Review Cafe Samsara - Jaipur

Manasi Pandya
I have never seen such quiet, pleasant and maintained place in Jaipur till now. A proper garden seating (indoor too) with beautiful and unique flowers all around. Its ambience is so soothing and the colors just make your heart happy ❤️ Staff is also nice and supportive. The only thing is that they have Western menu which is not understandable. They should have atleast mention what are the contents of the dish in the menu so that we can get an idea of what the dish might be like. We honestly had to ask the waiter to explain or order from looking the food pictures from Google. Apart from that, "HOT CHOCOLATE" is a must!!!!! I have had so many hot chocolates in my life but none of them was like this...i almost went numb on first sip and enjoyed the heavenly taste. Food is quite expensive as the place is popular amongst foreigners, but they provide good quantity and quality of food. So authentic and professional dishes. I went there on my birthday thank you for making it the best ❤️

Such a quaint cafe in a beautiful palace hotel! I had Grilled fish with chilli garlic sauce and Chicken and Homemade Mayo bagel! Both the dishes were simply amazing! Loved the interiors of the cafe too. Would love to come back!

Absolutely outstanding Ambience, Decor, Food and serenity. You will fall in love with this place. The place might seem expensive but is not more than a normal CCD Ćafe.

Samsara is a café and restaurant next to Haveli Jaipur Hotel and is the perfect hideaway surrounded by a beautiful well maintained garden. With a cute indoor area and an amazing terrace/English garden, Samsara is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee. Away from the busy streets of Jaipur, I actually felt like I was back in Europe for a bit. The menu offers a massive variety of foods, starters and drinks. We enjoyed vegetarian bagels, a tea, a coffee and a piece of cake and ended up paying around ₹1500. Although it is quite expensive the food was of really high quality and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to have a change from Indian cuisine for once.

Cafe Samsara is a beautiful quiet place ... situated in one of the busiest areas of Jaipur and yet once you feel you enter the property it’s almost quiet and serene ! Highly recommended for ambiance ! Go for a quiet candle lit dinner ... Food is great too ! except desserts which are extremely sweet ! To the extent that sweetness overpowers every other flavour

Pastel floral ambience is soothing to eyes. Food is delicious. Place is tidy.

By far my new favourite place in town. I absolutely loooved the food and the ambience. I went there with my friends yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised about the great quality of food and service . The staff was extremely courteous and was very particular about all the covid safety measures. I will highly recommend going to Samsara for a nice afternoon meal or an evening dinner/drinks.

Such a gorgeous cafe with delicious food and absolutely stunning decor. The staff were more than helpful- super pleasant, wonderful & hospitable. The desserts were to die for (sticky toffee pudding- wow!)! Such attention to detail with the menu. Highly, highly recommended. I’m already planning my next visit :)

Great place. Soothing color scheme. A bit expensive but gets compensated by warm hospitality. Bacon wrapped chicken is a must try delicacy. Service is a bit slow but that's okay once you start enjoying the ambience . bar was under renovation when we visited. However it is difficult to locate from main road which is crowded throughout. But look for ROYAL HERITAGE HAVELI .. A FADED FLEX VISIBLE OF YOU OBSERVE CAREFULLY.

Hello, I'm basically from Mumbai. I recently visited cafe samsara in jaipur on saturday. I wandered with my 5 female friends and immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of pleasant fragrance. The staff were so professional and the infrastructure of the cafe carrying beautiful shades of BLUE was amazing! The service was excellent from check in to check out. So thank you so much for taking such a wonderful care of us and for all your hard work and consideration. The food was absolutely wonderful from preparation to presentation, which was perfectly served by them, who also filled us in on the local community. And a very very special thanks for the CHEF ASHISH who was so friendly and genuine with us and informed us about our special dietary needs. Felt so proud to have a beautiful conversation with him. I have never seen such good customer service as i experienced @cafesamsara. We ordered the dinner which was terrific. I just want to say, in addition to a leisured meal at the end we're offered a special delightful Honey Bee Pie in desert which was again by CHEF ASHISH and it was delicious! Actually it was so nice to know we didn't have to worry as much about our food. Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything! we had a great time at samsara. And your staff helped to make it that way. And loads of LOVE for the dog named ZOYA. Highly recommended! All the good reviews that I've read about this property are true. I'll be sure let you know in advance before I'll come again with my family next time. We'll definitely vacation here and would like to have a stay!

