still had less salt to everything ambience was good but could be better
Rahul Tulsiani
Tried spinach Cream soup. From the first sip it was soothing. Despite its name corns and green beans are the main ingredients but still spinach have mild taste in it. Overall it's a good delight and will activate your taste buds. Restaurant has many more to explore.

A bit costly but worth to try. As we all know best things don't come for free. It is located near walking distance from Jal Mahal. Amazing and friendly staff. If you are couple or with family need a decent place then this place is for you. Ambience of this place is very good and their way of representation is charming as well.
Husna Hasi
My driver suggested me this place. By seeing the outer appareance it was more like a dhaba and inside was completely packed with tourist. We ordered bhindi masala and chicken curry with naan. The food was amazing. The quantity was also sufficient. Would like to visit again.
Vickram
okay dokay type of hotel...serves fast food, Chinese, Punjabi, South Indian....do avoid Rainbow Special Pizza....its too heavy and stuffy...Rawa Dosa, Pav Bhaji, Manjo Milkshake are good.

The worst restaurant so far of my foodie experience ordered food and waited for more then 1hr 40 min. Let's start with the place description it's a restaurant fav of guides and hired car fleet drivers so was not keen on visiting it but finally gave up my driver's over insistence but now let's come to staff it took over 30 min ju@st for the guy to reach my table once I placed the order i was just waiting and waiting and waiting and finally my friends wife patience ran out people came went and we were just waiting a simple masala tea took around 20 min. With no masala of course. By the looks of it they seem to want to cater to foreign guest only trying to reason with the hotel in charge was of no use he just did not give a dam the most unprofessional manager i have come across after a long time. My honest advice give this restaurant a miss and let them be in peace with there foreign guest. A big thumbs down.
Nishika D'Silva
We expected some great dhaba style food. The murgh malai tikka (picture attached) pieces were so tiny and burnt and dry, it looked like the remnants of a dish. The paneer tikka was completely charred in places. The butter naan we ordered has daal on the underside and little bits of tomato and onion on it. Supremely disappointing and unsatisfactory meal
Ayushi Aggarwal
Pathetic restaurant, worst rude staff I ever seen, arguing with almost every customer and no one is taking action against the staff. No food options available, they show hell lot of options in the menu but when it comes to order only 3 food items are available. Worst experience I have ever had. Would suggest everyone don’t go to the place.

This restaurant is so cool we had lunch today ...the lunch was really very tasty. ..spl dosa was so nice and all staff ware very friendly. ..we had gud friendship day. ...love to come back. ..
Well, they definitely serve good pizza for the prize they charge. Their drinks are also fine.
And they have this Ice Cream called Kesar Pista, which is amazing as well.
Overall, few nice places which is very affordable in Jaipur which serve you good food.
Spandan Samal
This place has every cuisine possible ! So this attracts the foreign tourists the most. It has Indian , American , Italian , Arabic cuisines which was well appreciated by my family. Since it is located on a real busy street, it was a bit heavy on the pockets. Almost had a chance to interview for a travel channel there, but , Alas.
Ruthambharaa T Hebbar
The Rajasthani thalli was really good, the ambience was clean and decent, the service was excellent, the waiter was smiling and explaining the varieties of food when asked. It's 1km from JalMahal, so it's a must visit for Pure Vegetarian

I see some other people had bad experiences but I can only review based on my own.

I had a cheap meal here - Rajasthan special, Lehsun Chutney. Couple of Naan and Coke. Absolutely loved it. Incredible meal. Not expensive. The waiters were ok but the main waiter had great English and was very helpful helping me order.

Downside was the drinks were not as cold as they should be. The power went out for 5 minutes half way through my meal. I also had the other half of my food thrown out without offering to take away before I had a chance to ask but that's partially my fault.
Nikhil Jain
The Place is right on Main Road and has a Parking Facility.

The restaurant has an old world fine dine feel. The Service was good.

Now lets talk about food baby.....We ordered the Rainbow Special Thali. It was value for money but taste wise wasn't something i would try again.

