Review Once Upon A Time - Jaipur

Ra Ju
It's a good place to have food (lunch or dinner) . You can go there with your family or friends, definitely you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the food as well. A special attraction is their showcasing the entry. It's a fine dining restaurant but definitely the overall ambience and decoration is very good.

Food was literally amazing. I personally recommend this restaurant when you visit here. You'll surely love the taste of gatte ki sabzi. Do have a try.

We had a great experience. The food was exotic in taste. Service was excellent. They really gave us a good amount of time to spend. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks a lot. Parking- The parking is spacious & free. Wheelchair accessibility- It has a wheelchair accessible entrance. The parking is also accessible for wheelchair use.

It is a very good restaurant which have the best view of whole jaipur city. The food is little but pricy in Indian standard, but all of them are delicious. Highly recommended the fish with green masala, which the texture and taste are so good. Although you can come for only dining, but you still have to pay for the entrance fee.

Love the location and the view .. friendly and helpful staff. Amazing ambience one can feel the royal culture . They serve North Indian food. Taste is good and authentic. Cost is justified with quality of service they are offering.

Absolutely loved the cuisine. The food served was very delicious. The service staff was very good. The atmosphere too. Would recommend everyone to visit the place and have a good time.

A heritage restaurant. The restaurant has been made in one section of Nahargarh Fort. Restaurant has completely heritage look due its interiors, exteriors and furniture. It has closed as well as open roof area. The services are very good just like a 4 or 5 star hotel. Prices are on higher side but the same are justified according to ambience and services they offer. The atmosphere is very calm. One can see view of Jaipur city from the windows of the restaurant. The experience was very different.
Bhavin Parikh
Located at the top of Nahargarh fort, this restaurant serves Punjabi Food. It is expensive because of popular tourist destination. Decent food and fair taste. Ample parking space ann amazing view of Jaipur city.

Stunning and gorgeous place to sit and enjoy a beer 🍺 Sits right on top at Nahargarh Fort. Has a royal Rajasthani look and beauty all around. The restaurant gives u almost 200 degree view of Jaipur city. It’s slightly on the expensive side coz they are giving u good food and beverages next to a historical palace (Nahargarh fort). We enjoy 2 chilled bottles of kingfisher (650 ml each) at Rs 930 inclusive of all taxes. It’s definitely a place one can indulge in once a while. I would love to visit again.

Delicious food and great service. From the moment we arrived we were personally escorted, under umbrella, to the restaurant from the car park. The view over the city from the table is beautiful. You must have dinner here if you come to Jaipur, not if you are on a budget as it is pricey but you certainly get value for money.

The place gives you a very authentic dine-in experience with its ambience interior and its food especially. Its daal baati churma is simon-pure and is a must try if you are visiting that place. The food overall is very delicious.

Beautiful place. Beautiful view. You will fall in love with this place. But make sure you reserve your table in advance so that you can enjoy the view while dining.

The Best Part about this place is the location, Beautiful Restaurant at top of The Nahargarh Fort,With a Royal Ambience Delightful Soft Music ❤️ That Touches Our Heart 💓..
We ordered lehsuni Murg kabab and Paneer Tikka .. The Food was So Tasty 😋
Stuti Jain
Everything was worth the price. Food is Good. From the Mukhiya bhoj, Do try the Jodhpur Ro masala Gatta 😍👍

Great ambiance and beautiful view.

The best part about this place is the location, you py for location and actually food is free, beautiful restaurant at top of nahargarh fort, ambiance is Royal and food is tasty. A must visit of you looking for restaurant with a view.
Sourabh
Having food at this restaurant is an experience in itself. On too of Nahargarh fort, built inside the fort compound, its a hidden gem. Amazing ambience, good service, and a most awesome location to have dinner. Or you can sip beer/coffee at the roof-top with a bird’s-eye view of the city. They need to work on the food though, needs some improvement in my opinion.

