Review Mughal Rasoi - Jaipur

It was 12pm, was feeling hungry, I was turning around the menu of my hotel #flute boutique hotel jaipur . Suddenly a mail from trip advisor popped out on my phone and they said "it has been long you had visited Trip advisor and we have observed your current location is Jaipur " 😬😬 man they are tracking me 😂😂.... Any ways they sent a link - list of things to do in Jaipur. From the list I chose Mughal rasoi as by target and headed towards it. Mughal Rasoi - An excellent place The food served is Halal as they said. I had checked all the reviews in trip advisor and they stated that mutton Nihari , mutton Lal Maas, chicken korma is their specialty. They had a vide variety of menu options : I ordered - Mughal chicken salad Mutton Lal Maas Khaboos Tandoori roti I was going to order few more but the caption advised me that the dishes I have ordered will be more than enough for me 😐 The service was good ***** Ambiance good ***** Hygienic ***** The Mughal chicken salad was out standing😍😍😍, I loved it as it was with mayo , olive oil and there was some things which I couldn't figure out😜 LAL MAAS was also mouth watering , first it was looking like a normal mutton korma but when I tasted it , no man it was different and very tasty. I had not tasted Lal mass before but it was good , the mutton pieces were properly cooked and was delicious.😋😋😋 Khaboos disappointed me , we're like normal tandoor. The quantity served is enough for 3 people. Taste ***** Over all experience was good and I will surely recommend you guys to visit if you visit to Jaipur. Do visit this place.

In simple words loved the food.. hated the service.. what they lose out on service they make up by food.. We decided to order the unusual for starters and it was a risk we took.. So it was just okay.. I'm sure if we ordered some regular chicken tikka or tandoori it would have been awesome.. We ordered Murg ki gilawari for starters.. For main course we ordered Rice & Laal Maas and it was delightful.. Also ordered 3 types of bread and it was all good.. Food was great no doubt. Service average..

Great food.. hate the service though.. staff makes sure they treat you like you're there for free food.. but the food is great an that's why I go again n agin..

I had an opportunity to visit this restaurant during one of my business trips to Jaipur. I was the lone guest when I entered at around 7.30 PM. I was offered Jaljira drink which was good to have. Staff was friendly and helped me in choosing my dish. I ordered Handi Murgh which was delectable. I had also ordered Mughal Rasoi Khaboos which was naan. I enjoyed their overall hospitality. Food quantity was on lesser but as I was the lone guest, it was sufficient for me. I would certainly visit this place again in future to taste their other varieties.

Great food but ambience and biryani could have been better.

Mugal Rasoi, as name suggested, I love the starters, veg Manchurian and paneer papad, so delicious that I couldn't resist to finish it, though I didn't get much to have in the main course, because starters were sufficient. Staff members are good and supportive, sitting area is also good, worth visiting.

Good North Indian cuisine restaurant offering delectable dishes with their authentic preparations. The interiors are really good, and the staff is well mannered and helpful. I would recommend you order their chef specials, like the reshmi kebab, which is so soft and juicy that I am drooling while writing this. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but the food and service does justify it.

The menu offered plenty choices. They have Zomato Gold, so perhaps that holds your interest as well. The service was prompt, and the food prepared quickly. Good food, decent ambience, easily reached. Would recommend!!

The restaurant is situated at a prime location in c scheme area and hence is usually packed with customers on weekends as well as weekdays. During peak season this place also grabs attention of foreigners for their tasty non vegetarian dishes, especially the chicken chilli with gravy. The staff are well behaved and cooperative.

I heard about this place and gave it a visit recently and I can only say that if you are food lover in Jaipur you simply cant miss this place. The place Mughal Rasoi has got elegant Mughal interior from the walls to the glasses they serve water in. I cant recall last time I had such fine non-veg food and the place has got amazing ambience and its a perfect place to have family dinner. There is so much on the menu but unfortunately i couldnt try everything but I recommend 'lal mass' over there as a must try. Give this place a visit and you wont regret any part of it. MUGHAL RASOI

One of the best places for some mughlai dishes . The basil malai chicken tikka was really nice. Also they have a special live ghazal on all days except tuesday which is worth visiting the place As you enter the place you will feel the royalty floating around. You really need to visit the place.

Awesome ambiance, tasty food and service is too good. If you plan to visit Jaipur then please go there atleast once. They have two floors, 7th floor for family restaurant and 8th floor for other enjoyment like hukka, drinks n live music as well.

