Review Baradari Restaurant & Bar - Jaipur

Teppei Hanazono
If you’re looking for a bar that is luxurious this bar restaurant is a must go. Once you step in you are greeted with amazing interior structure beam that surrounds the bar and outdoor space to spend your night dine, enjoying the view while sipping some nice cocktail. Although the atmosphere was amazing I was pretty disappointed with the cocktails. It was not the taste that was bad but the presentation was a bit poor. The mojito didn’t have fresh mint but dead and the espresso martini wasn’t foaming up indicating poor espresso. Comparing the price I would expect better than this but other than the presentation it was amazing.

This place within the City Palace is a luxurious and reasonable spot, with a fantastic ambience and delicious food. We had a delightful experience, especially with their veg pizza, penne Alfredo, Cold Coffee, wedges etc. which surpassed our expectations. This restaurant is a must-visit, offering a wide range of meals from North Indian to continental, and its aesthetics make it perfect for photos. Highly recommended!

It's a restaurant within the City Palace. We dropped in for a quick lunch. The ambience was good and the food was good. I recommend the Apple Jalebi with Rose Petal ice cream.

We were debating between going to Niros or Baradari, but since we were already in City Palace, we decided to just visit Baradri, and we have no regrets. Laal Maas was simply delicious. I finished the entire thing completely by myself, I just couldn't stop. the meat was so tender and the gravy was so flavorful. Spices were well balanced. Everything about the Laal Maas was perfection. Butter naan was not the best I've had since it was a bit chewy and rubbery. Caprese Pizza was great as well. The crust was nice and thin, toppings were fresh and flavourful. This place has quite an ambience. They have done a wonderful job incorporating modern elements in a heritage setup. It was a soothing and comforting experience dining at the Baradari Restaurant. Prices are similar to other fine dining restaurants. You would expect prices to be much higher by the looks and feel of the restaurant. Prices are comparable to Niros. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant.

If you are in Jaipur, you can't miss this place ! The food and ambience is awesome 👌 but what will absolutely floor you is their service. We visited the place both for lunch and dinner during our stay, and really enjoyed it. You can try fish and mutton preparations or local rajasthani food as well. The only drawback was the wine list - not great, but then everything else just makes up for it.

Food: light and fresh Service: Great customer service. The orders were correct. Problems were solved. The check was split. Atmosphere: Modern vibe with ancient backdrop. They have outdoor and indoor seating.

The place is located at the city palace and have a nice seating arrangement. The food is ok but it makes it awesome due to the ambience. The prices may be a little higher mainly due to the location maybe. A try for a meal is recommended personally as I felt as a tourist.
Center of Excellence
This place is all about quality food, enjoyed the atmosphere and food, pls never miss a chance if you make it to city palace !! It’s quite expensive but worth, especially the special laal maas !! slurrp…. Service standards can be improved, but food .. is just royal!

This was a beautiful place inside the City Palace. Luxurious and fancy in it’s interior and the food is just right!! It’s always buzzing with people. People from all walks of life come and enjoy the ambience and food here. We ordered veg pizza and drinks here. They were amazing. We rather enjoyed the restaurant more than the City Palace. They offer proper meals ranging from North Indian to continental to just snacks. It’s a picture worthy place. Highly recommended !!

Had lunch after visiting City Palace. Very comfortable sitting arrangement, spacious. Air conditioning works well. Little pricey but considering having lunch on a Royal palace one can bear the cost. Rajasthani speciality food Lal Mas or Home Made Rose petals icecream were a few delicacies available here, we tasted and found awesome.

Visited here in the hot sun after the tour of the palace. The way it is built is amazing. We couldn’t sit outside due to the scorching heat but I assume it is a place to be in the evening. Although, inside was quite cozy and cool. The drinks were good and the paneer tikka was to die for. Definitely recommended and coming back in the evening. Pretty confident that the 4 stars will turn to 5.

Really Tasty food .. Dal batti churma is just mind blowing tasty 😋. I had retook the churma to taste it again . Even the Highness of Rajasthan recommended a dish which is really good but a bit expensive...

Must have Laal Maas! The service & food is amazing. I had the best laal Maas in Jaipur. The atmosphere is good, you can enjoy amazing food inside the city palace courtyard. Ordered fish finger as well which was not that great. Too oily

We had a great time at this Place. I'll surely recommend this place to visit if you're visiting City Palace Jaipur.

