But when I ordered the food, I got to know the reason behind it. What we ordered:<br/><br/>1. MAC AND CHEESE PASTA (1/5)<br/>It was there in the menu when we visited, it might not be present in the online menu. I really wonder how can anyone make Mac and cheese so bad.<br/><br/>2. ‎DUTCH TRUFFLE CAKE SHAKE (2/5)<br/>Nothing Dutch we could sense in the shake. Over sweet and regular chocolate shake it was. <br/><br/>3. ‎ FRESH LIME SODA (2/5)<br/>Even fresh lime soda was not good. <br/><br/>We ended up paying a bill of 750 INR for this and after seeing everything left on the table. Wanted to try this place frm a long time bt finally yestrday i went there with one of my friend nd to my surprise this place was worth trying. Beautiful and peaceful place for all the food lovers. Nachos were not that good otherwise mojito, coffee, pizza evrythng was nice. Ambience is awesome nd its easily to approach so u cn surely plan your nxt meal here. Can work a bit on service time

We went to this cafe with great expectations as it is from the house of Surya Mahal and located just above Kesar, which is their sweets shop. Would have given it a Minus rating if it was an option.The seating is not very comfortable, but we thought if the food is good it will not matter.We ordered a veg lasagne ( at their staffs recommendation) and a Maggi noodles. After waiting for 45 mins( for Maggi which supposedly takes two mins to cook) and the lasagne, we got food which was half cooked and burnt. The Maggi was still raw and the lasagne was burnt and somehow floating in some mashup of a sauce. I have never tasted anything so mediocre in the name of lasagne. And to think a place can go wrong with something as basic as Maggi, speaks a lot about them.I would have understood that they took a lot of time and messed up the food accidentally if the place was full. Sadly we were the only two customers. It was a weekday noon.<br/>On top of it, when we called the Manager( there isn't one, just a regular staff) and demanded an explanation, there was none.Then we asked for the so called Chef. A Mr Aman Kapoor presented himself.Without even bothering to listening to us he claimed and insisted the food was fine( how does he know?). On showing him the burnt pasta on the plate, he still had a pasty grin on his face and no apologies. This is the worst customer service we have have encountered in our life. They would not even accept that there was an issue with the food, forget about an apology.Suggestion: please do not waste your time and money here.And the management should give a serious thought to customer service and good food.

A very relaxing place to enjoy a delicuous breakfast ... had a club grill s/w and a hot cup of cappuccino. The staff is curteous an the ambiance is very pleasing . Visited this place after seeing good rating on Zomato but my experience turned to be bad one. Place is situated on the first floor of the building. It's basically a cafe but the ambience doens't justify the tag "cafe" to.some extemt, so for me the ambience was average. <br/><br/>Ordered :<br/><br/>1. Garlic Bread : The garlic bread served to me was burnt in the bottom so I couldn't eat a single bite of it as I took a very small bite and all it tasted was burnt bread. <br/><br/>2. Spaghetti White sauce pasta : It was my first time to tried spaghetti in pasta. It was an average dish no wow or good factor in it. The spaghetti was cooked properly but ratio of white sauce was more compared to vegetables. Mexican Foot-long - innovation at its best by fusion of Mexican nachos ( nachos and refined beans ) toppings , giving a look of open sub cum pizza topped with cheese served with tasty mayo-mint sauce and potato wedges. Though the bread was dry but it can be a nice filler. This innovation needs a little bit changes to become a hit . <br/>But you can definitely give it a try.<br/>

This is the worst place ni ever visited.. I thought because of kesar branding it would be good.. but very poor service.. untrained staff.. very bad in taste.. quantity was a disaster.. we ordered nachos and what I got was only 8-10 pcs. Hidden on one of the lanes leading from Tonk road, inside Surya Mahal Tower is this place that boasts of authentic Italian food. Wasn't very easy to locate though our GPS did manage to lead us to it ultimately. The place was virtually empty on a delightful evening on a weekend; that should have been our cue to turn around and retrace our steps out. The place felt a bit cramped and the tables were shaky. Apparently the top was not attached to the base and they expected you to pull off a balancing act while you had your meals. Nevertheless hunger and laziness got the better of us and we decided to try their Chilly Cheese Cigars which were cigar shaped pastry rolled with cheese and chilly served with pesto and mayo. They didn't disappoint and encouraged us to settle on having our dinner there. Asked for their specialty on offer and were recommended the Ravioli. While the Ravioli made it's way to the table we had a sip on the Virgin Mojito which which was refreshing like you get anywhere else. When finally the main course for the night arrived, we were starving and the Ravioli looked gorgeous and inviting in green pesto sauce. But then that was just to be a mirage. The moment we dug our teeth on the first morsel, the sourness of the thing hit us. It was sour, too sour. On asking the server about it, we were told that was how they made it and was liked by all which seemed to be a dubious claim at best. Our appetite having been brutally murdered, we escaped the place and helped ourselves to some ice cream at Kesar on the ground floor to get over the sourness. Tips for eating here - stay clear of the Ravioli and hold on to your tables tight.