It has been always an great and royal experience Whenever I end up at Mughal Rasoi, It has been in my favourite restaurants list ever since I have been there for the first time. Still I crash in at place almost once or twice in a month, the staff is amazingly friendly and the food makes you go drool over again and again. I simply love it here.

Taste less. Biryani here has no flavour, pickle rice tastes much better

Very unprofessional staff. They are changing policies of zomato gold, and they do not allow to use Zomato gold. They made us wait for 1 hour, and did not get the starters, as they said they had changed the policy but there is no written document for the same.

First of all its never crowded. Am happy but don't know why. They serve the best food both for veg and non veg lovers. This place never disappoint you , hats off to the chef. The Staff present in Mughal Rasoi neglects your Zomato Gold benifits And Provogue u To fight by abusing.. this is not at all acceptable take strict action against these people..:

Rude staff. A normal waiter claiming himself as a manager. I used zomato gold on 2 dishes, one paneer dish was left over, so we decided to pack that dish and give to someone needy or some beggar on street, which was straight away refused by the self proclaimed manager, saying that we won’t pack because you used zomato gold. But I paid for that dish and I can do whatever I want with that dish. Hence, I won’t recommend going to this place.

Visited this place for lunch ,we ordered egg curry and handi murg!<br/>To be very honest the egg curry appeared spicy to me but was bland so not so happy with the egg curry however chicken was better!<br/>Overall experience: 2/5

After viewing zomato ratings I visited this restaurant and I have to say that the staff at the restaurant was useless as they all were busy watching the match and none of them were attending the customers. We all have to call each one of them everytime. The taste of the food was not upto the mark and the quality of the food was also not good. The owner must need to look at the staff and the quality of food.

Akbari tangdi was a bit dry but maybe because of the stuffing in it.<br/><br/>Ambience 🎪 ⭐⭐⭐<br/><br/>Ambience was good and serene. Staff was courteous and polite. A separate seating arrangement is also available for corporate parties and get togethers.<br/>Their menu had a special item "Khad Murg" which needs 24 hrs to cook and had to be informed prior for it.<br/><br/>Wonderful place for anyone craving authentic mughal cuisine.

This is a nice place in C Scheme which serves good food with a good ambience. Though its not too crowded, u can easily get a table but the food is really delicious and served hot with perfect mix of spices. The service is a little slow hut the food makes it up for all.

The worst experience ever!<br/>I called this place to inquire about their special dish Khad Murgh. This being a special dish which requires a pre-order to be made 24 hrs in advance before visiting the restaurant and cost a hefty 2000 rs. So it's obvious people would like to know about the dish before placing the order so I did the same, and guess what instead of answering my queries the person on the call hanged up the call on me without answering my questions.

I am from lucknow, and yet surprisingly i was not disappointed by the food here. Chicken changezi was spicy yet not firey and the malai chicken tikka was tender and juicy and roasted to perfection. Beautiful interiors, polite staff and great food! What a delicious plate of laal maas I had there! Moreover, who would have thought that their vegetarian dishes would be good in equal measure. Loved the place.

Easily locateable place in the midst of C scheme. Parking can be tough to find here. Ambiance of the place is very subtle and calm. The staff was very courteous and so was the host.<br/>Ordered tangri kebab, chicken changezi, chicken tikka and paneer lababdar with their drooling keema naan.<br/>Chicken tikka was very moist with succulent pieces of chicken and very good consistency and moist on the inside and crusty on the outside.<br/>Chicken changezi was cooked well in its rich gravy and was tasting amazing and very flavorful with their laccha paratha.<br/>Paneer lababdar was also good and good spicy with differentiated flavors.<br/>The only downside was the kebabs which were too dry and not at all fulfilling. Can work on kebabs otherwise great taste and great experience. Definitely looking forward to visit again to fulfil my meat cravings.

Food is good but staff is not all courteous. They asked for ID proof for my Zomato gold. I told them I'm not carrying my ID and sometimes exception can be made, it's not big I'm a regular user. I understand this is the policy. But they didn't even consider it. It's the small things like these that matter. They should be more professional in their approach. They should maintain customer relationship. Bad experience.