It's Ok for the ambience and the location. However, from the prospective of service and food, it was not all that great. Although it's relatively expensive, the staff did not approach us when we entered, we had to look for a table ourselves and then when we found one, none of them even bothered to pass on the menu card to us until we asked for it like 4 times. Ofcourse the crowd was a lot that day but they were not able to handle it clearly. Now the food, I ordered for lal maans for myself which turned out to be not so nice. The meat was not cooked enough or was of a bad quality, I struggled to even cut it with a knife. This was just my experience, could be a one off but still a place to try definitely.

I'd visited Baradari for dinner on Friday ... And found it to be amazingly calm .... I'd say it would be a great place (rather palace) for a romantic dinner .... No loud music and not many people visiting for dinner ... Talking about food well we choose to have the Rajasthani cuisine I had Lal Maas which was perfectly cooked ( wish it was a bit more spicy ) Wife had ordered veg ker sangri which was again almost close to being perfect ( expect for the strands of hair in it) Staff felt quite embarrassed about it and went on explaining about how the veggies are procured .... Some how I wasn't convinced They had also changed the dish for us but still wish it had not happened Moving on beer was perfectly chilled and the starters were good too I still give it a 5 And would visit again

Beautiful restaurant inside the Jaipur city palace with very a soothing ambience.. although they serve the best Rajasthani cuisine..but one must try the cookies and the brownie too.. and it's an honour and a treat to meet the head chef of the restaurant.. loved it
Sania Galundia
The restaurant has a great ambience with both indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the cascading water body in their courtyard. The food was great too! I tried the lal maas platter and a salad, both were lovely.

Had dinner here on my birthday. Good place as long as money is not a concern ;)

Food was great!!!!! Staff was little less attentive. Had to call him regularly. Was busy in personal gossips. Other than that, the whole experience was fabulous with a mesmerising ambience.

Awesome ambiance.

Nothing great. Would expect a royal decor and royal cuisine. What we got was a run of the mill pubish decor and fusion food.
Anmol Parnami
Delicious food! We ordered for sundried tomato, goat cheese, pine nuts and walnuts pizza. In mains we ordered paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, jalapeno naan and garlic naan. Everything was better than the other.
Beautiful place, great vibe and service and really good food...
Special thanks to Bhawani ji for serving us!

As it is in city place its Heritage look is on top there , the ambience is real rich and tho the food is expensive but good , you would see more of foreigners there and there is a way to go to diya kumari’s house from inside, i went there around holi and there were guest from italy they were happy about the place, they arrange date decorations too nice staff with elegant ambience one must visit this place.
Nothingbeyond_food
Baradari is in jaipur near pink city at vity palace. It is actually one of the finest place in jaipur. Perfect heritage place for date.
Arpita Kalantri
Taste of the food is not up to the mark.Even basic french fires were tasteless.

This place is overhyped. Will not deny the fact that this place is located at one of the most iconic places of Jaipur - The City Palace. This is where the current royalty of Jaipur stays. The ambience is great and you certainly feel special dining here. But the good story ends here. Everything else was very disappointing. The service was horrible. One would expect that the staff of one of the most historic restaurants would be polite, friendly and professional rather the staff was hostile, rude and unprofessional. The food was sub-standard as well. We asked for the Spaghetti Aglio Olio and it turned out to be undercooked. When we informed the waiter, he arrogantly told us that this is how you are supposed to have aglio olio. Now, I am no expert at pastas but I've had them at many uber restaurants to know that this is not how you serve aglio olio pasta. They forgot to bring the pumpkin seed naan with the soup. We ordered a walnut pizza and they forgot to add that to the order. We ordered the avocado salad and struggled to find any avocado in it. When we informed them, they simply added some avocado on top of the salad and gave it to us. I could go on and on but I guess you get the point.
Patricio Spamer
Unsanitary restaurant. Assumed it was a safe place to order a salad because it was inside a palace and very expensive. Woke up the next morning extremely ill. A restaurant this expensive should have safe salads. Been in India for two weeks and no problems until I ate at this restaurant. DONT TRUST THE FOOD!