This cafe is located above Kesar sweet shop. Just like all other cafe, its average. Nothing unique as such. Coffee was ok ok. Service was quick & good. Cafe was clean and giving a fresh feeling.

When you enter the Café it seems quite cool with nice and thoughtful graffiti. For us, it was a peaceful and a quiet dinner as there was no other customer. We ordered a Tomato Soup, Veg. Hakka Noodles with Manchurian and a Veg. Pizza. The Chef asked whether we'll have dry Noodles or with gravy. I was a little confused, I thought he meant Manchurian , so I said with gravy. Anyway, the Soup came followed by Noodles with Manchurian. The Soup was brilliant, it was made with smoked tomatoes. It tasted great. The Noodles came with gravy and Manchurian was gravy too. Well, it looked upsetting. However, it tasted pretty nice. Beyond my expectations. Manchurian balls were soft and gravy wasn't too spicy. It was a good combination. <br/>Then came the pizza baked it the wooden oven. The sides were almost burnt and the pizza smelled weird. There was something not right there. So I called the server and asked him to look at it to which he agreed. Then in place of that we ordered a TFLC Sandwich grilled with French fries on the side. The sandwich was nice and crispy fries saved the day. <br/>Value for Money : Decently priced

He himself taking the wrong order and want to settle down the bill by offering me GARLIC BREADS. even if the cash collection was wrong. although interior was good..pizza and garlic bread was also good. but "Nachos" only 10 in numbers.<br/><br/>place was ok. at good location but with lots of negative points.

I visited first time at this place. Interior of the cafe is classy,with numerous funky quotes. I ordered pastry shake which was just normal choclaty with a piece of brownie. White penny pesto was yummy. But the service is very slow. Nice place to try it out once. :)

It's not to popular and I wonder why. Food is good, interior is OK but service is little bit slow. Everything we ordered was good. Oreo shake was good. Pasta was and falafel were also tasty. May be because of suryamahal it has not got too much popularity.

The first time I visited was solo, and the experience was good enough, the She mocha was the show stopper (unfortunately that was the only time it was good so the next time I had to switch to Irish coffee) The cappuccino is equally amazing. The thin crust margherita and cheese garlic bread were well prepared. The belgian waffles were ordered on two occasions but were really disappointing the second time, more especially coz it had been ordered on my recommendation. The coffees no doubt are good. The staff is cordial. The ambiance is peppy with good music.

To taste inhospitality and arrogance of the staff, visit floating leaf. V kept waiting for apple pie for 20 minutes which was finally not served on a petty excuse that der were other guests. Had high hopes from this cafe, coz its by Bake hut, but sadly the food wasn't up to the mark as well as the coffee.<br/>Showed up in the morning for a good breakfast, The staff didn't have any idea if they have pancakes or not, plus they were a little less informative about anything we asked from the menu.<br/>The spaghetti pasta that we had ordered came as penne pasta with a reply "this is what we have".<br/>Only the Dutch truffle cake shake was good.<br/>The cafe is on the Mezzanine floor, so its there just for being there, I believe.

And in the end with DBC pastries. <br/>One thing they should notice is the size og their tables , we had a bit of trouble placing our stuff and the food items, actually we were struggling a bit.<br/>Rest everything was fine. In the menu description, they said there's gonna be a lot of cheese over it but it was nothing like that. They just tossed nacho chips, jalapeños, olives etc and served with small cups of salsa and sour cream. BAD!<br/><br/>Mexican tower : The only difference between this and Nachos was that this dish also had rice. And it sucked BAD!<br/><br/>Rosa pasta : the pink sauce pasta. It was good. For a change. I was doubtful about this place. But as soon as you entered this place is it have everything to look for. Ambaince and look n feel of this place is really great. Metal chairs and tables gives perfect feel of a cafe,which is something you cant related to Surya mahal. Food wise it is one of the best taste in the city. They have almost everything you can look for in a cafe's menu. Fire cracker is a must try here . Pizza are really good because they don't have fixed anything in pizza, everything can be fully customized. Overall I will consider it as one of the best in city. I really want to try again here...