This can work if you are looking for an economical meal and have no other options.
Varun Bhardwaj
Worst experience
I ordered a masala dosa that was totally cold and then they replaced it with a dosa totally burnt. When I complained for the second time the waitor replied "natak kar rhe h".
Club sandwich were full of cream that were impossible to eat.
All in all bad food bad staff, never go this restaurant if you are in Jaipur.

As per Suggestion of our Driver we stopped here for lunch on our way to Nahargarh fort.. This place was packed with a lot a travellers and we Ordered Chicken Corn Soup, Lal Maas, Roti's, Jeera Rice and Rajasthani Thali..

Corn Soup lacked the taste and that was the only item that disappointed us .. Lal Maas was Great and it tasted best with both Roti and as well as Jeera Rice.. Thali was good and was sufficient enough. Liked their Flavoured Gulam Jamun which was part of Thali..

This place is suggested by our tour driver, didn't disappoint us as well. Place is full of Foreign travelers.
we ordered
Chicken Corn Soup - 3/5
Lal Maas - 4/5 (Pretty Good)
Rajasthan Thail - 4/5
Zeera Rice - 3.5/5
Butter Milk - 4/5

Overall ------
Food - 4/5
Ambiance -3.5/5
Service -4/5 (Super fast and very well trained staff)
Prices - Economy

Had the Rainbow Special Thali here for lunch , and it was really filling and delicious.
It's not an unlimited thali, fixed quantity only.
Though I'd recommend the restaurant to get stuff only asked for, since a lot may go to waste.
Otherwise, loved the food and quick service :)

This restaurant is really so beautiful..... We had lunch here it was so good and yummy..... I love visit rainbow... Staff were really very nice.... So helpful... @
Coniriosb
The restaurant looks good from the outside but the food was awful, the plates of our thali were cold and no taste. I have been 2 weeks in India and its the worst food I have tried.

And 31, 5% percent of taxes isnt good.
Yahiya
Visited this place couple of times
Hoping that I'd change my mind about it
Which unfortunately didn't happen

Almost three time and different dishes at each time but the food is just not that tasty comparing with it price you expect much better
Plus the service is kinda bad and they took too much time 👎
Ayantika Bhaskar
A little roadside restaurant that we visited during our stay at Jaipur, after a fresh and hearty sightseeing tour of the Jaipur City Palace and historic hilltop Amer Fort. We had the sweet lassi which was very refreshing and appetising, followed by a Rajasthani thaali and veg pizza which we shared amongst us. Food was fresh, tasty and well cooked. Pizza was also not bad. An eatery where one can grab some quick brunch or late breakfast after a hectic tour of the Amer Fort or the Pink City itself.

ON THE WAY to amer fort.....best place to have food while coming back from amer. as ur stomach gets empty coz of walking up and down on the hills of amer ...u can fulfill ur stomach again at this place.
staffs r nice and well behaved. we tried rajasthani thali there..it was sufficient to fill our stomach for 2 ppl. tasty and hygienic food. rates are ok types...must go
Stelida Fernandes
Loved he food was running around the place when spotted this joint. A very crowded place good service.right place to be at when you are extremely hungry. Had a very good hearty meal.
Vaishali Savla
Really bad bad food, bad service be careful thy might cheat you in bill by mentioning extra roti. Overall bad food, services ambience all is bad... Try to avoid
Soumain Dhara (Desi Taareef Waale)
Food is not so good but it's ok for. If you are looking for a delecious food then rainbow's food is not for your taste.the service is also slow overall disappointed.

This is the best restaurant of Jaipur nice staff.... With lovely meal.......rainbow special thali was very tasty.....i was with my family... Love to visit again...

1st of all this place opens at 10:30 AM, not 8:30 AM.

Food: Highly overpriced, was served with first round of cold chapatis.