It is actually one of the finest places in jaipur, if you are looking for a place where you get some cosy vibes and place where you can talk to your special ones. This is a perfect place to spend quality time.
For ambience and vibe 5/5
I ordered coffee and the cookies were so mouth watering they just lit up my mood as I m a cookie lover.
So coffee was 5/5
Overall place is bit pricey
But there are only few places if you like visiting fine places you must try.
Overall experience 5/5

Located within the City Palace precinct, it does look opulent with angarakha clad doormen at the entrance and what one sees inside confirms it! Bonsai, the red sandstone balustrade and brackets, a mini waterfall, absolutely comfortable seating-outdoor and indoor, and the uber cool bar, they all add in equal measure a sense of royalty historicity and the essence of modernity/ urban open space by the very fact that it's a part of the royal family's hospitality division. They have some fine collection of alcoholic beverages and the food menu's not far behind either. For the lack of time on hand I had to quickly settle for a thin crust pizza-Pizza Caprese(veg), and a vegetarian City Palace Club sandwich. Pizza was not very cheesy, just the way I like and the sun dried tomatoes topping tasted brilliant on it. Sandwich came with good amount of French fries and veggies all tasted fresh and crunchy. It was a chance discovery and I'm glad I could feel maybe, an ounce of royalty by dining here:-) Do visit if u happen to visit the City palace.

PS: This review is as a result of my two day trip to Jaipur, otherwise I have absolutely zero experience of Jaipur's food culture.

We especially booked our table well in advance and reached the restaurant 20 mins before our booking time..The staff refused to offer us a table outside with heating as supposedly the entire outside space was booked for a private party..We travelled good 45 mins to dine here but left very dissapointed.

Baradari best restro in the area
Service was too good keep it up guys

Good place to visit but the food is pretty average

Perfect heritage place for date.
The ambience is very soothing and the cocktails and mocktails adds the cherry to the cake.
This is a place which enjoys a strategic location. In fact,it could have been a welcome window for Rajasthani food to all tourists visiting Jaipur from far and wide. But,I noticed,it has been relegated to the stature
of any run-of-the-mill joint which has the opportunity to cater to the tourists.

When you start modifying dishes to suit foreign palates, the authenticity of the original dish does take a beating. I ordered their seemingly signature dish-laal maans with bajra khichri and baati. I found that the dish has been reduced to a 'display' dish', totally devoid of the robust Rajasthani punch. I mean the richness of spices(not necessarily chilly) was conspicuously absent.
A food enthusiast ,at this budget, would definitely wish for something more authentic.
I do agree that such places have to cater to all sorts of varied tastes and also to their saleability.
But the foodie tends to focus more on the
authentic flavoufulness of any dish, and on this parameter,I was disappointed.
The ambience is good, the overall quality of service is quite okay, but it is definitely not worth what they are charging.
Some fine-tuning,and this place can make it big time
Wingstofreedom123
Racist people serving at the restaurant. Won't even offer water to Indians.
Amrut Kara
Good Italian thin crust pizza choice.

Located in the main city of jaipur this place offers nice ambiance, nice food and sophisticated atmosphere.
Food that we ordered are :

Tomato soup : 3/5 ( not worth tasting )
Mozarella katchori with potato chat : 4.5/5 ( recommended )
Paneer tikka : 1/5 ( totally waste )
Smoked tandoori pineapple : 4/5 ( nice )
Margherita pizza : 5/5 ( awesome taste, worth trying )

Main course :

Paneer tikka masala : 3.5/5 ( very less quantity and heavily priced )
Aloo pyaaz sabzi : 4/5 ( nice )
Dal : 4/5

All in all a nice place but heavily priced i.e not worth money. Its okay to try only once..

The place was nice with good food and I loved the ambience with candles and dim lights. Do try the lal maas it was amazing.
Varun Jakhmola
It has no doubt a royal feel , yes the best and worst part is there is no WiFi , best because yeah we can pretend it's 1800's and bad because I didn't have any network and wanted to speak to some one using whats app..., Tried 1 dish which tasted ok , service level like a 2 star restaurant (staff was very casual) little disappointed after hearing about it so many times

Baradari is a must-go place in Jaipur. We loved their laal maas dish. The ambience is super classy.
Staff: 5/5
Music: 4/5
Food: 4/5
Ambience: 5/5
Good view and ambience. The food is okayish. We ordered paneer tikka and pizza both of them were really cold and didn’t look as fresh as it should have been. Though a nice place to chill and have drinks. The good part is it’s a place to go both in the day and during the night. Looks beautiful.
Sukriti Kala
Such an amazing ambience!
We ordered paneer tikka, sun dried tomato spaghetti pasta and baradari's caramel banana pie. All of these turned out to be absolutely delish. The pricing is a tad bit on the plus side but I think it's worth the experience and the quality offered.
Baradari has both outdoor and indoor AC seating and in a better weather would make for a great place to chill for hours at a stretch. Recommended 👍

Reserve a seat before you plan here.
Now - sit, relax and enjoy the royal treatment.