Probably one of safest places to go in times Covid 19! Lush green gardens, super clean interiors, ample parking, brilliant food and great coffee, concerned, polite and careful staff, distanced seating etc etc.! One of the only few places in town that the family and I feel safe to be at! PS: the cakes are to die for!

This place was totally amazing. The desserts were super delicious and the presentation of various dishes were very unique. The facilities according to corona virus crisis is very well given. The preparation and ambience is fantastic along with the staff and their services. I would love to come here again and enjoy more dishes.

The chef took care of food very neatly and it was pleasing to eyes as well as to the taste buds of my tongue even after being so affordable the environment i was in also related entirely to food. The theme gave me a feel of ocean. In this current issue of epidemic i felt secured.

Awesome- food was as delicious to the palate as it was pleasing to the eyes ! Great ambience, staffs are very professional.

There is no safety and hygiene , poor service , rude staff, worst food and very less availability of food and drinks from menu.

The place looked very very beautiful. It gives you feel of royalty and sophisticated. The people serving there were very polite and nice. The cafe is little expensive and I didn't like most of the food I ordered. Tart was too hard, pizza was fine, ravioli had too much spinach, latte was good, khathi roll and toasties were good too.<br/>Hummus and sun-dried tomatoes from bagels and toasties: 3.5/5<br/>Soup of the day: 2.5/5 <br/>Wasabi chikken tikka: 3.5/5<br/>Tomato basel soup: 4/5<br/>Mocha fudge latte: 4/5<br/>Chicken kathi: 4/5<br/>Paneer kathi: 4/5<br/>Salted caramel tart: 2.5/5<br/>Spinach ravioli: 2/5<br/>Pizza: 4/5<br/>

Please do not visit this place "unchi dukan feeke pakwan"<br/>I ordered 2 cappuccino which was kind of cold, one spinach lasagna which wasn't eatable and cheese omlet which was tasteless. Worst experience.

A beautiful place with amazing food. Samsara is the best for good weather outing to a peaceful place. They have beautiful gardens and amazing interiors. It is basically a heritage Haveli which won’t disappoint you.

@fooodandreviews on Instagram<br/>The mushroom garlic bread tasted amazing but the pasta disappointed a bit. Amazing ambience tho. Perfect for a quiet, lovely afternoon!

This place is amazing for peaceful time with your company. This is the place to choose if you haven’t meet your people in long time than you must call them here.

We discovered this place on Instagram and was mildly surprised to find out that is exactly, or maybe even better that what we'd seen in the pictures. this place is literally an instagrammers heaven. I am neither a photographer nor a food blogger and still got over a dozen queries regarding this place in my insta story. so, full marks to the aesthetics and ambiance I guess. <br/><br/>we went here for Sunday brunch and here is what we had:<br/>Drinks:<br/>1. French press: Again a surprise, we hald expected it to be a regular, bitter, burnt coffee but it turned out to be a delicious, fragrant blend which we polished off soon enough and went for another one. <br/>2. Frappe: No Complaints. <br/>3. Fresh Watermelon juice: No Complaints.  <br/><br/>Mains:<br/> 1. Avocado and chill Toast: Nice crispy sour dough toast topped with chunky avocado. A nice brunch dish. <br/>2. Tomato Basil Toast. This was an absolute delight. better than the avo toast and one thing I am ordering again on my next visit.<br/>3. Bacon & Sausage Omelette: It came loaded with Bacon and Sausage  and was delicious. it came accompanied with multigrain toast and the regular. a stunning breakfast I would say. <br/>4. Aloo Paratha: They served us two parathas accompanied with Garlic pickle, yoghurt and butter. the paratha itself was nice but the filling was way to spicy for us. our server noticed us picking on the paratha and came to ask us if everything was alright. we told him our concern and he called the chef over to our table. the chef promptly replaced our food rectified to our taste and came again to check if it was ok this time. this was above and beyond and couldn't have expected anything more from the staff. <br/>5. Paneer Kathi roll: the warps were nice and thin and the filling was tasty, just a tad bit too oily.<br/><br/>We were too full by this point so had to skip dessert. <br/><br/>Overall, it is a stunning café, exquisite views to a well manicured garden, great location, and above all, matched by delicious food and exceptional service.

Loved Loved Loved this place..!!! The ambience is pristine.. and sets a mood for you.. the food is also lipsmacking..! Tried the Spinach ravioli and the husband had some bacon wrapped chicken which he says was soooo good.<br/><br/>The brownie and lemon poppy seed cake were a bit of a let down, simply coz they seemed overly sweet but quality undoubtedly the best. !<br/>The staff is also very polite and helpful<br/>Highly recommended..!