The ambience here is amazing, doesn't need any description.
We ordered paneer rara masala, 4.8 and kesar kyari biryani, 4.7
Paneer was really well prepared, fresh, soft and tender.
Biryani too was amazingly prepared and had characteristic aroma in it.
A good, memorable visit.
Beautiful place.. The traditional looks to the place is superb.. Gives a elegant look to the place.. The staff here is courteous enough.. Ambience is superb and very soothing..
Definitely will give you a good feel when you visit this place..
Ratings-
Ambience - 10/10
Staff- 10/10

I tried my tongue on-
Fried Spinach Chaat - 9/10
Dal Makhani - 8/10
Panner - 8/10

Breads were also good enough...

Just some important suggestions-
1- There are no lights from the parking area till the restaurant, that makes it super difficult to walk specially in rainy season as you may step in mud.. Thus there are chances of slipping. So some lights should be installed for this area.
2- Being such a traditional place, you should have a bar, the feel for the place increases with alcohol being served in it..

Overall - 9/10 ( Recommended)😊
After a detailed trip to Amer, followed by Jaigarh and then Nahargarh, you would definitely need a place to chillax and have a few beer! Definitely worth it!
Dheerja Chhipa
This is fine dine restaurant located in Nahargarh Fort.
Yes its expensive but worth of money to visit once.
Visited here for dinner with family.
Interiors is excellent and service was on time.
Had malai koft and biryani which was value for money.
Avkash Nagar
The place has the view to die for. The food is primarily Indian and inclined towards Rajasthani taste. The interiors are classy and royal. Don’t miss the view from the rooftop, you’re even allowed to take the drinks with you.
Devu Raj
Beautiful ambiance and hospitality.. And food was awesome. We ordered for Laal maans and some rajshtani specialities... Mutton was cooked with perfection and other dishes is also awesome.. Must visit place. When you are in Jaipur
Ankita
Beautiful ambience, secluded, zero disturbance, gives you a view of Jaipur city. Would rate 3.5 for food comparing it with the price. Alcohol available and yes super clean washrooms!

If there is a place which will give you a surreal experience- it js Once Upon A Time At Nahargarh. Situated within the Nahargarh Fort, the restaurant serves delicious meals with a view to die for! A must must must visit when in Jaipur!

Just finished a family dinner here. Very good ambience and spectacular views of the city from above. But the food was absolutely terrible. We ordered the chicken shorba, dahi kebabs and the non veg platter. Not a single item could be described as anything other than below average. The shorba was too sour, there was very little curd in the dahi kebabs and most of the items on the non veg platter did not taste fresh (I believe they used old, frozen meat). Sadly, the best item was the paapad. We pointed out these issues to the management and they provided a discount on the bill. But overall, an extremely disappointing experience and will not repeat or recommend. For these prices, a minimum standard of quality is a must.
Rahul Paul
Starting with the positives..

Superb view. Located at the nahargarh fort, which over sees the city of Jaipur. You can watch the city from here while you enjoy the food.

Ambience. My god it is a royal ambience. Everything about it is boutique. And they play a subtle and soothing music. Together makes it a great place to relax and enjoy your food.

Staff. Very polite and ever attentive staff

With everything stated above, how can there be any negatives?

However, the biryani i ordered was not my taste. Did not find it mouth watering as was told. They did not serve fresh salad. It was very dry. Had to ask them to change it. They did it graciously. The portion size isn't worth the cost.

Network is a big issue once you are in.

For Gold members only, not everything offered in the menu is subjected to your gold privilege.

Very heavy on the pocket. But I guess it's because they offer an extra classy fine dining experience at such a location.

If I would only judge the food, then it would fare only 3 stars. But 4 stars for the positives stated above.
Royal ambience and great view, food was delicious. We had our lunch there after exploring the fort must visit if you are in jaipur or planning a trip.
Dhruvika Joshi
If you are in Jaipur this is one restaurant I strongly recommend you to visit a little costly but worth every penny. I had the best biryani and the taste was soo Royal and the staff is kind enough to recommend the best dishes