Ask for recommendation in cocktails, they won’t disappoint you and Lal Maans is super.
In starters- tandoori pineapple is highly recommended.

Staff - superb.

Very bad experience. Very bad food, and they refused to use my zomato gold membership.
Never ever go there. Not satisfied with services at all.

Baradari is a place which you will love coming again and again just for the ambiance and would never get tired of it. Food here has low spices as most of the people who come here are foreigners so everyone might not like it.

In the 3-4 short visits to Jaipur, I've been to more than a dozen places, and nothing has enchanted me more than Baradari. It's only imaginable that the teenage Maharaja (figurative) himself comes over and makes sure that everything is in place. Baradari is everything you need to experience the royalty. We went for a few drinks and tried Mozzarella Kachorie on the side. The taste was an experience in itself. Though the prices are a little on the higher side, wouldn't you expect that from a place a classy? If you live in Jaipur and haven't been here, please visit. If you don't live in Jaipur, please experience this and make your visit complete!
PS: Visit during the night for a better experience.

Beautiful place but such a disaster food wise .

I recommend having a whole new well trained and more experienced kitchen staff.

Had the worst cold coffee .

What a waste of this beautiful space.

Love love love the ambience and the outdoor seating. Food & drinks are quite good, especially the pizza. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Must visit when in Jaipur!

Visited baradari in city palace today! Ambience is average they haven’t renovated it too much. Didn’t gave me any royal feeling like I was expecting.
What we ordered was red wine sangria which was very average, magherita pizza which was also average and non veg platter which was good. Initially we were only people in the area so it was quite good experience felt like private dining. Though after some time one family came and then we realised sitting arrangement is quite compact.
Would probably come sometime just to have a drink at the bar side!

Using ancient artisanal techniques, Studio Lotus helmed by architect Ambrish Arora transformed the cafe at City Palace Jaipur into Baradari — 14,000 sq ft alfresco restaurant where traditional craftsmanship meets sleek, modern design. Walking in, my friend and I were in awe of Baradari — a fine example of living heritage and how conservation is looked at through fresh lens. An island bar and fountain is the focal point of the courtyard, from where a path leads into the pavilion. Though it was a hot weekday, it was packed to capacity with foreigners and we were glad to have a reserved table! Perusing the menu, we observed that though Rajasthani cuisine is the mainstay, the kitchen has accounted for overseas travellers with lighter dishes like charcoal grilled chicken, steamed fish with sesame soy, pasta, pizza and sandwiches.

After some deliberation, we ordered sangria. For lunch, I went with 'Baradari Penne Pesto' while my friend chose 'Spaghetti Aglio Olio Pepperoncino'. Our dishes arrived quickly and my expectation was righteously met when I had my first bite of the penne pesto with Parmesan, coriander and walnuts. It was fabulous! Although my preference is a thick creamy sauce, and this was a dry dish, it was light, fresh and flavourful. My friend mentioned her spaghetti sautéed in olive oil, with dry red chilli, sliced garlic and parsley was delightful. Though the dessert menu was appealing with specialties like 'Apple Jalebi With Rose Petal and Ice Cream' and 'Honey Sea Salt Creme Brulee', we were satiated and left it for another day.

Reminiscing about the luncheon, there's a reason why Baradari is packed through the day and late into the evening. The ambience is charming and the team caters to tourists' culinary preferences with both regional cuisine and a lighter International selection — the growing number of guests each day is proving it. The only thing I found lacking, and a bit appalling honestly, is the slow service. We had to wait twenty minutes for the bill even though there were several unoccupied servers!! That said, it's a must-visit when you're in the mood for relaxed cocktails and cuisine in the palace grounds.

Nice place.. loved there ambience.. its situated in the city palace.. royal feel.. when u get tired of touristing in the palace need some relax.. then baradari is your go.. loved there sandwiches and coffee

Be prepared to be ignored, when they have too many clients. Great ambiance but service needs to be up by a few notches. We entered the restaurant and found the usher missing. Had to wait for a bit. I guess they are not used to guests who walk in at 8:30 pm.

Perfect ambience for the date, good place for dinning and nice decor. I have tried tomato soup, pasta, flafal. The food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented... overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.
RECOMMENDED

Love the selection of dishes in the menu so much but I wish you guys also had lunch available everyday. Perfect date place for dinner when you are visiting city palace.