A small place with a very delicious food.<br/><br/>First we ordered for a combo of an All veggie burger, nachos and chocolate shake. It took time but it was worth waiting for. After having then, we ordered for garlic bread which was also quite good.<br/><br/>So, definitely another visit is on the cards very soon.

Amazing place.. Didn't feel like I was in India anymore ... The environment is so relaxing and decorations are very unique.. The menu offers a wide range of exotic items ... Particularly, liked the Dutch truffle cake shake and the creamy pasta. The price is a little steep and the portions are small.. But overall the floating leaf cafe is an experience, not just a place to visit.

A soothing place with tempting food to enjoy with friends n family... This place gives a thought to come again n again here... One thing i loved about the place that staff n chef of the cafe were so friendly that they allow me to learn how to make My Favorite POUTINE... Cannelloni was delicious n presentation makes it more mouthwatering... Its ambience was really colorful n antique n gives a positive energy when u come to chill at TFLC...... This place was okay but to satisfy you tummy this place would be a complete no for meh.the ambiance was funky and cool but let face it wheen go to a cafe or restro ..its the food u want to remember ..the pasta we order was disspointing..our ice tea was too much sweet and their pizza was well too much indianized..

Good place for a quick bite. Quite place , not too much of a hustle. Staff is very friendly and polite. Parking is easily available. Very good quality food at a reasonable price. Really nice ambience.

Surya Mahal is a smart player. Having your own tower and putting a variety of food places in it, definitely gives you an easy way to get the traffic. <br/><br/>As you enter the place, which is on the first floor, you would first wonder why you have to go through a sweet shop, but these are the sweet musings and you should let them pass. <br/><br/>The ambience is just brilliant. They have worked well on the interiors and created a fancy seating space. On one side you have a large glass window that lets the sun rays pass through it and on the other you have nice decorations. <br/><br/>Coming to the food part, mmm, well, they do need to work on it. I had the burger, which was supposed to be special, and as it turned out, it was too ordinary. They hadn't even used any sauces. The drinks were also not that great. The Irish coffee was not Irish at all and even Cappuccino lacked the favour. <br/><br/>The service there was quick and friendly, so that was a good thing. So, it's the food quality and the overpriced menu  that prompted me to rate it on the lower side. Otherwise it's a decent place to hang-out once in a while.

i have been to this place twice and my review is blend of both my visits.<br/><br/>First let me talk about the location which is no doubt kind of easy to reach. Anyone knowing the Durgapura area can definitely get to the place without a mess. Its on the first floor of Surya mahal tower. you ll have to enter the building, cross the bakery area and take lift or stairs.<br/><br/>Parking is not a big issue here at normal times, also a guard is generally available there.<br/><br/>Coming to the ambiance, as you come to the floor there is a very decent corridor decorated with few bamboo plants and some kind of small sculptures with dim yellow lights around.<br/><br/>Someone would be ready to welcome you and make you comfortable choosing your seats. Like in trend of raw interiors the place has also got the same. What i liked inside was the open kitchen area and the colorful chairs.<br/><br/>So giving a rough ambiance, i think they were able to make it.<br/><br/>Staff and services, for this thing i had dual experience.<br/><br/>On my first visit i was served with a dish that was not meant to be prepared that way. My order was a thai tofu salad and they prepared it in a chinese touch. What i got was more of a chilly tofu but that too not to the level. full of liquid gravy, no vegetables just deep fried tofu mixed with soya sauce gravy.<br/><br/>I had to leave it the way it was served but the good part was on complaining to the authorities about the serve they immediately responded and the lady who was i think the owner of the place came up and prepared the actual thai tofu salad for us. This time it was actual salad with far better taste.<br/><br/>Their chilli cheese cigars are brilliant, they are served with pesto mayonnaise and worth giving a shot.<br/><br/>On my second visit i found everything near to good. My order was Greek nachos. they were good enough to satisfy my taste buds. Hello <br/>Today I entered here with lots of expectations and was exclaimed by the interior and the food quality. Though it's a outlet of suryamahal so the taste of food is amazing. A must go place. Cute little place