Rating:
Food-5
Ambience-4
Service-5
Faiyaz Hawawala
Had a pre booking here with a city view table. It was a wintery chilled night with lovely atmosphere. The interiors were lovely as soon as we entered the restaurant. Amazing view of the city. The service is good, food is decent. Liked the malai kofta here. Biryani was okay. Definitely an instagram worthy place. The drive is also good if you enjoy a nice long drive in the hills at nighy.
Michelle Horne
The ambience and the entire decor is 5 star. The staff is very courteous and makes you comfortable. The view of Jaipur at night is amazing and the place is very comfortable to be in. It is sure to give you a lot of photo moments.
However I have rated one star less for the food choice and price. The food appears to be overpriced and low on choice.
The place is generally not overcrowded.
Shruti Nakod
The place is too good and the feeling of having lunch or dinner with an entire view of Jaipur city was an amazing experience . We ordered chicken biryani and paneer tikka, both were good.
The welcome was good from the staff and ambience is great and we got to know some of the history of the place from the staff who were polite!
A must try if you are in jaipur...and its on the expensive side on the budget.
Priya Sharma
A fine dining restaurant in the hills that gives your experience a perfect view.
One can have a meal with perfect view from the restaurant. Amazing hospitality and good food.
Ambience is also soo good and one can watch the entire jaipur while enjoying the food. 💯❤️
Oshee Johri
The ambience, view and seating is absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is a little too heavy and spicy but if you’re hungry enough, it’s a great place to be in Jaipur for at least one meal! The restaurant is actually in the space which originally used to be the King’s chamber and it does have a very royal feel to it.
Neha Gandhi
Breathtaking view and lipsmacking food.. it took a long drive to reach here, since it was a weekend which caused lot of traffic.. but once we reached here, the view of jaipur city from uo here was amazing.. we had already got a reservation and had booked the private dining area which could easily accommodate 15pax.
We ordered the Laal Maas (a rajasthani delicacy) along with baati keema. Both the dishes were well prepared with beautiful flavours. Dal makhani was one of the best here..
staff is very cheerful and accommodative..
they serve a twist of gulab jamun - called gulukand gulab jamun (it is a must try)
Ambience , food , staff, service - 10/10
Divvya Panghal
Amazing. The food or the view idk what's better.! Can't really compare. Great food with a good variety of beer and drinks. Preferably better on days with breeze. Would strictly recommend. A bit pricy the only thing to care about.

The location: Perched atop a hill overlooking Jaipur City. On a clear day, you can see miles together. I suggest, do visit on Diwali night.

The ambience: Royal and elegant.

The hospitality: Fit for a king.

The food: Bad. Really. Highly overpriced vis a vis quality and taste. The Fish starter (Machi Tawa Masala) tasted stale and prepared unprofessionally. The biryani was dripping oil. They charge you 5 star and serve food of quality lower than dhaba food. I regret the decision of visiting the restaurant. Only good thing was the mouth freshener.
Mayuri
Went for a short trip to Jaipur and aftermath the movie "Rang de Basanti" , Nahargarh fort is a famous tourist place. This place offers a peaceful dinning experience and delicious food. You will be lucky if you get the table from where you can view the entire city. Ordered Jal Mahal ki khoj(tandoori alu), beers and kheema Gobi with roomali roti. The only disappointing factor is that the price is high.
Padmesh
Lets start with the ambience. It has the perfect view of the whole city and going at night makes it more marvellous. If you eat outside you feel like eating on your terrace ,It's bound to relinquish your childhood memories.

Limited options and the food was a bit overpriced.
One thing they greatly lacked was
the hosptality .
Avinash Kaushik
This place is suggested by our guide when visited nahargarh fort.
Interiors are excellent. They have indoor and outdoor both eating space.
Had butter chicken and naan. Food is quite costly but hospitality and ambience is worth of money.
Varun Mishra
From entering this place till the time we left, everything was royal. City view while dinning was the best i could have ever imagined. It is a unique experience and one should not miss in Jaipur
Shrinidhi Hande
Tasty food in fort premises with an eye catching view- that's once upon a time in Nahargarh for you.