Rating:
Food-5
Ambience-4
Service-5

So playing a tourist is always fun. Found myself visiting Jaipur and hence the city place. Everyone classy who knew I was visiting Jaipur, asked me to visit this opulent place. So when you visit Jaipur, you got to come to a place that is this fancy, otherwise you are doing it wrong. It's an open seating area with the bar that looks beautiful. The service here is quick and to the point. Food and drinks here are really amazing. It's an expensive affair but then again, you don't visit Jaipur everyday right? And treat yourself to something this fancy once in a while, because you're worth it. Hope your experience was as amazing as mine!
*
Happy eating :)
Stunning place! Full royal feel with mouth smacking deserts. Must try marble cake! Very good service too. Must try place once in jaipur. And they should also opne the upper area for sitting soon.

What a wonderful place ! We were truly enchanted with the modern looks and settings delicately blending with the heritage look of the property. We ordered the vegetarian platter , spaghetti with sun dried tomatoes and pizza caprese . The taste of every dish was spectacular , specially the spaghetti with the sunndried tomatoes. I am in love with the ambience and the food ... would love to go back very very soon 💕

- LOCATION & AMBIANCE : 4/5
Located in the pink city at City Palace, to reach Baradari, you’ll have to cross the heavy traffic of the pink city. But once you reach the destination, you’ll realise it was worth the traffic.
The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, and it’s extremely peaceful too.
It’s the perfect place for a family dinner or a romantic date.

- FOOD : 4/5
Ordered a kebabs stater (cannot recall the name), but it was a bit dry, though the flavours will still packed.

Apart from that, we had CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA with tandoori roti, which was alright.

- STAFF & SERVICE : 4/5

- VALUE FOR MONEY : 4/5
The best part is that they offer Zomato Gold on drinks, which is truly a saviour.

- WILL I VISIT AGAIN?
Yes.
Navisidhu1102
VERY BAD. there were pieces of plastic in the food. I would not reccomend anyone to come here. Even the attitude of the staff and chef regarding the matter was very casual. Quantity of the food was also very less. Even though it was clearly mentioned that the restaurant is open till midnight, the staff said that the last order is at 10:30. Went there on a strong recommendation but was extremely disappointed.
Aayush Jajodia
Horrible service staff not at all co-operative.
Not recommended at all. The food is overly priced which is not worth the quantity and quality.
The behaviour of the staff was very rude and arrogant. They dint had time to properly listen to their guests.
Not at all recommended.

Very poor service.. not at all recommendable..

Please jaipurites don’t visit this place. This is only to loot you.

Staff is not at all cooperative.

Hahaha most amazing thing.. they don’t have feedback form or complaint register..

The ambience is excellent! We ordered a plate of keema Pao benedict and laal mans. Both were very well cooked and were very filling. Overall an excellent experience!

Beautiful place situated in the City Palace of Jaipur. Amalgamation of Indian heritage with international modern vibe. Food is price but good for beer and wine, also has happy hours starting in the late afternoon. Hit the place right away for a Royal Feel.
Sanjiv Gulati
Great ambience. Good food. Hard working staff. But so badly mis-managed. Poor senior management. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Takes so much of time for every order and even your bill to be delivered ...
Parisha Jain
The place seemed beautiful in the pictures, so decided to visit. We actually skipped the palace museum and went to Baradari straightaway. However, it did not meet our expectations. The food was all right, except the dal ke pakodes which seemed really less in quantity and too hard to bite. The bad part was the service - we had to remind them multiple times to bring our food. Was a long wait. Will give it to the ambience though :)
Sandeep Dhar
While I really like the ambience and this was my second visit to the place, I was left deeply dissatisfied with the service offered. I had to wait for 30 minutes at my table and literally yell for someone to take my order. May be the restaurant needs to order their house and mentor their staff on hospitality. When you ask for a ton for service, one expect the class irrespective of the rush.

Overall, nice place to hangout.
Varun Jain
A place perfect for an experience which tourist can look for. Decent food and amazing ambience with a glimpse of city palace.
Our group collectively cherished the sunny weather with light brews and some Italian and Indian food.
Though, food is not 100% authentic irrespective of Italian or Indian but the aura get all the rights for 5. 😄
We tried Risotto and veg Indian platter. 👍
Oshee Johri
The setting and ambience is beautiful. The staff seemed a little slow but that may be due to rush lunch hours- it’s a great place to sit and have a couple of drinks and some snacks for sure.

Best place to visit. Zomato has rightly rated this restaurant, we enjoyed our dining experience. Polite staff, lip smacking starters come later, it is the ambience which sets the mood. Loved the place!