Quite new Lounge situated near talwalkars durgapura, at the 1st floor in surya mahal tower.<br/>Ambiance: COLORFUL, yes very much. A cool place to hangout with your friends but if you wish to go on a date please reconsider.<br/>The staff is trained, polite and very much attentive to all your needs.<br/>Food: Naaaiicee! I would call it. We ordered Alfredo pasta, garlic bread and bruschetta.<br/>Pasta and garlic bread tasted good but bruschetta wasn't upto the mark.<br/> I will give it 4/5 on the basis of food.<br/>Also, it's a good place to get your pictures clicked. Vibrant walls serves the quirky background for the pictures.<br/>Value for money: The above items costed us Rs.700 with tax so i would say that's quite reasonable.<br/>We went around 7 pm and it was all empty that's sort of unpleasant. Anyways,we enjoyed all the place to ourselves but they surely need to do something about this.<br/><br/>Will I revisit? YES :)

This Cafe is not that popular in the city. But after visiting this place i wondered why ? Also, when i visited this place it was all empty with none of the people around. Again, how come?<br/><br/>Well, this cafe is situated quite in the posh notable area of the city. Inside the cafe, the walls are well adorned with different urban looks and stylish paint work. Most importantly, we people are very well greeted by the waiters. The waiter very patiently given us the time to look into the menu and order when we wanted. This thing is quite rare these days in the restaurants. The waiters are always very eager to get the order and sometimes even seem like pushing the guests by approaching them for the order even before they are done looking into the menu. We ordered pizza and a starter (dint really remember the name :P). I liked the fact that their was an option to choose four toppings of our choice among many options for the pizza. And also same for the sauce for the pizza.<br/><br/>They took a bit long to get the order but yes it was worth the wait. The pizza was nice and starter was okay. Then we ordered for Chocolate cold coffee and my friend gone for some Blueberry smoothie. The chocolate cafe was very nice indeed but the smoothie was horrible but i believe for the smoothie the Cafe is not responsible but the blueberries itself were. As they taste like an antacid medicine of pink color.<br/><br/>Overall, the experience was nice. One can visit the place for lite moments. <br/><br/>Cheers!

I think Floating Leaf Cafe, situated in the Surya Mahal tower is one of the better place to go and enjoy a hot/cold beverages, variety of shakes and Italian food specially. <br/><br/>The pics uploaded by Zomato are not doing any justice to showcase the inner decoration, ambience and environment of the place which indeed is much much colourful and varied. Looks appealing!! Light music playing in the background doesn't distract one's conversation (unlike many other places) and adds more to the cafe-ish setting.<br/><br/>Floating Leaf Cafe came to my attention when I visited Surya Mahal restaurant which is just a floor above. So this time, craving for Italian reminded me of this place.<br/><br/>We ordered risotto croquettes for starters and a pizza with it. One can choose for the type of sauce from tomato or pesto for pizza base and 4 toppings of one's choice. We went for tomato sauce base and onion, paneer, olive and jalapeño as our toppings. It was a thin crust pizza. It was okay. But the RISOTTO CROQUETTES are worth mentioning. We were served 4 pieces and they were so delicious that we gulped them in one go. Crunchy from outside and cheese filled inside made them good. <br/><br/>We also ordered couple of drinks. Choco frappe coffee was good. But it was a big mistake to have ordered slim down smoothie. Made of blueberries they tasted like gelusil tablets. I could hardly finish it. I would never order anything to drink with blueberries in it. :D<br/><br/>The service was a little slow. It took around 15 minutes I think for our drinks to arrive. The other thing lacking was the lack of people visiting the place. Wonder why!!<br/><br/>I would recommend people living around the area to give it a go. Worth visiting. I would love to go again to try other cuisines.

In one line 'Average cafe'. Good ambiance, good sitting arrangement, and supportive staff. Good quite was ok type.. yes, price according to quality was bit high.Over all it is beautiful cafe. I recommend it, if someone looking for cafe in this area.

Many 'cafés' in the same city makes it a 'so-so' with not so exceptions ! But still a place where one can be ! Stuff was good with no negative remarks, except the 'price tag' ! Though, that matches with the other cafés too ! So, acceptable ! Some suggestions includes, bigger tables to manage the stuffs, n proper circulation for AC, especially at the seat where road view is visible ! Overall, thumbs up ! A good/ average !

One of the finest live kitchen cafes I have ever dined in.<br/>What a lovely food with Italian continental and much more. <br/>The Lebanese platter was just out of the world with the falafel properly fried and the dips were cool. And even the drunken mushrooms were good properly grilled with the crispy crust<br/>A must visit place!!!!<br/>Enjoyed a lot with that lovely food.<br/>Keep it up