Taste was great- lots of local items were served. Staff attentive, we could walk to the terrace and get even greater look of the city- but beware of monkey menace on the terrace.
Ratika & Richa
Couldn’t have found a better place to spend winter afternoon. The delicious menu with royal hospitality. Just spell-bounding. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
Komal Jain
Lovely restaurant. We sat inside which gave us a view of the complete city. Food was really nice. Their portion size is too much, order half of whatever you think if you go in a couple.
Food: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience: 4/5
Aalam Raza
A nice view from the top of Nahargarh and nice ambience but highly over priced as the chicken Biryani is of 950/per plate. We were three persons and went for a birthday party and ordered for a chicken biryani as all the items were highly overpriced and we thought that for three person 2 chicken biryanis will be enough but our guess was wrong as first thing the items were highly overpriced and the quantity was not that enough. The taste was not upto the mark as well. We thought if they are charging that much amount then they will serve the ample amount of each item but we were wrong again. So to save our pockets we ordered 2 biryanis. This place is designed in keeping mind about the foreigners as they don’t know about the taste and only consider the ambience & for them this price is not high. I must say that if you want to that much amount then go for a nice restaurant which you know and which is near you don’t waste your money and time for being there.

#amazingplace#beautiful ambiance #rooftopview
Lovely food was offered. Sufi music was also played. Washrooms were clean. Recomended dishes: dal makhani jungli maas khadai murg. Site seeng at rooftop is adviced.

Well first of all was really apprehensive in trying this place due to bad reviews of food.
But found it opposite
As were not hungry much, so straightaway went to main course.
Ordered paneer rada masala and garlic naan, rotis.
It was really good in taste. Also got complementary assortment of papad basket which was great.
Plus I think the ambience was so perfect with open seating and light breeze that it made the place exotic.
Would definitely recommend!
Anica Meera Mann
The food in this place is sub-standard and will give you a bad tummy. go hear for a cool beer and some snack that is out of a packet. everything is over priced, a naan is 220 INR and the Laal Maas is awful.

this is not a fine dining place as they serve cheez-its for snacks!

I would not recommend this to anyone.

If you are visiting Jaipur and want to have a feel of royalty along with a panoramic view of Jaipur- This place is must to go. Even if you're full and don't want to eat much... just visit the place for the view it offers. Believe me you'll love it.

Ambience: 5/5
Food: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Hospitality: 5/5

Arihant Chauhan
It's the only option at Nahargadh which has a decent beers and wine in menu. Food is ok ok, doesn't match with the pricing. We seat outside..nice ambience but much waaaoo. Service was good but didn't get desired tables as said it reserved.
Carolyn Walter
Lovely view and nice dining room but very mediocre food. 2000 rupees for luke-warm watery tomato soup, cold naan, a small serving of lamb kebab, one beer, one water. Definitely not worth the price.
Derek Denzil
Highly disappointing.

Ambience - 10/10
Food - 5/10
Worth it - Nope!!

I visited jaipur and wanted to treat mom with a fine dine. If the food was good i would have been okay witj everything but man, the kadhai paneer that we ordered was bland and no out of the blue moon taste.

P.S- If you want to experience fine dining please visit here but if your looking for good food then this is not the place and also not worth your hard earned money. For one plate of Kadhai paneer and 5 rotis, i paid 2000/- imagine.

Anyway, this is my personal experience, try it for yourself.
Rohit Maingi
Last Night we had lovely dining experience at PDR of once upon a time in Nahargarh Fort. It’s lovely experience to dine, the way they have maintained the heritage of property and service, really commendable. It look expensive but I believe money they are charging for experience not for food.

This is a must visit place for a Romantic Evening. You gaze on the shimmering city lights of Jaipur from on top of this hill and glow with the Royal aura which this place exudes. There is this amazing Sarod and Tabla live performace in the open air, which sounds like a soulful rendition in the calm and sweet night. The ambience and the food along with the people who are serving you, are wonderful.
Most recommended for a long drive and good food. Away from the chaos of the city.
Alisha Gaba
Jaipur was my first solo trip and all I wanted to do was have drink gazing into the city lights at night and enjoy the simplistic charm. Nahargarh was one such place for me. My driver Ankit accompanied me along the fort, he did arrange me beer and music for the trip though the postguards caught us later for non permissible drinking. After a long halt at the fort, the lights at the corner of the fort supported an edifice which grabbed my eye. I quickly asked Ankit to drive towards the opposite side, the hoarding read "Once upon a time in Nahargarh".