Great ambiance... good service... but disappointing food... The bar seemed to be packed but as I don't drink cannot comment on that section. Dropped in with the family for lunch after touring the City Palace...

We had ordered the

Chicken Corn Chowder with Fresh Coriander - Ordered for my daughter.. she tasted and commented that it was too watery... I thought she was being fussy about having her soup but then when I tried it ... it was like colored water... no flavor at all... with all due respect you would get better flavor with a packet of Maggi or Knorr soup.

Baradari Ceasar - This was good... A decent ratio of veggies to the sauce to chicken...

Royal Laal Maas - Being a specialty of Jaipur and having it at a restaurant at Jaipur Palace the expectations were high... but the dish fell short of expectations... the gravy was on the sweeter side and the meat was chewy... The roti was dry and the Khichdi was NOT for an Indian palette. If you have had the proper khichdi in Jaipur then you will know what I mean.

Penne Aglio Olio - Pasta is done al dente ... the sauce to pasta ratio was good... the combination was really nice.. the kids loved this dish.

All in all, I would say this place seems to have its head in the right place with the international main courses but if you are looking for Rajasthani or Indian cuisine I would say there are other places you can go to.

Not a must visit place when you drop into Jaipur, I would say.

I've heard a lot about this place so I decided to visit this place with my friends. The food was super delicious, the ambience was great , the food service was good, staff was good, it was very airy and it was very peaceful out there. but what i didn't liked about this place was that while we were entering in the restaurant the guard who was sitting there asked us in a very weird and offensive manner "kaha se aae ho?" And we answered "restaurant Mei Jana hai" and then again very weirdly he said "restaurant toh bandh hai" so I answered him back "abi meri phone pe baat hui thi, and the guy on the phone said that it is open" then the guard said "ok then go inside" so here I just want to say that this is the area where the the administration needs an improvement. The security guard out there should need to behave in a polite Manner and with good hospitality and not raise such offensive questions ( "kaha se aae ho") and provide wrong information As it'll definitely degrade the reputation of this great restaurant.

Located in premises of the City Palace, Baradari is synonymous for its grandeur & royalty. As you enter it , welcomes you with aura of a Royal Palace straight way from the Jalebi Chowk. A well lit & fabricated bar is seen followed by courtyard styled outdoor seatings for the evenings , they do have indoor seatings for hot climates too but ambiance is brought about sitting outside by their fountain. Staff is courteous and patient. Food! Its requires mending according to the taste of Indian Taste Buds. What I would recommend here is to fancy yourself a drink or so with finger food or appetizers rather having main course. Cocktails menu have a great selections here. Preparations here have a small serving portion which might turn you down. Coming to the weight of your money in the pocket, you’re pockets will get light weighted as soon you pay for your meal here making Baradari a place mostly for special ones or a romantic date.

Stumbled upon this place a few years back while visiting city palace. Had great coffee. The ambience is great. We sat outside and it wasn’t too hot to bear. You bet all a great place to sit chat date. Haven’t tried to food yet.
Gaurav
Lovely ambience as it is setup in city palace . Good cocktails with decent food . The only issue is getting there as you have to go inside the old city but if you are a tourist it can be a plus point as you get to cross hawa Mahal and old jaipur market .
Sheetu Singh
Bad food and service. I visited the place for my anniversary and was disappointed. The pizza was particularly bad. Apple jalebi with rose petal icecream was a disaster.
Vinayak Agrawal
You are visiting the city palace and find a restaurant inside, then you are bound to visit that place.

Baradari is a place to visit for multiple reasons, those being great service, too good interiors and ambience, and also great drinks and food.

We ordered Baradari Iced Tea (cocktail) and beer, and a margherita pizza.
The cocktail was good and nicely mixed. The pizza was served with few basil leaves and cherry tomatoes. Pizza was great in taste and so was the cocktail.

The staff is very friendly. Ambience is great with indoor and outdoor seating.
The place may look like too costly but it's not. The place is fancy and makes you sit around it for hours with comfortable seating and great service.

If the zomato had 0 rating !! I would have surely given that ! The food was too bad not at all worth then we asked for white wine they had five options but only one available and then services !!!! Ohhh god service was awful after calling them n number of times they served us spoons !! Totally degrading the name of city palace the place is beautiful no doubt but then what’s the use !! When your staff is not at all up to the mark, you ll have to call them so many times so ya not at all satisfied !!

Possibly the perfect setting for a date night! We absolutely loved the ambiance. It is airy and very elegant. Almost feels like a fine dining in a ruin bar!