Taste: ok types

Staff: Very poor. We were 2 people who went to dine there. When i placed order (a dal makhani & chapatis), waiter looked at me and smiled sarcastically in amaze, intending to say that's it!!.. As if i will order more just to please him & waste my money... would have rated 0 is there was any option for that...
Monish Shah
The place is very average. The food is highly priced and ambiance is sad. The AC wasn't working. The food was discouraging. We came here when we were coming back from Amer fort. Avoid if u can.
Leon Thomas
At the recommendation of our excellent cab driver, we entered into this place and were greeted with impeccable service. The waiter suggested some options at requests, however I could not pass up the rainbow special dosa. Turned out to be an amazing choice as I was faced with a double sided paper dosa (see photo). Even better that it tasted amazing with flavors of potato, paneer, cashew and raisins inside. Trust me, it's an odd mix but it works.
Samanyu Chopra
Was a little sceptical when saw lil lower rating but had no other option at that time(it was lil late at night) but really amazing food, quick service, apt ambience. Worth going. The specials menu is also worth trying. The best thing is its worth the money.
Mohd Shahrukh
Rainbow restaurant is very much pricey,
Just for the sake of location which is also not
Considered as awesome.
They should reduce their prices somewhat
And should also pay attention towards their
Taste, quality and quantity.
Tejasvi Sharma
Good food situated on the way to JAL mahal and amer food the food was of good quality at reasonable price but a bit spicy though , went here 5 or 6 times during my stay and loved the ac environment as it was a relief from the heat
Shekhar Bansal
Average food, average ambiance, overly priced not worth as compared to the quality of the food, situated at nice location near Jalmahal.

Service is also very slow.
Agam Raj
Crazy place to have indian and Continental food
Good for tourists(they serve with limited spices)
Laal manse is the best thing u can have if u prefer non-veg try not to have pizza and all king of that food
Subia Khan
Good restaurant closer to jal mahal.Large menu wth continental.Non-vegetarian thali is famous.Njoyed food wth family n one thing I need to suggest about services need to improve..
Sasha Priyo
It is situated near Jalmahal hence it's location is quite good. As far as ambiance is concerned it's quite avarage little old restaurant style. If you look at the menu it offers you many options but don't go for non-veg. The veg food is still recommendable. Despite many tourists visit this place due to its location but continental food is not very authentic.
Himanshu Kaushal
Veg was good and non veg was not. If you are vegeterian its a good place for you. Ambience was peaceful. .
Chef Sarvadaman Varshney
ON the outskirts of Jaipur famous among the tourist as you can find lot of tourist there during the winter time. Based on old concept of simple sitting which makes the place comfortable to sit and enjoy your meals.

The sizzlers are really good and food is pretty good too. One can enjoy there time with quick and comfortable service.
As on my last visit I saw they have recently came up with the banquet.
wish them all the best
Sumit Jain
One of the very old places which were like upscale on Amer road at least 7-8 years ago. This restaurant serves you everything and every cuisine ( that is what they and the menu claims).
Though this can be a really good thing to have diverse food options, but the issue starts here itself. Everything is tasteless. They only know how a chinese dish and Indian rice can have the same taste.
And yes, pricing is like one of the finest in town.
No service levels to say the least and no courtsey either
Just avoid the place
Dheepak Jeevaraj
I went to this hotel with my parents in Nov, 2012.
The first thing you would notice about this hotel is that if you place all the items on the menu, the hotel wont be sufficient to hold it - Yes! It is a "multi-cuisine" hotel serving almost everything we have ever heard or read of.

A multi-cuisine hotel in India is expected to serve at least good Indian cuisine. We ordered a South Indian thali and a Chicken Biryani (Raitha was charged separately).

Having tasted various types of Biryanis across India, I would say that this biryani was lost in translation somewhere between the Arabic spice rice and Kashmiri pulao. The chicken pieces were not tender.

Coming to the south Indian thali - it contained a bowl or sambhar, rasam, vegetable (Aloo mutter masala) and rice. Thats it for Rs. 170/- plus taxes. Surprisingly, I found the same veggie served in South Indian thali in Rajasthani thali and North Indian thali as well (Cultural Diversity across India is no more!)

The waiters were mostly near the billing counter and hardly notice you.

I would have given this hotel 2 stars, but due to the exorbitant prices charged for the meagre quantities served in a non-delicious manner, I had to take away one star.

Kindly avoid this place.