All weary and thirsty we gathered ourselves inside, the facade lead to an open space leading to the edge of the fort, there was a party hosted at the terrace(that explained the musical lights). All I wanted was something sweet to cover up for my cravings, so ordered a Phirni for myself while Ankit chose a Maharaja lassi for himself. Without a doubt the lassi was above expectations, the consistency was frothy on the top with subtle sweetness and hint of saffron on the top. My phirni just couldn't impress me enough, well not everyone has their way around desserts.

Its a good place for anyone who wants a secluded place with a fine dine setup. But anyone who fancies the wilderness and simple historical charm should choose a walk around the fort.

A splendid cafe with beautiful interior nd view.
Attended a private party over thr...food was simply delicious nd service was too good . Whole cafe gives you royal feel be it interior , service or the hosptlty. Loved the place

Beautiful decor, amazing ambience and stunning view over Jaipur! Unfortunately the sufi musical extravaganza which we excitedly planned to see turned out to be a couple of singers sitting on the floor with a couple of instruments. The food was average both veg and non veg
Anindita Gupta
Beautiful ambience but nothing exceptional in terms of old artifacts or remembrants. We went there for the atmosphere and some high tea and some hard drinks for my brother.
Rohityads
Amazing ambience, food, service , lil bit of of customization and top it up with the heart touching feel.

A must visit , without doubt .... as the saying goes.... if u want some come and get some...

They make you feel so royal , right from the start... they escort you with an umbrella on the entrance...

The whole staff is very courteous , a special mention for Shikhar.... he is at the top of his game every time u blink, he is there to serve you, very personalised service..and must say top notch... possibilty of even a five star guy put to rest would be an understatement..

A must visit for all around ecstatic experience...only if you can dare to spend a bit and nuture an experience of its own

Best thing about this place is it's location. Situated inside the beautiful fort Nahargarh of Jaipur this place gives the best view of Jaipur City.

After exploring the fort Nahargarh late in evening, me and my friends have had decided to stay at the fort longer than it's stipulated time so we could have a great evening view of Jaipur city and that can be easily done having dinner at this fort restaurant.

We ordered mocktails with some starter which took longer than expected, but anyway we were more excited about the view and the venue, so we didn't mind it.

Mocktails served were made perfect, no complaints, we liked it. We spent good 2-3 hours there and had a tour of royal dining hall of the hotel.

This is must go place in Jaipur in late evening, you would absolutely love it.

A beautiful place and amazing view. We went for a romantic date over a food it just made my day. Folk singers were there on the day we visited, it was cherry on the cake. We went for dinner so the night view was mesmerizing.
Service - 3/5
Ambience - 4.5/5
View 5/5
Food- 3.5/5
Simran Likes It !!
A beautiful property, with amazing views!

This place was earlier named as Durg Cafeteria, which was run by the government and food used to be average.

However, surprise surprise! The place has been revamped and it has been turned into an amazing 5-star level restaurant.

A perfect place for a date or a family meal.

We went there as family of 5, including 2 kids.

The food was amazing. Especially the chicken tikka. Without any doubt this was the best chicken tikka I have ever had!! Butter chicken was also good.

The place is a bit pricey but totally worth it.

The cost for us came out to be around 6,500/-. This included 2 orders of chicken tikka, 1 butter chicken, breads, masala peanuts, 4-5 Bacardi breezers, couple of juices, and 2 coffees.

Highly recommended!

Since it rained last evening it looked like the entire Jaipuriet's wanted to go to Nahargarh. The approach road was blocked due to heavy rush and we had to wait for at lest an hour to reach on the top of the hill. Once reached, it was a good view of the entire Jaipur and we decided to go to this restaurant. Things which were good:

- prompt parking
- guy with traditional umbrella. He will escort you from parking to the restaurant. Giving you the feel of being one of the king/queen.
- ambience
- city view - both from the restaurant and from the terrace

Things that need attention:

- cutlery - was very basic. Doesn't compliment either the royal Look of the restaurant
- temperature control- when we reached it was post rain humidity and every one was sweating. They did switched on the AC however it took almost an hour to cool the room and by then we were done with our dinner.