This cafe has a kind of environment suitable for both formal & informal meets. They have very eye pleasing interiors. Their food is nice . We had ordered spinach and aubergine lasagna , fusilli in pesto & hummus and sundries tomatoes. I am not much fan of aubergine but the lasagna was nice. I really liked the hummus & their pesto was yum. It is expensive but our experience was good , we had a great time. The staff is courteous and humble.

This has been a great find during our vacation in the pink city. A cozy cafe in a haveli. Loved the tastefully done interiors. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The handmade fettuccine pasta was awesome.

I went out there with a lady, the place happenes to be quite nice, specially for the people who look forward to some solence, light music, fine dine ambience, some luxury, some heritage and royality. Its a decently designed place but the main point is food and these guys really need to work upon their food stuff. Menu really looks lucrative but then food doesnt tempt much. Really beed to improve upon food. Ordered two thing, didn't like any apart from the complimentary starters

To start with , this was my old school, it was an amazing journey to see a school converted to luxury hotel . The classes converted to suites and rooms . The schools 20 years back were not like present day schools. Amazing to see how the same property has been turned around.<br/>Coming to food , awesome is the word. We asked chef Netrapal to prepare some thing that he makes best and choice was spinach ravioli with green garden salad. I must appreciate that the food was top notch and so was service . Vijay was very hospitable . We were served complimentary dessert in end.<br/>This place would be on my repeat list for sure .<br/>Thankyou Royal heritage Haveli / old brightlands Girls school

Ordered some basic foods from the menu. It tastes delicious with a amount of improvement still left. I choose this place randomly although it is not much rated high.<br/>I like this place and I suggest you to visit ones. And try to customize your order because everyone has different level of taste( BTW I like little spicy ).

Loved the food and ambience. The place is too pretty and serving authentic and yummy food. Their Hummus & Lavash, Sticky Toffee pudding is to die for. Loved their inhouse grown food which tasted so different from other cafe’s.

Good place, staff well trained. But does not have consistency. You order the same dish again, it would taste and loo different on the same day. The menu is well balanced.

The restaurant is set up beautifully in a heritage haveli with courteous staff and delicious food. An exceptionally beautiful place to dine out for a winter brunch for sure! Especially the hummus they serve is mouth watering. Totally recommend the place and happy faces makes the food taste even better...
My Food Blog
The best & most beautiful brunch I've ever had was at Cafe Samsara Jaipur. Owned by the royal family of Jaipur this hunting lodge turned hotel has an elegant vintage charm! The food has been carefully curated by the best of continental chefs and the decor is simply picture perfect from every corner. The warm hospitality won our hearts and it was a memorable afternoon with amazing food and some great conversation with the royal family. If you are in Rajasthan, you must visit Royal Heritage Haveli Jaipur and enjoy a delicious meal at Cafe Samsara. ❤️<br/>Dishes we tasted are Potato & Leek Soup, Royal Green Salad, Chilli Avocado Toastee, Laal Maas Cream Cheese Toastee, Wasabi Chicken Tikka, Bellpepper and Mozzarella Toastee, Spinach and Aubergine Lasagna, Hand Rolled Fettuccine, Bacon Wrapped Chicken, Blue Lagoon, Salted Caramel Tart and Cappuccino. Their USP is their bakery and all the different kinds of breads, pasta and pastries they serve are baked in-house. They also grow their own produce at their personal kitchen garden which ensure that all guests are served fresh, organic, home grown vegetables, fruits and herbs. They also have a full bar that serves the finest alcohol, cocktails and mocktails. 🔥<br/>Pocket Pinch: ₹1500 for two (approx).<br/>Overall, definitely recommended! 👌

We discovered this place on social media after a few friends posted pictures on Snapchat and Instagram. So we thought of experiencing the place ourselves!<br/><br/>It is located at the royal heritage haveli so ambiance doesn't get any better. Add to that, the cozy, pretty and charming decor and you're in a happy place!<br/><br/>Surprisingly, we were the only ones there for dinner but then, we were pretty late and barely made it in time before the café closed. The staff is very friendly and courteous.<br/><br/>Now, coming to the food... We ordered quite a few things from their menu. The clear chicken soup was really very nice. The tomato basil soup was quite alright. The avocado and chili crostini was just about alright. The lavage and hummus was fabulous!<br/><br/>For mains, the grilled basa in chili garlic oil was a cracker! The mushroom and leek pot pie was super delicious! The pesto spaghetti was very good too. Roast chicken was very nicely cooked but the mushroom sauce we called for, could have been better!<br/><br/>Had no space left to try desserts! But, the espresso Martini with grey goose was very good! Treat indeed! Will surely be back!