Visited this place during lunch time , ordered for Murgh lasooni tikka which was good & lal maas which was very bad as the meat pieces were very hard and chicken changezi which was basically chicken floating in oil with khameeri Roti . Not worth visiting.<br/>I ordered Rara Mutton and Mutton Biryani. Few minutes later they came with chicken biryani instead and said that the Rara Mutton is not available. Then I changed My order to junglee Maas and returned the biryani for replacement. The Mutton was not properly cooked moreover the taste was not very good. And I asked them to pack the left over biryani, to my surprise when I reached home and check the biryani it was half the quantity of leftover I sent for packing.

Laal Maas must eat !! And tandoori non veg starters .. only thing is if you r using Zomato gold here then u need to ask what all is covered under it else they create problem in billing !! Otherwise food taste is very much good laal Maas is mouth watering !!

Decent dining place in Jaipur for family and other gatherings.<br/><br/>Positives:<br/>1. The place has a good seating capacity.<br/>2. Parking is available.<br/>3. The vegetarian food is good.<br/><br/>Negatives:<br/>1. The staff is a bit lazy. We were the only table occupied and yet finding someone to help us was a task.<br/>2. The laal maas is fairly average. Nothing special about it.

Visited mughal rasoi sorry to say it was worthless. I ordered mutton kebab it costed me 455 n then out of taste too. He served us stale food it wasn't coaled freshly ..tandoori food has its own special essence n when we asked they stirred it in a pan applying oil on it which made it worst.. I on the spot refused from consuming it . They didnt even felt ashamed while adding the cost in the bill . At the end i just suggested him not to have the same shameless behaviour with other customers and manage with the cost next time<br/>The manager was speechless..i would just end by saying it was a very bad experience n i suggest you not to try mughal rasoi ever again!

Visited this place for lunch with family, a beautifully done up restaurant with ample parking space. The staff is very courteous and friendly. My order <br/>Chicken tangri with keema stuffing<br/>Lal ghost<br/>And special bread called kabus <br/>The food was awesome fresh and tasty, mutton was beautifully cooked and full of flavour <br/>A must visit place if you are in Jaipur

The food was pathetic. Tasted very bad. Worst Butter chicken of my life. No salt, zero butter, Hospital food is served here. Would prefer not to go there again, wasted my Gold visit.

Pathetic food. All the reviews about the food being good are fake. Lal Maas which is their so called speciality is horrible. No taste no flavor never visiting.

Went with family..half the items on the menu were not there..kids asked for straws but the manager denied..worst place in jaipur to eat ..not al all recommended

Starters were good but main course was not upto the mark... I found rates too high and ambience very normal..taste and service is not according to the prices they are charging... I will not recommend this place.. we can enjoy at other places in these prices..

Visited this place when I went to Jaipur. The best part about the place was it's rooftop ambience. Beautifully decorated and well serviced this place offers a variety of food at a price worth it. The music goes well along with the mood, and the staff is quite friendly.<br/>The food quality was great. I ordered Biryani, Pasta, Gulab Jamun and so much more. Each of the dishes was the best, and I loved the quick service delivered by the staff..

Pathetic service, ordered back to back food which are of much lower quality... Not recommended at all. It felt as if boiled veggies are just fried with spices. Even the manager was arrogant and we had to ask for everything even water. Though non-veg was okay okay type but veg( we ordered matar paneer, pindi chhole, paneer papad roll)

Food is decent. But the service is pretty bad. I wanted a little bit of extra Raita which I was denied. Is it too much to ask for? Disappointed.

One of the staff was very rude to me and my friends, rest were fine, and the food was okay, I ordered palak paneer, it was just fine, whereas my friends ordered chicken, I guess it was good, I’m not very sure.

Mughal Rasoi has good mughlai food. If you are really into mughlai then pay them a visit! Their mughlai chicken, mutton dishes are really good but I m fond of their paneer lababdaar!<br/>Disappointing was to see a mughlai restaurant in Chinese decor they have done nothing with their interiors. Probably they could have just used their rooftop interiors here as well! This place gives a mix feeling Chinese atmosphere with Mughal food!

One of the best kuboos that I tasted is at Mughal Rasoi . The Nihari soup is sure to be tasted if you visit the place , full of flavours and soothing in the winters. It is a difficult choice between mutton Rarha, junglee Maas and the Lal maans . Overall a good experience.

Food quality and quantity is not upto mark. The mughlai taste was missing in the dishes. Didn't meet our expectations. Ambiance decent. Staff not very customer friendly.

The North Indian food is just super tasty. I am very much fond of it and last night i had dal makhani it was amazing. Ambience is pretty and service is also A1. Highly recommended.