The staff is very friendly and try their best to make you feel at home. We ordered for the murg parluft and the charcoal chicken which was simply yum! Tender and perfectly spiced, it went down really well with us.

The spaghetti with sun-dried tomatoes is my new favourite! I'm going to be ordering this every time we come here for a bite. Just gorgeous!

The cocktails were very nice but could have been more potent! But anyway, no complaints! We will surely be back hungry for a lot more! Absolute treat!

Cocktails were really good. Highly recommend Maitai. In started chicken tikka with egg and cheese was really good. In Mains ordered Lal maas with baati and Bajra. Was disappointed as the mutton was chewy.

Baradari is amazing. Love the mozzarella kachoris. Also a wonderful atmosphere for a meal! The creme brûlée was delicious. Hospitable and extremely helpful staff :)

We ordered for chicken tikka masala combo and the food was tasty however the chicken was over cooked, it was tough to cut through or bite. However the taste of gravy, gatta curry was amazing! Overall good food however chicken needs to be cooked to perfection!

So the restaurant is situated inside City Palace Jaipur which was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur.
Interiors are really good with both outdoor and indoor sitting options. They even have artificial waterfall & pond situated within the premises only which in turn is very soothing. But the outer area was not well maintained They didn't even have mist fan cooler and it was too hot. So we sat inside.Coming to the food we ordered Mozzarella Kachori With Potato Chaat, Ker Sangri, Rajasthani Aloo Pyaaz ki Sabzi & in drinks Pink Paradise.
Food was gud except the ker sangri(it was ok ok).
Mozarella kachori is quite unique concept with and they served it with beetroot curd dip & fresh tomato salsa( must order).
Prices were on a bit higher side.
Make sure to check the bill thoroughly as they charge us for things which we didnt even order. We told them abt the error and they generate us a new bill. Staff is friendly and polite. Overall its a grt place but a bit mismanaged.

Me and my friend had a short stop by this restaurant as we were exploring the City Palace. We had peach ice tea here which was amazingly refreshing. We were really awestruck by the beautiful interiors of the restaurant and would definitely come by to dine.

Went to this place Saturday evening, situated in city palace complex parking is not a problem.

Once you enter inside will be mesmerized with their open air setup which is really ver very good, as it was really humid so we decided to sit inside ac hall.

After seeing menu we ordered kachori chaat presentation was good but they were not cooked properly and very bland in taste, went here after seeing pizza pictures on Zomato which we later found are not in menu.

So ordered pasta in red sauce which was really mediocre dish can get better anywhere else.

Than decided to order a paneer dish which comes along with Raita and Roti this was not even presented good and taste wise also few dhaba’s are better outside.

So later we thought not to order desert and left early.

Giving 3 star only for interiors.
I visited this place for the second time, except for decor its one hell of a horrible place to go with friends and family. The staff is untrained and uncouth and they start packing up and closing the place even before patrons have left. Food is just plain horrible. Even with such magnificent people behind it., its a let down. AVOID. Avoid and avoid
Baradari is visually STUNNING!
We had dinner here after the light and sound show at the museum. Our's was a large noisy group with hungry, restless kids. The staff was warm and courteous and the service prompt. We really enjoyed the pumpkin & goat cheese soup (served with naan), quinoa salad, falafal platter, barley risotto and the wood fired pizzas. The freshly made spaghetti with sun dried tomato is to die for !

The restaurant has a great ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating. I specially loved the cascading water body and the lit up island bar in their courtyard. The menu has international and Indian options. The pastas are handmade and the pizzas baked in a wood fire oven, my favourites were the sundried tomato spaghetti and the laal maas platter. I had gone for the Museum at Night at the palace and ended the evening a meal and drinks here. It's the perfect place for a special outing!

If you’re looking for a beautiful place to take a breather on your very hectic trip of Jaipur, Baradari is IT! You over look a palace, sit either in a glamorous veranda, or inside cute alcoves, enjoying a very nice meal. There is a large AC section, too, if you can’t take the heat.
Choices limited to Indian and continental (the pizzas are my favourite), and the salads are good too. I love the iced americano, the pumpkin soup and the citrus salad! Desserts + coffee are ideal if you don’t have time, but I would recommend a drink (or three)!
Surprised that it’s rather empty in the evenings, because it’s a great date spot, and place to meet with friends/ family too!

Located in the city palace area , a quite place to eat and drink. The main baradari area is well done and the AC space inside is good too. The sound of water falls is interesting. The staff is courteous and the food good. Coming here during winter should be a good decision.