Things that need immediate attention:

FOOD QUALITY: we ordered following:
veg seekh kababs - those were dry and doesn't taste good.
Dal makhni : was fine and not extra ordinary.
Butter chicken: they serve 4 boneless pcs in one portion I.e. In one single full butter chicken. We ordered 2 full butter chicken but still the quantity was enough. The way they served these two portions was combining it in one dish bowl. Wonder why they can't serve in two separate dish bowl. When I pin pointed in this then the server bought another serving.
Palak paneer: was just fine, same nothing extra ordinary.

The overall experience of visiting naharghar was excellent minus the quality of food, considering that you are paying a bomb for your dinner. The average cost of veg dish is approx 595 + taxes and non veg (chicken) is approx 695 ++.

So to conclude only the ambience was royal nothing else and you are paying exorbitant charges for that.
The best view you can ever get while having your chilled glass of beer.. or traditional and authentic Lal maas gravy with super soft and yummy cheese naan.. undoubtedly one of the best place to have your luxurious meal like a king in Jaipur.

Please do follow me on Instagram :- @chefzcorner

Located at the most happening place of jaipur i.e. nahargarh ,provides mesmerizing bird eye view of jaipur city, perfect rooftop restaurant for royal dinning!
Had been here few days back with friends, and we were just stunned by its beauty, food and services were good!
The royal live tabla music was adding more shine to it
Only problem is that it will definitely make a hole in your pocket😜
If you visit to nahargarh u cannot miss to go here!

Ambience : 5/5 . Great view of Jaipur esp in evenings

Food: 4.5 / 5. Palak patta chaat / papdi chaat were good. Soups were not that great. Hukum kofta curry , chilly Parantha were very good

Service : 4.5/5. Very courteous staff.

Place is designed perfectly, royalty speaks of itself amidst lost stories of warfare. This place is extremely good in winters when you specially need a beer in the evening, few hours of silence and bustling Jaipur in the backdrop. Food is awesome and orgasmic. The only thing lacking is music which can appropriately compliment this vintage arena.
Dr. Avantika
Trust me it's the best place for a romantic date over food or to just unwind with your friends. This place is a rooftop restaurant n being in a fort gives you that old world charm feeling. The best time to visit this place is in the evenings or on a pleasant weather day. We were not too hungry so ordered an Aam Panna n Palak chaat. Both of them were quite distinct n flavoursome. The Aam Panna was authentic n was the best among all tasted till now. The Palak ki chaat was light n savoury. Pls do visit the place whenever in Jaipur, U will always visit it after that, at least I will 😍😉

Visited with family.
Staff 5/5
Ambiance 4.5/5
Food 3.5/5
View from roof 5/5 😍
Price 4/5
Not multi cuisine restaurant but Indian (North, Western, Central)
Overall 4/5
One must visit the rooftop for the most beautiful view of Jaipur at night. It's so mesmerising. Click pictures with your loved ones. 😊

Great Ambiance and it is THE PLACE, if you want to opt for a Romantic Dinner. Food is good but will not say Excellent. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. The view of Jaipur from this place is breathtaking and backed by the local music is just an icing on the cake.
Shubham Kaushik
The ambience, the interiors are topnotch.
But when it comes to food.... Well the snacks were really good.. And for main course we ordered laal maas.. which was supposed to be spicy but it wasn't. Food service is very slow..

Beautiful place... Went on a weekday so place was quite empty, so we easily got a table and enjoyed the view and ambience. We had starter nao ranio ka kabab, some domestic wine... The service was quick... Live classical music was an add on.

Great place. Good food but really slow service. Not sure if the price is truly justified though. Enjoyed the view and the ambience. One can enjoy a great view of Jaipur from the place though.
Hardik Bhansali
This place has a beautiful setup and a beautiful view too. However if you are looking for a real good service or anything that comes close to the prices that they quote, look somewhere else! The staff is not trained, the food is average and prices are ridiculously high even for the setup. If the staff could be trained and food could be served in a decent manner, it will be a real good place. However if you are hungry and are out of options do visit this place as you don't have options around and the monopoly of the place makes you pay for it. It can be anything but a fine dining place! 2 on the scale of 5, just for the setup!