Searching for a quaint place for lunch or dinner where you can enjoy both, endless conversations and amazing food in Jaipur? This is right place to be then,<br/>A tastefully done café that serves food that not only looks fancy, but also tastes very home-like., we would highly recommend this for those who are looking for healthier options to eat. <br/>We had the oh so yummy bacon wrapped chicken and chicken kathi rolls out here. The service was a bit slow but we can say that the food pretty much made up for it. The interiors are absolutely stunning as well. <br/><br/>For more such reviews, follow us on Instagram and Facebook: twohangrywomen

Seems ok in non veg dishes but desserts are not up to mark, lemon tart is waste of money , the keema is actually nice but one can’t differentiate with keema rolls and keema paav , they both seems same so lack difference in taste but two dishes <br/>Ambience is 5 star

A beautifully designed and decorated Cafe, gives you the Royal feeling the moment you step in.<br/>Courtious staff and the owner personally looks after every minute detail, couldn't catch her name though but never the less the place is a must for niche private gatherings and brunch with good friends

A beautiful space for dinners and brunches! The staff is really cooperative and humble! Coming to the food, it is really authentic in flavour! I ordered hummus and lavash and lasagna! Both of them tasted just as fine, but for people who want spicy food, give second thoughts! And please visit the place just for the visual treats it offers!

Located inside the Royal Heritage Haveli in Khatipura, Cafe Samsara has to be way up there in my recommendation list!<br/><br/>Amazing ambience, friendly staff, groovy playlist and delicious food. One of the very few places in the city that has got all these elements right and are consistent with it.<br/><br/>Perfect setting for a Sunday brunch or even just to have a fun evening meal with friends.<br/><br/>P.S. Their Caesar Salad is a must try. The best I've ever had! Not just in the city, but BEST EVER! (Try the bacon version. It's yum!)

- LOCATION & AMBIANCE : 4.5/5<br/>Café Samsara is located inside a boutique hotel, Royal Heritage Haveli in Khatipura.<br/>The location might seem a bit off-beat, but once you enter the haveli, you’ll be mesmerised by the beauty of it.<br/>The café is extremely beautiful with bright colours around.<br/>It’s a pretty place where you can go and work alone in peace, or even hang out with your friends, family and loved ones<br/>The best part is that their pet dogs are always there at the café to welcome you!<br/><br/>- FOOD :<br/>Unlike the other new-age cafés who keep menus as thick as a novel these days, Café Samsara has a petite menu but with all amazing dishes.<br/>They make sure that whatever you order, it’s going to be delicious.<br/><br/>What I’d recommend you to try here :<br/><br/>EGGS BENEDICT<br/>SMOKED SALMON & CREAM CHEESE BAGEL<br/>FETA CHEESE & CARAMELISED ONIONS BAGEL<br/>QUINOA & POMEGRANATE SALAD<br/>MUSHROOM & LEEK POT PIE<br/>KEEMA PAO<br/><br/>Apart from the delicious food, they serve superb desserts .<br/>SALTED CARAMEL TART<br/>RHH BROWNIE<br/>VICTORIAN SPONGE CAKE<br/>STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING<br/><br/>They also have an in-house bar, so you can sip on delicious cocktails as well.<br/><br/>- STAFF & SERVICE :<br/>Staff is extremely friendly and service is very quick.<br/><br/>- VALUE FOR MONEY : 4/5<br/><br/>- WILL I VISIT AGAIN?<br/>Yes, I’m going to be a regular at this café!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of Café Samsara and I’m delighted to report that the wait was worth it . Decorated in a fresh aqua and white colour palate with plenty of light it gives an immediate regal impression . <br/>The menu incorporates a carefully curated selection of healthy dishes and I found it difficult to narrow down a choice . In the end I plumped for smoked salmon and cream cheese as it’s a dish I love but very difficult to find in Jaipur . It was presented beautifully and tasted delicious . <br/>The hospitality and service was delightful and a true hallmark of the Royal Heritage Haveli . <br/>I look forward to returning for afternoon tea and cakes .