The poster outside the restaurant sets a very high expectations, but the restaurant itself is very poorly maintain for the prices.

Fountains not working, algae in all the fountains and dust on the furniture in the area outside. Since Jaipur is a hot location, one can expect a restaurant of this caliber to have water atomizers, but they don't even have a water cooler. That's why I'm removing the last 🌟

Indoor seating area is much better. The whole area has a very royal smell to it, guess you'll have to be here to understand. The salads are very nice. Good presentation and good taste. The spicy items like chicken Tikka masala are a little toned down, I guess keeping the foreigners in mind.

The staff is very polite, and takes care of you from the moment you enter the place. I bought a citrus and quinoa salad. It was absolutely refreshing and helped to beat the heat along with a mug of beer.

I hope this place improves it decoration, and maintain it nicely. It is worth a shot when you visit the city palace in Jaipur.

While the food was good and the ambience is beautiful, the cocktails were a terrible disappointment. Moreover, our server kept arguing with us about how the cocktails were not that bad, actually. Despite calling them multiple times, they would take forever to come and talk to us on our table. A very very infuriating experience overall.

One of the worst experience !! Very bad service. Waiters keep themselves busy with foreign tourist in order to get a tip. Food is average. Don’t see any reason for anyone to visit this place.
Preeti Bhatia
Nicely designed cafe in the middle of city palace .... blending the architecture of old palace with contemporary design ..... giving the guests a mixed world dining experience..... food was just average and service good ...... go there for overall good dining experience

I would say this place certainly explains the beauty of Jaipur.❤️

Yes it's true that the place is very expensive as it is mainly for foreigners, and Jaipur is undoubtedly rich tourism. It's a place where one can sit and relax and have a peaceful conversation with not much disturbance or interference or say it loud music.

One thing I disliked was the response of the service persons, it's not like they behaved in a rude manner. But, as this place mainly deals with foreign visitors it would be better if the waiters could just smile and be more interactive.

No complaints with food.
If we compare it in respect of food it is expensive and overrated.

A perfect place in the heart of Jaipur ... Location & ambience are next to perfect ..!!
Coming to food, it's not upto Marjorie I can say not for taste buds of Indians ...
Prices are little high , but justifies with place ..!

Awfull experience. One of the worst pizza till date. It was all smelly and taste like dipped in ghee. Crust was soggy and was not fresh. Over all an awful experience. Ruined my visit to city palace.

What can I say about this place? It’s b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! We had an amazing experience. I guess the weather too favoured us. Strategically located. Right in the heart of the City Palace. How wonderful to be seated here, basking under the sun and having a delicious meal. This place is definitely a winner. I have to plan a trip to Jaipur again. 😛
What was on our plate:
•Peach martini - 😍
•Pink paradise - 😍
•Royal lal maas with bajra khichdi and mixed Rajasthani chards - 🤪
•Keema pao benedict (Mmhmm, wow! The benedict was awesome) - 🤪
•Chicken tikka masala - 😍
•Apple jalebi with rose petal jam ice cream - 👍🏻
•Honey sea salt creme brûlée (Super. Had a lovely crack to it) - 👌🏻

Ambience - 5/5
Service - 3/5 (A little on the slow side)
Food - 4.5/5

🤪- Droolworthy
😍- Love
👌🏻- Super
👍🏻- Good
😐 - Average
😏 - Miss

Really nice food and amazing decor! Loved the mozerella kachori and wood fired pizza. The address given her is wrong and we reached the wrong place so do call and ask them the exact location first.

One of the best places I have been there to in Jaipur, both in aura and services. Superb combination of taste, serving size and the prices. We had a LIT in cocktails and the bartender knew his job, the taste and buzz was spot-on. It gives you a hint of royalty, which is the biggest perk.

The waiters were very well behaved keeping it tomthe expectations.

All and all dn't make a false notion in your head that's it's in the royal palace so it will be expensive. Walk in inside and decide for your self.

Firstly the approx price for this place is incorrect. It should be ₹2k for 2 persons. The food is decently good though everything is plated and not meant to be shared. The service is average and at times poor (the staff is not bothered if the Indian guests even get a table). The place is extremely expensive. The ambience was rather good though. The most shocking part was that I was charged 18% GST today even though other equivalent places charge 5% GST. When I asked the staff abt the 18% GST, they said that they are waiting to hear from their CA - really bad!!! And yet another failure with the government's implementation of GST. Even if the royals own this place, they are not above the law.