We had lunch here after a long day of sight seeing. The place was recommended by a local friend. The place is beautifully done up with amazing views of the whole city. In terms of food, everything we ate tasted good. Not too heavy. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Amer and fort area.
Ryan J. Farrick
A wonderful outdoor restaurant with great seating for watching the sun set over Jaipur. Good service and live music are the icing on the cake. Expect to pay a moderately large-sized bill for the experience. Food portions aren't very large but they are delicious.
Lalit Ramchandani
After a fun day of sightseeing, we wanted to have a nice meal and were treated to this absolute gem of a place by my cousin who is a local Jaipurite.

The restaurant is located right at the top of Nahargarh Fort from where you can literally see the entire city of Jaipur. Very few places in the world offer such sites and views and even fewer possibilities of having a grand restaurant at such locations. We are blessed to have them in India and should cherish and celebrate them.

The restaurant is designed in a theme consistent to the location, with regal and sophisticated furniture. They serve a truly authentic Indian menu, with some extremely rich and classic Mughlai dishes, which you don’t get as easily everywhere.

Everything we ordered from the menu was great. We had a slight issue with a lassi we ordered and they took it back immediately without any fuss. The staff and service were great, basically treating guests like royalty, to give you a truly royal experience. We dine by the window watching Jaipur city and concluded the meal in their courtyard with a tea. The experience was such that I was my blessings ☺.

The place is indeed a little expensive but this is the epitome of fine dining with a location, ambiance and view unparalleled, so I would say, its worth every penny :).

If you are visiting or live in Jaipur and haven’t visited this place for the sheer experience, you are totally missing out.

Great ambiance if one likes however the food is below average. Not the worth of even a single penny you spend. We ordered Biryani, it was too expensive nor the taste was good. To sum it up, if you want to have the view of city, then you may enjoy nothing else is good apart from that.

Visiting nahargarh after ages.. And thnks to my toddler who became hungry after a long drive we decided to have dinner here.. For a Saturday night we were the first guests - isnt that odd- but it is at the fort and maybe it is filled up in the afternoons due to tourists... The ambience is lovely i mean u can literally see the entire city from there.. Amazing views.. Food was average and the menu did not offer much choice...Typical Indian fare... We ordered laccha paratha, dal makhni and chicken biryani... I found it a costly as the food tasted average... I only
hope they could increase the menu items.. And add drinks menu as well... Nevertheless a lovely place to be at...

Nahargarh best view is from Padao restaurant run by RTDC, this is a hogwash , Renovated recently but poorly done decor, learn from 1135 Amer restaurant in Amer Fort its 100 times better,

If you are at Nahargarh fort , for what its worth make a quick visit take a bite & leave, food presentation is average with small portions, my friends had an upset stomach,

BEWARE they will add 10% service charge on your bill & push you to order more. NO Alcohol ...

The place & view from the restaurant is amazing....but that's it...

Nyc place. It is opened in place of durg cafeteria on nargarh. Ambience is nyc. They have two private dining room one has mughal painting and other has shekhawati painting on ceilings. Nycly done place. You can get a great view of Jaipur from a different angle. And a group playing classical songs is icing on cake for such ambience. Now talkin abt food we ordered seekh kebabs which were tasty. We ordered ragd paneer it ws OK nt that gud as I ws expecting. It ws OK. There is room for improvement in it. Staff is very generous and courteous. Always at the service treating you like king. Overall nyc experience. Worth trying once.

First thing first, it's a MUST go place, it's a must Visit if you are entertaining outside state guests and it's a must visit if you are a local and wish to see Nahargarh from a different perspective. The ambience is excellent, the view superb. Food is good - a bit on the expensive side but tastefully done and served, the staff is courteous. Place is nice quiet with a regal air to it. Amazing experience!!

A fairly good experience. The relief is the pivotal advantage of this place. The view of the whole Pink City is spectacular. Food is slightly overpriced but the taste is decent. A sufi group adds a feather to their cap in providing a royal Rajasthani experience. All in all a wonderful end to an exhausting day.
